Sharon Stone calls her fame ‘Barney’ the purple elephant

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Stone has nicknamed her fame “Barney” the purple elephant.
The ‘Basic Instinct’ actress, 66, recently told how she feels like she lost her career after she was almost killed by a brain haemorrhage in 2001 – and has now said she uses the term to describe her celebrity as it feels like a huge animal she has to drag around with her in public.
She said at the Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday (21.06.24), where the ‘Casino’ star accepted the Icon Award: “I call my fame Barney, the purple elephant, and that sometimes I don’t want to go out because I have to take Barney with me, and it can be embarrassing for other people and uncomfortable for me, and make it hard for me to have normal relationships with people in the world.”
Sharon added about being shot into the global spotlight in the 1980s and ’90s:
“I became so famous so fast, and I became so famous in a way that people wanted to diminish me for my accomplishment.”
But she said people didn’t want her to be famous as she “was a woman”, adding: “They didn’t want to give it to me because I was a woman who took a position of power, and then I decided to use fame in a way that I felt had meaning and value.
“And I feel that if you don’t use your fame in an effort to help change the world into a better place, that it’s a wasted thing.”
Sharon tied up her award acceptance speech by thanking people in the audience including the event’s host Tiffany Haddish, as well as Cardi B and Raven-Symoné.
She added: “I just want to say thank you to you, because so many of you in this room have allowed me to feel safe and normal and loved and that I have a place to be.
“When you’re a woman or person of colour or a person who’s LGBTQ, or anybody other than a white man, sometimes makes you feel like you’re less or smaller, when in fact you are the majority.”

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley spend ’24 hours a day together’

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley spend “24 hours a day together”.
The film producer has opened up about his marriage to the ‘Barbie’ star revealing their relationship is totally “seamless” and they don’t spend a moment apart as they run a movie production company together and recently set up their own gin brand Papa Salt.
He told The Times newspaper they spend “24 hours a day together” and when asked about the blending of their personal and professional lives, he added: “It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
Together, Margot and Tom, 34, have produced films including the Academy Award-winning ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘Promising Young Woman’, as well as the 2023 blockbuster ‘Barbie’, all under their LuckyChap Entertainment banner.
When asked if the couple have any arguments, Tom said the only time they ever clash is over their favourite chocolate covered biscuits. He said: “[I feel] like an honourary Aussie, Margot feels like an honourary Brit … [we only argue over] whether Tim Tams or Penguins are better.”
Margot went on to add the pair have two shared passions and they work on them both together, adding: “Our passions are movies and drinks. And now we’ve ticked them both.”
The couple met in Belgium in 2013 when they were working on war drama ‘Suite Française’ together and they went on to marry three years later in 2016
The actress has previously admitted she feels lucky to have a “normie” husband who is happy with life behind the camera.
She told ‘E! News’: “I am so lucky. “He likes being behind the camera, he’s not fazed by any of this stuff, he’s just the best. It’s so fun.
“I love the word ‘normie’. Like All my friends, everyone’s kind of like, ‘That’s cool what you do. But you know, it’s more cool to hang out and talk about other stuff.’ And you’re like, ‘I know.'”

Love Actually’s Thomas Brodie-Sangster marries Elon Musk’s ex-wife Talulah Riley

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Actually’ star Thomas Brodie-Sangster has married Elon Musk’s ex-wife Talulah Riley.
The 34-year-old actor – who is best known for playing Sam in the 2003 rom-com classic – and the 38-year-old ‘St. Trinian’s’ actress tied the knot at St George’s Church in Anstey, Hertfordshire on Saturday (22.06.24), The Sun reports
The beautiful bride wowed in classic gown with bow straps, a lengthy veil, and a cascading white and green bouquet.
Thomas looked dapper in a long-length blue suit jacket with a red and white floral waistcoat and grey and white-striped trousers with a white rose to match his other half’s flowers.
This marks Thomas’ first marriage, but Talulah has been married not once, but twice to billionaire Tesla founder Elon, 52, who congratulated the pair on their engagement last July.
The X owner was married to Talulah from 2010 to 2012 and again from 2013 to 2016, and he showed there are no hard feelings between them when he wished her and then-fiancé Thomas well after they shared that they were getting married after two years of dating.
Talulah penned on the app: “Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged.”
Within five minutes of her post, the social media platform’s owner replied: “Congratulations [red heart emoji]”
Talulah previously revealed Elon – who has an estimated net worth of $232 billion – used to suffer from night terrors and would wake up “screaming” during the early days of their relationship because he was terrified of going bankrupt.
Speaking on BBC documentary ‘The Elon Musk Show’, she said: “He was trying to avoid bankruptcy. Every day Elon would come home and say, ‘That’s it.’ He was being ridiculed by the press. He would have these night terrors in the middle of the night. We’d be fast asleep and suddenly he would be screaming in his sleep, like he was trying to climb up and escape something.”
The ‘Pistol’ actress went on to explain that the entrepreneur – who later married pop singer Grimes, 36, with whom he has two children, and has several other offspring from various relationships – had even offered her a “way out” of their relationship in the early days of his businesses but the pair got engaged just 10 days after they met in a London nightclub.
She added: “All available resources had to be ploughed into the company. He gave me an out. He said, ‘This is going to be the hard part, you don’t have to stay for it.’ My first impressions were that he was very sweet, he seemed quite shy. He said, ‘May I put my hand on your knee’, and I said, ‘OK go on then’, I thought it was quite sweet that he asked. Then one evening I remember he said would you like to come back to my hotel room so we can look at rocket videos? And I thought, OK, I’ll come back. And we did get into his hotel room… and he did just show me rocket videos.
“I moved straight into the home with all the children, and it became a very real thing immediately. I think because of my youth, I was relatively gung-ho about it. Essentially our home life was work. We were focused on the companies and the children.”

Charli XCX ‘will not tolerate’ wicked chants about Taylor Swift at her concerts

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX has called for alleged chants of “Taylor is dead!” at her concerts to stop immediately.
The ‘360’ singer was left “disturbed” to hear that some fans had been shouting the hateful message about Taylor Swift, and warned she will not “tolerate” it in her “community”.
After her ‘Brat’ show in São Paulo, Brazil, on June 23, an X user shared videos of attendees seemingly chanting “A Taylor Morreu,”, which translates to “Taylor is dead”.
Their post continued: “Could you do something about it? We don’t (believe) that’s what music should be about.”
The 31-year-old hyperpop chart-topper reacted on her Instagram Story: “can the people who do this please stop. online or at my shows. it is the opposite of what i want and it disturbs me that anyone would think there is room for this in this community. i will not tolerate it. (sic)”
The hateful chants come after fans speculated Charli’s song ‘Sympathy is a knife’ is about 34-year-old pop superstar Taylor – who the ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker opened for in 2018, but they have presumed is no longer close to.
They believe the lyrics are about Taylor’s brief romance with The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy, 35, as Charli is engaged to the group’s drummer, George Daniel, 34, who is name-dropped.
Charli sings: “Don’t wanna see her backstage at my boyfriend’s show/ Fingers crossed behind my back/ I hope they break up quick.”
However, she has never confirmed or denied this to be the case.
Charli has also been competing with Taylor in the charts, with the latter’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ LP reigning at the top.
The former had her biggest-selling week, with ‘Brat’ peaking at number two in the UK.
Charli’s call for the mean chants to stop comes after she released a remix of ‘Brat’ song ‘Girl, so confusing’ featuring Lorde, and dispelled their feud.
The New Zealand pop star was speculated to have been the subject of the track, as Charli spoke out on the comparisons between the pair and recently admitted she felt jealous of her peer’s success with her 2013 hit ‘Royals’.
She sings over a pulsating beat: “People say we’re alike/ They say we’ve got the same hair.”
Another line goes: “Yeah, I don’t know if you like me/Sometimes I think you might hate me/Sometimes I think I might hate you/Maybe you just wanna be me.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone UK, Charli confessed she compared her music and fashion style to that of the 27-year-old Kiwi – whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor – and was envious that she was having huge success, whilst she felt “insecure” about her own music.

Taylor Swift brings Travis Kelce onstage at London show

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift brought her boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage to perform a routine with her during a show in London.
The pop star was playing her third concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday night (23.06.24) when she thrilled fans by bringing out the football player dressed in a morning suit to take part in a skit as she sang her track ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ during which she pretended to pass out and was carried to a sofa by her partner.
Taylor then blew a kiss to her man as he made his exit. It’s the first time the couple have ever shared the stage together even though Travis has been a regular supporter in the audience of shows on her ‘The Eras’ tour.
She also gave a nod to Travis by changing the lyrics of her song ‘Karma’ to reference his NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs, singing: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me”.
Travis also appeared on Taylor’s social media accounts for the first time over the weekend (22-23.06.24) when he was seen posing for a selfie with the singer and Prince William as well as the royal’s two young children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The 34-year-old pop star was first linked to the sportsman in September 2023 when she was seen attending one of his matches for the Kansas City Chiefs, but she later admitted they were already a couple by the time the world found out about their romance.
She told Time magazine: “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.
“By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
Taylor was first spotted at one of Travis’ games on September 24 when she was seen cheering him on as the Kansas City Chiefs played the Chicago Bears at the Arrowhead Stadium.
The ‘Blank Space’ star went on to add she’s happy to be seen at the games because being in a relationship means they support each other.
She explained: “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Anthony Michael Hall took 20 years to ‘process’ child fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Anthony Michael Hall took 20 years to “process” the first half of his life after shooting to fame as a child star.
‘The Breakfast Club’ actor launched his career in showbiz at the age of seven and went on to become a teen idol thanks to his collaborations with director John Hughes in the 1980s but Anthony, now 56, has admitted it took him two decades to understand his early experiences.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I joke with my family that it took me 20 years to process the first 20 years of my life. By my early 40s, it started to make some sense. It’s a weird thing when you start getting recognition, particularly at that age, when you’re already self-conscious … My life was surreal.”
Anthony confessed he started partying hard while living at a hotel in Los Angeles and needed to step away from the movie business for several years in his 20s. During his break, he started therapy and began to curb his drinking.
He added: “I had to get that in check because I was a little bit of a wild ass when I was a kid.”
Anthony also met up with his estranged biological father who he hadn’t seen since he was very young and he admitted that experience was “healing”.
He went on to add: “[I learned] the value of what had happened to me, and that came through hard work. I had to really earn it. There’s a certain point where the stuff you do as a kid doesn’t work any more, so I had awkward periods and I struggled through my 20s to keep going.”
Anthony previously compared his early fame to a horror movie, telling The Independent newspaper: “Fame was off-putting and kind of scary.
“It’s not unlike a horror movie. When celebrity hits you, all of a sudden people are staring at you and looking at you in odd ways. Even though I was just a pubescent teenager, suddenly I was thrown into this world of showbusiness.
“You don’t know what people are thinking, people are whispering about you, and it’s a strange thing to have to adjust to.”
He added: “Over time, you put it in perspective because, look, you should be more worried when people are forgetting you. “If they don’t remember you, that’s when you should be worried.”

Thomas Markle feels ‘deep empathy’ for King Charles

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Markle feels “deep empathy” for King Charles over their shared lack of contact with their grandchildren.
The retired lighting director would “love” to speak to the monarch as he imagines the king also questions why he has so little contact with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who relocated to California after stepping down from royal duties four years ago – or their children Prince Archie, five, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet, and insisted neither of them “deserve” to be treated “so badly” by the couple.
Thomas – who has had no contact with his daughter Meghan since before she married Prince Harry in 2018 – told MailOnline’s Mail+: “I would love to speak to him because I am sure he has as many unanswered questions as I do. Neither of us deserves the treatment we’ve received.
“He is going through cancer treatment and I’m not in the best of health. I’m not afraid of dying. It is what it is.
“I have so many questions I’d like to ask Meghan and Harry. The main one being, why have they treated not only me but the royal family and the King so badly.”
Thomas was particularly saddened when he saw photos from last weekend’s Trooping The Colour celebrations because Archie and Lilibet are “being denied the right” to get to know the children of Harry’s brother Prince William, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis.
He said: “It struck me as very sad that Meghan and Harry’s kids are being denied the right to know their cousins, who look like fantastic children.
“The relationship between cousins is a special one. There’s a unique bond.
“I feel sad that Lilibet and Archie don’t have the chance to get to know their cousins and take part in things like Trooping The Colour, which is their birthright.
“They are getting to the age where they will start asking questions, as all kids do.
“At some stage it’s inevitable that they will ask their parents why they have cut them off from both sides of the family?
“They have two grandpas who want to see them, one of whom is the King of England. I never in my 80 years thought I’d be in the same boat as the King.
“The decisions Meghan and Harry have made will affect their kids for the rest of their lives. I find myself wondering how Archie and Lilibet will feel in a few years time when they realise all the things they have missed out on.”
Thomas turns 80 next month and while he’ll spend the day with son Thomas Jr. and speak to his eldest daughter Samantha on the phone, he isn’t expecting to hear from his estranged daughter or her family.
He said: “I don’t expect to hear from Meghan and Harry. I wish we could have worked this situation out. I was always ready and willing to do that.”

Shania Twain wished she ‘wasn’t a woman’

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain spent years wishing she “wasn’t a woman” after suffering childhood abuse.
The 58-year-old superstar has admitted a series of negative experiences when she was young forced her to “set boundaries and guards” and she “missed out on the joy of being a female” – but she eventually learned to embrace her body and she wrote her hit song ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ about her new-found love for herself.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper: “That song was me saying, I have waited too long to feel good about being a woman. For many years I shied away from it or wished I wasn’t a woman. I was a shy, insecure female – not person.
“My brain said, ‘I don’t really care what I am,’ but my body got in the way – the female got in the way. I’ve got curves so I had to set boundaries and guards very young.
“I did everything not to bring attention to them. I missed out on the joy of being a female … For my whole teens I never once went to the beach in a bathing suit. I knew that boys were going to take advantage of me in one way or another …
“But then I became tired of acting like I’m not a female with curves, so I wrote ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ I guess I was a late bloomer in getting comfortable in my own skin, but after a while you just have to stop picking away at the things you can’t change.”
Shania went on to talk about female representation in the music industry insisting young women need to be better protected when they are starting out as singers in order to encourage more to take up careers in music.
She explained: “How can you dream of being somebody if only one in every 20 adults that you admire is the same sex as you? … It’s a lot more than just sexism, it’s about representation – for young girls to go, ‘I want to be her,’ you need to make that feel obtainable.
“But let’s also be realistic. A lot of girls don’t want to be in bar bands like I was throughout my childhood and teens. But you have to start somewhere. You can’t just be Beyonce …
“Some bars in Canada had a room for live music and another for strip shows – not a lot of girls are attracted to that. That scene is more intimidating for a girl because men are drunk and boundaries get blurry. How can you attract women to that? How do they feel safe and stay protected?”

Kevin Costner only planned for one season of Yellowstone

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner only wanted to do one season of ‘Yellowstone’.
The 69-year-old actor announced last week he was leaving his role as John Dutton before the second half of the fifth and final series of the show to focus on other projects, but he’s now admitted he had never intended to stay with the project for so long anyway.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “‘Yellowstone’ was a great moment in my life.
“I remember reading it, and thinking I wanted to do this. Maybe do one season or just one long movie, and ended up doing five [seasons].
“It was important for me to be able to do other things and, you know, try to make that work. [But] I just wasn’t able to make it work.”
Kevin stressed he had had a “wonderful” time working on the show and hopes it will be a big part of his legacy.
He said: “I make movies and I’m a part of things that I think are gonna be really watchable. That’s what I want, to be for people to be surprised.
“And ‘Yellowstone’ burst onto the scene and it was a surprise, and it was wonderful and it was good… and other characters were jumping off the screen, and that’s what I want to be known for, you know?”
The award-winning star’s focus is currently with his Western epic movie series, ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ – of which the first movie, subtitled ‘Chapter 1’ is out later this month – and he hopes it will be must-see viewing for all ages.
Kevin – who co-wrote, directed and stars in the planned four-part story – said: “‘Horizon’, even though it’s [rated] R, I want for people to go home and go, ‘You know what? I want to take the kids to see ‘Horizon’, because yes it’s violent, but I want them to understand that’s probably what happened to their great great grandmothers and grandfathers.'”
Following months of speculation, the ‘Bodyguard’ actor confirmed last week he won’t be back for the final episodes of ‘Yellowstone’.
He said in a video shared to Instagram: “I just wanted to reach out and let you know that, after this long year-and-a-half of working on ‘Horizon’, and doing all the things that that’s required, and thinking about ‘Yellowstone’ – that beloved series that I love, that I know you love – I just realised that I am not going to be able to continue season 5b, or into the future.”

Peter Andre pulled over by police for ‘driving with pint of Guinness’

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre was once pulled over by traffic cops because they thought he was driving while drinking a pint of Guinness.
The 51-year-old pop star has revealed he was motoring through the town of Ipswich several years ago when he had an unexpected brush with the law when police pulled over his car because they saw an iced black coffee in his cup holder and they mistook it for a boozy beverage.
In his column for OK! magazine, he revealed Justin Timberlake’s recent arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated reminded him of his own misunderstanding. He wrote: “Although I have never driven under the influence, [Justin’s arrest] got me thinking about a time I was pulled over.
“I was driving in Ipswich to visit my brother and I got stopped by the police because they thought I had a pint of Guinness next to me.
“Unknown to them, it was just an iced black coffee with froth on top – and it looked very much like a Guinness.
“The policeman said to me, ‘Sir, when was the last time you had a drink?’ And I think he expected me to say ‘last night’ or ‘this morning’ but my answer was, ‘Around nine or 10 years ago.’ We both started laughing.”
Peter had to take a breathalyser test, which he passed, and he revealed the police officer told him not to carry his coffee in a pint glass anymore.
He added: “[The officer] said to me, ‘Look, just a bit of advice, don’t put your coffee in a pint glass and drive around with it.’ Lesson learnt.”
In the column, Peter also revealed his teenage daughter Princess is now learning to drive as she turns 17 later this week – the legal age in the UK to take to the road – and he’s promised to buy her a car once she passes her test.
He added: “Not only is Princess turning 17 this week, but she is also learning to drive and will be sitting her theory test at some point. I can’t believe how grown up she is! I’m getting ready to help her practise …
“When it comes to getting a car, though, she wants to wait until she has her licence. [Her elder brother] Junior wanted one ahead of time but Princess said she wants to wait and pick one out afterwards.”

Lily Gladstone considered ‘stepping back’ from acting

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Gladstone wanted to “step back” from acting because she felt it wasn’t “serving” her or anyone else.
The 37-year-old star became a household name thanks to her performance as Osage tribeswoman Mollie in ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and while she scored a string of award nominations and wins for the role, one of the biggest honours she received was when her tribe, the Blackfeet Nation, held Lily Gladstone Day to celebrate her being shortlisted for an Oscar because she got to meet the young members who had cheered her on during her low moments.
She told the Sunday Times Culture: “One of the most moving things was getting to meet these kids that I had seen making TikToks cheering me on all through awards season.
“I’d look at their little faces every time I needed a pick-me-up, listening to them tell me to try hard.
“I’ve wanted to step back from acting at points because I felt like it wasn’t serving anybody, not even me, but [the tribe] supported me.”
And Lily admitted the support of her parents had kept her going when it came to pursing her screen dreams.
She told how her father “has constantly hung the word ‘Oscar’ in my ear since I was about six”, while her mother, a community college teacher, encouraged her to study a subject she enjoyed rather than would would “be a safe bet”.
She added: “She was not interested in what would bring me financial security; she wanted me to be happy. I wouldn’t have made it so far if I hadn’t been given the support I had.”
Lily can next be seen as Seneca-Cayuga tribeswoman Jax, who investigates the disappearance of her sister in ‘Fancy Dance’ – which is directed by Erica Tremblay – and she admitted it was only the success of ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ that the film found distribution because Hollywood had so few movies about Native Americans.
She said: “‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ came out and suddenly audiences had an appetite for this kind of story, so it landed.”

Jon Voight ‘proud’ of Angelina Jolie’s parenting

OHMYGOSSIP — Jon Voight is “very proud” of his daughter Angelina Jolie’s parenting skills.
The 49-year-old actress is mum to six children with her ex Brad Pitt and Jon has declared Angelina is an excellent mum to her brood because she encourages all of them to follow their dreams.
He told TMZ.com: “I’m very proud of Angie. The way she really tries to encourage each of the kids to really be what they want to be.”
Jon also expressed his pride in his 15-year-old granddaughter Vivienne, who recently indulged her love of theatre by working as a volunteer on Broadway musical ‘The Outsiders’ after encouraging her mum to come onboard as a producer.
The ‘Midnight Cowboy’ star added: “The director of [‘The Outsiders’] – great director [Danya Taymor] – said that [Vivienne] has talent. She has an eye for something.
“She contributed when she was working with Angie and I’m sure Angie contributed to some of it, especially with the actors but Angie is a great director so anyway it was wonderful … I’m very proud of Vivienne.”
Angelina won her first ever Tony Award for her work as a producer on the musical and she recently admitted it helped her get to know the teenager better.
She told Deadline: “My daughter Viv loves theatre. “She appreciates all theatre but she certainly knows what she feels close to and what she responds to … “It was a very different experience of understanding, of how this [piece] is having a significant effect on her as a young person right now, and she’s communicating something to me, and that is the power of this material.
“And then I had the privilege of watching everyone work over this last year to make it into what it is, and Vivienne has been there the whole way.”

Simone Ashley pledges support to ‘inspiring’ Nicola Coughlan

OHMYGOSSIP — Simone Ashley is “inspired” by Nicola Coughlan and “really believes” in her.
The 29-year-old actress has offered her support to her ‘Bridgerton’ co-star in the wake of the body shaming she has experienced since stepping to the forefront of the period drama as her character Penelope Featherington takes centre stage in season three opposide Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton.
Speaking at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco earlier this month, Simone – who plays Kate Bridgerton – praised her friend for ignoring her critics and embracing a positive attitude.
She said: “Yeah, the haters are going to hate, and I think we can all relate to that, but I really don’t think that she’s allowing that to bother her.
“She has a strong and fruitful career and entire life ahead of her. And I really believe in her, as the world does as well.
“I think Nicola is just absolutely flying. She is a gorgeous, strong, confident, intelligent woman, seeing her do this press tour and spread so much joy and inspiration to everyone — especially women — all over the world.
“And I’m inspired by her as well. She’s also a really kind human being, and I think that’s such a universal language that people can relate to.”
Earlier this month, Nicola hit back at online claims her waist had been “photoshopped” to look slimmer on the show.
She told People magazine: “I saw some trolls. They were like, ‘They photoshopped your waist,’ and I was like, ‘No, they did not.’
“I think if you wear corsetry for long enough, your body really moulds to it.
“Sometimes they come in for a fitting for a fashion designer and they put a corset on me and I’m like, ‘Oh, you can go tight,’ and they go, ‘What do you mean?’ I’m like, ‘My body now will go, ‘Whew.’ ”
The 37-year-old actress also laughed off comments she was “very brave” to strip off on the show.
During a fan event in Dublin, she said: “You know, I think it is hard, because I think women with my body type — women with perfect breasts — we don’t get to see ourselves on screen enough.
“I am a very proud member of the perfect breasts community, and I hope you enjoy seeing them.”

Princess Anne hospitalised with concussion

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne has been hospitalised following an “incident” at home.
The 73-year-old Princess Royal suffered minor injuries and concussion at Gatcombe Park on Sunday (23.06.24) evening, and is staying at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for observation, but is expected to make a “swift” recovery.
An official statement from Buckingham Palace read: “The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening. Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.”
Anne’s brother, King Charles, has sent his “fondest love” to his sister as she recovers.
The statement concluded: “The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”
Anne – who was the first royal to take part in the Olympic games when she competed in three-day eventing in 1976 – recently declared she has been “treated as an honorary man” for “a lot” of her life.
She told Australian Woman’s Weekly magazine: “I have been treated as an honorary man for a lot of my life. I did take part in a sport which didn’t have any gender balance. It was open to both, end of story.
“So, I had the benefit of being treated equally … although oddly enough when I first went to Australia I found a difference, the men went down one end of the room and the women went up the other. I didn’t think that was entirely appropriate.”

Michael Jackson’s chimpanzee Bubbles ‘living the good life’

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s pet chimpanzee Bubbles is “living the good life” in his later years.
The iconic musician – who passed away in 2009 – bought his primate pal from a Texas research facility in the 1980s but he was sent to the Center for Great Apes in 2005, and the 41-year-old chimp has a “lot of freedom” at the sanctuary.
Patti Ragan, director at the facility, told TMZ Bubbles is able to explore tunnels, build a nest under a tree, take daily midday naps and occasionally even paint, while his welfare is regularly checked by a vet and caregiver staff.
Bubbles – who weighs around 180lbs – is described as friendly and interacts well with visitors and other animals, including fellow chimpanzees Oopsie, Boma, Ripley, Kodua, and Stryker.
Although Michael’s music and videos are regularly played for the chimps, Bubbles doesn’t appear to show a preferance for the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker’s sons.
The Michael Jackson Estate has continued to care for Bubbles in the aftermath of the ‘Billie Jean’ singer’s death, contributing to his annual care costs, which come in at around $27,000 per year.
Michael’s attorney and family members have also made the effort to visit the sanctuary in recent years, where they have enjoyed “sweet” encounters with the creature.
In addition, Michael’s fanclub regularly sends treats for Bubbles such as coconuts, mangos and blankets, which he enjoys curling up with during his nap times.
Tuesday (25.06.24) marks 15 years since the ‘Bad’ hitmaker passed away, but the sanctuary has no plans to commemorate the anniversary.
The average life span of a chimpanzee in captivity is around 50-60 years old.
Toto guitarist Steve Lukather previously told how Michael had to stop bringing Bubbles to the recording studio when he was recording his ‘Thriller’ album because the primate caused so much chaos.
He told Ultimate Guitar magazine: “He stopped bringing him to the studio because he tore apart the vocal booth and threw s*** against the wall at Westlake Audio.
“Man, that monkey just ripped that f******* vocal booth to shreds. I think they banned ol’ Bubbles from the studio after that.
“But Michael was cool, man, he was a pro. He’d sing his ass off in the studio. He knew what he wanted and I guess he loved what we did. He kept hiring us.”

Nicola Peltz-Beckham vows to ‘relentlessly investigate’ dog’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Peltz-Beckham is “relentlessly investigating” her dog’s death.
The 29-year-old actress and her husband Brooklyn announced earlier this month that their chihuahua Nala had passed away after a grooming appointment and she is determined to find out “exactly what happened” to her canine companion.
She wrote in an Instagram Story post over the weekend: “My heart has been shattered these last few months.
“this last month in particular has been one of the most painful i’ve ever gone through.
“from my naunni’s passing to my angel nala’s shocking and sudden death — going into the dog groomers healthy and coming out in distress and passing a few hours after — our entire family is devastated…
“i am relentlessly investigating the situation to find out exactly what happened in that groomer’s van. i am doing everything i can to uncover the truth.
“if her death was not due to foul play, then why isn’t the groomer cooperating with our investigation — they currently are not. nala was the most amazing, energetic and happy puppy, and deserves better than this heartbreaking ending.
“i can’t thank you enough for all your love and support during this time. (sic)”
The ‘Lola’ actress has been left “shocked” by the number of people who have shared similar stories.
She wrote: “the response to the tragedy in my comments, dms and texts from others that detail similar horrifying experiences with their animals and groomers has shocked me to my core.
“never in my wildest nightmares could I have imagined other families experiencing the same pain and horror
“as most of you know, one of my life’s missions has always been advocating for the safety and well-being of dogs and animals.
“i will advocate to help make sure this never happens to another family, because the pain is unbearable.(sic)”
Nicola announced the devastating loss of Nala earlier this month.
She wrote on Instagram: “this has been the hardest month of my life. i can’t even find the words to describe my heartbreak on so many levels. nala was perfectly healthy when she went to the groomers yesterday but came out hyperventilating and couldn’t catch her breath.
“we rushed her to the vet and she passed hours later.
“i’m sharing this in hopes that it might prevent this from happening to other dogs.
“her life was taken away from her way too soon. she was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for 9 years through everything.
“please be careful who you send your dogs to because you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. 1 day without nala on earth feels like an eternity.
“i wish i could have her back in my arms. i pray she’s with my naunni. i hope i see them soon.(sic)”
