OHMYGOSSIP — Natasha Hamilton says her breakups caused the “sickest” and “darkest” feelings she’s ever felt.
The 41-year-old singer – who has Josh, 20, with ex Fran Cosgrave, Harry, 18, with Gavin Hatcher, Alfie, 12, with ex-husband Riad Erraji, Ella, eight, with Ritchie Neville, and nine-month-old Kitty with husband Charles Gay – has reflected on her new single ‘Edge of Us’, and how she felt after her past splits.
She told the ‘My Dirty Laundry’ podcast: “When you’re going through a breakup, from my experience, It’s probably the weakest and the lowest you actually feel.
“You get that like sicky knot feeling in your tummy where you know you’re going to have to walk away but you have a lot to lose.
“You might have a home, you might have a child, you might have a marriage. You feel like you’re gonna lose everything.
“It’s the sickest, most darkest feeling that I’ve ever felt in my life, walking away, especially from like a divorce, or the breakdown of a marriage especially.”
However, making it through that darkness has been “really empowering” as she has learned to take care of herself.
Now, she insisted that “despite the traumas” she has dealt with, she is glad to be making her “blended family” work for her five children.
She explained: “We’re a blended family and sometimes I feel like people can’t fathom how you can make something work that from the outside looking in, that looks different or chaotic.
“They just they can’t comprehend what they don’t know, but I’m sat here with five incredible children and my life has continued and flourished and got better, despite the traumas that I’ve been through in my personal life.
“Did I ever want any of that? Of course I didn’t! God, you must be mad! Like, to ever wish any of that upon you – but I can’t live in the past.
“I’m never going say I wish that didn’t happen. I’m not going to wish my life away. Everything has made me the woman who I am today.”
And the Atomic Kitten’s past experiences mean she doesn’t “judge” people for what they’re going through, and instead focuses on “how they treat” others.
She added: “I’m probably more accepting than most people are because I have been through a lot. I do not judge someone because of their circumstance. Absolutely not.
“I judge people how they treat me. You know, how you show respect to people, like they’re the important things.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mia Goth has been on a “similar trajectory” to her ‘MaXXXine’ character.
The 30-year-old actress has played Maxine Minx in the ‘X’ film series, and Mia sees strong similarities between her real-life self and her on-screen character.
The movie star – who first played Maxine in 2022’s ‘X’ – told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “In a very strange way, actually. When we started filming this trilogy four years ago, I was in a very different place in my life. And from the moment I read ‘X’ for the first time I connected with her.”
Mia believes that the similarities have ultimately helped her in her role.
She said: “We’ve been on a similar trajectory and I think it’s just helped inform the work.”
Meanwhile, Mia previously revealed that she’s “very director-driven”.
The actress suggested that she was drawn to the ‘X’ franchise because she wanted to work with Ti West, who has directed all of the films in the series.
Mia told Vanity Fair in 2023: “I’m very director-driven.
“If I don’t trust the person who’s the head of the ship, I really don’t think there’s any point in being involved in something. So I watch their movies, or am a fan to begin with, and get an understanding of the worlds that they’re in.”
Mia always does her research on directors before committing to any project.
The actress explained that she’s always fully committed to her roles, explaining that she “would pretty much do anything” to improve her own performance.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Roger Moore’s gravesite has reportedly been vandalised.
A ‘James Bond’ fan visited the Cimetière de Monaco – an intimate and exclusive cemetery in La Colle, Monaco – last week and tried to find the late 007 actor’s resting place by looking for a large family crest which marked the tombstone.
However, TMZ reports that the man found the grave only to discover the shield representing the star’s family “has been ripped off”.
The fan as “equal parts shocked” and angry that someone do something like this, while it’s said local authorities – and the cemetery itself – had no idea the apparent crime had occurred.
Both parties told the outlet that no one had “reported the vandalism” until now.
Moore died in 2017 aged 89, and is fondly remembered by Bond fans after taking over the iconic role from Sean Connery.
He played Ian Fleming’s fictional spy in seven films, beginning with ‘Live and Let Die’ in 1973, before appearing as 007 for the final time in 1985’s ‘A View To A Kill’, after which Timothy Dalton portrayed the character.
Other actors who played the role include George Lazenby, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, who has left the franchise after his version of Bond was killed off in ‘No Time To Die’.
Producers are now on the hunt for the next star to take up the mantle, with the likes of Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Taron Egerton, Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill and more all linked to the part.
Moore’s son Geoffrey – who is also known as Jaffa – previously hit out at the “ridiculous” idea of an American actor playing Bond.
Asked if the role could be played by an American, Jaffa told Express.co.uk: “I mean, there’s a lot of talent out there, but he has to be English.
“It’s ridiculous to consider Bond being an American.
“You know, even if he’s got a flawless accent, he’s got to be British. It is an English franchise. It’s butterscotch and red telephone boxes and ‘His Majesty the King.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o overcame her fear of cats to star in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’.
The 41-year-old actress has a feline companion throughout the psychological thriller film, and Lupita ultimately managed to overcome her fears in order to shoot the movie.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I had to get over my fear of cats to make this movie to begin with.
“I was very afraid of cats before I made this movie. It’s actually why I hesitated about whether I would accept this role or not because of my fear of cats. I had to get over my fear of cats before I could start this movie. But they were they were spectacular.”
Lupita also enjoyed the experience of working with Joseph Quinn, her on-screen co-star.
The actress shared: “We get along and it was quite easy. It surprised me how easy we got along.
“We took a lot of trust to make a film like this because there is no dialogue, so you have to be kinda in tune with each other, you have to listen, you have to be perceptive and really be able to pick up what the other person is putting down.”
Lupita remembers the production as an “intimate experience”.
The actress also heaped praise on her co-star, describing Joseph as an “open, generous, funny person”.
The movie star shared: “I think making this film together was an intimate experience that we really enjoyed. And Joe is a very open, generous, funny person.”
Meanwhile, Lupita previously admitted to being a huge fan of the ‘Quiet Place’ franchise.
During an appearance on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’, she said: “The first ones I watched at home in the daylight, where I could pause when I got too scared. But what I loved about them when I watched them – I really did regret not watching them in the cinema.”

The 33-year-old pop star is set to release ‘Encino’, her first album in a decade, later this year, and Pixie has reflected on how the industry has evolved over the last ten years.
The blonde beauty – who is married to model Oliver Cheshire – told MailOnline: “It feels crazy that it’s been ten years because I just don’t know how that’s happened – like, I have done lots of different things throughout the ten years but I never meant for it to be that long to release an album.
“I feel the music industry has changed so much though and I feel like I’m still kind of learning the ropes because my brain is still on how it was before.
“Now people aren’t really bothered about chart positions anymore and back in the day it was always like, ‘We’re going to promote it and then focus on that release week and then go for that chart position’ and now people are not talking about that at all.
“It’s all changed as well in the sense that people are releasing songs all the time. It’s very fast-paced and this album is actually the complete opposite of that.”
Pixie is looking forward to touring with her new album. However, the ‘Boys and Girls’ hitmaker admits that she’s not very “rock and roll” when she’s on tour.
Pixie shared: “To tour this album is definitely on the agenda. I think because this album comes out in September, the tour will probably be next year. But I’ve got my first headline show that I’ve done in years on July 11.
“I think people probably think it’s really rock and roll on tour, I’m sure it is for a lot of bands, but I was always that, even as an 18-year-old, backstage voice resting with a honey and lemon like not talking and warming up.
“It was not really rock and roll until like the last show of the tour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria had an “amazing” experience on ‘Only Murders in the Building’.
The 49-year-old actress starred alongside Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short in the fourth season of the comedy-drama show, and Eva has revealed that she loved shooting the Hulu series.
Speaking about her co-stars, Eva told E! News: “Oh my god, Selena and I had so much fun.
“My role is really funny. So we just laugh … and to be with Marty and Steve is like … I grew up with them and so, these comedy giants, I’m just like, ‘Oh my god, this is amazing!'”
Eva is, perhaps, best-known for playing Gabrielle Solis on ‘Desperate Housewives’, and she previously admitted that it “changed everything” for her.

“And he didn’t understand that I didn’t understand. The global reach of that show, at the time where there was no streaming.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner’s commitment to ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ has “gone pretty deep”.
The 69-year-old actor has committed millions of his own fortune to make the four-part Western saga, and Kevin is happy to pursue his dream, in spite of the cost.
Asked about reports that he’s mortgaged a house in order to make the series, Kevin told ‘Extra’: “More than that. It’s gone pretty deep.”
Despite this, Kevin has tried not to dwell too much on the financial aspects of the project.
The actor – who stars in and directs the series – explained: “You have to know what you’re doing and that’s what you’re doing. And so now there’s no crying, there’s no complaining. There’s just holding on to the rope.”
Kevin is happy to take the risks in order to realise his dreams.
He said: “I have dreams like anybody, and sometimes I have to let go of my dreams and sometimes I can’t let go of them, and I have to figure out what to do.
“I don’t get everything I want. I would love the idea that somebody was a big brother to me and would help me. And if they’re not, that cannot keep me from my dream. And these things can’t own me. And so, they can go at risk and they have.”
Kevin previously revealed that his life was transformed when he “listened to [his] heart”.
The actor studied at California State University, Fullerton in the 1970s, but a change in attitude triggered a dramatic change in his fortunes.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the Hollywood star explained: “The confidence came when I listened to my heart, right at the very end of college where I thought, ‘I’m not going to be worried about what people think anymore’.
“There was no guarantee of success, but a huge weight came off my shoulders. I started going into Hollywood every day and I would park my little camper next to a phone booth and kind of sleep in a fetal position. I knew no one.”

The 43-year-old actress gave birth to her third child, and her second with fiance Steve Kazee, earlier this month, and Jenna has now taken to social media to reflect on her first week with her daughter, Rhiannon.
Jenna – who also has Callum, four, with Steve and Everly, 11, with her ex-husband Channing Tatum – wrote on Instagram: “One week of bliss
“Back home and transitioning with the kids has been easier than I expected and so I’m here to remind you to always leave room in your mind for ease and lightness too [heart emoji] (sic)”
Jenna first announced the arrival of her baby girl via an Instagram post.
The actress took to social media to share a series of photos from her hospital room.

Prior to that, Jenna revealed that her daughter was looking forward to welcoming her sibling.
The actress told PEOPLE: “[Everly] is the oldest, so she gets it the most. And I think because she was still so young when Callum was born, this will be really special for her.
“She’s just going to have more responsibility, but she’s also going to have more wisdom to her.”
Jenna also suggested that she was welcoming another child at the perfect time in her life.

The 43-year-old – who played Anna Bates in the ITV period drama from 2010 to 2015 – was left heartbroken when her eight-year marriage to James Cannon ended shortly before the Covid pandemic in 2020, but in August 2023 it was revealed she was seeing a man named Mark, who is believed to be the father of her baby.
Joanne shared the news she is expecting by debuting her baby bump on the red carpet at the Into Film Awards on Tuesday (25.06.24) at the Odeon Luxe cinema in Leicester Square, London.
The actress – who was photographed cradling her growing belly – has not confirmed the identity of the father but was spotted walking hand in hand with a mystery man in the summer of 2023, prompting friends to say she was “besotted” and he was “The One”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Céline Dion has shared footage of her suffering a torturous seven-minute seizure caused by her Stiff Person Syndrome.
The 56-year-old ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer was forced to stop performing following her 2022 diagnosis of the rare condition, and has now shown the astonishingly vulnerable footage in her new documentary ‘I Am: Céline Dion’, which details her battle with the condition, and premiered on Tuesday (25.06.24) on Prime Video.
It shows the singer’s doctor conducting an evaluation as she had been experiencing spasms due to SPS, with sports medicine therapist Terrill Lobo saying: “Part of the disease is that as soon as you go into a contraction, sometimes… the signal to release it, doesn’t understand, so it ends up just staying in a contracted position.”
After he gets Céline to lie down on a massage table, the singer keeps spasming, which Terrill warns could spark “a crisis”.
The Grammy-winning entertainer is then seen going into a severe, full-blown fit as the doctor calls in another member of his medical team to bring in Valium.
Céline can be heard moaning in agony as she shakes while face down, and
When Terrill goes to lift her on her side the singer starts whimpering and crying.
One more shocking moment in the scene shows Céline wide-eyed and unable to move on her own – but still conscious.
She then starts crying as the spasm continues to wrack her body and when Terrill asks her to try and “calm down”, the singer starts sobbing more loudly.
Céline is seen getting two doses of a nasal spray before she eventually starts to come out of the seizure.
Terrill says if she hadn’t recovered she would have had to have been rushed to hospital.
Céline says after she recovers the incidents make her feel “so embarrassed”.
She adds: “I don’t know how to express it, like, it’s just, you know, like, to not have control of yourself?”
Terrill says it as most likely triggered by her being in a music studio shortly before it started, with the lights probably leading to her brain being “overstimulated.”
Céline asks when he explains it: “Well, what am I gonna do? If I can’t get stimulated by what I love, and then I’m gonna go onstage and, like, you’re gonna put the pulse oximeter on me and you’re gonna turn me on my back?”
Terrill says: “It’s scary, I know. It’s hard. This is not the end of your journey – we all know that. But this is always that step on that journey.”
Céline has insisted she is determined to get back on stage despite her SPS, the diagnosis of which forced her to postpone her Las Vegas residency in October 2021 and cancel her North American tour months later.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling sneaked away to get her breasts augmented at a strip mall plastic surgery centre when she was a teen.
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress, 51, opened up on her ‘MisSPELLING’ podcast about how her chest was “a 32B” and “maybe an A plus – or minus” when she got the procedure “to make them fuller” when she was 19.
When one of her listeners cheekily asked: “Did you get your boobs done in a van down by the river?” – referring to Chris Farley’s Matt Foley sketch on ‘Saturday Night Live’ – Tori said: “I’ve always wanted to have sex in the back of a van. Not while I get my boobs done. And not by the river. Maybe by a beautiful lake.”
Tori then delved into her multiple plastic surgeries, saying: “My boobs? Which version of them? I just got them done again, you guys. I think these aren’t the ones either.
“I think they’re okay now. My whole intention of getting them redone was to go smaller, because, looking back to the ’90s, I was like, I liked my boobs. I wish I had just kept them. Like, they’re really great.”
Tori said when she first got her breasts enhanced she was going out with a “bad boyfriend” who had a friend whose girlfriend “was a stripper and she had her boobs done”.
The erotic dancer recommended a surgery centre at a strip mall to Tori and she said: “I was so scared to tell anybody that I was like, ‘Okay.’
“And so I went to this doctor and it was in a strip mall. I’m not kidding. I can’t make this up.
“I think he was a fine doctor, it was just an outpatient surgery centre in a strip mall.
“I was 19. I was like, ‘Uh, this isn’t Beverly Hills. What’s happening?’ I was confused, and now I know, hey, you can get everything done in a strip mall?
“I was concerned, but of course I didn’t say anything, and I got them done.”
Tori added some of her famous friends cared for her during post-surgery at the time as she was too “scared” to tell her parents what she had done.
But she said about her mother then got involved: “My mom (Candy Spelling) had to come over and take care of me because, at the time, I was best friends with Carmen Electra and Alicia Silverstone, and they were taking care of me.
“I can’t even make this stuff up, you guys,” she said. “I was bandaged up and my mom came over and I was like, ‘I have to tell you something.’
Tori insisted her mum was “really cool about it”, and asked about her ankle tattoo instead – with the actress adding: “Inside, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner cast a second one of his sons in his new Western epic ‘Horizon: An American Saga’.
‘The Bodyguard’ actor, 69, has sons Hayes, 15, and Cayden, 17, as well as daughter Grace, 14, with his 50-year-old former wife Christine Baumgartner – along with children Joe, 36, and Liam, 26 with his exes Cindy Silva, 67, and 62-year-old Bridget Rooney respectively.
He has faced a backlash and accusations his kids are part of Hollywood’s growing number of “nepo babies” after he recently revealed he had “selfishly” cast his boy Hayes in his new movie.
But the actor has now told Fox News Digital he has also featured his eldest boy in the movie series.
He said: “My oldest son was in a scene in ‘Chapter Two,’ and, a small part again (like Hayes.)”
The first ‘Horizon’ installment, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is in cinemas on Friday (28.06.24), with the second part scheduled for release on August 16.
Oscar-winner Kevin did not specify the role that Joe has in the second ‘Horizon’ movie, but Hayes plays a character named Nathaniel Kittredge in the first.
The ‘Yellowstone’ star added to Fox about his kids: “They’re all supportive of each other.”
Kevin also joked he was trying to find ways to “trap” into acting, but he quickly stressed he had “not pushed” his kids to pursue careers in Hollywood.
He previously told the ‘Today’ show about how Hayes ended up playing Nathaniel Kittredge in the first of his four-part Civil War-era film without going through an audition.
Kevin said: “He’s a beautiful boy, and he’s quiet. And I have not shoved my children into the business.
“I realise there are so many young actors out there that would just kill to be in this movie, and I don’t want to take those parts away from them just ’cause I can place my own children in.”
Kevin also admitted his decision was “selfish”, but said Hayes’ role only required two weeks of filming.
He added: “But, in a sense, it was a smaller part. I selfishly wanted him with me for the week, two weeks, he was with me. And we would drive to the set every day and he would whisper.
“He didn’t have a lot of experience, but he’s really beautiful in the movie,” the “McFarland, USA.
“(His is) a really complicated scene. In the end, there’s a nobility – there’s an absolute fatalness about it. It’s what you want in a son.
“It’s what you don’t want a son to do, and at the end of the day, you’re proud that he would make that choice,.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gena Rowlands is in the “full” grip of Alzheimer’s.
The iconic actress, 94, whose best-known roles include dementia-stricken Allie in ‘The Notebook’, was revealed to be deep in the throes of the same disease by her 65-year-old filmmaker son Nick Cassavetes – who directed her in the popular 2004 weepie.
He told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday (25.06.24) while celebrating the 20th anniversary of the romantic drama: “I got my mom to play older Allie, and we spent a lot of time talking about Alzheimer’s and wanting to be authentic with it, and now, for the last five years, she’s had Alzheimer’s.
“She’s in full dementia, and it’s so crazy – we lived it, she acted it, and now it’s on us.”
Gena’s late mother Lady Rowlands died aged 95 in 1999 after suffering the degenerative disease.
The actress opened up in 2004 about how her mum’s struggle with Alzheimer’s had influenced her decision to play Allie in ‘The Notebook’, adapted from Nicholas Sparks’ debut 1996 novel.
She told O magazine: “I went through that with my mother, and if Nick hadn’t directed the film, I don’t think I would have gone for it – it’s just too hard.
“It was a tough but wonderful movie.”
Nick said the film – which also starred Ryan Gosling, 43, Rachel McAdams, 45, and the late James Garner – who was killed by a heart attack in 2014 aged 86 – “holds up pretty good” after two decades.
He added: “It’s always a shock to hear that as much time has gone by as it has, but it makes sense.
“I’m just happy that it exists. It seems to have worked, and I’m very proud of it.”
Gena is also renowned for her collaborations with her late husband, John Cassavetes – who died in 1989 aged 59 from complications linked to liver disease – including the 1974 film ‘A Woman Under the Influence’ and ‘Gloria’ six years later.
She received Oscar nominations for both roles and her last film was the 2014 comedy ‘Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks’, which co-starred 48-year-old Cheyenne Jackson.

OHMYGOSSIP — Judge Reinhold thinks his acting career was derailed by studio politics he has branded an “executive murder plot”.
The 67-year-old actor cemented his fame with his role as gormless police officer Billy Rosewood in 1984’s ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ alongside Eddie Murphy, 63, and John Ashton, 76, but said he hit a major bump when studio bosses started to get involved in killing off actor’s high salaries.
He told Vanity Fair things reached a head when he starred in 1988 body-swap comedy ‘Vice Versa’ alongside ‘The Wonder Years’ child actor Fred Savage, now 47, and said it failed at the box office due to behind-the-scenes wranglings over pay.
Judge – born Edward Ernest Reinhold Jr – said making the film was easy, but “what happened to it” after production was a travesty.
He declared: “It was basically an executive murder plot. David Puttnam, who produced ‘Chariots of Fire’, became the head of Columbia Pictures, and we all loved him because he was a creative and he had done indies.
“The downside with David was he wanted to bring the price of lead actors down, but make the backend profits real.
“I believed him. I really did. And he wasn’t, unfortunately, around long enough to prove that formula.”
Judge added the studio also decided on an ill-timed release for ‘Vice Versa’, which coincided with other 1980s body-swap comedies such as ‘Like Father Like Son’, ‘Big’ and ‘18 Again!’
He said: “What happened was Dudley Moore and Kirk Cameron’s ‘Like Father Like Son’.
“Tri-Star Pictures threw that movie into production while we were already shooting.
“And Coca-Cola owned both companies. When I started the film, I knew that that was a risk to be so closely identified with the other ones.
“I know that it was a premise that had been done before. I didn’t know about the Dudley Moore movie.
“David went public with his disdain for how high the salaries were and what he wanted to do, and he p***** a lot of people off.
“By the time we were ready to be released, he was in front of Coca-Cola saying, look, (‘Vice Versa’) is so much better.
“Just hold on the release of the Dudley Moore movie. He didn’t know, but the guillotine had been set. People didn’t like him, so they wanted him out.”
Even though he said David was a “really great guy”, he added the producer’s move to alter actors’ pay structure didn’t go down well.
He went on: “That’s why I talk about (‘Vice Versa’) in a disappointing way. “I’m proud of the film. It was my first time with my name above the title, and the studio just pulled it (from cinemas) right before Easter break, when it would’ve had a chance to perform.
“It was rough. They kind of buried it, and we watched it all go down. We’d worked really hard.”
‘Vice Versa’ earned $13.7 million at the worldwide box office on a budget of $10 million.
Judge added despite its production woes, people have rediscovered the film in recent years.
He said: “They don’t compare it to the other movies that have the same premise. “I like that, because that’s what we attempted to do, to bring a whole new freshness to that premise.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean Penn and Robin Wright took “quite a while” to repair their friendship after they divorced.
The ’21 Grams’ actor, 63, married the actress, 58, in 1996 but they broke up in 2010 after having two children together, and Sean has now spoken about how he thinks it is “much more important” to stay friendly with exes if there are kids involved.
He told the New York Times while talking about his previous marriages to Robin, Madonna and Leila George: “It turns out it’s a lot quicker to repair a friendship after divorce if there are not kids involved.
“It took Robin and I quite a while. There was a lot of drama.
“Much more important to repair it if there are kids involved, but no easy swing, right?”
Sean – who split from his ex-wife Madonna, 65, in 1989, and he and Robin had daughter Dylan Frances Penn, 33, and 30-year-old son Hopper Jack Penn.
The former couple appear to have taken until 2023 to find a firm friendship again as it was the year they were seen spending time together in Los Angeles on multiple occasions.
Robin previously told E!: “To be friends with the father of your children… I mean, it’s a gift, because we know divorce with children is one of the most difficult things in life.”
She added: “We’re always gonna be family, whether we’re together or apart, you know?
“And I think that’s beautiful, and I wish that for everybody.”
Sean’s latest wife was Australian actress Leila George, 32, who he married in 2020.
They finalised their divorce in 2022 and since then Sean has been enjoying single life – telling the New York Times he finds himself “thrilled every day”.
He went on: “If I’m going to be in a relationship, I’m still going to be free, or I’m not going to be in it, and I’m not going to be hurting.
“I don’t sense I’ll have my heart broken by romance again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Ray Cyrus is accusing his estranged wife Firerose of abuse.
The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ country singer, 62, filed for divorce in May from the musician, 37, after nearly seven months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct as reason for the split.
New court documents filed in Tennessee on Monday (24.06.24) have now shown Billy Ray claims he was “physically”, verbally and emotionally abused by his ex – who was born Johanna Rose Hodges.
He also uses the filing to deny “mind boggling” allegations it was him who was abusive to Firerose.
The papers state: “While the Plaintiff would acknowledge that he was certainly vocal, frustrated and angry with the Defendant in May 2024, it is the plaintiff who, in fact, has been abused.
“Not only verbally and emotionally by the Defendant, but PHYSICALLY abused by Defendant.”
In an affidavit, Billy Ray’s manager Scott Adkins says he witnessed the abuse toward the singer.
Billy Ray’s filing coms after Firerose filed legal papers on 14 July saying Billy Ray filed for divorce in May one day before she was set to undergo a preventative double mastectomy.
Firerose says in her complaint she was diagnosed as a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation in early 2020 and her doctors “highly recommended” she undergo the procedure and a breast reconstruction in March, with the singer scheduling her first surgery for 24 May.
Billy Ray claims Firerose has known about being a carrier for the BRCA1 gene mutation, which means she has an increased likelihood of developing breast cancer, for four years, but he was not made aware of it until after their marriage.
A representative for Firerose told People the only people backing Billy Ray’s “false claims” are “on his payroll”, making their “credibility questionable”.
They added the “audacity to question a BRCA-positive women’s decision to undergo a preventative surgery” shows the “cruel manipulation” to which Firerose was subjected by Billy Ray.
Firerose claims the singer also “continuously launched verbal assaults” at her while threatening to kick her out of their home and file for divorce.
In her complaint, she states the performer placed her into “an emotional and psychological prison”.
She adds she was “ambushed” with divorce papers on 23 May, less than a day before she was set to undergo her mastectomy.
On 13 June, Billy Ray filed an emergency motion seeking a temporary restraining order that would stop his ex from accessing his personal and business credit cards and account – alleging she spent nearly $100,000 of his income on “unauthorised” purchases after they split.
Firerose said there was “no emergency” and that she has had access to his credit card for the past two years.
