OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift got stuck on a raised platform during her show in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday night (29.06.24).
The 34-year-old pop superstar brought her ‘The Eras’ tour to the Irish capital over the weekend with dates at the Aviva Stadium, but during her second show at the venue she suffered a technical malfunction left her stranded in mid-air – and had to be rescued by a dancer.
Video footage posted online shows Taylor being left stuck after the platform she was standing on failed to retract back into the stage while she was performing her track ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’. One of her dancers – Jan Ravnik – had been standing on another platform which did go down successfully so he made his way across the stage and helped Taylor down.
The singer managed to continue with her choreography and finish the song as planned.
During the show, Taylor told the audience about writing her ‘ Folklore’ album during the COVID-19 pandemic and revealed many of the songs were inspired by imagery of Ireland.
She explained: “How I imagined the album world looking [was like] Ireland. Storytelling with lots of different characters. You guys have that on lock, too. That’s very Irish, the storytelling …
“‘Folklore’ in general, it just belongs in Ireland … When I was making this album, it was two days into the pandemic that I started ‘Folklore’, I wasn’t in Ireland.
“So I had to create an album where the imaginary world that I pretended to go to every single day while I was writing it … I gotta be honest, kinda seemed like Ireland. So we’re back to where we belong!”
She also paid tribute to the host country by performing in a sparkly orange crop top and green skirt – the colours of the Irish flag.
Taylor previously revealed she’d been given a special welcome from Irish rockers U2 who sent her flowers and a sweet note ahead of her gigs in Dublin.
The note reads: “Dear Taylor, welcome back to our hometown … leave some of it standing?!!!!”
It was signed: “Your Irish fan club, Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry.”
Taylor posted a picture of the gift on Instagram and wrote:”Already feeling that Irish hospitality!! @u2, thanks for always being the classiest and coolest.”

The Oscar-winner’s girl, 33, chose the star’s 75th birthday weekend to reveal her sexuality and confirm the identity of her girlfriend as producer Anna Blundell.
Louisa posted a carousel of images on her social media a day after Meryl turned 75 on Saturday (22.06.24) that included images of her with Anna looking cosy together.
She captioned the series of photos – which included one of the pair with their faces close together in moody red lighting and another of them smiling in a lift: “Blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb (flame and Pride flag emojis.)”
Louisa included in her carousel a headline from an online article that said: “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.”

Louisa graduated from the Yale School of Drama with a Master of Fine Arts in acting and is the youngest child of Meryl and her estranged husband Don Gummer.
The pair also have son Henry Wolfe Gummer, 44, daughter Mamie Gummer, 40, and 38-year-old daughter Grace Gummer – and are grandparents to five grandchildren.
It was revealed in October 2023 the couple – who got hitched in September 1978 – had been quietly separated for more than six years.

The Atomic Kitten singer, 43, last year told fans she had got secretly married but until now has kept her partner’s identity quiet and not revealed his face to the world on social media – only posting an image of her hugging him with his back to the camera to announce they had got hitched.
But on Tuesday (25.06.25), to mark their one-year wedding anniversary, she revealed her husband was Peter Cho.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa was reportedly hit with a security scare after a TikTokker trespassed into her Glastonbury festival rehearsal space.
The ‘One Kiss’ singer, 28, is said to have been preparing to put on a headline show at the Pyramid Stage in Worthy Farm, Somerset, on Friday (28.06.24) night and has been holed up for the last few days at a location in Birmingham preparing for the show.
According to The Sun, a “TikTok terroriser” tried to get into the space, where Dua is said to be busy working out routines with backing dancers.
The newspaper said insiders branded the individual “a total nuisance” when they tried to stroll into the rehearsal space while filming their trespassing.
It added the influencer later shared the clip on social media, but said it was not identifying the individual to avoid giving them publicity.
The Sun also reported the set was put on lockdown as the trespasser was told to “clear off”.
A source said: “Dua has been working so hard for the past few days to perfect her set for Glastonbury.
“Her team saw off this person when they arrived on site on Friday.
“They made a total prat of themselves by trying to film and it was all rather embarrassing.
“Some of Dua’s team spoke to them and asked them to clear off. She was inside so luckily missed all the hullabaloo.
“Nothing is going to knock her off course this weekend. Dua can’t wait to show Glastonbury what she has been working on.”
Dua has said she dreamed of headlining Glastonbury while she was writing her first album.
She is topping the bill of the Worthy Farm festival alongside Coldplay and SZA, 34, and told the ‘Dish’ podcast it was on her wish list in 2017 as part of her obsession with “dream boards” and “manifestation”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Padalecki suffered with “dramatic suicidal ideation” due to the pitfalls of Hollywood.
The former ‘Gilmore Girls’ actor has revealed he checked himself into a clinic to get treatment in 2015 after struggling with his mental health.
Appearing on Tommy DiDario’s ‘I’ve Never Said This Before’ podcast, he said in a clip shared by People: “I had a really low moment.
“I was letting my thoughts take over and going to places of dramatic suicidal ideation. I called my wife and she said, ‘Get home.’
“And so, I got home, went to a clinic for a couple weeks and looked into it and haven’t been suicidal since — not for a moment.”
The 41-year-old star was finding it difficult to cope with being in the public eye and projecting an image of what people wanted him to be.
He explained: “I needed a full reset. I had spent 15 years in this industry.
“You go to an audition or on a red carpet and they don’t want, ‘Jared, how are you doing today?’ ‘Oh today was rough, I didn’t sleep.’ They want, ‘Oh it’s great! Excited to be here!’
“So I had done that for so long, trying to focus on what’s best for the person who’s talking to me as opposed to just being honest.”
Jared pointed out it isn’t “shameful” to get help, and compared the situation to having a “surgeon” operate for physical health issues.
He added: “I don’t wear it as a scarlet letter. It’s not like I’m shameful like, ‘Hey, I see a therapist, I’ve been to a clinic’.
“I wear it proudly. I put it on my face and tell everybody. If you’re not in a situation where you need that degree of help then don’t seek it.
“I needed a surgeon — not literally — but I needed it and here I am.”
Jared still has to deal with “highs and lows”, and he teared up in the interview as he reflected on news his crime drama series ‘Walker’ had been cancelled ahead of the fourth season finale last month.
He said: “Today’s a hard day. It’s been a hard month since we found out, but I’m in a great place with my wife, our children, my friends, my family. Seek help, open up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty is scared as she prepares for the “unknown” of a new round of chemotherapy.
The 53-year-old star has opened up on her treatment for stage 4 breast cancer, and she admitted it feels “very real” as she finds herself not knowing “if it’s gonna be three months” or something more.
Speaking on her own ‘Let’s Be Clear’ podcast, she said: “It becomes very real in an incredibly different way, because I have no idea how long I’m gonna be on the chemo for.
“I have no idea if it’s gonna be 3 months or if it’s gonna be 6 months or if we’re gonna — if after 3 months, it’s not working, if we’re gonna change again.
“That’s not something that I can predict. It’s not something my doctors can predict. And it’s scary.”
She was expecting to start her first round of chemotherapy “probably a couple of days after” the podcast episode was released.
She added: “To just be walking into the unknown — I just feel like my life has been unknown for over a year now, between divorce and cancer.”
The ‘Charmed’ star admitted the end of her 11-year marriage of Kurt Iswarienko had been “really hard” to deal with after filing for divorce in April 2023.
She said: “Obviously, divorce is not easy, especially when you really loved someone. And I did love my husband.
“And when you get so hurt by their actions that you just feel betrayed and like a sucker, it’s really hard.”
She noted that the separation was “not the most pleasant thing” to deal with, and she may “never be ready to discuss the full details” of their breakup.
She added: “There’s so many different nuances that people will never understand. I don’t understand why people find it so fascinating.”
Instead, the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress has urged fans to give her “privacy” as she deals with both her illness and divorce, and insisted she will open up more if and when she wants to.
She explained: “I’m going through stuff. And when I wanna share it, I will share it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The late Prince, David Beckham and Green Day are among the names chosen to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has confirmed the honourees who have been whittled down for a tribute on the famous Hollywood Boulevard sidewalk.
As well as the ‘Purple Rain’ hitmaker – who died aged 57 in 2016 – and the 49-year-old British football legend and the American punk rock trio (Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt), actress Jane Fonda, 86, and actor Alan Cumming, 58, are among the selections for next year.
The motion picture list also includes John Carpenter, Jessica Chastain, Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Emilio Estevez, Colin Farrell, Nia Long, Lisa LIu, Glynn Turman, and stunt woman Toni Vaz, who is 101 years old.
The television stars are as follows: Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Sherri Shepherd, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace, and ‘South Park’ creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who will have a joint ceremony.
As well as Prince being posthumously honoured, Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban and WAR are the other music honourees.
Commerce Chairman Peter Roth commented: “Each honouree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields.”
Whilst the selection has been chosen, the honourees have two years to book their induction ceremony, otherwise it will expire.

The Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs player, both 34, have been dating for almost a year now, and the NFL player has spilled on what attracted him to the ‘Fortnight’ singer in the first place, including the way she never takes the spotlight from him when she attends his big games.

The former couple – who share son Landon, 20, and daughter Alabama, 18, together – were married from 2004 to 2008 but Shanna admitted they are no longer on speaking terms, although she hopes that will change in the future.
Shanna, 49, told PEOPLE: “We don’t speak anymore. I don’t have a relationship with Travis, but I think that’s OK. I don’t feel like it’ll be like that forever, but I feel like right now — I think that’s where we are at in our evolution, and maybe in the future, it’ll change.”

The 69-year-old actor admitted the dating show franchise – which follows singletons on looking for romance – is impossible to avoid, and he joked he has “a little experience” with the premise of the series and its spin-offs.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “You cannot not bump into that show. Even if you think you’re going to bypass it sometimes, you just stop and look and wonder.

The 53-year-old actor was seriously injured in a snowplough accident in January 2023, and Jeremy now admits that it’s changed the face of his career.
The Hollywood star – who is, perhaps, best-known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – said on the ‘Smartless’ podcast: “I just don’t have the energy for it. I don’t have the fuel.
“I have so much fuel to put into this reality, this body, all this stuff. I can’t just go play make-believe right now. Because that takes a lot of time to get right here every day just so I can have a positive thought, so I can progress, so I can always keep growing.”
Jeremy returned to acting to shoot season three of ‘Mayor of Kingstown’, the crime thriller TV series.
And the actor suggested that it was the ideal way to make his return to work.
Jeremy – who plays Michael ‘Mike’ McLusky, the show’s central character – explained: “I still struggle with it sometimes to, like, I don’t take it super seriously. I’m in a character that I can do very well and I know the show very well, so it was easy for me to kind of slide back into it.
“But if it was a very challenging role, I couldn’t have taken it. Not challenging in the sense that – because the show’s challenging, but it’s if I had to go play Dahmer or something, something so far from me.”
Meanwhile, Jeremy previously suggested that the public see him in a different light following his accident.

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is no longer represented by the attorney who helped her out of her 13-year conservatorship.
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker hand-picked lawyer Mathew Rosengart in July 2021 as she looked to bring an end to the conservatorship, which he achieved in just four months when Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny granted the petition in November 2021.
He remained Britney’s attorney over the past three years to tie up legal loose ends, but he has now confirmed he isn’t representing her anymore.
In a statement, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “It has been an honour to serve as Britney’s litigator, to work with her to achieve her goals in obtaining the court-ordered suspension of her former conservator, followed by restoring her fundamental rights and civil liberties, while continuing to protect her and more recently to extricate her from all outstanding litigation and the byzantine probate court proceedings.
“As I’ve always said, the credit goes to Britney.”
In a previous statement in April, he explained that there is no active litigation at this time.
He said: “As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter.”
Last month, the 42-year-old singer heaped praise on the former federal prosecutor for helping her through a chaotic night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, which left her with a twisted ankle.
Sharing a photo of him on Instagram, she wrote at the time: “This man is wonderful! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew!”
In response Mathew admitted he was “very flattered” by the sentiment.

The 43-year-old star has been open about undergoing the procedure earlier this month to fix damage caused by her past drug abuse, and she has since been told by doctors that she has calcified bones, which is the accumulation of calcium salts in a body issue.
Writing in her latest OK! magazine column, she said: “During my post-op, my surgeon, Dr Raghavan, said they struggled to get the cartilage during the operation because he’d never seen anyone at my age with such an advanced stage of calcified bones.”
Kerry admitted she was immediately concerned when she heard the doctor mention “advanced stage”, but her fears were quickly laid to rest.
She added: “When he said the words ‘advanced stage’ I s*** myself and the blood drained from my face, because that’s usually what you hear when it’s something serious like cancer, so I got worried, but it wasn’t.
“It’s just something I get pain medication for.”
Kerry previously revealed she hopes the surgery will close the chapter on the drug abuse in her past and allow her to move on with her life.
In a post on Instagram after the op, she wrote: “Even thou [sic] it’s been almost 15 years since those awful dark days and even thou that chapter of my life is well and truly closed it’s hard not to hang on to those negative unnecessary thoughts of shame, guilt, embarrassment, also desperation, loneliness, heartbreak.
“But also strength, resilience, determination and forgiveness! Forgiving yourself is probably the most hardest of them all.
“I really hope my mistakes can become lessons for others in their hour of desperation to give you hope and inspiration never to give up on yourself.”

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star has hit out at the film industry and claimed it’s not as “liberal” or “progressive” as people think from the outside.
She told Grazia magazine: “You know, people think Hollywood is a liberal, progressive industry, but it’s not.
“It would be great to have gender equity in all positions, we just don’t. We have fewer female directors and fewer Latinos in front of the camera than we did a couple of years ago.
“So we’re actually going in the wrong direction, even though the perception is that we’re doing so great.”
The 49-year-old actress and producer explained how she wants to use her platform to tell stories “with purpose” while bringing about equality through her own movies.
She said: “I like producing with purpose. I want to tell stories for my Latine community. We have a lot of heroes, things to say, an amazing talent pool of storytellers.
“It’s refreshing and innovative – in an industry that keeps going to the same writers and creators for the same stories – to have a different perspective and point of view, because it changes everything, makes it more interesting, more relevant.”
Eva also opened up on how becoming a first time mother to her six-year-old son has impacted the projects she takes on.
She added: “People always think it’s so hard for me balancing my career and being a mother but it’s actually a lot easier.
“Because I say no to a lot more things than I used to. If something takes away my time from him then it’s an easy no. He’s simplified my life.”
Eva recently celebrated her son’s birthday with a Pixar party, and her boy “loved” seeing the Disney studio’s latest animated movie.
She told E! News: “We were in Spain, that’s where we live, and we did an ‘Inside Out’ 2 party. He loved it!
“So we’ve contributed to the $500 million box office that is ‘Inside Out 2.'”
And she joked that she could have a young actor or singer on her hands, given her son is showing early signs of a knack for music.
She added: “He’s into music, and so he loves Spotify and he’ll make playlists – and he makes really good playlists!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Murphy thinks ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ marked a turning point for the movie business.
The 63-year-old actor played Axel Foley, a street-smart detective, in the 1984 action comedy film, and Eddie believes the movie was a landmark moment for Hollywood.
Speaking to ‘Extra’, Eddie explained: “Before ‘Beverly Hills Cop’, there had never been a movie that starred a black man, black person, that was successful all around the world. Even still, to this day, when black folks, we, make movies, most of the time they work in the States and outside of the country they don’t work.”
Eddie suggested that his success has paved the way for the likes of Will Smith and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The comedian-turned-actor said: “‘Beverly Hills Cop’ started it, all around the world – that’s where you get Will and The Rock, they do it now, but ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ is the first one that did it.”
Eddie has enjoyed huge successes during his career. However, whenever he travels overseas, he’s still best-known for playing Axel in the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ films.
The actor – who has reprised the role for ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ – recently told ‘Today’: “Beverly Hills Cop’ was my first movie that I’m the lead in. If I travel overseas they call me Axel Foley.”
Eddie hailed Axel as an “everyman” and he believes that fans love the relatable personality of his on-screen character.
The movie star – who enjoyed huge success as a stand-up comedian, before he switched his focus towards acting – said: “Axel is an everyman. He’s not a superhero or a super-cop, he’s the everyman that rises to the occasion. I think that’s why people like it. And more than anything, he’s funny.”
