OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hanks’ son is slamming bigots who have “twisted” the meaning of his “white boy summer” phrase.
The 67-year-old ‘Forrest Gump’ actor’s boy Chet Hanks, 33, used the term in an Instagram post in May in which he said summer 2024 was a “white boy summer” in a post that said: “I have consulted with the heavens, felt a westward breeze, and walked outside of a strip club and saw my shadow… this will be a #WBS #iHaveSpoken (white church emoji.)”
Chet also released his song ‘White Boy Summer’ in 2021 after being inspired by Megan Thee Stallion’s song ‘Hot Girl Summer’.
But he has now slammed neo-Nazis for co-opting it in a furious Instagram post in which he raged: “White boy summer was created to be fun, playful, and a celebration of fly white boys who love beautiful queens of every race.
“Anything else that it has been twisted into to support any kind of hate or bigotry against any group of people is deplorable and I condemn it.
“I hope that we all can spread love to each other and treat each other with kindness and dignity.”
Chet hit out after the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism warned the “white boy summer” phrase has been “co-opted by far-right extremists to promote hate and bigotry”.
It added: “The far right is adept at bringing their hateful ideologies into the mainstream, especially through the use of social media, and the already-viral ‘White Boy Summer’ has proved to be the perfect segue for them to spread their bigotry to a wider audience.”
Chet’s ‘White Boy Summer’ song includes the lyrics: “I met a bad little shawty at a party dance, Gettin’ to the bag like it was her only chance, Rich b****, known to run up them band, Said f*** it, then she went and made an OnlyFans, uh Hot boy, white boy summer.”
He has previously defended the tune after he was hit by huge backlash over it on social media.
Chet said online in 2021: “I just got this feeling man, that this summer is, it’s about to be a white boy summer. Take it how you want.
“I’m not talking about Trump, NASCAR type white. I’m talking about, you know, me, (the rapper) Jon B, Jack Harlow type white boy summer.
“Let me know if you guys can vibe with that and get ready, ’cuz I am.”

The ‘Bad Moms’ actress, 52, announced in August 2021 she had been diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system or brain and spinal cord and has now shared some of her frankest updates yet on the devastating and debilitating impact of the disease on every aspect of her life.
She said on the latest episode of her and actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s ‘Messy’ podcast: “(Shaving is difficult) when your stomach is as big as mine… because you have to lift it up and then get in … you know what I mean?
“You’re one-handing and you’re trying to stand and you’re falling over in the shower.
“I know people with MS can relate to this. You can’t get in there, get your leg up and then move your big belly up to see it.”
‘The Sopranos’ star Jamie, 43, who was diagnosed with MS when she was 20, added: “You have to sit on the floor. You gotta literally sit on the floor of your shower and contort yourself in strange ways.”
Christina recently told how she uses humour as a way of deflecting from the pain of her disease.
She said on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ in December: “My humour shield keeps me OK, but of course, down on the insides, you feel the things and I do it to kind of deflect and then also make people not be scared to be around me.
“You know, when people see me now as a disabled person, I want them to feel comfortable. That we can laugh about it.”
Christina’s podcast admissions come after she shared her bucket list on X.
She said: “There are things I want to do with the days I have left in life.
“I want to work with Shirley MacLaine. And do shots with Cher! And yes my days are so big. Just saying.”
The ‘Married… with Children’ actress told in November 2022 how she had put on 40lbs and could not walk without a cane due to the disease.

The former footballer, 49, got hitched to 50-year-old Spice Girls singer-turned fashion designer – with whom he has four children – on 4 July, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland in a ceremony that cost them almost £1 million.
To mark a quarter of a century since they said “I do”, the pair slipped back into their matching purple looks – with David seen in an Instagram Story video posted on Victoria’s account fighting to fit into his old outfit, with his waistcoat appearing to tear as he gasped and his dog jumped up to his waist.

The ’12 Years a Slave’ actress, 41, was handed the trophy for best supporting actress for her role in Sir Steve McQueen’s 2013 19th century-set slavery shocker, said she was left feeling like she could never fail in her acting career after getting accolade.
She told People: “It definitely put the pressure on. It was my first movie, and now I had received what is considered the pinnacle of one’s achievement as an actor.
“So there I was, like, ‘Okay, what happens now? I can’t afford to fail’.”
When asked to detail the worst career advice she had ever received, Lupita added: “That I needed to seize the day and do bigger. That the next thing after ‘12 Years a Slave’ needed to be a lead role in a blockbuster movie.
“(But) it wasn’t about the size of the role, it’s about the quality of the role, at least for me.”
Lupita also said she was “really set straight” about her ambitions after talking with fellow Oscar-winner and acting veteran Dame Emma Thompson, 65.

The mother-of-four reality TV veteran, 45, said she had a potentially deadly encounter and “traumatising” encounter with the creature when she was in college.
She recalled the nasty incident on the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’ while talking with her best friend Simon Huck, who was seen interviewing her in Target as she promotes the in-store launch of Lemme, her line of all-natural supplements.
He asked her: “What’s a crazy fact about you that I don’t know?”
Kourtney replied: “I was stung by a scorpion. Did you know that?”
Simon replies: “No! When?”, with Kourtney adding: “In college – I was cleaning my bikini bottoms that were hanging in the shower and a scorpion was in there. And it stung my finger.
“It was traumatising.
“I had to go to the hospital. If you’re allergic to a scorpion, they inject you with goat’s blood.”
Kourtney started earning her bachelor’s degree in 1998 at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and later transferred to the University of Arizona, where she graduated in 2002 with a major in theatre arts and a minor in Spanish.
Scorpions are native to both Texas and Arizona, with the latter home to the bark scorpion – the only North American species of it that is dangerous to humans.
Poison Control Centres in Arizona receive around 20,000 calls a year concerning scorpion stings.
Kourtney’s reference to goat’s blood wasn’t quite accurate, but the blood of goats, and other animals such as horses and sheep, are often used to create anti-venom serums against scorpion bites.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pregnant Mandy Moore is battling a skin condition she says is the “pits” as she awaits the arrival of her third child.
The 40-year-old ‘This is Us’ actress – who has sons August, three, and 19-month-old Oscar with her 38-year-old actor husband Taylor Goldsmith – has told fans she has melasma, after announcing in May she is going to be a mother again.
She said in an Instagram post that showed her with a skin device: “Pregnancy melasma is the pits.”
The gadget she was using in the photo was a Lyma Laser, billed as giving “unrivalled results” on “signs of aging, wrinkles, rosacea, pigmentation, skin elasticity and scarring”, according to its makers.
Mandy added in her update about her condition: “I heard @lymalife can help.”
Experts say melasma is a harmless skin condition that causes brown or blue-grey patches or freckles on the body, which most commonly appear on people’s cheeks, nose, chin, upper lip and forehead.
It is common among pregnant women.
Announcing her third pregnancy on Instagram in May, Mandy said in a joint post with her husband: “Sometimes life imitates art. The third in our own Big Three coming soon.”
Mandy was referring to the three children her character has in ‘This is Us’.
She recently told People her latest pregnancy is different from her previous two as she is “chasing two wild toddlers” around at the same time.

An insider told The Sun: “Punters at the Pelican couldn’t believe their eyes when Posh and Becks walked in.
“They were really low key and were with their extended family and some friends.
“It was a really celebratory mood and they had wine and beers at their table as well as a slap-up dinner.
“Even though they’ve been married for 25 years, you can see that they’re still mad for each other.

The former Oasis songwriter, 57, is a regular at the event in Worthy Farm, Somerset, and partied there over the weekend as headliners including Coldplay took to the Pyramid Stage and artists made a string of political statements.
Noel ranted on his friend Matt Morgan’s Patreon podcast after getting back home from the festival: “Don’t get me wrong, I f****** love Glastonbury.
“I think it’s one of the most important things. In fact it’s probably the best f****** thing about Britain apart from the Premier League.
“It’s getting a bit woke now, that place, and a bit kind of preachy and a bit virtue-signalling.

“What’s the problem with that? I haven’t got a problem with it.
“I guess if you’re 18 and you’re middle class you might have a problem with it.

The 51-year-old actress wrote, directed and stars in new movie ‘Fresh Kills’ and revealed she was so passionate about telling the story that she “produced it and paid for most of” it herself.
Speaking on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’, she said: “I mortgaged my home. No one wanted to make it. I couldn’t even get people to read it. And then when [they] did read it, it was like, ‘We’ll give you $5 million if you cast it with a big-name man. Because females don’t sell movies.’”
So Jennifer decided to approach her husband Jesper Vesterstrøm with a radical idea.
She said: “I went to my nice husband and was like, ‘Hey, I got an idea. What do you think about mortgaging the house?’ I do believe, if you don’t bet on yourself, who is going to bet on you?”
She added: “‘Fresh Kills’ is the first film in the mafia genre where we’re seeing the point of view from the women. [I was inspired by seeing] “young women really violently angry.
“I saw, it’s really more about choice. I kept going back to [the script] when I would hit roadblocks in either my career or my life and think, ‘That’s where that rage came from.’ It’s about the boxes we’re put in and they didn’t have a choice.”
Meanwhile, previously revealed her career was nearly cut short by a “Harvey Weinstein-esque person”.
The star did not name the man, but branded him a “notorious” and “brutal” producer and accused him of spreading lies about her as part of a mission to derail her path to fame when she was only 26.
She told the ‘She Pivots’ podcast: “He fired me for no reason. He wanted someone else and he got her.”
Jennifer also told the show’s lawyer host Emily Tisch Sussman the producer discouraged others who wanted to hire her, and added about his lies: “He said I was a drug addict – (that) never happened.
“(He) had the power and used it to completely end a young girl’s career at 26 years old.”
Jennifer added that without the hard time she endured at the hands of the producer early in her career she may not have achieved the feat of writing and directing ‘Fresh Kills’.
Referring to her 26-year-old self, she added the project “really was” dedicated “to that kid”.
She added: “It was a hard time. But it was also a beautiful time. Because if I wasn’t that kid, I would have never been this woman.
“And I’m very proud of who I am and very proud of what I’ve done.
“I know for a fact that if that didn’t happen with that producer and my road had been easier, I would have never written and directed what I just did.
“I gave her her career back in the way that she could do it. Not the way someone else told me I could do it. I needed to right the wrong again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran will spend the rest of the year helping school music schemes.
The ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker is taking a break from recording his own songs to spend several months helping to improve funding for lessons in schools after previously donating generously to improve the music offering at his former school, Thomas Mills High in Framlingham, Suffolk.
He said: “I started doing that in the county I’m from, and we’ve just now changed to doing it nationwide.
“I’m now visiting more high schools that really need music funding and you can see what a difference it makes.”
The 33-year-old singer is keen to help because of his own experiences at school.
He added: “I’m not an academic person – in the real world I would be viewed as stupid.
“But I excelled at music and therefore people think I’m good at something.
“I found it massively helpful to be at a state-funded school that really encouraged that.
“They’ve basically cut funding for that in England so I’m doing what I can to get funding for it.
“The new government will be better at it, I think.”
Earlier this year, a report from Ed’s charity, The Framlingham Foundation, revealed he had donated £1 million to the art department at his old school.
The grant aims to provide students with new learning resources, as well as a “new Expressive Arts course in Year 8 introduced this year” and follows a similar sum donated by the ‘Bad Habits’ singer to the school’s music offering in 2022.
Nikki Scholl, head of art at the school, told the Daily Star newspaper: “At a time when music and the arts are recognised as being so vital in pupils’ wellbeing… this school is very well placed to support pupils’ artistic development and wellbeing. Thank you.”
Ed has also previously offered financial assistance for photography and computer studies at his old school, as well as giving music equipment to a primary school and funding bursaries for families who cannot afford fees.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have branded a stylist “evil” after she slammed Olivia’s wedding look.
The 32-year-old model and her NFL star partner wed in her home state of Rhode Island over the weekend and Olivia chose a modest, long-sleeve crepe crew neck Dolce and Gabbana ballgown because she didn’t want “to exude sex”.
However, she and her husband were outraged when stylist Kennedy Bingham described the look as “nothing” and “the absence of personality” on social media.
Christian, 28, commented: “What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does.”
And, Olivia wrote: “Wow what an absolutely evil person you are, I hope no one ever tears you apart in this way because it’s extremely hurtful. I love this dress and it was everything I ever wanted and more.”
Bingham admitted she was puzzled by Olivia’s insistence on a conservative dress and added the “way that she was talking about this went beyond just wanting something modest for herself and pushing this idea of what she thinks all brides should look like”.
She explained: “It has been documented that it does not matter what women wear; they will be sexualised if someone wants to sexualize them.”
Bingham also hit out at Olivia for choosing controversial designers Dolce and Gabbana to make her dress.
Olivia previously revealed she chose the modest gown because she wanted it to highlight the seriousness of her commitment to Christian.
She explained: “I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form. I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.
“It was exactly the same as the original sketch. This is the first, last, and only wedding dress I tried on.
“When I think about Christian and what he loves and the moments that he thinks that I’m most beautiful, it’s absolutely in something like this: timeless, covered, and elegant.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Kloots lost her “femininity” while grieving her husband.
Amanda, 42, lost her spouse Nick Cordero in July 2020 from COVID-related complications and she admitted that she felt she lost part of herself during the grieving process.
Speaking on the ‘Oldish’ podcast, Amanda – who welcomed son Elvis, now five, with Nick in 2019, explained: “For instance, after a while I didn’t feel feminine anymore. Because I didn’t have a man that was kissing me, hugging me, telling me I’m pretty. Like, just coming around me in the kitchen and like, you know, grabbing my waist.
“I lost feeling sexy… and then you’re a mom on top of that.
“I had to see that, like, grief took that from me, took away that feeling, and I had to go find out how I could figure that out.”
And Amanda – who was previously a Radio City Rockette and Broadway dancer – turned to dance to help her.
She said: “I go to this sexy dance heels class every Monday night. Literally, it just made me find sexiness again.
“It made me feel like I was a woman again. And it made me feel okay with, like, touching myself again and looking in the mirror and being like, ‘Oh, yeah, like, I’m hot. I’m cute. Yeah. I got this’. I lost that.
“[I had to learn how to] heal all these different parts. I think that’s a common … you don’t realize that that’s a part of healing, that you are gonna have to just keep doing these leaps.
“I had to tackle life in so many different directions in order to keep moving forward. It can’t just be one thing.”
One year after Nick died, Amanda revealed she had started dating again but admitted it was difficult.
Speaking on ‘The Talk’, she said: ‘I just started dating again and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time. And it’s quite terrifying and really out of your element, and it’s just hard. It is hard.
“It’s all wonderful. It’s wonderful people I’m meeting, and it’s been a great process so far. But I’ll just say it’s very hard without getting into too many details.”
