OHMYGOSSIP — Sophia Bush has thanked her girlfriend Ashlyn Harris for “putting [her] back together”.
The former ‘One Tree Hill’ star turned 42 on Monday (08.07.24) and posted an emotional tribute to her 38-year-old soccer player lover and recalled how they found love in the “most unexpected place” – and she will never get over “the gift of it”.
Ashlyn gushed on Instagram: “You are such a gift in this world.
“To see you shine and happy fills us all up. I love your heart Soph… I love everything about you. Happy born day baby.”
Sophia posted: “Last year I got free.
“This year I found the very best love in the very most unexpected place.
“I may never get over the gift of it.
“Thank you for putting me back together. For making my second birthday even better than my first. And for reminding me what the sound of my unbridled laughter sounds like. You are magic. You are my best present.”
Sophia revealed in April that she identifies as queer and confirmed her relationship.
She discussed her relationship in an emotional essay for America’s Glamour magazine earlier this year, in which she told how she fell for Ashlyn while the ex-US Women’s International Soccer Team player was dealing with her split from her fellow footballer wife, Ali Krieger.
Sophia said: “I didn’t expect to find love in this support system. I don’t know how else to say it other than: I didn’t see it until I saw it.
“And I think it’s very easy not to see something that’s been in front of your face for a long time when you’d never looked at it as an option and you had never been looked at as an option.”
Sophia added things soon “turned ugly” as the pair started to face allegations they had been unfaithful to their partners – which Ashlyn strongly denied.
She said: “The idea that I left my marriage based on some hysterical rendezvous – that, to be crystal-clear, never happened – rather than having taken over a year to do the most soul crushing work of my life?
“Rather than seeing I had to be the most vulnerable I’ve ever been, on a public stage, despite being terrified to my core?”
Sophia and Ashlyn’s relationship was first reported in October 2023, two months after the actress filed for divorce from Grant.
They made their first public appearance as a couple in March at Sir Elton John’s annual Oscars party.

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum thinks working with Zoë Kravitz “cemented” their love for each other.
The two stars worked together on upcoming movie ‘Blink Twice’ – which is set to be released this summer – in 2022, and their romance blossomed as they got to know each other on set.
He told Extra: “Working with your partner truly is — you know, I know a lot of people are afraid of it — it was the thing that cemented us in a way.
“We started, you know, kind of grew a little bit right before we started filming, and then it’s like, ‘Okay, we’re gonna go do this.’
“It just brought us together.”
The 44-year-old actor insisted he doesn’t look at creativity as “just as movies or stories”.

The 50-year-old actress hit back at the user who commented on a video of the ‘Total Recall’ star in a pink crop top and knickers and said her buttocks have “shrunk”.
In response, Kate reminded the individual that she is currently mourning the loss of her stepfather Roy Battersby, her mother is battling cancer, and she herself recently had a stint in hospital for a torn esophagus, a flare-up from mast cell disease, and had to face “reactivated PTSD” stemming from the death of her dad Richard Beckinsale when she was a child.
As a result, Kate found it difficult to eat.
She fumed back: “No, actually, I watched my stepfather die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief…
“Quite quickly and then I was in hospital for six weeks because the grief had burned a hole in my oesophagus, which made me vomit copious amounts of blood, and I found eating very hard…
“And I just worked very very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my a**. Maybe you should worry about your own f****** a**. I suggest shoving something up it, like a large pineapple or a brick.”
Kate recently flashed her bare buttocks at a department store to help deal with the death of her cat Clive.
The ‘Jolt’ star lost her beloved pet and received some “horrific news”, so she decided to “moon” London store Harvey Nichols to try and raise her spirits.

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Wright’s cause of death was a ruptured stomach ulcer.
The BBC Radio DJ died suddenly aged 69 at a flat in central London in February, and now his death certificate has confirmed details surrounding his passing.
According to the document, the causes of death were acute peritonitis and a perforated gastric peptic ulcer.
Peritonitis is an infection of the inner lining of the abdomen, and can be caused by a burst stomach ulcer.
Authorities had previously confirmed Wright’s “unexpected” death wasn’t being treated as suspicious.
In May, Westminster Coroner’s Court said: “An inquest will not be required for Mr Wright. The coroner has now discontinued this case.”
His brother Laurence Wright – who is the boss of a firm in the health industry – previously claimed his late sibling’s poor diet and reluctance to face health issues contributed to his death.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: “He was aware that he could have looked after himself better, in his lifestyle choices. Obviously we all wish he had.
“It’s like anyone who doesn’t look after themselves over an extended period.
“The normal stuff – diet, nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress – he was a very stoic kind of guy as well so if he had something wrong with him and he had to go to have some treatment or go to the doctors, he wouldn’t talk about it.
“He was the kind of guy who would just carry on, take care of it, not talk about it, not make a big thing, that kind of stoic sort of attitude.
“That’s just how he was – that probably didn’t help really, because he wouldn’t have help or take advice necessarily.”
Wright was dropped from his BBC Radio 2 afternoon slot in 2022 – but since his death it had been reported he was part of the Beeb’s plan to launch four new stations on the airwaves.
One of the four new channels will be a BBC Radio 2 spin-off station, and, according to The Sun, Steve was set to be hosting a new version of his ‘Sunday Love Songs’ show.
News of his death was included in a 5pm bulletin on Sara Cox’s BBC Radio 2 show at the time, prompting the presenter to choke back tears before she paid tribute to the former host.
She told listeners: “It’s really hard to know what to say about the news of Steve Wright’s passing, except that we are all absolutely devastated and shocked and blind-sided by this news.
“Steve was an extraordinary broadcaster and a really, really kind person.
“He was witty, he was warm and he was a huge, huge part of the Radio 2 family.
“And I know my fellow DJs will be absolutely shattered too.”

The 67-year-old actor’s only child with his late wife Joan Washington, casting associate Olivia, had a civil ceremony with Florian Herbst in London on Monday (08.07.24).
The intimate nuptials were followed by a wedding breakfast at Scott’s in Mayfair and a “truly spectacular” dinner at the iconic Ritz Hotel in London.
Sharing a picture of the happy couple under an umbrella in front of the latter celebrity hot spot on the rainy day, he shared on X: “Our beloved daughter @OliviaGranted married Florian Herbst yesterday in a Civil Ceremony with only his parents and me, present. In a New Year message to his fans on his Instagram, he penned: “Thank you to all my friends and followers on social media for the incredible support and love I’ve felt, especially over the last two years, and I’ve been buoyed up and hovercrafted by your support and feedback.
“Wishing you – to every one of you – the finest health for 2024, and all good things to come.”
Richard grinned: “Yeah, baby – up, up and away.”
His clip also ended with a video of lights and a lakeside scene and was captioned: “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Pockets filled with Happiness.”
Prior to then, he vented his frustration over former friends abandoning him after Joan’s death.
He said in a conversation at The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival in October: “Subsequent to her death, I have had people cross the road rather than talk.
“Whether they think you’re going to fall apart and you’re an emotional wreck, I don’t know. But I will never speak to them again.”
He went on to recall an occasion during which a couple who’d lived near to his and Joan’s holiday home in France ignored him when he waved, saying: “As I walked towards them they both turned their heads.
“I thought, ‘(F– you.)’ I felt I was being punished because Joan had died. They had never acknowledged it. Maybe they didn’t know how to deal with it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Owens ignored the backlash after he referred to himself as “the catch” in his relationship with Simone Biles.
The 28-year-old NFL star sparked controversy in December 2023 when he admitted he didn’t know who the 27-year-old Olympian was when they first met on celebrity dating app Raya in 2020.
Speaking on ‘The Pivot’ podcast at the time, Jonathan was asked if he considered himself “the catch” in their marriage, and replied: “I always say that the men are the catch.”
Now, the athlete has insisted he “didn’t even know” about the backlash at first, as he never has notifications on for his social media pages.
He told Us Weekly magazine: “I have all my social media notifications off, so I didn’t even know for a while.
“I was actually with my mom and Simone whenever it came out, so, all the comments and everything, I just let them read it.
“I try to stay off of it, and obviously if you feel like stuff is kind of getting out of hand, that’s when you reach in and say something.”
Jonathan explained that he doesn’t response to trolls, as he feels like they’re “going to say something” either way.

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Roberts has claimed he’s “not supposed to talk about” his famous family members.
The 68-year-old actor – who has starred in the likes of ‘The Pope of Greenwich Village’, ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Babylon’ over the years – admitted he often finds it hard not to open up about his sister Julia Roberts, or his daughter Emma Roberts.
Asked about Julia, he told ‘Still Here Hollywood’ host Steve Kmetko: “You’ll have to ask her. I love my sister, but I can’t talk about her. She doesn’t wanna talk about it.”
He added: “My daughter told me also not not to talk about her, but I stumble and do. I’m not supposed to talk about either of them. But I do.”
Despite the rule – which Eric didn’t go into any further details on – he still praised his daughter when asked about his favourite performers.
He singled out last year’s movie ‘Maybe I Do’, which follows roles in the likes of ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘Scream Queens’.

He recently admitted his role as a grandad is the “best job on the planet” besides acting.

The ‘Elf’ star was registered at birth as John William Ferrell, but his parents called him Will and it took ages before people got used to calling him by their chosen moniker.
He told his ‘Anchorman’ co-star Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s ‘MeSsy’ podcast: “This is a minor thing in terms of — it’s not really even trauma — but I remember feeling so embarrassed because my real name is John, John William Ferrell, so first day of school, I’d be John. The teacher would be like ‘John Ferrell?’ and it was so embarrassing to me to have to say ‘Here, but I go by Will, I don’t go by John.'”
He continued: “It wasn’t my choice.
“My parents named [me] John, but they called me Will. I grew up as Will, but on a rule sheet, my legal name is John Ferrell.
“I don’t know why that was so embarrassing to me to have to explain ‘I’m actually Will.'”
The ‘Barbie’ actor quipped: “People are probably going to be listening to this going ‘That is the lamest thing ever.'”
Will opening up about his school days comes after he incorporated a jibe about his old college rivals into ‘Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga’.
The 56-year-old actor studied sports broadcasting at the University of Southern California (USC) but a scene in the film features a small group of Americans in Arizona State University (ASU) clothing, which the ‘Despicable Me 4’ star admitted was a deliberate taunt at the “party school”.
Asked about the scene, he told Screen Rant: “That was Pac 12 fellowship right there. That was also a perfect party school to make fun of, because at USC, we’re graduates of a fine academic institution now.
“When I was there, maybe not so much, but now it’s really hard to get into. ASU? You know, anyone can get in there.”

The 56-year-old wrestler has recalled a teenage Taylor, who is now 34, being there for his girls, Joslyn, Jaclyn and Jerlyn, after their mom, Jill Gregory, lost her battle with cancer in 2007.
He told WREG: “She’s a friend of the family, very good to my family during a very, very, dark period. My wife got sick and she passed away but Taylor was like a big sister and came over and took the girls, baking cookies, and just kinda hung out at the house, and I just can’t say enough good things about Taylor.”
He quipped about her superstardom: “I don’t know if you know this, she’s done pretty well for herself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cassie’s lawyer has hit out at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs enjoying life amid the raft of abuse allegations against the disgraced rapper.
Douglas Wigdor slammed the embattled Bad Boy Records founder, 54, who is facing a string of sexual assault and trafficking cases and was outed after CNN leaked footage of him physically assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, 37, in 2016 at a hotel.
Recently, he’s been seen going water rafting and boarding his private jet.
The attorney reacted to TMZ: “I don’t think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead.”
Combs – who had his LA mansion raided by Homeland Security – was just hit by a fresh lawsuit filed by former adult actress Adria English, who says Combs hired her to have sex with revellers at some of his parties and allegedly threatened to blackball her and her model boyfriend if she didn’t comply.
And she is “even more motivated” to get justice after seeing him having a good time despite “all the atrocities he has caused”.
Her attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd told the outlet: “After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails.
“Mrs. English and all the other Plaintiffs who have filed lawsuits throughout the country against Defendant Combs are individuals with limited resources fighting for just after being marginalised, abused and exploited by a billionaire.”
Adria added in her court papers, obtained by TMZ, she first met the rapper around 2004, when her boyfriend was auditioning for a Sean John modelling job.
She claimed in her papers her boyfriend and another model were asked to perform a sex act on Combs to get the job.
Adria – who says her adult acting name was Omunique – said her boyfriend refused, but he got a second chance when one of Combs’ associates offered him the job if he allegedly persuaded Adria to work as a “go-go dancer” at one of the rapper’s parties in the Hamptons.
She and her partner agreed, and she worked the party over Labor Day weekend in 2004, and says she then took jobs at more of Combs’ parties where she apparently had to drink alcohol laced with drugs including ecstasy and was encouraged to flirt with guests.
Adria says Combs “groomed” her into sex trafficking over time and demanded she have sex with celebrity bling designer Jacob Arabov – famed as ‘Jacob the Jeweller’.
The suit was filed by Mitchell-Kidd and Steven Metcalf and said Adria had “forced sexual intercourse” with the jeweller and was paid another $1,000 on top of what she usually got for working Diddy’s parties.
Adria says she was then “passed off” to other revellers at Combs’ parties, who allegedly also subjected her to sexual assaults.
She said she eventually escaped Combs and returned to California in 2009 – but says the rapper blackballed her and her boyfriend from entertainment circles as punishment.
Adria alleged she has suffered emotional trauma, including intimacy issues and painful memories, as a result of the alleged sex trafficking and is seeking unspecified damages.

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK star JENNIE has issued an apology after she was filmed vaping inside.
The 28-year-old K-pop star’s personal label, OA Entertainment, issued a statement after the live social media clip, posted to YouTube on July 2, was removed, insisting the star is sorry to anyone who was offended.
It read: “We sincerely apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable with Jennie’s actions in the content released on the 2nd.
“Jennie acknowledges and deeply regrets her mistake of vaping indoors and causing inconvenience to the staff. Jennie has personally apologized to all the staff on-site who may have been affected.
“We apologize to her fans who have been disappointed through this incident. We hope to prevent this from reoccurring in the future.”
Although some fans believe the footage was taken in Capri in Italy, it is against the law to smoke cigarettes or vape indoors in South Korea.
Seoul’s foreign ministry is investigating after a formal complaint was made against the star.
JENNIE previously opened up about the restrictions South Korean stars face during training periods, including having to abstain from alcohol, smoking and even getting tattoos.
She said in their 2020 Netflix documentary ‘Blackpink: Light Up the Sky’: “It’s really harsh.
“We were not allowed to drink, smoke or get a tattoo.”
The backlash comes less than a year after JENNIE launched her label, Odd Atelier.
She announced on her Instagram Story in December: “This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received.
“I’m also about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course BLACKPINK.”
On the label’s Instagram Page, she wrote: “OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is a label founded by artist JENNIE in November 2023.”
The other members of the K-pop group have launched their own firms for their solo careers.
Jisoo and Lisa officially started Blissoo and LLOUD, respectively, and Rosé agreed a new management deal with The Black Label.
This came after they decided not to not renew their solo contracts with YG Entertainment.

The 41-year-old star was married to her former ‘Flip or Flop’ co-host from 2009 until 2018 and has Taylor, 13,and eight-year-old Braydon with him but they have now both moved on to other partners and she has insisted that everyone in the situation has a positive outlook on things.
She told Us Weekly: “I feel like [Tarek and my husband Josh Hall’s relationship] gotten definitely better throughout the years. All of us are at a really good spot right now when it comes to coparenting.”
Following their split, Christina went on to have son Hudson, four, with now-ex-husband Ant Anstead whilst Tarek has 17-month-old son Tristan with his wife Heather Rae, who is best known for her appearances on the Netflix reality show ‘Selling Sunset’.
The HGTV star recently noted that with her eldest, although times can be “wild”, she “loves” getting to spend time with her at this time in her life.
She told People: “With Taylor, just having a teenager is wild. She’s just grown up so much from 12 to 13, and I just love spending time with her. I love our conversations. We’re closer than ever… I just love being her mom.”
Christina has also made it clear she is not planning to add to her brood.
An Instagram user commented underneath a series of professional black-and-white snaps of the family: “Is that baby #4 I see peeping through?”
Christina sarcastically replied: “No. It’s called not sucking in my tummy after having three kids.”
Another user wrote: “Fingers crossed that 2024 brings baby #4.”
And her husband replied: “No shot. 3 is more than enough for us. Maybe another pup though!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Kudrow was “irritated” if the ‘Friends’ studio audience laughed for too long.
The 60-year-old actress played Phoebe Buffay on the classic NBC sitcom and whilst her co-star Jennifer Aniston – who played waitress Rachel Green – recently claimed that that Lisa “hated” those who turned up to watch the taping live in LA, she has now insisted that “was not” exactly the case.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “No, that’s not exactly – no, no. It irritated me if they would laugh for too long!”
‘Friends’ ran for 10 seasons from 1994 until 2004 and generated almost $1.5 billion in revenue, and ‘The Morning Show’ star Jennifer also recalled that on the day the first episode premiered, she and Chandler Bing actor Matthew Perry – who died in October 2023 at the age of 54 – went to play a prank on their co-star Lisa, who was getting her hair coloured in a nearby salon.
Speaking during an interview with ‘Abbott Elementary’ star Quinta Brunson for Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ series, she said: “Matthew Perry and I were having lunch somewhere, and we knew Lisa was getting her hair coloured.
“So we ran into the hair salon, and I snuck up — she was in the sink — and I took the nozzle from the guy that was supposed to be doing it and just started washing her hair. It definitely flew out of control, and that was unfortunate. But the excitement we had, it feels like yesterday!”
In her new interview, Lisa confirmed that did actually happen and believes that was because Jennifer and Matthew just wanted to celebrate their new project with her.
She said: “Yes, that did really happen. And I think they were just so excited because something happened. We heard we got picked up or we heard…something happened. They just couldn’t stand that we weren’t all together so they came to where I was getting my hair done, and yeah, I think Jen did wash my hair! It was thrilling.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Cooper felt such “pressure” when she interviewed Zayn Malik.
The 29-year-old star has spoken to several A-Listers such as Miley Cyrus, Kate Hudson and Megan Fox for her ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast on Spotify but admitted that none of them were more nerve-wracking than when former One Direction singer Zayn made an appearance because she wanted to get things just right.
She told E! News: “I think there’s different levels to the intimidation or the stress. Zayn essentially coming out of retirement from doing interviews, I was putting pressure on myself to make sure that I was giving that person a really great environment to feel comfortable and to feel seen and to feel heard. And to not feel pressured into talking about things he didn’t want to talk about.”
The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer – who was in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid from 2015 until 2021 and has three-year-old Khai with her – did address topics such as his sudden departure from the boyband and how he manages to co-parent his daughter, but explained that he had taken some time out because he felt as if himself, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Lim Payne had been “overexposed” during their time as a group.
He said: “I think that’s why I’ve took the time I have to not even necessarily do interviews and do too much press exposure..
“Because I feel like we were so overexposed in the band that it takes a bit of time for you naturally to progress as a human and give something else that is interesting that you have to say.”
At the time, he noted that becoming a parent had “put colour back into [his] life” after years of suffering with anxiety.
He said: ““Since I’ve had my daughter the main thing in my life is trying to be a good example to her. That’s why I’m even doing this interview.
“I used to get a lot of anxiety around doing a conversation like this but I want her to be able to look at me and say, ‘My dad’s doing this.’
“I keep being told I’m telling dad jokes and I’m leaning into it it’s okay, it’s cool.
“People just look at me like I’m a weirdo and I’m like, ‘Well, I’m a dad now so I’m allowed to tell these jokes!’
“I think we all get to a certain point in adult life where everything sort of seems vague and grey and boring and she’s brought that colour back to my life for me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tay Dome has a “very normal” marriage to Taylor Lautner.
The 27-year-old nurse has been married to Hollywood star Taylor – who attained worldwide fame when he was cast in the ‘Twilight’ film franchise in the late 2000s – but she grew up out of the spotlight and explained that sometimes her followers have a “misconception” that her life is anything but ordinary.
Tay told People: “I didn’t grow up in the industry at all, and our day-to-day is still very normal.
“I remember I posted an Instagram Story of a bug in my laundry or something and everyone’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, you do your own laundry?’. Guys, it’s very normal here. We go to the grocery store. That would be a misconception for me, is we’re just normal. We’re just still doing the thing!”
Taylor, 32, is preparing to film a lead role in ‘The Token Groomsman’ and as such will be working away for most of the coming months, but Tay explained that they have got better at the idea of managing a long distance relationship.
She said: “I have more confidence in us this time around.
“We’re warming up to it.
“It will be a little challenging, but I have faith deep somewhere.”
Tay recently revealed that she underwent a breast cancer scare after discovering a lump when she was in the shower but everything turned out to be “clear” in the end.
Speaking on her and Taylor’s ‘The Squeeze’, she said: “I’m showering, washing my body, soaping myself up and I felt this lump on my boob.
“I kind of paused for a second and was like, ‘Wait, what?’
“(I) pressed on it again (to get a better) “feel: ‘There was this hard lump there’.
“I literally just stood in the shower and completely froze.”
He added: “I was terrified, because it’s just hard for your mind not to go to the worst place.”
Tay immediately made an appointment with her gynaecologist, who referred her to a breast centre and while there one of the specialists “did a little ultrasound” on her breast and “basically said everything was clear”.
She added she was told “sometimes these things just happen” as breast tissue “can move around” due to changes in hormones, saying about her lump: “It’s still there to this day. (It) hasn’t gone away.”
