OHMYGOSSIP — Keri Russell has claimed Disney let go of female stars on the ‘All-New Mickey Mouse Club’ when they “looked sexually active”.
The ‘Diplomat’ actress – who was a Mouseketeer between 1991 to 1994, until she was 17 – has hit out at the double standards that the guys and girls appearing on the children’s programme faced when it came to being axed from the show.
Speaking to Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his ‘Dinner’s on Me’ podcast, Keri said when asked if there was a cut-off age for young actors to be let go on the show: “It’s usually like girls who look like they were sexually active. Which, probably, I was one of the first.
“They’re like, ‘She’s out! She is out! That one is gone.’
“The boys stayed ’til they were, like, 19. I was like, ‘By the way, I’ve had sex with that person so I know that they’ve had sex.’ ”
She then jokingly added: “Pregnant Mouseketeers aren’t on the roster!”
While Keri didn’t name who she was referring to, she previously dated fellow Mouseketeer Tony Lucca in the 1990s and he, along with NSYNC’s J.C. Chasez both stayed on the show until they were 19 in 1995.
The 48-year-old actress finds it “weird” she was part of the show but hopes she avoided the “creepiest part of kid acting” because she and her co-stars were all of similar ages.
She said: “It is weird that I was on that.
“I think what’s really the creepiest part of kid acting is usually it’s one or two kids with all adults, and so that really accelerates the adult-ification of everything.
“For ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’, there were 19 of us. The adults were invisible to me.
“I think that’s what was unique. … I wasn’t completely alone with all the adults and I think that was helpful.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson is “terrified” of the annual joke swap tradition on ‘Saturday Night Live’.
The 39-year-old actress finds it “brutal” when her husband Colin Jost and his comedy partner Michael Che write offensive jokes for one another to cold read during ‘Weekend Update’, with the ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ star often the butt of the gags penned for her spouse.
Speaking on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, she said: “We need to go into witness protection after that night. Like, I am absolutely terrified we’re gonna be targeted. It’s so bad.
“I black out for that period of the night. I actually don’t remember it.”
Kelly then mentioned one of the jokes read aloud during the season 49 finale in May, in which Colin had to read: “ChatGBT has released a new voice assistant feature inspired by Scarlett Johansson’s AI character in ‘Her’. Which I’ve never bothered to watch, because without that body, what’s the point of listening.”
Scarlett covered her face as she replied: “As soon as the picture came up, I was like [screams].
“It is brutal. It is brutal. I feel like every year it gets worse. It’s just terrible.
“I mean, I really do, I actually don’t remember that segment. I fully blacked out. And they do it at Christmas, too. It’s like a little gift to each other.”
Scarlett recently hailed Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz as “the hottest couple” ever.
She sarcastically told Entertainment Tonight: “They’re just a terribly unattractive couple.”
Revealing she had just been talking about how good looking the love birds are, she added: “I was like, ‘This is the hottest couple I’ve ever seen.’ It’s absurd.”
Beyond their looks, Scarlett – who stars with Channing in ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and previously worked with Zoe on 2017’s ‘Rough Night’ – also praised the couple for beauty “inside and out”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay’s four adult children have all moved home.
The celebrity chef and his wife Tana have six children together – Megan, 26, twins Holly and Jack, 24, Tilly, 22, Oscar, five and Jesse, eight months – and Tana revealed that despite previously moving out, all of their kids now reside under the roof of their London home.
Speaking to Lorraine Candy and Trish Halpin on the ‘Postcards from Midlife’ podcast, Tana said: “They left home, and they’ve all come back. They moved out of our house three years ago to renovate.
“By the time we finished the project and moved back in three weeks ago, everyone has a bedroom again. They’ve all moved home. Holly lives in Nottingham, but she’s always coming back to London and obviously wants a bedroom with her boyfriend [swimmer Adam Peaty].”
Tana added that luckily for the whole family, baby Jesse is good at “sleeping through noise”.
She said: “Luckily when someone’s sneaking in at three in the morning [and] the dog is barking like crazy, doors are slamming, he sleeps.. They just have to revolve around him really.”
Tana, 49, revealed she is the main chef at home and revealed that surprisingly, Gordon, 57, isn’t fussy about what he eats but the older children are.
She said: “Gordon eats anything. He’s so easy to cook for. He wants the plainest most simple home cooking. They’re all so fussy. Holly won’t eat dairy at the moment. Tilly eats fish, but not meat. They never used to be like this, so the little ones are the easiest. All the kids are quite demanding, but I love it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards has opened up about her “heartbreaking” rift with Jesy Nelson.
The former bandmates have not spoken since Jesy, 33, quit Little Mix in 2020 and Perrie, 31, admitted she is devastated about the breakdown of their friendship.
She told Cosmopolitan UK: “We don’t talk, and haven’t done for a long time. It’s really sad, it’s heartbreaking. But sometimes these things happen and people decide they want to part ways, and that’s absolutely fine. I would rather it went differently, but you can’t control how things go.”
However, Perrie treasures the memories of the fun they had together over 10 years in Little Mix with bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 32, and Jade Thirlwall, 31, who Perrie is still close to.
She said: “It was the happiest time of my life. All we did was laugh together, banter together, cry together. It was so much fun. Yes we went through a lot in those 10 years, but we had each other.”
Speaking about their fun nights out after she split with Zayn Malik in 2015, she said: “In the 18 months that I was single, I made up for it. It was a really fun time. I went out all the time, I got to live selfishly, which I’d never done, and I had a sense of freedom. I needed that year to grow, learn and explore. It really made me who I am now.
“Our glam could sometimes take four hours, so our call time was 4am or 5am. I remember Jesy and I were having the best night, and kept saying, ‘We really should be getting home now.’ It was just so fun. We ended up rocking up to Sunday Brunch after a McDonald’s and we were still drunk. We were giddy and delirious.”
Perrie welcomed son Axel, with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2021, while Leigh-Anne and Andre Gray had twins just days before and Perrie admitted motherhood was one of the reasons they went on hiatus from Little Mix.
She said: “By then, it was the right time. We were older, two of us had had babies. We’d done it for so long. What I love about it is we did it because we love each other. We wanted to try different things and support each other in doing so.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Hart is being sued by a former friend for $12 million.
The ‘Get Hard’ star has been accused of breaching a 2021 written settlement agreement that called on him to publicly exonerate Jonathan ‘J.T.’ Jackson from “baseless extortion allegations” relating to the 45-year-old actor’s 2017 sex tape and cheating scandal.
Jackson was investigated after footage showing Kevin getting intimate with a woman who wasn’t his wife Eniko Parrish in his suite at Las Vegas’ Cosmopolitan hotel was made public, and after initially being charged with offences including one count each of attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter, the entire case was eventually dropped. Jackson claimed it was his former friend and his lawyers who had helped initiate both a raid on his house and subsequent charges.
He is suing for breach of written contract, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
He said in court documents obtained by ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “In the aftermath of the scandal, false extortion claims were filed against [Jackson], resulting in [Jackson] being wrongly accused.
“Although Hart did not personally accuse [Jackson] at this stage, he contributed to the initiation of these false claims.”
The documents stated Kevin “claimed to have received an extortion email” on April 27, 2018 from someone “demanding 20 bitcoins to prevent the release of the sex tape, which had already been publicly released eight months earlier…
“During [Jackson’s] arrest on April 30, 2018, a voice recording captured [a DA Investigator] specifically stating that [Jackson] was responsible for the extortion email that Hart allegedly received on April 27, 2018.
“This statement underscored the centrality of the fabricated email in justifying [Jackson’s] arrest and prosecution.”
But the former professional bowler alleged there is evidence to support the email was faked.
The court documents claimed: “Strangely, the extortion email which Hart claimed to have received and forwarded to his legal team, which subsequently forwarded to the DA’s office, lacked any forwarding headers.
“Forwarding headers are essential for verifying the chain of custody and authenticity of an email. The absence of these headers within the extortion email further undermined its credibility and strongly suggests that it was not an authentic forwarded email, but rather a document that had been purportedly created or manipulated.”
His legal team claimed a forensics expert found “that the extortion email was created in Microsoft Word 2013 on May 17, 2019, over a year after the alleged extortion attempt” which “indicates that the extortion email was not the original but rather a fabricated document.”
When it comes to the breach of written contract allegation, Jackson claimed their agreement called on his ex-pal to use “specific verbiage agreed upon by all parties to clarify [Jackson’s] innocence and remediate the reputational damage he sustained” and ” to go live and post a video on his Instagram account, using the exact wording specified in the Contract, and leave it up for at least 24 hours.”
The agreement allegedly explicitly stated Kevin promised to say on the video he posted on 27 October, 2021, that he was “proud to say that all charges against J.T. Jackson have been dropped and he is not guilty and had nothing to do with it.”
But the actor claimed the ‘Me Time’ star “chose to manipulate the narrative, shifting the focus to himself rather than vindicating [Jackson]” when “the message that Hart was required to deliver, per the Contract, was to clear [Jackson’s] name unequivocally and restore his reputation.”
Jackson has claimed his ordeal has “caused significant mental health struggles” and exacerbated his PTSD, as well as causing “lost job opportunities and a tarnished public image.”
He added he has faced “significant challenges in securing acting roles due to the shadow of the unfounded allegations, as well as difficulties in finding other employment such as rideshare and delivery jobs for UBER and LYFT, where background checks highlighted the extortion case against him.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Richie Sambora was sober both times he went to rehab.
The former Bon Jovi guitarist checked into treatment in 2007 and 2011 amid his addictions to alcohol and pain medication but he insisted he didn’t have to go through any withdrawal and “actually enjoyed” the in-patient sessions.
He told the new issue of Guitar World magazine: “I’ve been in rehab twice, and I went sober both times. I learned a lot, and listen, I’m not bulls******* you — you can ask — I became like a counsellor to people.
“I was going, ‘Hold on a minute. Let’s go see where the demons are.’”
Richie was committed to doing “the work” in rehab.
He added: “The psychiatrists and everybody were wonderful. I enjoy therapy.”
The 65-year-old musician – who has 26-year-old daughter Ava with ex-wife Heather Locklear – wanted to discuss his positive experiences after being frustrated with his depiction in Hulu docuseries ‘Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story’.
Referring to his abrupt 2013 departure from the band, he said: “One of the things… that was reflected in the documentary [was] that people thought I was, what, a drunkard? Like I didn’t show up one day because I was high? That doesn’t make any sense to anybody.”
The ‘I Pray’ rocker writes new music “every day” and has enjoyed reinventing himself away from the band.
He said: “People think I stopped working since I left Bon Jovi, but I went right back to work on solo records and the music I did with [ex-girlfriend Orianthi].
“I look at myself as a new artist. Now, other people might not — they relate to me for what I’ve done, and I love what I did with Bon Jovi.
“I’m not ever saying anything bad about that because we did a bunch of damage in this world, and we had a great time. But right now, it’s a new game.”

The 44-year-old actor praised the “normal and sweet” singer for her welcoming attitude and while he’s always been a “fan” of her music, he only realised what an “unstoppable force” the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker is when he got to see her in action on the ‘Eras’ tour.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Channing said: “I was a fan of the music, because I’ve listened to her forever, but I did not know that she such an unstoppable force.
“I kind of know her a little personally, and she’s really kind of just normal and sweet and talented.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Bailey is “absolutely in love” with her nephew Halo.
Chloe’s sister Halle, 24 and boyfriend DDG, 26, welcomed Halo together six months ago and Chloe, 26, can’t help gushing over the tot.
She told PEOPLE: “He is the most handsome baby. He is the smartest baby. And maybe I’m biased, because I’m his auntie, but I am absolutely in love.”
Chloe loves spending time with Halo and recalled a special moment recently when the whole family got together for her brother Branson’s graduation.
She said: “I was doing my makeup for my brother’s graduation, and I had my sisters with me and Halo and I had my concealer and contour on before I blended it. And he just thought it was the funniest thing. So I would keep inching closer and closer to him, and he would just laugh so hard.
“Any time like that, it just makes me so happy. I feel like I’m the best auntie in the world.”
Meanwhile, Halle recently admitted she “can’t function” unless she knows her baby boy is nearby and she took him with her when she went away to film her latest project.

Halle has loved getting used to motherhood, and some days she struggles to “believe” she helped create Halo.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooke Burke found it “shocking” and “disappointing” when she was fired from ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
The 52-year-old star landed the presenting role in season 10 but left in 2014 ahead of the 18th season of the show and though she had reached the point where she’d “had enough” of the programme, she was still stunned by her dismissal.
Speaking on ‘Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone’, Brooke hailed her presenting stint as an “amazing experience”.
She added: “It was a good ride.”
Asked how she felt about leaving the show, she laughed: “Getting fired, you mean?”
But Curtis then quizzed his guest on whether she felt it was time to go at that point and she had mixed feelings.
She said: “It’s a really good question. I probably had enough, but then when you leave something and you think you’ve had enough, you kind of, in hindsight, look back and want a little bit more. As a host, when you’re on a live show, it was a long time and I think I was ready to do other things.
“But I think it’s shocking when there’s a change in our business, just to humanise it, to be honest, to be vulnerable. I think it was really disappointing.
“I wasn’t expecting it, not that we can ever have a plan in Hollywood, ’cause you know we can’t. Things change like that for a variety of reasons.
“It was for sure time for a number of reasons on both sides, but, yeah, I think that kind of changes. It’s always a bummer.”
Brooke – who won the show in 2008 with Derek Hough – presented ‘DWTS’ with Tom Bergeron, who was fired in 2020 after 15 years at the helm, and she praised her “flawless” former co-host.
She gushed: “He was an amazing host. He was a great co-host. He’s so brilliant. So funny. so freaking smart. And I always give him credit because he was one of those men that really knows how to be a partner.
“No ego, at all. He’s flawless, in my opinion. But he always welcomed me and made space for me. And he was a great partner. And not everybody knows how to do that, especially in our town.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards often turns to Cheryl Tweedy for advice.
The 31-year-old singer knows she can always rely on Cheryl – who shot to fame as a member of Girls Aloud before embarking on a solo career – for advice about work and motherhood.
She told Cosmopolitan UK magazine: “I always go to Cheryl. I love her. My manager, who used to manage her, had a birthday party recently, and I was just letting rip (about things that had happened to me.) And Cheryl was like, ‘Yep, tell me more.’ She’s just the best.”
Perrie also gets advice from Cheryl’s friend and bandmate Kimberley Walsh.
She said: “And Kimberley lives near me, and I was like, ‘What nursery does your little boy go to? Have you started potty training him yet?’ I go to her a lot for advice.”
While Perrie turns to Cheryl and Kimberley for support, she insisted that the Little Mix group chat – with her former bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – is still her go to when she needs anything.
She said: “We still message each other in our group chat, and that’s important to me. They were like sisters for 10 years, and I looked up to them a lot. Jade and I are on the same record label, and the release dates for my second single and her first single were meant to be on the same day. So I went straight to her to ask, ‘Babe, what’s the craic? This is your moment.’ If I’m doing promo, it doesn’t seem right, so I’d rather go quiet – I didn’t want it to look like I was maliciously releasing a song on her debut. It’s important to me that we don’t have that kind of overlap.”
And Perrie admitted launching a solo career after 10 years in a band has been terrifying.
She said: “I love singing and I love making music. I’m so proud of my album, but subconsciously, it was really scary for me. I’ve had to learn to be my own support system, to find the strength and confidence from within. I’m not a naturally confident person, even though I might seem like it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadine Coyle has been forced to pull out of a festival due to “exhaustion”.
The 39-year-old singer – who has just finished the Girls Aloud tour of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland, with over 30 dates in total – has cancelled her appearance at the Kubix Festival in Sunderland over the weekend.
Kubix announced on social media: “Unfortunately, Nadine Coyle is no longer able to play Kubix due to exhaustion but we hope she gets plenty of rest and will be inviting her back to a future Festival!”
90s boyband Damage will replace Nadine on the line-up, which also includes Busted, Basshunter, and Cascada.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Nadine and her Girls Aloud bandmates are working on a one-off TV special which will document their reunion tour.
Nadine, Kimberley Walsh, 42, Cheryl, 41, and Nicola Roberts, 38, were followed by a camera crew for the tour, which was their first as a quartet without late bandmate Sarah Harding, who passed away at the age of 39 in September 2021.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “There’s a number of options on the table as to how ITV could deliver the final piece.
“Backstage footage has been captured but bosses feel there’s equal value in presenting the show in its entirety as one glossy set piece.”
Girls Aloud – who were formed in 2002 on TV talent show ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ – want the final programme to honour the memory of Sarah, who was the inspiration behind the reunion tour.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaquille O’Neal is launching a youth facility in Las Vegas.
The 52-year-old basketball legend’s Shaquille O’Neal Foundation is working with the Boys Girls Club of Southern Nevada and Communities In Schools on the upcoming 17,000-square-foot facility, which will be located on land donated by Clark County.
Revealing his philanthropy has been inspired by his mother, Dr. Lucille O’Neal, Shaquille told reporters: “I love children. I’m 52 years old, very successful, did a lot of great things. But the thing I love to do now is to make my mother proud.
“It’s just the right thing to do. There’s really no explanation. It’s what I was taught by the great Dr. Lucille O’Neal and anytime I can make her proud, I’m doing a great thing.
“When I join a community, I just try to do the right thing. For me, it’s not about publicity, it’s not about likes. This is what I was taught.”
The facility will provide safe childcare, academic and social programming, and access to technology for younger children, while it will help older patrons with career development and job hunt resources.
A message on the foundation’s website states: “The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation provides resources and opportunities for underserved youth. We team with Boys Girls Clubs and Communities in Schools, two organisations that are personally close to Shaquille, to help achieve this mission. Our work is primarily focused in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
“The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation receives funding from individual donors, partner gifts, Founders Council members, and The Event, an annual large-scale fundraising gala held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Alexander always cries during therapy.
The ‘Dizzy’ singer doesn’t hold back the tears during his counselling sessions but admitted he’s often an emotional person anyway.
Speaking during his surprise performance at Magnum’s Pleasure Pass campaign launch party in London on Thursday (11.07.24), Olly noted he turns 34 next month and asked if anyone in the intimate audience shared his zodiac sign, Cancer.
He then asked: “How many of you have been crying this month? I cried this morning. I cried in therapy.”
Olly noted some people have trouble connecting with their emotions in their therapy sessions, but it was never something he’d had a problem with as he “always” lets the tears fall.
The former Years + Years singer kicked off his set sitting at the piano for the group’s 2015 single ‘Eyes Shut’.
As he arrived on stage to cheers, he noted: “This is a different kind of set for me, taking inspiration from the Magnum flavours of course. we’re gonna start things off with a little Chill, then we’re going into Euphoria.”
Following ‘Eyes Shut’, he treated the crowd to a powerful cover of the Pet Shop Boys’ ‘It’s A Sin’, introducing two backing singers to the small stage as he rose from the piano to add some dance moves as he sang.
Other highlights from his set included rendition of ‘Starstruck’, ‘If You’re Over Me’, his Eurovision track ‘Dizzy’ and a singalong end song of Years + Years’ ‘King’, as confetti cannons exploded over the crowd.

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne can’t remember “a single thing” about the head injury that left her hospitalised.
The royal, 73, made the remark as she returned to public royal duties on Friday (12.07.24) at the RDA National Championships after she suffered her injury on 23 June at her Gatcombe Park estate, Gloucestershire.
Princess Anne sported a bruise under her left eye as she visited the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships at Hartpury University and Hartpury College – which marks a gradual return to official engagements after her hospital treatment.
It’s been reported her doctors believe her injuries were consistent with being struck by a horse.
But Helena Vega Lozano, chair of RDA UK, told the Daily Mail at the event: “It’s a huge honour for the princess to come to the RDA as her only event since the accident.
“As soon as she got out of the car she said, ‘I can’t remember a single thing about it’.
“It’s hugely motivating and inspiring to have her here.”
Princess Anne wore an olive green tweed suit and navy blue hat and gloves on her visit, which comes after she became patron of the RDA in 1971, and its president in 1986.
Her engagement was condensed, and instead of a two-hour appearance, it last just under 60 minutes.
Michael Bishop, chief executive of the RDA, said: “We’re delighted that she was able to make it. Her commitment to the RDA is really welcome and well known.
“The princess was on super form. It was lovely to see her again. She was very engaged while talking with all the volunteers and participants and there were a few quips thrown in, too.
“She was very switched on and recognised many of the volunteers because she had met them before.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood’s band The Smile have been forced to cancel the European leg of their tour after he was rushed to intensive care suffering an infection.
The musician, 52, who is also a keyboardist for the group and film score composer, was touring as part of the group – which he’s in with fellow Radiohead singer Thom Yorke, 55, as well as 33-year-old Sons of Kemet drummer Tom Skinner – when he fell severely sick.
A statement from The Smile issued on X on Friday (12.07.24) said: “A few days ago, Jonny became seriously ill from an infection that needed emergency hospital treatment, some of it in intensive care.
“Mercifully he is now out of danger and will soon return home.
“We have been instructed by the medical team in charge of Jonny’s care to cancel all engagements until he has had time to make a full recovery.
“To that end, The Smile tour of Europe in August is cancelled. Refunds for headline shows will be available from your Ticket provider.
“We all wish Jonny a speedy recovery.”
The statement was also shared by Radiohead on Instagram and on Thom’s page on the platform.
Fans flooded the comments sections of the posts saying they are desperate for Jonny to make a speedy recovery.
Radiohead formed more than three decades ago, while The Smile has released two UK top 10 albums – ‘A Light for Attracting Attention’ and ‘Wall of Eyes’.
The Smile’s sound has been compared to Radiohead, but with more influences from German experimental music and jazz.
They were next month set to play venues in Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and Poland.

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem has taken aim at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Kanye West in his new album.
The ever-controversial rapper, 51, used his latest release ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)’, which came out on Friday (12.07.24), to also have a pop at Megan Thee Stallion and others – as well as make a string of outrageous remarks about minority groups.
In a song titled ‘Fuel’, Eminem – real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III – he addresses the series of shocking allegations against Combs, 54, including sexual assault, sexual harassment and sex trafficking.
Eminem’s lyrics are too explicit to reproduce, but they tackle the video footage that recently emerged showing Combs beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Venture, 37, in a hotel in 2016.
Following Cassie’s claims of abuse against Combs, several other people have stepped forward with rape accusations and his homes were raided by the FBI as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation – although the rapper strongly denies any wrongdoing.
Eminem took aim at embattled Kanye West, 47, in a track called ‘Bad One’, in the wake of the rapper being dumped from a string of big-name brand contracts after his anti-Semitic outbursts.
His lyrics also joke about Megan Thee Stallion, 29, and Nicki Minaj, 41, with many media outlets saying the exact contents of the lyrics is too X-rated to reproduce.
He also takes digs at deaf, blind, transgender, fat, and little people – and namechecks the Alec Baldwin ‘Rust’ shooting case and Caitlyn Jenner.
