Kim Kardashian fears she’s becoming a ‘full robot’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian is worried she’s been “turning into a full robot” with “no emotion”.
The 43-year-old beauty was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016 and the trauma has left her “frozen” in knowing that staying cool saved her from being seriously hurt during the terrifying ordeal, so she wants to work through what happened with her therapist before she stops being able to express herself.
Speaking on the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’, Kim – who has four children with ex-husband Kanye West – told her sister Khloe Kardashian: “[My therapist] was like, ‘You think calm is your superpower. I think you are so desensitised from trauma that you literally are frozen in fight or flight.’
“So then she was like, ‘One time in life something happened, and you remained calm, and that worked for you. So you will always choose calm.'”
The Good American founder then insisted it didn’t take a “detective” to realise it was the Paris robbery that had had such an impact on her sister’s behaviour.
Khloe, 40, replied: “You weren’t calm before. Kim, you were a lunatic. You became calm.
“You were never calm as a teenager, in your 20s. You cried about everything. You were bratty. You threw tantrums.
“Everything stopped after you got robbed, because you stayed calm in that situation and you even said, ‘My calmness is what kept me alive.’
“That’s when it started. It doesn’t take a f****** detective to figure that one out.”
In a confessional, Kim admitted she was worried people would “take advantage” of her calm nature.
She said: “I mean, imagine you’re like, gun to your head, getting tied up, dragged across a hotel room, and the guy, I remember him telling me, ‘Just like, stay calm and you’ll live.’ And I did that.
“[It] served me well at that time, and I think it saved my life.
“But I think I’ve let it get too calm to where people could take advantage of my calmness or I’m just turning into a full robot with like, no emotion.”
Kim previously told of her fear that the robbers – who stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery – would shoot her in the back.
She said on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’: “They ask for money. I said I don’t have any money.
“They dragged me out onto the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear, like clear as day. I was kind of looking at the gun, looking down back at the stairs.
“I was like; ‘I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision. Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back? It makes me so upset to think about it. Either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator does not open in time, or the stairs are locked, then, like, I’m f*****. There’s no way out.”

Christina Hall and Tarek and Heather El Moussa to film HGTV show without Josh Hall

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Hall and Tarek and Heather El Moussa will film ‘The Flip Off’ without Josh Hall.
Exes Christina and Tarek – who share daughter Taylor, 13, and son Braydon, eight, together – had signed up for the new HGTV series with their current spouses Josh and Heather but after Josh filed for divorce this week, the show is moving ahead without him.
A source told Us Weekly: “They are in production of ‘The Flip Off’ without Josh. They’re moving forward with the show without him.”
It had previously been reported that Christina, 41, and Josh, 43, “had issues in the marriage for quite some time” before their shock split.
Although it came as a surprise to fans when Josh, filed for divorce this week, citing “irreconcilable differences”, friends told PEOPLE that all had not been well in the marriage in recent times.
Christina also filed for a dissolution of the marriage and while she too cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, the former couple disagree on the date of separation.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Christina has listed the separation date as July 7, while Josh has stated it was July 8.
Christina – who also has four-year-old Hudson with second husband Ant Antstead – is asking the court to restore her last name to Haack.
She has requested that neither party receive spousal support and has asked for Josh to pay her legal fees.
However, Josh is seeking spousal support from Christina and wants her to pay his attorney fees.

Riki Lindhome and Fred Armisen secretly wed two years ago

OHMYGOSSIP — Riki Lindhome and Fred Armisen secretly tied the knot two years ago.
The 45-year-old actress and the 57-year-old ‘SNL’ alum had been friends for over 15 years but it was only when they started filming ‘Wednesday’ together in Romania that her feelings for him changed.
However, things were complicated as Riki had decided to have a child on her own via surrogacy with a donated sperm and egg.
She told PEOPLE: “I knew that I was starting to have feelings for him, and I wanted to go on a date. That’s what I knew. So I was like, ‘Okay, let’s explore’. Then it unfolded naturally over time. I wasn’t like, ‘You’re the dad.’ I was like, ‘I want to have dinner with you.’ My thought was, ‘I want to kiss you. I want to see you.’ Then it just kept going.
“We were friends for so long that it just happened fast. We had one dinner and then it was like, ‘Oh, yeah, let’s see where this goes.’ It was surprising. I would say it was more of a shock to him. He did not see it coming at all.”
Baby Keaton was born just a few weeks after the pair started dating but Riki told Fred that she would understand if he didn’t want to be involved.
She said: “He didn’t get to meet Keaton until three weeks after he was born because he was still working. And I said, ‘All I want is the truth. If you feel in your gut that’s not for you, it doesn’t make you a jerk. I’m not mad at you’. I said, ‘I still think you’re the best. I just want you to really feel what you feel. And then be honest about it because it’s a big life-altering thing.’ And he said, ‘Okay, okay.’
“I told him, ‘So you just tell me what your heart says, and he said ‘Yes.’ It was just insta-family, basically..”
Riki moved in to Fred’s house after Keaton was born and three months later the couple got married.
She explained: “I was ready to date him, I didn’t know what it would turn into. I thought maybe I would be a single mom with a boyfriend. I didn’t know what would happen. I didn’t even know if he was interested at first — I didn’t know anything. But it was a natural evolution.
“Then we got married in a courthouse. It’s not a secret, but we didn’t really tell people. We didn’t announce it or anything. And we thought people would hear about it eventually. And that’s what happened, one friend at a time.
“I didn’t even tell my mom. I never wanted to get married. I am not a wedding person. It’s not for me. But this was just for us. We also didn’t want to hurt people’s feelings by not having a wedding — and we didn’t want to get pressured into having one. We just wanted to be like, ‘Guess what we did a few months ago?’
“The wedding was three minutes long and then we got some ice cream.”

Jason Kelce reveals if he and wife Kylie are planning more kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Kelce will let his wife Kylie decide if they want more children.
The 36-year-old NFL star already has Wyatt, four Elliotte, three, and 17-month-old Bennett with event consultant Kylie, 32, and admitted that whether they have any more children is entirely up to his wife.
He told People: “It’s not my decision. We’ve talked about, before having kids, having certain numbers but I think whatever Kylie’s comfortable with. We’ll figure it out.”
Just days ago, Kylie – who herself has become famous since her brother-in-law Travis Kelce started dating pop megastar Taylor Swift – noted that she and Jason “lucked out” in having three daughters but alluded to the possibility of having more babies as she admitted to having held onto various items of clothing in case a fourth baby were to come along.
She told The New Yorker: “We lucked out because we had three girls. We’re rotating through clothes we bought for our first daughter now to our youngest, so we have gone through a lot of hand-me-downs. Sometimes they’ll get stained or start to unravel at the edges because kids wear them a million times and you wash them a million times. The Hanna Anderson PJs last forever. We still have some packed up, just in case there ends up being a fourth. It is the best investment, and they have the best, best sales!”
And, Kylie revealed the special gift Jason got her to celebrate the births of their daughters, a Zoe Chicco necklace displaying their initials.
She called it “a reminder of our three greatest creations” and explained: “He got me the W when Wyatt was born, and I didn’t take it off for four years until I updated it with the other two kids’ initials. It’s something I wear every single day. It’s part of their Itty Bitty collection and has these tiny initials of our girls on it. I’m really into understated, dainty jewelry over big pieces.”

Marlon Wayans wants to let his kids ‘grow up in peace’ amid custody battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Marlon Wayans is determined to let his children “grow up in peace” amid his custody battle.
The 51-year-old comedian filed for joint custody of his 18-month-old daughter Axl – who he has with his former partner Brittany Moreland – after she filed a petition to obtain full legal and physical custody of the little one, but he has now insisted that he won’t speak publicly about the conflict.
He told People: “I don’t do public battles. You don’t have to be together to let your child grow up in peace. Every child deserves that.”
According to legal documents obtained by the outlet, the ‘White Chicks’ star has requested joint payment of legal fees and rebuked the idea of paying so much for such limited visitation rights.
He told The Shade Room: “All love, all God. The baby isn’t a secret. The mama has been posted. But I chose to keep the baby’s private life private.
“Ain’t nobody’s business. Social media is toxic and dangerous, and I’d like to keep her peace.
“Do you pay all that money per month and be called a ‘visitor?’ Do the math. This is delusional. I will let the lawyers and God do what they do.
“I’ll be creating art from a broken heart. I got nothing but love. Even when it’s bad, it’s good…it’s GOD..”
Meanwhile, Marlon was married to Angela Zackery – with whom he has sons Kai and Shawn -from 1992 to 2013 -but recently admitted that he never wanted to tie the knot in the first place.
He said: “I never wanted to get married. I didn’t want to get divorced.
“I don’t know if I was ready for marriage, and now I’m 51, and you get to this part in your life where you’re like, ‘Yeah, I don’t need to go to a club.'”
Marlon isn’t currently looking for a relationship or to settle down. However, he’s still open to finding love in the future.
The Hollywood star shared: “I won’t say no, put it that way. If it’s when it’s right, sure. I’m not in a rush. I think sometimes you go through these things to find you, and I know exactly who I am. You just got to find the right fit.”

Missy Elliot ‘wishes’ fans would ‘live in the moment’ at concerts rather than film on phones

OHMYGOSSIP — Missy Elliott “wishes” fans could enjoy a concert without being on their phones.
The 53-year-old rapper recalled a time when superstars would take to the stage in the years before the onset of camera phones and would prefer it these days if audience members weren’t all clamouring to record the show and just take it all in instead.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I wish people could live in the moment like how we did.”
“If you go back and you watch, like, old Janet [Jackson] performances, old Bobby Brown performances, you’re watching these people and there were no phones. So all you heard was screams, people dancing, they were in the moment.
“I wish it was [like] that, but also we’re clearly not living in that time now.”
But the ‘Work It’ hitmaker aciquesced that if she were an audience member she would feel the need to capture everything on camera because she would ultimately afraid of missing things she could see later if she recorded it.
She said: “I know me, if I was at my show, I would want to have my phone up because I would be like, ‘Oh my god, there’s stuff coming at you, I don’t want to miss this!’ So it’s like a catch-22 in a sense.”
The Grammy Award-winning star was asked about the notion of filming at once after fellow rapper Busta Rhymes flew into a rage at the crowd constantly filming his performance during his show at the Essence Festival in New Orleans on Friday (05.07.24) night.
He said: “F*** them camera phones. Let’s get back to interacting like humans. “Put them weird a** devices down. I ain’t from that era.

“Them s**** don’t control us all. F*** your phone.”
Busta was shown on footage – ironically shot by fans – pointing out individuals in the crowd and asking them to stand up for his act.
He added: “I’m gon’ point every last one of y’all out until y’all a**** is up.
“Thirty-three years of this s***. I ain’t used to n***** sitting down at my show. “I don’t give a f***. All age groups, get you’re a** up, now.”
Turning to those seated at the top of the room he continued to rant: “F*** goin’ on? Get y’all big head a**** up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has had “so many firsts” with the ‘Eras’ tour.
The 34-year-old pop megastar is currently making her way around the world as part of her mammoth global tour and took to social media on Thursday (11.07.24) evening after wrapping up her shows in the “beautiful” country but had never been to the European country before.
She wrote on Instagram: “The Eras Tour has brought so many firsts with it… for example, I’d never been to Switzerland before. This place is stunningly beautiful and I loved playing for those 2 wonderful crowds in Zurich. Pretty wild to think we only have 7 cities left on the European leg of the tour. Up next is a city I’ve been looking forward to playing for so long: Milan!! ”
So far, the ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress has performed across Europe in France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, the UK, the Netherlands and following the conclusion of the Swiss shows, she only has dates in Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria before making two extra appearances in London before going back to the US.
During her shows in Amerstam, Taylor brought her boyfriend Travis Kelce along and he was seen on a fan’s video tearing up as she performed a mash-up on stage.
She started by surprising fans by playing ‘Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)’ from her self-titled 2006 album for the first time in nearly 16 years – before launching into ‘So High School’ from her newest record ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, as well as ‘Everything Has Changed’ from her 2012 record ‘Red’.
Travis was also seen wiping tears from his eyes as Taylor sang the lines: “’Cause all I know is we said hello, And your eyes look like coming home, All I know is a simple name, And everything has changed.”
Seconds later, 28-year-old Brittany Mahomes – wife of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, also 28 – walked over to Travis to check he was alright.
But by the end of Taylor’s mash-ups Travis was smiling.

Hoda Kotb admits she only has limited ‘space’ in her life for romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Hoda Kotb only has limited “space” for her romance in her life.
The 59-year-old broadcaster split from Joel Schiffman in January 2022 after eight years in a relationship and the pair continue to co-parent their adoptive daughters Haley, seven. and four-year-old Hope together but insisted that these days she doesn’t really have the time for a full-blown dating life.
She told People: “It’s so funny because everyone’s got their skin in the game. A friend asked me, ‘What do you have room for?’ Which is a very important question to ask yourself when you’re looking for whatever it is.
“She goes, ‘Truthfully, if you could have anything, what would you have space for?’ And I said, ‘I have space for a Thursday night date.’ She says, ‘Then that’s what you should look for.’ In other words, don’t seek out.”
But ‘Today’ host admitted that while she is “totally occupied” with her role as another right now, her friend made it “clearer” to her that she could in fact enjoy some sort of romance if she were willing to utilise that limited space specifically for that.
She added: “Sometimes you’re looking for something that you don’t have space for at this point, because, you know, I’m totally occupied with my kids and running around with work and all the things. Where’s the time? But then, all of a sudden, she said that and that made it clearer to me. I’m like, ‘Oh, so that’s what I want. That’s what I want. I want a Thursday night date.’ So I do that!
“I’ve learned to just feel more comfortable in my own skin, and realized life’s about the joy.
“Life’s not about that grind. Life’s about the interactions. … I try to see life like that..”

Bette Midler reveals her dad ‘never liked’ the idea of her becoming a star

OHMYGOSSIP — Bette Midler’s dad “never liked” the idea of her becoming a star.
The 78-year-old actress has had an enormous career on stage and screen over the years and while she was determined to make it, she revealed that her father Fred – who worked at a Navy base in Hawaii as a painter and also painted houses – never really understood the world of showbusiness.
Speaking on ‘The Today Show’, she explained: “I never said ‘I’m gonna try’, I said ‘I’m going to do this’. For me, there was nothing else. I couldn’t do anything else. This was what I could do and I loved it with all my heart. And I was going to do it. My dad was a problem. My dad never liked any of it; he was a working-class guy. I loved him with all my heart and in the end, he wrote me a really nice note.”
But the ‘Hocus Pocus’ actress explained that her father’s death served as a “release” to her in the way she saw the world.
“Every kid dreams of a note at the end, and it answered everything. In a funny way, his passing released me from the cynicism that he put on me, and that was a good thing because one wants to be joyful in this life.”
The ‘Beaches’ star then noted that her mother Ruth – who worked as a seamstress and named her daughter after Golden Age screen legend Bette Davis – was far more optimistic about her Bette’s career prospects and was “thrilled” to have witnessed her achievements before her own death in 1979.
She added: “My mother was the joyous one. She saw enough of it that it thrilled her.”

Kesha opens up on decade-long legal battle with Dr. Luke: ‘I felt I’d lost the rights to myself’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha felt as if she had “lost the rights to [herself]” during her legal battle with Dr. Luke.
The 37-year-old singer recently left Kemosabe – which is distributed by RCA Records – in December, six months after her long-running legal battle with the producer came to an end but admitted that shortly after signing with him in the late 2000s she dealt with the “ugly” situation by writing hits such as ‘Tik Tok’.
Speaking during a TED Talk, she said: “I found myself in a very ugly litigation with the same person who I had signed the rights to my recorded voice to. I had lost the rights to my voice, and in that I felt as if I had lost the rights to myself.
“It was very public. It was very painful. I was very angry. So I did what I do with all my emotions, and I wrote my way through it.
“On March 6, 2024, I’ve gained back legal rights over my own voice. And with it, a newly found freedom for the first time in nearly 20 years,” she later said.
“It’s funny how you can lose the rights to your own voice, but you can never lose the rights to your truth.”
The ‘Joyride’ hitmaker- who sued Dr. Luke sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, emotional abuse, and violation of California business practices and only saw her legal battle come to an end in March 2024 – now knows that whenever she is feeling exceptionally emotional, she needs to write a song.
She said: “Songwriting is a direct line of communication with the truth. In song, you can say things you can’t say out loud to anyone else — not your friends, not your therapist, not your mom.
“When I’m feeling anything intensely, I know it’s time for me to write a song.”
Kesha and Dr. Luke, 50, had been locked in a legal dispute for years after she filed a lawsuit accusing him of drugging and raping her after a party in 2005, prompting the music executive – who denied the allegation – to file a defamation case.
But in June last year, they settled out of court after nearly 10 years, just weeks before they were set to go to trial.
The pair said in a joint statement shared on Kesha’s Instagram stories: “Kesha and Dr Luke have agreed to a resolution of the lawsuit, and have agreed to issue and post a joint statement regarding that resolution.”

Adele plotting move back to London later this year

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele is reportedly plotting a move back to England.
The ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ hitmaker has lived out in Los Angeles for two years now but is said to be planning to shift her life back to London, once her ‘Weekends with Adele’ residency in Las Vegas ends in November.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Adele is a Brit through and through and London will always be her home.
“She has spent the past couple of weeks there. It is all part of a wider return home and once her Las Vegas shows finish in November she has said she will be coming back.”
Adele has been back in the British capital enjoying the Euros and was also spotted out at a cafe.
The 36-year-old pop superstar – who has 11-year-old son Angelo with ex Simon Konecki – has only recently been renovating her Beverly Hills mansion.
The Grammy winner spent £46 million to acquire Sylvester Stallone’s pad two years ago, and she’s spent millions more renovating the property ever since.
A source told the newspaper last month: “When Adele bought the house she didn’t intend to change too much. But she has a team of Hollywood experts on board who suggested the extra floor.”
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker wants the property to be “her forever home”.
The insider shared: “The house will be absolutely gigantic by the time it’s done. But it is looking incredible and she thinks it’s worthwhile. She wants it to be her forever home with her son Angelo and partner Rich Paul, and she dreams of extending her family there.”
Meanwhile, Adele recently revealed that she would love to have a baby girl.
The musician told fans during one of her shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that she plans to have another baby after she completes her residency in Sin City.
Adele – who has been dating Rich, a sports agent, since 2021 – shared: “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.
“I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world – that is what I feel will happen.
“She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”
Adele also joked that her daughter would be a “bossy little queen”.
The London-born star quipped: “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Shane MacGowan’s will left widow less than €1 million

OHMYGOSSIP — Shane MacGowan left less than €1 million in his will to widow Victoria Mary Clarke.
The late Pogues frontman only had €849,733 to leave his wife, according to The Irish Mirror.
Most of his income came from royalties from the group’s 1988 festive classic ‘Fairytale of New York’.
Victoria also inherited their home in Ballsbridge in Dublin, which is believed to be worth a packet.
If his spouse had died before him or at the same time, the money would have been given to his sister Siobhan Hayes “for her own absolute use and benefit”.
Victoria was by Shane’s side when he died last November aged 65 after being hit with a series of illnesses that left him hospitalised, including pneumonia.
Victoria – who started grief counselling following Shane’s death – tied the knot with Shane at a lavish wedding in Copenhagen in 2018, with celebrity guests including close friend Johnny Depp.
Recently, Victoria spoke about how children were never on the cards for the couple.
She told the ‘What A Woman’ podcast: “It wasn’t part of our story. I don’t think children would have really survived, honestly, I don’t.
“I’ve never understood that. That would be like you telling me that everybody should want to be a bungee jumper or a racing driver – I can’t understand that. It doesn’t make sense to me. I can see how people think that having children is going to give them some kind of continuity, something will live on when they die or maybe somebody will look after them when they’re old. I can see that because there’s a practical side to it. But I just never.”
Victoria says the loss feels greater than “depression”, and despite being told for decades that Shane “didn’t have very long to live”, nothing could have prepared her for the magnitude of the loss.
She shared: “It’s nothing that you could ever really prepare for, I don’t think. I’m sure there are people that have had a similar situation, but until it’s happened to you, you don’t know how you’ll react.
“It was something that I would have been afraid of for a very long time, because very soon after me and Shane got together people started telling me that he didn’t have very long to live. That would have been in 1986.
“People started telling me that Shane probably had six months to live, because of the way he pushed himself. I spent most of the time worrying about him and worrying that something was going to happen to him.
“But even then, you might worry about something but that doesn’t mean you know what it’s going to be like. It’s like worrying about a car crash. Until you’ve been in a car crash, you just don’t know what it will really feel like.
“It surprised me that it wasn’t all terrible. I assumed that you would go into a deep depression, and nothing would lift you out of it, that you would lose the will to live completely and stay like that.
“I had experienced depression and that’s what it feels like. I assumed it would be like depression, but worse. It did surprise me that we were able to celebrate Shane. At his funeral there was a lot of laughter, dancing and singing. People enjoyed the funeral.”

Christina Fulton ‘deeply saddened’ by son Weston Cage’s arrest

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Fulton was “deeply saddened” when her son Weston Cage was arrested for allegedly assaulting her.
Back in April, the 57-year-old actress had responded to “urgent messages” from her son’s friends who were concerned about his mental health, but when she visited him at home, he allegedly “brutally” attacked her in a “manic rage” and police were called.
However, Christina urged cops not to arrest 33-year-old Weston – whose father is Nicolas Cage – but to have him admitted for a mental health evaluation.
Speaking after her son was arrested on Wednesday (10.07.24), Christina said in a statement: “On April 28th, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., I received urgent messages from friends of my son, Weston Cage, regarding his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help.
“When I arrived to offer support and console him, he was already in the midst of a manic rage. Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries.
“Despite my desperate pleas to the responding police officers to detain him for a mental-health evaluation, the police officers refused my request.
“As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental-health crisis.
“It is imperative that he receives the help he desperately needs.”
Weston was arrested on felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon after turning himself into police earlier this week and was later released on a $150,000 bond.
Los Angeles police told People magazine: “During the incident, Cage punched two victims multiple times, causing injury. LAPD responded, and after meeting with all parties, a police report was completed.”
The case was presented to the district attorney’s office on 10 May and on 26 June, they filed two counts of assault with a deadly weapon against Weston, issuing an arrest warrant some time after.
In 2011, Weston faced domestic violence charges after he had a dispute with his ex-wife Nikki Williams, according to ABC News.
He was hospitalised on a psychiatric hold in 2011 after a violent incident in LA.
Christina and Nicolas started dating in 1988 and had Weston in 1990, but the couple never married and split within a year of their son being born.

Prince Harry celebrates ‘eternal bond’ between mothers and sons at ESPY Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry paid tribute to the “eternal” bond between a mother and son as he accepted the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2024 ESPY Awards on Thursday (11.07.24).
The Duke of Sussex was honoured with the accolade – which is “presented to a person with a strong connection to sports who has served others in a way that echoes the legacy of the former NFL player and US Army Ranger – for his work with the Invictus Games, and while the decision to hand him the prize had been criticised by the soldier’s mother, Mary Tillman, the 39-year-old royal made sure she was one of the first people he spoke about in his acceptance speech.
Harry – who was just 12 years old when his mother, Princess Diana died in a car crash, said: “I’d like to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to everyone at the Pat Tillman Foundation, led by Marie Tillman Shenton, who I’m so honored is here tonight.
“I’d also like to acknowledge the Tillman family, especially Mrs. Mary Tillman, Pat’s mother.
“Her advocacy for Pat’s legacy is deeply personal and one that I respect.
“The bond between a mother and son is eternal and transcends even the greatest losses.”
Before Harry got on stage at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater, the night’s host, Serena Williams, had introduced “three heroes” who had competed in the Invictus Games and the prince urged them to stay with him as he delivered his speech.
He said: “You need to be with me.
Harry dedicated his award win to the “thousands” of sick and wounded military veterans and service personnel who have competed in the games.
He told the audience, which included his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex: “The truth is, I stand here not as Prince Harry, Pat Tillman Award recipient, but rather a voice on behalf of the Invictus Games Foundation and the thousands of veterans and service personnel from over 20 nations who have made the Invictus Games a reality.
“This award belongs to them, not to me. That said, it is of great importance to me to highlight these allies, athletes and their amazing families for their achievements, their spirit, and their courage at every opportunity, especially on nights like this, in front of people like you.
“Moments like these help us reach those that need Invictus the most and reduce the more than 20 veterans a day taking their own lives, in this country alone.
“This year, we are celebrating 10 years of witnessing life-changing impact and healing through sport. And while so much progress has been made since those first games, the world outside seems to be in an even more precarious state.
“We live in an age marked by polarisation and division. Conflicts rage around the globe. Anger and resentment towards those who are different seem to pervade societies everywhere.
“Our community challenges that. Our community proves that unity is not just possible, but formidable.”
Pat’s mother Marie previously insisted there were “far more fitting” recipients who could have been given the award named in honour of her son.
She told DailyMail.com: “I am shocked as to why they would select such a controversial and divisive individual to receive the award.
“There are recipients that are far more fitting. There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans.
“These individuals do not have the money, resources, connections or privilege that Prince Harry has. I feel that those types of individuals should be recognised.”

Keri Russell accuses Disney of double standards

OHMYGOSSIP — Keri Russell has claimed Disney let go of female stars on the ‘All-New Mickey Mouse Club’ when they “looked sexually active”.
The ‘Diplomat’ actress – who was a Mouseketeer between 1991 to 1994, until she was 17 – has hit out at the double standards that the guys and girls appearing on the children’s programme faced when it came to being axed from the show.
Speaking to Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his ‘Dinner’s on Me’ podcast, Keri said when asked if there was a cut-off age for young actors to be let go on the show: “It’s usually like girls who look like they were sexually active. Which, probably, I was one of the first.
“They’re like, ‘She’s out! She is out! That one is gone.’
“The boys stayed ’til they were, like, 19. I was like, ‘By the way, I’ve had sex with that person so I know that they’ve had sex.’ ”
She then jokingly added: “Pregnant Mouseketeers aren’t on the roster!”
While Keri didn’t name who she was referring to, she previously dated fellow Mouseketeer Tony Lucca in the 1990s and he, along with NSYNC’s J.C. Chasez both stayed on the show until they were 19 in 1995.
The 48-year-old actress finds it “weird” she was part of the show but hopes she avoided the “creepiest part of kid acting” because she and her co-stars were all of similar ages.
She said: “It is weird that I was on that.
“I think what’s really the creepiest part of kid acting is usually it’s one or two kids with all adults, and so that really accelerates the adult-ification of everything.
“For ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’, there were 19 of us. The adults were invisible to me.
“I think that’s what was unique. … I wasn’t completely alone with all the adults and I think that was helpful.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck list Beverly Hills home for 68m

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are selling their Beverly Hills mansion for $68 million.
Just over a year after the couple snapped up the 46,000 square-foot mansion, the pair have publicly listed the Crestview Manor property, which is located close to the Beverly Hills Hotel and just 20 minutes from Van Nuys private airport, PEOPLE reports.
It boasts 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms and features a 12-car garage, room for parking 80 cars, a 5,000 square-foot guest penthouse, caretaker house and a two-bedroom guard house.
It also features a pool and an indoor sports complex.
According to Zillow: “An extraordinary indoor sports complex awaits, inviting residents to indulge in a passion for active living. The complex features basketball and pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a boxing ring, a sports lounge, and a bar. The grounds are adorned with a stunning zero-edge pool that artfully frames the expansive estate and its picturesque views, offering a haven of tranquility amidst lush surroundings.”
Jennifer and Ben – who tied the knot in 2022 – actually acquired the spectacular property for $15 million less than the asking price in May 2023.
Jennifer, 54, and 51-year-old Ben’s home was first listed on the market back in 2018, when the owners priced it at $135 million. However, the property was re-listed again last year, and sold for well below the asking price.
Meanwhile, Ben recently admitted he “doesn’t like a lot of attention”.
Speaking on Kevin Hart’s ‘Hart to Heart’, he said: “I see myself as a director, but I’m a little bit shy. I also don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me [and] they’re like, ‘Well, this dude always mad…’ Because somebody has their camera and sticking to my face.
“I don’t mind you taking my picture about a club, a premiere, whatever. My wife, I don’t give a f***. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you.
“My children, that’s a different thing.”
Ben has children Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while the ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
