OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston has blasted J.D. Vance for his comments about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Back in 2021, Vance – who has been chosen as Donald Trump’s running mate in the US Presidential election – claimed that women like Harris are “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives”.
He told then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the US was being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too”.
He added: “It’s just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?”
On Instagram Stories, Jennifer, 55 – who has been open about her IVF struggles in the past – shared a screenshot of a tweet referencing Vance’s interview and wrote: “I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States.”
She added: “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.
“I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”
Harris is stepmother to her husband Doug Emhoff’s two children, son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25.
And Doug’s ex-wife Kerstin Emhoff has praised Kamala as a “loving, nurturing co-parent”.
She told CNN: “These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I. She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present. I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.”

The 34-year-old Tennessee native is best known for being the best friend of pop megastar Taylor Swift, also 34, when they were in high school together and took to social media late on Wednesday (24.07.24) evening to reveal that she is now expecting a baby with her husband Charles.
Alongside a snap of herself displaying her pregnant belly whilst snacking on Cheez-It crackers, Abigail quoted the lyrics from Taylor’s track ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ as she wrote on Instagram: “I’m having his babyyyy…”
Abigail – who works as a chief of staff for corporate development at a payment tech company – tagged her husband in the post and he admitted he was thrilled at the news.
He wrote: “Never been happier to be tagged in a post.”
Taylor is yet to react to the news publicly, but the ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress has been seen with her childhood bestie a number of times over the years.
In 2017, Taylor was a bridesmaid at Abigail’s wedding to her first husband Matt Lucier, and two years prior to that, she arrived at her friend’s birthday party to give a surprise performance.

The 50-year-old actress has been struggling with grief over the death of her stepfather Roy Battersby in January from “a massive stroke” and the stress of her mother Judy Loe’s stage four cancer diagnosis.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper’s Richard Eden at the Summer Gala by Gala One in St Tropez: “I just think people go through things in their life and we all face difficulties and I’ve been quite transparent about mine.
“I’ve just been mainly dealing with my mother and she’s doing OK.”
Kate previously spoke about her struggles after fans hit out at her dramatic weight loss, which was caused by a stress-related tear in her oesophagus.
She wrote on Instagram: “Actually, I watched my stepfather die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief…
“Quite quickly and then I was in hospital for six weeks because the grief had burned a hole in my oesophagus, which made me vomit copious amounts of blood, and I found eating very hard…
“And I just worked very very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my a**.

The two rappers have been locked in a war of words via a series of diss tracks in recent months but the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker’s friend and collaborator Gordo has insisted his pal isn’t interested in drawing out the back-and-forth and is content to be just “chilling” at home.
Gordo told People magazine: “He’s been past it.

The 46-year-old actor already had three children all under the age of 10 when he and his wife Tamsin Egerton became parents again last February and admitted that while raising a baby can be tricky, he was able to have “so much fun” with his kids after filming his intense role as a serial killer in the new film ‘Trap’.
He told People: “Well, I mean, we’ve done it a couple of times now. It’s never easy. The newborn needs what the newborn needs. OHMYGOSSIP — George Lazenby has announced his retirement from acting.
The 84-year-old star – who is best known for his role as James Bond in the 1969 007 film ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ opposite late screen legend Dame Diana Rigg – admitted on Thursday (25.07.24) that it has been a “fun ride” but that getting older has taken its toll and he has made the difficult decision to retire.
He wrote on X: “This hasn’t been an easy decision but it’s time to announce my retirement from work. Therefore, I won’t be doing any more acting or making public appearances, doing any more interviews or signing any more autographs as of today. It’s been a fun ride but getting older is no fun. ”
Away from the 007 series, George – who was married to Chrissie Townson from 1973 until 1995 and then to Pam Shriver from 2002 until 2011 – was also known for his roles in ‘Universal Soldier’, ‘Who Saw Her Die?’ and ‘ The Man from Hong Kong’.
George was a model and had only acted in commercials when he was chosen to replace Sean Connery in the spy franchise but decided only to appear in one installment.
His career stalled in the late 1970s and he moved into business and invested in real estate continued to appear on screen in roles that parodied Bond, and appeared in TV shows such as ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Rituals’ before playing Mario in the television adaptations of the ‘Emmanuelle’ book series.
Having admitted that the Bond movie may have got him into Hollywood, he later explained that it “worth the 10 years it cost” him in terms of work, he recounted his time with the franchise as part of the 2017 documentary ‘Becoming Bond’.
George’s final screen appearances will come in the form the upcoming films ‘Mundije’ and ‘Z Dead End’, both of which are still in post-production.

The 78-year-old actress sat down to use the viral video-sharing app for the first time after her character in the new comedy film ‘The Fabulous Four’ did the same but admitted that it took her by surprise because she spent several hours on it without even realising.
She told US TV show ‘Extra: “I was so confused. “ I went on at 10 in the morning and I didn’t get off until two in the afternoon. I said, ‘What happened? What happened? Where did the day go?’”

The ‘Queen’s Gambit’ actress’ facial features were measured and came out 94.66% accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which measures physical perfection, narrowly ahead of Zendays, who came in second with 94.37% and Bella Hadid, whose 94.35% accuracy secured her third place.
Computerised facial mapping techniques used for the measurements were developed by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, and he found Anya, 28, to be the “clear winner”.
Dr De Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London, explained: “Anya Taylor-Joy was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.
“She had the highest overall reading for the positioning of her eyes, with a score of 98.9%, which is only 1.1% away from being the perfect shape.
“Anya also had the highest score for her eyebrows and was close to the top in almost every category apart from her lips.
“Zendaya was a close second and achieved the second highest score for her lips with a mark of 99.5%.
“Bella Hadid was third, achieving the top score for her chin and high scores across most facial features apart from her brow area.
“Margot Robbie was fourth, scoring highly in all categories except the brow area.
“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.”
Although she only placed sixth on the list of most beautiful women, Beyonce was found to have a near-perfect face shape, scoring 99.6%.

The 57-year-old actress was among 175 torchbearers who helped take the torch from Rambouillet to Versailles on Tuesday (23.07.24) ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics kicking off later this week and she was delighted to have been invited to take part.
Sharing photos of herself in her ceremonial attire with the likes of soccer star Presnel Kimpembe, singer-and-actor Patrick Bruel and politician Rachida Dati, Salma wrote on Instagram: “Yesterday, I had the honor of carrying the Olympic flame, a symbol of light, hope, peace, and unity.
“If you believe in these values, know that you were with me every step of the way.
“As I passed the torch and took part in the relay, I was proud to represent the enduring spirit of the Olympics, bringing light, hope, and unity to all. #Olympics #Paris2024.(sic)”
Ahead of the Torch Relay, the ‘Frida’ star admitted she had been “feeling the excitement” of the occasion.
Sharing some behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram, she wrote: “”Getting ready to participate in the Olympic torch relay in Paris! Feeling the excitement and unity the Olympics brings. Stay tuned for more photos with the torch tomorrow.”
An explanation of why torchbearers are chosen on the official website for the Olympics stated they are “selected based on their commitment, dedication and how they embody at least one of the core tenets of Paris 2024,” which include “sports and the Games,” “communities” and “the collective.”

The 47-year-old actor – who split from Sofia Vergara after a decade of marriage earlier this year and is now dating Caitlin O’Connor – has made it clear with all his “serious” partners that he hopes to have a family of his own and he’s not given up on his dream of being a parent.
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘Podcrushed’ podcast, he said: “It’s something that’s definitely on the docket.
“That was never not on the table. At every stage in life that was always something that was always talked about.
“That was always on the forefront of any serious relationship that I got into.”
The ‘True Blood’ star also joked on the episode that he has “big dad energy” and has “a lot to give in that department.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A new exhibition of Taylor Swift’s costumes and memorabilia will offer fans an “intimate, theatrical encounter”.
The V+A museum in London will open ‘Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail’ on Saturday (27.07.24), with 13 exhibits, a nod to the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker’s favourite number, set up in carefully-chosen slots throughout the building, featuring iconic stagewear, archive photographs and other significant objects from the 34-year-old pop star’s lengthy career.
Senior curator of theatre and performance Kate Bailey said: “We can’t compete with the stadium tour.
“What we can offer is a more intimate, theatrical encounter.”
The trail begins with the ‘Lover’ era and sees Taylor’s costume from her music video for ‘The Man’ – an over-the-top versace outfit, wig and facial hair – housed between statues of the Roman goddesses Diana and Venus, with Valhalla mosaics, by male artists, in the background.
The ‘Reputation’ era section is housed in a room usually home to Antonio Canova’s sclupture The Three Graces, while the 1870s music room of Norfolk House is the setting for the ‘Speak Now’ display.
In a nod to the lyrics of ‘Love Story’, a period gown from the ‘Fearless’ tour is set on a Romeo and Juliet-style balcony, while the ‘Fortnight’ dress from Taylor’s most recent work ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ can be found beneath a staircase leading to the National Art Library, home to works by several famous poets.
Sister albums ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ are located in adjacent rooms, with a moss-covered piano and the knitwear from the ‘Cardigan’ music video, draped to appear discarded on the stool part of the display.
Appropriately for the ‘Midnights’ album and Taylor’s re-records of her earlier work – which all feature “From the Vault” previously-unheard tracks – the displays are housed in a texile vault usually closed to the public. These include magazine covers with the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ hitmaker on the front, some of her vinyl covers, and other outfits, all accompanied by a soundtrack of her hits.
‘Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail’ is at the V+A until 8 September.
