OHMYGOSSIP — Sinead O’Connor’s cause of death has been revealed – one year after she passed away.
The ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ singer died in July 2023, aged 56, and a copy of her death certificate has now been obtained by the Irish Independent newspaper, revealing that her death was a result of “exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma together with low grade lower respiratory tract infection”.
John Reynolds, Sinead’s ex-husband, formerly registered her death earlier this month, when it was certified by Inner South London senior coroner Julian Morris.
However, the coroner’s office hasn’t yet released an official statement.
Sinead’s family announced her passing in a statement in July 2023.
The family admitted at the time that they were “devastated” by the news and asked for privacy.
They said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinead.
“Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”
The singer was found “unresponsive” at a residential property in London, but her death was not treated as suspicious.
Sinead’s death came a year after the passing of her son Shane, who took his own life in 2022.
The music star – who changed her name to Shuhada’ Sadaqat in 2018, after she converted to Islam – said in her last-ever post on X: “Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul.
“We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally.
“I am lost in the bardo without him. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Hartnett received an “unhealthy” amount of fan attention during his younger years.
The 46-year-old actor achieved heartthrob status as a teenager, but Josh now admits that he found it to be an overwhelming experience.
He told the Observer newspaper: “People’s attention to me at the time was borderline unhealthy.”
Asked to clarify what he meant, Josh replied: “Well, look, I don’t want to give this a lot of weight … There were incidents. People showed up at my house. People that were stalking me.”
Josh recalled one incident when “a guy showed up at one of my premieres with a gun, claiming to be my father. He ended up in prison.”
Josh ultimately decided to step away from Hollywood, and focus his attention on independent projects instead.
He explained: “There were lots of things. It was a weird time. And I wasn’t going to be grist for the mill.”
Josh previously admitted that he hasn’t had a “cohesive career”.
The actor was one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood during his younger years, but Josh has subsequently opted to shun some big-budget film projects.
Speaking to The Independent, Josh – who previously starred in ‘Pearl Harbor’ and ‘Black Hawk Down’ – explained: “I have an artistic mind, and I want to follow things that are somehow just outside of my understanding.
“Does that necessarily make for a cohesive career in a movie star sense? No. But before the last few years I just had less of a chance to do it.”
Josh loves making movies and TV shows – but he doesn’t enjoy the pressures of fame.
He explained: “Coming up to the city and doing an interview is a rarity. Typically, I work on the films that I work on, and then I go home.”

The 43-year-old star has taken to social media to reveal that her 18-month-old son Phoenix recently spoke his first word, and Paris has admitted that she loves spending time with her baby boy.

The 68-year-old momager paid a touching tribute to daughter Khloe Kardashian, 40, and her 33-year-old ex-Tristan Thompson’s little boy when he turned two on Sunday (29.07.24), comparing him to her 37-year-old son Rob.
The momager – who has 13 grandchildren – gushed alongside various snaps of Tatum on Instagram: “Happy Birthday to my amazing little Grandson Tatum!!!! You are such a beautiful boy filled with wonder, joy, amazement, curiosity and so so so much love!!!!!! You are the sweetest most special little love bug and every day fill me with such happiness and the best energy to start my days… I am so blessed God chose me to be your Grandma and I love you beyond measure!!!! Khloe pulled out all the stops for the lavish party at her home – as documented on her Instagram Stories.
Guests were greeted to a gigantic balloon arch around the entrance to the mansion with a banner reading: “Tatum Two-a-Saurus.”
Tatum had a three-tier dinosaur birthday cake and even more balloons inside and out.
There was also a giant dinosaur statue with a “do not feed sign” situated near to the pool, which had giant leaf lilos floating on it, and dinosaur egg balloons above.
Another statue had a sign reading “rawr ahead”.
Khloe then showed off a table covered with various dinosaur and egg-shaped cakes and sweet treats.
Other themed foods included tacos served in a dinosaur and fruit in dinosaur shapes.
In a part of the garden covered in shade, the young guests were invited to get arty and create a dinosaur scene or paint a dinosaur.
They even had a merchandise stall by Stoney Clover Ln, where the young ones could personalise their bags with patches.
In her own emotional post about the family’s special bond with Tatum, Khloe shared: “My precious son, I know you were mine in another lifetime.

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez was upset by a physician’s video speculating on the cosmetic surgeries she might have had done.
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star insists she has only ever had Botox and asked to be left “alone”.
Responding to TikToker Marissa Barrionuevo’s original video from 2023, she commented: “Honestly, I hate this. I was on stripes because of flare up. I have Botox. That’s it. Leave me alone.”
It prompted Marissa to post a follow-up apology video.
She said: “You don’t owe it to anyone to tell us why you don’t look the same as what you did when you were a teenager or in your 20s.

Showing there were no hard feelings, Rare Beauty founder Selena wrote back: “I just get sad sometimes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden have reportedly married in a secret ceremony in Scotland.
The 30-year-old ‘Atonement’ star has been dating the ‘Slow Horses’ actor, 34, since 2018 after they worked together on historical drama ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ and now the Irish Independent newspaper reports the pair tired the knot in a low-key ceremony in Edinburgh earlier this month in front of just a “handful” of the couple’s closest friends and family who were all “sworn to secrecy”.
The publication reports the wedding took place at the Edinburgh Registrar’s Office and was confirmed on the register of Scottish civil marriages records.
The couple has kept their relationship out of the spotlight over the years with both Saoirse and Jack refusing to talk about their romance publicly.
Rumours of a possible engagement surfaced last year when Jack shared a video from a hiking holiday in Scotland featuring a hand – believed to be Saoirse’s – wearing a diamond ring but neither commented on the reports.
Jack shared a rare picture of the pair together last month when they attended Glastonbury Festival with the actor taking to Instagram to post a picture of the couple standing in the audience watching one of the acts.
The couple are believed to have got together after meeting on the set of their 2018 movie ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ – in which Saoirse played the monarch and Jack portrayed her onscreen husband.
The romance was later revealed after they attended a screening of the film in New York together – but other cast members were said to have been blindsided by the relationship.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga has sparked rumours she’s engaged to her long-term boyfriend Michael Polansky after introducing him as her fiancé.
The 38-year-old pop star is in Paris for the 2024 Olympics after recording a performance for the opening ceremony and she was seen meeting French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at one of the swimming events and she was caught on camera introducing her boyfriend as her “fiancé”.
In the clip – posted on TikTok by Attal – Gaga was seen greeting the politician before introducing her “fiancé” Michael, who leans over to shake Attal’s hand.
Attal captioned the video: “Thank you Lady Gaga for your stunning performance at the opening ceremony. It was breathtaking.”
The couple are believed to have been together since 2020. The singer was previously engaged to actor Taylor Kinney – they were together for around five years after meeting on the set of her music video for ‘You and I’ in 2011.

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Webbe’s wife Ayshen was left “shaking” after a doctor “brutally” told her to give up on IVF and “cut her losses”.
The 46-year-old Blue star and his partner welcomed their first child – a daughter named Cyan – three years ago after a tough fertility journey and they went through IVF again in a bid to give her a sibling but after several failed cycles and several miscarriages Ayshen, 44, said a doctor told her to give up her dream of becoming a mum again.
She told OK! magazine: “I just hated everything about it [IVF]. I’m sorry to anyone going through IVF, but it ruined me as a person. It broke me, both physically and mentally. I lost myself. I was injecting myself in tears, every day. I was bruised, tired, swollen. It was a horrible experience, only to find out after everything that it didn’t work.
Ayshen went on to explain the stress put pressure on the couple’s marriage but they were determined to keep going until a doctor told them to stop.
She added: “When [Cyan] turned one, that’s when all the miscarriages started. We kept pushing, and it does put a strain on your marriage, but I just wanted to make it happen. Again, I went into panic mode …
“The last doctor I spoke to – and I’m only going by the last one – he actually brutally told me to my face ‘Give up. You’re too old. The eggs won’t take. Go home and enjoy your one child. You’re wasting your time. No one is going to help you over the age of 40. Cut your losses’ I was shaking”.
Simon and Ayshen decided to give up on the fertility treatments and three weeks later they discovered she was pregnant with their second child, daughter Riya, who was born last month.
Simon added of their miracle baby: “I’m a strong believer that stress will make you sick and in a weird way, it [stopping IVF] took the pressure off.
“I still decided to put my energy into believing it would happen. For three weeks afterwards I alkalised my body. I was drinking sea moss and pure coconut water. I stopped drinking, vaping – it takes two. Three weeks later we were pregnant naturally.”
The ‘All Rise’ hitmaker is also dad to another daughter, Alanah Jones, who was born in 1996, from a previous relationship.

The 40-year-old reality TV star went all out for her little boy’s big day – adding giant dinosaurs to the garden as well as providing a pretend “fossil excavation site”, a build-your-own slime station and a dinosaur egg pinata for the young guests at the bash over the weekend (27-28.07.24).
Guests at the bash included Khloe’s mum Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian, who was mocked by her sibling for turning up wearing a red carpet-style outfit for the children’s party. In a video posted on Instagram, Khloe joked to her sibling: “Wowee, the Golden Globe is here, ladies and gentlemen!”
The party also featured a dinosaur-themed birthday cake, sweet treats in the shape of dinosaur eggs.
‘The Kardashians’ star Khloe later added a sweet message on Instagram marking her son’s big day. She wrote: “How are you two years old already? OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona was convinced she was going to “die” and began making plans for her children after a terrifying cancer scare.
The former Atomic Kitten singer was having sleepless nights due to “unbearable” pain and suffered symptoms such as losing large clumps of blood and bleeding after sex, and underwent a series of tests after having three periods in a month.
Doctors found blood in Kerry’s cervix, which instantly made her fear the worst and she urged fiance Ryan Mahoney to bring forward their plans to get married, as well as asking him to adopt her youngest child, 10-year-old DJ, whose father George Kay died in 2019.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “When I got that news, in my head I thought ‘I’ve got cancer, I’m going to die’. That’s why Ryan and I went away by ourselves. I was in so much pain on holiday – at one point I was at the pool bent over and crying. It felt like someone had a Stanley knife and was cutting me inside. And the pain didn’t stop in one area – it goes to my hips, my back and my legs feel like they’re being ripped apart.
“I was terrified and said to Ryan, ‘We need to get married right now and you need to adopt DJ’.
“If I die, she doesn’t have a legal guardian so I was forced to have those conversations.
“Ryan has basically raised DJ but we need to work out a plan if the worst happens and get all our ducks in a row. So many things were going through my head, like it being cervical cancer or womb cancer.”
Fortunately, Kerry – who also has Molly, 22, Lilly, 21, Heidi, 17, and 16-year-old Max from her previous marriages – has now been told there were “no signs” of cancer, but she still doesn’t know what’s wrong with her.
She said: “The doctors told me my cervix is clear of blood now and there were no signs of cancer. It only left me with more questions though. Yes, I had nothing to worry about in that respect but it doesn’t explain the constant pain.”
The reality TV star is considering undergoing a hysterectomy – an operation to remove the uterus – in a bid to alleviate her pain.
She said: “The tests showed there’s no cancer in my cervix, which is great news and put my mind at ease a bit, but the pain hasn’t stopped.
“It’s made me consider a hysterectomy. I’m at an age where I don’t want any more kids so if it could help with the constant pain I’m in, then I’m seriously thinking about it.”

The ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ actress – who was adopted alongside her brother Arthur from a Vietnamese orphanage when she was four months old – has penned a heartfelt tribute to her “beautiful mama”, Mary Condor, after she passed away “a few days” ago.
Lana wrote on Instagram on Sunday (28.07.24) alongside a photo of herself with her mom when she was a toddler: “My beautiful beautiful mama,
“I’m laying here thinking about everything I want to say to you, how to put into words the sheer devastation of losing you and how it has carved me out and left me lost.
“I keep thinking you just went out to run a quick errand, maybe you’re grabbing that smoked salmon dip we both love and that you’ll be right back, or that you just missed my call because you didn’t have your phone on you because you preferred to be present in the moment and look up instead of down.
“I keep thinking that you’ll call me right back. I keep thinking that I still have you here.”
The 27-year-old star credited her mom for shaping her into the person she is today as she taught her qualities such as empathy, compassion and humour.
She continued: “I want, I need, you to know that every good thing I am, is because of you. You taught me how to love the world and others as if there was no such thing as hate.
“You taught me to always trust my gut and run fiercely with my instincts. You taught me empathy, in a world that needs much more of it.
“You showed me what unconditional kindness and compassion is, and that both should always be our first choice.
“That seeing the world thru humor filled lenses is not only one of our best survival techniques, but also a brave choice, that can improve our daily lives exponentially.(sic)”
Lana closed by pledging her “endless” love to her mother.

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Moyet was a “complete a*******” when she first found fame.
The ‘All Cried Out’ hitmaker was just 20 years old when she was propelled into the spotlight as a member of Yazoo alongside former Depeche Mode musician Vince Clarke and she always felt like a “freak” alongside other stars so never felt like she fitted in.
Asked how she handled sudden fame, she told Sunday Times Culture magazine: “There are no two ways about it: I could be a complete a*******.
“I would meet the London crowd, the people who knew how to do small talk and be pop stars, I would say the wrong thing and I could see them thinking: freak.
“That feeling of ‘other’ never went away and my assumption was that nobody wanted to be in my company. I was intruding.”
The 62-year-old star struggled with the attention she received after finding fame.
She recalled: “I left school at 16 having not distinguished myself in any way.
“There was very little expectation for me to be anything more than factory fodder, and as a gender non-conforming rough girl in the 1970s who didn’t have a natural place in society, there was no chance of getting shop work either.
“So when fame happened it was a double whammy: having been observed all my life, it came as a total shock to be observed in a way I had no control over whatsoever.”
Yazoo split after just 18 months and two albums and Alison sunk into a “deep depression”.
Reflecting on how they had faced a million pound lawsuit from a US group also called Yazoo, she said: “So we changed the name to Yaz, and some band called Yaz also tried to sue us. They were just trying it on, but by now I was in a deep depression.
“I’m famous, I’m living in a house in Basildon, I’m agoraphobic, music had been my escape from being this ‘other’ person since I was a child and now I couldn’t even listen to it because it hurt so much.”
But the ‘Whispering Your Name’ singer went on to find solo success thanks to her debut LP ‘Alf’, though she has mixed emotions about it.
She said: “Having a hit solo album with ‘Alf’ was a blessing and a curse, because now I was a mainstream singer and that meant dealing with the strange competitiveness women are put into. There are times when you are meant to exist and times when you are meant to go away.”

The 78-year-old pop superstar inked a deal with HarperCollins Publishers to put pen to paper and lift the lid on her life in showbusiness in her first ever book and it’s now been revealed she will release it in two parts with the first volume – titled ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ – scheduled to hit shelves in November.
A statement from the publishers explained the singer’s life is too “immense” to be crammed into just one book. It reads: “‘Cher: The Memoir’ reveals the daughter, the sister, the wife, the lover, the mother and the superstar. It is a life too immense for only one book.
“The extraordinary life of Cher can be told by only one person … Cher herself. After more than seventy years of fighting to live her life on her own terms, Cher finally reveals her true story in intimate detail.

The statement revealed Cher will cover her seven decades of chart success as well as her “chaotic” upbringing, her “difficult” relationship with her mother and her doomed marriage to Sonny Bono.

The boyband – which currently consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight as well as Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood – sold more than 80 million records during their 1980s heyday with hits like ‘Step by Step’ but Jordan, 54, admitted that it is only since they reunited for the ‘NKOTB Magic Summer 2024 Tour’ that they are able to “soak in” their success.
He told Fox News Digital: “I think now we really appreciate what we have more, and we’re just better at putting a show together as well. We’re more appreciative, and we soak in the audience more. I think we put more thought into creating the show and making sure there are great moments. We’re not afraid to edit things that aren’t working and add things that do work and stuff like that. So, I think we’re more surgical almost about putting a show together.”
The ‘I’ll Be Loving You (Forever)’ hitmakers split in 1994 amid tensions in the group and have come back at various points over the years and Jordan admitted that acrimonious parting actually helled them get to where they are now.
He said: “Disbanding helped us. We disbanded in ’94 and didn’t come back together until late 2007, when we started making new music. So I think that time off really helped us to stay together in our chronically just p***** off at each other, rage and like a lingering irritation with each other
“I think taking that time off, discovering who we were, going down different avenues and then kind of realizing, like, ‘wow, we had something really special.”

The 61-year-old star made history as the first black woman to be crowned Miss America in 1984 and is these days known for her roles in ‘Ugly Betty’ and ‘Desperate Housewives’ but endured a lot of “pressure, shame, judgment” in the early years of her career when X-rated photos of her were leaked.
She told People: “There was a tremendous amount of onus, pressure, shame, judgment.
“Had there been an internet to break back then. I took all that on as a 21 year old. It was global. You can fail quietly, but that was a worldwide fail.
“I look back at my 19-to 20-year-old self and think, ‘Oh my God you were so naive, so trusting, so vulnerable.
“In your mind you think, ‘I’m old, I know what I’m doing.’ I give myself grace now, but as a young adult, I beat myself up, like ‘I should have known better.”
The ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ star – who has Melanie, 37, Jillian, 35, and Devin, 31, with first husband Ramon Hervey II as well as Sasha, 24, with Rick Fox – got through the scandal with the support of her “tremendous family” but admitted that her kids these days have no idea how she coped with it all at such a young age.
She said: “Luckily I have a tremendous family.
“They’re all older than I was now, but the fact that I became famous at 20 years old relative to their lives and having death threats and having to go through breaking a huge hurdle and what the repercussions of that .
“[They’re like] ‘Wow, how did you handle all this mom at 20?’. Then I look back at my twenty year old self and say, ‘My God, I was a baby..”

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson gets emotional every time she performs ‘Scream’ on tour because it brings up memories of her late brother Michael.
The 58-year-old singer teamed up with the King of Pop to record the duet back in the mid-1990s and she has revived the song for her ‘Together Again Tour’ with Janet singing alongside video footage of her late brother – and she feels overwhelmed with emotion every time.
Janet told the BBC: “[I still get emotional] listening to him every night, seeing him, remembering us. Mike and I wrote that song in New York, in his apartment.
“So [I relive] that whole journey, listening to him sing it [and remembering] what he was going through at that time. And just me being his little sister, always by his side, and being that support system. That’s always been my role.”
Michael Jackson died in 2009 at the age of 50 after suffering an accidental drug overdose.
Janet is bringing her ‘Together Again Tour’ to Europe in September which includes her first headline shows in the UK in 13 years. She last performed in England in 2019 when she took to the stage at the iconic Glastonbury music festival in the legends slot.
The European leg of the tour also features stops in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Announcing the extra leg of the tour, Janet shared her delight in a video posted on her social media pages, saying: “Hey you guys, I just want to thank you all for making this my most successful tour to date.
“And Europe, I know it’s been a minute since we’ve seen each other but the wait is no longer. I will be taking the ‘Together Again Tour’ all over Europe this fall. I cannot wait to see you guys.
“I miss you so much. We’ve had so much fun with this show so can’t wait to have some of that fun with you guys. See you in the fall!”
