OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth has joked that his kids are “his agents” after they got involved with his latest movie role.
The 40-year-old actor – who has India, 12, and 10-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan with his wife Elsa Pataky – was able to record part of his voice role as Optimus Prime in the upcoming action film ‘Transformers One’ at his home and recalled his kids “creeping in” on him as they offered words of encouragement.
During an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con, he told 2024 told US TV show ‘Extra’: “I did some of my recording in L.A. at the Paramount Studios and then some of it in my living room with a microphone and a sound technician and my kids kind of creeping in behind, listening and trying to distract me. So, they saw some of it come to life”
“They were like, ‘You have to do it. You have to do it,’ so they’re going to get 10% of the cut. I think they’re my agents in this one.”
The Hollywood star is also known for playing the title role in the ‘Thor’ franchise and admitted that even though he has appeared in four installments so far, he is unsure about a fifth.

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake’s drinking buddy was reportedly allowed by police to drive the singer’s car home after he was arrested on charges of driving while under the influence.
The 43-year-old ‘SexyBack’ performer’s friends are said to have intervened after he was pulled over on 18 June for running a stop sign and swerving into the wrong lane following a night out at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, New York.
TMZ is reporting that, according to sources: “After (Justin) was stopped, cops say he failed multiple sobriety field tests and also smelled of alcohol. He refused to blow into a breathalyser, and claimed he only drank one martini.”
The outlet added: “Sources with direct knowledge say the car Justin was following came back to where the singer was pulled over.
“There was a woman and her husband in that car, and the woman got out and went up to one of the cops and began questioning him, asking, Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake?’
“She then offered to drive Justin to their house, where he was going to spend the night… in other words, just let him go and she and her husband would get him home safely. That strategy did not work, and Justin was arrested.
“Now here’s the twist. Our sources say the woman asked cops if she could take Justin’s rental car to her house, given that Justin was going to jail. The cops obliged, she got in Justin’s car and left.”
We’re told the woman had arrived at The American Hotel two hours before Justin and was drinking … and it was apparent she had been drinking. Yet the two cops who were on the scene let her take the wheel and drive away.
TMZ also said Justin’s lawyer Edward Burke, Jr – who is trying to get the case dismissed – will “argue the two young cops were so off in their judgment they let a person who had clearly been drinking drive away, right in front of their eyes”.
It added the attorney is set to ask: “If they were unable to properly evaluate her, how could they properly evaluate him?”
Justin has been charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and cited for two traffic violations after drinking at the American Hotel, where he allegedly was seen downing another patron’s cocktail.
His wife, Jessica Biel, 42, was not with him at the time, as she was filming an upcoming Prime Video series in New York City.
Justin’s lawyer said during a hearing last week Justin was “not intoxicated” at the time of his arrest and stated the cops in the case “made a number of very significant errors”.
He added he is “confident that (this DWI) charge will be dismissed”.
Justin is due in court for his arraignment on 2 August but is expected to attend the hearing virtually.

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Simmons’ housekeeper is convinced the late fitness guru was killed by a heart attack.
The exercise fanatic was found dead at his home on Belfast Drive, Los Angeles, after emergency workers responded to a 911 call from his long-term helper Teresa Reveles on 13 July – with his passing coming a day after he turned 76 and four months after he told fans he had been diagnosed with skin cancer.
Teresa, who discovered Richard’s body the morning after his 76th birthday, told People about how she noticed his hands were balled into fists when she found him: “That’s why I know it was heart attack. I had a heart attack a few years ago, and my hands did the same.”
Teresa added her ex-boss looked “peaceful” and she believed he “died happy”.
She also confirmed a report that claimed Richard fell in his bathroom on his birthday but refused medical help because he didn’t want to spend the special day in the hospital.
She said Richard told her: “‘Why don’t we wait and we do it in the morning?’” Teresa added: “But in the morning, it was too late.”
Law enforcement does not believe foul play is involved in Richard’s death but the investigation into the manner and cause of his death is still ongoing.
He was laid to rest in a private funeral at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles on 19 July.
His older brother Lenny Simmons told People in a statement provided by his longtime publicist, Tom Estey: “Our beloved Dicky was laid to rest this morning surrounded by only family and closest friends.
“We pray for your continued love and support during this very difficult time.”
Lenny asked his late brother’s fans to “remember him for the genuine joy and love he brought to people’s lives”.
He added Richard “truly cared about people” as he “called, wrote and emailed thousands of people throughout his career to offer help”.
Lenny concluded: “So don’t be sad. Celebrate his life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Smith lives like he is on “borrowed time” after surviving a near-fatal heart attack.
The ‘Clerks’ filmmaker, 53, was left reeling by a “massive” cardiac arrest in 2018 and has now said he has worked hard on changing his mindset so he can enjoy living in the moment.
He told People about how his mental health is “good” despite the health shock: “I’m holding on. It’s coming up on a year and a half since I got out (of hospital.)
“And when you’re in there, it’s very easy to stay healthy because you’re surrounded by people who are doing the same.
“And then the moment you leave, you’re back in the real world and the rat race begins anew.”
He added about changing his approach to life: “It is struggle – not a difficult f****** life-or-death struggle, but it’s a struggle – to remember to breathe and place yourself in the here and now.
“Be mindful, not live in the past, not worry about the future, but just be right here… a few years ago, there’s a chance that I didn’t walk away from a heart attack… I’ve gotten six (years) since then.
“I work under the assumption I’m living on borrowed time, so I just try to enjoy it.”
In 2022, Kevin told People his heart attack was “the greatest gift I ever had” as it made him overhaul his life and increased his work output.
He added: “Not only did it save my life, make me go vegan and go healthier and stuff, but it gave me the spine for ‘Clerks III’.”
The film echoes his life as it sees its most outspoken character Randal Graves, played by Jeff Anderson, 54, hit by a heart attack in the film.
Kevin said about a scene where Randal is lying on an operating table pondering his existence: “That was based on real life. I was making peace with the fact that this could be it.”
Kevin had been told by a doctor he had an 80 per cent chance of dying when he had his cardiac arrest.

OHMYGOSSIP — Slash’s heart has been “permanently fractured” by the death of his stepdaughter.
The Guns N’ Roses guitarist, 59, was left devastated when Lucy-Bleu Knight passed away aged 25 on 19 July, and he has now paid tribute to her with an emotional post on Instagram.
He said alongside a picture of Lucy-Bleu: “My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you and remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity and beauty you have always been. And still are.
“The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”
Slash announced Lucy-Bleu’s death on July 22, after telling fans a day earlier he was pulling out of four shows on his ‘S.E.R.P.E.N.T.’ festival tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
According to Los Angeles Medical Examiner records obtained by In Touch, she died on 19 July.
They have said the autopsy on Lucy-Bleu has been completed and the body is ready for release – but the cause of death has been deferred pending additional testing, and an investigator has been assigned to the case.
Slash, real name Saul Hudson, told fans Lucy-Bleu “passed away peacefully” in a statement posted on her Instagram Stories, in which he added: “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024.
“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.
“The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
Slash dated Lucy-Bleu’s mother Meegan Hodges, 55, in 1989 before they got together again in 2015.
Meegan had her late daughter with her ex, Mark Knight and her cause of her death remains unknown.
Slash resumed his tour on 28 July with a performance at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto and is set to continue with his gigs until the end of August with shows in cities including Boston, New York, Atlanta and more.

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles and Queen Camilla are “profoundly shocked” after a knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event left two children dead.
The monarch, 75, and his 77-year-old wife spoke out after kids were targeted in an attack in Southport, Merseyside, on Monday (29.07.24) – which onlookers described as straight out of a “horror film” – and that also left six young victims and two adults who tried to shield them from harm in a critical condition.
He and Camilla posted on the Royal Family’s X account: “My wife and I have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport today.
“We send our most heartfelt condolences, prayers and deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who have so tragically lost their lives, and to all those affected by this truly appalling attack.”
Armed police and paramedics were called to the Hart Space Studios in the wake of reports of multiple stabbings at 11.50am, after dozens of children gathered for a “Taylor Swift yoga and dance” summer holiday club.
Officers say 17-year-old boy from Banks has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and two adults who tried to defend the children are also in critical condition after being injured.
Eyewitnesses said the scene was like “something in a horror movie”.
Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy told a press conference the children were attending a Taylor Swift event at a dance school when a 17-year-old with a knife walked in and started his “horrendous and ferocious attack”.
The force added the teenager remains in police custody and will be questioned, with officers confirming the man is from the Banks area but originally from Cardiff.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing and multiple witnesses described seeing a man in a black hood at the scene of the carnage.

The Black Sabbath rock survivor, 75, recently hit out at the ‘Toxic’ singer, 42, by saying he was “fed up” seeing the “poor” singer’s moves on the Internet.
He has now backtracked in ‘The Osbournes’ podcast, saying: “Britney, I really owe you an apology. I’m so sorry, for making that comment.”

Ozzy’s co-host and daughter, Kelly Osbourne, 39, who has branded Britney’s videos “very sad”, also apologised to the singer.

Her mum Sharon, 71, then chipped in: “Listen, I like Britney a lot. I love Britney Spears. But it’s the same dance every day.”
Kelly added: “No, sometimes, she has knives” – referring to the video Britney posted of her dancing with huge blades in her kitchen that prompted panic among fans for her mental health and led to authorities turning up at the performer’s mansion to carry out a wellness check.
Ozzy then added to Britney: “I really do apologise. I love you and I think you’re beautiful.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter filed for the alteration on her 18th birthday on 27 May, with her bid publicly announced with a legal notice in the Los Angeles Times as part of a legal obligation.
Her lawyer Peter Levine has now confirmed she will have to wait longer for the change after a court delayed her hearing due to an incomplete background check.
The attorney told People: “Unfortunately, the court was unable to complete the background check ahead of today’s hearing, so the hearing was rescheduled for 19 August.
“Everyone undergoing a name-change request needs to have a background check conducted by the court clerk, and because of clerical error, Shiloh’s hearing has been continued to a new date.”
Mr Levine recently revealed Shiloh made the move “following painful events”.
He called it a “significant decision” for the teen and said people should be careful about how they report the decision.
The lawyer said in a statement following reports she had publicly announced her move with the LA Times notice: “The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events, and is merely following legal process.
“Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate.
“As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name.
“That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required.”

Officers raced to answer reports of a knife attack at an address in Southport at 11.47am on Monday, where they found multiple victims had been subjected to a nightmarish attack that eyewitnesses described as straight out of a “horror film”.
A 17-year-old boy from Banks, Lancashire, who is from Cardiff in Wales, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said: “It is understood that the children were attending a Taylor Swift event at a dance school when the offender, armed with a knife, walked into the premises and started to attack the children inside.
“We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children who were being attacked.”
A motive for the attack was not clear hours after the carnage, but it is understood it is not being treated as a terrorist incident.

The former ‘Sex and the City’ star, 67, will appear in BBC Radio 4’s ‘Central Intelligence’ alongside Hollywood veteran Ed Harris, 73, as well as 41-year-old Johnny Flynn.
Kim has hailed the project a “very well-written, factual and entertaining history of the Central Intelligence Agency from its uncertain inception”.
She added: “A human story full of false starts, gaffs, blunders, and thankfully triumphs on the world stage.
“A thrilling story of Russian Roulette. I was engrossed learning the true story of how this vital agency grew and prospered before and during the Cold War.”
The BBC unveiled news of the 10-part series on Tuesday (30.07.24) as part of a series of commissions that includes an audio version of William Shakespeare’s ‘King Lear’ and new audio adaptations of Charles Dickens’ books.
Kim’s character Eloise Page is said in promotional material for the show to have joined the CIA “on the agency’s first day in 1947 and became one of its most powerful women”.
A blurb for the show added Eloise will narrate the show “in hindsight”, taking “the listener on a journey spanning the staggering world events that shaped her career, as well as portraying her relationships with early CIA leaders Allen Dulles (Ed Harris) and Richard Helms (Johnny Flynn)”.
Produced by Goldhawk Productions, Thoroughbred Studios and Rainfall Creations, the series also stars Geoffrey Arend, 46, and 53-year-old Rob Benedict.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling has relived the moment she realised her best friend Shannen Doherty had died after her phone “kept buzzing” at 7am.
The actress, 51, has been struggling with her grief over her former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ co-star’s passing on 13 July aged 53 after she lost her years-long battle against cancer – and has now relived the horrific moment she learned she was gone.
She said on her ‘misSPELLING’ podcast about her phone lighting up when she was asleep with her two of her children on Sunday, 14 July: “It kept going off. I checked the time, and it was 7am, and I knew immediately.
“I was… I was like, ‘Oh my god. Somebody’s passed, somebody important has died.’
“And I took that moment not to go on social media… when I pulled up Google, I saw that Shannen had passed on Saturday night, and it was shocking.”
She added: “For everyone around the world that was going through something, whether it was cancer or any other kind of disease or ailment or connected to a hard time they were going through… they really did look to her for inspiration and power to carry on in the moments when they felt they couldn’t – and I got to see that in person.
“I got to see that in person her whole life, which is beautiful.”
Tori also recalled the first time she met Shannen aged 15 while filming the pilot for ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’.
She added: “I think Shannen and Brian (Austin Greene – who played David Silver on the show) were the first people that I met on set, and they were really, really welcoming.
“She immediately took me under her wing. She gave me a big hug, walked me around, took me into the makeup trailer.”
Tori admitted she and Shannen didn’t always agree, which she said led to “lost years” between them before they reconnected and realised they were being “silly”.
She said: “Ultimately, we got that time to go back and say, ‘None of that matters’.
“What matters is that core friendship that we had, and we were able to get back to that.”

The 27-year-old spoke out after the fury that erupted over Adidas honouring the 52nd anniversary of the Munich Olympics with a campaign that featured Bella marking the relaunch of the firm’s SL72 trainer – which originally debuted in 1972, the same year as the terror-hit Games.
She has now spoken out about the controversy in a long Instagram Stories post, saying: “For those of you that do not know my heart, I want to make sure you’re hearing directly from me about my recent campaign with adidas.
“I would never knowingly engage with any art or work that is linked to a horrific tragedy of any kind.
“In advance of the campaign release, I had no knowledge of the historical connection to the atrocious events in 1972.
“I am shocked, I am upset, and I am disappointed in the lack of sensitivity that went into this campaign. Had I been made aware, from the bottom of my heart, I would never have participated.
“My team should have known, adidas should have known and I should have done more research so that I too would have known and understood, and spoken up.
“As I always have, and always will, speak up for what I believe to be wrong. “While everyone’s intentions were to make something positive, and bring people together through art, the collective lack of understanding from all parties undermined the process.
“I do not believe in hate in any form, including antisemitism. That will never waiver, and I stand by that statement to the fullest extent.”
Bella added it “hurt” her “heart” that so many people had drawn a connection between the campaign and the current “liberation of the Palestinian people” as the situations are so different.
She added: “Palestine is not synonymous with terrorism. This campaign unintentionally highlighted an event that does not represent who we are.
“I will forever stand by my people of Palestine while continuing to advocate for a world free of antisemitism.
“Antisemitism has no place in the liberation of the Palestinian people. I will always stand for peace over violence, any day.
“Hate has no place here, and I will forever advocate for not only my people, but every person worldwide.”
The model has been an outspoken supporter of Palestine, and has Palestinian heritage, sparking controversy over her inclusion in a campaign that celebrated an Olympics that will forever be linked to violence.
At the Munich Olympics in 1972, Palestinian terrorists from the militant ‘Black September’ outfit broke into the Olympic Village where they killed two members of the Israeli team and took nine more members of the Israeli team hostage.
All the hostages were killed, as well as one German police officer.
Adidas Originals shared photos featuring Bella on X with the caption: “Giving Bella Hadid her flowers in the SL 72.”
All campaign photos featuring the model have been removed from the company’s social media accounts in the wake of it and her role being slammed on social media and by the likes of the American Jewish Committee.
Adidas has apologised “for any upset or distress caused” by the connections being made between its campaign and “tragic historical events”.

The music star and actor – whose real name was Derek Emmanuel Barbosa – was famously a rival of the late Tupac and is said to have passed away on Monday (29.07.24). No cause of death is known at this time.

Public Enemy‘s Chuck D has been left heartbroken as they bonded over music and art.
He wrote: “This ones a tough one. I admired Dj Polo as a @hiphopgods PEer. @CHINOXL was my brother in rhyme and Art. He encouraged my graphics forward. We exchanged art books. He looked out to protect my lyric books better. He supported my events. We supported his music and art. (sic)”
Chino’s 1996 debut album ‘Here to Save You All’ is not only beloved in hip-hop, but it also sparked an infamous feud with Tupac.
On the track ‘Riiiot!, he rapped: “By this industry, I’m trying to not get f***** like 2Pac in jail.”
Tupac got his own back on the track ‘Hit ‘Em Up’, on which he took aim at several rappers, including Biggie and Diddy, and those associated with Bad Boy Records, which was founded by the latter.
Just three months after one of the greatest diss songs of all time was released, Tupac was killed in a drive-by-shooting on September 7, 1996.
Away from his rap career, Chino appeared on the small screen in ‘CSI: Miami’ and ‘Reno 911!’, whilst he starred alongside Kate Hudson and Luke Wilson in director Rob Reiner’s ‘Alex and Emma’ flick in 2003.

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Jost has injured his toes whilst covering the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ writer is in Tahiti filming the surfing competitions and sustained the injury due to being barefoot around a reef.
Alongside a snap of his bandaged toes, he wrote on Instagram: “You know it’s going great when you’ve been to the Olympic medical tent more than any of the athletes.”
He had quipped about his bloodied foot: “This might ruin my WikiFeet score but I just arrived in Tahiti for the surfing Olympics and the reef was excited to greet me.”
The TV star – who loves to surf and was saved by the late Jimmy Buffet after he was pinned against rocks by his surfboard leash in 2014 – was wearing an NBC Olympics blazer at the time.
Meanwhile, Colin recently admitted he fell for Scarlett Johannsson because she is a “great mom”.
The scribe – who married the 39-year-old ‘Fly Me To the Moon’ actress in 2020 after three years of dating – confessed it was “weird” getting to “preview” his future wife as a parent before they had their son Cosmo, now two, because he had seen how she cares for her daughter Rose, nine, who she has with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
He told the New York Times newspaper: “I think part of the reason I fell in love with her is she’s a great mom. I’ve known Rose, my stepdaughter, since she was two. It’s weird. You get to actually preview someone as a mom.”
Meanwhile, Scarlett admitted one of the reasons why she was attracted to 42-year-old Colin is that, unlike other relationships she has been in, he wasn’t intimidated by her huge success and they are not competitive with one another.
She said: “It’s hard for me to imagine that that wouldn’t be an incredibly attractive quality.”
