OHMYGOSSIP — Will Young is “loving being older”.
The 45-year-old pop star has revealed that he doesn’t have any concerns about ageing, even though he now occupies a different space in the mind of the public.
Will – who came to prominence in 2002, when he won the TV talent show ‘Pop Idol’ – told The Independent: “I’m loving being older.
“But as a gay man, it’s bizarre how people respond to you. You’re put in a category: now I’m a ‘daddy’.”
The chart-topping star wishes other celebrities were more honest about the realities of ageing.
He explained: “You know, I’m three stone heavier than I used to be, but no one talks about that.
“In the world I’m in, and maybe in the space that we occupy, no one talks about it. It’s just quite nice to talk about looking in the mirror and looking old and not feeling attractive.”
Meanwhile, Will previously admitted that he actually finds acting to be less stressful than making music.
The pop star thinks musicians are under more pressure to create a “brand” for themselves.
Will – who previously starred in a one-man play called ‘Song from Far Away’ – explained: “What the audience thinks of me doesn’t matter. I’m not selling myself but someone else.
“Music is different. There’s pressure to be a brand.”
Will observed that musicians are expected to use their social media accounts in order to promote their work.
However, as an actor, Will didn’t face the same kind of pressures.
The singer – who studied at the University of Exeter before finding success as a pop star – said: “I’m even locked out of my social media because I just get drunk and slag people off. As an actor, I don’t need that presence.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood “couldn’t say no” to ‘American Idol’.
The 41-year-old singer was recently announced as Katy Perry’s replacement on the TV show’s judging panel, and Carrie feels like she owed a debt of gratitude to ‘American Idol’, after finding fame on the show.
A source told DailyMail.com: “They have asked Carrie in the past to be a judge and either timing, money or other commitments have got in the way to make it a reality.
“She has been asked to coach on ‘The Voice’ as well, but it just never seemed right.
“Even with the opening she has to speak to the same people at NBC by working with ‘Sunday Night Football’, she has always felt that she needed to be loyal to ‘American Idol’.
“She has always monitored the show that started her career, and now she couldn’t say no.”
Carrie hopes that her involvement will help to breathe new life into the show.
The insider explained: “Carrie feels she is the best star to have come from ‘American Idol’ and judging on the show to make another superstar will help cement her legacy with the show.
“She is looking forward to every joy she gets from giving back and is more than ready to make the show the monster show it once was.”
Carrie is set to join Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan on the judging panel for season 23 of the show.
In an announcement video, Carrie – who won the fourth season of ‘American Idol’ back in 2005 – said: “I went from nobody knowing my name to tens of million of people watching the show.
“I’m proud of everything that I was able to accomplish on the show and I’m so proud of everything I’ve accomplished since.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paula Abdul doesn’t have any intention of slowing down.
The 62-year-old star is still in tip-top physical condition and she’s recently been wowing fans during New Kids On The Block’s Magic Summer Tour.
The veteran star – who has suffered various injuries during the course of her career – told DailyMail.com: “I love being able to communicate through music and dance and as long as I can continue to do it I’m going to do it for as long as I can.
“You know, being on stage is a happy place for me.”
Paula battled a chronic back problem earlier in her career – but she’s now in a “really good place” with her health.
She shared: “I don’t like to say dieting, but I eat in a healthy way which incorporates a lot of elements from an alkaline diet because my body, just from injuries alone, carries a lot of acidity – so I try to keep the balance right so I can keep as much inflammation out of my body.”
Paula revealed that her diet includes a “proper balance of protein and fat”.
She said: “I make sure that I eat healthy grains, like I love quinoa and I mix some protein in.
“My protein comes from anything from egg whites to tofu to chicken to shrimp, and I mix it up so that I have a proper balance of protein and fat.”
Paula still enjoys a treat every now and again.
But the former ‘American Idol’ star remains very conscious of what she eats and drinks.
She explained: “For my injuries and for keeping my body as optimum as possible, sugar isn’t something that I can indulge in a lot.”

The 31-year-old star recently filed for a divorce from the rapper – but Cardi has now denied suggestions that she’s requested child support from her estranged husband as part of their settlement.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker – who already has Wave, two, and Kulture, six, with Offset, while she also has another child on the way – wrote on Instagram: “Even wit my filling I’m not askin for child support my claim is for him to only pay for the bills he already pays on the kids and the new one (sic)”
Despite this, a rep for the rap star recently confessed that the divorce has been “a long time coming”.
Explaining the reasons behind their split, the rep told PEOPLE: “It’s not based on cheating rumours, but rather has been a long time coming.”
Meanwhile, Cardi recently announced her latest pregnancy via a post on social media.
The award-winning star – who married Offset in 2017 – said on Instagram: “With every ending comes a new beginning! OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Brady has hailed his “beautiful kids” as he celebrates his 47th birthday.
The NFL icon celebrated his latest birthday on Saturday (03.08.24), and Tom – who has Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with Gisele Bundchen, as well as Jack, 16, with Bridget Moynahan – has taken to social media to mark the occasion.
Alongside a series of throwback photos, Tom wrote on Instagram: “The lost files from 46! What a special year with these beautiful kids, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, and all of you! Here’s to making 47 our best year yet… Also, you get to post a selfie on your birthday, everyone chill out (sic)”
Tom and Gisele announced their split in 2022, and the sports icon previously insisted that his children would be his number one priority moving forwards.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman thinks compromise is key to a happy marriage.
The 57-year-old actress has been married to music star Keith Urban since 2006, and Nicole has now shared some of the best relationship advice she’s ever received.
Speaking to Victoria Beckham for Vogue Australia magazine, Nicole explained: “The greatest advice I was given was there’s the individual – so there’s the me and the you – and there’s the we. And that’s only you.
“No one else has what you two create, or what Keith and I create, any married couple who are partners, any people who have chosen to be in a relationship together, we create this, so we decide what this is.”
Nicole – who was previously married to movie star Tom Cruise between 1990 and 2001 – believes that any successful marriage requires some degree of compromise.
The award-winning actress shared: “Compromise as well. A lot. It’s always trial and error, and sometimes it’s imbalanced and then it gets back in balance … We don’t gloat about it.
“People always ask, ‘What’s your marriage advice?’ We don’t have any! Everyone does their own thing and creates it. I’m not some relationship guru. I’m just trying to find my own way.”
Nicole explained that Keith, 56, has been a stable influence in her life since they tied the knot.
The movie star also suggested that her husband has helped her to navigate the pressures of fame and success.

The 41-year-old star has admitted to being obsessed by the British royal during her younger years.

Despite this, Miranda has admitted to feeling “most starstruck” when she met yoga teacher Gurmukh.
The model has rubbed shoulders with some of the world’s most famous people, but she’s admitted to being in awe of Gurmukh, who is considered to be a pioneer in the field of pre-natal yoga.
Miranda – who is married to billionaire businessman Evan Spiegel – said: “My most starstruck moment was the first time I met Gurmukh.
“She brought Kundalini yoga to the western world. I’ve practised Kundalini yoga since I was 17 years old, and it was a dream to meet her and do Kundalini yoga together.”
Miranda revealed that meditation has become an important part of her daily routine.
The runway star explained: “I’ve been meditating daily for over 20 years. It’s one of the first things I do in the morning and one of the last things I do at night. I learned and often do TM meditation [Transcendental Meditation], or sometimes I will use the Insight Timer app for guided meditations.”
Miranda has enjoyed huge success in her career, modelling for the likes of Victoria’s Secret and Maybelline.
But if she wasn’t modelling, Miranda would love to do something “health and wellness-related”.

The 43-year-old actor and Eva Mendes, his long-term partner, have been exploring the possibility of buying a house in Barnes, south London, as the loved-up duo are keen to lay down roots in the UK capital.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Ryan and Eva would certainly add an A-list element to an already well-to-do area.”
The Hollywood duo have turned to property experts in a bid to find the ideal home for them.
The insider explained: “The couple have several property contacts they are utilising to help them find the perfect place, along with a budget of over £10 million.”
Last year, meanwhile, fellow movie star Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively also chose to buy a property in London.
The 47-year-old actor is the co-chairman of Wrexham AFC, a Welsh soccer team – but Ryan opted to buy a home in London instead because it made “more sense”.
A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper at the time: “Ryan and Blake just love Britain, it has become a real second home for them. They have made some really good friends in the UK, so it made sense to have a proper base here.”
Ryan and Blake, 36, have both become very fond of Wrexham over recent years.
However, they chose to buy in London because it’s more convenient for their work lives.
The source said: “While they love Wrexham, a lot of their work is taking place in London so it seemed to make more sense to be there rather than Wales.
“The UK is small compared to America, so nowhere is actually that far.”

The 36-year-old singer is set to perform ten shows in the German city throughout August – but Adele has admitted that it’s been a stressful process.
Adele – who is performing at a purpose-built stadium in Munich – told her fans: “I can’t wait to have a drink on Sunday. Oh my God. Putting the show together is crazy.
“It’s so high pressure and I get very, very stressed.”
During a show, Adele also shared some hangover tips with her fans.
The London-born star told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Hydrate while you dehydrate is what I like to say because I can really drink.
“I’m British. The key to being able to drink all day and all night is to have a glass of alcohol, you have a glass of water, you have a glass of alcohol, you have a glass of water. So you’re hydrating while you ­dehydrate.”
Meanwhile, a source recently revealed that Adele plans to “focus on her family” in 2025.
The Grammy-winning star – who has Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki – intends to put her music career on ice at the end of the year.
The insider said: “She has had a busy few years since releasing her album ’30’ in 2021, and it has surpassed her expectations.

Victoria – who has Brooklyn, 25, Romeo 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13, with David – told Vogue Australia magazine: “We woke up this morning and said, ‘We’re so proud of the kids, they’re such great, kind, sweet, humble, funny, hardworking young adults’.
“Getting that balance is very difficult. I struggled with that a lot when the children were younger.
“We’ve never had an enormous amount of staff, if you like. We do have nannies and we do have our parents, who have been amazing. But you do feel like you’re juggling.”
Victoria “didn’t have much of a social life” while her kids were younger. But the loved-up couple are now embarking on a new phase in their lives.
The former Spice Girl said: “Being a wife, mum and fulfilling your dreams in regards to what your passions are, and what you love to do in regards to work, was enough. But then the kids get older and they flee the nest and have their own passions. Now myself and David are in the next chapter.
“Even Harper, who is 13, has her friendship group, she loves to do her own thing, and we’re super, super close but it definitely feels like that next chapter of our lives together.”
Despite this, Victoria loves that she’s always been able to balance her career with her family life.

The 42-year-old singer has paid a glowing tribute to Simone, 27, after she won her third gold medal in less than a week at the Paris Olympics.

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Hall “did not ask for” the end of his marriage to Christina Hall.
The 43-year-old star filed for divorce from the ‘Christina in the Country’ host in July after almost three years of marriage, but he’s insisted it wasn’t his decision, though he refuses to engage in a public war of words with his estranged wife and wants to sort out the details of their split in private.
Sharing a photo of himself with his dog Stella, he wrote on Instagram: “I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for.
“I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.
“We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time.

Josh’s post comes shortly after the HGTV star seemingly branded him an “insecure man with a large ego”.
The HGTV star split from Josh Hall earlier this month after almost three years of marriage and, days after she filed court documents accusing him of taking $35,000 of her own money, she has taken to Instagram to hint there had been problems in their relationship for some time.
Christina – who has three children from previous relationships – wrote on Instagram in a white font on a black screen: “Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of ‘how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch …………. Meanwhile, I’m over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be …..

Josh had cited irreconcilable differences when he filed for divorce from Christina, 41, and requested spousal support.
A week later, the ‘Flip or Flop’ star responded with her own filing, requesting neither receive spousal support and detailed all the properties which she owns solely and those her estranged husband also has ownership off.
She later filed a motion in which she alleged Josh had taken money by “diverting” funds by asking the manager of some of her rental properties to transfer money to a “different” account.
She wrote: “Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account,
“I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zac Efron is doing “fine” after being hospitalised following a “minor swimming incident”.
The ‘Family Affair’ actor was vacationing in Ibiza when he experienced an issue in the pool of the villa he was staying at on Friday (02.08.24) and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, but released the next morning.
His representative said: “He is fine.”
Sources told TMZ the 36-year-old star was pulled out of the water by two people working at the villa but his spokesperson didn’t explain how it could have only been a “minor” incident if he required hospital treatment.
They stressed he was only there as a precautionary measure but declined to be drawn on the specifics of what happened.
Meanwhile, Zac recently admitted he felt “very nervous” when he first worked with Nicole Kidman on ‘The Paperboy’ back in 2012, and Zac has admitted to feeling anxious about working with his award-winning co-star.
Zac – who has reunited with Nicole to make ‘A Family Affair’ – told PEOPLE: “We had so much fun doing that, but it was crazy.”
The Hollywood star has fond memories of working with the 57-year-old star and he jumped at the opportunity to reunite with her for the new rom-com.
He said: “I’m still so enamoured with Nicole.
“There’s a part of me that pinches myself when I realise who I’m working with a lot. I think that was more pronounced during ‘The Paperboy’ because I was a lot younger. I was very nervous back then.”
Nicole feels they’ve both benefited from the experience of working together before.
She shared: “It’s really helpful when you’re doing this sort of work together that you’ve already got a history together, because it’s easy. You’re not working to create a history. So I’m not like, ‘Can I touch you?’ I feel incredibly trusting of Zac.”

The 61-year-old actress and singer recently announced she had secretly divorced her third husband, accountant Jim Skrip, in 2021 after six years of marriage but Vanessa insisted she is still “in love with life”.
She told PEOPLE: “I’m really happy. I’m an empty nester but thank God for FaceTime. I’m doing what I love and I’m in love with life. There is not one person that I’m in love with, but I’m in love with everybody.

The couple tied the knot in Edinburgh on July 30 2011 and after 13 years of marriage, their relationship is only getting stronger.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK magazine: “They seem to just get better and better as the years go by. It’s really great to see a couple who are still clearly head over heels for one another and act like newlyweds when they’re out and about. They are the most tactile of all the younger royals and also the most fun loving, which makes them immensely likeable.”
Jennie went on to praise Olympic equestrian Zara, 43, and former rugby star Mike, 45, for being so “down-to-earth”.
She said: “I’ve never met anyone who has a bad word to say about the Tindalls. They are an incredibly charismatic couple and the fact that they have remained so down-to-earth in spite of their royal status has endeared them to the public.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooklyn Beckham has broken his shoulder.
The 25-year-old chef – who is the son of Victoria and David Beckham – needed hospital treatment after sustaining a painful injury, but he didn’t reveal what had happened to break the bone.
Sharing a selfie from his hospital bed, Brooklyn reassured fans things were “all good” because he’s got his wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham for support.
He captioned his Instagram post: “Broke my shoulder but all good cause I have @nicolaannepeltzbeckham to look after me xx love you babe [heart emojis] (sic)”
Just hours earlier, both Brooklyn and his 29-year-old wife had shared photos to their Instagram Stories of them out walking, with him not appearing to have any issues with his arms in the post.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn has been supporting Nicola in her quest for answers over the death of her dog Nala just hours after the pooch had been to the groomers.
The ‘Lola actress’ is taking legal action against HoundSpa employee Jony Ceballos, HoundSpa LLC and the company’s owner Deborah Gittleman.
In the lawsuit, Nicola claims Nala’s death was caused by Ceballos’ alleged “intentional and malicious abuse of dogs.”
It added: “Nala went into the grooming van, a happy, healthy dog, but returned injured and in severe physical distress – breathing heavily and wheezing, with her chest pulsating. Nala’s tongue was blue, she had fluid in her lungs, and she suffered neurological damage.
“Nala was put on oxygen and cared for as Nicola distressingly and emotionally witnessed her dog suffer.”
According to PEOPLE.com, the lawsuit accuses the company of “reckless and malicious conduct” for keeping Ceballos employed following an alleged “history of complaints” about him “repeatedly” mistreating animals.
The suit added: “This case is about holding responsible those who abuse animals in their care and shedding light on the lack of protections for pet owners and their beloved dogs and pets.”
Nicola added in a statement to PEOPLE: “[I am] in so much shock and pain over my baby Nala suddenly passing last month following what should have been a routine grooming session.
“I posted the experience on my Instagram to bring awareness, and was heartbroken to hear the horrifying stories from so many others who have experienced the same tragedy. I can’t bear it. I’m outraged to hear how common stories like Nala’s are …
“[I want to] work for changes and laws to help make sure no one else ever has to experience this heartbreak … I’ve dedicated most of my life to saving dogs and I can’t in good conscience let this horrifying act happen to more families.”
