Adele ‘plans to take an extended break’

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele plans to “focus on her family” in 2025.
The 36-year-old singer is set to perform ten shows in Munich, Germany, throughout August – but Adele ultimately intends to put her music career on ice at the end of the year.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “She has had a busy few years since releasing her album 30 in 2021, and it has surpassed her expectations.
“Adele has had incredible opportunities and it’s been a dream come true. No other artist has ever done anything like this residency and she feels like it is a real moment of crowning glory.”
Adele – who has Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki – still has a few shows to perform in Las Vegas. But the award-winning star plans to step away from the spotlight next year.
The insider explained: “She has a few more dates in Las Vegas later this year, which were rearranged due to illness a few months back, but after that, she will be walking away from music for an extended break.
“It’s time to focus on her family and enjoying her life away from the spotlight again.”
Meanwhile, Rich Paul – Adele’s long-term partner – is making a new film about his life.
The 42-year-old sports agent – who began dating Adele back in 2021 – is working on a new feature film based on his memoir, ‘Lucky Me’.
A source previously told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Rich’s book has been a major success and his rise is a huge source of inspiration.
“He had a difficult childhood with a mother who struggled with drug addiction and a house in an area riddled with crime. But he managed to turn it all around.”

Being separated from my brother sucked, says Dylan Sprouse

OHMYGOSSIP — Dylan Sprouse missed his twin brother Cole Sprouse during his time on ‘Riverdale’.
The 31-year-old actor insists he wasn’t jealous of his sibling during his run on the hit TV show – but Dylan did feel sad that they were separated for so long.
During an appearance on ‘Andy Cohen Live’, Dylan explained: “I would say that the biggest thing that sucked was that I just didn’t get to see my brother as often. He was up in Vancouver filming that.”
Cole played Jughead Jones on ‘Riverdale’ between 2017 and 2023, and Dylan revealed that his brother struggled during the shoot.
The actor explained: “He wasn’t a huge fan, realistically, of the time spent up there, even though he loves his cast and crew he loves everybody.
“But it was a tough shoot, man. I think anyone would say that.”
Meanwhile, Dylan recently admitted that he and his brother are keen to work together more often – but they struggle to find suitable roles.
He said on ‘Live With Kelly and Mark’: “It’s usually pretty hokey. I remember Cole distinctly being kind of bitter about Tom Hardy being a twin [in 2015’s ‘Legend’]. He doesn’t like when people play two different real people.
“I looked at him, and I was like, ‘Cole, I don’t think they were looking for guys like us to play that role, anyway, if they’re hiring Tom Hardy.'”
Dylan also joked about the roles that he’d like to cast his twin in.
He said: “I thought it would be pretty funny to start casting him in roles where he gets killed in the movie a lot, the kind of ‘South Park’ Kenny.
“I thought that would be funny, where he’s on screen for five minutes and then explodes.”

Big Sean explains why he and Jhené Aiko haven’t tied the knot

OHMYGOSSIP — Big Sean says “there’s a lot of work that needs to be done” before he and Jhené Aiko get married.
The couple – who welcomed their first child together in 2022 – met in 2012, and have been dating off and on since 2016 but Sean isn’t sure if marriage is on the cards for them.
Speaking to Charlamange Tha God on a new episode of the ‘Out of Context’ podcast, Sean, 36, said: “No, no, there has not been a secret industry marriage.
“It’s a little personal, you know what I mean? But just like to be real with you, just like any people who have dealt with love, we’ve had our ups and downs, you know what I’m saying? And I think it’s still finding the right navigation through it all.”
“To me, marriage symbolises like the best relationship. I would like to, and I don’t like putting our personal business out there like that either, but there’s a lot of work that needs to be done.”
Charlamange offered some advice to Sean, saying: “Well take it from somebody who’s been with their woman for 26 years, right? It’s always gonna be ups and downs, period. The work’s never gonna stop.”
Speaking previously about their son Noah Hasani, Sean told PEOPLE: “He’s changed me in so many ways, honestly. But one of the ways that has really been a lesson that I’m still learning is to be even more intentional with everything. And just being in the moment. Even in nature. Like, on our walks. It’s definitely a learning process.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bette Midler “did it all” during her younger years.
The 78-year-old star has stressed that “you’re only young once” and Bette admitted that she “had a lot of boyfriends” when she was younger.
The award-winning star told The Hollywood Reporter: “You know, you’re only young once.
“I had such fun. I had a lot of boyfriends. We did it all. And it was great fun until it wasn’t. And then everything came to a screeching halt and life intervened.”
Bette dated Aaron Russo – her former manager who died in 2007, aged 64 – at one point in time, and the actress has admitted that she still misses him.
She shared: “I miss him. I think of him often. I never met anyone quite like him.
“I still meet people who say, ‘Oh, wasn’t he a gangster?’ And I say, ‘No, he was just this Jewish guy.’ Everyone thinks he was some Italian mobster.”
Meanwhile, Bette admitted earlier this year that her failed sitcom was a “big mistake”.
The actress starred in her own sitcom in 2000, but the show proved to be a flop and Bette looks back on the project with some regrets.
During an appearance on the ‘Fail Better’ podcast, Bette admitted: “It was a big, big mistake.”
Lindsay Lohan actually starred in the pilot episode of the show.
However, the Hollywood star subsequently withdrew from the project, and Bette views Lindsay’s exit as a major turning point for the show.
The veteran star explained: “Things happened that were so astonishing. I didn’t know those things could happen.
“For instance, Lindsay Lohan was cast as my daughter in the pilot. Well, after the pilot, Lindsay Lohan decided she didn’t want to do it. Or she had other fish to fry. So Lindsay Lohan left the building. and I said, ‘Well, now what do you do?'”

Almost one year after frontman Steven, 76, fractured his larynx during a September 2023 show, the band made the “heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision” to retire from touring, due to the severity of his injury.
Aerosmith said in a statement: “We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing. As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other. He has spent months tirelessly working on getting his voice to where it was before his injury. We’ve seen him struggling despite having the best medical team by his side. Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision – as a band of brothers – to retire from the touring stage.”
The statement went on to reflect on the band’s rock ‘n’ roll legacy and pay tribute to their loyal fans.
Aerosmith said: “It was 1970 when a spark of inspiration became Aerosmith. Thanks to you, our Blue Army, that spark caught flame and has been burning for over five decades. Some of you have been with us since the beginning and all of you are the reason we made rock ‘n’ roll history.

OHMYGOSSIP — Minke always knew she’d have to “share” Cara Delevingne with the world.
The ‘Favorite Part’ singer – whose real name is Leah Mason – has been dating the model-turned-actress for two years and while she’s not at ease in the spotlight, she’s very “proud” of her partner’s accomplishments and thinks they’ve struck a good balance between private and public.
She told Diva magazine: “Most of the time it’s just us at home with our cats.
“Obviously dating someone who is so talented and has so much to share, you do share her with the world. That’s something I knew going in.
“I’m so proud of her.
“I’m naturally a private person and I think we’re really happy with the balance we strike now with sharing things online but keep our lives as low key and normal as it is.”
The pair first met at school and Minke was “very flattered” to learn Cara had a crush on her back then.
She said: “She’s since said she had a baby crush on me. I am very flattered.
“I wasn’t as accelerated in my sexuality at that point.
“I remember really liking her but not really understanding too much what that was.”

Embarrassing dad Ralph Macchio

OHMYGOSSIP — Ralph Macchio’s kids finally think it is “pretty cool” that he was the Karate Kid.
The 62-year-old actor – who has Julia, 32, and Daniel, 28, with wife Phyllis Fierro – shot to fame playing Daniel LaRusso in 1984 blockbuster ‘The Karate Kid’ and his offspring used to find it embarrassing, although they appreciate it more now they are adults.
He said: “When they were little, they used to find it off that people would stand on one leg with their hands in the air doing the whole crane-kick thing when they saw Daddy.
“When they were old enough to understand, they were kind of embarrassed about all that stuff but now they’re grown up, they think it’s pretty cool. At least I hope they do!
“My wife is a palliative care nurse at a hospital, so she’s the real hero of the family, along with our kids.”
Ralph returned to the role for Netflix’s spin-off series ‘Cobra Kai’ and though he loves still playing the character, he admitted the physical scenes are tougher than they used to be.
He said: “Back in the 1980s, almost every scene involved Daniel getting his a** kicked, so I’m used to it by now.
“I’m always willing to take the hit, and me being a 98lb weakling, I often go flying.
“It hurts, especially at my age and it’s a little harder to do now than it used to be, but I try to get through it with a lot of stretching.”
And though ‘Cobra Kai’ is coming to an end, Ralph is excited to have another ‘Karate Kid’ movie in the pipeline.
He said: “We have shot a new ‘Karate Kid’ movie.
“I can’t tell you anything about it other than it Is coming out in 2025 and I’m really excited about it.
“It’s very much the continuation of some of the elements of ‘Cobra Kai’ and the original ‘Karate Kid’ movies.”

Ashley Roberts’ closest friend in Pussycat Dolls

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Roberts says Kimberly Wyatt is her closest friend in the Pussycat Dolls.
The pair knew each other even before they formed girl group with Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton and Ashley considers herself “Auntie Ashley” to Kimberly’s kids.
She told OK magazine: “I think if you go through anything for a significant amount of time it’s going to bond you, right? Something like the jungle [‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’] or ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ or whatever it may be, it bonds you with these people for years.
“I talk to some of the girls more than others. Kimberly and I actually were friends before we even got in the group together. So we’ve been friends, oh my God, for more than 20 years and gone through a lot together. She’s got three kids now. I’m Auntie Ashley! We probably see each other the most and we’re still really close friends. But everyone’s kind of doing their own thing now, as you do when you get to adulthood.”
Meanwhile, Ashley, 42, insisted she is settled in the UK and has no plans to move back to America.
She said: “Every now and then I pop back to LA, but I’m not going to be moving back there. I lived there for a significant amount of time but the UK feels so much more like home to me. It just feels more ‘me’. I resonate more with the people, the culture and the lifestyle.”

Maren Morris’ ‘bi-panic’

OHMYGOSSIP — Maren Morris suffered “bi-panic” after a date with a woman.
The 34-year-old singer/songwriter split from Ryan Hurd last year after five years of marriage and publicly came out as bisexual in June and Maren admitted she turned to her songwriting collaborators Muna, the “Professors of Gay” after a date with another woman.
She told Billboard: “I remember I had been on a date with this girl, and the date went amazing, but I had so many questions for Muna the next day. I truly felt like a student and I was with, like, the Professors of Gay. They were obviously so supportive, and it made this [new song ‘Push Me Over’] the easiest song to write. It just puts a pep in my step and I feel like I could have only written it with them.
“I was just kind of allowing myself to fall in love with people’s talent and not be like, ‘Oh my god, have I worked with them before? Do we have any mutual friends? Who would be a big name?’ I was just like, ‘Hey, are they the right person for the job?’”
Speaking about her decision to come out in June, Maren said: “I think it was one of those things where I thought, ‘Does this really require an Instagram post?’ It didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, this is going to be some big bombshell’. I just think that for any sort of public-facing artist that just, it does feel inclusive to let people know. Also, I get to feel like I’m really not hiding any part of myself any longer. So that makes me sleep better at night.”
And, Maren revealed that working on new album ‘Intermission’ was a great distraction from the “dumpster fire that was my life last fall” when her marriage was falling apart.
She said: “[Songwriting] was an amazing distraction from the dumpster fire that was my life last fall. I know that a lot of these songs pulled me through it, and that this is some of my most honest work.
“Everything in my life fell apart last year. Even the days where I could barely peel myself out of bed, I would still go to my session. My co-writers were like, ‘We can cancel,’ And I would say, ‘No, I can’t go home. It’s too depressing.’ I just had to push through.”

Pandora and Cressida, 35, share the same mother Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, 77, while aristocrat Esmond Cooper-Key was Pandora’s father.
Her death notice in The Times newspaper called Pandora a “beloved daughter”, “adored mother”, “much-loved sister and “devoted aunt”.
Sarcoma UK, a charity she supported, said on a fundraising page: “She was a beautiful spirit and an inspiration to so many.”
Kerry Reeves-Kneip, Director of Communications at Sarcoma UK, added: “Her openness about her journey helped raise crucial awareness about sarcoma and the challenges faced by patients. Pandora’s legacy extends far beyond her fundraising efforts; she touched countless lives with her warmth and resilience.
“On behalf of everyone at Sarcoma UK, I extend our deepest condolences to Pandora’s family, including her mother, Lady Mary, her sister, Cressida Bonas, her two sons, and all who loved her. She told the Daily Mail’s Femail: “It hasn’t been easy. It’s been so painful at times and so traumatic me and for my family. My mum keeps saying I should write a book, maybe one day.
“My family has been very supportive. We’re like rocks to each other. I’d feel lost without [them].
“My mum is amazing. She’s a proper queen bee to all of us and my relationship with my sisters and my brother [Jacobi Anstruther, Georgiana Anstruther, Isabella Branson and Cressida] is just… we’d do anything for each other.
“We tease each other a lot, but we really love each other.
“I can’t imagine not having such a lovely family, I don’t know how people cope. It’s been really nice for me to have them all and honestly, they did not leave me alone.”

Simone Biles overwhelmed with anxiety in Olympic Village

OHMYGOSSIP — Simone Biles was overwhelmed with anxiety in the Olympic Village.
The 27-year-old gymnast – who won gold in the all-around, vault, floor and team events as well as picking up bronze on balance beam at the Rio Olympics in 2016 before withdrawing from several events at the Tokyo 2020 games – admitted her anxiety was ramping up because she was the focus of so much attention from her fellow athletes.
She said in a TikTok video: “I’m really nervous, but that’s to be expected. I did have therapy this morning, so I feel a little bit better. I’ve just worked so hard, mentally, to get to this moment.
“I have not done much around the Olympic Village, and it’s because the first day we got here, and I got to the cafeteria and a lot of people were asking me for photos, like nonstop, and whenever I sat down to eat my anxiety was so bad I was shaking. [I was] so overwhelmed.
“I just go to the store, stock up on food, and just like, stay here because it gets me so anxious.”
Nine-time Olympic medalist Simone has already won gold with her USA teammates and individually with the all-around gymnastics title at the Paris Olympics and recently revealed that therapy has helped her “physically and mentally”.
She told Today’s Hoda Kotb: “I feel a lot more free, especially going to therapy and doing those sessions so that physically and mentally I feel better, and I know that’s an important part of my routine. So just staying on top of that, it lightens the load a lot.”

Jeff Goldblum ‘doesn’t mask his age’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Goldblum isn’t interested in trying to “mask” his age.
The 71-year-old actor hasn’t had any cosmetic surgery and Jeff insists that he’s happy to “accept” his age and how he looks.
The Hollywood star told the Guardian newspaper: “It’s kinda foolish to try to mask [your age]. To pretend just makes you look older and more foolish. Accept it. Present it.”
Jeff is still in high demand in the movie business, and the actor has admitted to feeling fortunate with where he’s at in his career.
The veteran star shared: “I’ve been lucky. I’m getting lucky opportunities, now more than ever, in all areas.”
Jeff is determined to make the most of his opportunities, even though he’s philosophical about everything he’s achieved.
The ‘Jurassic Park’ star said: “You gotta accept it.
“You do as well as you can with what you’re given. Get good sleep. Think good thoughts. Eat well. Exercise. But beside that, no! It’s all going. And what you do with that is a big question.”
Despite his success, Jeff previously admitted that he “falls way short in many things”.
The actor – who has also enjoyed some success as a musician – still considers himself to be a “humble student”.
Jeff told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m not good at everything. I’m a humble student. I fall way short in many things, but I try not to be irritated.
“I try to take it as a humbling lesson and an opportunity to grow.
“I can think of a million things. I’m not a bad packer – although I leave it till the last minute – but I’m a horrible folder. I’m not a very good cook. I’m not particularly handy around the house. I have a bad sense of direction. I’m not good with technology.”
