James Norton still hoping for ‘family and relationship’ after split

OHMYGOSSIP — James Norton is still hoping to have a “family and a relationship” following the breakdown of his relationship with fiancee Imogen Poots.
The ‘Little Women’ star started dating the ’28 Weeks Later’ actress back in 2018 and they got engaged in 2022 but split last year, and James admits he didn’t have “control” over certain choices in his life but he’s still hoping to find love and settle down.
He told The Sunday Times newspaper: “Getting older is a struggle if you are freaking out about the choices you’ve made, but I don’t carry regret. And, you know, some of the choices recently weren’t mine, yet I don’t feel begrudging. Maybe next year I’ll have a family and a relationship …
“You have a certain amount of control over your life and choices you make, and at other times you don’t. But if you made those choices or not, it’s a shame to spend time agonising over either.”
He added of his dream to become a dad one day: “I don’t sit on set where I’m playing a dad and feel sad and broody. I love hanging out with kids – most of my friends have kids so I’m not quite in step with my peers – but the past few years have been the busiest I’ve been, so it would not have been fair to bring a child into that.
“Also, the inherently unfair benefit of being a man is there is less rush. I am lucky I can have kids later, so now I’m happy, actually, with my life. I feel really excited by the choices I’ve made.”
In the interview James also opened up about the bullying he suffered at school and revealed he took on a role in the play ‘A Little Life’ – playing a man who was abused when he was younger – in a bid to conquer his demons.
However, James found the role wasn’t as cathartic as he hoped it would be. He told the publication: “I thought if I put my bullied child on stage, I’d get rid of him. It would be a moment of exorcism, but it wasn’t. And so every day, I just thought, it’s not working. There is no getting rid of that voice. Or the self-doubt. There is no killing that child.”
He previously opened up about his troubled youth during an appearance on the ‘Comfort Eating’ podcast revealing he was bullied at boarding school and there was no getting away from his tormentors.
He said: “My school years were complicated. I didn’t have the greatest time. I was quite badly bullied for five years and I was at boarding school so I couldn’t leave.
“I’ve had a great therapist for the last four years, and it’s not from a place of drama. And I’m luckily not suffering from depression or anything like that but it’s been really, really helpful to understanding what [happened to me at school].
He added: “I’ve realised that boarding schools are really weird places. We’re the only country that still sends our kids away voluntarily.
“You’re stuck with these people, and all these young kids are just deeply, deeply homesick and they’re just lost. For some of them, that pain manifests itself in being needy or rebellious.
“But some of them get angry and rather than crying out for their mum they just bully someone.”

Brianna LaPaglia won’t remove tattoo

OHMYGOSSIP — Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia won’t erase her Zach Bryan tattoo.
The ‘Barstool Sports’ host has the phase ‘how lucky are we’ inked on her arm and because the words also feature in a line from the country star’s song ’28’, many fans had speculated she would have it removed in the wake of their break-up last month, but the 25-year-old podcaster has insisted it isn’t necessary because the line was always her “thing”.
She said in a TikTok video: “I see a lot of people being like: ‘Well now I have to get my ‘how lucky are we’ tattoo removed.
“That was my thing.
“That’s my tattoo. Now, we’re matching, OK? Don’t get it removed. It’s OK, this is mine, ‘how lucky are we,’ that was me,'”
Brianna previously admitted she got the tattoo following a “very drunk” trip to Las Vegas with friends.
and the 28-year-old singer also got a tattoo to remind him of Brianna – which he got even before it was official between the pair.
She said on her ‘BFFs’ podcast: “After that weekend [when he went to Oklahoma], we spent three days together, I think two or three days later, he got me tattooed on his arm.”
Following the end of the couple’s year-long relationship, Brianna accused Zach of emotional abuse and claimed he had offered her $12 million to keep quiet about his alleged behaviour, which she declined.
Speaking on her podcast last week, she told co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richard: ‘”The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude.
“I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him.
“My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared.”
Brianna claimed the ‘Heading South’ singer asks his exes to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and suggested he pays them to keep quiet about their time together.
She said: “The second he posted [the break-up announcement], I was like ‘f*** you, I don’t want a settlement, that’s not me.’ It was a back-and-forth, his team would call me.
“They gave me all these options, they started low and then they went up to $10m, then $12m. Then they wanted to give me a house, then they wanted to give me a New York apartment. They wanted to do all these things…
“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice but to take money from you.
“[They] signed their experiences and what they went through away [so] you get to go skip off and sing you little f*** songs on stage like you’re a good dude.”

Cher recalls Playboy Mansion visit with drunk, naked John Lennon

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher had to act like John Lennon’s “mother” when he stripped naked at the Playboy Mansion.
The ‘Believe’ hitmaker was good friends with Hugh Hefner so agreed to the late Beatles legend and his pal Harry Nilsson’s request to take them to the media mogul’s infamous house for one of his casual Sunday evening get togethers – but was embarrassed by their drunken antics.
In an extract from ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ serialised by the Daily Mail newspaper, she wrote: “Walking into an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles one Sunday evening I bumped into John Lennon and his friend Harry Nilsson and they asked if I could take them to Hugh Hefner’s house for movie night. ‘John’s dying to see the Playboy Mansion,’ Harry pleaded.
“Hef held parties all the time, many of which became notorious as drunken orgies with some of the Playmates, but his Sunday movie nights were calm and casual affairs for friends to enjoy cocktails and dinner before watching a new release.
“I didn’t have anything else going on that night in 1974 so I agreed to drive them to Hef’s and realised too late that they were drunker than I’d thought.
“There were about 50 people there and just as the movie was about to start, the two of them put on aristocratic English accents and started chanting, ‘Hef! Hef! Hef!’ except with the accents it sounded like ‘Huff! Huff! Huff!’.
“Mortified, I could tell Hef was starting to get annoyed.
” ‘Stop that!’ I told them. ‘Come with me.’ It was like I became the mother and they were two 14-year-old boys.”
Cher, now 78, took her pals out into the grounds before leaving them briefly to get a drink – and it didn’t take the two singers long to shock her even more.
She continued: “Giggling and falling over each other, John and Harry followed me out into the grounds. Sitting them down inside the infamous Grotto – it was like a huge cave that one end of the swimming pool went into – I went to find a drink and when I came back they were standing in the middle of the Grotto naked but still in the water, thank God.
” ‘This is not pretty what I’m seeing,’ I said when they started to emerge from the pool. ‘Guys, please do not come out.’
“I was trying not to laugh, but it was impossible not to as they threatened to wander around the mansion naked.
“It took me ages to get them back in their clothes. It was like herding drunks.”

Kerry Katona still engaged to Ryan Mahoney after declaring she’s ‘single’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona is still engaged to Ryan Mahoney despite previously declaring herself to be “single”.
The Atomic Kitten star recently sparked reports suggesting she’d split from her fitness trainer fiance when she posted a comment on Instagram next to a video of her and her mum Sue talking to a doctor – and Kerry is adamant she was joking about being single in a bid to cheer her mum up as she battles ill health.
In her column for OK! magazine, Kerry explained: “I’m sure you’ll have all read the ‘news’ about me splitting up with Ryan after I flippantly said I was single on my Instagram to make my mum laugh.
“It was a throwaway comment that I made between my mum, my best friend Danielle and me but it all spiralled out of control. If you watch the video on my Instagram, you can hear us talking to the doctor and Danielle left a funny comment underneath asking if he was single. To try and cheer my mum up, I said that I was – but with a laughing face.”
Kerry went on to add: “I made a joke but, like any couple, Ryan and I do have hard times and our ups and downs. Sometimes we’re just hanging on by the skin of our teeth but that’s often what happens in a relationship.
“We’ve got a lot more than usual to deal with at the moment, like the kids at home, outside drama and looking after my poorly mum.”
Kerry made the comment about her relationship status after her pal wrote a message asking if the doctor shown in the video is single and the former singer replied: “No, but I am!”
Sue has been spending time in hospital after clots were found on on her lungs and Kerry has now revealed she’s been staying at her mum’s house to take care of her cat.
She added: “It’s been a busy week for me, taking care of my mum and making sure I still spend time with my family. I’ve been staying at mum’s home to look after her cat but I knew the kids were missing me, so I made sure to spend time with them on Bonfire Night.
“When I’m not at the hospital with my mum though, I make sure to FaceTime her.”

Luke Evans came out to Gemma Arterton

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Evans came out as gay to Gemma Arterton and she “had his back” when he felt under pressure to keep his personal life secret.
The 45-year-old actor met the Bond girl when he was cast as her love interest in 2010 movie ‘Tamara Drewe’ and he later had a candid chat with her confessing the “friend” named Lee who visited him during filming was actually his boyfriend – and he credits Gemma with being incredibly supportive.
In his book ‘Boy from the Valleys: An Unexpected Journey’, Luke wrote: “When I started working in movies, it suddenly became an issue again because at that time you just didn’t get openly gay actors playing straight romantic leads …
“[My] sexuality became a ‘thing’ to be handled and strategised, rather than simply being just another aspect of my identity, like having green eyes or being Welsh.”
He admitted when Lee came to visit during filming he introduced him as his “friend” but he later told the truth to Gemma.
Luke added: “Our bedrooms were next to each other in our hotel and when I confessed that Lee was actually my boyfriend she said with a smile: ‘Honey, I’m in the room next door – I know!’
“It was such a relief to be able to be open with her and know that she had my back regardless, because she knew how the industry worked and the pressure I was under. The big American studios were still very much of the ‘a man is a man’ mindset.”
It comes after Luke admitted moving to London as a teenager after growing up in Wales helped him feel more “free” as a gay man because he relished the anonymity that comes with living in a big city.
Speaking to The Independent, Luke shared: “You could almost disappear. “That’s the reason London appealed to me when I was a young man. You want to find your community, and often where [gay people] are brought up, there isn’t one, or there’s shame, or there’s secrets.
“To feel free, and to feel part of something, you go to a big city where you’ll find people like you. It’s what gay people have done for decades and will keep on doing. Though I do hope that these smaller villages and cities are a bit more accepting now.”

Art Garfunkel cried during reunion with Paul Simon

OHMYGOSSIP — Art Garfunkel broke down in tears during a reunion lunch with his longtime collaborator Paul Simon.
Folk-rock duo Simon and Garfunkel officially split in 1970 and re-teamed for reunion shows over the years but the pair went on to fall out and they haven’t shared a stage together since 2010 – and Art admits he “hurt” his friend by talking badly about him in interviews.
During an interview with The Sunday Times newspaper, Art revealed he got emotional as they discussed their relationship over a recent lunch. He explained: “I actually had lunch with Paul a couple of weeks back. First time we’d been together in many years. I looked at Paul and said, ‘What happened? Why haven’t we seen each other?’
“Paul mentioned an old interview where I said some stuff. I cried when he told me how much I had hurt him. Looking back, I guess I wanted to shake up the nice guy image of Simon and Garfunkel. Y’know what? I was a fool!”
Art went on to reveal the pair are planning to meet up again and he’s determined to “make amends before it’s too late”.
He said: “We’ve made plans to meet again. Will Paul bring his guitar? Who knows. For me, it was about wanting to make amends before it’s too late.
“It felt like we were back in a wonderful place. As I think about it now, tears are rolling down my cheeks. I can still feel his hug.”
It comes after Art admitted he missed his former school friend in a recent interview with The Telegraph newspaper and explained he’d love for them to be able to perform together again.
He said: “I miss Paul. Any difficulties are not worth clinging to, life is short, and the positive side of Simon and Garfunkel is there waiting to be related to. I would love to sing with him.”
Art and his son Art Garfunkel Jr.’s new album, ‘Father and Son’, is out now.

Linda Evangelista barely left the house for five years

OHMYGOSSIP — Linda Evangelista spent five years “hibernating” because she hated the way she looked.
The 59-year-old supermodel – who previously sued CoolSculpting for $50 million after being left “permanently disfigured” by a fat-freezing procedure in 2016 – lost her confidence and couldn’t bear to look at herself, so she barely left the house other than to walk her dog at “obscure times” or if her 18-year-old son Augustin needed her to.
Speaking during a presentation at the WWD Apparel and Retail CEO Summit, she said: “I was just so unhappy in my own skin.
“I’ve done a lot of therapy since, but I spent years and years focusing on my looks. My self worth and value became about my looks, and I felt flawed. I didn’t love myself, and I didn’t understand why anybody would love me if I didn’t like being with myself or looking at myself.”
During that time, Linda underwent a double mastectomy in 2018 after being diagnosed with breast cancer, only to contract the disease again four years later.
She underwent both chemotherapy and radiation treatment and even now still has to take a “horrible” medicine, but she is just grateful to be alive.
she said: “But I celebrate every day that I’m here.”
After making her return to the runway after 15 years away with a 2022 Fendi show, Linda teamed up with Steven Meisel for a book of her most iconic fashion images, and the response she received from the public helped her regain her confidence and rethink her ideas of beauty.
She said: “When I hit that book tour right after the Fendi fashion show, the people in line first to have their book signed were so emotional and shaking and crying.
“Then I did book talks, and I saw the love there, and I couldn’t believe how much support was out there for me. [I wish I] had known that people aren’t as vain as I was then, that they would accept me the way I was and that there is support and love for me as a human being, not just a model.
“I really get what beauty is, and it’s not what I thought it was. It’s deeper than that, and people aren’t as fickle as I thought.”

Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Talulah Riley love rural life

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Talulah Riley want to be “as self-sufficient as possible”.
The couple – who married in June after meeting on the set of ‘Pistol’ in 2022 – left London after the COVID-19 pandemic and are “slowly building” their own farm, where the ‘Love Actually’ actor hopes they can produce all the food they need one day.
He told Telegraph magazine: “We just kind of involve ourselves with the local community, go for walks, and we’re slowly building up a farm. We’ve got 12 chickens, ducks, sheep… I spend my time in the rain building chicken coops. I love it. The idea is to grow our own, to be as self-sufficient as possible.”
Asked if his motivation is “the end of the world”, he said: “That’s one of them. And satisfaction, of putting a seed in and growing it. The whole process. I think having your own meat is important too. I don’t really want to do any killing, but that’s part of eating meat. So I thought it’d be interesting to try.”
But the former ‘Game of Thrones’ star admitted he and his wife are still close enough to London to enjoy the city if rural life gets “too much”.
He said: “We both live in a bygone era… But then, when that gets too much, we are 37 minutes from London and can go to a fancy party.”
Thomas would “love” to have children with his wife and looks forward to raising his family on the farm.
He said: “I’d make them appreciate everything. I think the world’s got very complicated, but it’s just going back to being aware of stuff a bit more. Where things have come from, how they’re made…”
The 39-year-old actress was previously married to Elon Musk between 2010 and 2012 and 2013 to 2016, and Thomas, 34, gets on “very well” with the tech mogul.
He said: “I’ve only met him a handful of times, but we’ve always got on very well.”
But unlike the Space X founder, the former child star isn’t a big social media fan.
He said: “I have Instagram, but Twitter [X] I don’t know how to get into any more. I think someone hacked mine. I’ve never had any interest in it… I like to stay in my own bubble and just be updated.”

Liam Payne suspect breaks silence

OHMYGOSSIP — A man accused of supplying drugs to Liam Payne before his death has insisted he “never” gave him narcotics.
The former One Direction singer passed away on 16 October after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina, with a partial autopsy finding traces of pink cocaine – a mixture of methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA — in his system, as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack and local police have three people under investigation over the ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker’s death.
One of the men, waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz, has now broken his silence and admitted to taking drugs with the star, but denied being the supplier as he claimed Liam was already under the influence when they met for the first time at his workplace on 2 October.
Speaking on Argentina’s ‘Telefe Noticias’ TV show, he said: “I never supplied Liam with drugs.
“Liam’s first contact with me was at my place of work.
“We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal. He came down from his hotel room to fetch me because I had got lost.
“We got together there and he showed me some of the music he was going to bring out.
“I’ve heard people saying he was taking drugs but the truth is that when he got to the restaurant where I was working he was already under the effects of drugs and he didn’t actually eat anything.
“There was a moment when he approached me and asked me for my contact details. I gave him an Instagram and afterwards he sent me messages because he wanted to take drugs although he had already consumed narcotics.
“It was October 2. While I was in his room we had some whisky shots.”
The 24 year old returned to the CasaSur Palermo Hotel to meet with Liam again on 13 October, where he admitted they “took drugs together” before the ‘Story of my Life’ singer offered Braian his own clothes as a souvenir.
Braian continued: “We spent the night together, we consumed drugs because the truth is that something intimate happened.
“He wasn’t aggressive at all, he behaved really well with me, he was really sweet. He asked me if I was OK.
“I’ve got all the messages where we arranged that second meeting. I haven’t erased anything.”
“We took drugs together but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money.
“I have messages where he’s offering me money because he was apparently used to offering money for everything but I never accepted anything.
“When I left he wanted to give me some clothes so that I had a memory of being with him but I left it behind the TV because I didn’t want to take it. It was some grey jogging bottoms and a T-shirt.
“I told Liam a best friend of mine wanted to meet him because he was a fan.
“He said: ‘Yes’ and after I went, he appeared outside the place where I lived and managed to get halfway into the building and wanted us to go back to his hotel, but I told him I couldn’t because I had to go to work.
“I was due to start at 11.30am but I had to arrive beforehand.
“That was the last time I saw him. He got into his taxi and left.”

Miranda Kerr’s baby son named after late grandfather

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr’s youngest son was named after her late grandfather.
The 41-year-old model and her husband Evan Spiegel welcomed little Pierre into the world in February and she explained the couple chose the tot’s moniker to pay tribute to her grandad Pete, who died of cancer in February 2021, just a few weeks before his wife Ann passed away.
Speaking to People magazine, Miranda said: “His name is Pierre after my late grandfather, Peter. So French for Peter.”
The KORA Organics founder – who also has Flynn, 13 with ex-husband Orlando Bloom, 47, and Hart, six, and five-year-old Myles with Evan – hailed the latest addition to her family a “ray of sunshine” and she takes great pleasure in seeing how much his brothers “adore” the tot.
She said: “He’s just a little ray of sunshine and his brothers just adore him.
“And when you’re having a new baby coming into the home, you often wonder, you’re like: ‘Oh, how are the boys going to react?’ But they adore him.
“Ever since I was pregnant with Pierre, [Myles] would kiss my stomach every day and now he continues to kiss and hug his brother every day because that’s how much he adores being a big brother.”
In June, Miranda declared her family to be “complete”.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: “Growing up, I was a bit of a tomboy. I would often watch my dad fix V8 car engines and fit hotdogs [mufflers] on to exhausts, but I always knew I wanted to be a mother.
“Now I have four children. My newest little son really completes our family. I feel so blessed to have him.”
Although Evan is the co-founder of Snapchat, Miranda revealed the tech mogul “avoids screens” at all times, so the family bond over music rather than movies or TV shows.
Asked if there’s a cinema room in their house, she said: “No, my husband avoids screens at all times. He grew up without a TV.
“His mother told him that if he wanted a computer, he would have to make it himself. So he went to the store, bought all the parts and did.
“We love to blast music in our house and have dance parties all the time. We’re big fans of Shania Twain and Stevie Nicks.”

Olivia Williams feels ‘even more disinhibited’ following cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Williams has lost her inhibitions since being diagnosed with cancer.
The ‘Sixth Sense’ star was diagnosed with rare neuroendocrine cancer – which is slow-growing and can occur anywhere in the digestive tract – in 2018 after four years of symptoms and she admitted she cares much less about what people think of her now as she’s more aware of her own mentality.
She told The Observer magazine: “Since 2018, I feel the disinhibition kicked in.
“So watch out, because I’m even more disinhibited, or less inhibited, than I was.
“I’m a great believer in denial. I think that’s how I’m coping.
“I think I am a bit more courageous in that. I’m a bit more blunt…
“Because how bad can it be? You’re going to die, so it doesn’t matter.”
The 56-year-old actress is grateful the primary tumour in her pancreas hasn’t returned but she has needed multiple operations on her liver to “zap” fresh growths.
She said: “It was quite obviously bad news to find I had a 7x4cm tumour in my pancreas, but it was really f****** awful news that it had gone to my liver, which is the problem now.
“The primary cancer they cut out hasn’t come back. I have a third of a functioning pancreas, which is great, but the liver ones keep popping up.
“But every now and then, I have to zap these metastases.”
The ‘Dune: Prophecy’ star spoke of how “dehumanising” the process of getting insured for work has become because the experts don’t even “look” at her.
She said: “My insurance meetings are hilarious.
“They don’t look at you. They don’t see you. They don’t take it from the doctor that you’re a walking, talking human being.
“They’re just on to the oncologist every day, going, ‘How can you guarantee that this person isn’t going to die during production?’ ”

Rap star Diddy makes new bail request

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has made a new request for bail.
The 55-year-old rapper is currently behind bars in New York City after he was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution – but earlier this month, his attorneys filed a new motion requesting bail, arguing that new evidence justifies him being released ahead of his trial.
In the latest motion for bail – which has been seen by PEOPLE – Combs’ legal team have described the prosecution’s case as “thin”.
What’s more, the legal team have questioned the relevance of a 2016 CCTV video in which the music mogul appears to violently assault a woman in a Los Angeles hotel.
In the filing, Combs’ legal team explain: “The video is not evidence of a coerced ‘freak off,’ but rather a minutes-long glimpse into a complex but decade-long consensual relationship between Mr. Combs and Victim 1.”
Combs – who has pleaded not guilty to the charges – has already been denied bail by two different federal judges. But his attorneys insist that their latest proposal is “far more robust than the previous” one.
Combs’ lawyers previously requested that the rapper be freed on bond, pending trial, after paying a sum of $50 million.
However, following a lengthy debate between legal teams on whether Combs represented a flight risk, Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky announced that the rap star will remain in detention until his trial begins.
Marc Agnifilo, his attorney, later explained that the music star is determined to “establish his innocence”.
Agnifilo told reporters: “He’s going to fight this. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence.
“We believe in him wholeheartedly. He didn’t do these things. There’s no coercion and no crime.”

Pamela Anderson’s life changed with documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson believes her Netflix documentary was a “turning point”.
The ‘Baywatch’ actress got to tell her own story in 2023’s ‘Pamela Anderson: A Love Story’, and she believes showing “authenticity and vulnerability” helped people to see her in a different way and led to her current career resurgence.
She told Best magazine: “The documentary was a turning point.
“Showing a certain kind of authenticity and vulnerability is something that people tell me they responded to.
“I’m so happy to celebrate that and to bring that to my character in ‘The Last Showgirl’.
“Shelley as a character is a parallel of who I was, of who I am now, and how I’ve been able to show the real me for the first time in my life.”
While the 57-year-old star thinks her part in ‘The Last Showgirl’ is “the role of a lifetime”, Pamela doesn’t think she could have done it justice until now.
She said: “Shelley is the role of a lifetime. It’s the kind of role I always wanted but never had the chance to play.
“I was always too young, too underestimated or just too busy making the wrong choices.
“But I couldn’t have played Shelley without the lifetime of experiences and the journey I have been on.
“It’s like it was all meant to lead here.”
Pamela – who has sons Brandon and Dylan with ex-husband Tommy Lee – acknowledged she has made “mistakes” in her life but she’s got no regrets.
Asked if she regrets anything, she said: “No, not really. Have I made mistakes? Of course. But I don’t have many regrets. It was exciting.
“I would maybe do some things differently, tackled certain things more but you can’t really regret things in life like that.
“I’m proud to be here now doing things I love.
“I’m proud to be a mother to my two sons and grateful to have the energy to do everything I’m doing now and next.
“I’m excited for the future more than I am looking back with any regret.”

Dua Lipa heartbroken after cancelling gig due to safety issues

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa is heartbroken after being forced to cancel a concert over safety concerns.
The 29-year-old singer was due to perform in Jakarta, Indonesia over the weekend as part of the Asian leg of her Radical Optimism tour but she has axed the gig due to concerns about the staging.
She wrote on Instagram: “I am heartbroken to share that I won’t be able to perform in Jakarta this Saturday, November 9.
“I am there in your amazing country and ready to perform, but I am gutted to share that it has been determined that it is not safe for the performance to carry on due to safety issues with the staging.
“I was so looking forward to this night, and it truly pains me that we cannot perform for you all, especially after such a long time since my last performance in Jakarta.
“Refunds will be made from your point of purchase. I love you all and truly can’t wait to be back together in the same room with you singing and dancing our hearts out as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, it was recently speculated that Dua is set to release a live album.
The pop star took to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in London last month, and it has now been revealed not only has the show been filmed for a television special, but will also will be released as a standalone record.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Dua wanted to give something back to her fans after an amazing year. She’s dabbled with live releases before, such as with her Brit Awards performance but this is the first time she will release a full live album.
“It’s expected to be announced in the coming weeks.”
Dua’s setlist at the Royal Albert Hall was made up of hits such as ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Be the One’, as well ‘Dance the Night’ from ‘Barbie’ and she even performed a duet of ‘Cold Heart’ with Sir Elton Jonn.
It is thought that ‘An Audience with Dua Lipa’ will air on ITV1 at some point before the festive period is out, and that the ‘Training Season’ hitmaker will follow in the footsteps of Adele and Kylie Minogue with the special, but unlike her predecessors, she will not be taking questions from the audience.

Emily Watson’s upbringing in a cult-like group helped her to prepare for Dune: Prophecy

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Watson’s upbringing in a cult-like group helped her to prepare for ‘Dune: Prophecy’.
In HBO’s prequel series to the ‘Dune films’, Emily, 57, plays Valya Harkonnen, leader of a controlling religious sect, and she admitted that her childhood in the School of Economic Science sect was a similar experience.
She told Vulture: “It’s in my wheelhouse, really. I was feeling the sense of young lives being controlled and a sense of appropriation. People end up in those places because they have a kind of damage. That was my way into it. I thought, I grew up with people who had that kind of presence.”

Speaking about what she was taught in the SES, Emily said: “No sex outside marriage, marriages for young women encouraged with older men, live at home until you’re married or with a family. We were told that ‘women can hold hands to change the world,’ which I absolutely believe to be true. But then we were encouraged to become mothers, nurses, and teachers. Independence was frowned upon.
“Needless to say, I wasn’t a very good student and did none of the above. I was, in part, protected from it because my parents were removed from it emotionally. We were a very strong unit as a family. Probably all religions have this, but when people are given power — and when you have power over children — it can get out of hand so easily. The day school was very new, and it was a very new organiSation that didn’t have any sense of governance. The whole thing started back in the ’40s. My dad joined when he was 18, so I think in the late ’50s. There are still things I’m grateful for, but there were a lot of things that were not right. All of us were desperate to be normal kids. We felt like we were on the outside looking in because we went to this strange setup.”
However, she did take some positives from her time in the group.
Emily said: “I learned about the idea of there being a unifying force of love in everything and that everything is a version of that. I’m also able to concentrate, to really hyperfocus. I’ve got one of those slightly odd brains, possibly because I learned to concentrate out of fear.
“Doing your utter best meant being okay. There was very much a discipline of being in the present moment and being connected to your senses, which is massively helpful as an actor.”

Bhad Bhabie’s cancer shock

OHMYGOSSIP — Bhad Bhabie has blamed “cancer medication” for her recent weight loss.
The 21-year-old rapper – who shot to fame during her viral appearance on ‘Dr. Phil’ in 2016 with her ‘Cash me outside, how bout dah?’ catchphrase – took to Instagram to hit back at concerns about her weight loss and revealed she is taking cancer medication.
She wrote: “I’m sorry my cancer medication made me loose [sic] weight. Im slowly gaining it back. So stop running w the worst narratives.”
While the star – whose real name is Danielle Bregoli – did not go into detail about her illness, a family source confirmed to TMZ that she has cancer and is under the care of a doctor.
Additionally, her mother Barbara Ann Bregoli took to her own Instagram account to hit out at blogger Perez Hilton for his comments on her daughter’s diagnosis.
She fumed: “[I’m] pretty heated right now at Mario, AKA Perez Hilton for going on YouTube and talking about my daughter releasing on her Instagram Story about her having cancer and saying he wouldn’t pass it by her that she was making it up.
“How dare you,’ you little vile piece of s*** say my daughter would lie about something like that. Okay? You’re a dad!
“Go find another way to make some money beside talking s*** about other people. How dare you. And, I pray to God that none of your children never get cancer, okay? I’ve had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking this.”
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Bhad Bhabie and her partner Le Vaughn welcomed their first child.
