Andrea Bocelli reflects on Kardashian wedding performances that ignited Kim and Kourtney feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrea Bocelli got “big satisfaction” from singing at the weddings of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian.
The 66-year-old tenor sang for reality superstar Kim when she tied the knot with Kanye West in 2014 and then again for her sister Kourtney when she married Blink-182 rocker Travis Barker in 2022 and found it an honour to be chosen to perform for each of the siblings on their special days.
He told US TV show ‘Extra’: “If they choose your voice for their wedding, it’s a beautiful thing. I think it’s a big satisfaction for me.”
Despite being delighted at being able to sing for each of ‘The Kardashians’ stars, his dual involvement sparked something of a feud between the sisters at the time, when Kim – who has North, 11, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, five, with Kanye, who she divorced in 2021 – became furious that Kourtney had “copied” her own wedding.
Speaking on ‘The Kardashians’, she said: “Kim said: “I got married in Italy. Am I saying you copied me by getting married in Italy? Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my f******* wedding country and my wedding performer! Andrea Bocelli is my favourite male singer of all time.”
Shortly after the drama unfolded in scenes of the Hulu reality show, Andrea himself quipped that he was “flattered” to be so “loved” by the sisters as he gave his son a shoutout.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: “Dear @kimkardashian and @kourtneykardash. I’m so flattered that you both love my voice and I’ll always be happy to sing for you. But know that there’s a younger and far more helpful artist @matteobocelli who your mother @krisjenner also knows very well … See you soon in Tuscany!”

Jennifer Coolidge makes frank admission about money as she reveals what she spends her fortune on

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Coolidge “overpays” for everything.
The 63-year-old actress had a sporadic run in Hollywood after appearing as Stifler’s Mom in ‘American Pie’ in 1999 and in recent years has enjoyed a massive career resurgence thanks to her Emmy Award-winning role in ‘White Lotus’ but admitted that she is not particularly shrewd with money and has never been “lucky” enough to find good deals.
She told Us Weekly: “To be honest, I’m not a thrifty person in any way. I mean, I prefer to overpay for everything. … I have these friends who are able to find this great bargain stuff. I’m not lucky that way.”
The ‘Shotgun Wedding’ star – who also appeared in early 2000s hits such as ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘A Cinderella Story’ – has a reported net worth of $6 million but has “no regrets” on the way she spends her money and would rather spend it on treating her friends.
She said: “Taking my friends and my dogs out to dinner. I love to do either one. I have no regrets.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer was asked about some “misconceptions” that others have about her and revealed that despite what people may think, she can “run really fast” and she also denied rumours that her house is haunted.
She said: “I can run really fast! People don’t know that! [And] I have this sort of big house in New Orleans and everyone has these stories of these scary things that happened to my house and I haven’t heard these stories. It’s so funny how people have these fake haunted stories about my house. You know, I live in the house [and] I would definitely have seen that little girl with a bouncing ball going down my staircase.”

Jodie Turner-Smith admits it’s tough co-parenting in the public eye

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Turner-Smith admits co-parenting in the public eye isn’t easy, but she is doing her “best”.
The 38-year-old actress split from her 46-year-old ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actor husband Joshua Jackson – the father of her four-year-old daughter Juno – last year after four years of marriage.
And as she and her ex are celebrities, there is the added pressure of trying to get “everything” right when it comes to parenting because everything is public, even though everyone makes mistakes.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “You’ve got to just think about your kids.
“And when you’re parenting in the public eye, everything that you do – eventually, there’s a record of it. You don’t want your kids to read anything and think anything.”
On the secret to co-parenting, she added: “It’s just about — centre the children and that’s all you can do. Nobody gets everything right but at least when you know you’re focused on the right thing, you know you’re gonna do your best.”
It’s not the first time Jodie has discussed co-parenting with Joshua.
She recently told Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year issue – for which she received the Screen Trailblazer award – that: “It’s an adjustment period for anyone when they split up with someone, because you’re used to being with your child all the time.
“But nobody hands you a manual. Everyone’s trying to figure it out.
“Each parent has a different life, and especially if the reason why you’re splitting up is because you have different lives, it’s only further complicated by how you’re going to co-parent.”
She also told the publication she is in no rush to go looking for love again.
Jodie declared: “I’m actually not dating, I’m over men.”
While Jodie is happily single, Joshua has been romantically linked with Lupita Nyong’o but the ‘Queen and Slim’ actress insisted she shouldn’t have an opinion on what her ex-husband is doing now, so long as any partners are “good” to her and their daughter.
She said: “He can do whatever he wants.
“Just be good to Juno and be good to Juno’s mum, because I’m going to be Juno’s mum forever.
“It’s really not for me to have an opinion on his journey.”

Queen Camilla returning to duties today – but will miss Gladiator II premiere

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Camilla will return to public duties on Tuesday (12.11.24) – but will not attend the ‘Gladiator II’ premiere on Wednesday (13.11.24) to aid her recovery from a seasonal chest infection.
The 77-year-old royal pulled out of her engagements on November 5 after falling ill but will return in some capacity to duties this week.
Buckingham Palace has now confirmed that the 77-year-old royal will make an appearance at the Booker Prize reception at Clarence House later today (12.11.24), but it will be a shorter than planned visit with minimal interactions with guests to protect them.
The following day, she has a reception with King Charles at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the TV and film industry in the UK, with guests from various parts of the sector, including directors, actors, stunt performers, presenters, and costume designers, set to attend, but she won’t be staying on for the whole event.
Despite previously confirming she would attend the ‘Gladiator II’ premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Wednesday (13.11.24), she will no longer be in attendance.
Camilla will also not be alongside the king for an official engagement to mark his 76th birthday on Thursday (14.11.24), according to The Telegraph.
On doctors’ orders, the queen missed the Remembrance Sunday (10.11.24) service at the Cenotaph.
A Palace spokesperson had said: “Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest.
“With great regret, Her Majesty has therefore had to withdraw from her engagements for this week, but she very much hopes to be recovered in time to attend this weekend’s Remembrance events as normal.
“She apologises to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result.”

‘Londoner forever’ Tom Hardy will never move to Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy will never be tempted by a move to Los Angeles.
The ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ star – who has three children from different relationships – might have starred in Hollywood blockbusters but he insists there is nowhere in the world he’d rather be than in his beloved London with his family.
He told Best UK magazine: “Because I’m a Londoner forever.
“My family is in London, my kids are in London so a permanent move to the States is just out of the question.”
The 47-year-old actor plays antihero Venom/Eddie Brock in the titular Marvel trilogy but if he could be a superhero in real life, the doting dad would want to be Super Dad.
He said: “I’d like to be Super Dad and just be present and right. That’s it. That’s the most important thing.”
Tom says playing Venom has been particularly special because he has been able to bond with his son over his love of Marvel.
Asked if it’s made him a “cool dad”, he replied: “I hope so.
“My son being a Marvel fan helped me learn a lot about this incredible universe.
“It’s great to do something he can enjoy.”
The ‘Bikeriders’ star says he can relate to his character having an “inner voice” and can “empathise” with him being a “flawed human being”.
Asked if they have anything in common, Tom replied: “Yeah, I feel like I have that voice inside me in a similar way – only mine doesn’t turn into a monster and make me act on it [laughs].
But, yeah, I have an inner voice in the same way I thank all of us have – which is part of what makes Eddie a fascinating character. I empathise with him as being a flawed human being.
He’s trying to do the right thing but he does some bad things in trying to get there. I do identify with that paradox as part of the human condition.”

Angelina Jolie insists Maria Oscars buzz is added bonus: ‘Anything else is a dream’

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie admits winning an Oscar for her portrayal of late opera singer Maria Callas in the biopic ‘Maria’ would be a bonus.
The 49-year-old actress – who already has an Academy Award for her role as a sociopath in the 1999 psychological thriller ‘Girl, Interrupted’ – had the “experience of a lifetime” starring in Pablo Larraín’s biographical psychological drama about diva Maria, and although the Oscar hype is “very nice”, she feels like she has already been given “the greatest gift” of making a movie with an “extraordinary team of people” and anything else is a “dream”.
Asked about the Oscar buzz surrounding her film, she laughed to Best UK magazine: “It means a lot that somebody thinks you did a good job. Right? That means everything to me.
“That kind of stuff is exciting and very, very nice. But I’m just so happy we were able to do this film. I’m genuinely so happy.
“I know it sounds like people say this, but really, this was an experience of a lifetime. I learned to sing and I embodied a woman that I respect. I was able to work with this extraordinary team of people. I feel like I’ve already been given the greatest gift.
“The audience seemed to respond well to it. So, anything else is a dream, but I’m so grateful already.”
The ‘Maleficent’ star was last nominated for an Oscar in 2008 for ‘Changeling’.
The Hollywood star – who has six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt – previously admitted immersing herself in opera training for the movie was the “therapy” she didn’t realise she needed.
Speaking to WSJ. magazine, she said: “Pablo (Larraín, director) expected me to learn, to really sing… to understand and study opera, to immerse completely and do the work.
“But it was much more than that, it was to understand Maria Callas and be able to play the character.
“I had no idea how much I was holding in and not letting out. So, the challenge wasn’t the technical, it was an emotional experience to find my voice, to be in my body, to express.
“You have to give every single part of yourself… everything that you’ve got.”
Angelina spent “months” working on her vocals.
She previously said at the Telluride Film Festival: “I had seven months of opera classes, great teachers and Italian classes, and a supportive team that were going to help me.”
Despite this, Angelina still felt anxious about singing when the time came to do it.
She said: “I was so nervous that morning I was out of my mind.”

The 52-year-old rap star admitted that he was thrilled to win the Icon award, after “34 years of professionally recording”.
Speaking on stage at the Co-op Live in Manchester, Busta said: “This is my first time here. I’ve never got an award from MTV before.
“Thirty-four years of professionally recording, this is the first time I’m getting an award from MTV. It feels f****** incredible.”
Busta thanked his mother – who he described as his best friend – and fellow rap icon LL Cool J during his acceptance speech.
The ‘Touch It’ hitmaker admitted that LL, 56 – who also attended the ceremony in Manchester – inspired him to pursue a career as a rapper.
He explained: “I want to salute my brother LL Cool J. Everything that I aspired to be, that man planted that seed.”
What’s more, Busta suggested that his “generation” of rappers will prove to be trailblazer for the genre.
The New York-born star insisted that he doesn’t have any plans to retire from the music business.
Busta – who starred in the rap group Leaders of the New School in the 1980s, before finding success as a solo artist – said: “You better believe that you will see me and the generation that I come from become the first James Browns and Mick Jaggers of this rap s***. “This recognition is not only a celebration of my career but also of hip-hop culture. To be acknowledged on this global stage is a reminder that hip-hop has no boundaries – and neither do I!”

Prince Harry sends sweets to bereaved military children on Remembrance Sunday

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry had sweets sent to bereaved military children on Remembrance Sunday (10.11.24).
The 40-year-old royal and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 43, stepped back from royal duties to lead an independent life in the US in 2020, and although Harry did not join his father King Charles, 75, and other members of the royal family at the Cenotaph to honour fallen war heroes, he had a small role as an ambassador for the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Harry – who has Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, with former actress Meghan – not only had the bags of sweets sent for the children for the march past the Cenotaph in London, but he also penned the youngsters a letter.
The charity’s founder Nikki Scott – a widow who lost her husband Corporal Lee Scott in the war in Afghanistan in 2009 – launched the non-profit in 2010 to help children left devastated by the loss of their parents at war.
She said of Harry’s involvement with Scotty’s Little Soldiers: “He’s very much in contact. He sent the children sweets today as well.
“They all have sweets in their pockets from Prince Harry.”
Harry – who lost his own mother, Princess Diana, when he was just 12 in 1997 – wrote to the children: “This day is a time not only to honour the extraordinary sacrifices made by our service members but also to recognise the impact these sacrifices have on families, especially ones like yours.
“I understand, perhaps more than most, the weight of losing a parent at a young age. It can be overwhelming and isolating. Yet, in the midst of that heartache, we find strength in the love and memories left behind, and I have seen how communities like yours can offer deep comfort and healing.”
He went on: “The tears and laughter, the shared experiences, and the moments of joy you create together are powerful reminders that love endures.”
Harry concluded: “Our resilience is a testament to the legacy of your loved ones, and I have every confidence in your ability to make them proud and to shine brightly in the world.
“All they want is for you to be happy.”
Harry – who served in the British Army for 10 years and completed two tours of Afghanistan – has made it a “tradition” to pen a note for the children each year.
Nikki said: “Prince Harry is completely dedicated to Scotty’s and takes his role as Global Ambassador very seriously.
“He understands what it is like for our members to grow up without their parent, and he also knows the sacrifices made by servicemen and women.
“It’s become a bit of a tradition now, for The Duke to write to our members at Remembrance. They also received letters from him in 2022 and 2023 and it means so much to them to know he is thinking about them and their parents at this proud but difficult time.”

Ashanti is ‘insanely in love’ with her son

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashanti is “insanely in love” with her son.
The 44-year-old singer and her husband Nelly welcomed their first child together Kareem Kenkaide Haynes – known as KK – in August and she has now opened about becoming a first-time mom calling her little boy a “blessing” and an “angel”.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles, she said: “It’s amazing. He’s a blessing. He’s an angel. My life is amazing right now. I’m super blessed, so happy. I’m insanely in love with him.”
Ashanti went on to add KK is a lot like his dad, joking: “[He] has daddy’s temper. When the bottle isn’t ready – oh, man.”
The couple married in secret in December 2023 and their son was born in August 2024.
Nelly previously praised his wife’s parenting skills telling ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She’s an awesome mom, to watch someone care about someone else so much and give their all and is willing to give their all …
“Like she said, sometimes it can be too far but you would way prefer to have a parent that goes too far than a parent that doesn’t go far enough.
“It’s a laughable love, in a good way, because I just laugh. I just say, look at this baby. I can’t wait to show him some of the pictures and the videos, like ‘Look at what your mom is doing to you’.
“She treats him like a Build-A-Bear. The boy is three months. Change his outfits in the house. He doesn’t leave the house. He changes outfits three times in the house. Put his diaper on and a onesie and let him thug.”
Nelly actually announced the pregnancy news before it was even confirmed by a test result. Ashanti subsequently confessed that she didn’t know her husband was preparing to share the news with their fans. She explained: “When he blurted that out on stage, we actually did not know. I hadn’t even taken a test at that time.”

Vinnie Jones’ new girlfriend ‘spoke to late wife’ about their romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Vinnie Jones claims his new girlfriend Emma Ford had a conversation with his late wife Tanya about their romance.
The footballer-turned-actor was left devastated when wife passed away aged 53 in 2019 after a battle with cancer and he went on to strike up a romance with his former assistant Emma several years later – and he’s now revealed Emma told Tanya she would “look after him”.
He told The Sunday Times newspaper: “I mean … you know, um, it wasn’t this big boom [when we fell in love], it was a steady burn …
“She [Emma] said to me that she had had a chat with [late wife] Tanz and said, ‘I’m going to look after him for you.’ That was kind of a defining moment for me.”
Vinnie went on to reveal he spent a long time wallowing in grief following Tanya’s death, but he later determined he needed to move on with his life because she wouldn’t have wanted him to be alone forever and he’s now “at peace”.
He added: “I don’t believe in moving on. I believe in moving forward … In grief, we’re so upset because you only remember all the good things. That’s your mind telling you that. Because it wants you to be unhappy; it wants you to be sad. It doesn’t want you to go on a date or have a wonderful time.
“So the f****** guilt – you’re feeling guilty all the time. But you’ve got to tell your brain, ‘Wait a minute, it wasn’t all roses and bells. Sometimes there were bad arguments’.
“So what I try to do is tell my brain, ‘We’re good now,’ because I’m not going to feel sorry for myself. The way she’s looking down on us and feeling about us, and the way I’m feeling back, and the way I’m conducting myself here now – yeah, I’m at peace.
“Because does she want you to be on your own? No, because you’re not going to be happy. Human beings, most human beings, are supposed to be with somebody. It’s the breed we are. It’s like the swan. That’s nature. That’s how it’s supposed to be.”
Vinnie – who married Tanya in 1994 – previously admitted he worried he would never get over her death.
He told New Zealand’s Stuff.co.nz: “[Grief] is a ghost … It’s a blanket. It wraps around you and it pulls you down. You don’t know when it’s going to happen, why it happens. It just happens.
“You’ve got to try and get your head above water, breathe in as long as you can because you know you’re going to be pulled under again. My spirit may be broken inside, but I think I’ve got enough knowledge and enough experience to cope with it.”

Polite Taylor Swift praised for rebuking security guard

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift was praised for urging her security guard to be more polite as she arrived for Travis Kelce’s game on Sunday (11.11.24).
The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker was surrounded by photographers as she and parents Andrea and Scott Swift entered Arrowhead Stadium in a golf cart for Kansas City Chiefs V. Denver Broncos, prompting a member of her team to shout at the assembled paparazzi.
In a clip shared to X, the security guard aggressively shouted: “Guys, stay back!”
But as she walked into the arena, Taylor interrupted and corrected him by saying: “Stay back, please.”
The 34-year-old star and her parents then continued walking towards the VIP suite where Taylor usually sits for home games.
A number of fans praised the ‘Shake It Off’ singer for the way she gently rebuked her staff member.
One wrote: “Polite queen!”
Another added: “Love this. Respect.”
And a third joked: “Haha she really toddler mom’d the f*** out of them [cry laughing emoji] (sic)”
During the game, Taylor got to see her 35-year-old boyfriend make history when he made his second touchdown catch of the season, his 76th in total.
The catch ties Travis with Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown receptions in NFL history.
The ‘Karma’ hitmaker was recently praised by Chariah Gordon, who is engaged to Travis’ teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. for her fun-loving attitude as she spoke of what a “good time” they have cheering on their partners.
Chariah told People magazine: “That’s just who she is… She’s fun, she’s loving, she’s sweet.
“We have a good time and we are there to support our men. She’s just one of the sweetest people ever… that’s just that.”
But Chariah recently “freaked out” when a photo she shared of the two couples on her Instagram account went viral.
She said: “I just thought that we looked cute and I posted it. I didn’t have [any] thought into it, honestly. I didn’t know that it was going to be that big.
“I had no expectations. I just really honestly posted because we had a good time and it was a really nice photo.
“I didn’t know that I was breaking the internet! I was oblivious to all of that.
“It kind of made me feel like in a sense, I did something wrong. But I know I didn’t because it’s just a nice photo.”

Ben Affleck is ‘one errant remark away from being cancelled’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck fears he is “one errant remark away from being cancelled”.
The 52-year-old actor – who split from his wife Jennifer Lopez earlier this year – made the confession in a joint interview with his pal Matt Damon as they discussed setting up their Artists Equity production company which aims to create fairer pay schemes and Affleck admitted his life as in Hollywood is never certain because he’s always at risk of losing everything.
He told Deadline.com: “We’re all subject to this sort of insecurity in this business. Whether we’re actors or directors or writers, the phone could stop ringing for us … This is the only thing I can count on, this upfront money. I don’t know when this might go away.
“I’m one errant remark away from being cancelled, or I’m one movie bomb away from never working again, and I’ve got a family and so forth.”
The production company allows artists to invest in the projects they are making so the profits can be split in a more fair way and Affleck admits he wants to end the days of A-list stars making huge money even if the studio makes a loss on their movie and he offered his flop 2003 movie ‘Gigli’ as an example.
Affleck explained: “I’ve been in movies like ‘Gigli’, that’s a famous example. I got a big cash payday for that. Well, it doesn’t feel right in retrospect because they [the studio] lost money.
“It wasn’t the biggest money-losing movie in history even though it was the most famous bomb in history, perhaps. Nonetheless, that doesn’t sit right with me.
“But it also doesn’t sit right with people when they go, wait a minute, we all sacrificed to be committed to this. And then the old story about the $10 million movie that’s made $200 million and nobody’s seen a nickel.”

“He kept ‘jazz hours’ starting in high school and never looked back. When I was little, I would wake up in the middle of the night to search for him. “Undoubtedly, he would be somewhere in the house, composing (old school, with a pen and sheet music.)
“He would never send me back to bed. He would smile and bring me into his arms while he continued to work…there was no safer place in the world for me.
“He was a giant. An icon. A culture shifter. A genius. All accurate descriptions of my father but his music (and ALL of his work) was a channel for his love. He WAS love. He made everyone he ever met feel loved and seen. That’s his legacy.
“I was fortunate enough to experience this love in close proximity. I’ll miss his hugs and kisses and unconditional devotion and advice.”
Rashida signed off her tribute: “Daddy, it is an honour to be your daughter. Your love lives forever.”
Quincy married three times, to high-school girlfriend Jeri Caldwell for nine years until 1966, then Ulla Andersson from 1967 to 1974 and Peggy Lipton, who he wed the same year as his second divorce before they split in 1989.
He had daughter Jolie with Jeri, a son, Quincy Jr, and daughter Martina, with Ulla – and two daughters, Rashida and Kidada with Peggy.
The musician also had daughter Rachel from a brief relationship with Carol Reynolds and Kenya with Nastassja Kinski.
