OHMYGOSSIP — Ethan Slater thinks Ariana Grande is an “incredible” performer.
The 32-year-old actor stars alongside Ariana, his real-life girlfriend, and Cynthia Erivo in the new ‘Wicked’ movie, and Ethan has hailed his co-stars as vocal “powerhouses”.
He told ‘Extra’: “They’re amazing, they’re powerhouses, they’re like voices of a generation.
“Everybody knows what incredible singers they are. You think they’re really different singers and then they sing together and it sounds like one voice, which is like a beautiful metaphor for them in this movie.
“They’re also just really connected actors and they’re really generous scene partners, and getting to work with them was just like a master class. I felt like I learned something every single take from both of them.”
Ethan relished the experience of starring in the movie, after seeing the stage production for the first time back in 2004.
The actor explained: “It meant a lot to be able to become part of this family and become part of this legacy.”
Meanwhile, Ariana recently revealed that her “relationship to make-up” has been transformed by her ‘Wicked’ role.
The 31-year-old singer plays Galinda Upland, a popular young woman who becomes Glinda the Good Witch of the North, in the new musical fantasy film, and Ariana admitted that the project has had a big impact on her own sense of style.
The award-winning star said in an Instagram video: “This make-up made me transform my entire look and my entire relationship to make-up. I just love it so much. Love, love, love.”
Ariana subsequently explained how her style has evolved over recent times.
She said: “There’s no thick eyeliner, there’s no heavy crease, it’s just really warm and open and pretty.

The 38-year-old actress – who already has Noah, 12, Bodhi, ten, and Journey, eight, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green – has confirmed via social media that she’s expecting her first child with Machine Gun Kelly.
Alongside photos of her growing baby bump and her positive pregnancy test, Megan wrote on Instagram: “nothing is ever really lost. welcome back [baby and heart emojis] (sic)”
Megan previously opened up about her experience of suffering a miscarriage, admitting that she didn’t know how to cope with the tragedy.
During an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’, she explained: “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life.
“I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”

The 34-year-old author – who already has Eloise Christina, two, and Lyla Maria, four, with the movie star – has announced via social media that she’s given birth to a baby boy called Ford.
In a joint post on Instagram, Katherine and Chris said: “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful.

The social media post also confirmed that Katherine gave birth to her son on November 8.
Meanwhile, Chris previously opened up about his parenting style, revealing that he wants his children to “feel comfortable expressing themselves”.

The 35-year-old star insists she didn’t plan to “hook up with his friend” – but Brittany doesn’t have any regrets about it, either.
Brittany – who split from Jax earlier this year – said on the ‘Hot Mic’ podcast: “[Jax and I] did not have a no dating in the friend group policy.
“We never spoke about that because why would we? First off, I didn’t think I was going to hook up with his friend. It wasn’t planned. I wasn’t trying to go after one of his friends. That’s not how it happened.”
Brittany also admitted to having a flirty exchange with the unnamed man on social media.

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Camilla will “keep trying” to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
The 77-year-old royal has been campaigning on the issue for more than a decade, and Camilla is encouraged by the progress she’s seen in that time.
Speaking in the ITV documentary, ‘Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors’, she says: “If you look at the steps we have since the bad old days, we have made a huge amount of progress and I shall keep on trying until I am able to, no more.”
Despite this, Camilla is refusing to get carried way by the progress she’s seen.
She said: “Don’t let’s kid ourselves, it’s going to take a long long time because it’s been going forever. You know, it’s been going, well, since time began.”
Camilla described domestic abuse as a “heinous crime” and she’s encouraged people to speak more openly about their experiences.
She explained: “If we could just get more people discussing it, talking about it, people are so shocked by what they hear, that, rather like me, that they want to say, ‘Hang on a minute, perhaps there’s something we can help with’ to hopefully, in the end, put an end to it.”
Camilla previously detailed the progress that has been made over recent decades.
She said during a speech at Clarence House in 2022: “Fifty years ago, there was almost no support available: no helplines, no counselling, nowhere to go, no specialist laws, and, perhaps most painfully, very little public understanding of the issue. It was a taboo subject: what happened at home stayed at home.
“But suddenly, with the creation of the first refuge, domestic abuse began to come into the national consciousness. People were, at last, hearing the message that it was wrong to use violence against your partner and that, if the victim chose to leave, she would be helped every step of the way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Shelton will search for “the next big artist” on ‘The Road’.
The 48-year-old singer and ‘Yellowstone’ creator Taylor Sheridan are set to join forces for the new singing competition, which will air on CBS in 2025.
The logline for ‘The Road’ explains that the show will “follow a music superstar on a journey to discover the next big artist, with budding singers joining the headliner on tour, performing as opening acts in venues across the US. The singers will compete to win over local fan bases in order to secure a spot in the next city and remain on the tour.”
Blake – who previously starred on ‘The Voice’ – is looking forward to his new role.
He said in a statement: “I know a thing or two about singing competitions and what it’s like to chase a music dream and live life on tour. I’m looking forward to discovering new talent and giving them this platform.”
Taylor, 54, is also thrilled to be involved with the show.
He explained: “There is a revolution taking place in country music. Building a platform with Blake for the next leaders of that revolution is an incredibly exciting venture.
“No more shiny floors and studio audiences. This is where the rubber meets the road – literally. Get in the van, go to the next town and win the crowd. Do it enough, and you become the next leader. Simple as that.”
Blake appeared as a coach on ‘The Voice’ for 23 seasons. But in 2022, he announced his decision to quit the hit TV show.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brittany Cartwright doesn’t think Jax Taylor changed “at all” during his spell in rehab.
The 45-year-old reality star spent time at a mental health facility earlier this year, but Brittany doesn’t feel it’s had any impact on him and she doubts whether he even has the capacity to change.
Brittany, 35 – who has Cruz, three, with her estranged husband – said on the ‘Hot Mic’ podcast: “I don’t feel like he changed at all in those 30 days. And the reason, I mean, I’m sure it’ll be on the show as well, but, you know, a lot of rage texting and stuff was still going on the entire time that he was in rehab.
“So, for me, I was just noticing like, this is just going to be constant. Like, if you’re in therapy seven hours a day, and you’re still finding time to call me names and cuss me out? And send me rage texts? Then you’re obviously not ever gonna change.”
Brittany and Jax announced their split earlier this year.
Although Brittany subsequently admitted that a reconciliation remained possible, she confessed to being tired of “cleaning up Jax’s messes”.
The former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star – who filed for a divorce from Jax in August – told Us Weekly: “There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Madix dreams of starring in ‘Mamma Mia!’ on Broadway.
The 39-year-old TV star made her Broadway debut earlier this year, when she played Roxie Hart in the award-winning revival of ‘Chicago’, and Ariana has now revealed that she’d love to star in another well-known production.
She told PEOPLE: “My first show I ever saw on Broadway was ‘Mamma Mia!’, so, if ‘Mamma Mia!’ is coming back to Broadway, I would love to be a part of it in any way, shape or form.”
Ariana is best known for starring in ‘Vanderpump Rules’ and hosting ‘Love Island USA’. But the reality star has admitted that she would love to return to Broadway in the coming months.
Speaking about her musical ambitions, Ariana joked: “I’ll do whatever it takes!”
Earlier this year, Ariana revealed that she would “love” to do more live theatre work.
She told Interview magazine: “I would love to get to travel more. I would love to be able to do more shows. I love live theatre.

The 76-year-old actor stars in new series ‘A Man On The Inside’, which follows a retired gentleman Michael whose wife has died, while he becomes a private investigator’s assistant and has to go undercover at a senior living community to solve a case.
He told People magazine: “One of my joys, and I’ve been able to do it in life several times, is to use my age and what I’m going through in life and explore that.
“What is it like to be 76 and be funny, trying to be funny? What does that feel like? Oh my God, [the] greatest joy is to be funny possibly in every possible way I can…
“You can still do anything even at our age, and one of the things you have to teach them is how to die, and how to live right up until you do.
“Don’t call it quits, don’t wind down, keep going. The world needs you. So that to me is one of the great messages of this piece. It’s something that I hope for myself.”
At the premiere for his latest show, Ted reunited with former ‘The Good Place’ co-stars Kristen Bell and D’Arcy Carden, who appeared with him in all four seasons of the hit afterlife comedy.
Kristen is currently starring in Netflix’s ‘Nobody Wants This’ and the ‘Cheers’ legend was full of praise for his friend.
He added: “I adore her and she adores me, but she’s also the most adorable human being on the planet.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mark Rylance is reportedly being lined up to play Albus Dumbledore in the ‘Harry Potter’ series.
The 64-year-old actor is not believed to have entered officially negotiations with Warner Bros Television over the iconic role, but he’s thought to be “top of the casting wishlist” for the upcoming adaptation of JK Rowling’s iconic novels.
As reported by Variety, the studio has “reached out” to Rylance to “gauge interest and availability”.
A representative for HBO told the outlet: “We appreciate that such a high profile series will draw a lot of rumour and speculation.
“As we make our way through pre-production, we will only confirm details as we finalise deals.”
It’s said Warner is looking to take influence from the feature films by casting some of the UK’s best known actors in the adult roles, alongside newcomers as leads Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, who were played by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
In the original movies, the likes of Richard Harris, Dame Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman were cast as Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape respectively.
Harris – who was 70 when he was cast – died two years later, and was replaced by Michael Gambon for the remaining films.
The original actor previously told The Guardian newspaper: “All I knew is that they kept offering me the part and raising the salary every time they called. I kept turning it down.
“Anyone involved has to agree to be in the sequels, all of them, and that’s not how I wanted to spend the last years of my life, so I said no over and over again.”
Rylance, 64, is a year younger than Smith was when she took on the role in Hogwarts, while anyone signing up to the show will be committing to seven seasons, with one planned for each book.
In September, an open casting call was launched to find a new trio to take on the parts of Harry, Ron and Hermione.
The casting call read: “We are currently only able to consider children who are aged 9-11 in April 2025, and a resident of the UK or Ireland.
“Please only apply if you meet the brief.”
In the initial round of casting, candidates are invited to submit two self-taped audition videos in their native accent.
The first should be a short story or poem – “nothing from Harry Potter” – which lasts no longer than 30 seconds.
In the second clip, which can be up to a minute, they are asked: “Please record a short video telling us a bit about yourself, including your date of birth, height and where you live.
“In addition, please describe any family member, friend or pet that you are particularly close to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Keke Palmer has accused a ‘Scream Queens’ co-star of making a racist remark on set.
The 31-year-old actress has reflected on her time on Ryan Murphy’s horror comedy show, and claimed an unnamed white co-star – referred to only under the pseudonym ‘Brenda’ – made an offensive remark.
Writing in her upcoming memoir ‘Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative’, Keke claimed she tried to calm ‘Brenda’ down during a row with another work, and suggested everyone should “have fun and respect each other”.
She alleged that ‘Brenda’ replied: “Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin f****** Luther King?”
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times newspaper, Keke said: “It was such a weighted thing that she said, but I didn’t allow that weight to be projected on me, because I know who I am.”
The ‘Nope’ star noted she hasn’t named the person in question in order to take the power from the words, and not shine the spotlight on ‘Brenda’.
She added: “I’m not no victim. That’s not my storyline, sweetie. I don’t care what her ass said. If I allow what she said to cripple me, then she would.”
Keke played Zayday Williams on two seasons of the show in 2015 and 2016.
Elsewhere in the interview, she recalled missing a day’s work because of a scheduling issue, having booked another business obligation in for what was originally meant to be a day off before being told she was needed on set.
She decided to stick to the business commitment, which left show creator Ryan furious as he “ripped” into her on the phone and branded her unprofessional.
She said: “It was kind of like I was in the dean’s office.
“He was like, ‘I’ve never seen you behave like this. I can’t believe that you, out of all people, would do something like this.’ ”
She apologised for the situation and thought things had cooled over, although days later a co-star insisted the situation was “bad”, which Keke thought was them “trying to make me scared or something”.

The 42-year-old pop superstar is mother to Sean, 19, and 18-year-old Jayden from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline and even though she has become somewhat estranged from them in recent years, insiders claimed the teenager has been visiting her at her home.
The source told PEOPLE: “Spending time together has made her happy. It’s an opportunity for Kevin and his wife, and the boys are ready to get away from the L.A. microscope.”

The 31-year-old reality star is engaged to TikTok personality Jesse Sullivan, and she took to social media on Monday (11.11.24) to reveal that the pair of babies had arrived early in the morning.
Speaking in a video posted to Snapchat, she said: “Baby boy was born at 7:31, and baby girl was born at 7:33.
“They are perfect, so sweet and so cute.”
The babies were born swiftly via a caesarean section in just under half an hour, and everything had happened “so fast”, they thought they had time to get a coffee at Starbucks first.
He added: “I can’t believe they’re gonna be born today, it’s 11/11.”

And in January 2022, Megan took to social media to announce their engagement, and to reflect on the journey they’ve been through together.
In the caption, Megan – who was married to ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star Brian between 2010 and 2021 – wrote on Instagram: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
