OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway has thanked her followers for giving her “the help and space to grow”.
The Oscar-winning actress turned 42 on Tuesday (12.11.24), and Anne took to social media to celebrate the landmark.
The Hollywood star wrote on Instagram: “[cake emoji] To every mindful, demure person here (all of you of course): thank you for the gift that was 41!!!!
“And to everyone who has ever shown me grace: thank you so much for the help and space to grow [stars emojis]
“Hope to see you on a dance floor soon! [heart emoji] (sic)”
Anne’s caption was accompanied by a video that showed the actress waving from her bed. The video also featured some highlight moments from the last 12 months, including her appearance on Drew Barrymore’s TV talk-show, as well as throwback clips from film festivals and movie premieres.
Meanwhile, Anne has previously insisted that she doesn’t worry about ageing.
The acclaimed actress explained that she doesn’t want to be told that she looks good “for her age”.
She told ‘TODAY’: “I don’t think about age. To me, ageing is another word for living.
“So, if people want to pay a compliment, it’s nice. But whatever the hype is, I’m interested in what’s beyond the concept of hype.”
Anne suggested that she’s more self-assured at this point in her life.
The ‘Princess Diaries’ star also observed that she’s become “kinder” to herself and to others in recent years.
She said: “I’m right at that point where I have a much better sense of how I like to do things. I’m so much better at sharing. I feel like I’m kinder to myself and kinder to others.”

The couple met on the set of ‘Wicked’ and have been on a press tour for the first part of the movie adaptation of the iconic musical, and the ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker praised her “amazing” partner as he’s even been helping on the red carpet with her flowing gowns.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It’s always that.
“He’s always adorable, and he’s so amazing in this film, he’s such an amazing person, I’m so happy people are getting to know him. My heart is very happy.”
The 32-year-old actor – who plays Boq in the film – is “grateful” to be joining his girlfriend on the journey she’s on.
He said: “I am so proud of Ariana. She’s incredible in this movie, and then to be able to share in the celebration of it, I’m just grateful.”
The pair were first romantically linked in July 2023, shortly before Ethan filed for divorce from Lilly Jay, and he recently admitted he’s been “really hard” seeing their relationship under such intense scrutiny.
He told GQ magazine: “Obviously, it was a really super big year.
“I think there was something that was really difficult about things in your private life being commented on and looked at by the public.
“There were a lot of big changes in private lives that were really happening, so it’s really hard to see people who don’t know anything about what’s happening commenting on it and speculating, and then getting things wrong about the people you love.
“So just to address that part of it, that feels really hard.”
Ariana is starring as Glinda the Good Witch in ‘Wicked’, and Ethan noted just how “proud” he was to work alongside the ‘Into You’ hitmaker and is just “excited” for the world to finally get to see the finished product.
He added: “But, of course, it was an amazing year and a really beautiful thing, and I’m just really excited.
“I’m just really, really proud of Ari and the work she’s done on this. She’s poured herself into it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Foster has filed for divorce from Laura Prepon.
The 44-year-old actor married the ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress in June 2018 but they have now gone their separate ways, and paperwork filed by the ‘X Men: The Last Stand’ star noted the former couple actually split over a year ago.
According to People magazine, Ben cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and stated he and Laura – who are parents to Ella, seven, and a four-year-old son whose name hasn’t been publicly disclosed – are no longer able to “live together successfully as husband and wife”.
The actor listed their date of separation as 9 September, 2023.
He also asked the court to make an “equitable division” of their marital assets and debts and to incorporate their “marital dissolution agreement and agreed parenting plan” as per the prenuptial agreement they signed before they got married.
Ben asked for him and Laura, also 44, to pay their own attorney fees and to divide any other court costs equally.
The pair were friends for a long time before their relationship turned romantic in July 2016. They got engaged just three months later and their first child was born the following summer.
The former ‘That ’70s Show’ actress announced in June 2018 she and Ben had got married, sharing a photo from the big day on Instagram.
She wrote at the time: “Just Married! Thank you for all the love and support. Wishing all of us the good stuff!”
Laura took to Instagram again in 2020 to reveal she had given birth to their second child.

The 42-year-old comedian – who checked himself into rehab for cocaine and alcohol dependency in 2020 – has revealed how Olivia, 44, helped him amid his troubles.
He told GQ magazine: “It’s like a relief … I like to be able to not even have that be a question in her or anyone else’s mind. Something about peeing in that cup is like, I’m walking this walk. It gives me confidence.”
At one point in time, John felt like he couldn’t function without drugs.
He said: “There was a time when I would have told you that I could not fly, sleep, or perform unless I had a Klonopin. I would have said, ‘It sucks because I don’t always want to take Klonopin and Xanax, but I have to.'”
Last year, meanwhile, John joked that a “star-studded intervention” helped to save his life.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathy Bates “didn’t wanna go through” reconstructive surgery after a double mastectomy because she “enjoyed not having breasts”.
The 76-year-old actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012 aged 64 and decided for a number of reasons that having a procedure to restore her bosom wouldn’t have been right for her.
Appearing on the ‘MeSsy’ podcast, she told hosts Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler: “This is really weird, maybe — but I had really heavy breasts.
“They were, like, 10 pounds when they removed them, and I kind of enjoy not having breasts.”
The ‘American Horror Story’ star’s main reason for not wanted the surgery was because of her age and not being “in a relationship” at the time.
She explained: “At the age I was, I thought, ‘You know, I really don’t wanna go through that’.
“I just didn’t wanna go through it. I wasn’t in a relationship, I was older, and I didn’t think that I would be in a relationship.
“So I was kind of like, ‘Why do I have to?’ ”
Kathy – who was also diagnosed with ovarian cancer nine years before her breast cancer battle – pointed out that she can still change her figure when necessary for a role, such as in her ‘Matlock’ reboot where she sports a camisole-esque garment.
She said: “They put little false-y cups in it, and they’re so comfortable, and they give me a nice shape. And that’s it.”
Back in 2018, Kathy opened up on her decision to avoid reconstructive surgery, insisting it would’ve involved her taking too much time away from her acting career, which she described as her “life force”.
She added to People at the time: “I’m having too much fun.”
However, she still wanted to use her experience and position to urge women to stay healthy and keep on top of things with regular check-ups.
She advised: “Quit taking the damn selfies and worrying about what you look like. Instead, keep everything working and in good order.”

The 45-year-old actor – who has daughters Hazel, 10, and eight-year-old Violet with wife Emily Blunt – experienced a “blackout” of emotions when he was told he’d be receiving the outlet’s annual accolade, but admitted he thought it was part of a prank.
Asked his reaction, he told People magazine: “Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts. Other than maybe I’m being punked.

The ‘Wicked’ director is set to adapt the pop superstar’s 2022 memoir ‘The Woman In Me’ for the screen and while he remained coy about exact details, admitted that there is “huge potential” in the story.
Asked if Britney had been spoken to, Jon told E! News: “Yes. I’m very excited about it. I think there’s huge potential about telling a great story, one that she deserves. But I’ll say it, I’ll leave it at that.”
The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker, 42, shot to fame as a teenager in the late 1990s and went on to become one of the best-selling music artists of all time but endured a number of personal struggles and was put into a conservatorship in 2007 which gave her immediate family control over her multi-million dollar fortune, her career and other aspects of her life.
The arrangement was reversed in November 2021, and Britney – who has sons Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – has remained somewhat estranged from her family ever since.
Little is known about the upcoming project – which was announced after Universal Pictures acquired the rights to Britney’s book shortly after its publication – but in September, the pop star claimed that the film would be a “fictional musical” rather than a film based on her life, although this has not been confirmed.
It was recently revealed that the biopic could potentially be filmed in the house where Britney grew up in Kentwood, Louisiana. before she began a career in entertainment.
The homeowner – who put the property on the market last year for $1.2 million – is also “willing to move out of the home for however long it takes to film” but expects to be financially compensated.

The couple – who married in 2016 – welcomed their son into the world earlier this month and because they waited “a long time” to start their family, they were in shock when he actually arrived and are enjoying some quiet time at home.

The Kansas City Chiefs stars both reported break-ins to their homes last month, with the 29-year-old quarterback calling cops late on 6 October over a burglary at his estate in Belton, Missouri.
And sources told TMZ that Travis’ mansion in Leawood, Kansas was broken into at around 7.33pm on 7 October, shortly after he turned out for the Chiefs as they took on the New Orleans Saints in a ‘Monday Night Football’ game at Arrowhead Stadium.

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine, Princess of Wales’ annual Christmas carol concert will be themed around how much people “need each other, especially in the most difficult times.”
The 42-year-old royal – who is making a gradual return to public life after undergoing abdominal surgery followed by preventative chemotherapy earlier this year – will host her ‘Together at Christmas’ event on 6 December at London’s Westminster Abbey and this year, the service will examine the “importance of love and empathy”.
The list of guests to be invited is designed to “shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities”.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said in a statement: “This year’s service provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives.
“The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities.
“This year, Her Royal Highness wanted to celebrate the many people supporting those in need – individuals who have inspired, counselled, comforted, and above all else shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive.
“This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy.”
Around 1,600 people will attend the service, including members of the royal family, with other guest names nominated by various charities and Lord Lieutenants.
Musical performances will come from the likes of Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean and Gregory Porter, while decorations at the abbey will be inspired by nature.
In addition, 15 ‘Together At Christmas’ community carol services will take place at various locations in the UK, including the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro and Blackpool Tower Circus, and recognise those who have gone above and beyond to help others.
The ‘Together at Christmas carol’ service will broadcast as part of a special programme on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve (24.12.24).

The 47-year-old NFL legend – who has Jack, 17, with former partner Bridget Moynahan and Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen – believes being a parent is the “hardest job” a parent can have and admitted he’s made mistakes over the years.
Speaking at the 2024 Fortune Global Forum in New York City, he said during a panel discussion on Tuesday (12.11.24): “All of the parents of the room know that being a parent is probably the hardest job all of us have. And we screw up a lot.
“And I’ve screwed up a lot as a parent. I don’t wanna seem like I’m some sort of expert in parenting, because I’m certainly not that.”
Tom wants to be “dependable and consistent” for his children and is supportive of all their interests, which he credits to the way he was raised by his own mom and dad, Galynn and Thomas Brady.
He explained: “The blessing my parents gave me was when I was that longshot as a kid who was a backup quarterback on a freshman team, they never said, ‘Man, don’t do that. It’s going to be too hard. Let’s do something different. Let’s think about another backup plan.’
“They kind of said, ‘You know what? Go for it.’ And that’s probably my parenting style.”
Jack, who is already 6ft 5in, wants to be a basketball player and will always have the full support of his dad.
Tom said: “Unfortunately he jumps as high as I do. But I tell him, ‘Dude, you’re gonna be a stud.’ I said, ‘Wait till you hit your growth spurt, you’re gonna be jumping higher, you’re gonna be dunkin’.’ And whether he does or not, who cares? But I want him to know that his dad’s got his back.”
The quarterback noted for his boys, “it sucks to be Tom Brady’s son, in so many ways”.
He added: “My kids naturally are gonna be faced with their own challenges, and they gotta figure out how to overcome them, too. And I’ll be there to support them a lot like my parents did. And I’ll be learning along the way right there with them.”

The 22-year-old actress is in a relationship with a man whom she has not yet publicly identified but confirmed on Tuesday (12.11.24) that they are expecting their first child together.
She told People magazine: “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full.”
The former child star is best known for playing Zuri Ross on the Disney Channel sitcom ‘Jessie’ alongside Debbie Ryan in the early 2010s, and continued in the role in the spin-off ‘Bunk’d’ in the years that followed.
The happy news for Skai comes after a difficult summer which saw her arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.

However, the Los Angeles County DA’s office then declined to file charges against her.
A representative for Skai said: “Skai is relieved that the investigation revealed that this was nothing more than a misunderstanding. We appreciate that the DA determined very quickly that there should be no charges of any kind and Skai looks forward to putting this behind her.”
TMZ previously reported that Skai pushed her boyfriend “more than once” and the couple were detained by security until law enforcement arrived.
Both Skai and her boyfriend denied a physical fight and are said to have told officers that they were engaged.
There were no weapons involved nor any identifiable injuries, according to the sheriff’s department at the time.
Skai and her unnamed partner have previously kept their relationship out of the public eye.

David said on the ‘Fail Better’ podcast: “There was a long time, working on the show, where we were just not even dealing with one another off-camera. And there was a lot of tension. Gillian is amazed that they achieved so much success while their off-screen relationship was so tense.

David believes that their off-screen tension could’ve benefited their on-screen performance. However, the actor now looks back on that period with some regrets.
