OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Ratajkowski was made to feel “small” by “powerful men” – and admits she can be “aggressive and not particularly nice” around them.
The 33-year-old model has spoken at depth about romanticising marriage and how she was made to feel “extremely small” and “less important and valuable” after her split from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in September 2022.
Speaking to author Larah Manguso about her novel ‘Liars’, Emily told Vogue: “I felt marriage was a romantic thing. I thought that it would ultimately be a partnership. I didn’t think about shared labour because, in the immortal words of Cardi B, ‘I don’t cook, I don’t clean. Let me show you how I got this ring.’ After having a child, I found myself accepting what was happening. I never cooked, and suddenly I was not just cooking but also being the breadwinner while simultaneously organising our social schedule and being the primary caretaker of our child. I’m really interested in the decisions we make in our lives, particularly as women. I would like to have conversations about how women survive marriage and children.”
Emily explained how she was made to feel like a “possession”.
She said: “I have a really complicated relationship with powerful men. I certainly didn’t want someone who needed me to feel small. I’m quite unpleasant around men who need that, even if they don’t make that explicitly clear; I tend to be aggressive and not particularly nice. I have often attracted men who like big personalities. And yet, by the end of my marriage, I found myself very much in the same position as Jane, which was that my world was suddenly extremely small and less important, less valuable. It was a slow devolution from ‘Oh, we’re partners, and this person respects all that I’m doing’ to feeling like a possession. I had a deep understanding of misogyny in many ways because I’d not only been raised with parents who talked about it, but I also had very unusual and specific experiences around gender as a model. I really wanted to believe that we were past that.”
The ‘High Low with EmRata’ podcast host filed for divorce from ‘Uncut Gems’ producer Sebastian after sources confirmed to Page Six he had allegedly cheated on her multiple times.
She famously had a pair of divorce rings made from the two-stone engagement ring she received from the 37-year-old filmmaker in 2018.
Even though Emily and Sebastian continue to co-parent their son Sylvester, three, she has moved on from their relationship with several flings including with Harry Styles, 30, Pete Davidson, also 30, Eric André, 41, and 37-year-old DJ Orazio Rispo.

OHMYGOSSIP — Christian Slater is said to have welcomed his fourth child into the world last month.
The 54-year-old actor already has Jaden, 25, and Eliana, 22, with ex-wife Ryan Haddon, as well as a five-year-old daughter with wife Brittany Lopez, 35, and People reports that their second child was born in July.
The DC star recently admitted he feels less “scared” of fatherhood nowadays.
He told the outlet: “Wow. I mean, it’s just different. The whole thing is different. I’m certainly a lot more present and I just love it. I think I was more scared of it the first go around and a little bit more confused, and I was very distracted.
“And now, it’s all I really think about, and all I really care about, and all I want to be around. I’m happy to be in that situation.”
The ‘Blink Twice’ star added that his youngest child – whose name has not been disclosed publicly – is “just cute” and has an unstoppable “zest for life” at such a young age.
He said: “She’s just cute. My daughter’s five and she’s a real passionate, excited person. I mean, she skateboards, she ice skates, she climbs rock walls, she does aerobics, she plays tennis and she’s five. We can’t stop her.
“She just has a real zest and passion for life that’s very infectious and makes me very excited.”
Christian previously explained that he wants to “lead by example” for his children and that he was trying to encourage them to read.
He told Parade: “We lead, of course, hopefully, by example, and try to be the best examples we can be for them. I think it just helps all around. Lately, I’ve been reading the Nancy Drew books to my kids, and I just do what I can to encourage them to be little readers. We started going through three chapters of Nancy Drew every night, and they’re so into it. It’s about the idea of cliff-hangers in the stories, which is keeping them engaged. Their enthusiasm has really kind of got me very excited about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Cipriani’s estranged wife has claimed he messaged other women and spent around £500 a month on psychedelics during their marriage.
The 36-year-old former rugby star split from spouse Victoria last November after two years of marriage, but she’s now filed for divorce and claimed she had “the wool pulled over her eyes” as she accused the sportsman – who is now dating actr4ess AnnaLynne McCord – of not knowing what reality is anymore.
Victoria told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “He left, I was heartbroken. Then he got together with AnnaLynne.
“I felt humiliated by him but now I want to move on with my life.
“He is so into taking psychedelics that I don’t believe he knows what is reality and what is not.”
Victoria alleged Danny spent around £400-£600 a month on chocolate bars laced with magic mushrooms, which he usually bought on Instagram, favouring a brand named Fusion, and she often had “no idea” he was high because he was “constantly” consuming the psychedelic sweets.
She said: “I got so sick of it. It started to upset me. Everyday he said he wouldn’t do drugs. Then by midday he’d be back on them.
“The thing with Danny is, he could be on mushrooms and talking to you and you would have no idea. He functions so well on them.
“Then he has times he will take lots to get high and be on another planet. Most of the time it was taking small amounts. Constantly eating bits of the chocolate throughout the day.
“One day he took a large amount and just lay on the floor. I thought I would be able to help him and he said he wanted to stop taking drugs. Danny was taking loads of prescription drugs and I just said, ‘Enough is enough.’”
While Danny was “extremely romantic” when they first got together, Victoria – who tragically lost the couple’s baby when she was 23 weeks pregnant – noticed a change in his behaviour when he stopped playing for Bath.
She said: “I found out he had a number of apps and messages to other women on his phone.
“I knew his reputation as a ladies’ man but honestly believed he had changed.”
And in November, the pair had a row at the Four Seasons hotel in London which “triggered the end” of their marriage.
Victoria said: “It was an event with a self-help guru. Danny was sat near women he knew from spiritual circles and I started to see more than just friendship.
“I admit I did not deal with it well. I shouted at him. I confronted the women and told them he was my husband.”
She later went through her husband’s phone and found messages she claimed were “inappropriate” and “flattering” towards other women.
She said: “I was shocked, heartbroken.
“They weren’t sexts but they were telling women they were beautiful, and about the connections he felt to them. Not the kind of thing you want to read your husband sending.
“There were messages to a woman he’d met a few weeks before. I knew then it was over. I knew his reputation but thought he was a new person.
“I don’t think he was ever unfaithful to me. I confronted him about the messages but he dismissed me. We had a huge row and he left, taking four pairs of jogging bottoms.
But despite her devastation, the 42-year-old mother-of-two wishes the best for Danny.
She said: “I hope he finds the happiness he is searching for. I still believe he is a beautiful person. But I have said my side now so I’d like to carry on with my life. It is a new chapter and I am now talking from a place of peace and not pain.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nev Schulman feels “lucky to be alive” after breaking his neck.
The ‘Catfish’ star – who has Cleo, seven, Beau, five, and two-year-old Cy with wife Laura Perlongo – was knocked unconscious when he was hit by a truck while riding his bike to collect his son from school last Monday (05.08.24), and although he will make a “full recovery”, he admitted there was a point where he was unsure if he would fully regain all his movement.
Sharing a series of photos and videos that documented his stint in hospital, he wrote on Instagram: “I never made it to pick up my son from school on the bike. In fact in some ways, I’m glad I didn’t. I was alone on impact. Me and the truck. And then I guess the pavement. I was alone and unconscious. And then conscious. Maybe I was fine (I wasn’t). Maybe I can still do my long run on Thursday (I couldn’t).
“I broke my neck. C5 and C6 to be exact. Stable fractures. I’m not paralyzed. My hands were a question mark there for a minute but the human body is incredible and so are HUMANS.(sic)”
The 39-year-old star went on to thank the medical treatment who cared for him and expressed his gratitude for their help with his recovery.
He continued: “The incredible knowledge and care from everyone in the medical community has been so remarkable. Starting with the EMS and on to the Southampton Emergency Room and the Stony Brook ICU. It’s hard to feel sorry for myself when I hear from the doctors about how many people with similar injuries will never walk again.
“I’m lucky to be here, alive, standing and hugging my family, projected to make a full recovery. And I’m really starting to understand the meaning of gratitude. For the big and little things before the accident, and now everything moving forward.”
Nev had contrasted the difficult day of the accident with an idyllic family trip the day before.
He had begun his post by writing: “I went fishing with my family on Sunday. It was incredible, my son’s idea. One of those days that just work. We found an available boat (thank you captain ben!) and caught all kinds of fish, most of which we threw back because they were too cute. Especially the puffer. It was magical. A day full of love and wonder in the way only calm days in nature with family can be.
“Monday was not a day like that. Monday was a day where I learned what “before the accident” really means. And Monday gave weight to just how lucky I was to have Sunday. It’s true what they say – life can change in an instant.(sic)”
And he ended his post by concluding: “We hadn’t planned on fishing last Sunday and my instinct was to say no to scramble-planning a day trip, but looking back a week later, I’m so glad I said yes. [heart emoji] (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie J. Block felt “protected by rejection” early on in her career.
The 51-year-old actress played the role of Elphaba in early workshop productions of the hit musical ‘Wicked’ in 2000 before established star Idina Menzel was drafted in to take the show to Broadway in 2003 and even though she was devastated to lose out on the part, she had to “put her ego aside” to learn from the experience.
Speaking on the Musicals Magazine podcast, she said: “All I was meant to do was go to the Universal lot with [composer] Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman who wrote the libretto. I would sing three songs and that was going to be my entire connection to ‘Wicked’. Then that evolved into reading Act I, then Act II, then a two-week workshop with Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, essentially selling the show to Universal executives.
“So the call came and I auditioned for [director] Joe Mantello and I believe the three of us auditioning were Julia Murney, myself, and Idina Menzel. The call from Stephen, there shortly after was ‘We think you’re amazing, but you have no Broadway credits, you’ve never originated a role and it’s too risky.
“I had to put my ego aside and I cried a great deal, and I just thought that I had to get to New York so no one could ever say to me that I’d never be part of an original company.
“So I agreed to be an understudy, then essentially becoming Idina’s standby when we got to Broadway with the possibility of being the matinee girl. They didn’t understand at that time how heavy the score would be, how difficult.
“I had the hope of that but Idina kept a real close grip on that role. But sometimes rejection is projection, and in a way it was. In saying yes, I could do the role out-of-town in San Fransico one time with all those that needed to be there.”
The former ‘Orange Is the New Black’ actress eventually took on the leading role of the misunderstood green girl in the first national tour ‘Wicked’ and joked that while Idina got a Tony Award for starring in ‘The Wizard of Oz’, she ended up with a husband after she met and married her co-star Sebastian Arcelus on the road.
Stephanie – who has nine-year-old Vivienne with Sebastian – added: “It wasn’t a difficult choice, I wanted to go on tour. I wanted to get back into the rehearsal room, create my own Elphie with a Glinda that we could connect with, and in saying yes to that, I got to meet my husband, I got to marry him, and have a baby.
“Idina got the Tony, I got the Sebastian and I may have come out on top with this one!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook had the “honeymoon from hell” with husband Jeremy Parisi.
The 44-year-old model and her 39-year-old spouse never took a honeymoon after tying the knot in Italy two years ago so they jumped at the chance when asked to compete on ‘Race Across The World’.
However, despite jetting out to South America for the show, Kelly admitted it wasn’t all plain sailing for her and Jeremy.
She told Closer magazine: “We hadn’t had a honeymoon and I said to Jeremy we should consider this as a fun alternative, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. At times, it was the honeymoon from hell – at other times it was absolutely glorious. It’s got to be the most memorable honeymoon ever.”
Kelly admitted the programme revealed Jeremy’s competitive side to her, while he learned more about her grumpiness.
She said: “I didn’t realise how competitive he was, like, crazy competitive. I’m much more about the experience. I think I got on his nerves because he was full steam ahead. If Jeremy was doing the race alone, he’d have finished it in a week. I was kind of slowing him down a little bit and I was like, let’s have a Brazilian barbecue one day or let’s go to the beach.
“I was grumpy at times – every night we didn’t know where we would be sleeping – but I think he was surprised how strong I was. At some points, I was carrying both of our bags. In the end you’re like machines, we were like little ninjas running around South America.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender are “like a circus family”.
The couple – who have a three-year-old son and welcomed their second child into the world earlier this year – have learned to juggle their working commitments so one of them is always around for their kids, but they are rarely in one place for long.
Asked about balancing work and family life, Alicia told The Observer magazine: “It’s gone pretty well, actually. We’ve been together almost 10 years and we tend to not work at the same time. We’re more like a circus family, always on the move.”
The 35-year-old actress appreciates having a spouse who understands the demands of the industry, but also relishes having friends whose careers are away from Hollywood, as it means they can lead their personal life away from work.
She said: “Most of my friends are not actors or in the industry at all. That has definitely been really wonderful sometimes, because this industry can be quite overwhelming, and it’s been nice to have a life that is very much away from that.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift fans in Austria have been surprised with a special chance to see her ‘Eras Tour’ concert film after her shows in Vienna were cancelled.
The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker had been due to play three shows at Ernst Happel Stadium on 8-10 August, but they were axed after local authorities uncovered plans for a terrorist attack on the venue, but to make it up to disappointed Swifties, Disney partnered with cable station ORF to air their Disney+ film as a free TV premiere on Saturday (10.08.24) night.
In addition, the streaming service have also offered a limited-time free seven-day trial of Disney+ Premium for fans there who want to stream the concert film from 10 August.
The Vienna Tourist Board has taken to Instagram to share all the ways fans can enjoy the city in the wake of the cancelled concerts, including various free activities or discounted entries.
Those who were unable to attend the show were invited to the Kristallwelten Swarovski store for a “crystal surprise”, with fans revealing on social media that, after showing their unusable tickets, they were given a necklace from the brand with a variety of different charms, tucked into a bag.
However, “due to overwhelming demand,” the store ran out of the necklaces but still offered fans a special discount.
Three teenagers have been arrested over the foiled terror plot to date.
According to Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, head of the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence, a 19-year-old suspect wanted to take his own life and kill “a large crowd at the concert”.
Weapons were found outside the stadium, while Haijawi-Pirchner said the older suspect was “clearly radicalised in the direction of the Islamic State (IS) and thinks it is right to kill infidels”.
In a statement posted on Instagram on Wednesday (07.08.24), concert organisers Barracuda Music said: “Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour Vienna shows cancelled due to government officials’ confirmation of planned terrorist attack.
“With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety.”

The 31-year-old country singer and his wife Hallie Ray Light welcomed a baby boy into the world on Thursday (08.08.24) and they have named the youngster Major Yancey Tyler.
Sharing a selection of photos of them in the hospital and at home with their new son, the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post: “Major Yancey Tyler McCollum 8/8/24 [three blue heart emojis] (sic)”
The couple had announced in February that they were expecting their first child.
Standing by the ocean, with Parking kissing Hallie as she cradled her bump, they wrote on Instagram: “God’s little blessing. We Iove you so much already, Baby M!”
The ‘Burn It Down’ singer previously admitted he and Hallie had split “for some goofy reason” at the end of 2020 but he realised months later his life wasn’t right without you.
And when they got engaged in 2021, Parker knew it was the right decision.
He told People magazine: “I couldn’t wait to ask her to marry me. There was no backup plan and no hesitation.
“I didn’t overthink one thing. I was like, ‘It can’t get any better than her.’ There was no doubt in my mind that I was making the right decision. “She saved my life in a way. I don’t think I was headed down the right road.”
The couple tied the knot in Texas in March 2022.

The 36-year-old reality TV star tied the knot with Vogue Williams, 38, – with whom he has children Theodore, five, Gigi, four and Otto, two – in 2018 and Spencer admitted Vogue is responsible for his healthier lifestyle.
When asked what his motivation was for his lifestyle overhaul, Spencer replied “Vogue”.
He added to heat magazine: “When we first started dating, I was a bad alcoholic. I would drink really early in the day, most days, and often to excess. It started to get to the stage where I felt quite a lot of shame towards my behaviour. I knew it was wrong, but I was struggling to stop it – that’s the first time I began to notice that it was actually a problem and not something I had control over.
“Around that time, I met Vogue and we started our relationship and when she got pregnant, it was a big of a wake up call for me. I didn’t want to be that kind of father. I wanted to be present for my kids. So I went sober. I completely knocked it on the head one day and I did just under four years of total abstinence. Now, I drink if I feel like drinking but it’s not problematic and scary anymore.”
Spencer is currently training to run 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordanian Desert and admitted he isn’t sure how he will cope without Vogue for a month.
He said: “I’ll miss them terrible. I’m useless with stuff like that. I call Vogue 15 times a day when we’re not together. I’m not good at being without my family. This will be the second longest time I’ve ever spent away from them. It’ll be tough , particularly if you’re sleep-deprived and exhausted as your emotions get the better of you far more easily. This will be a physical journey but also quite an emotional one.”

The 65-year-old actress is the daughter of movie stars Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh and acknowledges that her family ties have had an influence of her own success in the industry.
Speaking as she received an honorary degree from the American Film Institute on Saturday (10.08.24), Jamie told PEOPLE: “Nepo babies is an easy way for people to tell you [that] you don’t deserve your success.
“And I have been aware of that my whole life. I have not shied away from it. I am not under any delusion that hasn’t had an effect and an impact.”
However, the ‘Halloween’ star believe that nepotism has only got her so far and pointed out that she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ due to her ability as a performer.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robin Williams’ daughter Zelda has hit out at an “AI” post claiming that the late actor owned a pet monkey.
A social media post shared on the 10th anniversary of the ‘Good Morning, Vietnam’ star’s passing suggested that he owned the primate but this has been rubbished by his actress daughter.
Resharing the X post, Zelda wrote: “It’s been brought to my attention some probably AI written BS like this is going viral. Dad didn’t own a pet monkey, NO ONE should, and if you’re ever tempted to, support your local exotic animal rescues instead.”
She also confirmed that the animal was in fact from the ‘Night at the Museum’ film franchise – in which Robin played an exhibit of former US president Theodore Roosevelt.
Zelda said: “That’s his ‘Night at the Museum’ costar, who now lives at one.”
The actress added that she would be paying little attention to “false or badly researched” social media posts about her father on the 10th anniversary of his death on Sunday (11.08.24).
Zelda explained: “Since more completely false or badly researched posts are likely to go viral on Dad’s death anniversary, maybe just assume they’re all BS (they usually are) … I sure as hell will.”
Robin took his own life in August 2014 and Zelda previously discussed how the ‘Mork and Mindy’ star made it his priority to spend quality time with his family during his busy career in the spotlight.
She told PEOPLE magazine last year: “Being together was the important thing, because otherwise, especially with people scattered to the wind with work, it became even more special to do that.
“Dad’s job made it pretty hard to keep anything like a yearly tradition really, aside from Thanksgiving or days when sets would shut down.

The 24-year-old singer opened for the music mega star at some of the US gigs on her Eras Tour last year and says that forming a friendship with Taylor was straightforward because the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker has been such a big influence on her life.
Gracie told The Sunday Times newspaper: “When I met her, it kind of felt like we had known each other already, which I’m sure there was an element of just like the parasocial relationship thing. I’ve grown up with her voice in my headphones my entire life.”

The 53-year-old actor is father to Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13, and also has stepdaughter Alexia, 25, from his wife Luciana Bozan’s previous marriage and explained how he and his ‘The Instigators’ co-star Casey Affleck – who has two teenage sons himself – are at a loss at how their offspring have grown so rapidly.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Matt said: “I don’t think we swap a lot of fatherly advice. I mean, we do talk about it, but it’s more in the sense of just marvelling at how quickly it’s passing.
“It’s like suddenly your kid’s going to college, and it’s at a blistering pace.”
Matt recently suggested that he had no problems with being an overprotective dad as his main aim is to build “self-esteem” within his brood.

“I’m fine. I’m cool with [being an overprotective dad]. You know what I mean. That’s like an old trope that I think people, you know, like to play up. You know, dads like to joke about it amongst each other I think, sometimes, but no.
“You know, at least, our [25-year-old] has, you know, she’s got this incredible boyfriend who Lucy and I just love. We adore the guy and to see that she’s making those kinds of choices, really, it’s as good as it gets.”
Matt also revealed that he is coming to terms with the fact that his youngest daughter will be leaving home and even discussed the changing situation with his friends.

“It’s a lot. It’s a surreal kind of time and the way it operates in your life, the older you get, because it just feels like I was holding her yesterday

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna has sent a heartfelt birthday message to her son Rocco as he turns 24.
The Queen of Pop’s eldest son celebrates his birthday on Sunday (11.08.24) and she took to social media to share the numerous looks that he has sported while growing up.
Madonna – who has Rocco with her former husband Guy Ritchie – wrote on Instagram: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCCO— the long and Winding Road through all your many moods and incarnations has been tumultuous and full of surprises.
“But through it all —your curiosity, and Artistic Soul has been the glue that held us together.”
The ‘Material Girl’ singer added: “Thank God for Art. Thank God for you. We have been together for many lifetimes. Thank you for choosing me again. Love you -for Eternity.”
Madonna is also mother to Lourdes, 27, David, 18, Mercy, also 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, and explained how she is delighted when all of her offspring get involved in her performances.
Discussing the end of her Celebration Tour earlier this year, she told W Magazine: “When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness than to know we are all working on the same show, creating the magic together.
“Of course, I am their mother so sometimes we get on each other’s nerves. We are a family of artists but we are also a family, and that’s what happens.”
Madonna, 65, previously hailed her kids for their “enthusiasm” during the tour to mark her 40 years in music.
She captioned an Instagram post: “On the day before our 80th show of the Celebration Tour I need to acknowledge my incredibly talented children who carried me through this Journey each of them bringing their own unique talent to the stage.
“Rehearsals began over a year ago with almost a 2 month break waiting for me recover from a near death experience. They never stopped practicing… they never stopped cheering me on and supporting me.
“There enthusiasm kept me Going!!!”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Metropolitan Police says there is “nothing to indicate” that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows at Wembley Stadium will be impacted by the terror threat that forced the cancellation of her Vienna concerts.
The 34-year-old singer’s gigs at the Ernst Happel Stadium were cancelled last week after two people were arrested in connection to a planned terrorist attack on the performances but officers in London have moved to ease concern ahead of Taylor’s five-night stint at the venue that begins this coming Thursday (15.08.24).
In a statement obtained by PEOPLE, The Metropolitan Police said: “There’s nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here in London.
“(The city hosts) a significant number of very high profile events each year with millions of visitors having a safe and enjoyable experience.”
Officials explained that they will be working closely with security teams and “other partners” to ensure that the appropriate safety measures are in place for the much-anticipated gigs.
The police force said: “As always, we will continue to keep any new information under careful review.”
Meanwhile, heartbroken Swifties who missed out on the Vienna shows have been given a special opportunity to see her ‘Eras Tour’ concert film.
Disney partnered with cable station ORF to air their Disney+ film as a free TV premiere on Saturday (10.08.24) night while the streaming service have also offered a limited-time free seven-day trial of Disney+ Premium for fans there who want to stream the concert film from 10 August.
The Vienna Tourist Board has taken to Instagram to share all the ways fans can enjoy the city in the wake of the cancelled concerts, including various free activities or discounted entries.
Those who were unable to attend the show were invited to the Kristallwelten Swarovski store for a “crystal surprise”, with fans revealing on social media that, after showing their unusable tickets, they were given a necklace from the brand with a variety of different charms, tucked into a bag.
However, “due to overwhelming demand,” the store ran out of the necklaces but still offered fans a special discount.
