OHMYGOSSIP — Kit Harington feels he’s finally being recognised for his acting “talent” – rather than his good looks.
The 37-year-old actor – who is best known for playing Jon Snow in ‘Game of Thrones’ – believes he’s entering a new phase of his career, and that people are finally starting to recognise his acting talents.
Kit – who is married to actress and former co-star Rose Leslie – told GQ Hype: “If you’ve been the young male lead in something [like ‘Thrones’], and you could argue that I got given that opportunity because of my appearance, the worry is that that’s all your worth is. And for me, the older I get, the more that drops away.
“The more I get to accept [that] no, I’m an actor. And I’ve been around for a while. And I’m still working. And so at some point, I have to accept that might have something to do with my talent as well.”
Meanwhile, Kit previously revealed that he loved married life, describing it as “great”.
The actor and Rose tied the knot in 2018, and although it hasn’t really changed their relationship very much, Kit feels excited about their future together.
Asked if marriage has changed his life, he told Empire magazine: “Not really. I love stability. You know, I knew I wanted to do this – we knew we wanted to do this. We had a great day.
“And you can suddenly go off and get on with so much more in life now. You know, that’s done. That’s my wife. I’m her husband. That box is ticket, right?
“Let’s get on as a partnership and make a life together. It’s great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Hough felt insecure during her relationship with Ryan Seacrest.
The 36-year-old dancer dated Ryan, 49, for three years, but Julianne always feared that people thought she was with the TV star for the wrong reasons.
During an appearance on the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Julianne shared: “The rug was swept up from underneath me, and I was just flying, and I was experiencing things that I didn’t even know existed.
“But then I had this insecurity that I was like, ‘I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason.'”
Julianne doesn’t know if she’s “ever truly been in love with someone”.
However, she’s always entered into relationships with good intentions.
She explained: “What I’ve realised over the years is I don’t know if I’ve ever truly been in love with someone, but I have loved the feeling of being loved. And so let me be what that needs to be so that I can be loved.
“And then because I’m so filled with love from someone, of course I love you. I love everyone. I’ve been in love with everybody I’ve ever dated, but have I? I don’t wanna over-analyse it because every person I’ve also dated has been a very good person.”
Julianne dated Ryan between 2010 and 2013, and the dancer admitted to being surprised by the public’s reaction to their break-up.
She recalled: “I remember when I decided to break things off, I had a lot of these Brentwood moms and producers in that world that were like, ‘What are you doing?’”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Boy Meets World’ star Danielle Fishel felt “awkward” about her weight-gain being the focus of a storyline.
The 43-year-old actress – who played Topanga Lawrence on the teen sitcom – has recalled reluctantly agreeing to star in an episode in which her real-life weight would form a central part of the plot.
Danielle said on the ‘Pod Meets World’ podcast: “They called me into the office to tell me they were going to [write about it] – it wasn’t really like they asked.
“Obviously, it was Will [Friedle, her co-star] and I. Will had gained some weight. I had gained some weight. [And the writers said], ‘Obviously, you guys have gained a little bit of weight, so we’re gonna write an episode about it. And we just wanted you to know. And here’s what it’s gonna be. It’s gonna be really funny.'”
Danielle and her co-star both felt uncomfortable about the idea but they still agreed to go ahead with it.
She recalled: “Will very much was like, ‘Oh, yeah. I’m totally fine with it.’ Just immediately. Which, I know now, he was very insecure, and it was really painful for him.
“And for me, it was more like, ‘Oh, wow.’ Like, I didn’t – no one had said anything to me about it. I had been aware that I had gained weight, but I was still you know, I was a size 4.
“And so, I remember thinking, wow, these people think I’ve gained enough weight [that] we have to write an entire episode about my weight gain … And I have to say I’m fine with it, because they didn’t even present to me another alternative. And even if they did, I probably wouldn’t have felt comfortable being like, ‘Yeah. I don’t wanna do that.'”
Danielle can still recall feeling under intense pressure when the idea was presented to her.
She said: “It’s such a weird situation, so much pressure.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna is being lined up to headline the next Glastonbury Festival.
The 36-year-old singer has focused her attention on her family life and her other business ventures in recent years – but Rihanna is planning to make her long-awaited return to the music scene in 2025.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “It’s been a running joke how long Rihanna’s ninth album has taken to be released, but finally the wait is almost over.
“Over the years so many songs have been recorded with loads of different people, including Alesso and Diplo.
“She has gone from pop to reggae to hip-hop and everything in between. But because she wants it to sound fresh, and because of where Rihanna is at in her life, practically everything was scrapped.
“Some have been reworked but the majority was canned completely when she went back to the drawing board earlier this year.
“Rihanna has been back in the studio for a while now and things are finally coming together.”
Rihanna is one of the best-selling artists in the world, but she hasn’t released an album since ‘Anti’ in 2016.
However, Rihanna is now eyeing up the possibility of embarking on a “giant tour” and she could even headline the next Glastonbury Festival, with the source revealing that it’s “back on the table”.
The insider explained: “Historically, she releases her albums in the last few months of the year, but the slow pace of vinyl production means the release date will likely be later than she would have liked.
“Either way, 2025 is set to be her year with a giant tour in the works with Live Nation and yes, Glastonbury is back on the table.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Pokémon’ star Veronica Taylor says Rachael Lillis’ death has left a “very dark void”.
The voice actress, who played Misty and Jessie in the iconic animated show, died on Saturday (10.08.24) aged 46 after a battle with breast cancer, and the original voice of Ash Ketchum heaped praise on her late friend and co-star.
She wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “I was lucky enough to know Rachael as a friend. She had unlimited kindness and compassion, even until the very end.
“She had a great sense of humor, was wonderful to be with, incredibly intelligent, and had such a memory. She worked hard and cared deeply.
“I am not sure how this very dark void will be filled now that her light no longer shines in it.
“Like the shooting stars in the Perseids, Rachael was a magnificent wonder and truly special. She burned bright and vanished too soon. She will live on in our memories for eternity.”
Veronica confirmed Lillis’ passing “with a heavy heart”, and paid tribute to her “extraordinary talent”.
She wrote: “Rachael was an extraordinary talent, a bright light that shone through her voice whether speaking or singing.
“She will be forever remembered for the many animated roles she played, with her iconic performances as Pokémon’s Misty and Jessie being the most beloved.
“Rachael was so thankful for all the generous love and support that was given to her as she battled cancer. It truly made a positive difference.
“Her family also wishes to thank you as they take this time to grieve privately. A memorial is being planned for a future date.”
The actress’ first voice credit was in Kenji Miyazawa’s 1985 project ‘Night on the Galactic Railroad’, while she joined ‘Pokémon’ in the late 1990s.
As well as the hit TV series – which ran from 1997 until 2015 – she also lent her voice to the likes of ‘Pokémon: The First Movie’.
Her other credits included ‘Tamagotchi the Movie’ and ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Vince Vaughn joked his children are “not as lucrative” as his acting career.
The 54-year-old ‘Wedding Crashers’ star received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week, and he was joined by his wife Kyla and their kids Locklyn, 13, and Vernon, 11, in a rare family outing at the emotional ceremony.
As he accepted the award on Monday (12.08.24), he said: “My beautiful wife Kyla, I’m so glad that you’re with me on this now, I’m so grateful for you and these beautiful kids and for all the laughter that we share together.
“As much as all this means, Vernon and Locklyn, you guys really do need to know that you guys are the most important thing in the world to me.
“You’re not as lucrative, and you don’t give me access to the kind of stuff that this kind of thing does – but with that all being said, you guys are the most important and I love you very much. It’s great to have you guys with me.”
Vince isn’t often seen with his children in public, and he doesn’t always open up about his family life.
However, at the ceremony he did reveal how fatherhood has changed him over the last decade.
He told ‘Extra’: “I think you get more patience, and I think you feel a kind of love you just can’t describe.
“We laugh a lot, we have a lot of fun. I enjoy my days quite a bit with both of them.”
The big screen star was inspired by his own parents, and “the sacrifices they made” for their family.
He added: “I was so fortunate with both my parents, they worked so hard, just the hours that they would put [in] and the sacrifices they made…
“I saw them do so much for us and try so hard and not just them but their parents and generations of just sacrifice and work.
“I always felt lucky for their prayers and support.”
Meanwhile, Vince – who admitted it was “nice to be included in the fabric of the city” by receiving his star – noted that he hopes the Walk of Fame continues to serve as an “inspiration” for young people dreaming of a career in Hollywood.
He said: “I was definitely one of those when I first got here at 18 walking around and was… impressed by all the stars and names, and hopefully they continue to be an inspiration for all the people that enjoy the movies and television.”

The ‘Alien: Romulus’ star, 26, and his partner are thrilled to be planning their nuptials.

The 28-year-old actress is four months into her pregnancy with her first child with husband Christian DeAnda, and promised to let fans know more about her “wild” pregnancy journey.
Alongside a video of the moment they found, she wrote on Instagram: “Still in shock and it’s been 4 months! I will be sharing more from my journey because it has been a wild one! Come follow this new adventure.”
The pair tied the knot in November 2023 after swiping right on a dating app three years earlier.
Samantha and the pre-production assistant – who worked on ‘The Suicide Squad’ – married at Terra Mia Vineyards in Paso Robles, California.
Samantha, who is bisexual, wanted guests to only attend if they had supported her “no matter who” she ended up with, and admitted she had “quite a few declines”.
Speaking about the 140 friends and family in attendance at their wedding, she told The Knot Magazine: “I wanted to make it very clear that if you don’t believe in love for all, and you don’t celebrate love for all, we’d rather you send your best wishes.
“I’m bisexual and really wanted the people there to be ones who would have supported me no matter who I ended up with.
“A lot of my friends happen to be queer, and I didn’t want a situation where anybody feels any way other than loved and respected. And so I’ve had quite a few declines.”
Discussing the moment the couple exchanged vows, which they wrote themselves, Samantha said: “The tears were flowing.”
Christian had been to the venue several times before, when he was working for a catering company during his college years.
Samantha, who is teetotal, wasn’t initially sure about getting hitched at a vineyard, but she “knew it was the place” as soon as she saw it.
She said: “I wasn’t sure I wanted to have my wedding at a vineyard, but the moment I saw the property, I knew it was the place.
“I had three other venues to go view and I cancelled them immediately.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith claims co-parenting doesn’t exist.
The 43-year-old singer shares two daughters – who are eight and three – with her ex-husband, French artist Leyman Lahcine, and Paloma feels she does the bulk of the parenting since their split.
She told Women’s Health magazine: “I don’t think co-parenting exists; women still do the bulk of the parenting. There are anomalies, but we need change.
“Being a single mother is exhausting, but I do have two nights a week when my daughters are with their dad to do as I please.”
Paloma and Leyman divorced in 2022 after 10 years together and five years of marriage and Paloma blames having children for the demise of their relationship.
She said: “I think for me, becoming a mother was such a massively life-changing experience that for the first time in my life, I needed more than nothing – and that just wasn’t there.
“Our relationship ended because we have those children. And I think that was worth it.”
Paloma also feels that “society neglects women and mums” and she finds it frustrating that she is branded “ungrateful” if she complains.
She said: “When I’ve opened up about my difficulties with motherhood and IVF, people tell me I’m ungrateful. I know better than anyone how grateful I am.
“When people respond like that, it’s annoying, and I think it’s why so many mums have to add a caveat to any downside of parenting with how much they love their kids first, for fear of being judged.
“I wanted to do it because I feel society neglects women and mums. This makes us feel isolated because we end up having to pretend that everything’s magical and it isn’t always; it’s hard and women do struggle.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry insists “things happen for a reason” after quitting Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama.
The 57-year-old Hollywood legend was set for a leading role in the ‘American Horror Story’ creator’s upcoming Hulu show ‘All’s Fair’ – which also stars Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close – before it was revealed last month she had decided to step down from the role.
Reflecting on her departure, she told Entertainment Tonight: “You know, things happen for a reason. [But] I would have loved to have been there with those ladies, and I know it’s gonna be great.
“[It’s] Ryan Murphy! I mean, you know, duh! But next time!”
Last month, Variety reported she had “bowed out of the show due to a scheduling conflict”.
She had also been attached to executive produce, but will no longer be attached to the show in any capacity.
The series is set to focus on an all-female law firm in Los Angeles, while specific details regarding Halle’s planned character had been kept under wraps.
Ryan will write, direct and executive produce the project, which is the first of his series announced under his new Disney deal after his Netflix agreement came to an end.
Kim and Glenn are both executive producers, along with Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Scott Robertson and Eric Kovtun.
Kim made her acting debut as publicist Siobhan Corbyn in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’, and the spooky anthology show’s creator was delighted with the praise for her performance.
In a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians’, Ryan told her: “You were really, really good to the point where they called me and were like, ‘Do you think Kim would want to do her own show?’ ”
In a confessional after the chat, Kim joked she wasn’t should what she “got herself into”, and wondered if she could “really pull this off”.
Ryan – who also created the likes of ‘Glee’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘Ratched’ and more – then revealed his pitch for Kim’s potential series.
He suggested: “Kim is the world’s best, most expensive divorce lawyer, and she has her own firm, and the thing about her firm is it’s an all-female firm.”
Kim – who filed from divorce from ex Kanye West early in 2021 before finalising the split the following year – joked she “has some experience” in the field.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena has insisted there isn’t “enough money” in the world to make him reconsider his WWE retirement.
The 47-year-old wrestler turned actor recently announced he will be hanging up his boots for good in December 2025 after a retirement tour for most of next year, and he won’t be plotting a shock comeback once he’s had his final match.
He told ComicBook: “There isn’t a cheque writer with enough money to change my mind when I hang it up in December. I don’t want to continue for ego or financial gain.
“I built a relationship of trust and authenticity over the years with the WWE, and that’s people who think I suck and people who believe in me, they know that I shoot them straight and I’m trustworthy.
“I mean what I say: when I’m done in December, I am done. It is the last time I will perform in a ring.”
Cena made his official WWE debut on ‘SmackDown’ in 2002, and has wrestled at least one match every single year since then.
The ‘Jackpot!’ actor still plans to be involved in the company in some capacity once he’s retired, but he will be swapping his signature outfit – including the jorts – for a suit.
He explained: “I’ll be a member of the WWE family as an ambassador and a grateful one, But you will see me wear this (points to suit), not the wristbands, the jorts, the ball cap.
“That, in December 2025, that goes away, and that’s the reason why we’re putting so much equity and emphasis on this farewell tour.”
The ‘Peacemaker’ star – who, like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Dave Bautista and others, have swapped the wrestling ring for the bright lights of Hollywood – wants to create “something special” for generations of fans before he retires.
He said: “It truly is the last time for generations for grandparents and parents and kids to get together in the same time.
“Grandparents could be like, ‘I didn’t know about wrestling and my son dragged me here.’ That son now has a son and daughter of their own, and they like John Cena, and now their kid likes Cody Rhodes.
“I want to try to do something special where we can all get together one last time and, and go through 25 years worth of memories.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry’s chief of staff has quit after just three months.
Josh Kettler, who began working for the Duke of Sussex in May, has left his position with the royal with “both sides agreeing it wasn’t the right fit”, according to PEOPLE.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: “Josh Kettler is no longer working for them.”
Josh – who was previously chief of staff and head of strategic partnerships at the communication platform Cognixion – previously joined the prince, 39, on his trip to London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May and he was also with Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, 43, on their trip to Nigeria the same month.
He had been expected to accompany the couple on their upcoming visit to Colombia, which will include stops in the capital city, Bogota, as well as Cartagena and Cali.
Francia Márquez, Colombia’s vice president, previously said: “As the Vice President of Colombia and Minister of Equality and Equity, I am pleased to announce that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have kindly accepted my invitation to visit our beautiful country.
“In these vibrant locations, they will have the exceptional opportunity to engage with leaders, youth, and women who embody the aspirations and voices of Colombians committed to progress. It will offer practical solutions and commitments for countries around the world. The 30-year-old son of US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Brazilian singer Giulia Be are set to wed after he proposed with a diamond Tiffany Co ring.
Giulia, 24, shared pictures from the proposal on Instagram and wrote: “easiest yes of all time.”
The pair have been dating for more than two years.
Giulia also posted a video of the moments after the proposal, where she can be heard saying: “I literally can’t believe this. I’m dreaming. I love it that we are both sweaty and after work and gross and disgusting. It’s perfect.
“This is the best day ever!”
Giulia, whose full name is, Giulia Bourguignon Marinho, moved from Rio de Janeiro to Los Angeles to be with Conor, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.
She is a successful singer, with two Latin Grammy nominations, and an actress whose credits include the Netflix film ‘Depois do Universo’.
Conor famously dated Taylor Swift in 2012 and the pair spent much of that summer together at the Kennedy family compound on Cape Cod.

OHMYGOSSIP — Skai Jackson was reportedly arrested after a fight with her boyfriend.
The former ‘Jessie’ star was arrested for domestic violence after police officers were called to Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles when security spotted Skai, 22, and her boyfriend arguing.
TMZ reports that Skai reportedly pushed her boyfriend “more than once” and the couple were detained by security until law enforcement arrived.
Both Skai and her boyfriend denied a physical fight and are said to have told officers that they were engaged and expecting a baby.
However, after deputies reviewed the security footage and saw evidence of pushing, Jackson was arrested for “misdemeanor domestic battery”, cited and released a few hours later.
TMZ added that the case will be reviewed by the Los Angeles. County District Attorney’s Office to decide if charges are warranted.
Skai and her unnamed partner have previously kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Meanwhile, Skai recently opened up about her relationship with her ‘Jessie’ co-stars Debby Ryan, Peyton List and Karan Brar, admitting it is hard to keep up with everyone but they are still close.
She told E! News: “I feel like we’re all living different types of lives. A lot of us don’t even live in the same state so it’s hard to see each other. But they’re doing so many amazing, great things that I’m really proud of them. We definitely check up on each other.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Mulaney joked his career would be over if he “did a perfectly accurate impression” of his mother-in-law.
The 41-year-old comedian – who revealed last month he had secretly tied the knot with actress Olivia Munn, 44, in New York City – has opened up about his new in-laws, including Olivia’s mother Kimberly, who immigrated from Vietnam to the US in 1975.
Asked about getting to know his wife’s family, he told ‘Late Night with Seth Myers’: “It’s the greatest single time in my life.
“I’ve been in a lot of interesting situations. I’ve never – marrying into a large Vietnamese family is one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.”
When his friend asked for more details, the former ‘Saturday Night Live’ star quipped: “If I did a perfectly accurate impersonation of my mother-in-law, it would be a career ender. So, we all, kind of, know that.”
Kimberley – who he affectionately calls Miss Kim – had joined John for his appearance on the late night talk show, and he joked that one member of the family always joins you “anywhere”.
He teased: “One of them will come with you anywhere. And they call me John Mulaney, full name. A little wrong, full name all the time. ‘Olivia is here with John Mulaney.’ Yeah. And they’re the greatest.”
After moving to the US, Kim settled in Oklahoma, where she met Olivia’s father Winston, and John eventually did an impression of the family’s accent to illustrate the two cultures coming together.
He said: “So, [the children] have Vietnamese and Oklahoma accents. So, like, I’ll do it. But… that’s because it’s really – it needs to be done and also max, there’s like, seven people in the world who could be offended by this accent.”
He also opened up on the differences with his own family, who he described as being “uptight” about lots of things, including “money, health, anything”, as he admitted “almost everything his taboo”.
However, he revealed: “The Luong family, they talk about anything immediately upon meeting you. Like, ‘how much money you have?’ ‘Why you so skinny?’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon couldn’t “imagine living under” the same “scrutiny” as Ben Affleck.
The 53-year-old actor and his longtime friend – who he first starred alongside in 1997’s ‘Good Will Hunting’ – have had “parallel careers in a lot of ways”, but Matt’s pal has typically drawn more attention from the outside world.
Speaking to the Radio Times podcast, he said: “25 years ago, the gossip magazine culture was huge but they ignored me.
“I wasn’t an exciting story; the guy who’s married, it’s boring! Scandal and sex, that’s what people would read magazines for. I’ve been really lucky.

Speaking on Kevin Hart’s ‘Hart to Heart’, he said: “I see myself as a director, but I’m a little bit shy. I also don’t like a lot of attention. This is why people see me [and] they’re like, ‘Well, this dude always mad…’ Because somebody has their camera and sticking to my face.
“I don’t mind you taking my picture about a club, a premiere, whatever. My wife, I don’t give a f***. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. I don’t notice you.
“My children, that’s a different thing.”
Ben has children Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while wife Jennifer Lopez, 55, has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
The news come after Jennifer recently celebrated her 55th birthday in the Hamptons. The singer/actress threw a lavish ‘Bridgerton’-themed fancy dress party on the weekend before her birthday and she then celebrated her big day by going for a meal in East Hampton with her mum Guadalupe Rodríguez, her manager Benny Medina and several friends .
Ben is not believed to have attended the fancy dress party or the birthday meal.
On her birthday, Jennifer shared an emotional message with fans thanking them for all their well wishes. In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “I’ve been seeing all of your birthday wishes, beautiful videos, and posts all last night and this morning from all over the world. I have laughed, smiled, shed some tears, and when I saw the billboard in Times Square, I was completely overwhelmed.
“I really do have the best, most amazing fans in the world. I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life. Thank you sooooo very much.”
