OHMYGOSSIP — Macaulay Culkin is “very good” at trash-talking his famous friends in online video game tournaments.
The ‘Home Alone’ actor, 43, famously stepped away from Hollywood after banking millions of dollars as a child actor in the 1990s and is now the publisher and CEO of satirical pop culture site and podcast ‘Bunny Ears’.
His actor pal Freddie Prinze Jr has now revealed the actor also spends his time dishing out hilarious putdowns to him and their famous friends when playing video games.
Freddie, 48, told People: “I play the (video) game ‘BattleTech’ with Macaulay Culkin. He’s a very good s*** talker.
“He said something very funny to me about one of the other players. I can’t even say what it was, because that guy will see this and know it was him.”
Freddie also told People about his blissful family life with his 47-year-old actress wife Sarah Michelle Gellar: “My wife and I try to have (a date night) once a week.
“Last week we went out to dinner and had a big seafood tower. We ate every single thing on it, except the ice.”
The couple have two children together, and Freddie added when asked when the last time was he scored “extra dad points”: “Anytime I take my daughter shopping. I could just walk in the door and give my credit card and say, “That looks nice.”
As well as 14-year-old daughter Charlotte, ‘Down to You’ actor Freedie and Sarah have son Rocky, 12.
He married ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ star Sarah on 1 September, 2002, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, after the pair met years earlier while filming 1997’s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’.
They started dating in 2000 and were engaged by April 2001.
The couple have also co-starred in films including ‘Scooby-Doo’, ‘Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed’ and ‘Happily N’Ever After’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert De Niro was hailed as his daughter Drena De Niro’s “ride or die” as she marked his 81st birthday.
The ‘Taxi Driver’ Oscar-winner reached the milestone on Saturday (17.08.24) and his actress and model girl, 56, celebrated the occasion with a gushing statement about how he has supported her over the years.
She also posted a snap of Robert in red-and-white striped swim shorts jumping off a boat into the sea on a recent vacation – along with a video of him diving into the water as she said: “Woah, he’s so crazy.”
Drena could then be heard asking the Hollywood icon in the clip: “Oh my god, are you alright?” – with Robert replying: “Yeah, I’m okay.”
She was then heard saying “s***” when someone told her Robert had jumped about 30 feet into the water.
Drena also paid tribute to her famous dad by sharing throwback photos of him feeding a bottle of milk to her late son Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez when he was a toddler and of the grandfather-grandson pair smiling together.
Alongside a final picture in her birthday tribute carousel of Robert with two of his grandchildren on a beach she said: “Happy 81st Bday to my Dad and #1 ride or die .. Love you with all my (three heart emojis) #BobbyD forever (star, crown and star emojis.)”
Drena’s boy Leandro was 19 when he died in July from the toxic effects of a drug combination that included fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine and cocaine.
The New York City’s medical examiner ruled his death accidental, and Drena later said on Instagram “someone sold him fentanyl laced pills”.
Leandro was an occasional actor who appeared in the 2018 movie ‘A Star Is Born’ and was found dead in an apartment in the Wall Street neighbourhood of Lower Manhattan.
Robert said at the time that he was “deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo”.

The ‘Walk the Line’ actress, 48, posted a snap of her grinning beside her beaming mum Betty on Sunday (18.08.24) on her Instagram, alongside a gushing tribute.
She said in a caption: “Happy birthday to the most amazing Mama in the world! “You bring so much sunshine into my life. (Star emojis.) Thank you for always believing in me and cheering me on. I love you! (Pink heart emoji.)”
The actress shared shots of her and Betty taken at restaurants on two different occasions – with the star sporting a headband that said ‘It’s My Birthday’ in the first image.
It was from her own celebrations in March when she turned 48, while another photo showed the pair smiling as they posed in a café.
Reese also shared the post on her Instagram Stories, adding a sparkling purple animation over the top that flashed up the message “Happy Birthday” along with a hat and cake.
The actress also paid tribute to Betty in May in a Mother’s Day post.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Lowe has hailed his co-stars in ‘The Outsiders’ his “frat brothers”.
The 60-year-old ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ actor wasn’t even 18 when he landed his first feature role playing Sodapop Curtis – one of the ‘Greasers’ gang – in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 coming-of-age classic, alongside a group of then up-and-coming stars including Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez and Matt Dillon.
Rob told People: “I turned 18 on-set in Tulsa… those (co-stars) are my guys, my homies, my frat brothers.
“We all were deadly serious and super-competitive. Tom (Cruise) being Tom took it to another level.
“He was just born with that kind of commitment and was inspiring.”
The movie was an adaptation of SE Hinton’s 1967 novel ‘The Outsiders’, and Rob added about how the film transformed the rest of his life: “It’s funny, the movie meant different things to me over the years. As it was happening, it seemed perfectly natural, (and) that was my fraternity.
“And now with time, and with so many generations growing up and accepting the movie, and it being a part of their lives… to be part of it is really special.”
Rob added about his bond with ‘Young Guns’ star Emilio, 62, in and beyond the film: “Emilio helped me navigate where this was all going, (and) it was good to have a best buddy going through highs and lows of being a young actor in Hollywood.
“It was an amazing moment in time… and (‘The Outsiders’) felt really special. “The seriousness with which Francis and everybody, all the actors, took it, was really ahead of its time.”
Rob – who went on make his name in shows including ‘Parks and Recreation’ – added about his co-stars becoming famous: “All of us brought our individual things that you would see later in our careers.
“I think my character (in ‘The Outsiders’) is sort of funny on his feet, and good-natured and light, (and) if you look at something like ‘Parks and Recreation’, you can see elements of Soda Pop Curtis even in that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex felt “so honoured” to help celebrate Afro-Colombian history.
The mother-of-two, 42, and her husband Prince Harry, 39, have been on a four-day tour of Colombia that has seen them take part in an art session and planting trees during a visit to a school in the capital of Bogota.
Meghan said on Saturday (17.08.24) as the pair visited San Basilio de Palenque outside Cartagena – established as the first free African town in the Americas in 1619 – she was “so honoured” to include the spot on their visit.
She added the community had an “incredible history”, while Harry hailed it as an “incredibly moving experience”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were greeted with a performance of the Colombian national anthem by students before taking in speeches and performances from Palenque’s community leaders.
They also toured a lively street market during their walk through the town.
In a speech thanking the couple for their visit, Vice President Francia Màrquez said: “I wanted them to come here and discover the essence of who we are – our spirituality, our music, our culture and our ancestral heritage that is still very much alive today.
“In the midst of adversity, this is what has helped us continue to be resilient. Palenque is in the heart of every Afro-Colombian.”
The Sussexes also addressed the group that gathered for their visit in both Spanish and the town’s indigenous language of Palenquero.
Manuel Perez Salinas, a tour guide who showed the pair around, told The Daily Telegraph he chatted with them about their cultural identity and showed them a statue of the town’s founder Benkos Bioho.
Another tour guide, Juan Manuel Márquez Padilla, told the Telegraph when he said he wanted “racial discrimination to end”, Harry told him: “We’re working on that.”
He added: “I liked them because they’re working for human rights.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has paid tribute to her children on her Colombia trip by wearing a necklace carrying their names.
The mother-of-two, 42, who has son Archie, five, and three-year-old daughter Lilibet with her husband Prince Harry, 39, has been on a four-day trip with the royal to the nation – which has included them visiting pupils at a school that included a “social and emotional” gym and garden.
Fans have now spotted Meghan has been wearing an ‘Imperial Disc Pendant’ by Ariel Gordon Jewellery – personalised with the names Archie and Lilibet – while she and Harry visited another school, the Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, which teaches children drumming.
The pair dropped in on Saturday (17.08.24), with the couple taking part in a drum circle and traditional dancing.
Meghan has worn the necklace before, including on a lunch outing with friends in August last year.
She previously honoured her son by wearing a necklace featuring the letter ‘A’ to Wimbledon in 2019 months after her boy was born.
Meghan also owns necklaces featuring her two kids’ star signs, which she wore during a video shot to mark her 40th birthday.
The duchess has also paid tribute to Harry’s late mum Princess Diana during her visit to Colombia – by wearing the late royal’s butterfly earrings.
She and Harry have been protected on their Colombia tour by an officer armed with a Kevlar shield known as a “ballistic briefcase” to stop a shooter targeting the couple.
At each event the couple have attended in the country, their shield-bearing protector – who is only one of their huge security detail – has been seen leaping out of a vehicle head of the pair holding a folding shield.
Known as a ballistic briefcase, the device is also used to protect Colombia’s vice president Francia Marquez – who has been hosting the couple’s visit and been the target of several assassination attempts.
Harry and Meghan have had an “immense ring-of-steel” security presence in Colombia, according to The Sun and Daily Mail.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna wished herself a happy 66th birthday alongside a picture of her lighting up a cigarette for her rumoured new boyfriend.
The Queen of Pop hit the milestone on Friday (16.08.24), and a day later posted a series of snaps on her Instagram showing her with Jamaican footballer Akeem Morris, 28, who has been holidaying with her in Italy on a days-long birthday celebration.
She captioned the images, which included snaps of her lighting up a long cigarette for him and him blowing smoke around them: “Back in Italy… Happy Birthday to ME.”
Madonna also posed in a corset on a bed in an echo of one of her raunchiest stage show set-ups.
The ‘Material Girl’ singer has been seen walking arm-in-arm in Italy’s Portofino in the last week with Madonna.
She toured the 2,200-year-old Teatro Grande amphitheatre, as part of the trip, according to the Daily Mail.
The Mail reported Madonna has been on holiday in Italy for the past week, after previously hosting a string of birthdays in the country – including in Noto, Sicily and Borgo Egnazia.
The lingerie-style outfit she sported in her 66th birthday snaps included a suspender belt and fishnets made by Italian designers Dolce and Gabbana.
It has emerged in the past week Madonna first met her rumoured new love Akeem in 2022 when they appeared in a shoot together in the Paper magazine.
They weren’t seen together again until July, when the musician posted snaps of him on her Instagram.
Madonna’s images showed her cuddling up to the footballer on 4 July as they celebrated the US holiday together in New York.
She has also posted a picture of herself in bed with Akeem that was captioned: “Hot Fun In The Summer Time.”
Akeem lives in New York after being born in Jamaica, the Mail has reported, which also said he has a degree in political science and government after studying at Stony Brook University between 2014 and 2017.
During his time at university, Akeem played soccer and also was a forward for Oyster Bay United football club, according to ESPN.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimi Hendrix’s ghost is said to be haunting an iconic recording studio he helped build.
The ‘All Along the Watchtower’ rocker died aged 27 on 18 September, 1970, by choking to death after taking a huge dose of barbiturates – and his former engineers at the Electric Lady music hub in New York have insisted they seen several ghouls at the spot.
Grammy-award winning mixer Michael Brauer told the New York Post: “Pretty much every assistant I know has had some kind of sighting late at night when they are alone.”
He added he once thought he saw his assistant go to the lounge of the Greenwich Village studio, but was left convinced it was a ghost.
Michael said: “I called out to him because I needed him to patch something, but he didn’t respond.
“I called out again – nothing – so I got up and as I was heading to the door, (my assistant) came walking in from the other direction.
“I (investigated) the live room; it was empty. My assistant had been in the bathroom.”
An unnamed engineer also told the Post about hauntings at Jimi’s old studio:
“I proceeded to walk into the live room after (what I thought was a) ‘person’ only to find no one in there but the TV on playing static.”
On a separate occasion the mixer said he saw a dress hanging in the studio with no one inside.
He added: “I turned around to see a split second of a what I can only describe as a silver dress shimmering next to the patch bay.”
Jimi’s studio is the subject of new documentary ‘Electric Lady Studios: A Jimi Hendrix Vision’.
The space was a nightclub before Jimi and his manager Michael Jeffrey started renovating it in 1968.
It opened as Electric Lady Studios in August, 1970, after lead architect John Storyk worked with Jimi to design it with curved walls to help artists achieve a unique sound.
A few weeks after its grand opening, Jimi had died.
The musician’s former producer Eddie Kramer, who features heavily in the documentary about the studio, added to the Post: “There is a spirit of Jimi Hendrix in the studio, somewhere, whether it’s in the walls or the ceilings… in the atmosphere… it’s embedded in there somehow.
“His spirit is very strong. I truly believe that. I think any artist who has graced the presence of Electric Lady has felt that.
“I would say 99.9 per cent of the people walk in and say, ‘I’m feeling something’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Jost is feeling “fine” after suffering from injury and illness at the Olympic Games.
The 42-year-old comedian worked as NBC’s Olympics Surfing Correspondent during the Games, and although he was forced to quit the role prematurely after suffering injury and illness, Colin is now feeling perfectly fine.
In an Instagram video, Colin quipped: “‘Dude, are you OK?’ That’s the number one text message I’ve received in the last 48 hours. Usually followed by, ‘Heard your foot fell off’.
“Well, I’m actually fine, and despite what big media conspiracies would have you believe, I wasn’t ‘sent home’ from the Olympics. NBC simply looked at my foot, declared me legally a leper, and exiled me here to the island of Malta.
“Now, Malta doesn’t have many Olympians competing this year, but it does have thousands of 15-year-old British kids competing to see who can black out the fastest – and somehow they’re all winning.
“It also has this casino behind me where I’ve blown the hundreds of dollars I earned as a surfing correspondent.
“But the real reason I’m in Malta, of course, is because it was the site of ten separate bubonic plague outbreaks, so they thought I would fit right in.”
Colin was forced to quit his role with NBC, after sustaining a foot injury, and then suffering a staph infection and an ear infection.
The comedian – who is married to movie star Scarlett Johansson – was based in Tahiti during the Games, but injury and illness meant that he left the role prematurely.
A rep for NBC recently told USA Today: “Colin stayed longer than originally planned. The competition ran long due to weather. He had a great time, and everyone was thrilled with his coverage from Tahiti.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Hough once found herself trapped in an “addiction loop”.
The 36-year-old star has battled various addictions in her life, but she really became aware of the issue when she moved into the movie business.
Julianne – who had her first major film role in 2010’s ‘Burlesque’ – told the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast: “When I started the movies – I ended up figuring this out a few years ago. But my addictive loop, Nicorette gum was part of it, alcohol was part of it, diet pills was a part of it and online shopping. The loop.
“It would be like a long period of time, and then it got shorter and shorter and shorter over like a span of 12 years.”
Julianne ultimately felt the “biggest sense of relief, not shame” when the reality dawned on her.
The blonde beauty explained: “It was like, ‘Oh my God. Thank God I figured this out because that had so much control over me.’ I got it in a way where it was more binging vs. nonstop so I could hide that so easily and justify it.”
The actress actually had her first drink as a child.
She recalled: “My first drink was at 11. It was Baileys Irish Cream.”
However, Julianne really began to drink heavily, and often, at the start of her music career.
The singer shared: “When I started doing country music, everybody drinks on tour, so then I would drink a little bit.
“The reason I fell off the stage at that [2008] show, we were in Napa and we had done a wine tour that day. Then, like always, we would do a shot before we go on, and it just mixed wrong.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kit Harington felt “tired” at the end of ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 37-year-old actor played Jon Snow in the HBO fantasy series between 2011 and 2019, and Kit has now confessed that he “couldn’t have gone on longer”.
Speaking to GQ Hype, Kit explained: “I think if there was any fault with the end of ‘Thrones’, is that we were all so f****** tired, we couldn’t have gone on longer. And so I understand some people thought it was rushed and I might agree with them. But I’m not sure there was any alternative.
“I look at pictures of me in that final season and I look exhausted. I look spent. I didn’t have another season in me.”
What’s more, Kit acknowledged that the final season of the show featured some “mistakes”.
He shared: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think there were mistakes made, story-wise, towards the end maybe. I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t quite work.”
Kit previously suggested that his children will feel “deeply uncomfortable” watching ‘Game of Thrones’.
The actor has a three-year-old son and a 12-month-old daughter with his wife and former co-star Rose Leslie, and Kit doubts that their kids will ever want to watch the HBO series.
Speaking to E! News, Kit shared: “I don’t think they’ll wanna watch ‘Game of Thrones’. I absolutely guarantee you they’ll probably never wanna see that show.”
In fact, Kit suggested that his kids won’t ever want to watch him on screen in any film or TV show.
The actor – who has been married to Rose since 2018 – explained: “I think they’ll be deeply uncomfortable.
“I don’t think they’re gonna wanna watch anything I’m in. I really don’t.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Flavor Flav has offered to “make” a bronze medal for US Olympian Jordan Chiles.
The 23-year-old gymnast was recently stripped of her bronze medal following an appeal by the Romanian team and a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport – but Flav has now taken to social media to show his support for Jordan.
The 65-year-old rap star – who was the official hype man of the US water polo team at the Paris Olympics – wrote on X: “Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan ,,, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!! (sic)”
In response, a follower asked: “Who knew Flavor Flav was such a treasure?!! (sic)”
And then Flav replied: “ME,!! (sic)”
Jordan took to social media after she was stripped of her bronze medal.
The gymnast wrote: “I am taking this time and removing myself from social media for my mental health, thank you.”
Meanwhile, Flav previously revealed that he was relishing being at the Olympic Games.
The rapper told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Man, I’m feeling like I’m living the greatest moment of my life right now. I’m feeling amazing right now. It’s a very wonderful experience that I’m living right now.
“For the first time ever I get to be at the Olympics in person instead of just seeing it on TV.”
Flav has always wanted to attend an Olympics in person, and he’s finally fulfilled his life-long ambition.
He explained: “Words right now can’t even explain how amazing it is. I’m living a dream come true right now.
“I always dreamed about being at the Olympics one day, watching it and seeing it in person. Right now God has granted me the gift to where I’m able to be here and see it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK star Lisa is not good at “expressing [her] feelings”.
The 27-year-old singer – who is a member of the South Korean girl group – has admitted that she struggles to express herself, although her self-belief has grown markedly in recent years.
She told ELLE: “To be honest, I’m not the type who’s really good at expressing my feelings.
“Lately, I feel more confident of what I think, and say it out loud.”
Lisa is currently preparing to release new solo material, and she’s happily taken more creative control of her latest songs.
The chart-topping star also suggested that she’s become much more decisive.
Lisa – who released her debut album, ‘Lalisa’, back in 2021 – shared: “I think what I’ve learned from last time is me, myself, saying what I like and what I don’t like.
“I think that’s the most important. Because if I say, ‘Ah, it’s okay,’ [people] don’t know – like, am I really okay with it? So I have to be able to say ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ Not in between.”
Despite this, Lisa feels proud of what she’s managed to achieve with BLACKPINK.
The singer also loves sharing her success with her bandmates.
She said: “When I’m onstage [with BLACKPINK], I share my energy with my members. If she gives 100, I’ll give 120. We can feel each other. And I love that energy.”
Lisa is currently focused on her solo material, but she also remains committed to the girl group.
She explained: “Of course we’re continuing, for sure.

OHMYGOSSIP — The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have been moved to September 11.
The annual awards show has been moved to a new date because of a presidential debate between US Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump on September 10.
The ceremony – which is being staged at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York – was originally scheduled to take place on September 10. However, organisers have now announced the decision to push it back by one day.
What’s more, MTV has confirmed that Camila Cabello, Chappell Roan, Glorilla, and Sabrina Carpenter will all perform at the awards show.
It will actually be the third time former Fifth Harmony star Camila has performed at the VMAs, while the other artists will be performing at the show for the first time in their careers.
Taylor Swift actually leads the list of nominees for the VMAs.
The 34-year-old singer – who won seven VMAs in 2023 – has received ten nominations in total, including eight for ‘Fortnight’, her collaboration with Post Malone.
‘Fortnight’ is in contention for the Video of the Year accolade, which is considered to be the most prestigious of all of the awards. Taylor has actually won the gong four times already, and she could soon extend her own record.
The chart-topping star released her latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, in April, while Taylor has also been travelling the world for her Eras Tour.
Taylor is contention for the Artist of the Year gong, too, although she’ll face stiff competition from Sabrina, Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, and SZA.
Elsewhere, Post Malone has received as many as nine nominations, including nods in the Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration categories.

The 36-year-old TV star has revealed via TikTok that she’s embarked on a weight-loss journey – but her efforts were recently undermined when she got drunk and indulged on some of her favourite snacks.
The ‘Jersey Shore’ star – who has Lorenzo, 11, Giovanna, nine, and Angelo, five, with husband Jionni LaValle – said on TikTok: “POV working your a** off all week to lose 5 lbs only to ruin it drunk last night ordering fried pickles and cheese fries. (sic)”
One of Snooki’s followers subsequently encouraged her not to worry about her weight.
They said: “You’re way too blessed to be spending your whole life worrying about your weight!!! You look great. Eat those fried pickles!!! (sic)”
Then, Snooki clarified that she just wants to be healthier.
The reality TV star said: “Not worrying! Just trying to get healthier [crying emoji] (sic)”
Earlier this year, Snooki insisted that she’s grown to accept her body, after struggling with an eating disorder during her younger years.
She told E! News: “In high school, I suffered from an eating disorder – not eating, anorexic. Cheerleading did that to me.
“But then I just felt so confident in myself. I was like, ‘You know what? Whatever, I don’t care what size I am. As long as I’m happy and I’m enjoying life, I don’t really care.'”
Snooki explained that she’s learned to accept her body and her fluctuating weight.
She reflected: “When I went on [‘Jersey Shore’], that’s kind of where my mindset was at because I wasn’t at my thinnest. And my body fluctuates so much because I’m so short. So like gaining five pounds looks 25 pounds on me because I’m only 4’9″ So it’s hard to maintain, especially after three kids.”

The 44-year-old actress has taken to social media to celebrate their five-year anniversary, and to heap praise on her fiance.
The brunette beauty – who announced her engagement to Jonathan, 46, in 2023 – wrote on Instagram: “5 years ago today I was lucky enough to go on a first date with this total dreamboat person. Here we are and he’s still making me smile every day. [heart emojis] (sic)”
Jonathan and Zooey are keen to have an “intimate” wedding when they eventually tie the knot.
The TV star previously admitted that the loved-up couple already have a firm idea of what they want their wedding day to look like.
Jonathan told Us Weekly: “The ceremony and the pomp and circumstance, we’ll get that out of the way, and then it’s the reception. It’s going to be a blast.”
Jonathan and Zooey were “very different people” during their younger years. But the TV star suggested that their interests and ambitions have become more closely aligned over recent times.
He said: “I mean, we’ve both been married before, but even when we were younger, you’re looking for different things, and who knows what we were looking for at that time?”
Prior to that, Zooey claimed that she and her fiance are “so compatible”.
The actress – who is best known for playing Jess Day on the hit TV sitcom ‘New Girl’ – joked that herself and Jonathan both “identify as nerds”.
She told PEOPLE: “Our personalities are so compatible. It’s just that we’re from different worlds. We identify as nerds, we’ll have you know.”
