OHMYGOSSIP — Ice Spice has denied using Ozempic to lose weight.
The 24-year-old rapper has slimmed down in recent months but insisted that she has not been using the controversial drug – which was initially created for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes but has a side effect of weight loss – and instead claimed that she has simply been exercising and sticking to a healthy diet.
Speaking during an X Spaces chat, she said: “I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic, that’s one thing I wish. Oh my god, like, what even is Ozempic? “What the f*** is that? Genuinely, what is that, bro?
“Like, you lazy a** b****, you never heard of a gym? It’s called the gym. It’s called eating healthy. It’s called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big.”
The ‘Deli’ hitmaker recently explained that she has learned to embrace her critics and suggested that they’ve actually helped her to “win at life”.
Ice – whose real name is Isis Gaston – told Rolling Stone magazine: “When people ask me, ‘Oh, how do you deal with the hate?’ I don’t give a s*** because I won, bro. I win at life.
“I can only just be grateful for people talking s***, for people supporting me. Everything that comes with the territory, I can only be grateful for.”
Despite this, Ice confessed to feeling particularly frustrated by her relationship with fellow rap star Latto.
Speaking about her rap rival, she said: “I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny.”
However, Ice has insisted that there’s no real “issue” between them.
The ‘Bikini Bottom’ hitmaker explained: “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ It’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me.”

The 46-year-old pop star found fame in the early 2000s as a member of the Pussycat Dolls but has made the transition into theatre in recent years and even though she has “never been more strong” as she gears up to make her Broadway debut in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical ‘Sunset Boulevard’, insisted that she has been “dismissed” to an extent.
In a conversation with producer Jamie Lloyd filmed for People: “I’m [46] years old. I’ve never been more strong — physically, mentally, emotionally. I’m in my prime. There is no better time for me to create work that is meaningful in this world. That’s the tragedy: is that you’re in the best place in your life. You’re so fully, have so much to give, and people have discarded you, and dismissed you and said ‘Your time’s up…'”
Following her time in the girl group, the ‘Don’t Cha’ hitmaker served as judge on ‘The X Factor’ on both sides of the Atlantic and then starred in a West End production of ‘Cats’ in 2014 before winning an Olivier for ‘Sunset Boulevard’ in London earlier this year, and is surprised that she is only now just getting to appear on The Great White Way.

OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa Gilbert’s childhood was often “really dark and difficult” because of her neurological disorder.
The 60-year-old actress starred on the NBC Western series ‘Little House on the Prairie’ as a child but suffers from a condition now known as misophonia – which causes an extreme emotional reaction to certain sounds – and “sobbed” when upon her diagnosis because she felt “horribly guilty” for how she had behaved as a child.
She told People: “[On set], if any of the kids chewed gum or ate or tapped their fingernails on the table, I would want to run away so badly. would turn beet red and my eyes would fill up with tears and I’d just sit there feeling absolutely miserable and horribly guilty for feeling so hateful towards all these people—people I loved.
“It was a really dark and difficult part of my childhood.
“I sobbed when I found out that it had a name and I wasn’t just a bad person.
“I really just thought that I was rude. And I felt really bad. And guilty, which is an enormous component of misophonia, the guilt that you feel for these feelings of fight or flight. It’s a really isolating disorder.”
The ‘Diary of Anne Frank’ actress – who is now married to Timothy Busfield but has son Dakota, 35, with her first husband Bo Brinkman and 28-year-old Michael with her second husband Bruce Boxleitner – also banned her children from making hoises such as chewing gum when they were growing up because of how much it all affected her.
She said: “I had a hand signal that I would give, making my hand into a puppet and I’d make it look like it was chewing and then I’d snap it shut — like shut your mouth.

The ‘Today’ weatherman – who struggled with obesity until losing 100lbs in the early 2000s and then endured a three-year battle with cancer from 2020 until 2023 – celebrated his 70th birthday on Tuesday (20.08.24) and admitted that he “appreciates” everything more nowadays because of his past struggles.
He told E! News: “When you have a health issue, whether it’s you or a loved one, you realize you can’t take anything for granted. So it does focus you—kind of a laser focus on your health and your family’s health and everybody around you—but you appreciate every day a little bit more.
“I don’t trust people who don’t eat pie.
“But that said, I modified things a little bit. It’s everything in moderation.”
The TV star – who also shed 45 pounds in 2022 – was thrown a surprise party by Deborah Roberts and their three children Courtney, Leila and Nick for his birthday and was even treated to a performance by Earth, Wind and Fire.
He said: “It was really epic. Unbelievably epic. Everybody that I wanted with me was there. When you see them come back together as adults, it’s like they really appreciate each other.

The 44-year-old comedienne – who was married to William Stewart from 2008 until 2013 and following that a relationship with rapper Common from 2020 until 2021 – was quizzed on the possibility of walking down the aisle for a second time, and quipped she would have to know about a man’s financial situation before she entertained the idea.
Asked if she would get married again if asked, she told Extra: “I would say… ‘What’s your credit score?’ Your credit score is your grown-up report card, and how responsible you are with your money is how responsible you’ll probably be with my heart.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
The 55-year-old pop superstar was engaged to Hollywood actor Ben, 52, in the early 2000s before breaking up and while the pair famously reconciled in 2021, they have now split up again after two years of marriage.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer filed legal docs on Tuesday (20.08.24) in L.A. County Superior Court without an attorney.
The date of separation is listed as April 26 2024, but the day on which J. Lo filed for divorce is in fact the second anniversary of the second ceremony they held in Georgia, which followed their initial wedding service in Las Vegas just two months before that.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift is to release a documentary about the ‘Eras’ tour.
The 34-year-old pop megastar has been visiting cities around the world since March 2023 with a show that encompasses all of her studio albums to date and is now set to document the whole mammoth process in a documentary that has been “quietly filmed” during her time on the road.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Taylor has been quietly filming behind the scenes of the Eras Tour since last year.
“It will be a warts—and—all insight into the tour and the mechanics behind it, which will be fascinating for fans.”
The insider noted that the film will also cover the foiled terrorsist Vienna were cancelled when a terrorist attack was foiled in the Austrian capital, and the deaths of three young girls at a Taylor-themed dance class in Southport, in the north of England.
The source added: “The documentary will also reference Southport and Vienna.
“It will be powerful and emotional, as well as an uplifting celebration of Taylor and her incredible fans.”
The ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress wrapped up the European dates of her world tour at London’s Wembley Stadium on Monday (20.08.24) night following a record-breaking run of eight out nights at the venue.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ian McKellen is still in “agonising pain” after falling from the stage during a West End play.
The 85-year-old actor was performing in ‘Player Kings’ at the Noel Coward Theatre in London in June when he lost his footing and had to quit his planned part in the UK tour to deal with his injuries but admitted that it could have been a lot worse had he not been wearing a fat suit.
He told Saga magazine: “My chipped vertebrae and fractured wrist are not yet healed. I avoid going out because I’m nervous someone might bump into me, and I’ve been dealing with agonizing pain in my shoulders due to the jolt my body took. But the fat suit I wore for Falstaff saved my ribs and other joints, so I consider myself lucky!”
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ star noted that he has “relived the fall” several times and described the whole experience as “horrible” because it marked the end of his participation in the show.
He said: “I’ve relived that fall countless times. It was horrible. I thought it was the end of something. It was very upsetting. The end didn’t mean my death, but it felt like the end of my participation in the play. It was just a bloody accident! I didn’t lose consciousness, I hadn’t been dizzy, but I’ve not been able to return to the stage, and they’ve continued without me.”
Shortly after the incident took place, the Shakespearean actor took to social media to thank fans for their support.
He wrote on X: “I want to thank everyone for their kind messages and support. Since the accident, during a performance of Player Kings last night, my injuries have been diagnosed and treated by a series of experts, specialists and nurses working for the National Health Service. To them, of course, I am hugely indebted. They have assured me that my recovery will be complete and speedy and I am looking forward to returning to work.”

The 58-year-old actress worked with the 71-year-old movie star in 2002 ‘James Bond’ classic ‘Die Another Day’, and 22 years later she has recalled him being a total “gentleman”.
She told Wired: “He will always be my Bond, always. I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan.
“He restored my faith in men on that movie. There couldn’t be a human who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan.”

The 47-year-old actress had left her fans concerned this week after sharing a video of herself asking her social media followers to help her identify an unknown fruit she had tasted during a trip to England.
She captioned the TikTok clip: “What the heck is this!? I’m in England and can’t figure it out.”
In the video, she said: “Okay, I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is and I need your help.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling had “no emotional attachment” to the 123-room mega-mansion where she grew up.
Tori’s parents TV mogul Aaron Spelling and his wife Candy bought the expansive property in 1983 and they bulldozed the house on the site – which was previously lived in by Bing Cosby – and built a ginormous house in its place which became known as Spelling Manor.
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star has now opened up about her time living there – revealing she was only a resident for a couple of years because it took her parents such a long time to rebuild the house from scratch.
During a new episode of her ‘MisSpelling’ podcast, Tori explained: “When I was 12, my parents purchased property that became The Manor, and it was Bing Crosby’s house.
“Little known fact: my mom loved Bing Crosby. [She was] a huge fan, so that was a fun connection, and then she tore all that s*** down.”
She added of the mansion: “I can honestly say I have no emotional attachment to the house and I never did. I have good memories there but my best memories with my parents were created at the other house. The [big] house wasn’t my dad’s jam. He liked small and cozy, and my mom loves to decorate.”
Tori went on to talk about the vastness of Spelling Manor, which boasted a bowling alley, a barbershop, a gift-wrapping room and even a doll museum to house Candy’s collections.
The actress said: “When you enter the house, on the ground level there’s everything that you would think of on a ground level. And there was an elevator. You would take the elevator [or] stairs [up] for the bedrooms and you would take the elevator downstairs almost like going to the basement level [and] that’s where all these unique rooms [were] … ”
She added: “[My brother Randy and our friends] would walk into the doll museum and I would be adjusting the lights to dim them perfectly and they’d be like, ‘This is creepy’.
“Everyone was scared [and] terrified. My brother and I would mess with them, one of us would take you on a tour and someone [would] pop through the door around the back.”
Candy put the house on the market after Aaron’s death in 2006 and it eventually sold to Bernie Ecclestone’s heiress daughter Petra for $85 million. She sold it on in 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Oprah Winfrey feels more “aware and conscious” after turning 70.
The legendary talk-show host celebrated her landmark birthday in January, and Oprah has now admitted that she’s developed a new outlook on life.
During an appearance on ‘TODAY’, Oprah shared: “There is a sense of knowing that there isn’t as much time left and I am at peace with that knowing. There’s a sense of urgency for me about living well.”
Oprah underwent knee surgery in 2021, and that proved to be a turning point in her life.
She explained: “I had been becoming more and more debilitated to the point where it was hard to walk down even two steps just to get into the car. You know that pain.
“When I finally went to the knee doctor and I said, ‘I don’t know, is it time?’ He goes, ‘It’s time if you want to continue walking. You like walking? It’s time.’”
Oprah admitted that having surgery has been life-changing for her.
The talk-show host said: “I’d never been through surgery, was intimidated by it. The best thing I’ve ever done.
“I really felt like I’ve had a new opportunity to live inside my body in a way that I hadn’t been able to for years because being overweight, and being overweight causing the knees to be even worse.”
Oprah now feels better than she has done in many years.
The TV icon – who hosted ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ for 25 years – explained: “I think I have just aged into a form of myself that is wiser, that is certainly stronger, that is more vibrant and aware and conscious than I’ve ever been. I don’t feel that my edges are softening.”

The 43-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Topanga Lawrence on the teen sitcom ‘Boy Meets World’ – recently revealed that she’s been diagnosed with “a form of breast cancer”, and she’s now taken to social media to thank her fans for their outpouring of support.
Danielle said on Instagram: “I wanted to do a quick video to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and from my entire family for the enormous outpouring of love and support and encouragement you have sent me since I announced my breast cancer diagnosis.”
Danielle also stressed the importance of having regular health check-ups.
The actress said: “The only reason we found it that early is because I prioritised myself into making sure I got a mammogram, and I know how important that is now firsthand, and so I wanted to pass along that message.
“And I’ve been hearing from so many of you that you did indeed make your mammogram appointment, or you pressured your mother to make her mammogram appointment, or your best friend to make her mammogram appointment.”
Danielle revealed news of her diagnosis earlier this week.
The actress said on the ‘Pod Meets World’ podcast: “I was recently diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for ductal carcinoma in situ, which is a form of breast cancer.
“It is very, very, very early. It’s technically stage zero.
“To be specific, just because I like too much information all the time, I was diagnosed with high-grade DCIS with micro-invasion.”
Despite this, Danielle is remaining optimistic, insisting that she’s “going to be fine”.
She said: “I’m going to be fine. I’m having surgery to remove it.”

Speaking to the New York Times, Jelly Roll said: “[I have] always been honest’ with them … I was trying to describe what addiction was to an eight-year-old without using words like ‘addiction’ or ‘drugs’.”
During the interview the musician – real name Jason DeFord – was asked about a previous admission that becoming a dad while he was in prison prompted him to turn his life around and he insisted it’s not that simple.
He explained: “I’m learning to forgive myself for the decisions I made when I was that young. They were wrong and I knew they were wrong, and I was doing them with a sense of pride and excitement. I was 15. I was so young … I don’t know what could have helped me, to be honest …
“I think that you saying that shows me that you’ve never been a part of that culture and never seen people have those rock-bottom experiences where they woke up and said, ‘Today is the day I quit shooting heroin’ …
“There is a lot of steps after that. They have to go to rehab. They have to detox. There was a lot of steps I had to change. So yeah, maybe the change wasn’t dramatic but the decision was dramatic.”
Jelly Roll revealed he first went to jail at the age of 13 after being caught with cannabis and then failing to go to court. He later served a year behind bars over his involvement in a robbery when he was 16 and the felony conviction means he cannot vote and was unable to travel internationally until recently.
He previously told Billboard: “I never want to overlook the fact that it was a heinous crime. This is a grown man looking back at a 16-year-old kid that made the worst decision that he could have made in life and people could have got hurt and, by the grace of God, thankfully, nobody did.”
