Michael Madsen not charged over domestic incident

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Madsen’s domestic violence case has been thrown out.
The ‘Reservoir Dogs’ star was taken into custody in Malibu, California, on 17 August and arrested on a charge of misdemeanour domestic battery following an incident with his 64-year-old estranged wife DeAnna, but the Los Angeles District Attorney has now told TMZ the case has been declined for filing due to insufficient evidence.
And the 66-year-old actor is “thrilled” with the news.
His spokesperson told the outlet: “We are thrilled that Michael Madsen is able to put this behind him and look forward to our continued collaboration with more great things coming from this veteran and respected actor.”
Following Michael’s arrest, his lawyer insisted the veteran actor was “definitely not guilty” of domestic abuse.
The legal representative told The Hollywood Reporter Michael had “confronted” DeAnna and “asked her to leave” the house, saying the couple are facing an “ongoing problem”.
The attorney added: “Michael has shown immense compassion and restraint during this period towards his estranged wife.
“He’s definitely not guilty of domestic violence.”
DeAnna also told The Hollywood Reporter: “Michael is struggling with his own personal issues. Myself and our children have been supporting him to the best of our ability. We would request privacy at this time.”
Arrest records show Michael was released on bail set at $20,000 and a representative for the actor said on 19 August the ‘Kill Bill’ star had returned home.
The spokesperson added to People: “It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both.”
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has said deputies responded to a call just after midnight on 17 August after they were warned a “female adult” had alleged her “husband pushed her and locked her out of their residence”.
They added in a statement: “The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing.”
Twice-divorced Michael has been married to DeAnna since 1996, and The Hollywood Reporter has stated the couple separated after their 26-year-old son Hudson took his life in January 2022.
The couple are also parents to Luke and Kalvin, while Michael also has Christian, Max, and Jessica from previous relationships.

Nicole Eggert shares ‘hardest’ part of breast cancer battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Eggert “doesn’t know what is happening” in her battle against breast cancer.
The 52-year-old actress was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in December 2023 and she admitted waiting to find out the next stages of her treatment has been the “hardest” part of her journey so far.
She told People magazine: “I am good. I am in sort of a grey area and I finished my treatment, waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery.
“And there’s a lot of waiting in this and it’s sort of something I didn’t really realise and nobody really talks about.
“But the grey area is the hardest because you don’t know what’s happening and you’re just, when I’m doing treatment, I felt like I was doing something productive.
“So it felt positive and I was like, okay, I’m doing something positive. And now that it’s just like nothing, it’s like, well wait a minute. We got to get this out. So it’s, it’s just frustrating.”
The former ‘Baywatch’ star has been undertaking various alternative therapies to pass the time, including a “lot of meditation”.
She said: “I’ve worked with [a] Shaman and I do a lot of guided imagery. I’ve taken some of Jeremy’s [Jackson] classes. He teaches like the breath workshops.
“I do whatever I can, whatever I can. If he’s going for a walk or if it’s doing a meditation or I just do whatever I can to distract myself.”
And Nicole praised her daughters Dilyn, 25, and 13-year-old Keegan for having handled her diagnosis “really well”.
She added: “I mean, they kept me on my toes. My 13 year old didn’t give me any special treatment. It was still like, ‘Mom, give me that, let’s go here, let’s do that.’
“So she just kept me going and kept it lively. And I really loved that about both of them. And both treated it like nothing’s changing, just keep the days the way they are.”

Julianne Hough’s marriage helped heal trauma as she could be ‘a little girl’

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Hough’s ex-husband helped her heal her childhood trauma by allowing her to be “a little girl”.
The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ co-host was married to Brooks Laich from 2017 to 2022, and the dancer – who recently spoke out about being sexually abused at the age of four – explained she felt a need to “reconnect” with her 10-year-old self during their relationship.
She said on the ‘Jamie Kern Lima Show’: “What did I need at 10? I really needed safety and almost, like, a father figure to come in and be that grounding force of stability.”
The 36-year-old star explained the dynamic she had with the 41-year-old hockey player gave her a “little girl feeling” with “stability” and a “stable man” at home.
She added: “He provided such a beautiful foundation for me to be a little girl, [and I] was able to start that healing.”
Julianne felt she became “more of a woman” who could “listen to [her] voice more” as she began “shifting and changing and questioning.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, the ‘Safe Haven’ actress told of her devastation when her dogs Lexi, 11, and Harley, eight, were killed by coyotes around the time her marriage was ending.
She said: “I had asked for a separation. And then ten days later my dogs were killed by coyotes.
“I woke up before my phone even rang and I knew, and I picked up the phone and my assistant at the time was just like screaming.”
The tragedy also came as she was launching her company Kingry and parting ways with her long-term assistant, leaving Julianne questioning her life.
She said: “I felt so out of alignment. I’m about to start this company which is all about helping people connect to themselves and living their most expanded free self and assistant and I are breaking up, and I’m asking for a separation because something’s not working.
“My dogs that represented unconditional love and safety are gone – I’m like, ‘What am I doing? I’m blowing up my life.’ ”

Carrie Underwood plans to be ‘kind’ on American Idol

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood has vowed to be “kind” on ‘American Idol’.
The ‘Before He Cheats’ hitmaker has replaced Katy Perry as a judge on the talent show and though the 41-year-old star – who shot to fame when she won the fourth series of the programme in 2005 – has pledged to be “honest” with her feedback to the contestants, she doesn’t want to crush their dreams.
Speaking during a surprise appearance at SiriusXM’s ‘Music Row Happy Hour in Las Vegas’, she said: “I think I can be honest and constructive, but still kind. And I think that’s the whole point, because people are coming in and it’s dreams. You’re part of somebody’s story from that moment on.”
Despite her country music background, Carrie believes her career has shown enough versatility over the years for her to be credible in commenting on many other genres.
She said: “I feel like I’ve been so blessed to obviously be so rooted in country music, but I’ve been able to be a part of many other genres or music as well.
“I mean, I’ve got a song with Papa Roach right now. It’s a lot of fun.
“I like to think that I am versatile. And, hopefully, when I listen to people come and audition, I can have any lens I need to put on in terms of what music I’m thinking.”
Fellow judge Lionel Richie recently praised Carrie as a “great” addition to the panel.
He told E! News: “It makes a lot of sense. It’s not someone we have to get used to. And the fact that she has a great story, she came from ‘American Idol’.
“What a great judge, now we don’t have to explain anymore, ‘We know how you feel.’ As artists, we know how you feel, but we’ve never been in that oval that says, ‘American Idol.’ She’s been there, done that.”
Meanwhile, third panelist Luke Bryan joked Carrie will need to “up her therapist” as a result of working with them.
Asked what advice he has for Carrie, the 48-year-old star said in a TikTok video: “Up her therapist. If she has a therapist, she’s probably going to have to double to deal with me and Lionel.”
Luke subsequently joked that he was happy to assist his new co-star.
Luke quipped: “Do therapists do gift cards where I can call her therapist and gift her a voucher?”

Travis Kelce buys stake in racehorse

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce has bought a stake in a racehorse named Swift Delivery.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has acquired a “significant share” of the three-year-old gelding, as have the Zoldan Family, Team Valor International founder and CEO Barry Irwin, the animal’s owner has announced.
Swift Delivery was named before Travis started dating pop superstar Taylor Swift over a year ago, so it is unclear if the name swayed his investment or if it was just a coincidence.
According to Bloodhorse, the Zoldans have been members of Team Valor’s syndicates for nearly four decades and this year, Travis attended the Kentucky Derby with the Phantom Fireworks owners thanks to his friendship with CEO Bruce Zoldan’s son Alex.
After attending the sporting event, the 34-year-old NFL star admitted it had been a “dope experience”.
He said on his ‘New Heights’ podcast: “I’m a Derby guy now, man. It was so much fun.”
And not only did Travis relish being “part of the environment” of the races, he was particularly excited to attend with the Zoldans, who previously had a Kentucky Derby winner in 2011 with Animal Kingdom, another ownership venture with Team Valor.
He said: “They have been ingrained in the Derby for 30 years. The Zoldans are rightfully treated like royalty there. They made it easy and fun to come out there and enjoy the Derby.”
The news comes shortly after it was announced Travis and his brother Jason Kelce have signed a nine-figure deal with Wondery for their podcast.
Jen Sargent, the CEO of Wondery, told The Hollywood Reporter: “We’ve been watching the growth of the podcast, really since it was launched, and I have been building a relationship with Travis and Jason and getting to know them for a while now.
“Sports is a really exciting category for podcast listeners. It’s a strategic priority of Wondery’s and Amazon’s. So there were a lot of reasons to think about joining forces here on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.”
‘New Heights’ will still be available on all podcast services and on YouTube, while Wondery will also offer ad-free listening to its subscribers.
The podcast studio – which is owned by Amazon – will have the right to host live streams.
What’s more, Wondery can develop, manufacture, license and distribute ‘New Heights’-themed merchandise as part of the agreement.

Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs back for Oasis reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs will be part of the Oasis reunion.
The 59-year-old guitarist – who was an original member of the group but left in 1999 – performed with Liam Gallagher on the singer’s ‘Definitely Maybe’ anniversary solo tour this summer, and it has now been reported he is on board for the highly-anticipated run of comeback shows for the band next year, with members of Noel Gallagher’s group High Flying Birds also expected to join the brothers on stage.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion. Noel has brought in some of his band too.
“The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.”
While the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers have confirmed details of 14 UK and Ireland shows – billed as their only European dates – in cities including Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Dublin for the tour, it is believed more will be announced after tickets go on sale on Saturday (31.08.24).
A source said: “These shows will sell out in less than three minutes. Extra dates will be added for sure.”
Oasis – who split in 2009 – confirmed on Tuesday (27.08.24) they were reuniting following months of speculation.
The band said in a statement: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
There had been speculation and hopes for a reunion for years, but things picked up steam over the last week, particularly after Liam teased fans during his Reading Festival performance on Sunday (25.08.24).
Before singing ‘Half The World Away’, Liam told the crowd: “I wanna dedicate this song to Noel Gallagher.”
Liam teased a mysterious date towards the end of his set at Reading, when “27.08.24” appeared on a screen behind him, while the same date also appeared on Liam and Noel’s X accounts.
Earlier in the day, the singer dropped another hint about Oasis’ potential comeback as he tweeted: “I never did like that word FORMER (sic)”
Oasis split in acrimonious circumstances 15 years ago, when Noel claimed that he couldn’t work with his brother “a day longer”.
Noel said in a statement at the time: “It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Glen Powell defends Ryan Gosling after producer throws shade at Barbie star’s ‘appeal’

OHMYGOSSIP — Glen Powell has defended Ryan Gosling after a producer claimed his appeal is “limited to females”.
The ‘Twisters’ actor has responded after an unnamed Hollywood producer described him as the biggest up-and-coming movie star “in the sense that audiences now go to movies to see him”, while taking a thinly veiled shot at the ‘Barbie’ star.
Speaking to The Wrap, the anonymous producer added: “Unlike an actor like Ryan Gosling whose appeal is mostly limited to female audiences, Glen appeals to both females and males.”
Referencing Ryan’s role as Ken in ‘Barbie’, Glen replied on X: “Gosling is a legend. I’m just Glen.”
The ‘Anyone But You’ actor is making waves in Hollywood, with upcoming roles in the likes of Edgar Wright movie ‘The Running Man’, and Hulu comedy series ‘Chad Powers’.
George Clooney recently insisted that major studios have shifted how they work in a way which limits Hollywood’s ability to make A-list movie stars.
He told GQ magazine: “They haven’t developed stars the way the studio system used to.
“[Brad Pitt and I] kind of were at the very end of that, where you could work at a studio and do three or four films, and there was some plan to it.
“And I don’t think that’s necessarily the case anymore. So it’s harder for you to sell somebody something on the back of a star.”
The actor-turned-director, 63, is still one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars and has helmed a string of critically acclaimed movies, and he recently jokingly hit out at Quentin, 61, who said “some s***” about his Hollywood status.
George – who starred alongside Quentin in Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 vampire comedy-horror ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ – told the September issue of GQ magazine: “Quentin said some s*** about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him.
“He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about (Brad Pitt), and somebody else, and then this guy goes, ‘Well, what about George?’ He goes, ‘He’s not a movie star’.
“And then he literally said something like, ‘Name me a movie since the millennium’.
“And I was like, ‘Since the millennium? That’s kind of my whole f****** career.’”

Kelly Ripa jumped off boat to prove she could ‘fluently’ communicate with dolphins

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Ripa once jumped off a boat thinking she could “fluently” communicate with dolphins.
The 53-year-old talk show host had recently filmed with the sea creatures in Miami while learning about the newest technological developments in communicating with animals, and she tried to showcase her ‘skills’ while celebrating a friend’s birthday in Mexico.
Speaking on ‘Live! with Kelly and Mark’ alongside her husband Mark Consuelos, she recalled: “They rented a boat for sunset cocktails. All of a sudden in the water we were surrounded by wild dolphins…
“[I] had just done the show in Miami, and we’d gone to the Seaquarium and I swam with the dolphins. We were doing a taped piece where we communicate with the dolphins.
“So I, Kelly Ripa, jump into the water and I go, “I know how to talk to the dolphins!” I’m like, “I’m going to call them over!’ ”
The star’s friends urged her to get back on board, pointing out that the dolphins weren’t “trained”, but she was determined to prove her point.
She added: “Our friend Brian was standing on the bow of the boat and he’s going, ‘Kel, get back in the boat. Those are wild dolphins, those aren’t trained dolphins’.
“But, in my mind, I thought I could talk to the dolphins because I’d spoken so fluently to them.”
Mark – who took over from Ryan Seacrest as his wife’s co-host – previously spoke about sharing a “telepathy” with his wife about which topics are appropriate on the programme.
He told SiriusXM’s ‘The Jess Cagle Show’ with Julia Cunningham: “I think we’ve got a pretty good sense of what that line is. It’ll probably move back and forth a little bit, you know?
“But we haven’t had too many discussions about, ‘OK, well that’s off limits, right?’ I think it’s just kind of in our brains.
“We often have conversations with us just looking at each other, like, ‘Are we gonna do this?’ Or ’No, we’re not doing this. Of course we’re not doing this.’
“So we have… we have that telepathy that married couples after 27 years kind of do.”

Demi Moore felt like she ‘didn’t belong’ in Hollywood after 40

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Moore felt like she “didn’t belong” in Hollywood any more after she turned 40.
The 61-year-old actress took time out from the movie business in the late 1990s to focus on raising her three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis and she has revealed she felt out of place when she returned to the industry – especially when her appearance in a bikini in her 2003 comeback film ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’ sparked a huge “conversation”.
In a conversation with Michelle Yeoh for Interview magazine, Demi explained: “I had done ‘Charlie’s Angels’, and there was a lot of conversation around this scene in a bikini, and it was all very heightened, a lot of talk about how I looked.
“And then I found that there didn’t seem to be a place for me. I didn’t feel like I didn’t belong. It’s more like I felt that feeling of, I’m not 20, I’m not 30, but I wasn’t yet what they perceived as a mother … Where do I fit in? It was a time that felt, not dead, but flat.”
Yeoh, 62, responded saying: “Hollywood is cruel to women of that age, where you don’t find the scripts or the characters that resonate with you anymore.
“It’s either, you are the mother or you’re old enough not to be sexy in their eyes.
“It’s like, why can’t a 45-year-old, a 50-year-old or 60-year-old, be sexy? But that whole perception is undergoing a lot of change because people like you and me won’t sit back and just take it.”
Demi went on to add: “No. And I don’t know if I’ve ever done that when I’ve come up against something that I don’t understand exists as a limitation …
“We don’t have to fight against that, we just have to believe that something else is possible.”

Bella Hadid moved into boyfriend Adan Banuelos’ trailer

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid moved into her boyfriend Adan Banuelos’ trailer home at the start of their romance.
The 27-year-old supermodel has been linked to the cowboy since last year and Adan has now opened up about their love affair revealing Bella “happily” moved into his small mobile home and she made the tiny space feel like a “mansion”.
During an appearance on the ‘Along For the Ride’ podcast, he explained: “She did do the 5th wheel [trailer], happily. It was badass.
“That 5th wheel has always felt small and then you get, you know, somebody that you enjoy spending time with and that 5th wheel went from a 5th wheel to a f****** mansion.”
Adan went on to reveal Bella embraced his lifestyle and he came to learn that “material things” just aren’t that important to her.
He said: “It was cool because I really wanted that to be a part of our relationship. You know, you start having feelings for somebody and you start thinking things like, ‘Man, maybe this is the rest of my life here’ and knowing that she is that simple of a human being [and] that the material things aren’t important – or the most important thing.”
Bella fit right in and even started getting up at 2.30am to prepare breakfast for Adan and his crew before they took part in horse riding competitions.
He added: “Being that consistent and that uplifting and positive and warm to everybody she meets and helping with horses and stuff like that it’s just freaking amazing.”
However, the couple won’t be embracing trailer life for much longer as Adan explained Bella has now bought a property in Texas and he’s working on building his own home.
He explained: “I’m working on building a home [but] it’s gonna take me a little bit but she bought something that was a good investment for her …
“Man, I can’t tell you how happy I am. I can’t tell you how fortunate I am.
“This young lady is one of the kindest, biggest-hearted and sweet person I’ve [ever met]. I mean I didn’t know God made ’em like that.”

Armie Hammer selling truck because he ‘can’t afford gas’

OHMYGOSSIP — Armie Hammer is selling his truck because he “can’t afford the gas anymore”.
The 38-year-old actor has revealed he bought himself the GMC pickup as a Christmas present and he “love it intensely” but he’s now decided the time has come to swap it for a “tiny” hybrid because filling up was starting to cost too much money.
In a video posted on Instagram, he showed off his beloved vehicle and explained he’s putting it up for sale. Armie said: “So, I’ve been back in L.A. for a couple of weeks now, this is my truck.
“I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself.
“I have loved this truck intensely and taken it camping and across the country multiple times and on long road trips, and I took it for one last road trip to CarMax [used car store].
“[This is] not an ad for CarMax. This is because I’m selling my truck. Since being back in L.A., I have put about 4 or 500 dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore.”
The ‘Death On The Nile’ star – who is dad to daughter Harper, nine, and son Ford, seven, with his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers – admitted he has fond memories of the truck but is looking forward to a fresh start.
He added: “I mean, this truck, it took the kids home from the hospital and all that stuff. Amazing trips, but you know what, that’s okay.
“I’ve got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably going to put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month and this is it. Here’s to new beginnings. It’s my birthday tomorrow.”
Armie insisted he will be starting his birthday “in a new car, in a new apartment, in a new life in Los Angeles”.
It comes after Armie recently admitted his Hollywood career imploded after he was hit by a string of allegations in 2021, including emotional abuse, manipulation, and rape – and the infamous accusation he harboured fantasies of cannibalism.
The actor – who denied the claims against him – explained his career slump during an appearance on the ‘Painful Lessons’ podcast, saying: “It killed me, it killed my ego, it killed all the people around me that I thought were my friends that weren’t – all of those people, in a flash, went away.
“But the buildings were still standing. I’m still here, I still have my health, and I’m really grateful for that.”

The Good American founder’s six-year-old girl is growing too fast for her mom, who admits she is feeling a “strange mixture of loss, anxiety and fear” as her daughter embarks on the big milestone.
She posted to Snapchat: “It’s always such a rollercoaster of emotions when True starts a new school year. This year is a big milestone for her… first grade.
“I’m not going to lie, I am having a really hard time processing the fact that she’s going into first grade.”
She continued: “There’s this undeniable feeling that I’m losing parts of who she was with each day that passes.
“The little parts of who she used to be are being replaced with new parts that will make up the next little amazing person she will become. And I miss her. All the little versions of her who I used to know. Time moves fast, faster every year it feels like, and this new school year is a reminder to me to fully embrace every moment and soak it all in.”
The 40-year-old reality star gushed: “She is more than I could ever have dreamed of in a daughter.
“Seeing her grow makes me excited for the years and experiences ahead.”
The ‘Kardashians’ star – who has True and son Tatum, two, with ex-partner Tristan Thompson – surprised her little girl with a giant rainbow balloon arch and crayons on her first day.
She captioned her Instagram post: “First Grade!!! True I am so proud of you!!
“I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you! I couldn’t be happier for you my angel. I’m not ok but I’ll pull it together by pick up time.”

Towa Bird gets why people are ‘curious’ about Renee Rapp romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Towa Bird “understands” the fascination surrounding her relationship with Reneé Rapp.
The 25-year-old musician was the lead guitarist for Reneé’s ‘Snow Hard Feelings Tour’, and in March, the pair made their debut at the Vanity Fair’s Oscars afterparty, and Towa insists she gets why people are so “curious” about their romance.
In a new interview, Towa – who has also worked with Olivia Rodrigo – confessed she is “obsessed” with the ‘Mean Girls’ star, 24, and that they partied a little too hard on tour together.
She told Nylon: “I’m obsessed with her, too — repeat!
“It was really lovely that she shared her stage with me. That was a f****** rock star tour… We were just partying after every show. It’s so unsustainable, it’s terrible form from everyone, but it was so much fun.”
She added of the attention they receive: “Everyone [wanting to know] about my business, I understand. We’re living in what feels like the first couple of years where there are actually lesbians, queer women, who are out and on the radio [at the same time].
“I understand why people are wanting to bite. When you’re doing the first of something, people are curious… I would want to know too.”
Meanwhile, Reneé previously admitted she feels a “responsibility” as a queer celebrity.
She told The Independent newspaper: “There’s an inherent responsibility. If you’re somebody who has any sort of visibility as a queer person, right?”
She added: “You want to be careful and respectful and inclusive and really honest. I was freaked out when it started becoming this public thing.
“Also, I was making it a public thing. I still go through this now – I was speaking to my girlfriend this morning, being like, ‘Oh my God, I talk about being gay so much,’ and beating myself up for it, but then I’m like, ‘What am I beating myself up for? What are these internalised homophobic remarks I’m saying to myself?’”

Vinnie Jones was an ‘aggressive lunatic’

OHMYGOSSIP — Vinnie Jones was an aggressive “lunatic” when he was younger and only learned to control his famous temper when he stopped drinking.
The 59-year-old footballer-turned-actor was known for his fiery outbursts in his younger days, but he has been teetotal for more than a decade and he’s now revealed he looked back on his past with the help of a psychologist and concluded he was deeply affected by his parents’ divorce as a child.
He told The Sun newspaper: “It was my first kind of trauma in my life, because it wasn’t common then. It was looked down on.
“I had a lot of aggression as a young man. And when I went to a psychologist, we pinpointed it back to the aggression, mental health and frustration.
“Put that in a glass and put beer with it, and then you’ve got a … lunatic on your hands.”
Vinnie eventually gave up alcohol following a heart-to-heart with Sex Pistols musician Steve Jones, adding: “We’d had a good drink one night and I phoned Steve. I said, ‘I haven’t got a problem’. He went, ‘Yeah, you have’. He knew. Steve’s 30, 40 years sober now. And he was the one I turned to.”
Vinnie also credited his ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ director Guy Ritchie with helping him learn to control his temper, adding: “He said, ‘We’ve all got a dog. Yours is a big [one]. You’ve got to control it. You’ve got to keep it in the kennel’.
“That helped me, what Guy said.”
Since giving up drinking, Vinnie now leads a quiet life on a farm in West Sussex, England and he has no plans for a big blow out party to celebrate his 60th birthday next year.
The movie star concluded: “The old Vinnie would have had a big bash. I’m done with it all really.”

Marisa Tomei loved witnessing Tom Holland and Zendaya fall for each other on set

OHMYGOSSIP — Marisa Tomei loved watching Tom Holland and Zendaya “fall in love” over the course of their ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy.
The 59-year-old actress – who portrayed the titular webslinger’s (Tom) aunt, May Parker, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – has gushed over her co-stars’ “phenomenal talent” and admitted one of her “favourite things” about working on the blockbusters was seeing the pair go from friends and colleagues to lovers.
In a clip shared to X from the recent Fan Expo Canada event, she said: “I think some of the favourite things were really just watching Tom and Zendaya grow up and watching them fall in love.
“And seeing their phenomenal talent and being blown away from the get-go.
“Some people are just meant for it, and they are meant for it.
“They carry enormous, enormous star power and they manage to be real people at the same time.”
Marisa added: “They can do everything. They sing, they dance, they act, they do stunts, they design fashion.
“I mean, what are they not doing? They are incredible, incredible people.”
Tom previously admitted he is “lucky” to have found a partner who works in the same industry because they can talk about their respective experiences with mutual understanding.
Speaking on the ‘SmartLess’ podcast, he said: “I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. It’s interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you.
“You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff — and that’s worth its weight in gold.”
The 28-year-old actor also previously joked that he has no “rizz”, referring to charisma, so had to rely on on-screen chemistry to get Zendaya, 27, to fall for him.
He told BuzzFeed: “I’m happy and in love, so I’ve got no need for rizz.
“I have no rizz whatsoever; I have limited rizz.
“I need you to fall in love with me, really, for it to work. So, long game. Probably making a movie with each other — it definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another; you can sort of blur the lines a little bit.”

The 82-year-old music legend hailed the 34-year-old Grammy winner “my musical and songwriting granddaughter” at the fundraiser for Kamala Harris’ bid to become president on Tuesday (27.08.24) – which has raised more than $100,000.
Carole praising Taylor comes after the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker inducted the former into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
Speaking at the rally – which was not affiliated by Taylor herself – the ‘You’ve Got A Friend’ hitmaker said: “I’m excited about Kamala, because so many people are excited about Kamala.
“I have admired her, the idea that this happened, and the stars lined up, and Joe Biden did a really gracious, hard thing to do, and I’m so proud of him. … But this is about you. This call is about you.”
The iconic songwriter used the platform to encourage people to follow in her footsteps and volunteer to be door knockers to help the 59-year-old Democrat.
She said: “I’ve been a political activist for years. I’ve been a volunteer, I’ve been a door knocker, even as a famous person.
“I’m telling you all this because if any of you are thinking of volunteering to be door knockers or phone callers, but you’re a little nervous about what you might say, please believe me: there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.”
Taylor has yet to voice her support for Kamala’s presidential run, but she did support former president Joe Biden and deputy Kamala in the 2020 election.
However, the group insist it’s not necessary for the ‘All Too Well’ hitmaker to speak up.
Swifties for Kamala’s Social media manager Rohan Reagan told Cosmopolitan: “We are not waiting on Taylor to show her support for Kamala Harris.
“We are doing this outside of her, using the platform of Swifties as a way to get people involved in the election. Taylor did throw her support toward Joe Biden during the 2020 election, so it is possible that she’ll show her support again. But Swifties for Kamala aren’t waiting for her to do that.”
Recently, Kamala’s rival in the race, Donald Trump, 78, used fake AI-generated images of people donning “Swifties for Trump” shirts to falsely claim the pop megastar had endorsed him.
