OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Ortega “got shy” when she met Michael Keaton for the first time.
The 21-year-old actress stars alongside Michael, 72, in ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and Jenna relished the experience of working with one of her acting heroes.
The Hollywood star told BuzzFeed: “I have been such a fan of Michael Keaton for such a long time that I think actually seeing him in person, I actually went inside myself because … I weirdly got shy.
“But he’s so sweet, he’s so funny, so charming, so professional. I feel like I learned so much by even watching him.”
Jenna was also amazed by Michael’s transformation into the character of Beetlejuice.
The actress said: “It was so strange to see him become Beetlejuice because he was unrecognisable. It was the first time I’d ever seen someone completely disappear – no bit of themselves involved. So that was pretty special.”
Earlier this month, Jenna admitted that she felt “terrified” when she joined the star-studded cast of ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’.
The actress stars alongside the likes of Michael, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, and Jenna admitted that she was initially a little anxious about working with her big-name co-stars.
Jenna – who plays the part of Astrid Deetz in ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ – said on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’: “Never in my wildest dreams. I just never could have anticipated something like that happening.
“Lydia [Deetz, Winona’s character] is the coolest character on the planet. Just everything about it, I was terrified.”
Michael has reprised the role of Beetlejuice for the new film, and Jenna recalled being surprised by her co-star while she was in the make-up room.
She shared: “He came up behind me. I was getting a hair and make-up test, and I got a tap on the shoulder and I turned around and it was a jump scare for sure. He was like, ‘Oh hey I’m Michael,’ and he had moulds peeling off his face.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The demand for Oasis tickets could “absolutely dwarf” Taylor Swift’s Eras shows.
The legendary Britpop group have reunited to perform a series of live shows in the UK and Ireland in 2025, and DJ Kevin McManus has suggested that the demand for tickets will outstrip Taylor’s recent gigs in the UK.
He told ITV: “I think people forget but the two Knebworth shows they did almost four percent of the population tried to get tickets.
“They sold out 250,000 tickets, but it was a ridiculous amount of people who tried to buy tickets, they were that huge.
“But this, because people have been talking about it for the past decade, it’s going to be even bigger.
“I think everybody is going to try and get a ticket.
“Taylor Swift was obviously the big deal this summer, I think it’s going to absolutely dwarf that, just because it’s them and there’s that talk.
“And there’s always going to be that ‘are they going to do it? Are they going to fall out before the first show, are they going to fall out after five shows? Will they do the rest?’
“There’s always going to be that air of jeopardy.”
Meanwhile, Professor Jonathan Shalit, the chairman of talent agency InterTalent, recently claimed that Oasis could make “over £400 million” from their reunion.
He told The Sun newspaper: “With tickets, sponsorship, merchandise and filming, I would predict an income for Noel and Liam of over £50 million each.”
Jonathan observed that the 2025 tour – which will include gigs in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin – will be worth an eye-watering amount of money for the band.
He said: “This is a tour that could easily gross over £400 million.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan McGee thinks Oasis’ reunion is “good for music”.
The 63-year-old executive signed the legendary Britpop group to his Creation Records label in 1993, and Alan has taken to social media to react to the news that Oasis after reuniting for a series of shows in the UK and Ireland.
Alongside a new image of Liam and Noel Gallagher, Alan – who co-founded Creation Records in the mid-80s – wrote on Instagram: “Good for music

Oasis have announced plans to perform gigs in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin in 2025.
The band’s reunion has also been welcomed by Andy Burnham, the mayor of Manchester, the home city of the Gallagher brothers.
The mayor wrote on X: “Manchester is having another moment right now. @neworder @Johnny_Marr @BlossomsBand all outstanding at the weekend.
“And 2025 will be even bigger. [prayer emoji] (sic)”
Oasis split in acrimonious circumstances back in 2009, and Noel subsequently suggested that they left a void in the landscape of the music industry.
The 57-year-old star also admitted to being surprised by the band’s popularity among younger people.
He said: “It’s a real privilege when these anniversaries come round and kids are still into it, for something that we kind of, we created that sound. “You know, it wasn’t thought out, we were the real deal, we were just a bunch of guys who created this noise and the songs are great and it’s still going.
“I can’t believe it, it’s still going.
“It’s unbelievable … a lot of it is to do with kids that are, teenagers now don’t really have anything like that anymore and, I guess suppose like we did looking back to The Beatles and Stones and stuff like that so it’s a bit of a shame – not a shame, ‘cause it’s great for me obviously – that no one really came along to take our place if you like.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis and Jason Kelce have signed a nine-figure deal for their ‘New Heights’ podcast.
The 34-year-old sports star and his brother Jason, 36, have gained a huge fan following over recent years, and they’ve now signed a money-spinning, multi-year deal with Wondery.
Jen Sargent, the CEO of Wondery, told The Hollywood Reporter: “We’ve been watching the growth of the podcast, really since it was launched, and I have been building a relationship with Travis and Jason and getting to know them for a while now.
“Sports is a really exciting category for podcast listeners. It’s a strategic priority of Wondery’s and Amazon’s. So there were a lot of reasons to think about joining forces here on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.”
‘New Heights’ will still be available on all podcast services and on YouTube, while Wondery will also offer ad-free listening to its subscribers.
The podcast studio – which is owned by Amazon – will have the right to host live streams.
What’s more, Wondery can develop, manufacture, license and distribute ‘New Heights”-themed merchandise as part of the agreement.
Travis has become one of the most talked-about athletes in the world since he began dating Taylor Swift in 2023, and Patrick Mahomes, Travis’ teammate, previously claimed that the pop star has helped to make the Kansas City Chiefs a “worldwide team”.
Speaking to Time magazine, he explained: “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team. That came from Taylor’s fanbase.”
Patrick also admitted to being wowed by Taylor’s down-to-earth attitude and her work ethic, explaining that she’s always “working on something”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Martin loves the mystery element of ‘Only Murders in the Building’.
The 79-year-old actor – who stars alongside Selena Gomez and Martin Short on the hit TV series – has revealed that he loved the experience of shooting season four of the show.
Steve told ‘Extra’: “It’s been really fun. The mystery-solving part is really fabulous this season.”
Season four of the show sees the gang move from New York City to Hollywood, after they’re are offered a movie about their podcast.
Steve – who co-created the show – explained: “We’ve been offered – we think – a movie about our podcast, but we don’t really understand that it’s going to be played by different people. So, we go to Hollywood and we are introduced to our doppelganger stars, we go to a Hollywood party, and then it takes off from there.”
‘Only Murders in the Building’ has been a big success since the show premiered in 2021 – but Martin Short previously admitted to having some doubts about working with Selena.
The 73-year-old actor told PEOPLE: “The first day we shot, I had never met Selena. Because of COVID, we’d only Zoomed. And I was driving to work and I thought, ‘I wonder what Selena’s could be like? I mean, she could be a nightmare. She could be a pop princess nightmare’.
“Right away – from the first second we started to the make-up room – it was, like, fabulous.”
Martin also revealed that he admires Selena’s professional attitude.
He said: “[She’s] so good, so talented, such a pro – it’s fabulous.”
Prior to that, Selena heaped praise on her ‘Only Murders in the Building’ co-stars.
The brunette beauty initially felt anxious about working with the likes of Martin and Steve, but she ultimately relished the experience.

The 57-year-old actress portrays a high-ranking CEO in the new erotic thriller film, but Nicole feels hesitant about watching the movie at the premiere in Venice.
The Oscar-winning actress – who stars alongside Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde and Antonio Banderas in the film – told Vanity Fair magazine: “There’s something in me going: ‘Okay, this was made for the big screen and to be seen with people. I’m not sure I have that much bravery.'”
Nicole acknowledged that ‘Babygirl’ is the most “exposing” film of her career.
She shared: “I’ve made some films that are pretty exposing, but not like this.”
Nicole feels particularly anxious about her sex scenes.
The Hollywood star explained: “It’s like, golly, I’m doing this, and it’s actually now going to be seen by the world. That’s a very weird feeling.”

The loved-up couple recently announced the arrival of their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, and they’re both loving the challenges of parenthood.

Hailey, 27, is “enjoying and savouring these moments being a new mom,”
The insider added: “She is over the moon and in mom zone, and completely focused on the health of the baby.”

The 21-year-old actress has already enjoyed huge success in Hollywood – but Jenna is also drawn to the idea of becoming a an investigative journalist.
Asked what job she would do if she wasn’t an actress, Jenna told BuzzFeed: “All of people in my family are in the medical field. I feel like I would be a nurse, of some sort.
“I would also love to be an investigative journalist. I think that would be so fun, to just commit to something and become obsessed with something and then write about it. Potentially travel across the world to speak on those things. I just think that’s such a cool job.”
Jenna has even contemplated what her life would like if she decided to quit acting.
She said: “Anytime I get overwhelmed I think, ‘Do I want to do this? Do I not want to do this?’ I always go, ‘There’s always investigative journalism.'”

Jenna confessed to having a similar sense of humour to her on-screen character.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she explained: “People have been telling me I look like her since I was six years old. And I have a pretty dark sense of humour!”
Despite this, Jenna needed to make some adjustments in order to play Wednesday.
She said: “I had to do things a bit different with my physicality and the way I carried myself.

The 35-year-old singer has been exploring new horizons with his upcoming solo album, ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’, and Joe has openly discussed the personal experiences that inspired it.
The pop star star – who was married to actress Sophie Turner between 2019 and 2023 – told Billboard: “I was going through a lot of life changes.
“Finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price’s bankruptcy case has been adjourned until next month.
The 46-year-old star – who was arrested on her return from Turkey to London’s Heathrow Airport earlier this month after failing to attend a hearing on 30 July – was due to face questions from barristers in a specialist bankruptcy court on Tuesday (27.08.24) but her lawyer, Bertie Boer-Roberts, requested she be able to attend a “private interview” in September instead.
The barrister cited the former glamour model’s “mental well-being” as one of the reasons behind having the case heard behind closed doors, noting Katie had “long been subject to extreme media scrutiny” and this would be exacerbated by public examination of her financial affairs.
The lawyer said his client would be able to give “more considered answers” in a private interview and felt it would be useful to “take stock of a complex matter with a long history”.
He also stressed Katie “understands her duties” and had “been compliant” with the case so far.
However, Judge Nicholas Briggs admitted he was hesitant to agree and said: “My concern is we’ve been here before”.
He then asked lawyers for both sides to discuss details out of the courtroom and on return, both Mr. Boer-Roberts and Darragh Connell, the barrister for the trustee, agreed to Katie attending a private interview on 24 September, before a potential personal examination on 11 February, if deemed necessary.
The judge told the former ‘Loose Women’ star: “If you fail to comply with the undertaking you will be at risk of being arrested”.
He told her she was expected to attend the private interview and that she was asked to give a signed statement regarding both the documents she was able to hand over, and any she could not provide, by 17 September.
As she left the London court building, Katie – who was previously declared bankrupt in 2019 and then again in March this year over an unpaid tax bill of over £750,000 – blasted assembled media.
She raged: “I hope you reporters write a good story today, won’t you, all the bull**** that you write, scumbags.”
Katie was previously ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from OnlyFans until February 2027, and have six of her vehicles delivered to the trustee to help pay off the money she owes.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean Kingston and his mother have pleaded not guilty to fraud.
The ‘Beautiful Girls’ hitmaker and 61-year-old Janice Turner have been accused of of falsely claiming they had sent bank transfers for luxury items worth more than $1 million, but on Monday (26.08.24), they denied the charges of organised fraud and grand theft during an arraignment hearing in front of Broward Circuit Judge Ernest Kollra.
According to the Sun Sentinel newspaper, bond had already been set at $90,000 in a previous hearing and the judge didn’t make any changes.
The United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida, previously explained the 34-year-old rapper and his mother’s charges stem from their alleged involvement in “a scheme to defraud victim sellers of high-end specialty vehicles, jewellery, and other goods purchased by the defendants through the use of fraudulent documents.”
The office went on to state the pair “unjustly enriched themselves by falsely representing that they had executed bank wire or other monetary payment transfers as payment for vehicles, jewellery, and other goods purchased by the defendants, when in fact no such bank wire or other monetary payment transfers had been executed by the purported banks, and thereafter the defendants retained or attempted to retain the vehicles, jewellery and other goods despite non-payment. Through the execution of this scheme, the defendants obtained in excess of $1 million in property.”
The pair are accused of having stolen almost $500,000 in jewellery, more than $200,000 from Bank of America, more than $100,000 from First Republic Bank, $160,000 from a Cadillac Escalade dealer and $86,000 from a maker of customised beds.
In May, Kingston was arrested at an army base in California – where he was performing – and extradited to Florida after his home in the state was raided, where his mother was also arrested.
At the time of his arrest, the musician was serving two years probation for trafficking stolen property.
His mother previously pleaded guilty to bank fraud for stealing $160,000 and served more than a year in prison.
The pair are due back in court in October, and are also facing related charges in federal court.

The former ‘Voice’ coach has joined a host of country stars in paying tribute to his late mentor – who died of stomach cancer in February – in NBC’s concert special ‘Toby Keith: American Icon’, and in a preview from Wednesday’s (28.08.24) show, he recalled how they bonded over their shared home state of Oklahoma.
In a clip obtained by E! News, Blake said: “When I was just a baby artist coming up in the music industry, Toby was the first major artist to give me a chance. And I think it was because I was a fellow Oky.
“I looked up to Toby. and I think I learned a lot being around him. Once you were in there, you were a lifetime member. There will never be another Toby Keith.”
Reba McEntire celebrated her late pal for more than his musical accomplishments, noting he had a heart “as big as Oklahoma”.
She added: “Toby reflected the best of Oklahoma. A lot of people dream of making it big so they can leave their hometown. Toby wanted to make his hometown bigger. And when he made it big, he took the whole state with him.”
Meanwhile, Dolly Parton compared Toby to fellow late country legend Merle Haggard, who died in 2016.
She said: “You know, they always called Merle Haggard the poet of the common man.
“I believe Toby picked up that title from Merle for the next generation. Toby, just know that we will always love you.”

The 32-year-old singer-and-actress – who plays Mabel Mora in the hit Disney+ series – would “love” her pal to make a cameo on the star-studded show and though the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker recently completed the European leg of her long-running ‘Eras’ tour, she doesn’t think the pop star would have the time to get involved.
Asked about the possibility of Taylor making an appearance, Selena told E! News: “You’re hilarious. She’s a little busy, you guys.”
But she also admitted: “Oh dear. I love that.”
Though the Rare Beauty founder shut down the idea, her castmates Steve Martin and Martin Short joked Taylor is desperate to appear and they can’t stop her from trying to get involved.
Steve joked: “Listen, she calls us every day. Here—she’s calling right now. Ahh I’ll take it later.”
Martin added: “No, I was talking to Taylor around 3am.”
‘Father of the Bride’ star Steve went on to praise both Selena and Taylor for the way they have handled their lives in the spotlight.

“Taylor Swift handles everything perfectly and so does Selena. In the situations I’ve seen – politically, trolls, everything – she just seems to have a wisdom about how to do something quietly, effortlessly. And I know that you have to think about these things.”

Selena was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for ‘Only Murders in the Building’, and she was quickly congratulated by her co-stars.

“I’m in LA, Marty’s always all over the world, and Steve is in New York. So, obviously, we can’t be together, but we’ll celebrate when we get back together again. But it was crazy.”
Selena has been nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series gong at the Emmys, and regardless of whether she wins the accolade or not, she already feels like a winner.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brittany Cartwright has filed for divorce from Jax Taylor.
The 35-year-old reality TV star – who has Cruz, three, with her estranged husband – announced in February she had split from the model-and-actor after almost five years of marriage, and on Tuesday (27.08.24), she submitted paperwork to legally end their marriage.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the ‘Valley’ star listed the date of separation as 24 January, 2024, and cited irreconcilable differences for the breakdown of their relationship.
Brittany is seeking primary legal and physical custody of Cruz and is open to visitation for Jax, 45.
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star also wants to block the ability of the court to award spousal support to either her or her estranged husband.
Brittany and Jax announced their split earlier this year – but she subsequently admitted that a reconciliation remained possible.
She told Us Weekly: “There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.
“Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologise for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard.”
In July, Jax checked into an in-patient mental health facility for care and support.
His representative admitted that it was a “particularly sensitive time for him and his family”.
The rep said in a statement at the time: “Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast.
“He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.”
He and Brittany started dating in 2015 and got engaged three years later, before tying the knot in June 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Platt dumped Noah Galvin in the early days of their romance because he was worried they would “ruin” their friendship.
The Broadway stars got engaged in November 2022 and the Tony Award-winning actor has recalled how they started “hooking up” in 2019 while workshopping the musical ‘Alice by Heart’, only for him to “panic” about the future.
Speaking to Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his ‘Dinner’s On Me’ podcast, Ben said: “We would go to the stairwell during break and make out in the stairwell.”

But after a few months, Ben “panicked” and sent Noah a “text that’s so long that it has an arrow at the bottom to go to the rest of it.”
He recalled: “I sent him a dissertation, and it was like, ‘Oh, feel like we’re gonna be friends for our whole lives,’ and like, ‘I’m, I’m worried if we jump into something, it’s gonna ruin our chance to be friends.’ ”
He ultimately declared he wanted them to just be friends, leaving Noah unimpressed as he told him “I hate you”.
But Ben admitted: “Basically, now I can tell in hindsight, like, [I] met someone who, like, actually we saw each other and it freaked me out.”
The pair – who first met in 2015 through mutual pals – retained a friendship for some time and occasionally ran into one another at events before things eventually turned romantic again.
The ‘Book of Mormon’ star recently discussed his wedding plans and admitted his only concern is to keep people dancing.
He told People magazine: “For me, the only real judge of how the vibe is how many people are on the dancefloor.
“We’re going to have a band at one point and a DJ at a different point. So that’s my focus. I’m not someone who needs to focus on the place settings like, beyond food, I’m chilling.”
Ben previously admitted he and Noah had “skated around” getting into a relationship for a long time.
He told Kelly Clarkson: “We were friends for five years, and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot.
“We kind of skated around it for a long time.”
The actor added in an interview with Out magazine he had finally found a partner “that I really love”.
He said: “(Noah) has a really unique ability to help me to… be present where I am and to make the life that’s happening day to day too wonderful to not want to be on the ground for it.”
