Katie Price vows to give up vaping after being ‘disrespectful’ to her mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has vowed to give up vaping and admitted she has been “disrespectful” to her mother – who underwent a lung transplant.
Like many, the former glamour model has become addicted to the cigarette alternative and has decided to throw out the “horrible thing”.
Katie is adamant she has the “strength to get rid of them” and is encouraging anyone else using them to join her.
Speaking to her followers on her Instagram Story, she said: “I have a big confession to make. If there’s anyone out there who wants to join me, do it.
“I have been vaping for a year it’s no good for you.”
Referring to her mum Amy’s health battle, she continued: “Especially when my mum has had her lung transplant it’s disrespectful doing this in front of my mum. I have decided today is the day I am throwing this chemical battery, addictive, horrible thing away.
“I am now doing vapes no more from today. I have got the strength to get rid of them, join me!”
Showing herself clearing out all her vapes, she added: “That’s it in the bin, I have cleared all my vapes out the cars everything.”
Katie ditching the bad habit comes after her bankruptcy case was adjourned until next month.
The 46-year-old star – who was arrested on her return from Turkey to London’s Heathrow Airport earlier this month after failing to attend a hearing on 30 July – was due to face questions from barristers in a specialist bankruptcy court on Tuesday (27.08.24) but her lawyer, Bertie Boer-Roberts, requested she be able to attend a “private interview” in September instead.
The barrister cited her “mental well-being” as one of the reasons behind having the case heard behind closed doors, noting Katie had “long been subject to extreme media scrutiny” and this would be exacerbated by public examination of her financial affairs.
The lawyer said his client would be able to give “more considered answers” in a private interview and felt it would be useful to “take stock of a complex matter with a long history.”
He also stressed Katie “understands her duties” and had “been compliant” with the case so far.
However, Judge Nicholas Briggs admitted he was hesitant to agree and said: “My concern is we’ve been here before”.
He then asked lawyers for both sides to discuss details out of the courtroom and on return, both Mr. Boer-Roberts and Darragh Connell, the barrister for the trustee, agreed to Katie attending a private interview on 24 September, before a potential personal examination on 11 February, if deemed necessary.
The judge told the former ‘Loose Women’ star: “If you fail to comply with the undertaking you will be at risk of being arrested.”
As she left the London court building, Katie – who was previously declared bankrupt in 2019 and then again in March this year over an unpaid tax bill of over £750,000 – blasted assembled media.
She raged: “I hope you reporters write a good story today, won’t you, all the bull**** that you write, scumbags.”
Katie was previously ordered to pay 40 per cent of her monthly income from OnlyFans until February 2027, and have six of her vehicles delivered to the trustee to help pay off the money she owes.

Rob Lowe and Michael J Fox got celebrity bus trip halted by cops

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Lowe and Michael J. Fox got pulled over by police during a star-studded bus trip because they were smoking marijuana.
The former ‘West Wing’ actor – who has been sober since 1990 – recalled a memorable charity initiative which saw a string of celebrities escorted out of their vehicle by cops after he and his pal attracted unwanted attention with their drug consumption.
Appearing on Ted Danson’s ‘Where Everybody Knows Your Name’ podcast, Rob recalled: “There was a bus tour through California for Prop 65, which was about cleaning up our water system, and everybody on the planet was on it.
“But there were two different buses … We got pulled over for speeding, but also because Michael J. Fox and I were smoking pot out of the top of the Greyhound bus roof.”
“The cop pulled us over and it was like a clown car — out came Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Judd Nelson, Michael J. Fox, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Robert Downey Jr., Jane Fonda, Danny Glover.”
Asked why the bus was pulled over, the 60-year-old star admitted: “We had the top emergency hatch off, Michael and I, and we were smoking pot.”
The ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ actor recently admitted one of the major reasons why he decided to get sober was when he ignored a call from his mom after his grandfather suffered a heart attack.
He told People magazine:
“The thing that really changed me was not being able to show up for my family and myself.
“I remember like it was yesterday – my mom telling me (on my answering machine) to ‘Pick up, pick up’ because my grandpa had had a heart attack.
“I couldn’t deal with it in the state I was in, and I needed to go to sleep to wake up so I could deal with it.
“Who doesn’t keep a bottle of Cuervo Gold (tequila) by their bedside table?
“That was the final wake-up call. I’ve been sober ever since.”

‘Lazy’ Tori Spelling gets her son ready for school before bed

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling is “so lazy” she dresses her son for school before he goes to bed.
The former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress – who has Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11 , and seven-year-old Beau with estranged husband Dean McDermott – admitted she’s found a way to save time in the mornings, by encouraging her youngest child to be extremely prepared the night before.
Speaking on her ‘MisSPELLING’ podcast, she said: “It’s so bad. I’ve gotten so lazy with my youngest one because there’s so many that at night I put him in his clothes for the next day…
“So, he has dinner, he takes his bath but then I’ll be like, ‘Hey, dude. It will save an extra five minutes if we get dressed now and then you can sleep later’ and I can sleep later, wink wink.”
Tori admitted she has “convinced” her son “it’s cool” to get ready in this way but is worried she is a “bad mom”.
Her guest, Debbie Gibson, reassured the 51-year-old star that she was simply doing what she needed and “getting through it”.
Tori also insisted “it’s not every day” that she sends Beau to bed in his school clothes.
Despite her struggle juggling routine with her large brood, Tori recently claimed on her podcast she’d like to get pregnant again.
When guest Sara Evans said she “would love to be pregnant again” the host – who is going through menopause – said: “Same, my friend!”
Tori then jokingly said Sara’s former Canadian Football League player husband Jay Barker, 51, should “impregnate” them, adding she “should have” frozen her eggs.
The actress – who declared she was “fertile” at the start of the podcast episode – married Dean in 2006 and stayed together when he came clean about cheating in 2014 and they split for good in June 2023.
Dean has since moved on with Lily Calo, 32, while Tori admitted to Sara she was “worried” about finding a future partner.
She added: “I have five kids – who wants that?”

Angelina Jolie feels ‘more grateful’ to be working again

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie’s time away from acting has made her “more grateful” for her career.
The 49-year-old actress hasn’t appeared in a film since 2021’s ‘Eternals’ but she has made her comeback as opera singer Maria Callas in ‘Maria’ and she admitted her break made her appreciate being part of a “creative world” even more.
speaking at a press conference for the movie at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday (29.08.24), she said: “I’ve needed to be home more with my family these last years, and in that time, I’ve maybe become more grateful to have the opportunity to … be in this creative world that we are all fortunate to be a part of.”
The ‘Maleficent’ star – who has Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with exc-husband Brad Pitt – was “terribly nervous” about singing in ‘Maria’ but thanked her sons for helping put her at ease.
She said: “I was terribly nervous; I spent almost seven months training. My first time singing, I remember being so nervous. My sons were there and they helped to block the door [so] that nobody else was coming in, and I was shaky.
“And [director Pablo Larraín], in his decency, started me in a small room and ended me in La Scala. So he gave me time to grow. I was frightened to live up to [Callas].”
Angelina joked that, after making the movie, she might even get involved in karaoke nights in the future.
Asked if she has a favourite karaoke song, she quipped: “I didn’t sing before this [movie] so I haven’t done karaoke, but now maybe I have a few!”
In December, Angelina admitted she wouldn’t have opted to become an actress if she was starting her career now.
She told WSJ. magazine: “I wouldn’t be an actress today.
“When I was starting out, it wasn’t as much of an expectation to be as public, to share so much.”
The ‘Girl, Interrupted’ star – who is the daughter of actor Jon Voight and late actress Marcheline Bertrand – also admitted she has “never” been “very impressed” with Hollywood after growing up around it.
She said: “I grew up in quite a shallow place. Of all the places in the world, Hollywood is not a healthy place. So you seek authenticity.
“I never bought into it as significant or important.”

Amandla Stenberg not shocked by Acolyte cancelation following bigoted backlash

OHMYGOSSIP — Amandla Stenberg isn’t surprised ‘The Acolyte’ was cancelled following a “rampage of vitriol” over its inclusive messaging.
The 25-year-old actress led the cast of the ‘Star Wars’ spin-off as both Osha and Mae, twin warriors in training on opposite sides of the Force, and she has hit out at the “bigotry and hateful language” she and her co-stars have received when the show aired before being axed after just one season.
In videos shared to her Instagram Story, Amandla said: “I’m gonna be transparent and say it’s not a huge shock for me. For those who aren’t aware, there has been a rampage of vitriol that we have faced since the show was announced…
“We started experiencing a rampage of, I would say hyper-conservative bigotry and vitriol, prejudiced hatred, and hateful language towards us.
“This really affected me when I first got the job, because even though I anticipated it happening, it’s not something you can fully understand what it feels like until it happens to you.”
The ‘Hate U Give’ star – who uses both female and gender-neutral pronouns – felt it was important to address the backlash and honour their own “ethics and belief system” by doing so.
Amandla said: “It became inarguable for me at a certain point that in order to continue to be myself, I would have to honour my value system by being vocal, even within the context of working for Disney and working within the large, massive IP that is ‘Star Wars’…
“For me it became a situation where there was no option but for me to honour my sense of ethics and belief system.”
Amandla took the time to thank those who had supported the show, admitting they had made it a “worthwhile” experience”.
She said: “It has been an incredible honour and dream for me to be in this universe.
“Of course, I’m very sad about the show being cancelled. … I just want to let those people know out there who supported us in that way, and supported us vocally — despite and in the face of all of the vitriol that we received and the kind of the targeted attack, I would say, we received by the alt-right — just that you were deeply loved and appreciated.
“And it made this job all the worthwhile for me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart insists there is “absolutely no rift” between him and his wife.
The ‘Maggie May’ rocker, 79, spoke about their relationship on Thursday (29.08.24) in the wake of rumours he and his partner Penny Lancaster, 53, were going through a rocky patch over an apparent dispute over whether they should be based in the US.
He said on Instagram: “We wanted to put the record straight. There is absolutely no rift between Penny and I and no disagreement over where we should reside, in fact it’s the opposite.
“We moved permanently back to our beloved Britain a year ago but are fortunate to also have homes in different countries, which we love to visit.
“Originally we did think it made sense to sell our house in LA, but having spent a wonderful time there this summer with family and friends during my Vegas residency we realised that it makes sense to keep our house there.
“Two of my eldest children still live in Celtic House (Rod’s LA home.)
“Penny and I could not be more in love with each other after 27 glorious years. “Please trust me on this… there’s no disharmony in our marriage.”
The singer signed off his post with the line: “Rod ‘a very lucky man’ Stewart.”
A report stated Rod and Penny had differences after the singer reportedly did a U-turn on apparent plans to sell his $74 million mansion in Beverly Hills mansion and move back to his native Britain full-time.
London-born Rod has just extended his Las Vegas residency.
Former swimwear model Penny, who was born in Essex, met the rocker in 1999 when she performed as part of his band and while he was still married to his second wife Rachel Hunter.
Rachel, 54, and Rod separated the same year and divorced in 2006.
The singer is a father of eight children by different five women, with his kids aged from 59 to 13.
His kids are daughter Sarah Streeter, 59, Kimberly, 43, Ruby, 35, and Renee, 30, and sons Sean, 42, and Liam, 28, as well as Alastair, 18, and 13-year-old Aiden.
Rod also has three grandchildren – Delilah, 12, and 15-month-olds Otis and Louie.

Justin Theroux ‘engaged to actress Nicole Brydon Bloom’

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Theroux is reportedly engaged to actress Nicole Brydon Bloom.
The ‘American Psycho’ actor, 53, and the 30-year-old star are said to be planning to walk down the aisle after he apparently popped the question in Italy after more than a year of dating.
People have reported the couple are engaged after fans spotted Nicole was wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger while appearing on the red carpet with Justin at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday. (29.08.24)
Nicole didn’t shy away from flashing her bling and put her left hand on Justin’s torso and arm during the event.
The couple were first romantically linked in February 2023, and attended the Venice movie festival to promote his new film ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’, set to hit cinemas next month.
They made their red carpet debut as a couple in March at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, wearing matching all-black outfits.
They were also photographed getting cosy on a night out in New York City in August 2023, and next month were spotted getting dinner with Nicole’s parents.
Justin’s exes include ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston, 55, to whom he was married from 2015 to 2018.
The exes are said to have stayed friendly after their split and were spotted getting dinner together at the Il Cantinori restaurant in New York last April.

Asia Argento still ‘terrified’ of Harvey Weinstein

OHMYGOSSIP — Asia Argento is still “terrified” of Harvey Weinstein.
The Italian actress, 48, was among the first of a series of women in the movie business to publicly accuse the Hollywood producer of abuse and became a leading figure in the #MeToo movement before he was jailed for 23 years for rape and sexual assault.
She has now told Italian magazine Sette about how the 72-year-old still petrifies her even though he is behind bars: “One remains forever tied to the person who harmed them. I wonder what life in prison is like for someone like him who had everything?
“He was surrounded by people who would do whatever he asked. Perhaps now, he’s the one who is afraid?”
When asked if she would ever want to meet Weinstein again, the actress added:
“I wouldn’t accept (to see him): he still terrifies me. For a long time, I lived with anxiety whenever I encountered him at events.
“The fact that he’s locked up reassures me.”
Despite becoming a leading light in the #MeToo movement that exploded in the wake of the Weinstein case, Asia has slammed it for turning into a “meat grinder” that led “witch hunts”.
She blasted: “It started as a pure movement, then the meat grinder took over. Media witch hunts, persecutions through tweets and hashtags: in America, all of this is incredibly strong.
“I find cancel culture frightening: from exposing the misdeeds of criminals like Weinstein, who raped girls with impunity, we’ve moved on to cancelling people who have less than impeccable sexual conducts.
“But who really does? I certainly don’t. It’s become an obsessive interest in people’s sex lives.”
But the mother-of-two stressed there were positives to the movement, adding: “For the new generations, like that of my children, there’s a greater understanding of issues related to rape, harassment, and consent.
“These were topics that weren’t discussed when I was young. However, America has taken everything to a deadly extreme, turning it into a mess that oversimplifies things.
“A fake new puritanism that also humiliates culture, art, and music. In cinema, sexuality can no longer be portrayed in all its complexity. I have the desire to destroy all of this.”

The Super Bowl-winning NFL star, 34, who has been dating ‘Bad Blood’ singer Taylor, also 34, since last summer, referred to his growing feelings for the performer during a roundtable for his Kansas City Chiefs team.
Travis was in a discussion with Chiefs announcer Mitch Holthus, along with fellow players Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Justin Reid and Harrison Butker when Travis told Mitch: “We love you.”

He told the 28-year-old quarterback: “I won’t hold you up to that. I know the answer.”

Angelina Jolie declares classical music and opera ease ‘despair’ and ‘pain’

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie finds “certain sounds” ease her “despair” and “pain”.
The ‘Maleficent’ actress, 49, who is still embroiled in a bitter custody battle with her ‘Fight Club’ actor ex-husband Brad Pitt, 60, after they split in 2016, opened up about how she thinks classical music and opera can soothe anyone in distress.
She said at the Venice Film Festival, where she is promoting her film ‘Maria’ – in which she plays opera singer Maria Callas – when asked about her musical tastes: “I was more of a punk and I loved all music but I probably listened to The Clash more than most.
“As I have gotten older I have listened to classical music and opera. I think I still love the music I did when I was younger, I would still listen to The Clash.
“But I think when you have felt a certain level of despair, of pain, of love at a certain point there are only certain sounds that can match that feeling and to me the immensity of the feeling encapsulated in the sounds of opera – there is nothing like it.
“That feeling that would move all of us if we were to hear it would be the only sound that would explain that pain, so I have leant more towards it now.”
Angelina hinted at her sadness after her father Jon Voight said he wishes her and Brad’s divorce battles would “be over”.
The ‘Midnight Cowboy’ actor, 85, spoke out about the former couple’s long-running disputes over custody of their six children and French vineyard – before issuing a public plea to Brad to put a stop to the disputes with 49-year-old Angelina.
He told Fox News Digital: “I wish that would be over. It’s tough. I wish they found a way to make peace.”
Jon added he is worried about how the warring couple’s legal woes has affected his grandchildren, with Angelina and Brad – who have been broken up since 2019 – sharing children Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.
The Hollywood veteran went on: “I think that the kids need some stability. I love the kids and I love my daughter, and I want Brad to step up, too (and do) what he has to do (and) end this nonsense.”

Sid Wilson’s face ‘basically melted from nose down’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sid Wilson’s face is “basically melted from the nose down”.
The Slipknot rocker, 47, was left with severe burns earlier this month by an “explosion” in his face while working on the Iowa farm he owns with his partner Kelly Osbourne, 39, with whom he has two-year-old son Sidney.
He has been posting videos on his Instagram Stories showing his face being tended to by former reality TV star Kelly, and has now told Fox News Digital about his recovery: “(My) face is basically melted from the nose down. My whole right arm is bandaged up, half of my left arm.
“But the swelling’s gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it’s regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly.”
“I’ve had better days, I guess, but I’m alive, so I’m doing good.”
Sid added the explosion happened when he went outside to check on a wood pile he had been burning on his property.
He said: “I lit it and let it burn down. So, the next day, I went to check it to see, you know, how much was left, if anything.
“And there was a certain amount of debris around the side still left, so I, like a dummy, (did) what I’m not supposed to do, but I added some gas to it.
“My lack of patience got the better of me, and I was like, screw it. I’ll be all right, you know?
“And I squatted down and reached out and lit (the pile), and it just, it was really humid out so there was still a lot of vapours lingering around in there, and it just … woof. Exploded.”
After he was burned and hospitalised, Sid was transferred to another hospital in Des Moines where he continued to receive treatment for his burns while his girlfriend remained by his side.
He said about Kelly: “She’s been completely invaluable. She’s amazing. Being here and taking care of all that for me, I’m not really sure what I’d be doing if she wasn’t here doing that.”
Sid also warned fans: “Don’t f*** around with fire. It’s going to win every time.”

Angelina Jolie got sons to guard door of singing rehearsal room when training for Maria Callas role

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie got her sons to block the door of her rehearsal room when she was training to sing like Maria Callas.
The ‘Maleficent’ actress stars as the iconic opera singer in the upcoming movie ‘Maria’ and spent seven months working on her vocals for the performance.
She said at the Venice Film Festival where she is promoting the movie about her nerves over the role: “Everybody here knows I was terribly nervous about the singing. I spent almost seven months training because when you work with (director) Pablo (Larrain) you can’t do anything by half.
“He demands in a most wonderful way that that you really do the work and really learn and train.
“My first time singing I was so nervous that my sons were there and they helped to block the door so that nobody else was coming in.
“And I was shaky. Pablo in his decency started me in a small room and ended me in La Scala.
“So he gave me a time to grow. I was frightened to live up to her and you know I had not sung in public.”
Angelina plays Maria when the singing icon was nearing death and losing her voice.
The opera legend is still idolised as the greatest voice in the history of opera and died in 1977 aged 53 after a spell of illness and isolation.
Angelina’s gruelling role comes as she continues to battle her ‘Fight Club’ ex-husband Brad Pitt, 60, over the custody of their six children and over the shares she sold in their Château Miraval winery in France.
The actress filed for divorce from ‘Fight Club’ actor Brad in 2016 and the pair were awarded joint custody of their kids by a judge in May 2021.
After the ruling, Angelina decided to sell her chunk of her and Brad’s vineyard, which has plunged them into an epic and complex legal battle.
A source has told Page Six Brad is refusing to let go of the fight over the business as he sees it as an asset for his children.
The insider added: “It’s important that people realise that Brad’s motivation is to ensure that his kids can maximise the benefit of this asset.
“Once it was sold, that’s no longer the case and it significantly decreased their inheritance.”

She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I had a little health scare but I’m back to normal now, back to 100 per cent.”
Rita has not given any further details about her health issues. When she was forced to cancel her festival performance, she informed fans in a post on Instagram, writing: “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events but sadly I will not be able to perform at Campus Fesztival tonight.
“Having spent the night in hospital in Budapest, I must rest thoroughly and follow doctor’s orders. I am so sorry to my fans who are going to be there today and I’m truly thankful for your understanding.”
Rita has been playing shows in Europe over the summer and is planning to release a new album next year.
She’s also hinted there will be a much bigger tour to follow after she releases the new record, the follow-up to 2023’s ‘You and I’ which was heavily inspired by her relationship with husband Taika Waititi.
She told Billboard: “This album is something I’m actually really excited about. I’m spending the rest of the year making it. I’m feeling super, super inspired creatively, just having that essence of feeling a bit like not everything is perfect, which was kind of my motive with this.
“Everything’s just a bit left like that. Sonically, feeling a bit darker, a bit more spicy, a bit more aggressive, just getting in my like, uncomfortable era.”
