Reagan star Dennis Quaid reveals what he wants to see more of in US politics

OHMYGOSSIP — Dennis Quaid wants to see “more of a dialogue” in US politics.
The 70-year-old actor has take on the leading role of former US President Ronald Reagan – who was in the White House during the 1980s – and as the country gears up to elect either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris for the position later this year, explained that these days he would like to see politicians exhibiting principles that “go beyond” their party.
He told US TV show Extra: “We all lived through it, not everyone who will see this movie has. I think everybody wishes we were back with Ronald Regan now, even the Democrats. Half the Democrats voted for Reagan in the second election.
“For 40 years, he was a Democrat, longer than he was a Republican, actually. He had principles, he governed by principles, and lived his life by principles that go beyond political party. I’d like to see a little bit more of that today, and I’d also like to see a little bit more of a dialogue that parties had with one another back then, which is missing today. People actually talked to each other. I hope we get there.”
But the ‘Parent Trap’ star insisted that his new movie is not just about politics and that it also focuses on his relationship with his wife Nancy Reagan (Penelope Ann Miller) throughout his decade in charge.
He added: “It’s really important. It’s a really important movie to see; the movie is not political. It’s a biopic about their life. It’s about us. It’s also about us and where we were as a nation. It’s about the Cold War, which Reagan, along with Margaret Thatcher, won.”

John Cena will never be ‘ready’ to have children

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena doesn’t think he will ever be “personally ready” to be a dad.
The ‘Blockers’ actor – who is married to Shay Shariatzadeh – has a lot he wants to do with his own life and admitted he doesn’t see having children in his future as a result.
Speaking on the ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast, he said: “I have a certain curiosity about life, and I also know the investment that it takes.
“As somebody who’s driven, many times stubborn and selfish, I try to approach the world with kindness and curiosity … but I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time [needed] to be a great parent.
“I want to live life for all it is. I still have a lot to do.”
The 47-year-old star admitted he and Shay have had “open conversations” about raising a family but ultimately found themselves to be “on the same page”.
John began the “uncomfortable” discussions very early in their relationship.
He said: “I opened with a few uncomfortable conversations.
“Those were first or second date questions with my now-wife. It’s great because we both got to lean into these uncomfortable moments, address this stuff and build a foundation.”
And as a result of the intense chats so early in their romance, “nothing is off the table” between the couple.
John said: “Nothing is too uncomfortable to be unapproachable. Starting off with a conversation about … what is the definition of our family … helped us forge a path together as a team.”
The WWE star admitted in 2022 he didn’t feel “qualified” to be a parent and doesn’t have the “passion” for fatherhood.
Appearing on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, he said when the host declared he’d be the “world’s greatest father” because of his philanthropic efforts and his temperament: “I think just because you might be good at something, for me, is not a strong enough reason to do that.
“You have to have a passion for it. You have to have a fuel for it.”

Real Housewives of Orange County star Lauri Peterson’s son Josh Waring’s cause of death revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauri Peterson’s son Josh Waring died of an “accidental overdose”.
The 63-year-old reality star – who is best known for appearing on ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ – revealed the tragic news that her son Josh had died at the age of 35 in April following a long battle with addiction, and now officials have told TMZ that he died of the “combined effects” of various drugs.
According to the outlet, Josh had taken fentanyl, methamphetamine and olanzapine and the whole incident was determined to be an “accidental” death.
Josh died on Easter Sunder, and the Bravo star took to social media almost a week later to speak about how her “heart was shattered” by the tragedy.
She wrote on Instagram: “It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday. No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts. Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.
“Josh’s childhood was filled with deep intellect, humor, pranks, athletics, snow boarding, body boarding mountain hikes, reading, friends and his love for music. Even during adult hardship, Josh continued to maintain his sense of humor, continued to be optimistic, continued to be kind to others, defended those that were unable to defend themselves and continued to love his family so so much!”
Lauri thanked those who had helped her son – who earlier this year was arrested for allegedly punching a security guard at a hospital and prior to that had been sentenced to two years in prison over drugs charges – over the years and noted that his greatest achievement in life had been his daughter, who had given him “purpose” in his final years.
Lauri – who also has daughters Ashley and Sophie with her ex-husband Phillip Waring – added: “He received the most joy, pride and purpose through his daughter Kennady and watching her grow and thrive over the years. Thank you to all of the people that have tried to help Josh along the way.

Tom Hanks issues ‘public service announcement’ over AI ‘fraudulent’ adverts

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hanks has hit out at “fraudulent” advertisements using an AI-created version of his likeness.
The ‘Elvis’ actor has issued a “public service announcement” to fans urging them not to be “swindled” into losing their cash by splurging on “miracle cures and wonder drugs” they believe he has endorsed as a result of the promotional images.
He wrote in a statement shared to Instagram titled “Public service announcement from Tom Hanks”: “There are multiple ads over the internet falsely using my name, likeness, and voice promoting miracle cures and wonder drugs.
“These ads have been created without my consent, fraudulently and through AI. I have nothing to do with these posts or the products and treatments, or the spokespeople touting these cures.
“I have type 2 diabetes, and I ONLY work with my board certified doctor regarding my treatment. DO NOT BE FOOLED. DO NOT BE SWINDLED. DO NOT LOSE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”
The 68-year-old actor shared a similar warning about an advert for a dental plan last October.
He wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot from the ad: “BEWARE!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me. I have nothing to do with it.”
The Oscar-winning star previously expressed his concerns about the rise in AI and how there could be a series of movies fronted by him even after his death.
Speaking on the ‘Adam Buxton Podcast’, he said: “I can tell you that there is discussions going on in all of the guilds, all of the agencies, and all of the legal firms in order to come up with the legal ramifications of my face and my voice and everybody else’s being our intellectual property.
“What is a bona fide possibility right now is, if I wanted to, I could get together and pitch a series of seven movies that would star me in them in which I would be 32 years old from now until kingdom come.
“Anybody can now recreate themselves at any age they are by way of AI or deep fake technology. I could be hit by a bus tomorrow and that’s it, but performances can go on and on and on and on.
“Outside the understanding of AI and deep fake, there’ll be nothing to tell you that it’s not me and me alone.
“And it’s going to have some degree of lifelike quality. That’s certainly an artistic challenge but it’s also a legal one.”
The ‘Castaway’ star acknowledged an AI-generated version of himself could end up appearing in projects he wouldn’t usually have chosen, but he’s not convinced audiences will care that they aren’t watching the real him.
He said: “Without a doubt people will be able to tell [that it’s AI], but the question is will they care? There are some people that won’t care, that won’t make that delineation.”

Madison Beer explains why she won’t take hotel photos with fans

OHMYGOSSIP — Madison Beer won’t pose for photos with fans in hotels because she doesn’t want to be put “in danger”.
The 25-year-old singer – who is currently on tour in Asia and Australia – has clarified why she rejects requests for selfies while in her “temporary home”, explaining she values her “private time” and worries about her location being revealed to other people.
The ‘Make You Mine’ hitmaker wrote on her Instagram Story: “helllloooo just comin on here bc i’ve seen some people confused as to why i say no to photos etc at my hotels im staying at.
“while on tour hotels are essentially my temporary home and i’m entitled to some private time same as anybody else…[white heart emoji].
“i will also usually say no to pics etc in my hotel bc it also then reveals the location to a lot of other people and unfortunately can put me in danger.
“hope you understand n can respect that ! love u.(sic)”
Madison – who first found fame and success through YouTube, where she used to post covers of well-known songs – recently declared she felt she has been “misjudged” by the public.
She told The Independent newspaper: “People have been extremely wrong about my character and who I am as a person.
“I think that I’ve been very much misjudged on that and it’s just a s***** feeling. It sucks being like, wow, the girl you’re talking about doesn’t exist. I wanted people to put this book down and be like, ‘wait, there’s so many people who I’ve judged wrong.’”
The brunette beauty has received plenty of criticism during her career, but Madison doesn’t allow it to bother her.
She said: “I feel like a lot of my fans have grown up with me and they’ve seen me grow so much.
“There’s X amount of people that will just view me as not a real artist – whatever that means. I don’t let it bother me because I know there are a lot of people who take me seriously and a lot of people who love my music, show up to tour and want to listen.”

Suki Waterhouse had emergency dash to retrieve Eras costume

OHMYGOSSIP — Suki Waterhouse had to pay someone £500 to “break in” and get her ‘Eras’ tour dress from fashion house Chloe.
The 32-year-old star recently supported her friend Taylor Swift at one of her concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium earlier this month but disaster almost struck when her team forgot to collect the designer gown before the show and the building was locked up.
Suki recalled to The Times newspaper: “So one of my managers gave a porter £500 to break in and grab the dress. I think there were literally 140 [phone] calls.”
The dress eventually arrived at the venue at 3.30pm, less than two hours before Suki was due on stage but the ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ star hadn’t been told what happened beforehand.
She explained: “Because I was already stressing”.
Suki had personally called the brand’s creative director, Chemena Kamali, to make the dress.
She admitted: “I’ve never asked anyone to make me a dress before. I always get really scared they’ll say no. But I called her, and she was like: ‘Yes, I’d love to.’…
“I always want massive sleeves. I want to be able to throw my arms up in the air.”
The idea of supporting the ‘Karma’ hitmaker was first suggested by the 34-year-old pop star to her friend over a year ago, but it wasn’t until Suki performed at Coachella in April that the booking was confirmed.
She recalled: “Taylor did mention [the idea of] that at dinner a year ago. I didn’t know if it was real. But that’s the thing about her: I should have known, she always plans. When she says something, she’s gonna do it…
“My dad kept saying: ‘Guess it’s not happening then … shame about that.’ I was like: ‘No, Dad, I promise, you are coming to Wembley!’”
Suki – who has a five-month-old daughter with partner Robert Pattinson – first met Taylor “during a really fun summer in New York almost 10 years ago”.
She added: “I was there shooting a movie. It was one of the great summers.
“A bunch of people were in town, all these girls were hanging out. I remember being on her rooftop and having a really great time. And I have some memory of me, like, talking to — oh, I probably shouldn’t say!”

Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges remembers co-star Gary Coleman: ‘He was around the wrong people’

OHMYGOSSIP — Todd Bridges thinks Gary Coleman was “around the wrong people” following his child stardom.
The 59-year-old actor played Willis Jackson on the sitcom ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ alongside Gary Coleman – who died at the age of 42 in 2010 after years of personal and financial struggles – as his on-screen brother and claimed that the sort of exploration his former castmates suffered is often what happens to those who make it so big in their early years.
He told Fox News Digital: “That’s what happens when people get greedy. They tend to just take money … and steal things. We all lost some money to some people. The only thing that’s different in my life is that I made it through. I’m still here. I’m working and doing other stuff. … As far as Dana Plato [who died at the age of 34 in 1999 after substance abuse struggles] and Gary go, unfortunately, they’re both not here. … For Gary’s situation, I just think he was around the wrong people.”
Gary – who famously sued his parents for mismanagement of his income while working as a child actor – is thought to have earned $18 million throughout his career, but when he died he had a reported net worth of just $75,000.
Todd is keen to keep the legacy of his former co-star – whose character is still remembered for his catchphrase ”Whatcha talkin’ bout Willis?’ – going so that those around the world know who the child actor really was behind all of his struggles.
He said: “It’s very important to speak out about Gary Coleman. People need to know who he really was. He was a good kid. People need to know that.”

Dolly Parton giving away more than three million books to kids each month

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton is giving away more than three million books to children every month.
The 78-year-old country legend launched her ‘Imagination Library’ gifting programme back in 1995 and each month, the scheme sends a high quality, age appropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family.
Almost 30 years since its launch, over three million books are sent out each month, and have been sent to more than 240 million children in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Australia.
At an event in Kentucky, Dolly explained the idea was inspired by her father not going to school and not being able to read and a desire to help improve literacy in children across the US.
She said at the event: “My dad was a country boy who grew up in the rural areas of east Tennessee and didn’t get a chance to go to school. So my daddy couldn’t read and write and he was always real embarrassed about that and that always troubled me because he thought he couldn’t learn to read after he was grown but daddy was one of the smartest people that you would ever wanna know and he was my hero.
“I always feel like daddy is just right here with me. My family has always been my greatest inspiration.
“I can honestly say that the Imagination Library has meant as much, if not more to me than nearly anything that I’ve ever done.”
The ‘9 to 5’ hitmaker also admitted her father was prouder of her for the book programme than her music career.
She added: “The kids started calling me the ‘book lady.’ And daddy was more proud of that than he was that I was a star. But daddy got to feeling like he had really done something great as well.”

Lupita Nyong’o shares heartbreaking quote on grief as she remembers late co-star Chadwick Boseman

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o paid a heartbreaking tribute to her late ‘Black Panther’ co-star Chadwick Boseman on the fourth anniversary of his death.
The Marvel star tragically lost his battle with colon cancer aged 43 on August 28, 2020, after battling the disease in private.
And Lupita has shared a moving quote about grief being “the price of love”.
On Instagram, the 41-year-old star shared a picture of the late star and the quote: “Grief never ends. But it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It’s the price of love.”
She added: “Remembering Chadwick Boseman. Forever.”
Lupita recently opened up about her cancer storyline in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ being “very therapeutic” following the loss of friend.
The ’12 Years a Slave’ actress stars as a terminally ill patient in the monster apocalypse horror prequel who is in a hospice when the film starts, and said the role helped her deal with the shock of losing Chadwick.
She told People: “It was scary to have to go there… (the character) is really facing their mortality, even before this apocalypse takes place, and whose life is slipping between her fingers.
“That was daunting to have to go there, psychologically and emotionally.
“In the end, it was actually very therapeutic because I had just experienced not too many years ago the death of Chadwick Boseman, which shook me to my core.
“I definitely was thinking about that a lot.
“What I came to realise is that it’s really important to be reminded of our mortality, because then we live life just a little more intentionally. “When we think we have all the time in the world, we can really take people for granted and experiences for granted.”
Chadwick died before filming started on the comic book sequel ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, though Lupita reprised her ‘Black Panther’ role of Nakia in the movie.
The actor – who played the titular role – had kept his diagnosis secret during the filming and publicity for 2018’s ‘Black Panther’.
Lupita has repeatedly paid tribute publicly to Chadwick since his death.
Last year, she shared a photo of the two on social media alongside the caption: “Death is hard to understand, maybe even harder to accept. But the love generated from the life he lived will fuel every anniversary marking his absence.
“Chadwick may no longer be in our photos, but he will always be in our hearts.”

Channing Tatum accuses Jenna Dewan of trying to delay trial

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum has accused Jenna Dewan of trying to “delay the upcoming trial” over ‘Magic Mike’ profits.
The former couple split in 2018, but they have still not finalised the terms of their divorce, with the pair in dispute over the 2012 film, which the 43-year-old actress has argued her ex-husband co-financed with marital funds and developed during their relationship while he insisted he has never tried to deny the brunette beauty “her share of the community assets or income”.
And in the latest round of their dispute, earlier this month Jenna requested the 44-year-old actor’s legal team be dismissed, which they argued back was a “delay tactic”.
In court papers filed on Wednesday (28.08.24) and obtained by People magazine, Jenna’s team accused Channing of using “every trick in the book to stall this case from getting to a trial” and “depriving Jenna of a fair and equal share of the community estate, and he is prejudicing her every day that this case continues.”
In a response obtained the same day, the ‘Blink Twice’ star’s team insisted the filing was “solely designed to delay the upcoming trial.”
The lawyers stated that, since the divorce filing, Channing has “made exhaustive efforts to settle all issues in this matter without litigation.
They added: “He has made countless settlement proposals, attended multiple mediations, his attorneys have prepared numerous drafts of a proposed judgment, and he has tried to resolve issues directly.”
Jenna had insisted Channing’s legal team at Glaser Weil and Blank Rome should be disqualified from the upcoming trial due to a conflict of interest over their involvement in selling off parts of his business entities.
But they branded the request a “frivolous filing that has no basis in law or fact”, as well as a “transparent attempt to divert the Court’s attention from her wilful violation of her Court ordered deposition and discovery deadlines.”
The ’22 Jump Street’ star’s lawyers also asked for Jenna to be sanctioned $20,000.
Channing wrote in his own declaration the move was “just another delay tactic to prolong our divorce case.”
Jenna – who has 11-year-old Everly with Channing, son Callum, four, and two-month-old Rhiannon with fiancé Steve Kazee – argued her former spouse’s team should have “disclosed Glaser Weil’s extensive and ongoing involvement with martial transactions related to the community’s Magic Mike intellectual property.”
They also branded it a “shocking” move for the ‘Logan Lucky’ actor to have “associated in new divorce counsel a mere five months before trial,” and alleged that during their marriage, “that very same counsel created an extensive web of LLCs, each of which is at least partially owed by Channing, for the sole purpose of transacting business related to the community’s ‘Magic Mike’ intellectual property.”

Allison Holker finds love again

OHMYGOSSIP — Allison Holker has seemingly found love again, over a year after her husband Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ death.
The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ star was left devastated when the DJ took his own life in December 2022 but she has now suggested she’s found happiness with a mystery man in a new social media post.
On Wednesday (28.08.24), Allison took to Instagram to share a photo of two shadows, which were seemingly of her holding hands with a guy.
She simply captioned her post with a red heart emoji.
In June, the 36-year-old beauty – who has Weslie, 16, Maddox, eight, and four-year-old Zaia with her late husband – admitted she’d like to find love again one day.
She told People magazine: “I think I am a person that I always say the quote, ‘Romanticise your life.’ And I think, though I’ve gone through so much, I’m still a believer in living a big life. There’s not been one moment that I haven’t thought to myself, ‘I still want to live a big life.’
“I still would want to have love, would still want to travel the world. I still want to see and experience new things with new people, new energy, my friends, my family, a loved one — a potential — and my kids.
“I want them to see that they can still learn to trust and love again. It doesn’t have to go away.”
Of dating again, she added: “I would embrace it.”
The former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ professional recently told of how she’d found a new “purpose” to her life since her husband’s death.
She told E! News: “I’ve always thought my purpose was to share love and joy with the world through dance, but now I must use my words. It’s a new purpose for me, and we must share this message that we have to speak kindly to yourselves first and foremost.
“Because you talk to yourself more than anybody else does, it needs to be kind words and you need to be your biggest advocate.
“This is now my purpose in a new way, a new resurgence of who I am and what I need to be for the world and my kids.”

John Stamos got rejected by the Church of Scientology before acting career took off

OHMYGOSSIP — John Stamos got rejected by the Church of Scientology two years before making his acting debut in ‘General Hospital.’
The ‘Full House’ star attended an introductory session for the controversial faith when he was 17, but his membership didn’t last past the first session.
Speaking on the ‘Friends In High Places’ podcast, he explained that he wanted to join the Church of Scientology after being invited to go by a “hot girl” in acting class and wanting to follow in the footsteps of his acting idol, ‘Grease’ star John Travolta, who has been a member since 1975.
He said: “I was in an acting class and there was a hot girl, [who] said to me, ‘You know we’re all meeting at this [place] on Hollywood Boulevard, you should come after [class].’
“I was working at my dad’s restaurant at the time and I said, ‘Dad, I gotta go.’ So, I went and it was the Scientology building.
“Seeing [‘Grease’] I was like, ‘I wanna be that.’ I wanted to be John Travolta, I still do. Well, minus the whatever it is that they do.”
However, in the first session, John was introduced to a device known as the ‘E-meter’, which is made out of two cans and is used to indicate changes in emotional states and to identify levels of spiritual distress, but after being given it, he started playing with it and used it to pretend he was having a conversation on the phone.
He quipped: “I was doing a Peabody and Sherman impression and they didn’t like that. Then, I was just f***ing around so much, they said, ‘Get out [and] get going.’ They just kicked me out.”
John previously revealed that he “wouldn’t be here” without the help of his celebrity therapist.
The 60-year-old actor has gone through traumas including a battle with drinking, and was left devastated when his friend Bob Saget – with whom he starred in the classic ‘Full House’ sitcom – died aged 65 in January 2022 after accidentally hitting his head.
He told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column about how he has been seeing Hollywood’s go-to therapist Phil Stutz: “I probably wouldn’t be here (without him.)”

Queen Camilla lands new role at Rifleman charity

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Camilla has landed a new role as Patron of The Rifleman’s Association.
King Charles’ wife is the first-ever to land the role at the charity for members of the British Army who have served as Rifleman past and present.
A statement on the Royal Family’s official X page read: “The Queen, has become the first Patron of The Rifleman’s Association.
“The organisation offers a forum for serving and veteran Riflemen of all ranks, along with their families, to stay connected with the regiment, providing friendship, support, and assistance.”
The 77-year-old royal took over as Colonel-in-Chief of The Rifles from the late Prince Philip in 2020.
Camilla is the patron or president of more than 100 charities and organisations.
In May 2024, after a major review of royal patronages and charity presidencies, Camilla took on 15 new patronages, including Army Benevolent Fund, Royal Academy of Dance, Royal Voluntary Service, Royal Literary Fund, Royal Foundation of St Katharine, and Queen’s Nursing Institute.
Meanwhile, the queen’s work with “brave” domestic violence survivors is to be explored in her first documentary since her coronation.
Camilla has teamed up with ITV to make ‘Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors’ – which is currently a working title – and the film will feature interviews with victims of domestic abuse and relatives who have lost loved-ones, as well as those working to end the violence.
The 90-minute film will follow Camilla over the course of a year as she attends official engagements and never-before-seen private meetings with survivors and change-makers who are attempting to achieve progress in this field.
It will also feature the queen hosting round-tables with teenagers, celebrating International Women’s Day at Buckingham Palace and meeting survivors who, if they hadn’t made it to a refuge, could have lost their lives.
Camilla, who has been involved in spreading awareness of domestic and sexual violence for more than a decade, said: “I have learned from my conversations with these brave survivors that what they want above all is to be listened to and believed, to prevent the same thing happening to others.
“Let’s not lose this precious opportunity to speak up and galvanise action that will see the end of these heinous crimes forever. With determination and courage we will succeed.”
‘Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors’, which will air later this year, will also explore why perpetrators abuse, and asks how we can stop the cycle of abuse.
Sue Murphy, ITV’s Director of Factual Entertainment, said: “ITV is proud to be making this documentary with Her Majesty the Queen about this hugely important subject.
“We hope the film will raise awareness and inspire change in our society.”

Armie Hammer’s Elizabeth Chambers is moving for the fifth time in five years

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Chambers and her brood are moving for the fifth time in five years.
On the same day her ex-husband Armie Hammer – with whom she has daughter Harper, nine, and son Ford, seven – announced he was selling his truck because he can’t”afford the gas” anymore, the Bird Bakery owner revealed her boyfriend Ricardas Kazinec was helping her pack up their belongings at her Cayman Islands home as they embark on the next chapter as a family.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: “Packing and moving my kids and me for the fifth time in almost five years.
“Beyond grateful for my Lai, my extraordinary boyfriend, and for these extraordinary people.”
She didn’t disclose where they were moving to.
Elizabeth and Armie split in 2020, before his Hollywood career imploded after he was hit by a string of allegations in 2021, including emotional abuse, manipulation, and rape – and the infamous accusation he harboured fantasies of cannibalism.
He denied all the allegations made against and there was insufficient evidence for him to be charged.
On Tuesday (27.08.24), the 38-year-old revealed he bought himself the GMC pickup as a Christmas present but he has been forced to swap it for a “tiny” hybrid because filling up was starting to cost too much money.
In a video posted on Instagram, he showed off his beloved vehicle and said: “So, I’ve been back in L.A. for a couple of weeks now, this is my truck.
“I bought this for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift for myself.
“I have loved this truck intensely and taken it camping and across the country multiple times and on long road trips, and I took it for one last road trip to CarMax [used car store].
“[This is] not an ad for CarMax. This is because I’m selling my truck. Since being back in L.A., I have put about 4 or 500 dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore.”
The ‘Death On The Nile’ star has fond memories of the truck but is looking forward to a fresh start.
He added: “I mean, this truck, it took the kids home from the hospital and all that stuff. Amazing trips, but you know what, that’s okay.
“I’ve got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably going to put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month and this is it. Here’s to new beginnings. It’s my birthday tomorrow.”
As well as a new car, Armie said he was “starting a new life in Los Angeles” at a new apartment.

Jason Kelce shares secret to popularity of his and Travis Kelce’s podcast

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Kelce thinks his “loving” bond with brother Travis Kelce is behind the success of their podcast.
The retired NFL star and his Kansas City Chiefs tight end sibling – who is dating Taylor Swift – host the sporting show ‘New Heights’ together and the ‘Monday Night Countdown’ commentator thinks listeners tune in because of their “open” nature and “exciting” lives.
Shortly after signing a nine-figure deal with Wondery for the podcast, Jason said during ESPN’s media day on Wednesday (28.08.24): “I think on the podcast, you get, first of all, an organic, loving relationship between two brothers. We’re honest with each other. And it comes across.
“And we have good personalities that I think generally audience members appreciate, and like to want to watch and listen to, which I don’t know if I agree fully with that, but they’re there.
“I think that we’re very, very open people by nature, and I think that we share things, and we obviously are living exciting lives that people want to follow. And then all that stuff helps … because the more people watch, the more money advertisers spend.”
The podcast launched back in 2022 and returned for its third season on Wednesday (28.08.24).
Earlier in the week when the move to the Amazon-owned podcast studio was announced, the CEO of Wondery Jen Sargent shared that the platform had wanted to join forces with the duo since its launch two years ago.
Jen told The Hollywood Reporter: “We’ve been watching the growth of the podcast, really since it was launched, and I have been building a relationship with Travis and Jason and getting to know them for a while now.
“Sports is a really exciting category for podcast listeners. It’s a strategic priority of Wondery’s and Amazon’s. So there were a lot of reasons to think about joining forces here on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.”
