OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Corgan is embracing his “port wine” birthmark after trying to hide it his “whole life”.
The Smashing Pumpkins frontman, 57, revealed the birthmark – which covers parts of his hand, wrist and arm – in a powerful social media post as he urged his fans to “find peace with who you are”.
He wrote on Instagram: “I’m a fan of body positivity movements because at the end of the day it is about celebrating what makes us ‘us.’ ”
He also shared a photo of “beautiful” model Carlotta Bertotti as an example of someone “with a birthmark who has embraced her ‘difference’ with grace”.
He continued: “My point being that my whole life I’ve endeavoured to hide my ‘port wine’ birthmarks because as you can imagine I was teased unmercifully about them as a child.
“So much so that people who have known me for a decade are shocked when they finally ‘see it’.
“And even now strangers will stop me on the street not because they recognize me but because they think something is wrong with me that requires medical attention.
“Plus the random questions: Is that a burn? Are you sick? Is it contagious? Does it hurt?
“So positive message for the day: Whoever you are, I hope you find peace with who you are because I would like to know that person and no one else.”
According to the NHS, a port wine stain is a “vascular birthmark caused by abnormal development of blood vessels in the skin”, sometimes referred to as a “capillary malformation”‘.
Corgan’s emotional post comes just days after he and his wife Chloe Mendal Corgan, 31, confirmed they are expecting their third baby together.
Chloe – who has kids Philomena Clementine, five, and Augustus, eight, with the ‘Tonight Tonight’ rocker – told People: “We are overjoyed to announce that our family is growing! It’s an exciting time for us, although unexpected!”
Her husband added: “While Augustus was overjoyed, Clementine, the younger of the two, asked if the baby was made already and shed a few tears of concern, which was honestly adorable.
“Now, both kids are beaming, and it makes it so much fun to share the joy of bringing more love into our family. We are truly blessed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Garcia has attended her first public event since Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on a domestic violence charge.
The 40-year-old retired WWE star – best known to fans as Nikki Bella – stepped out alongside Rob Riggle to co-host Netflix’s ‘Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef’ live event on Monday (02.09.24) evening.
Speaking during the event in Las Vegas, Nevada, she told the crowd: “Thank you everyone, I’m so happy to be here.”
And responding to a fan, she added: “I love you, too”
She sported a red pantsuit and matching vest top for the occasion, and didn’t appear to be wearing her wedding ring.
Her appearance comes just days after ‘Dancing With The Stars’ professional Artem – with whom she has four-year-old son Matteo – was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of domestic violence.
Audio of a 911 call obtained by TMZ featured a dispatcher saying the 42-year-old dancer had alleged his spouse had thrown her shoes at him.
The clip featured the dispatcher saying Artem’s call “initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party].
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route.
“There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
But the dancer then stated he no longer needed medical assistance, with the dispatcher confirming: “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
Artem was booked on a charge of corporal injury to a spouse and released later in the day on $25,000 bond.
On Friday (30.08.24), Nikki appealed for privacy.
Her representative said in a statement: “This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
The alleged incident came just days after the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
The ‘Total Bellas’ star shared a video of clips from their five-year relationship, alongside the lyrics to Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ in the caption.
She also wrote: “This song is our love story. I’ll never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem. Having a conversation with He + God.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Starkey has praised Daniel Craig for putting him at ease filming their sex scenes in ‘Queer’.
The ‘Love, Simon’ actor, 30, and the former Bond star, 56, play a gay couple in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming historical romance drama and Drew has admitted he would have “imploded” if Daniel hadn’t “kept it moving”, noting how “goofy and “beautiful” he is as a person.
He told Variety: “I think everyone’s starstruck when Daniel walks into the room. But then of course, within five minutes that sheds away and you’re like, ‘Oh, right.
“He’s an incredibly kind, goofy, beautiful person and very giving actor and a good friend. He’s all of it.”
On filming the racy scenes, he continued: “But yeah, I mean it was about the work and we just got into it really quickly. He never took anything too seriously. Of course, I was approaching it like, ‘Oh my god, this is crazy.’ But Daniel always kept it light, and I would have imploded on that set if Daniel wasn’t there just to keep it moving. He’s the best.”
Drew insists the chemistry between them didn’t feel “forced” and that “movement rehearsals and choreography” helped them.
He explained: “Well, we certainly had to work at it. I think what’s good is there’s kind of a natural progression in the process of filming it anyways, in the story.
“It’s these two people trying to figure each other out, and we were doing that on set. We had a handful of table reads and Luca was the guiding factor in the way these two operated. He always said, ‘There has to be love there,’ so we always had that in mind.
“But Daniel and I jumped into movement rehearsals and choreography with each other — that’s a great way to get to know someone.
“But it felt cohesive and natural. Nothing felt forced. We just jumped in like, ‘Alright, we’re game.’”
They spent months ensuring they were “as comfortable as possible” and ended up having a lot of “fun” together.
Drew said: “You treat it like you would any other thing. Obviously, you’re more precious with it and you communicate more on the day about people’s comfort levels. But Daniel and I were just game for anything. We just were like, ‘Let’s go for it, let’s have fun.’ So he was a great partner to have in that. I think him and I share that same mentality of just not giving a s***.
“And Luca was so specific — he wanted us to be as comfortable as possible throughout that process, and we would block off where these intimate scenes would happen and we talked months in advance about what we thought it should be.
“It was also like a dance. We were trying to figure it out. But those were some of the most fun days I think we all had on set — just Daniel and I laughing.”

The ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress, 44, and her fiancée Ramona Agruma planned to walk down the aisle in 2025, but now it’s been claimed they’ve pushed their nuptials forward and will have an intimate ceremony in the Mediterranean.
A source told DailyMail.com: “Rebel doesn’t want to wait any longer, she is happy to marry this month because she is very much in love with Ramona and wants to be wed.
“It will be a small ceremony with close friends and family, and also very elegant. Also she has had so much bad press lately that she would love to welcome some nice press for a change.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ian McKellen is struggling to remember his best friend’s name.
‘The Lord of the Rings’ actor, 85, is still recovering from a fall in June at the Noel Coward Theatre in London that saw him lose his footing while performing in ‘Player Kings’, leaving him with a broken wrist and chipped vertebrae.
He has now told the BBC about his memory also failing him: “It’s a nuisance not remembering your best friend’s name or your own phone number.”
But he added he has no plans to retire “as long as the legs and the lungs and the mind keep working”.
He went on: “What would I be doing if not working? I’ll take the rest of the year off and be back in January.”
Sir Ian added he is also eager to reprise his role as Gandalf in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum’ – set for release in 2026 – and which he last played a decade ago.
He said: “I’m not letting anybody else put on the pointy hat if I can help it.”
Sir Ian also told how he was “doing fine” after his “nasty” fall, which happened after his foot caught in the remains of a chair.
He said: “It wasn’t that I’d got dizzy or anything like that – it was a pure accident.
“So I count myself lucky that it’s beginning to be a distant memory, but it did mean that I couldn’t do the tour (of ‘Players Kings’), so if it’s a chance for me to apologise to the audiences in Bristol, Birmingham, Norwich, I’m sorry I wasn’t there, but I’ll be back.”
He added even though he is “physically recovered” there is emotional “residue” he has to confront from the stage incident.
Sir Ian said: “I said to myself as I slid off the stage and tripped and slipped on a polished surface, ‘This is the end’ – these were the words in my mind.
“And apparently I shouted out, ‘My leg is broken, I’m dying’. I don’t remember saying that.
“So there was a lot going on in my head as the body responded to the fall.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mia Farrow “completely understands” actors who choose to work with her director ex Woody Allen.
The actress, 79, opened up about the ‘Manhattan’ filmmaker, 88, during an appearance on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’, with whom she was in a relationship from 1980 to 1992.
Mia – who appeared in 13 of Woody’s films while they were together – was left stunned by his decision to start dating her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, now 53, after their relationship ended, before he married her.
Woody was also accused of sexual abuse by another one of the actress’ daughters Dylan Farrow, who alleged the director molested her when she was aged seven, though the filmmaker was never charged.
When CBS journalist Seth Doane asked Mia: “Are you able to separate the experience as an actor in those films from the personal trials and tribulations that would follow?”, the star replied: “Oh yeah, yeah.”
She added: “I completely understand if an actor decides to work with him.
“I’m not one who’d say, ‘Oh, they shouldn’t’.”
After 39-year-old Dylan’s sexual assault allegations against Woody emerged, a string of actors have declared they would not work with the Oscar-winner.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carmen Electra was told she needed to lose weight on the set of ‘Baywatch’.
The 52-year-old actress got her big break when she was cast as Lani McKenzie in the hit action series in the late 1990s and would often be seen wearing a bikini but revealed that bosses would tell her she was “too heavy”, although she doesn’t think that she ever really needed to diet.
She told US TV show Extra: “I never had a weigh-in, but I was told sometimes I was too heavy! And I look back now and I don’t think I was. They would come up to you and say, ‘You need to lose some pounds’ or ‘You need to lose some weight”.
The ‘I Want Candy’ star did not go into any more detail about how her body was perceived during her time on the series – which ran from 1989 until 2001 – but did reveal that she has kept her famous red swimsuit.
She said: “Of course! I have it framed!”.
But she did feel “very green” about having to have one of her first on-screen kisses with David Chokachi because she possibly approached it ina bit of a “tongue heavy” manner and was shocked when she watched the scene back.
Asked if she remembers any of her co-stars dating in real life, she said: “Not that I know of, but I’m not gonna lie, though, one of my first kisses with David Chokachi — and I was very green — we had a kissing scene and I just went in… tongue heavy! think he liked it! OHMYGOSSIP — James Darren has died at the age of 88.
The actor became a teen idol in Hollywood during the 1950s and 1960s with roles in films such as ‘Gidget’ alongside Sandra Dee – for which he also performed the theme song – and then released the track ‘Goodbye Cruel World’ but passed away on Monday (02.09.24), his close friend Nancy Sinatra confirmed as she sent her love to his children.
She wrote on X: “One of my dearest, closest friends in all the world, of all my life has passed away. Godfather to my daughter, AJ. Wishing him a fast and beautiful journey through the Universe and beyond. Godspeed, sweet Jimmy.”
He is survived by his wife Evy Norlund – whom he tied the knot with in 1960 – and their children Christian, Anthony and Jimmy Jr.
No cause of death has been confirmed yet, but TMZ has claimed that he was due to undergo aortic valve replacement, although he was “deemed too weak to undergo the procedure and was sent home” before the operation could take place.
His death was also confirmed by a statement posted to his official website.
It read: “We are sad to report that Jimmy Darren died in his sleep at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles today.
Nancy Sinatra posted on her X account reporting of his death September 2, 2024.
“His son Jim Moret, a correspondent for Inside Edition, told The Hollywood Reporter. He had entered the hospital for an aortic valve replacement but was deemed too weak to have the surgery; he went home but had to return. Our thoughts and prayers are with Evy and the kids in this time of grief..”
In the 1980s, he appeared as Officer James Corrigan in the police drama ‘T. J. Hooker’ and towards the end of the 1990s, he played Vic Fontaine in ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’.
His final on-screen appearance came in the form of the 2017 drama film ‘Paulie’ and he released his 14th album ‘Live! For the First Time!’ in 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Simmons’ death has officially been ruled an accident.
The fitness guru was found dead at his house in LA last month after emergency workers responded to a 911 call from his housekeeper, and a new report issued by Los Angeles’ Medical Examiner has explained how he passed away after a fall.
The report, which was obtained by People magazine, listed Richard’s cause of death as “sequelae of blunt traumatic injuries” that were caused by a “ground level fall,” with “arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease” also cited as a “contributing condition.”
The documents stated: “Per reports, he experienced an episode of dizziness and collapsed on the floor on the evening of July 11, 2024.
“He was found the next morning on July 12 and spent the day in bed. On the morning of July 13, he was found unresponsive on the bedroom floor. His death was pronounced at the scene.”
Richard’s body was also found to have a fractured left femur, as well as “incidental bilateral renal cortical cysts and a gallstone.”
Toxicology studies detected the presence of antihistamine diphenhydramine, antidepressant trazodone, and zolpidem – which is used to treat insomnia – but they did “not appear to have contributed to the cause of death.”
The report ruled that “for the purpose of public health and vital statistics, given the history and circumstances as currently known by me in the setting of the findings by examination and ancillary studies, the manner of death is classified as accident.”
The published report echoes a statement issued by Richard’s family spokesperson earlier this month.
Tom Estey, said: “This morning, Richard Simmons’ brother Lenny, received a call from the LA Coroner’s office. The Coroner informed Lenny that Richard’s death was accidental due to complications from recent falls and heart disease as a contributing factor.
“The toxicology report was negative other than medication Richard had been prescribed. The family wishes to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this time of great loss.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Artem Chigvintsev has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional – who has four-year-old son Matteo with wife Nikki Garcia – was arrested by was arrested by Napa County Sheriff’s Office at around 10am on Thursday (29.08.24) in the small town of Yountville and booked into Napa County Jail before being released later that day after being given $25,000 bail.
The 42-year-old dancer was booked on a felony domestic violence charge, penal code 273.5(a), which makes it “illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence”, and states an apparent injury must be visible.
Officials have not disclosed any further information about Artem’s arrest or the alleged victim.
Henry Wofford, Napa County Sherrif’s Office’s public information officer, told Variety: “We will always protect our victims. We understand why people want to know the name. But we’re treating it just like every other domestic violence case.”
On Wednesday (28.08.24), Nikki had posted on her Instagram Story, revealing she was in Napa.
And earlier this week, she and Artem celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

The 60-year-old former model – who is the mother of models Gigi, 29, Bella, 27, and Anwar Hadid, 25 – confirmed the news that the construction CEO, who she has been with for almost six years, got down on one knee in Holland in 2022 to PEOPLE.
He was also referred to as her fiancé in Architectural Digest in a profile of the pair’s lavish Texas abode.
It noted how on their first date, cowboy Jingoli “whisked [Yolanda] away” to Fort Worth, Texas for a horse show.
She recalled: “That trip was really my first introduction to Texas.

The 54-year-old actress released a lengthy statement on Thursday (29.08.24) confirming she and her other half – who have 20-year-old daughter Sofia together – are to end their marriage of 21 years, as they have both “changed” as people, but they remain close and will continue to be in each other’s lives and plan to make many more “cherished moments” together.
She began the social media post: “Well, here we are. After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce.

The 38-year-old star – who already has Shai, seven, and 13-month-old Rio with her husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy – made her name as a professional on the ABC dance competition but will not be back of this year’s edition after she welcomed son Milan in July.

OHMYGOSSIP — Terrorists plotted to kill “tens of thousands” of people at Taylor Swift’s concert in Vienna.
The 34-year-old pop star was forced to cancel three dates on her ‘Eras’ tour in the Austrian capital earlier this month due to a planned attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium before officials arrested three teenagers, and a CIA official has now revealed the US intelligence agency played a major part in thwarting the “quite advanced” plot.
CIA Deputy Director David Cohen is quoted by ABC News as saying: “They were plotting to kill a huge number — tens of thousands of people at this concert, including I am sure many Americans — and were quite advanced in this.
“The Austrians were able to make those arrests because the agency and our partners in the intelligence community provided them information about what this ISIS-connected group was planning to do.
“I can tell you within my agency, and I’m sure in others, there were people who thought that was a really good day for Langley. And not just the Swifties in my workforce.”
Taylor recently admitted she feels a “tremendous amount of guilt” over the planned attack.
In a lengthy statement shared on Instagram following her final European dates of the ‘Eras’ tour in London, she wrote in part: “Walking onstage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions.
“Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows. But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives. I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together.”
The ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress therefore decided to put “all of [her] energy” into keeping all those who came to subsequent concerts as safe as possible and her efforts all resulted in receiving the “most giant bear hug” from all of her audiences at Wembley Stadium.
She said: “I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London. My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us.
“Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.
“In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to.
“My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Slash’s stepdaughter took her own life.
The Guns N’ Roses guitarist was left devastated when Lucy-Bleu Knight – the daughter of his long-term partner Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight – passed away aged 25 on 19 July, and the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office has officially ruled her passing to be due to hydrogen sulfide toxicity, and stated the “manner of death is suicide”.
The coroner’s office told the New York Post newspaper: “Ms. Knight was found unresponsive in a private residence on July 19 by law enforcement conducting a welfare check. Death was pronounced at 1500 hours.
“An examination was performed by a deputy medical examiner on July 22. The cause of death was certified on August 29.”
Slash, 59, recently declared his heart to be “permanently fractured” in the wake of his stepdaughter’s passing.
He wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of Lucy-Bleu: “My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you and remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity and beauty you have always been. And still are.
“The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.”
Slash announced Lucy-Bleu’s death on July 22, after telling fans a day earlier he was pulling out of four shows on his ‘S.E.R.P.E.N.T.’ festival tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
He wrote on his Instagram Story at the time: “Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024.
“Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.
“The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.”
