OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Ortega was mocked by an ex-boyfriend because she’d never listened to Oasis.
The ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ star has been in the UK promoting her role in Tim Burton’s long-awaited sequel, but she had no idea the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers had announced last week they were reuniting for a 2025 tour as she was always a bigger fan of their Britpop rivals Blur.
She admitted to NME.com: “I had no idea they were back.
“Can I be honest? I actually just heard ‘Wonderwall’ for the first time a month ago.
“I actually sat down and listened to the whole thing. It was a whole thing that I got attacked for not knowing about it by an ex. I listen to Blur. I haven’t really gotten into Oasis.
“I don’t really have a history with Oasis and Oasis listening to really say.”
But while Jenna opted for Blur over Oasis, her co-star Catherine O’Hara wouldn’t be drawn into the classic rivalry.
She said: “I don’t partake in taking sides.”
The 21-year-old star recently admitted she would “love to be an investigative journalist” if she wasn’t an actress.
Asked what job she would do if she wasn’t an actress, Jenna told BuzzFeed: “All of people in my family are in the medical field. I feel like I would be a nurse, of some sort.
“I would also love to be an investigative journalist. I think that would be so fun, to just commit to something and become obsessed with something and then write about it. Potentially travel across the world to speak on those things. I just think that’s such a cool job.”
Jenna has even contemplated what her life would like if she decided to quit acting.
She said: “Anytime I get overwhelmed I think, ‘Do I want to do this? Do I not want to do this?’ I always go, ‘There’s always investigative journalism.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brittany Cartwright has taken “many years” to find the courage to leave her “toxic” marriage.
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star filed for divorce from Jax Taylor – the father of her three-year-old son Cruz – last week after they split earlier this year and she’s blasted speculation the separation is just a “publicity stunt.
Speaking on her and Jax’s ‘When Reality Hits’ podcast, Brittany said: “It’s taken me many, many years to get to this point where I’ve gained enough courage to strength to do what was best for me, get myself out of a toxic relationship and ultimately see my worth.
“It’s been very difficult, but I’m stronger than ever and my motivation is my son, my Cruzy, who deserves a happy and healthy mommy.”
The 35-year-old beauty also confirmed a major change to the podcast.
She said: “Moving forward, Jackson and I will be doing the podcast separately.”
In her divorce filing, Brittany listed January 24 as their date of separation, and she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakdown of their relationship.
She is seeking primary legal and physical custody of Cruz and is open to visitation for Jax.
The reality TV star also wants to block the ability of the court to award spousal support to either her or her estranged husband.
The celebrity duo announced their split earlier this year.
However, Brittany subsequently admitted that a reconciliation remained possible.
The reality TV star – who tied the knot in 2019 – told Us Weekly: “There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.
“Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologise for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard.”
Brittany revealed that she was feeling “really strong” and that she was financially independent, too, after splitting from Jax.
She said: “I feel really strong.
“At the beginning, I was freaking out. I came to Los Angeles for Jax and we moved in together immediately, so I’ve never been here by myself. But now I have my own friends and my own money.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson tried and failed to get Oasis tickets.
The 32-year-old pop star was just one of the 14 million people hoping to get to see Noel and Liam Gallagher as part of their reunion tour next year but revealed whilst he attended the Monza Grand Prix with premium Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, he had been unsuccessful in his attempt to secure tickets.
He told Sky Sports: “I didn’t, I was in the queue, but I never got a number… I did try, I did try.”
But the former One Direction star was then asked if he is planning on using his celebrity status to get his foot in the door and joked that could actually be an option.
He said: “I have my fingers crossed!”
The Doncaster-born star – who shot to fame in 2010 alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik as part of the ‘X Factor’-created boyband – previously hailed the Mancunian rockers as one of his favourites and admitted they served as some inspiration for him at the onset of his solo career.
He told the BBC: “My whole mission with this album is to not write these Hollywood-esque songs that talk about some unfathomable crazy love story. I’m so bored of that.
“Because I’m from up north, I grew up loving the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Oasis.
“And the way they tell stories is such an effortless thing. It’s real, it’s honest and it’s to the point, you know?”
Tickets went on sale at 8am in Ireland and 9am in the UK on Saturday (31.08.24) but many fans were left frustrated as ticket sites crashed due to the huge demand.
Many tickets were quickly advertised on resale sites at hugely inflated prices, leading Oasis to issue a warning to fans.
A message on Oasis’ X account read: “Please note. Oasis Live ’25 tickets can only be resold at face value via TicketmasterUK and Twickets! Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters.”

The 60-year-old actor is thought to have been dating jewellery designer Ines, 34, for two years but the pair only made their first public appearance together on Sunday (01.09.24) evening at the premiere of his new film ‘Wolfs’ at the Venice Film Festival.
The ‘Ticket to Paradise’ star opted for a smart black suit, and his significant other was all smiles in a flowing white dress as they held hands together at the launch of the new action comedy, which also stars George Clooney.
Just days ago, Brad and Ines were reportedly spending time together in the grounds of his French winery amid his long legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie over how she sold her share in the Château Miraval vineyard where they got married.
A source has now told Page Six that Brad has been “getting in plenty of quality time” with Ines at the French retreat.
The insider added: “He is living his life. Angelina has already done the worst thing she can do, which is separating the kids from their father.”
Brad claims he gave his ex Angelina half the winery as a wedding gift, with the condition that if she ever wanted to sell it she had to offer it to him first.
But the ‘Maleficent’ actress sold her share to a third party and Brad claims it was a breach of the deal.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ethan Hawke thinks “greed” runs the movie business.
The 53-year-old actor acknowledges that the movie industry is “designed to make money” – but Ethan admires actors and actresses who are willing to take financial risks.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Ethan explained: “Greed runs our universe.
“If you say you just want to make money, everybody understands what you are going for, and they are fine with it. ‘Great, yeah, good. Oh, yeah, he sold ten billion Big Macs. Good for him.’ No, you just poisoned the whole world.”
Ethan loves that some people within the film industry are still willing to prioritise art over profit.
The ‘Dead Poets Society’ star said: “I love it when people keep the great dream alive of making something magnificent, and it’s very hard because the whole industry that runs movie making is designed to make money – and most of all our favourite movies, that’s not what was motivating the project.
“I would never want to not be a person that wouldn’t sell their house to make a movie. I love that. I think it’s cool. I admire the hell out of it.”
Meanwhile, Ethan has admitted to feeling embarrassed that he’s worked with so few directors during his time in the movie business.
The veteran film star has “only worked with a handful of female directors” during his time in Hollywood and Ethan has admitted that he wishes it wasn’t the case.
He explained: “I’ve worked with a lot of men from all over the world. And I’ve only worked with a handful of female directors, which is, I would say, embarrassing for me, but it’s embarrassing for the industry because I want to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jax Taylor has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The 45-year-old reality star – who split from Brittany Cartwright earlier this year – has revealed via social media that he was diagnosed with the conditions after attending a treatment centre in late July.
Jax explained on Instagram: “A little over a month ago, I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself. After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. It’s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it.
“Thank you everyone who has reached out in support and who also shared their own personal struggles with me. Your messages have helped me more than you know. (sic)”
Brittany, 35, left Jax earlier this year, and she subsequently admitted that their relationship had become “toxic”.
The reality TV star – who has Cruz, three, with Jax – told Us Weekly: “I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.

The 37-year-old star has confessed that her love life is better than ever, explaining her boyfriend Mark Estes that she feels less insecure than she used to.
In an excerpt from the ‘Let’s be Honest’ podcast – which has been shared with Us Weekly – Kristin shared: “I think women, when you’re in your early 20s and stuff, you’re insecure in a lot of ways, you’re worried about your body or what [you] look like.
“I’ve let all of that go and I think I am more present physically during sex than I’ve ever been.”
Earlier this year, Kristin explained that she doesn’t “need a man for anything other than just pure happiness”.
The blonde beauty also insisted that she wasn’t worried about the 13-year age gap that exists between herself and Mark.

The 48-year-old actress – who has ten-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan, as well as India Rose, 12, with the actor – took to social media on Sunday (01.09.24) to heap praise on Chris, admitting that the Hollywood star is “almost perfect”.

The 32-year-old actress stars alongside Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofía Gascon in the crime-comedy film, and Selena has revealed that she relished the challenge of singing ‘Mi Camino’ in the movie.
The brunette beauty – who plays the part of Jessi Del Monte in the movie – said at the Telluride Film Festival: “It was actually a totally different song.
“It had a bit more of a rough sound to it and over the course of, you know, working with [singer-songwriter] Camille on the song intimately, it became almost like a ballad.
“It was more of a story about a woman and phases of life that she goes through and it just was beautiful.
“I watched it, I was in the studio for hours and hours and it was just so much fun, but also not trying to sing the way that I would normally sing.
“I had to try and, you know, in my mind to think, ‘Okay, this is what were the limits I could reach within my character.’ And it was really therapeutic and I thought it was so beautifully done.”
Meanwhile, Selena recently confessed to feeling inspired by Meryl Streep.
The actress worked with Meryl on ‘Only Murders in the Building’ and Selena recalled being brought to tears by one scene in particular.
Selena – who plays Mabel Mora on the TV show – told The Hollywood Reporter: “My favourite moment was watching Meryl sing onstage. That was chilling, and she would do it acappella, live every time, and I cried.
“I wasn’t in the scene, but I was there sitting in the audience, and I was completely moved and was brought to tears. Just the way she commits to her craft in every way is remarkable. It was beautiful.”

The 53-year-old TV star – who has Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21, with Mark – has revealed that she’s expecting her husband’s body to change in the coming years.
During the latest episode of ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’, she said: “I keep waiting for you to come into your dad bod.
“When are you going to develop your dad bod, do you think?”
Mark, 53, then rubbished the idea that he’ll simply allow himself to put on weight.

The 30-year-old actor and Abby, 27, announced their engagement back in December, and Patrick has now revealed that he’s taking a hands-off role in the planning of their wedding day.
The ‘White Lotus’ star – who began dating Abby back in 2015 – told GQ: “As I’ve learned, the role is just to make sure that she’s happy, just whatever she wants to do.
“I’m happy to give my opinion on things, and otherwise I’m just there to support her and make it so that she has the best day that she wants. That’s really my job.”
Patrick and Abby announced their engagement via a joint social media post in December.

The 26-year-old actress has played Cassie on the hit HBO drama series since 2019, and Sydney has revealed that she can’t wait to begin shooting season three of the hit TV show in January.

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie spent “months” preparing to sing in ‘Maria’.
The Oscar-winning actress plays opera singer Maria Callas in the new biographical drama film, and Angelina has revealed the extent of her preparation for the role.
Angelina, 49, said at the Telluride Film Festival: “I had seven months of opera classes, great teachers and Italian classes, and a supportive team that were going to help me.”
Despite this, Angelina still felt anxious about singing when the time came to do it.
She said: “I was so nervous that morning I was out of my mind.”
Angelina also revealed that she relished the experience of working with director Pablo Larrain.
She said: “I knew that as long as I gave my best, Pablo would be okay with it and somehow make it work. I knew I needed to do my best to try to help solve the puzzle, but I knew that he was a kind person and he was supportive and that helped.”
Recently, Angelina actually revealed that she stopped singing after an ex criticised her voice.
The Hollywood star – who was previously married to Johnny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton and Brad Pitt – admitted that she had to overcome her fears in order to play Maria Callas.
Angelina told The Hollywood Reporter: “It was an out-of-body experience because I don’t sing.
“I had somebody in my life who was not kind to me about singing. It was a relationship I was in. And so I just assumed I couldn’t really sing.
“I’d been to theatre school, so it was weird that it even had an effect on me. I just kind of adapted to this person’s opinion. So it took me getting past a lot of things to start singing.”

The 34-year-old singer recently began dating the reality TV star, according to PEOPLE.
Justin actually recently hinted at their burgeoning romance on social media, when he shared a photo of himself when he was seemingly on a date with Maren.
In the Instagram photo, Maren – who split from her ex-husband Ryan Hurd in October 2023 – is seen sitting across from Justin at an upscale restaurant.
Justin captioned the image: “Scary movies + Sushi (sic)”
Maren and Justin – who previously appeared on the dating series ‘Perfect Match’ – have so far remained tight-lipped about their rumoured romance.
Maren actually came out publicly as bisexual earlier this year, and the singer recently explained why she decided to share the news with her fans.
During an appearance on the ‘Work In Progress’ podcast, Maren said: “It was something I always knew about myself.
“I hate the confusion and I felt like I wanted to celebrate it. And just for myself, I just wanted to have everything out there. The 78-year-old pop icon has held “meaningful discussions” with the festival organisers about playing the coveted legend’s slot at Glastonbury in 2025.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Cher is practically the legend of all pop music legends. She would be incredible.
“It’s been a long time coming but she is finally in meaningful talks with Glastonbury about playing the legend’s slot.”
Cher hasn’t toured the UK since 2019 and while a full tour “doesn’t interest her anymore”, she’s open to the idea of performing at Glastonbury.
The insider added: “Everything is very much in the planning stages but Cher is hoping to play a handful of shows in the UK next year and Glastonbury could be one of them. The idea of a full scale tour just doesn’t interest her anymore.”
Cher previously admitted to being surprised by her own longevity.
The chart-topping pop icon – who released her debut solo album, ‘All I Really Want to Do’, in 1965 – revealed that she never imagined that she’d still be working at her age.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I never thought about getting this old and still having a job!”
Despite this, Cher doesn’t have any plans to quit the music business anytime soon.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Ortega remembers “sweating a lot” when she watched ‘Beetlejuice’ for the first time.
The 21-year-old actress has admitted to feeling terrified of Michael Keaton’s character following an encounter with a “drunk Beetlejuice” at a Halloween party.
The Hollywood actress – who stars in the new movie, ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ – told CNN: “I saw the movie when I was about nine or ten at a friend’s house.
“I remember sweating a lot because I saw a drunk Beetlejuice costume when I was, like, six years old at a Halloween costume party and he terrified me. It was really bad make-up. He was doing shots in the corner and had the make-up dripping down his neck. The green wig … it looked insane.
“So then my friend turned the movie on and I saw who it was and it took me right back. It made me really nervous watching it for the first time.”
Jenna admitted in August that she actually “got shy” when she met Michael Keaton for the first time.
The actress stars alongside Michael, 72, in ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and Jenna relished the experience of working with one of her acting heroes.
She told BuzzFeed: “I have been such a fan of Michael Keaton for such a long time that I think actually seeing him in person, I actually went inside myself because … I weirdly got shy.
“But he’s so sweet, he’s so funny, so charming, so professional. I feel like I learned so much by even watching him.”
Jenna was also amazed by Michael’s transformation into the character of Beetlejuice.
She said: “It was so strange to see him become Beetlejuice because he was unrecognisable. It was the first time I’d ever seen someone completely disappear – no bit of themselves involved. So that was pretty special.”
