OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith has set her Instagram to private after a cryptic post about relationships.
The 52-year-old actress has removed public access to her profile on the social media platform after posting on Monday (02.09.24) that “a woman is told she MUST belong to someone”.
She shared a quote on her page which read: “A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or … she is not worthy.”
In a lengthy captioned alongside the text post, she added that “mete mortal women are worthy simply because we exist”.
She wrote: “Even in some of our great religious traditions the goddess is rendered powerless without her male counterpart. And in others, the spiritual influence of the feminine, of Mother … is not even recognized.

Over the weekend, Jada shared an Instagram carousel of photos as she said goodbye to summer, with snaps including a beach selfie and a video on a jet sky with an unidentified man.
She wrote: “Summer is coming to an end and my heart has been blooming in so many ways. Can’t wait to share. Till then… I’m just embracing the last of the summer vibez.”
Some followers speculated about the mystery man, with some people joking it was her 55-year-old estranged husband Will Smith.
The pair – who got married on New Year’s Eve in 1997 – have children Jaden, 26, and Willow, 23, together while Will has son Trey, 31, with ex wife Sheree Zampino.
Last year, Jada told People magazine: “We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian May suffered a “minor stroke” a week ago that left him unable to “control” his arm.
The Queen guitarist, 77, has reassured fans he is doing OK after what he called a “little health hiccup” that saw him rushed to hospital.
The legendary musician found the ordeal “a little scary” and is relieved to still be able to play his beloved instrument.
He told fans in an Instagram video update: “I hope you’re all well out there. I’m here to bring you first of all some good news. I think good news is that I can play guitar after the events of the last few days and I say this because it was in some doubt because that little health hiccup that I mentioned happened about a week ago and what they called it was a minor stroke and all of a sudden – out of the blue – I didn’t have any control over this arm so was a little scary.”
Praising the staff who cared for him at Frimley Hospital in Camberley, Surrey, he added: “I have to say I had the most fantastic care and attention from Frimley Hospital where I went blue lights flashing… the lot. Very exciting!”
The ‘We Will Rock You’ hitmaker delayed informing his fans about his stroke because he doesn’t like to receive sympathy.

The 52-year-old actress – who ultimately didn’t end up getting the part – was 21 and the 74-year-old actor was 43 when the 1993 drama film was released, and she froze at the end of the scene when the kiss was meant to happen, but Jeff was aware of the age gap and didn’t lock lips with her.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tim Burton has received a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 66-year-old filmmaker and artist – whose credits include ‘Edward Scissorhands’, ‘Beetlejuice’, ‘Mars Attacks!’, ‘Batman’, and ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’ – finally received a sidewalk tribute on Tuesday (03.09.24).
At the ceremony, Burton was joined by the stars of his latest movie ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’, Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, and his actress girlfriend Monica Bellucci, 59.
In a speech, Keaton, 72, recalled Burton taking a chance on him and casting him as the titular superhero in 1989’s ‘Batman’, a role he went on to reprise in 1992’s ‘Batman Returns’.
He shared: “He hands me a script and goes, ‘Tell me what you think.’
“This is after Beetlejuice. After that performance. After that type of movie. He says to the studio, ‘I want that guy.’ I’ll never understand this why anyone cared. The uproar…you would’ve thought we were being invaded. It was unbelievable. The press was going crazy. But he stood by me. The guts it took to stand by that decision will always be appreciated by me.”
The ‘Jack Frost’ star – who plays the titular role in the pair of ‘Beetlejuice’ movies – says Burton should be credited for making superhero movies so lucrative.
He continued: “What that [movie] spawned…there are a lot of people making a lot of money out there with their superhero movies because of his choice and his vision of what those movies could be, because he changed everything.”
Despite his impact, Burton recently insisted he has no desire to make any more superhero films.
He told Variety: “At the moment, I would say no. I come at things from different points of view, so I would never say never to anything. But, at the moment, it’s not something I’d be interested in.”
Burton went on to reveal making ‘Batman’ in 1988 was a very different experience to the way most comic book films are made these days because the shoot felt “experimental”.
He explained to the publication: “I was lucky because at that time, the word ‘franchise’ didn’t exist. ‘Batman’ felt slightly experimental at the time …
“It deviated from what the perception [of a superhero movie] might be. So you didn’t hear that kind of studio feedback, and being in England [shooting the film], it was even further removed.
“We really just got to focus on the film and not really think about those things that now they think about even before you do it.”
Burton walked away from the ‘Batman’ movies after making his 1992 sequel and he admits the tide was starting to turn while they were shooting the film.
He added: “I got reenergised by the whole thing [when I returned for the sequel]. And that was when we started hearing the word franchise and where the studio started going, ‘What’s the black stuff coming out of the Penguin’s mouth?’
“It was the first time the cold wind of that kind of thing came upon me’.”
Burton came close to returning to superhero movies in the 1990s when he signed up to direct ‘Superman Lives’ which would have starred Nicolas Cage in the leading role, but the film was axed in 1998 and never made it into production.

Brooke admits she has been a “nightmare” in the past and is grateful to Denise for looking after her children when she wasn’t able, and she has continued to support her on her journey to sobriety.
She said: “It’s like I have that Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde thing, so it really wasn’t anything she did.
“She actually did step up and tried to step up, and was very helpful.
“In fact, she was really helpful with me recently too, last year.”
Brooke admits she is lucky to be coming out the other side of addiction and has a supportive group around her.
She added: “A lot of people at my level of addiction don’t make it. In fact, most people don’t. I worked really hard. It has not been easy. I am sober.
“I do work a programme. I do believe in the Twelve Steps. I have a fantastic sober community here in Malibu of some great women, and set meetings that I go to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce says the “stars aligned” when he was offered the chance to buy a stake in racehorse Swift Delivery.
Taylor Swift’s boyfriend – a tight end for The Kansas City Chiefs – acquired a “significant share” of the three-year-old gelding, but it doesn’t seem the name swayed his decision.
Speaking on his ‘New Heights’ podcast to brother Jason, he said: “When the stars align, it feels good to jump on board.
“You have really good friends that are good people who are into horse racing. They invited me to the Derby this year and I had the best time at the Derby. Sure enough, I thought, ‘Man, it would be fun to get involved and see one of your horses win a race.’
“It made sense to team up on this one.”
Turns out, the horse had great reviews.
He added: “I like the way Swift Delivery ran.
“I’ve seen three or four races that Swift Delivery has been in and sure enough, I’ve heard nothing but great reviews.
I just got on board because it was fun, and I could team up with a good friend of mine.”
Travis’ fellow shareholders are the Zoldan Family and Team Valor International founder and CEO Barry Irwin.
Swift Delivery was named before Travis started dating 34-year-old pop superstar Taylor over a year ago.
According to Bloodhorse, the Zoldans have been members of Team Valor’s syndicates for nearly four decades and this year, Travis attended the Kentucky Derby with the Phantom Fireworks owners thanks to his friendship with CEO Bruce Zoldan’s son Alex.
After attending the sporting event, the 34-year-old NFL star admitted it had been a “dope experience”.
He said on a previous episode of the podcast: “I’m a Derby guy now, man. It was so much fun.”
And not only did Travis relish being “part of the environment” of the races, but he was also particularly excited to attend with the Zoldans, who previously had a Kentucky Derby winner in 2011 with Animal Kingdom, another ownership venture with Team Valor.
He said: “They have been ingrained in the Derby for 30 years. The Zoldans are rightfully treated like royalty there. They made it easy and fun to come out there and enjoy the Derby.”
