OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow has shared a set of photos with her two children as she deals with being an empty-nest mother.
The Goop founder, 51, looked back at her summer of fun by posting a video montage on Instagram of the time she has spent with her daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses, 18, who she has with her 47-year-old Coldplay frontman ex-husband Chris Martin.
She captioned the clip: “Summer was good to us.”
One selfie from her montage shows the ‘Sliding Doors’ actress on a helicopter ride with Moses, while another snap showed the Oscar-winner in a car with Apple.
Other moments she captured during their summer together included one of her and Moses watching a sunset.
She also posted scenes from outings with her TV writer second husband Brad Falchuk, 53, and the two children he has from a previous marriage – Isabella, 19, and 17-year-old Brody.
Gwyneth also posed between both her kids in an image taken before Moses went to college.
He started at Northeastern University in August, and the same month, Gwyneth and Brad dropped off Brody to Yale University.
Her new empty-nester status appears to have been the reason she has decided to list her $30 million Los Angeles mansion for sale.
She has previously spoken about how she would struggle to cope with an empty home, but also told fans in a recent online question and answer session she was confident in the abilities of her children to handle life.
Gwyneth said: “I think my kids both really know themselves very well and that’s a trait about them that I both love and admire.”
She has also admitted she worries about them getting anxiety out on their own, adding in a web chat: “This is, as we know, the anxious generation. So that’s probably what I worry about.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Arterton has been having an “awful” time of it with her sick baby.
The 38-year-old actress welcomed a baby boy over the Christmas period of 2022 with her husband Rory Keenan but the little one has been ill over the last few weeks and admitted that his first proper bout of illness has been difficult to cope with.
She told Metro newspaper’s SixtySeconds column: “We’ve been dealing with a stomach flu sickness for the past ten days. I have to admit that it has been awful.
“We all got it and my son’s still got it. Today we were up at 5am, cleaning up and changing nappies. Please let it end.”
‘The Critic’ star noted that she was prepared for motherhood in that she is able to manage on “very little sleep” but has wondered when these early challenges will start to get “easier” for her.
She said: “The good thing is I don’t sleep that much, so I’m used to it – I’m able to function on very little sleep. But there are good days and bad days. People keep saying, ‘It gets easier’ and I’m like, ‘When?'”
Meanwhile, Gemma trained at the esteemed drama school RADA in her late teens, and after making her film debut as head girl Kelly in the 2007 comedy ‘St. Trinians’, she was cast as MI6 agent Strawberry Fields in the 007 thriller ‘Quantum of Solace’ alongside Daniel Craig but admitted that she was “quite naive” at the time and didn’t realise just how “big a deal it was” to land the part of a Bond girl.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Hale learned to stop “avoiding things” in her second year of sobriety.
The 35-year-old actress decided to give up alcohol for good in January 2022 and more than two-and-a-half years later has reflected that it was only recently that she decided to start going out socialising again whilst still staying off the drink.
Speaking on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ she said: “It was two years January 2nd. Something happens at the two years, at least for me anyway. I feel like the first year, I was just like ‘Okay, stay safe, stay home…’ Certain elements of my life fell away, and new people came into my life. But I feel like my second year, I was having fun, I gave a new definition to fun. It just looks different these days, I was going out, I was going to the dinners, and I wasn’t avoiding anything.”
The former ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star noted that she now feels “safe” within herself again and wouldn’t go back to her old ways for “anything ” but just wishes more people would speak out on issues that sometimes make them uncomfortable.
“She said: You can trust yourself again. For me, I just feel safe in my body again. I wouldn’t give this feeling up for anything. It’s amazing, it’s a ripple effect. And if more people in general, but especially women, can show the dirty, gross parts that we don’t wanna talk about, then I think that is beautiful and so cool.”
When Lucy hit the milestone at the beginning of the year, she acknowledged the occasion with a celebratory Instagram post.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John has been left with limited vision in one eye after battling a “severe eye infection”.
The 77-year-old musician has taken to social media to explain that he’s spent the summer “recuperating at home” after losing vision in one eye.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Elton shared: “Over the summer, I’ve been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye. I am healing, but it’s an extremely slow process and it will take some time before sight returns to the impacted eye.
“I am so grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the last several weeks. I have been quietly spending the summer recuperating at home, and am feeling positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery thus far.

The pop icon actually stopped touring in 2023, and Elton previously revealed that he was looking forward to spending more time with his family.

The 32-year-old actor starred in the music video for ‘Puntería’ – Shakira and Cardi B’s 2024 collaboration – and Lucien has heaped praise on the award-winning pop star, observing that Shakira “deserves” all of her success.
He told Us Weekly: “Wow … to work with someone who is not just iconic, but an inspiration to so many people throughout the years. And she’s truly one of the most incredible artistic, humble women I’ve ever, ever had the pleasure to meet, let alone work with.”

The 49-year-old actress plays opera singer Maria Callas in the biographical drama film ‘Maria’, and Angelina has explained how particular aspects of the movie chimed with her own reality.
Speaking to IndieWire, Angelina said: “I’m 49. I do feel like an older woman now and I embrace that.
“When I was younger, there were certain pieces of music and certain sounds that matched what I was feeling: I was falling in love, or I was curious about this, or whatever I was going through. There is nothing that meets what you’re feeling like opera.
“[Some pieces] are so beautiful, so full of hope and so full of yearning. Opera is bigger. It is bigger than we allow ourselves to feel in every moment.”
Angelina wasn’t very familiar with opera music before she began shooting ‘Maria’.
The Oscar-winning actress confessed: “I grew up in America. In other countries, they understand how essential and important it is, and it’s much more a part of the culture, but not where I was raised [Los Angeles].
“I had been introduced to [Maria] but it was a complete discovery of this new art form, to come in and transform my life and teach me all of the different operas.
“I hope that most people however they relate to the film go into a discovery and they let themselves feel it and they try to sing it. If I can do it…”
Angelina recently revealed that she spent “months” preparing to sing in ‘Maria’.
The actress said at the Telluride Film Festival: “I had seven months of opera classes, great teachers and Italian classes, and a supportive team that were going to help me.”

The 61-year-old star has suggested that she deserves more credit for making movies such as ‘G.I. Jane’ and ‘Striptease’.
Demi told Variety: “If I really look at ‘G.I. Jane’, there was a faction of people out to shut that movie down before it even opened.
“I did ‘Striptease’ and ‘G.I. Jane’ back to back. If anything in this industry has ever been stacked against me, it was having those two films come out at the same time and becoming the highest-paid actress on top of that.”
Demi believes that her movies and her success triggered a change in the film business.
She said: “That moment was so powerful for me because it wasn’t just about me; it was about changing the playing field for all women. But because I was portraying a stripper, I betrayed women. And because I played a soldier, I betrayed men.”

And now, Demi has suggested that she’s open-minded about a possible remake of the film starring Channing Tatum.
Asked about the possibility of a remake, Demi said: “There are some films better left alone, but it depends on what the take is.
“The success of ‘Ghost’ is really about alchemy. Think about Whoopi, who anchored the comedy in a magical way. Or Tony Goldwyn, the boy next door who is the most unsuspecting villain. And the sweetness and virility of Patrick Swayze.

The 33-year-old actress starred alongside Meryl, 75, on season three of the mystery comedy-drama series, and Ashley has now admitted to feeling overwhelmed when she received praise from her award-winning co-star.

The 34-year-old pop star began dating Travis Kelce – who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs – in 2023, and Taylor appears a number of times in a promo for the new season.

“These two inspire me, and there’s something really special about being a part of designing a line that combines my style with chic looks for kids.”

The 53-year-old filmmaker directed former Bond star Daniel Craig in ‘Queer’, the new historical drama film, and Luca has insisted that Bond’s sexuality shouldn’t be the focus of so much attention.
Asked if there could ever be a gay James Bond, Luca replied: “Guys, let’s be adults in the room for a second. There is no way around the fact that nobody could ever know James Bond’s desires. Period.

The 34-year-old sports star – who is dating pop singer Taylor Swift – won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in February, and Travis has now insisted that he’s not even thought about retiring from the sport.
During an appearance on the ‘Rich Eisen Show’, Travis shared: “It didn’t cross my mind one bit.
“I think the excitement of the challenge of this year, being able to maybe do it a third time in a row – I think that alone was all I needed. That was an instant thought, so there was really not a chance in hell that I wasn’t coming back this year.”
Travis also revealed that he’s following the advice of former NFL star Julian Edelman.
The Super Bowl-winning star said: “He was mentioning, you know, he had to hang it up when he couldn’t go out there and practice, he couldn’t get out there and work on his craft to feel like he’s accountable for the guys next to him, and that’s when he kind of started questioning it.
“I’m just having so much fun, you know, just so appreciative and so fortunate that I’ve been able to come into year 12 and still have this energy and this love and the ability to go out there and get to work.”

The ‘Leftovers’ actor – who announced his engagement to Nicole Brydon Bloom last week – has opened up on the bond he still shares with the ‘Friends’ star almost seven years after their 2017 split following two years of marriage.
He reflected on her recently calling out Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance over negative comments he made about “childless cat ladies”.
Justin told The Times newspaper: “She is still very dear to me so of course, yeah, I feel protective.
“But she batted back criticism, as well she should.”
