OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake has agreed a plea deal in his driving while intoxicated (DWI) case.
The 43-year-old pop star was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, in June for allegedly driving while under the influence but his lawyer and prosecutors have reportedly reached an agreement that will see the initial charge dropped and the ‘Mirrors’ hitmaker accepting punishment for Driving While Ability Impaired instead.
Sources told TMZ Justin will be required to pay a $300 to $500 fine for the offence – which is not classed as drunk driving – and the exact amount will be set by a judge during a hearing on Friday (13.09.24), when the plea deal is officially before the court.
However, the ‘Social Network’ actor will still have his driver’s license suspended in New York, a standard year-long punishment after he refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over by police.
During a previous hearing, Justin’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr, denied the allegation and asked for the case to be dismissed outright, alleging that errors were made by the arresting officer.
Before his arrest, the singer enjoyed a a meal with friends in The Hamptons.
A source previously told DailyMail.com: “Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant, like there are most nights.
“They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.
“Justin left at 12:30am and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene.”
The ‘SexyBack’ star had claimed he had “one martini” after being arrested for driving while intoxicated.
According to documents seen by PEOPLE, Timberlake told the authorities: “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”
However, in the police report, it was claimed that the pop star drove through a stop sign, and that he failed to “keep on the right side of the roadway”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce struggled with how “quiet” the US Open was.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his pop superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift went viral when they were spotted animatedly singing along to The Darkness’ 2003 hit ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ as it played out over the speakers at the golf tournament over the weekend.
And the 34-year-old sportsman has admitted he had a strong urge to “heckle” Jannik Sinner as they watched him in action against Taylor Fritz because he was unaccustomed to the silence during play, so he was thrilled when the breaks gave him time to show his “personality”.
Noting it was his first time attending the event, Travis said on his and brother Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast: “This was a completely different world.
“It’s very quiet and you know us. When it’s very quiet we want to say something and we want to do something. I’m not a quiet person. I’ve never been a quiet person.
“I’ve always been the kid in the back of the class when it gets quiet, say something smart or say something funny, at least try to get a rise out of people. So the entire time I wanted to heckle the Italian, Sinner, the number one player in the world. And really try to get in his head to help my guy Fritzy out.”
But Travis “played it cool” and was “respectful”.
He added: “I dressed the part. I acted the part.
“I was very quiet. Except for intermissions when they were playing music. That was the only time I was really showing my personality.”
Meanwhile, The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins recently admitted seeing the couple singing his song was “heartwarming”.
He said on TikTok: “It was a really heartwarming moment for me, and my little girl can’t wait to tell her friends at school.”
The 49-year-old rocker also revealed it wasn’t the first time he’s crossed paths with the ‘Karma’ singer as he was in the audience for her ‘Eras Tour’ show in Zurich in July.
He shared: “They put us in a lovely VIP area, I had Chris Rock on one side, Roger Federer on the other side, and I was just dad of the year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Ortega felt “uncomfortable” when she was asked to kiss the late Cameron Boyce during an audition.
The 21-year-old actress has reflected on the last time she saw the ‘Descendants’ actor – who died in his sleep in 2019 after suffering a seizure at the age of 20 – and she’ll always be grateful that he spoke up when they were put in the “weird” position for trying out to be love interests after being friends for years.
Speaking to French TV outlet Canal+, she said: “The last time I saw my friend Cameron Boyce — I’d known him since I was like 11 or 12, and we were supposed to kiss [in an audition] and he knew me, since I was 11 or 12. This is a few years later, 15, 16, came in, we were supposed to be love interests.
“But because he obviously felt weird and he was a bit older, he was like — we both just kinda looked at each other and we were like, ‘No, we can’t do this.’
“And it was so sweet because I was uncomfortable and I was having a hard time. .. And then, we wished each other well.”
Jenna was “really thankful and grateful” to Cameron for speaking up, and agreed with her ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ co-star Catherine O’Hara when she said he had been a “gentleman”.
Meanwhile, Jenna recently admitted she was “terrified” about joining ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ as Astrid Deetz – the daughter of Winona Ryder’s character Lydia Deetz – alongside acting greats such as the ‘Stranger Things’ star, Michael Keaton, and Catherine O’Hara.
She said on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’: “Never in my wildest dreams. I just never could have anticipated something like that happening.

The 49-year-old actor – who has Lincoln, 11, and nine-year-old Delta with the ‘Frozen’ actress – is blown away by his wife’s talent and can’t help but get emotional when he sees her in action.
Appearing on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, Dax was asked during a game of ‘Fast Five’ what always makes him cry and he said: “100% when I see — It used to be when I would see Kristen sing.
“Which I get to see occasionally. She’ll host a charity event or something and she’ll sing, and every time I think ‘I can’t believe you can do that. It’s just so incredible.’ So I always cry when she sings.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty knew “her time was very, very limited” in the weeks before she died.
The ‘Charmed’ actress passed away in July following a long battle with breast cancer and her friend Kelly Ripa – who interviewed the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star on her ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast in June – admitted their final conversations left her “crushed” because her pal was so aware of her own mortality.
Recalling how she was “constantly” trying to set Shannen up on dates, Kelly told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I always had an idea in my mind as to who might be a good match with Shannen.
“But the last conversation, she actually said to me, ‘I’m kind of a tough sell because I don’t have a lot of time left.’
“So that, I think, is what I took away, that I was crushed that she seemed to know that her time was very, very limited.”
Despite her sadness at Shannen’s death, the 53-year-old star found “peace” in knowing the actress is finally free of pain.
She added: “I will say, she was telling me about her treatments and it was so brutal and painful. It sounds very glib but the fact she’s no longer in pain — physical pain — provides everyone that knew and loved her with a little peace.”
The ‘Live With Kelly and Mark’ star found it “painful” to process her friend’s death.
She said: “It was just painful because we’re the same age, we grew up together, and I always thought she got the rawest deal of anyone in show business.
I still believe that. I stand by that.”
During her appearance on ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’, Shannen – whose 11-year marriage to Kurt Iswarienko ended in April 2023 – admitted she found it “hard” to date because of her illness.
She said: “I’m a very hard sell.
“I think it’s hard for somebody like me, in my personal opinion, because it’s hard to go into dating someone when you know that they might have an expiration date.”
Shannen also noted “most men” don’t “handle death and illness … as well as women do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Garcia has filed for divorce from Artem Chigvintsev.
The former WWE star applied to the courts to end her two-year marriage to the dancer – with whom she has four-year-old son Matteo – on Wednesday (11.09.24), less than two weeks after the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ professional was arrested on domestic violence charges, online records obtained by TMZ show.
Nikki began looking for divorce lawyers on 30 August, the day after Artem’s arrest and the outlet reports she has hired Evan Craig Itzkowitz.
It is unclear if the former couple had a pre-nuptial agreement in place.
Artem was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant on 29 August.
Audio of a 911 call obtained by TMZ featured a dispatcher saying the 42-year-old dancer had alleged his spouse had thrown her shoes at him.
The clip featured the dispatcher saying Artem’s call “initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party].
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route.
“There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
But the dancer then stated he no longer needed medical assistance, with the dispatcher confirming: “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
Artem was booked on a charge of corporal injury to a spouse and released later in the day on $25,000 bond.
The day after his arrest, 40-year-old Nikki appealed for privacy.
Her representative said in a statement: “This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
The pair met on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in 2017 but didn’t start dating until the following year, after the retired wrestler had split from John Cena.
They got engaged in January 2020 and married in Paris in August 2022.

OHMYGOSSIP — Aubrey Plaza “forgot how to talk” when she had a stroke at the age of 20.
The ‘White Lotus’ actress was briefly paralysed and lost her “motor skills” during the scary medical episode, which happened while she was “mid-sentence” chatting with a friend.
She told SiriusXM’s Howard Stern: “It was wild. The craziest thing about it ― and kind the coolest thing about it ― it happened mid-sentence.
“I took the train to Astoria to have lunch with my friends and I walked into their apartment ― I hadn’t even taken my jacket off ― and it just happened.
“That’s when I was paralysed, but only really for a minute or something. I lost my motor skills really briefly.
“The freakiest thing was I forgot how to talk.”
The 40-year-old actress previously admitted her friends initially thought she was joking when she had her stroke but she was eventually able to signal she needed help
She told NPR’s ‘Fresh Air’: “I think [my friends] thought I was making a joke … I was always doing something stupid.
“But then after a couple of minutes, they kept saying, ‘Do you want us to call an ambulance?’ and I was aware enough to shake my head yes. I kept just shaking my head yes because I knew something was really, really wrong. But I didn’t know what it was.”
But when paramedics arrived, they didn’t think Aubrey had had a stroke because of her age.
She added: “They were thinking that I was dehydrated. And I really think they thought I was on drugs because they kept asking me if I’d taken drugs, and I hadn’t,” she said at the time. “I hadn’t really put anything into my body that day and — except for birth control.”
The ‘Megalopolis’ actress eventually met with a doctor and “everyone realised” what was wrong when she couldn’t tell the difference between her left and right.
She reflected: “There was no recovery. I mean,when you have a stroke, you have a stroke.
“There’s nothing you can do about it. Your brain has to heal itself. And that part of the blood clot area in my brain will never be healed.
“It’s a tiny, little black hole in my brain. So I had some cognitive, you know, therapy that I went to. I went back to school in the fall.”

The 76-year-old Hollywood star – who has earned an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards during her dazzling career – recently hit the headlines when she stated her new role in ‘Matlock’ would be her last acting job, but she’s now clarified her stance and explained she hopes the show will run for many seasons.
Explaining she wants the programme to continue for “several years”, Kathy added to Variety: “I can’t believe I’m saying that about doing episodic TV, but this has been so much of a challenge and a delight.
“Matty is certainly my magic carpet right now, and I want her to go sailing on for quite a long time.”
The ‘Misery’ actress admitted her friends can’t see her stopping working.
She added: “My friends say I’ll probably be like Molière and die in my chair on the stage, because it really is a life force for me.”
Despite her advancing years, Kathy feels she is in good shape after losing a lot of weight.
she said: “It’s helped me tremendously that, over the last six or seven years, I’ve lost 100 pounds. I don’t think I’ve been this slim since I was in college.”
Admitting she was at her heaviest in 2011’s ‘Harry’s Law’, she added: “I had to sit down every moment that I could. It was hard for me to walk. I’m ashamed I let myself get so out of shape, but now I have a tremendous amount of energy.”
The veteran actress had declared ‘Matlock’ to be her “last dance” earlier this week.
She told The New York Times newspaper: “Everything I’ve prayed for, worked for, clawed my way up for, I am suddenly able to be asked to use all of it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused of sexual abuse by former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard.
The 54-year-old rap mogul – who is facing a string of sexual assault and trafficking cases – is being sued by the 41-year-old singer, who alleged the Bad Boy Records founder groped her on a number of occasions, threatened her life and trapped her inside a locked car for two hours, as well as claiming he was physically violent towards other women.
In a lawsuit filed in New York on Tuesday (10.09.24) and obtained by Rolling Stone, Dawn claimed that from the time she met Diddy while auditioning for ‘Making the Band’ in 2004 until her career with him ended abruptly in 2012, the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker “manipulated her with mantras that submission to his depraved demands was necessary for career advancement, instilling in her the belief that such abuse and exploitation were required for female artists to succeed in the music industry.”
She detailed dozens of encounters she claimed to have witnessed, including drug-fuelled parties with young women who appeared “lethargic or passed out” while “Combs and his friends performed sexual acts on them”, and also stated she saw Diddy choke and strangle his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura – who previously reached a settlement with her former lover, a day after filing her own sex trafficking and abuse lawsuit – and once observed the late Kim Porter emerge from the recording studio in tears with visible facial injuries.
Dawn alleged her former Diddy-Dirty Money bandmate would barge into her changing room and “grope” her “bare buttocks” and “attempted to touch her breasts” between 2009 and 2011, and in 2010 offered to buy her “[fake] t****** for Christmas” in 2010.
Though she resisted Diddy’s advances, Dawn claimed the more she did, the more he retaliated against her by denying her singing parts on songs or turning off her microphone during performances.
Dawn – who claimed she was subjected to degrading comments about her appearance from Diddy for years – alleged the ‘Finna Get Loose’ hitmaker once threw a punch at her when she told him not to call her a “b****”.
Her lawsuit added: “Before Mr. Combs could strike her, Mr. Combs’ bodyguard grabbed her, escorted her out of the studio and forced her into the Bad Boy Records Bentley that was parked outside.”
Dawn claimed she was locked in the freezing vehicle for two hours and was only freed after she called her father, who rushed to the studio.
She stated Diddy later told her: “You don’t call your dad unless you’re in the hospital.”
Dawn is seeking restitution, as well as compensatory and punitive damages, the amount to be determined at trial. She is also suing former Bad Boy Entertainment CEO Harve Pierre.
Diddy has accused Dawn of trying to “rewrite history” and denied the allegations via his lawyer.
Attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement: “Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in the hopes of trying to get a pay day — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour.
“If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with ‘Making the Band’ and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the ‘Making the Band’ reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on ‘The Love Album’ last year.
“It’s unfortunate that Ms. Richard has cast their 20-year friendship aside to try and get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confidently standing on truth and looks forward to proving that in court.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pharrell Williams told a PETA protesters that she was “right” when she interrupted his panel at Toronto International Film Festival.
The 51-year-old singer was speaking after a screening for his new Lego-animated documentary ‘Piece By Piece’ when a woman ran to the stage holding a sign which read “Pharrell: Stop Supporting Killing Animals For Fashion”.
The star – who Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director as well as running is own Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream streetwear lines – repeatedly said: “You’re right. God bless you.”
He urged security to stand down and let him handle things himself, and she kept shouting as he tried to talk.
He added: “Yes, I have. I have, you’re right.”
She was eventually escorted out, and he addressed the audience in the room as he insisted you need to be “in a position of power” to change people’s perceptions.
He said: “You know, Rome wasn’t made in a day, and sometimes when you have plans to change things and situations — you have to get in a position of power and of influence where you can change people’s minds and help progression.
“That is not necessarily the way to do it, and sitting in my position, when I have conversations on behalf of organisations like that unbeknownst to them, they come out here and do themselves a disservice.
“That’s okay. When that change comes, everybody in this room will remember that I told you we are actually working on that.
“And if she would’ve just asked me, I would’ve told her. But instead, she wanted to repeat herself.”
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) – who also protested his Olympic party in the summer – urged Pharrell to makes changes “now”.
They wrote on their website: “You made this same comment in Paris in July at your Olympics kick-off party.
“It doesn’t take ‘work’ to make a decision to stop doing something that most designers have already stopped doing.
“You have the power to make an important change now, and if you don’t, you should take it somewhere where you can.”

The ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’ hitmaker recalled attending the ceremony with his beloved mom, Roxie Roker, in 1993, two years before she died of cancer aged 66, upon receiving the Best Rock award for his song ‘Human’ on Wednesday (11.09.24).
He said in a pre-show segment before the main ceremony at New York City’s UBS Arena in Long Island: “Wow. This is incredible. I am so grateful. Thirty-one years ago, my mother was with me at an award show, was at the VMAs, so I dedicate this to her.
“I thank God for this journey, this incredible journey. I thank Jesus for life.”
Prior to the VMAs, the 60-year-old musician shared a video from the 1993 event and said he would have his mother in his “heart” and mind when he returned to the awards.
He wrote on Instagram alongside the clip of him winning Best Male Video for ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’: “Having my beautiful mother by my side at my first #VMAs 31 years ago is a moment I will always cherish.
“I’m looking forward to taking the stage all these years later where she will be in my heart.”
Meanwhile, Lenny recently declared he’s “ready for love”.

The 42-year-old star married Broadway actor Nick Cordero – with whom she has five-year-old son Elvis – in 2017, and he died aged 41 just three years later, months after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Now, Amanda has claimed she spoke to her late husband through mediums, and he approves of her trying to find love four years after his passing.
She told PEOPLE magazine: “He has definitely given me his blessing. And he always says it’s coming.
“That’s one of the running themes from readings that I’ve had, that it’s coming. I know you’re lonely. It’s coming. I don’t know. We’ll see.”
The dancer has been dating “for almost three years”, but despite learning “a lot” from her experiences, she is yet to find The One.
She added: “I’ve learned a lot. I try to take something positive from each little date or relationship that I’ve been on.

The 62-year-old ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ hitmaker was shooting a music video in Nashville near to the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge when they noticed a woman in distress.
In CCTV footage made available online by Nashville police, the Bon Jovi frontman and a production assistant were seen approaching the woman after she stepped over the railings.
In the video, other people passed by the woman, while the singer and his team were setting u camera equipment slightly further down the bridge.
Bon Jovi can be seen speaking to and comforting her as the member of his team stays further back before the rock star approached and brought her back over the railings to safety.
He was then seen hugging the woman as they walked to the end of the bridge.
Police chief John Drake said in a statement: “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”
And the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department – who shared the video – wrote on X: “A shout out to @jonbonjovi his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night.
“Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.”
Shortly after the news broke, singer Miranda Lambert insisted that Bon Jovi’s actions reflected the spirit of the city.
She told Extra: “That sounds like Nashville. That’s what I love about that place, honestly.
“I always say it’s a big enough city, but it’s a lot of small-town people with this small-town feel. Nashville, I love that community.
“That’s what we call home, so I always say I’m a TN girl — one half my hearts in Texas and half’s in Tennessee and now New York.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga feared she’d be alone forever.
The ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ actress got engaged to Michael Polansky in April after five years together but the 38-year-old star – who was previously engaged to both Taylor Kinney and Christian Carino – admitted she had been worried she’d never find the right partner.
She told America’s Vogue magazine: “I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself—forever. And that was really scary. Because it’s a big life. And I don’t think anyone really knows what it feels like unless you’re in it.
“And I don’t have to do this alone anymore.”
The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker was introduced to Michael through her mother, Cynthia Germanotta.
She recalled: “My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?”
Gaga and Michael finally met at the 40th birthday party of Facebook founding president Sean Parker and hit it off immediately.
She recalled: “I got invited and I said, ‘I wonder if Michael is going to be there,’ and my mom said yes, and so I went to the ​party and I kept asking for him and he finally came over to me and we talked for three hours. We had the most amazing conversation.”
Michael added: “I didn’t know much about her and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness—she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota.”
They talked on the phone for weeks and then “just fell in love” on their first date before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
While Michael had been living in San Francisco, he moved to quarantine with the star in Malibu and they are grateful to have had the “gift” of quality time together.
Gaga said: “It was really kind of special. I’d been so focused on my career since I was a teenager. And the gift of that time was that I got to completely focus on my relationship. I met this totally supportive, loving human being who wanted to get to know me—outside of Lady Gaga…
“It was very painful to see how deeply [the pandemic] affected the world.
“Not only how sick people got, so many people died, but also so many people were alone. I feel very grateful that I wasn’t alone. I had never met anyone like Michael. He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other.”
Michael added: “We had this amazing chapter of a weird kind of normalcy that’s essential for any relationship to develop in a real way—taking walks, making coffee, hanging out with the dogs, reading books together.
“The pandemic was easier on her than you might think. She’s used to being isolated because of her fame and was able to take so much of it in stride. I think she loved the chance to slow down. She’s been operating at an unfathomable level of intensity for years and it’s no secret it had caught up to her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey became obsessed with making doll houses when she was stuck at home battling ill health.
The 29-year-old pop star – who uses she/they pronouns and is mum to three-year-old son Ender with screenwriter Alev Aydin – spent a lot of time recovering at home after being diagnosed with Lupus and a rare lymphoproliferative disorder and she’s revealed she used her time to focus on a new hobby – building tiny furniture from scratch and even making her own wallpaper.
She told Paper magazine: “It was something I could do inside, and it was something I could do that was creative, and it was something quiet that I could do when my son was asleep. I couldn’t go out, obviously, I couldn’t drink, I couldn’t be in a social environment.
“I was home a lot, and I just heard about doll housing, and I loved it.”
Halsey also explained the hobby also helped with some of her symptoms, adding: “It was also great for me, because I had a really hard time with my motor function.
“My fine motor skills were not great. When I was sick, I couldn’t even open an envelope, or peel a sticker off a thing; it required me to be focused and meticulous with my fine motor action, which I really wanted to retain.
“I knew if I started playing music again, I wanted to be able to play piano and guitar. I couldn’t practice either while my kid was asleep at night, so I was doing doll housing, and I just got so obsessed with it. I started building furniture from scratch, and then making my own wallpaper.”
She added the hobby helped her focus on “beautiful tiny things” because she felt so unattractive when she wasn’t well.
Halsey added: “I just felt really f****** ugly the whole time I was sick. I could not look at myself. I didn’t look in a mirror, unless I was putting a contact lens in my eye, for months.
“I was just unrecognisable. I didn’t like looking at myself. It was horrific, and it would spin me out, and just sitting there and playing with these beautiful tiny things was so much nicer.”
