“But it’s the basic love that we have for each other.”
The couple has John , 40, Katia, 37, and twins Malcolm and Olivia, 33 together and ‘The Equalizer’ star Denzel previously explained that his wife his “biggest achievement” in life.

Beyonce compares fame to being in prison

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce has compared fame to being in prison.
The 43-year-old pop superstar – who has three children with her rapper husband Jay Z – works hard to protect her family’s privacy and confessed she disappears from the spotlight whenever she doesn’t have a work project to promote because she won’t sacrifice her “peace” for any amount of money.
She told GQ magazine: “One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my kids can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring my personal life isn’t turned into a brand.
“It’s very easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have made an extreme effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”
She went on to add she finds solace in making music and launching her SirDavis Whisky brand, but being famous is tough to deal with.
Beyonce explained: “Working on the music for [album] ‘Cowboy Carter’ and launching this exciting new [drinks]project feel nothing like prison, nor a burden.
” In fact, I only work on what liberates me. It is fame that can at times feel like prison. So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why.”
Beyonce also insisted she builds her work schedule around her kids – Blue Ivy, 12, and six-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir – to make sure she spends as much time with them as possible.
She said: “I build my work schedule around my family. I try to only tour when my kids are out of school. I always dreamt of a life where I could see the world with my family and expose them to different languages, architecture, and lifestyles.
“Raising three kids isn’t easy. The older they get, the more they become their own individuals with unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are God-sent.
“Parenting constantly teaches you about yourself. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It’s grounding and fulfilling.
My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals … ”

Amanda Bynes thrilled with how her social media presence is growing years after she quit Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Bynes is thrilled with the growth of her social media presence.
The 38-year-old star – who rose to fame on Nickelodeon shows ‘All That’ and ‘The Amanda Show’ and later quit the industry altogether after enduring a number of personal problems – does not tend to say much in the media these days, but noticed on Tuesday (10.09.24) that her Instagram output had doubled in global reach in the last 30 days.
Alongside a screenshot of statistics, she wrote: “Wow this is so kool.”
The data showed that that Amanda’s Instagram page had had 14 million visits in the last four weeks, and that there had been a 512 percent increase on the number of viewers looking at her content, giving her a new total of nearly 2.4 million.
The ‘Hairspray’ star – who made her last on-screen appearance in the 2010 romcom ‘Easy A’ – has just over 515,000 followers on the platform, but almost 60 percent of her views came from those who do not follow her to begin with.
The figures also showed that Amanda’s latest Reel – which featured her showing off a new set of blue nails – clocked in as her top piece of content having attained 4.5 million views.
In December last year, the ‘She’s The Man’ actress – who split from her fiancee Paul Michael in July 2022 after three years together – landed her own podcast but pulled the plug on it after just one episode having decided to pursue a more steady job.
At the time, she wrote on Instagram: “The 1st episode of my podcast did really well.. I was actually surprised and of course was going to keep going after friends encouraged me to..
“After thinking about it, though, I would rather get my manicurist license and have a consistent job.
“I’m going to follow that path instead. Thank you for following my journey!”

Liam Gallagher to hold ‘top secret’ dinner with Noel

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher is going to be attending a “top secret” night out with his brother Noel ahead of the upcoming Oasis reunion.
The ‘Wonderwall’ singer ended his 15-year feud with Noel to get the band back together for a series of shows next year which have been dubbed Oasis live ’25 but the ticket sale process was branded a fiasco by fans after long queues and the surprise introduction of dynamic pricing left many disappointed – and now Liam has revealed he will be having a chat with his brother about it all when he gets back from a gig in Malta.
In a post on X, a fan asked Liam when he will be getting together with Noel again and the singer replied: “After Malta we’re going out for some food and drinks in London I can’t say where as it’s top secret.”
During the session on the social media site, Liam also had a bit of fun with his followers and seemingly shrugged off the Oasis ticket scandal.
When he was asked by a fan who much he would pay to see his favourite band of all time – The Beatles – he replied: “80 quid at a push”
The sum is much less than the £355 some fans paid for Oasis tickets which were originally advertised for £148 in the sale before the introduction of dynamic pricing.
Following an outcry from fans over ticketing issues, Oasis announced two extra shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next summer which will be made available to all those who missed out on tickets in the original sale.
Disappointed fans were given the chance to enter a ballot in a bid to win a chance to buy tickets for the two shows in September 2025 and they will find out whether they have been successful on Friday (13.09.24).

Kate Winslet has emotional connection to a certain ice cream flavour: ‘Never, ever revealed this…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet has an emotional connection to rum and raisin ice cream.
The 48-year-old actress – who has been married to Edward Abel Smith since 2012 – initially loathed the thought of the dessert before she had tried it but later came to like it and enjoyed it on the day her husband proposed to her.
Speaking on the ‘Table Manners’ podcast, she told hosts Jessie and Lennie Ware: “This is really sharing…never, ever, ever revealed this before. I love ice cream but I don’t eat it very often because I just know it’s not gonna be nice.
“I only wanna have it if it’s really amazing, great ice cream. So, my mum’s favourite ice cream was rum and raisin. And, for years, I would hear her say ‘I’ll just have a little scoop of rum and raisin’ and I thought it sounded terrible.
“When I was a teenager, I tasted the rum and raisin ice cream and I could not believe how delicious it was.
“On the day my husband Ned proposed to me – I had no idea he was going to – we went for an incredible walk and we got to a cafe at the end, and they had proper beautiful, clotted cream ice cream. They had rum and raisin, and I had rum and raisin on the day my husband proposed to me.”
The ‘Titanic’ star – who was initially married to Jim Threapleton and has Mia, 23, with him as well as 20-year-old Joe with second husband Sam Mendes and 10-year-old son Bear with Ed – revealed that her youngest gets “such a kick” out of the story and the iced treat has become a wedding anniversary staple for her.
She said: “Now, our 10 year old gets such a kick out of that story. He’s like ‘Mum, you’ve gotta have it. You had it on the day Dad proposed, you’ve got to have it, it’s not an option. You have to have it!’ and I’m like ‘Yes I do.’
“I have it whenever I see it now and every anniversary.”

Holly Johnson felt like he’d been ‘cancelled’ after AIDS diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Johnson felt like he’d been “cancelled” after he went public with his AIDS diagnosis.
The Frankie Goes To Hollywood star, 64, was diagnosed with the condition in 1991 when he was in his early 30s after being struck down with symptoms including skin lesions, a fungal toenail infection and Kaposi’s sarcoma – a form of cancer – and was told he had between two months and two years to live.
The singer eventually went public with his diagnosis in 1993 and it made him feel alone and isolated because of the stigma surrounding the disease at the time. He told the Guardian newspaper: “It felt like being cancelled. For quite a number of years no one rang except a couple of friends like [Radio 1 DJ] Janice Long and [singer] Kirsty MacColl.”
However, he was given a boost when superstar David Bowie got in touch. He added: “I got a phone call from David Bowie, which was like getting a phone call from God.
“We ended up chatting for over an hour on a Saturday night. We spoke a lot about art – the Vorticists and Keith Vaughan – and he said, ‘I’ve got a tour coming up; what songs shall I sing?’ So I just reeled off a load of songs that I loved.”
Holly spent years being treated with “experimental drugs” and he suffered from side effects from the medicine as much as the illness itself. However, he admits being ill a lot helped him bond with his father after years of having a frosty releationship.
He explained: “You’d grab experimental drugs with both hands and one of those gave me pancreatitis for five years, which is a very painful condition.
“[My father and I] bonded over ill health – he had angina and gout. I remember when he rang me up after hearing about combination therapy on the news and said, ‘I was glad to hear there’s hope for you.’ So yes, we came to terms with each other.”

She told People: “It was the most amazing time with my babies. I was like, ‘This is what life is about.’ So, the little joys in life. I’m so grateful for those moments where I can go go from the crazy schedule then to have these humbling moments where it’s just [her] being a mom.
“Every day is nonstop, but it’s chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So first summer [with] four is crazy, but we’re doing all right. We’re making it happen.”
The ‘Goodies’ hitmaker recently admitted that her weight has been going up and down since the birth of her youngest child but she is going to allow herself some treats amid her health kick because she “needs it” for the benefit of her mental health.
She told E! News: “Sometimes, you want to make things picture-perfect and life doesn’t allow you to do that. This is real s***. There’s no perfectness to motherhood. For example, I had a scale drop and now the scale went back up. I was like, uhhh.
“I’m going to give myself grace, and eat a couple of potatoes and ice cream because I need that for my mind. That’s where I am with it—and it’s okay!”

The 77-year-old singer has cleared out her home and sent some of her most treasured possessions to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s in London this week with lots including handwritten lyrics, a script for Sofia Coppola’s movie ‘Marie Antoinette’, designer clothes and artworks – and Marianne is adamant she just doesn’t want to feel defined by material things.
She told The Independent newspaper: “I’ve always enjoyed a life of the mind. My home is in my head, I carry it with me. I am my home.

Chappell Roan shares her Christian parents’ reaction to her coming out as a lesbian

OHMYGOSSIP — Chappell Roan’s parents were supportive of her coming out as a lesbian.
The 26-year-old singer – whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz – was raised in a household with traditional Christian values and still feels “uncomfortable” about her sexuality sometimes but admitted that it took her mother and father “a lot of unlearning” when she came out to them.
She told Rolling Stone: “It took a lot of unlearning, and there’s still things I’m still confused about, and [it’s] why I feel so uncomfortable being gay sometimes. I don’t get why this is such an issue for me. It shouldn’t be, but something’s just going on and I need to just accept that..”
The ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ hitmaker also noted that she was “scared of flamboyantly gay people” because of her religious upbringing.
She said: “I was scared of flamboyantly gay people because I was taught that.
“[I realised] people hate flamboyantly gay people because it exudes femininity, and people hate women. Just little things like that that you’re like, ‘Oh, my God, this is so f*****.'”
Chappell spent a long time trying to move away from that mindset. However, she still has moments of confusion.
The singer explained: “It took a lot of unlearning, and there’s still things I’m still confused about, and [it’s] why I feel so uncomfortable being gay sometimes. I don’t get why this is such an issue for me. It shouldn’t be, but something’s just going on and I need to just accept that.”
Chappell has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years, and the singer is thrilled that she’s managed to achieve so much success without compromising her values.
Chappell actually feels proud that she’s proven so many records labels wrong by becoming a big name in the music industry.
The singer – who released a series of songs independently in 2022 – said: “It feels so good to prove them wrong because they weren’t just a little wrong. They were really, really, really wrong.
“To know that my gut instinct was right is the best feeling in the world. Purposeful revenge does not feel good, but revenge by accident feels awesome.”

Beyonce ‘focusing on health’ and ‘eating clean’

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce is focusing on her “health” and “eating clean”.
The 43-year-old pop superstar has revealed she’s been trying her best to stay healthy this summer and has overhauled her diet – revealing she’s given up all meat except for turkey – and is making sure she takes all her supplements and works out when she can.
She told GQ magazine: “I’ve been trying to focus on my health, taking my supplements, and eating very clean. I’ve given up meat, except for turkey, this summer. I’m trying to muster the strength to work out, but I just can’t do it today. Maybe tomorrow … ”
Beyonce has dabbled with veganism in the past, but has insisted she tends to switch her diet up regularly rather than sticking to one thing.
Back in 2015, she talked to the New York Times about taking part in a 22 Day vegan challenge. She explained: “At first it’s the little things I noticed: I had more energy … The benefits of a plant-based diet need to be known. We should spend more time loving ourselves, which means taking better care of ourselves with good nutrition and making healthier food choices …
“[I had] a noticeable glow to my skin without having to deprive myself of carbs. I even slept better.”
In the new interview with GQ, the singer – who is promoting her new drinks brand SirDavis whisky – went on to talk about her worries about current technology including artificial intelligence and the struggle to keep her three young children safe online.
She added: “We live in a world of access. We have access to so much information – some facts, and some complete b******* disguised as truth.
“Our children can FaceTime and see their friends at any given moment. My husband and I? We used calling cards and Skype when we were falling in love. I couldn’t afford the international hotel bills, so I literally would get international calling cards to call him.
“Just recently, I heard an AI song that sounded so much like me it scared me. It’s impossible to truly know what’s real and what’s not.”

Prince Harry reveals the ‘best gift’ he has ever been given ahead of his 40th birthday

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry’s children are the “best gift” he has ever been given.
The Duke of Sussex – who is married to former actress Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and has Prince Archie, five, as well as three-year-old Princess Lilibet with her – will celebrate his 40th birthday on Sunday (15.09.24) but revealed that nothing could please him more than getting to watch his children grow up.
He told People: “The best gift I’ve ever been given is, without a doubt, my kids. I enjoy watching them grow every single day, and I love being their dad.”
Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan in 2018 but they relinquished royal duties in early 2020 in favour of a life in LA.
It was recently reported that he is set to inherit £8 million from the late Queen Mother – who died in 2002 at the age of 101 – upon his birthday.
When he was 10, Harry’s great-grandmother, who was then 94, apparently put aside a tax-free £19 million to leave to her great-grandchildren, according to The Times.
It is thought that the inheritances were divided into two installments – one to be given to Harry and his brother William, 42, when they turned 21, and another on their 40th birthdays.
A former palace aide told The Times: “There was a trust fund set up at the time.
It was a way in which the Queen Mother could set aside money for when her great-grandchildren were older and a way of passing a slice of her estate down in a tax-efficient way.
“It was a way in which some of her estate could be ring-fenced for them.”
William became Duke of Cornwall when he was made Prince of Wales after King Charles’ coronation following the death of Queen Elizabeth in September 2022, and is estimated to have received a £23.6 million fortune by inheriting the estate.”

Donald Trump hints Taylor Swift will lose fans after she endorsed Kamala Harris for US President

OHMYGOSSIP — Donald Trump has suggested that Taylor Swift will lose fans after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in the US presidential election.
The 78-year-old Republican is hoping to win his place in The White House again in the November election but after pop megastar Taylor, 34, endorsed his Democrat rival Kamala in the run-up to voting season, insisted that she “couldn’t possibly” have supported former candidate Joe Biden but will “pay a price” for her opinions within the marketplace.
Speaking during a phone-in to ‘Fox and Friends’, he said: “I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time. She couldn’t possibly endorse Biden.
“You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse it.
“But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”
Taylor is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but the businessman insisted that he much prefers Brittany Mahomes, 29, whose husband Patrick Mahomes plays as quarterback for the same team and aligns more with his beliefs.
He added: “But no, I like Brittany. I think Brittany’s great Brittany got a lot of news last week. She’s a big she’s a big MAGA fan. That’s the one I like much better than Taylor Swift, right?”
His comments come just hours after Taylor weighed in on the election following the Trump vs Harris debate that took place on Tuesday (10.09.24) night, where she encouraged her fans to do their research and vote as they see fit but made her support for the Democrats crystal clear.
She wrote on Instagram: “Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most.
“As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”
She went on to comment on the use of AI technology to mock up fake images showing her endorsing Trump, which he shared on his own social media accounts.
Taylor wrote: “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation.
“It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.
“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered!
“I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I’ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.”
She signed the note: “With love and hope, Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady.”

Catherine O’Hara is ‘so grateful’ she grew up without the internet

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine O’Hara is “so grateful” that she grew up without the internet.
The 70-year-old actress began her career on the stage in the early 1970s and has become known for her screen roles in ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Schitt’s Creek’ but admitted that she couldn’t have really honed her craft in the way she would have liked had she been worrying about others what may think of her on social media.
She told Stylist magazine: “I’m so grateful I learned to do what I’m still trying to do in a world without the internet. I started in a theatre where we improvised every night and it was for that audience only.
“Pre-internet, it was so much easier to try things and not have them critiqued or put down. It allowed you to fail and you have to fail and not be afraid of getting things wrong. If you worry about being judged by strangers, it stifles you. “Even if you do it subconsciously, you are restraining yourself because you’re aware of the reaction you might get. “That’s so sad. I’m glad I got to fail over and over and to keep trying new things.”
The ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ star has also naturally faced rejection as an actress throughout her illustrious career but learned to deal with it by accepting that she has “no power” in changing anything when things don’t necessarily go her way.
She said: “If you try for something and don’t get it, you don’t have any power in changing that fact. So you can wallow in your sorrow, which of course I’ve done, but it’s so much more satisfying if you can acknowledge that you have no power in it, if you can believe it just was not meant for you.”

Lucy Hale would not have achieved sobriety without the ‘love and support’ of others

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Hale would not have achieved sobriety without the “love and support” of others.
The 35-year-old actress decided to give up alcohol for good in January 2022 and more than two-and-a-half years later will be will be honoured with the Humanitarian Award for her work with the non-profit residential substance abuse recovery programme Friendly House but insisted that things would look “very different” if she had attempted to do it alone.
She said: “This award means so much more to me than my own sobriety and journey. It represents the strength and vulnerability of everyone who has walked a similar path.
“I know that without the love, support, and resources I’ve had on my own journey that my life would look very different today. Every single woman and person deserves those same experiences.”
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star explained that she has improved her life “one baby step at a time” and believes in regular exercise as well as plenty of sleep to maintain a healthy state of mind.
She said: “Through grace, compassion, self-forgiveness and commitment, I have been able to turn my life around. … There is a new life on the other side of choosing yourself one baby step at a time.
“Prayer and meditation bookend my days and I do digital detoxes, energy sessions, talk therapy, connect with like-minded people, and don’t take life so seriously.
“I’m a believer in mind, body and spirit. … I try to get some sort of movement every day, but I really listen to my body and what it needs. If I’m not feeling it that day, I won’t do it. I love hiking, pilates, yoga, and strength training and mix up my workouts so I don’t get bored. I have three nourishing meals a day — no compromising, drink lots of water, and get eight hours minimum of sleep.”

Simon Baker sentenced for DUI

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Baker has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, but avoided a conviction.
The ‘Mentalist’ actor was arrested in the early hours of the morning of 20 July after police spotted his car driving erratically in the Byron Bay area of Australia where he lives, and he appeared at Mullumbimby Local Court for sentencing on Wednesday (11.09.24), a week after pleading guilty to charge of driving with a blood-alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
According to local news reports, Magistrate Kathy Crittenden noted the 55-year-old star was “extremely remorseful” for his actions and unlikely to drive after drinking again as she released him on a nine-month good behaviour bond. Magistrates in the country have discretion not to record a conviction against first-time offenders.
She told the court she had received four character references about Simon’s contributions to the community, his remorse, and his actions being out of character.
She said: “The court has little difficulty in finding that Mr Baker is remorseful for his offending and it is unlikely he will offend again,
The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actor was arrested during the worldwide Microsoft outage, which meant police systems were offline and a breath test couldn’t be completed.
The magistrate said: “Ordinarily police would’ve proceeded with a breath analysis but they had to use the old-fashioned sobriety test.”
Cops observed the actor was unsteady on his feet and smelt of alcohol, and he admitted he had consumed four glasses of wine at a dinner from 6am.
The magistrate said: “(Mr. Baker) was very polite and co-operative … extremely remorseful for his actions.”
Simon had since completed a traffic offenders’ rehabilitation programme.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, sought safety in book stores

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex found “safety” in bookstores when she felt “uncomfortable” with royal life.
The former actress – who relocated back to the US with husband Prince Harry after stepping down as working royals in January 2020 – recalled “sneaking” to New York to watch her friend Serena Williams play in the US Open back in 2019, and admitted that on the trip, she also sought solace in a shop where she knew she would go unrecognised.
Speaking at the opening of new bookstore Godmothers over the weekend, Town + Country magazine reported Meghan said: “For me, sneaking to New York five years ago was a really big deal.
“I was still so uncomfortable being out in the world.
“The safety of what I was craving, I knew I could find in a bookstore.”
She went on to thank the store’s founders, Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and Victoria Jackson, for “not just creating the space, but for holding the space for so many people to feel seen through the pages, either in laughter, in grief, in feeling less alone.
The duchess attended the opening with her husband, Prince Harry but they had to make a swift exit to look after their children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
The outlet reports she told guests after the speeches: “Wasn’t that incredible? I’ve got to make dinner for the kids.”
The name of the store was inspired by Harry, who at a Beverly Hills party for his memoir, ‘Spare’, described the founders and their friend Oprah Winfrey his “fairy godmothers” as he thanked them for their support.
And as the plans for the store took shape, the media mogul told her pals: “There’s really only one thing you can name it: Godmothers.”
The prince’s tome was on prominent display at the opening, and he is said to have silently pointed to it when asked if he had a book recommendation.
The founders were delighted to have the royal couple in attendance for the opening.
Victoria said: “Seeing them be able to come here and be in a safe space, it’s what we want it to be.
“Their support, and the light that it will shine on Godmothers, is pretty extraordinary.”
