OHMYGOSSIP — Cher is set to headline the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The 78-year-old music icon is poised to perform at the upcoming fashion show – which is returning after a four-year absence – for the world-famous lingerie brand.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Victoria’s Secret said: “It’s a woman’s world, so it’s understood that you can’t have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself—@Cher! We’re beyond excited to announce she will officially be performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024. But she won’t be alone…stay tuned, more announcements are coming to round out our first-ever, all-women lineup. #VSFashionShow (sic)”
The star-studded fashion event will be staged in Brooklyn, New York, on October 15, and will feature appearances from the likes of Gigi Hadid, Tyra Banks, and Paloma Elsesser.
Previous editions of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show have featured musical performances from big-name stars such as Rita Ora, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd.
The event was actually cancelled in 2019 following poor TV ratings and criticism of the concept – but earlier this year, Victoria’s Secret announced plans to revive the show, suggesting that it had adjusted the event after listening to public feedback.

OHMYGOSSIP — JoJo wrote her new memoir in a bid to “make sense” of her music career.
The 33-year-old singer released her debut single, ‘Leave (Get Out)’, back in 2004, and her new memoir reflects on the ups and downs she’s experienced in the music business.
Jojo – whose real name is Joanna Levesque – told Access Hollywood: “This year is 20 years since I started in the music industry.
“I put out my first single at 13, and with that big milestone coming up, I wanted to start to make sense of what the hell has been happening in my life.”
The pop star battled depression and anxiety for years, following her initial success in the music business.
Jojo is now keen to share her story with her fans.
The singer – who has just released ‘Over the Influence: A Memoir’ – said: “I spent so much time being so confused and struggling with depression and anxiety and just really feeling so lost and alone for a lot of my life – mostly in my teens and 20s.
“I wanted to start putting it on paper and seeing if, first of all, I could understand myself and my life a little bit more, and if there might be things that I could share with other people – particularly younger people who might be interested in the music industry or want to get involved, and not deal with some of the things that dealt with professionally and personally.”
Jojo feels that her memoir is ultimately a “redemption” story.
She said: “I’m excited for the conversations that I hope will be sparked from my fans and my community reading this book, and also people outside of it.
“I hope that people who don’t know who I am, don’t care about me, read this as well. [It’s] a story about redemption and about pivoting, and about, ‘You think your life is over?’ Or, ‘you think this is the worst thing in the world?’ It’s not over until you give up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has pleaded not guilty to allegations of sex trafficking.
The 54-year-old rap star appeared in a court in Manhattan on Tuesday (17.09.24) after being charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Asked during a court hearing how he pleaded to the charges, Combs replied: “Not guilty.”
The hip-hop mogul’s lawyers subsequently requested that Combs be freed on bond, pending trial, after paying a sum of $50 million.
However, following a a lengthy debate between legal teams on whether Combs represents a flight risk, Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky announced that the rap star will remain in detention until his sex trafficking trial begins.
Combs was arrested at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, New York, on Monday.
The accusations he’s facing were later made public.
An indictment reads: “For decades, SEAN COMBS, a/k/a ‘Puff Daddy,’ a/k/a ‘P Diddy,’ a/k/a ‘Diddy,’ a/k/a ‘PD,’ a/k/a ‘Love,’ the defendant, abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct (sic)”
According to the indictment, Combs’ alleged crimes “relied on employees, resources, and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled – creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice (sic)”
Damian Williams, the US attorney for the southern district of New York, also alleged during a press conference that the rapper maintained control over his victims by “giving them drugs, by giving and threatening to take away financial support or housing, by promising them career opportunities, by monitoring their whereabouts, and even by dictating their physical appearance”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Kelce would love to appear on Taylor Swift’s next album – but he doesn’t think she needs his help.
The 36-year-old former sports star is the older brother of Travis Kelce, Taylor’s boyfriend, and Jason has now admitted that he’d jump at the chance to feature on the Grammy-winning star’s next album.
Asked about the possibility of working with Taylor on her next project, Jason told Sports Illustrated: “I will do whatever Tay wants.
“She can have that anytime she wants. But I think she’s doing just fine on her own.”
Jason – who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year – added that Taylor, 34, should just “keep doing what she’s doing”.

The 42-year-old prince took to social media to voice his support for Aston Villa, prior to their 3-0 victory over the Swiss side Young Boys on Tuesday (17.09.24).

The 40-year-old star has played Kayce Dutton on the hit drama series since 2018, and Luke has praised Taylor Sheridan – the show’s co-creator – for developing the perfect send-off.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Luke shared: “I read the last episode the day before we started filming. I couldn’t be happier. I think it’s a perfect ending for the show for every character.
“It’s just a testament to what a good writer Taylor is, and it’s a very, very profound, beautiful ending. I can’t wait to sit down and watch it one day.”
Luke also revealed that the final episodes saw him work more with Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton on the show.
Luke teased: “You do get to see a lot more interaction between Kayce and Beth.

What’s more, Luke admitted that there was a “summer camp blues feeling” towards filming the final season.

OHMYGOSSIP — JoJo always assumed she was too “strong” to struggle with addiction.
The 33-year-old pop star abused alcohol and substances as a young adult, after her parents – her mom Diana and her late father Joel – both struggled with addiction for many years.
Speaking to PEOPLE, JoJo explained: “For a while, I was super self-righteous and thought I’d never be like my parents. I was like, ‘No, because I’m the strongest. I’m wicked strong.’
“But then I was like, ‘Oh, what I’m doing is no better or worse. I’m my parents’ child, and I need to be awake to what’s happening within myself.'”
JoJo – whose real name is Joanna Levesque – now has a huge amount of admiration for her mom, describing her as a “beautiful person”.

That ‘What Was I Made For?’ singer and her brother Finneas O’Connell have urged their followers to register and vote early in the upcoming presidential election and argued people’s lives “depend on” the current vice president triumphing over Donald Trump in the upcoming poll.
The duo shared a video on Instagram which was captioned: “It’s National Voter Registration Day. We are voting for Harris-Walz. The choice is clear. Check your voting status here: iwillvote.com”
In the video, the pair explained their choice.

The 54-year-old rap mogul was arrested earlier this week then charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution, and during his arraignment hearing on Tuesday (17.09.24) – at which he pleaded not guilty – his lawyer revealed the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker is currently receiving help, though declined to explain what for due to confidentiality.
Attorney Marc Agnifilo told the court his client is in “treatment and therapy for things that most respectfully he needs treatment and therapy for and he’s getting that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine, Princess of Wales has returned to work for the first time since completing her chemotherapy treatment.
According to an entry in the Court Circular, published in The Telegraph, the 42-year-old royal attended a meeting at Windsor Castle for her early years project on Tuesday (17.09.24) – marking her official return to work since stepping back to focus on her health after being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

The 55-year-old singer announced last month that her mom Patricia and sibling Alison had passed away on the same day, and the ‘Masked Singer’ host says the ‘Hero’ hitmaker is “doing the best that she possibly can” at this difficult time and is enjoying spending time with the former couple’s 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe as she is supported by those closest to her.
Nick, 43, told The New York Post’s Page Six column: “She’s doing the best that she possibly can, considering the circumstances.
“But as a family, we just got to be there to support one another, show love.”
He added: “She’s really having a great time with the kids.

The ‘We Belong Together’ singer previously said she was “heartbroken” following the death of her 87-year-old mother and admitted 63-year-old Alison’s passing had made the situation even more “tragic”.
She told People magazine: “My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day. I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed.
“I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”
Patricia – who divorced the late Alfred Roy Carey in 1973 – was an opera singer and vocal coach before giving birth to her first child, whilst Alison endured some personal struggles including homelessness throughout her life and was estranged from her superstar sibling for a number of years.
Alison had been in hospice care prior to her death and had been hoping to reconcile with her sister before the tragic end to her life.
Her friend David Baker told DailyMail.com: “I know it was her dying wish if she could’ve at least had a conversation with Mariah … ”
Meanwhile, Mariah has previously opened up about the complicated relationship she had with her mother and described it all as a “rainbow of emotions” in her memoir.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional Gleb Savchenko has sent his “love and positivity” to Artem Chigvintsev following his arrest and divorce.
As the new season of the hit dance show got underway on Tuesday (17.09.24), the 41-year-old dancer had a message of support for his friend and former colleague, after his wife Nikki Garcia, 40, filed for divorce from him and he was arrested for domestic violence.
He told ‘E! News’: “He’s part of the family.
“He’s such a great dancer that people don’t realize. He’s the quality. It’s not about quantity, it’s about the quality.”
Without alluding to the 42-year-old star’s personal woes, Gleb said: “He’s just my brother and I send him love and positivity.”
Both Artem and Nikki listed the reason for their split as “irreconcilable differences” and confirmed their date of separation as 29 August, the day of his arrest.
Artem was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant.
Audio of a 911 call obtained by TMZ featured a dispatcher saying the dancer had alleged his spouse had thrown her shoes at him.
The clip featured the dispatcher saying Artem’s call “initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party].
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route.
“There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
But he then stated he no longer needed medical assistance, with the dispatcher confirming: “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
Artem was released later in the day on $25,000 bond.
The pair met on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in 2017 but didn’t start dating until the following year, after the retired wrestler had split from John Cena.
The pair – who have four-year-old son Matteo together – got engaged in January 2020 and married in Paris in August 2022.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had a proposal to avoid jail with a $50 million bond denied.
The 54-year-old rap mogul was remanded in custody to await trial after pleading not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution during a court hearing on Tuesday (17.09.24), and it has been revealed he had submitted a request to New York judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky that would allow him to retain his freedom.
The letter, obtained by E! News, offered a proposed package that would allow the disgraced rapper to “fight this case in Court effectively”, and included the $50 million bond, which was co-signed by his family, including mother Janice Combs, sister Keisha Combs and three of his sons, several of whom had surrendered their own passports when the Bad Boy Records founder’s homes were raided in March.
The proposal offered equity in Diddy’s Miami home, as well as his mother’s, and limited his travel to within certain areas of Florida, New York and New Jersey.
As well as making a proposal for bond, the letter – which was signed by Diddy’s lawyers, Marc Agnfilo and Teny R. Geragos – also sought to “walk the Court through a series of actions taken by Mr. Combs over the past six months that prove that he is not a risk of flight or a danger to anyone in the community.”
It stated: “These actions prove that Mr. Combs is eminently trustworthy, that he is demonstrably committed to showing his innocence in Court in the context of this case, and that he should be released, on the conditions proposed, in order to do so…
“When it became apparent to his counsel that Mr. Combs would at some point soon be formally charged, he did something extraordinary: He left his home in Miami and travelled to New York, the very location of the prosecutors and agents investigating him.”
However, NBC News reported prosecutors requested in a memo that the ‘Finna Get Loose’ hitmaker remain in jail until his trial, with US Attorney Damian Williams branding him a flight risk who “poses a significant danger to the community” and arguing his “disposition to violence cannot be reasonably prevented through bail conditions.”
The judge denied Diddy’s request, citing among other reasons his substance abuse and anger issues.
The next hearing in the case will take place on 25 September, and Diddy has vowed to fight the allegations.
His lawyer told reporters outside the court in Manhattan: “He’s going to fight this. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence.
“We believe in him wholeheartedly. He didn’t do these things. There’s no coercion and no crime.”
