Michael Madsen files restraining order against estranged wife

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Madsen has filed a temporary domestic violence prevention restraining order against his estranged wife DeAnna.
The 66-year-old ‘Kill Bill’ actor – who filed for divorce from his wife of 28 years earlier this week – is asking a judge to keep DeAnna, 64, away from him and their son Luke, 18, who is listed in the filing under “other protected people”.
The couple also share son Calvin, 27, together, while their 26-year-old son Hudson took his own life in January 2022.
In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Michael alleged his wife’s “neglect, drinking and alcoholism,” contributed to Hudson’s death.
He added: “Respondent also significantly contributed to my personal issues as well. I am a victim in an abusive, co-dependent, and toxic relationship that culminated in the Respondent breaking into my residence and having me wrongfully arrested for DV.”
In August, Michael was arrested under California Penal Code section 243(e)(1), which is battery of a spouse, but the case was thrown out less than two weeks later due to insufficient evidence.
Perry Wander, Madsen’s longtime attorney, told The Hollywood Reporter at the time that DeAnna “broke into” Madsen’s Malibu home.
Wander added: “He confronted her and asked her to leave… it has been an ongoing problem.
“Michael has shown immense compassion and restraint during this period towards his estranged wife. He’s definitely not guilty of domestic violence.”
DeAnna Madsen told THR: “Michael is struggling with his own personal issues. Myself and our children have been supporting him to the best of our ability. We would request privacy at this time.”
The pair separated after Hudson’s death.

Musical tributes during the funeral service included a singer performing the Italian classic known as ‘Volare’, a duet of Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, and a reworked personalised version of Sir Elton John’s ‘Candle in the Wind’ sung by Charlotta och Johan Birgersson.
Towards the end of the service, family and closest friends gathered by the coffin to say their final goodbyes, and after they returned to their seats, his body was carried out, with the casket and procession of clergy, family, and invited guests met by a guard of honour formed by Torsby’s sports club.
The hearse was then making its way to Kollsbergs rural community museum for eulogies and tributes.

James McAvoy had ‘rough’ first meeting with Jennifer Aniston

OHMYGOSSIP — James McAvoy had a “rough” first meeting with Jennifer Aniston.
The 45-year-old ‘Wanted’ star has revealed he found himself in the company of the ‘Friends’ actress at a showbiz party shortly after he first moved to Los Angeles when he was in his 20s and he made a fool of himself because he was so star-struck.
During an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’, James said: “I did meet her and it wasn’t great … [Not] because she’s not great.”
James went on to explain: “I was at a party when I was really young. I was like 22 in LA. And I met Lucy Liu and Lucy Liu was really, really nice to me.
“She was like, ‘Come meet my friends.’ There was a big circle of her friends and one of them happened to be Jennifer Aniston, and I got parked right beside Jennifer Aniston.
“And just as [Liu] was like, ‘Hey guys, meet my new friend James’ … instead of saying that, she got pulled aside by a guy she went to high school with and she went away. I was just left standing with all these people going, ‘Hey, what’s up, I’m new in town’.”
James then turned to Jennifer and said: “So you’re Jennifer Aniston and you’re in ‘Friends’.”
He added: “It was rough. But she was lovely.”
The revelation comes after James opened up about his early life and revealed he isn’t afraid of failing because of his beloved grandmother.
The actor spent a lot of time with his granny as a child and lived with her for a time after his parents’ divorce – and he believes she gave him the tools to survive the tough side of working in the entertainment industry.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m really lucky in a lot of ways, mainly that my granny’s all over me. I’ve definitely got a large dose of what she has …
“She doesn’t really give a f*** about what anybody thinks of her. So it liberates her. I’m definitely capable of being embarrassed, but I don’t feel embarrassed about being masculine enough, I don’t feel embarrassed about getting it wrong, or not being clued-up, not knowing something that other people know.”

Sylvester Stallone explains drive behind success in new memoir

OHMYGOSSIP — Sylvester Stallone’s memoir will document how he went from “most likely to end up in the electric chair” to a movie legend.
The 78-year-old actor is working on a book with a “brilliant” co-writer and he’s planning to go into detail about the drive that made him a Hollywood action hero after being written off at school.
Asked if he’s writing a memoir, he told TMZ: “Well you are psychic, my God.
“Yes I am working right now on a novel with a co-writer, whose brilliant, we’re chronicling how this all happened.
“I was least likely, I was voted most likely to end up in the electric chair at school, I shouldn’t be here kind of thing.”
The ‘Tulsa King’ actor recalled how a trip to New York during Woodstock made him realise he needed to do something with his life and gave him the push he needed to move forward as there were so many people around him but he was the only one concerned about his own fate.
He said: “When I arrived in New York it was the day of Woodstock and I was like what is that? The truth is, I walked around, I didn’t know one person, there’s eight million [there] and I was sort of afraid, there’s not one person here who cares a thing about you or ever will so you better do something to survive, go at it because you have zero support team.
“From that moment on, I realised you have to rely very much upon yourself and that hasn’t stopped. My biggest fear has turned out to be my biggest successes, trying to overcome them.
“But when I stepped out of that bus station and realised ‘God there’s not one who cares what happens to me so you better care about yourself’, that was the beginning of this pursuit.”

Ewan McGregor honoured by Hayden Christensen at Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

OHMYGOSSIP — Ewan McGregor was praised as “the best Jedi Master” as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Scottish actor received the honour on Thursday (12.09.24) and was joined by his ‘Star Wars’ co-star Hayden Christensen – who played Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader in the prequel movies and recent spin-off series ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ and ‘Ahsoka’ – who paid a touching tribute to his “brother” for his kind and generous nature.
Recalling their first meeting on the set of ‘Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones’ in Australia in 2002, Hayden said: “I walk into this room where I’m told Ewan is going to be, and before I can even put eyes on him, I hear his voice. And he exclaims my name with more enthusiasm than I think I’d ever heard it spoken with before.
“I turn and I see him, and then he’s coming at me, and he just gives me the biggest hug. Like, just the most disarmingly warm embrace.
“He’s just beyond kind to me, and it was immediately apparent to me that I was meeting someone truly special. Not just as an actor, but as a person, and that I was meeting a friend.”
Ewan – who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi in the franchise – then laughed as Hayden said: “A friend who would later go on to chop off both my legs and leave me for dead on the side of a volcano, but I guess I kind of had that coming.”
The Canadian star expressed his belief that seeing Ewan, 53, as Obi-Wan over the years had been a “masterclass in great acting”.
He added: “To watch him embody this character, it’s like watching magic. And the best kind of magic — not the kind that involves any like trickery or sleight of hand, but the kind that really makes you believe in something bigger. Because he wasn’t just playing Obi-Wan, he was Obi-Wan. I mean, he is Obi Wan. And I really hope we get more Obi-Wan, because this man is just ‘Star Wars’ gold…
“So, my friend Ewan, I want to thank you for being the best Jedi Master that anyone could have ever hoped for. You always had my back and I thank you for that. I’m just so happy to get to be here with you right now. It’s been an honour and a thrill to get to work with you, and swing a lightsaber with you, and more than all of it, call you my friend. I love you, brother.”
Ewan – who was joined at the ceremony by wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead, their three-year-old son Laurie, and Clara, 28,Jamyan, 22 and Anouk, 13, three of his daughters from his first marriage – praised Hayden in his own speech.
He said: “We’ve grown up in this crazy world together over these last however many years — it’s been too many, 20, 30 years, and I love you so much.”
The ‘Trainspotting’ actor – whose other daughter, 22-year-old Esther was absent due to her own filming commitments – felt particularly “moved” that his star is just feet away from late ‘Star Wars’ icon Carrie Fisher’s own spot.
He said: “I’m so moved that I’m close to my old friend Carrie Fisher, on the pavement here.
“That means a great deal to me too.”

Jennie Garth reveals failed IVF attempts led to brief split from husband Dave Abrams

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennie Garth has admitted her failed IVF attempts put a strain on her marriage to Dave Abrams.
The 52-year-old actress – who has Luca Bella, 27, Lola Ray, 21, and Fiona Eve, 17, with ex-husband Peter Facinelli – briefly split from her spouse in 2018 after struggling with fertility issues, but they rekindled their relationship after they accepted they weren’t going to have children together.
She told Self magazine in a video interview to accompany her cover story: “Before we broke up, we had been undergoing IVF treatments and trying to have a baby and it kept failing.
“And that was really, really hard on both of us individually and on our relationship.
“When we decided to let go of that possibility [of having children together], it sort of freed us up to love each other in a different way.”
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star also spoke about the ordeal of undergoing two hip replacements.
She told the magazine: “When they took a look to see what was going on, they realised it had somehow gotten worse than my left hip ever was.
“I felt excruciating pain with every step — I’d be unable to get down on the ground or get back up. Given the success of my brand-new hip, I knew it was a no-brainer: I needed to get the other joint operated on.”
Jennie opening up about her split from Dave comes after she recently admitted she and Peter – who were married from 2001 to 2013 – were struggling to manage parenting their brood before they reunited on her ‘I Choose Me’ podcast earlier this year.
She told Us Weekly: “From the beginning, I thought in the back of my head, like a conversation with Peter when I got the strength to go forward with it, you know, follow through with it.
“It happened so easily. I was nervous to ask him honestly because … it hasn’t been the easiest for us, and we have been really putting up a good face for the world.
“It’s been very difficult. We wanted to finally tell the truth and let people know that this evolution could happen for us, and it [is a] situation many people … [are dealing with].”
The former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant had noted that her children are “happy” and that it felt like a “weight” had been lifted off her shoulders after they sorted out their differences.
She told People: “The girls are so happy and there’s just a big weight off my shoulders. That’s a conflict I don’t need to carry anymore!”
Jennie had told listeners of her podcast of her joy that her ex-spouse had unblocked her on social media and declared that they were “officially friends” more than a decade after they split up.
She said: “I want to share with you guys something really quickly. The good that has come from this pod … but specifically the episode with my ex Peter. “Guys, we are officially friends now.
“I’ve been blocked on his socials for so long that I stopped caring years ago. But I’m unblocked now. That’s big news.”

Gemma Arterton welcomes a ‘change of leadership in Hollywood’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Arterton is “open” to returning to Hollywood.
The 38-year-old actress previously distanced herself from the American film business, but Gemma is now open-minded about a possible return to Hollywood, following the impact of the #MeToo movement.
Gemma – who is married to actor Rory Keenan – told The Times newspaper: “We’ve had a change of leadership in Hollywood.
“I’d feel happier being there and working on those big-budget movies. And since #MeToo, I did a blockbuster-type movie in ‘The King’s Man’ and I had a positive experience, so now I’m open to that world.
“My husband and I are a bit enamoured by New York.”
Gemma starred in the 2008 James Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace’, and although she had a good experience on the movie, she struggled to cope with “the aftermath”.
The actress explained: “I just had no idea how huge they were and how much it would follow me around, and that’s frustrating for me because I’ve done so much since.”
Meanwhile, Gemma recently revealed that she argued with a Hollywood director after they asked her to film an unplanned sex scene.
Speaking to Radio Times magazine, Gemma explained: “I remember being on a set once and the director said, ‘You’re going to s*** on the bed’.
“And I said, ‘No, this scene was written for us to be off screen, so you just hear the noises. I’d never have accepted the role if it was going to be filmed.’
“He put pressure on us on the day. The other actor, God bless him, was mortified. There were very high-profile people there.”
Gemma – who didn’t name the director or the film – ultimately refused to shoot the scene.
She recalled: “I said, ‘You can’t do that, I’m flat out not doing it. I don’t care if you think I’m difficult’, but I only felt like I could say that because I was older.”

Usher tells new dad Justin Bieber to ‘savour the magic moments’ with newborn son

OHMYGOSSIP — Usher has told Justin Bieber to “savour” the “magic moments” of his baby boy’s first few months.
The 30-year-old pop superstar’s model wife Hailey Bieber, 27, gave birth to their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, last month, and the ‘Yeah!’ hitmaker – who signed Justin to his record label Raymond Braun Media Group in 2008 – has offered some advice to the new dad.
Usher – who has four children – told E!: “Just love and enjoy this moment, savour these moments.
“Between the first and the third months, these are the magic moments.”
Usher sharing his tips for Justin as he embarks on his new chapter as a father comes after he recently recalled being at “war” with Justin Timberlake over signing the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker.
The 45-year-old singer revealed he and Justin, 43, both wanted to do a deal with Internet viral sensation in the early-2000s.
Usher told People: “When you are at the top of your game, some of the greatest things will be presented to you, and it was, I think, right after (my album) ‘Confessions’ that I was introduced to Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun (who became Justin’s manager.)
“I presented Scooter an offer that I felt like he couldn’t resist. We built a friendship, but this would obviously create a partnership that would span us forever, and it was a bit of a bidding war between me and Justin Timberlake.”
Usher’s label with Scooter Braun ended up victorious.
He added: “I was like, ‘I’m not certain that I could understand each and every producer that this artist could benefit from, but what I can tell you is, I’m going to give you my passion, and I’m going to give you every bit of what I have to offer.’”
Usher is adamant there is no bitterness between him and Justin, insisting he has “always wanted to do a record” with the former *NSYNC singer.
He added: “I have reached out many times, but we’ve never managed to make it happen.
“I am motivated by people like Justin. I think that he is an amazing performer, and I think that he has a legacy that should be respected and not compared to anybody else.”

Jude Law ‘wanted to be taken seriously’ as a young actor

OHMYGOSSIP — Jude Law was determined to be “taken seriously” as a young actor.
The 51-year-old star received a lot of attention for his good looks and high-profile romances during his younger years – but Jude always wanted people to recognise his acting talents.
Jude – who was married to actress Sadie Frost between 1997 and 2003 – told the Guardian newspaper: “In my 20s, I was very conscious of wanting to be taken seriously and play a variety of dramatic roles, so not to be simply cast in the sort of good-looking roles. I played it out in my own head with a lot of agitation and drama.
“As you get older and you’re no longer cast in those roles, you think: ‘What was I thinking?’ I suppose I can understand a 22-year-old wanting a healthy, broad career. The good aspect of getting into middle age is that your characters can carry a little more complexity.”
Now, Jude is actually enjoying his acting work more than ever.
The London-born star – who played Dickie Greenleaf in ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’, the 1999 psychological thriller film – explained: “I have a great sense of who I am, what I’ve done and what I hope to do.
“I like to think I’ve always been picky. The interesting thing about getting older is that you could play characters similar to those you’ve played in the past, but they’re now in their 50s.
“I like the idea of playing Dickie Greenleaf now he’s in his 50s, had he survived in Ripley. What would that type of playboy guy be like now? Or a rusty old gigolo robot who is 30 years older than the glossy new one.
“But really it’s always about curiosity and looking for fresh ground.”

Lady Gaga had ‘no ego’ while shooting ‘Joker: Foile À Deux’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga had “no ego” while shooting ‘Joker: Foile À Deux’.
The Oscar-winner, 38, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, plays Lee in the ‘Joker’ follow up alongside Joaquin Phoenix as the titular villain, with her character a version of Harley Quinn.
Joaquin, 49, has now told in a behind-the-scenes featurette film put out ahead of the ‘Joker’ sequel’s cinema release: “I found (Gaga) to be without ego and had such a fierce determination. She would get right in with us.
“She understood that there had to be a rawness to the character. There’s not a lot of actors that are comfortable working in that way.”
‘A Star is Born’ actress Gaga adds in the film about making the ‘Joker’ follow-up: “It was a very special experience. I had never seen a world created like that before.”
“It brought out all of that rough and tough energy and how big these dreams were, and how far they would fall.”
‘Folie À Deux’ had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on 4 September 4, with Gaga, Joaquin and its director Todd Phillips, 53, all in attendance.
He gushed about Gaga: “She easily slipped into that world. It’s not like she’s trying to be Harley Quinn from the comic books; she’s Lee in this world.”
A synopsis for the ‘Joker’ sequel says: “‘Joker: Folie À Deux’ finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker.
“While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.”
The film also stars Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Zazie Beetz, who reprises her role as Sophie Dumond from the 2019 original.

Liam and Noel Gallagher ‘strike deal to pocket half of comeback tour food and drink sales’

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam and Noel Gallagher are said to have struck a multi-million pound deal to pocket 50 per cent of the takings from all food and drink sold at their comeback shows.
The reunited brothers are already raking in hundreds of millions from their deal to reunite next year for a string of stadium gigs in the UK and Ireland, and are said to have lined up brand and merchandise tie-ins worth at least £50 million.
They are reportedly now set to add more millions to the fortune after apparently striking more deals to take half of the hospitality takings across their 19-date stadium and park dates in the summer of 2025.
A source told The Sun: “It is not uncommon for top acts to get half of the bar and food take.
“After all, they are the ones who got the punters into the venues in the first place. And Oasis will bring along some very thirsty fans.”
A representative for the band declined to comment, The Sun reported.
Pints of beer are likely to cost about £8 at venues such as Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Heaton Park – leaving Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, with £4 to split from every drink sold.
Tickets for their upcoming tour immediately sold out, with millions of fans registering for passes to see the band on stage for the first time since they dramatically split after a bust-up in Paris in 2009.
Standing tickets for the gigs were sold for £150, but so-called “dynamic pricing” on Ticketmaster saw many charged £355 as demand surged during the rush for tickets.
Another source has told The Sun on Sunday about how Liam and Noel are apparently set make another £50 million in extra side-deals from their reunion tour: “It’s taken 15 years to get the warring brothers back together.
“There is every chance this could be their last hurrah, so everything’s getting monetised and they want to strike while the iron is hot.
“Marketing and advertising teams aren’t missing a trick. They are capitalising their comeback and everything has pound signs attached.”

The 45-year-old singer got hitched to Jenn, 40, in February in a Las Vegas drive-thru tunnel, with their rushed ceremony officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Usher has now told the New York Post about their quick decision to say “I do”: “It was an abrupt thing. We decided at the last minute to do it.”
Usher added the fact an Elvis impersonator oversaw their marriage was a “plus”.
He added he was “very happy” to have tied the knot in Vegas, saying: “It’s probably one of the easiest ceremonies that I’ve ever experienced in my life.
“I (was able to) really enjoy this moment between me and my wife and my children and my intimate and immediate family.”
Usher also told the ‘Live With Kelly and Mark’ show about how his teen sons Usher V, 16, and Naviyd, 15, were in the backseat of his car during the drive-thru nuptials: “It was great to have immediate family there – my kids were there, my mother (Jonetta Patton) was there.
“It was wonderful. The kids had a great time.”
Photos of the singer’s wedding showed him and Jenn sitting in the front seat of a vintage convertible car with red and white flowers in the back.
Usher said: “What was already an amazing moment was peaked by a moment that I will remember forever.
“I was very happy to not only conclude my time in Las Vegas with the residency and then the Super Bowl, but to start on a new journey with my amazing wife.”
Father-of-four Usher, who also has his teen boys with his ex Tameka Foster, 53, has been dating his now-wife since 2019 – and they have daughter Sovereign Bo, three, and son Sire Castrello, two, who were both born during the Covid pandemic.

Justin Timberlake warns world not to drink and drive after sentencing in DWI case

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake has warned the world not to drink and drive.
The ‘Cry Me a River’ singer, 43, urged everyone to take a taxi home “even if you’ve had one drink” on a night out after he pleaded guilty in his DWI case – which was reduced to a traffic violation before he was sentenced on Friday. (13.09.24)
He said on Friday (13.09.24) after his punishment of a fine and community service was handed out at a Long Island courthouse: “Even if you’ve had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car.
“There are so many alternatives. You can call a friend (or) take an Uber.
“This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have.”
Father-of-two Justin, who has kids Silas, nine, and Phineas, four, with his wife Jessica Biel, 42, was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, in the early hours of 18 June after he failed to stop at a stop sign and could not stay in his lane.
He accepted a reduced level at his Friday hearing of a traffic offense and
pleaded guilty to a charge of impaired driving.
Police officers escorted him as he left his lawyer’s office and crossed a street to the courthouse as a crowd surrounded the star.
Justin stayed standing throughout the proceedings and gave a statement in which he expressed remorse for his actions.
He said: “I did not live up to the standards that I try to hold for myself.”
The singer added he was “grateful for the opportunity to move forward” and said he wanted to use his platform to help others make “better decisions”.
He said to the judge: “I should have had better judgment. I understand the seriousness of this.”
Justin will have to pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, and serve 25 hours of community service at a non-profit of his choosing.
The pop star originally pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour charge of driving while intoxicated and had his driver’s license suspended during a hearing in August.
He will still have his driver’s license suspended due to declining a breathalyser test when initially pulled over by police.
In New York, refusing to take a breathalyser leads to an automatic license suspension for a year.
Shortly after leaving The American Hotel after a night out with friends, Justin was pulled over while traveling southbound on Madison Street, a public highway in the upmarket Hamptons.
Cops had noticed Justin swerving on the road and going through a stop sign, and when they stopped him smelled alcohol on his breath and noted he was unsteady on his feet and had slowed speech and glassy eyes.
Justin was quoted telling officers that he had only “one martini” and then “followed his friends home”.

Barry Keoghan doesn’t have ‘normal father-son relationship’ with his boy Brando

OHMYGOSSIP — Barry Keoghan doesn’t have a “normal father-son relationship” with his boy Brando.
The ‘Saltburn’ actor, 31, had the youngster with his ex Alyson Kierans two years ago, and has now opened up about their unconventional bond.
He told Entertainment Weekly: “I’ll just say this – I didn’t have a father figure growing up, so even my relationship with my son isn’t quite of the normal father-son relationship because I don’t have that figure to draw experience from and to base it on.
“Love – you don’t need anything to draw from. Love is pure, and so, I’m not on about that. But I’m on about little stuff like teaching your son this or teaching your daughter that.”
Barry had previously revealed his father was absent from his life and his mother had succumbed to drug addiction when he was 12, leaving him to be raised in foster care.
He has told Vanity Fair it was “very important” to him his son is “able to grow up” and “be proud of his daddy”, and to “lean on his daddy”.
Barry also praised his ex-partner as an “incredible” mother he says has done a “great job” raising Brando.
He and Alyson dated for almost three years and had Brando in August 2022, but they confirmed they had split in January.
A month later Barry debuted his new relationship with US singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter, 25, when they attended a Grammy awards afterparty together.
They were recently at the centre of rumours they had split, but a source has told Page Six their relationship was still strong.

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake’s DWI case was “treated like any other of its kind”.
The ‘Cry Me a River’ singer, pleaded guilty at a Long Island court on Friday (13.09.24) after he faced a reduced charge of a traffic violation, with the performer taking a plea deal – then issuing an apology in court and urging people not to drink and drive.
But Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says the pop star did not get special treatment.
He told Page Six the day before Justin was set to appear in court: “He’s charged with driving while intoxicated… (then) there’s a lesser charge as driving while impaired, which happens in a number of cases.
“So we’re going to continue to negotiate the case. So we’ll see. We’ll see how it plays out in court, whether or not we could come to an agreement… we have to see.
“There are certain things that the prosecution wants [and] certain things that the defense wants, and there’s certain things that the court wants.
“So you factor all of those things in. You go to court and see if you could work them out. So we’ll see if we could work it out tomorrow.”
He added about how his office was against VIP treatment for famous faces: “The one thing that we want to make sure we’re doing is… being consistent, and we don’t want to treat any defendant better than others because of, you know, because of any perceived notoriety they may have.
“But we certainly don’t want to treat people worse for the same reason. So we’re taking pains to make sure that we’re treating this case like any other case of its kind.”
Justin will have to pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, and serve 25 hours of community service at a non-profit of his choosing.
He then begged people to never drink and drive in a statement given outside court, saying: “Even if you’ve had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car.
“There are so many alternatives. You can call a friend (or) take an Uber.
“This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have.”
