Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest police bodycam footage ‘will never be released to public’

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake’s DWI arrest police bodycam footage will reportedly never be released to the public.
The ‘Cry Me a River’ singer, 43, pleaded guilty to a traffic violation and driving while ability impaired on Friday (13.09.24), three months after he was arrested for allegedly running a stop sign and swerving between lanes in Sag Harbor, New York.
A source has now told TMZ Justin came to a mutual agreement with the Office of the Suffolk County District Attorney not to release police tape of his arrest, with the outlet saying “the parties agreed to seal it”.
It means no one will be allowed to access the footage outside of Timberlake’s legal team, police and prosecutors.
After Justin’s sentencing, he warned the world not to drink and drive.
He urged everyone to take a taxi home “even if you’ve had one drink”, adding after his case was wrapped up in a statement to reporters outside a Long Island courthouse: “There are so many alternatives. You can call a friend (or) take an Uber.
“This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever is watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have.”
Father-of-two Justin, who has kids Silas, nine, and Phineas, four, with his wife Jessica Biel, 42, was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, in the early hours of 18 June after he failed to stop at a stop sign and could not stay in his lane.
He accepted a reduced level of a traffic offense and pleaded guilty to a charge of impaired driving.
Police officers escorted him as he left his lawyer’s office and crossed a street to the courthouse as a crowd surrounded the star.
Justin stayed standing throughout the proceedings and gave a statement in which he expressed remorse for his actions.
He said: “I did not live up to the standards that I try to hold for myself.”
Justin was also ordered to pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge, and serve 25 hours of community service at a non-profit of his choosing.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky ‘set to release tribute sing to tragic pal Fatman Scoop’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky are reportedly set to release a tribute sing to their tragic friend Fatman Scoop.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer, 36, and her 35-year-old rapper partner – with whom she has sons RZA, two, and Riot, 13 months – are apparently two of a string of the late performers’ pals who have got together to make the track after the ‘Lose Control’ singer died aged 53 following his collapse on stage in front of a crowd of shocked fans.
A source told The Sun about how Rihanna apparently recorded vocals for the song at the Red Bus Recording Studio in London earlier this week: “Rihanna and Scoop knew each other well.
“They had collaborated before and more recently Scoop had recorded a song, ‘Happy Hood’, on Rocky’s upcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’.
“After his death, Rihanna was offered the chance to put some vocals on it.
“She spent the start of this week holed up in Red Bus Recording Studios in London.
“It was a super low-key visit and she was there for a day or two until the early hours.”
A$AP – born Rakim Athelaston Mayers – recently revealed he had recorded the ‘Happy Hood’ track with Fatman Scoop as well as Slick Rick, Busta Rhymes, Flavor Flav and Morrissey.
He told Zane Lowe on the presenter’s Apple 1 Music show about the tune: “I literally tried to figure out how to get my favourite rappers.
“So I got a track with Fatman Scoop, Flavour Flav, Slick Rick, Morrissey, and Busta Rhymes all on one.
“It’s kind of nuts. We call that one ‘Hood Happy’. That’s coming soon.”
The ‘Happy Hood’ song was meant to be released on 30 August, but A$AP delayed its released, and the updated version apparently featuring Rihanna and others is expected to be out on the singer’s ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ record, which is now set for release later this year.
Fatman Scoop – born Issac Freeman III – fell on stage while performing in Hamden Town Center Park, Connecticut, on 30 August and was rushed to hospital before he was pronounced dead.
Disturbing footage of his medical emergency showed screams ringing out from fans as the rapper clambered onto a platform before disappearing from view as a medical team raced to revive him.

Raven-Symoné warns brutal showbiz bosses will try to ‘milk the light’ from young performers

OHMYGOSSIP — Raven-Symoné has warned showbiz bosses will try to “milk” the “light” out of young performers.
The 38-year-old – born Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman – shot to fame playing Olivia Kendall on ‘The Cosby Show’ and went on to release a string of albums, with her first record coming out when she was aged seven.
Raven told Demi Lovato, 32, on the singer’s documentary ‘Child Star’ during a discussion about their gruelling work schedules: “People are going to milk all of that light out of you because, ‘You’re young and you still have energy’.
“But you do not. You’re still human.”
Raven added about her family making it clear she had to work for a living from an early age: “I knew it was work immediately. My parents made sure that I understood that this was a job. I get paid for it. You show up professionally.
“I knew at three how much I was making and I understood it’s a job. If you lose it, you don’t make that money.”
She added about how she has navigated handling her money with her relatives:
“We call it a family business. Everybody has a job within the family business, so nobody likes to say one person’s the breadwinner or not… read through those lines.
“(Many) children – young kids – are performing for their parent. They’re performing for their parents’ love and affection and their, ‘Good job!’
“And yes, it’s a lot of money – it’s a lot of money. And money does crazy s***.”
Demi told Raven about her experience of the showbiz grind: “I didn’t know you could take time off because no one told me.
“At one point, I played 70 shows in 90 days. I was going to have two nights off and then when push came to shove, they were like, ‘We need those two days of rehearsals for the movie.’”
But Raven stressed how lucky she was to be part of history by appearing in ‘The Cosby Show’.
She said: “‘The Cosby Show’ was the No1 television show in America, especially with an African American cast and so influential within the fabric of society.
“(For) a young girl from Atlanta, Georgia… that’s the dream of so many black people at that time.
“From the age of 16 months, I knew that my job was to entertain other people. That’s a mind thing in itself.”

Lupita Nyong’o spent years battling with way she speaks

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o spent years battling with the way she speaks.
The 41-year-old – whose breakout role was playing abused plantation worker Patsey in Sir Steve McQueen’s plantation-era ‘12 Years a Slave’ film – was born in Mexico and raised mainly in Nairobi, Kenya, with the actress living in the US for the last 20 years.
Opening up about how she has always had a “complicated relationship” with her voice, she said on the first episode of her new podcast ‘Mind Your Own’: “In order to create this podcast, I had to get very comfortable with my voice.
“I made this pact with myself that I would learn how to sound American in a way that would guarantee me a career in acting, because obviously I didn’t know very many people in movies and television with Kenyan accents.
“There was just no market for that.”
Before starting the press tour for 2013’s ‘12 Years a Slave’ she said she called her publicists and told them: “I’ve decided that from tomorrow I am going to return to my original accent. I want to send a message that being an African is enough.”
She added: “They had never heard me speak in a Kenyan accent.”
The actress also said her mother backed her decision, adding: “She said, ‘Your accent is representative of your life experience.’
“That gave me solace, that an accent comes to being from your life… and just like skin and hair, it can change and it’s okay.”
She exclaimed about her voice: “I guess this accent is called Lupita! I don’t know who could claim it but me.”
Lupita recently told how she wanted to diversify her roles by doing comedy.
She said to People: “I don’t get comedic roles offered to me. Ever. I’m known for dramatic roles, so I tend to get that kind of role. Lots of depth, darkness.
“I love depth. I’m not saying I don’t want depth. But darkness and drama, I get that a lot. I am always trying to choose roles that I haven’t played before, roles that will stretch me.
“I think comedy is very scary. It’s very hard to achieve, and I want to try my hand at it more.”

Alan Cumming produces painting with chimpanzee friend of nearly 30 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Cumming has produced a painting with his chimpanzee friend of nearly 30 years.
‘The Traitors US’ host and actor, 59, starred alongside male chimp Tonka in the 1997 film ‘Buddy’ and recently appeared in the ‘Chimp Crazy’ HBO documentary to “help highlight” the brutal trade in the creatures and their ill-treatment in captivity.
He has now collaborated on an abstract work with Tonka, using the colours of the Royal Banner of Scotland, where Alan was born – with their piece set for auction on Charitybuzz.
Alan told Page Six about their work: “I painted and signed the bright yellow basecoat, and Tonka used a vivid red to add brushstrokes, an homage to the Scottish Lion Rampant.
“We chose a non-toxic brand as Tonka loves tasting paint as part of the process.”
Money raised from the sale of the painting will go to the Save the Chimps sanctuary, and it is hoped it will get bids in the thousands of dollars after actor Joaquin Phoenix’s art collaboration with ape Rooney and the Save The Chimp Gallery fetched $10,000 at Art Expo in New York in spring.
Alan and Tonka’s work is up for sale in an auction that closes on 1 October, with bids of up to $2,000 lodged since the sale opened on Tuesday (17.09.24.)
The actor has said he found Tonka “very gentle” when he first worked with him, and added he agreed to appear in the ‘Chimp Crazy’ documentary as he was already working with PETA on a campaign to rescue the famous chimp.
Alan teamed up with PETA in 2022 to help find out what happened to his primate friend when Tonka went missing – and even offered $10,000 for information leading to his discovery.
A team of PETA rescuers eventually discovered the chimp’s location and relocated him to a sanctuary.
Alan has told The New York Times he wanted to put the spotlight back on the chimp trade and “the abuses happening at private zoos” by contributing to the documentary.
He also stressed he hasn’t worked with wild animals since ‘Buddy’, adding: “We don’t need to (use them in films) anymore. I have lived through that change, being someone who actually was in a film with wild animals to someone who is actively campaigning for that not to happen.
“It’s a big journey. I was naïve and I was ignorant. I really do understand the deep love.
“But that’s hurting the animal – the animal’s not getting to live the life they were supposed to live.”

Florence Pugh suffered ‘trauma’ after shaving her head

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Pugh suffered “trauma” after shaving her head for a movie role.
The ‘Midsommar’ star plays a chef who receives a shocking medical diagnosis in new film ‘We Live in Time’ and she’s revealed it was a “bizarre” experience having all her hair lopped off.
She told British Vogue magazine: “In many religions, hair is the most precious thing on the body – it’s where you store your memories and your dreams and your history. [Shaving] it was really bizarre. My head was so sensitive and so many people were trying to touch it and it was so alive.
“My body went into a bit of trauma from it. I was cold all the time.”
She added: “For any actor taking a role like this, it is completely important that you see her head and we see her shaving it – it was just always a no-brainer.
“You have the honour of doing something to yourself that is totally in support of the character.”
Florence’s head was shaved onscreen by her co-star Andrew Garfield, who admitted it was a nerve-wracking experience.
He told the magazine: “It was a privilege to be given that job. [But] What if I somehow destroyed the head of one of the best actors of her generation? It was terrifying, but ultimately it was a very beautiful, intimate scene to shoot and thank God she has such a nicely shaped melon.”
In the interview, Florence also opened up about facing criticism about her appearance from online trolls, admitting: “It’s so hard. [The internet’s] a very mean place. It’s really painful to read people being nasty about my confidence or nasty about my weight. It never feels good.
“The one thing I always wanted to achieve was to never sell someone else, something that isn’t the real me.”

Steven Adler turned to drugs to fit in with Guns N’ Roses bandmates

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Adler tried heroin to fit in with his Guns N’ Roses bandmates.
The 59-year-old musician was the group’s original drummer but was fired after five years due to his addiction to the narcotic, but he’s now claimed he wasn’t the only member of the band to be abusing drugs and his first experiences had put him off.
Speaking on new Paramount+ docuseries ‘Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored Story of ’80s Hair Metal’, he said: “Who the hell do you think I was doing them with? When I started doing heroin, I wanted to be a part of what Slash and Izzy [Stradlin] were doing.
“I took two hits, I was never so sick in my whole life.
“And wouldn’t you know what an a****** I am, I had to try it one more time. And the third time was the charm. I fell in love with it.”
While being kicked out of his beloved band could have been a wake-up call for Steven, he was ultimately so “hurt” by the decision, he descended further into his addiction.
He said: “I’ve always loved the whole team thing.
“That’s why putting a band together was so important to me, where we work together and create something.
“And then when my team threw me out, I didn’t know what to do.
“I know I could either have gotten better, or continued doing what I was doing. I continued doing what I was doing. I was that hurt.”
After being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of the ‘Paradise City’ group’s classic line-up, Steven has performed with his former band on a number of occasions and is grateful to be part of their legacy.
He said: “I just loved being part of a team, and Guns N’ Roses, the five of us, were a great f****** team.”
The docuseries uses archive footage which featured frontman Axl Rose speaking frankly about the decision to let Steven go from the group while they were recording 1991 albums ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion 2’.
He told MTV in the clip: “Steven didn’t leave the band. Steven was fired. We gave him every ultimatum. We had Steven sign a contract saying if he went back to drugs, he was out. He couldn’t leave his drugs.”

‘Wow’: Justin Theroux’s first impression of Nicole Brydon Bloom

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Theroux thought “wow” the first time he saw his now-fiancee.
The ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ actor – who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston – met Nicole Brydon Bloom at a party and after one of his friends predicted he had found ‘The One’, he made the first move and went to talk to the 29-year-old actress.
Appearing on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’, Justin said: “A friend of ours was having sort-of a party at their restaurant, bar.
“The first impression was wow. And then a friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote, [they] said, ‘That’s The One.’ Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.”
Justin’s explanation prompted him to offer to be Drew’s “wingperson” and help her find a new partner.
The host exclaimed: “That happens?! I go out all the time. I never meet anyone!”
The 53-year-old star replied: “You gotta hang out with me. I’ll be your wingperson. I’ll take you around. Let’s do it.”
Drew then asked her ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’ co-star how he knew he wanted to “lock it down” with Nicole.
He replied: “It’s one of those things that just develops.”
And Justin then continued to offer relationship advice to the 49-year-old star, urging her to meet people “in real life”.
He said: “It definitely has to be IRL, in real life. Don’t rely on an app.
“Guys, someone needs to ask Drew out right now. I’m just saying it on national television. I’m just gonna put it out there.”
The ‘Leftovers’ actor recently spoke about his excitement over his engagement to Nicole after over a year together, although he admitted he was “nervous” before popping the question.
He told The Times newspaper: “Of course I was nervous proposing. It is a question after all, so the answer isn’t guaranteed. But it was wonderful.”

George Clooney and Julianna Margulies still use ER names

OHMYGOSSIP — George Clooney and Julianna Margulies still refer to each other using their characters’ names from hit medical drama ‘ER’.
Clooney played hunky doctor Doug Ross on the NBC medical drama between 1994 and 1999 while Margulies played his love interest nurse Carol Hathaway from 1994 until 2000 and now ‘The Good Wife’ star has revealed the pair still go by the names Carol and Doug when they correspond via email.
In an interview with the Television Academy marking the show’s 30th anniversary on Monday, Marguiles, 58, explained: “It always had to be Carol and Doug, in the end. George and I, to this day, still sign our personal emails to each other ‘Love, Carol’ or ‘Doug’.”
Margulies went on to talk about the pair’s reunion in a 2000 episode for season six when Clooney’s character made a surprise return to mark Carol’s exit and reveals showrunner John Wells shrouded it in secrecy so they needed to sneak about on set.
She explained: “John said: ‘Look, we have the right ending for Carol. But we can’t tell anyone. Because if it gets out, it won’t be a surprise. So here’s what we’re going to do’ … Then, John and I had a meeting. And John said, ‘We’re going to fly the two of you out [to Seattle] separately. A car will pick you up’.”
They shot the scene with a skeleton crew and Margulies had to do her own hair and make-up.
She added: “I think it was only our DP, our cameraman, John Wells, me and George … The owners [of the house used for the scene] had to sign a nondisclosure [agreement], and I got in their bathroom to do my own make-up and hair.
“I had taken only the clothes for the character that were left in my trailer, and we shot the scene.”
Clooney has previously revealed he remains close friends with his ‘ER’ co-stars over the years.
During an appearance on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ in 2022, he said: “I guess it was the friendship I have with all of them and that I continue to have.
“I had [Anthony] Tony Edwards at the house in Italy three weeks ago – he and Mare came .. [I’m also] really close with [Margulies and Noah Wyle].
“They’re really good friends. And so I feel that [show] was a job of a lifetime. And it changed my career.”

Chappell Roan diagnosed with severe depression

OHMYGOSSIP — Chappell Roan has been diagnosed with severe depression.
The 26-year-old pop star has been open about her struggle dealing with fame and has been attending therapy sessions twice a week to deal with her new celebrity status and she’s revealed her diagnosis came as a shock because she doesn’t actually feel “sad”.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m in therapy twice a week. I went to a psychiatrist last week because I was like, I don’t know what’s going on.
“She diagnosed me with severe depression – which I didn’t think I had because I’m not actually sad. But I have every symptom of someone who’s severely depressed.”
Chappell revealed her symptoms include brain fog, forgetfulness and poor focus as well as “a very lacklustre viewpoint”.
The singer went on to explain she thinks her problems stem from how much her life has changed over a short period of time.
She added: “I think it’s because my whole life has changed. Everything that I really love to do now comes with baggage. If I want to go thrifting, I have to book security and prepare myself that this is not going to be normal.
“Going to the park, pilates, yoga – how do I do this in a safe way where I’m not going to be stalked or harassed?”
It comes after Chappell compared fame to “an abusive ex-husband”.
In an interview with The Face magazine, she explained: “I feel like fame is just abusive. The vibe of this – stalking, talking s*** online, [people who] won’t leave you alone, yelling at you in public – is the vibe of an abusive ex-husband.
“That’s what it feels like. I didn’t know it would feel this bad.”
However, Chappell admitted she still loves getting positive feedback from her fans, adding: “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh yeah, she’s really intense,’ which, whatever, fine.
“But I don’t very often get: ‘Oh my God, you have such a good vibe.’ I think that just stems back to childhood, of [wanting] people to believe that I’m a good person and me believing it, too. So it means a lot when I hear that.
“I can’t read my DMs anymore, because I cry so much. But when people are like, ‘Whatever you’re doing, it helped me’ – I don’t think any award or any money or whatever can be exchanged for that compliment.
“I don’t care about anything else, except giving space to people to be free. Because that’s what I needed so bad: freedom.”

Donald Trump movie is ‘not a hatchet job’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Apprentice’ director Ali Abbasi insisted his new film about Donald Trump is “not a hatchet job”.
Sebastian Stan takes on the role of the former US President in the new drama which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France back in May but it struggled to find a distributor after Trump’s team sent a cease-and-desist letter in a bid to block its release – and now director Abbasi has declared he was stunned by the backlash.
He told Variety: “I am quite shocked, to be honest. This is not a political piece. It’s not a hit piece; it’s not a hatchet job; it’s not propaganda. The fact that it’s been so challenging is shocking.”
The director – who was born in Iran – was condemned by the country’s government over his last film ‘Holy Spider’ but he was still more shocked by the reaction to his Trump project. He added: “OK, that’s Iran – that is unfortunately expected. But I wasn’t expecting this [over ‘The Apprentice’].”
The new movie covers Trump’s rise from real estate developer to a household name in the 1980s and is set before he became the star of his own reality TV show ‘The Apprentice’ which gives the movie its name.
The film did eventually sell to a small distribution company – which launched a crowdfunding campaign to get the movie into cinemas in October – but it’s still not won over Trump’s team who declared the movie belongs in a “dumpster fire”.
A spokesperson for the Trump campaign told Variety: “This ‘film’ is pure malicious defamation, should never see the light of day and doesn’t even deserve a place in the straight-to-DVD section of a bargain bin at a soon-to-be-closed discount movie store, it belongs in a dumpster fire.”
‘The Apprentice’ lands in cinemas in the US on October 11 – just weeks before the country goes to the polls for the November 4 election as Republican candidate Trump takes on Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris in a bid to land a second term in the White House.

David Schwimmer ‘surprised’ to learn Matthew Perry was a fan of his comedy

OHMYGOSSIP — David Schwimmer has claimed Matthew Perry was “reserved” around him.
The 57-year-old actor was “surprised” to learn his late ‘Friends’ co-star – who died in October 2023 aged 54 – was a fan of his approach to comedy and admitted he didn’t think his pal would have ever told him himself.
David was a guest on Cush Jumbo’s ‘Origins’ podcast and the host recalled how she discussed him with Matthew when they worked on ‘The Good Fight’ together.
She said: “I’m recalling talking to him about how I knew you a little bit but not very much at that stage and I was talking to him about commedia [dell’arte] and about physical comedy and all this stuff.
“[I asked] is David just someone who just does it? It just comes off of him?
“Or, and he talks about how it’s not out of control at all, that you’re a linchpin person in a scene that mostly people were always looking to you to know physically what direction things should go in, that without you being the pin, the other things don’t work which I thought was very, very complimentary and probably very true.”
David was “surprised” by her comments.
He said: “That’s interesting for many reasons, to hear that, because … that’s a huge compliment and I’m surprised to hear it because Matthew was reserved with me, he would not say that to me but I appreciate that a lot.”
The ‘Little Death’ actor explained he has always taken a “meticulous” approach to physical comedy.
He said: “Yeah, I am one of the few in the cast who had a rigorous theater training and so and in this way, in film or in anything that’s involving a stunt or anything physical.
“I think it’s gotta be finely, carefully, choreographed and I would work and work and work on any physical comedy in a scene.
“I would meticulously structure and choreograph it, not only so that I never hurt myself or hurt anyone else but that I could repeat it many, many, many times so I think that’s what maybe he’s referring to.”

Elle King wasn’t ‘trying to hurt’ dad Rob Schneider with recent childhood comments

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle King insisted she wasn’t “trying to hurt” her father, Rob Schneider, with her comments about her childhood.
The 35-year-old singer recently caused a stir when she told how the comic had sent her to “fat camp” as a child, forgot her birthdays, was often absent, and they shared different views on LGBTQ+ issues, prompting her dad to issue a public apology, but she insisted she never “in a million years” expected her comments to “go viral”.
She told People magazine: “I never in a million years thought that that was going to go viral. I was just speaking about my childhood and about my truth. I was not trying to hurt him.”
But the ‘Ex’s and Oh’s’ hitmaker doesn’t regret speaking out and her dad’s apology “means nothing” because of the platform he used to offer it.
She said: “A lot of people said, ‘How could she say that about her family?’ and ‘Everything needs to be behind closed doors.’ No, it doesn’t. Sometimes you have to just say things and get them off your chest so that you don’t have to carry it for the rest of your life.
“But ultimately, I think an apology on Tucker Carlson is like a double negative, right? Means nothing.”
And Elle did find a bright spot in the public discussion.
She added: “What I will say is the best thing that came from that is that my incredible LGBTQ+ community knows that they have an ally in me.
“And if that’s the biggest thing to come out of that platform, then I would’ve done it 10 more f****** times because I am an ally, they have one in me, and I’m grateful.”
Elle – who has three-year-old son Lucky with partner Daniel Tooker – spoke recently about the “toxic” dynamic between her and her dad when she was younger.
During an appearance on Bunnie Xo’s ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast, Elle explained: “I was, like, a really, really heavy child. My dad sent me to fat camp. And then I got in trouble one year because I sprained my ankle and I didn’t lose any weight. Very toxic and very silly.”
Elle’s dad and her mom London King divorced in 1990 and she was raised by her mother and step-dad in Ohio, while she had a strained relationship with him as a child and only reconnected with him as an adult.
She added of their turbulent relationship: “If I would ever spend a summer with my dad it would be on a movie set. I would just get lost in the shuffle. If I ever messed up a shot, if I ever was talking, I would get in trouble.”
Rob later admitted he felt “terrible” about his daughter’s comments and asked for her forgiveness.
Responding on ‘The Tucker Carlson Show’ podcast, he said: “It’s fun being a parent, isn’t it?
“I want to just tell my daughter: Elle, I love you, and I wish I was the father of my 20s that that you needed, and clearly I wasn’t.
“I just want you to be well and happy with you and your beautiful baby, Lucky.
“I wish you the best. I feel terrible, and I just want you to know that I don’t take anything you say personally.”

Sylvester Stallone ‘buying $25m mansion for daughters’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sylvester Stallone is reportedly buying a $25m mansion in The Hamptons for his three daughters.
The ‘Rocky’ star is dad to Sophia, 28, and Sistine, 26, and Scarlet, 22, with his wife Jennifer Flavin and he is believed to have decided to invest in a luxurious home in East Hampton for the trio after his two eldest girls relocated from Los Angeles to the East Coast.
According to the New York Post, the actor is in contract to buy the eight-bedroom home for $24.95 million but the deal has yet to be finalised.
Sophia and Sistine currently live in New York City while Scarlet is based in Miami, Florida where she attends college.
The mega-mansion comes fully furnished and boasts a swimming pool, 1.1 acres of land and is situated just a mile from the sea.
It comes after Stallone forced Sophia and Sistine to undergo self-defence training with Navy SEALs in a woodland because he was so worried about their move to New York.
Sistine recently told The New York Post: “It was the hardest. It was about six hours we were in those woods. Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys. They were the real deal.”
The movie star also made the pair adopt a gruelling training routine and adopt a special diet to get into shape.
Sophia added: “It was a rigorous routine. Every day at 6 a.m., he would make us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination … to bulk up. But then it was a lot of sit ups, push ups, pull ups, clean and jerks.”
As well as having three daughters with Jennifer, Stallone also had two sons from his first marriage to Sasha Czack. Their eldest son Sage died from heart disease in 2012 aged 36 while Seargeoh, 44, has autism and lives his life largely out of the spotlight.

Sir Mick Jagger and David Bowie planned murder mystery movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger and the late David Bowie planned to star in a murder mystery together.
The Rolling Stones frontman and his ‘Starman’ singer pal – who died of cancer in January 2016 – met with acclaimed writer Lynda La Plante to discuss their idea for a film but the idea quickly ran out of steam due to the “hungover” pair arguing over the plot and their characters.
In an extract from her new book ‘Getting Away with Murder’ obtained by the Daily Mirror newspaper, Lynda wrote: “Writers for TV rarely experience hits. Two hits are even rarer….yet with the double hit of ‘Widows’ and ‘Prime Suspect’, my phone was red-hot for the first time in my career.
“One call was from my then TV and film agent Duncan Heath’s office. “A message had come through my agent’s wife, Hilary, that Mick Jagger and David Bowie wanted to meet with me to discuss an upcoming movie project – a crime thriller, apparently. “A date was duly arranged and I trotted off to meet them in a central London hotel where they’d booked a suite for the day.”
Lynda had met neither of the rock stars before but they were “clearly hungover” when she arrived at the meeting and she was baffled by their flimsy pitch.
She recounted: ” ‘OK, well, let’s kick off. What kind of story are you looking for?’ I asked, sipping a morning coffee. ‘Well, we thought of… a murder mystery…’ Jagger piped up. ‘OK… a murder mystery… on the road?’ I enquired. ‘Yeah… on the road…’ he said, before turning to Bowie to double-check.
“‘What do you mean “on the road”?’ Bowie asked. ‘Well, as in a murder on the road – while a rock band is touring?’ I replied.
“‘Oh no, no, no,’ Bowie shook his head. ‘We didn’t want that. We wanted a murder on the Orient Express…’
“Suddenly, I could see Jagger frowning. ‘No, David… we decided against the Orient Express…’ he said under his breath to Bowie.
“‘Well, we thought it would make a great movie. Agatha Christie’s done it, hasn’t she?’ Bowie continued as if he hadn’t heard.
“I sat and smiled politely, but the truth was I could barely believe that this was their big idea.”
The ‘Prime Suspect’ creator then asked if the pair would be playing rock stars on the train.
She continued: “‘Oh no, no, no,’ Jagger frowned again. ‘We don’t want to play ourselves. We want to be characters…’
Lynda then faced another long period while the ‘Dancing in the Streets’ hitmakers argued about their potential roles before she “lost patience” and suggested they call again when they had a concrete idea.
She recalled: ” ‘Right,’ I said. After that, I sat for a good 15 minutes while Jagger and Bowie batted back and forth, trying to recall whatever plot they had discussed the previous evening under the influence of God knows what.
” ‘I could be the assassin!’ shouted Jagger at one point. ‘No, I wanted to be the assassin,’ Bowie replied. ‘OK, but if you’re the killer, who am I?’ Jagger shot back.
“In the end, I lost patience. It seemed pointless me even being there. ‘Look, you two. When you have an idea, call me. I’ll come back and talk then,’ I said. Needless to say, I never heard from either Jagger or Bowie again.”

Bam Margera back in jail after DUI arrest

OHMYGOSSIP — Bam Margera is back behind bars after he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
The former ‘Jackass’ star, 44, was stopped by police in Pennsylvania on September 16 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and summary reckless driving – and he is set to spend the weekend (21-22.0924) at the Chester County Prison ahead of a court hearing on Monday (23.09.24) to determined whether he has violated his probation.
He was taken into custody on Wednesday (18.09.24) following a meeting with officials who flagged a possible probation violation.
The hearing on Monday will decide whether Margera breached the terms of a plea deal he reached with Pennsylvania prosecutors in June in which he pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to six months probation. He also agreed to undergo random drug tests and treatment for his mental health issues.
The conviction stemmed from a bust-up with his musician brother Jess Margera at his Castle Bam home in Chester County, Pennsylvania, in April 2023.
After entering his guilty plea, Margera told the court: “I just want to says thanks for this whole situation. It lets me clean up my life. It is a blessing in disguise.”
As well as the probation hearing on Monday, Margera will also face a pretrial hearing stemming from the DUI case but a date has yet to be set, according to Mainlinemedianews.com.
Speaking after the conclusion of his disorderly conduct case, Margera told ABC 6’s Action News: “I needed that to realise I would go on drinking benders and I would end up in situations that were really not good.”
The TV star – who married his fiancee Dannii Marie in New Mexico in May – had been due to mark one year of sobriety in August and he previously credited his partner with helping him turn his life around.
In a video of his wedding vows, Margera was seen telling his bride: “You got rid of all the d***heads and goons and made me stop drinking and got me back to skateboarding and I cannot thank you enough.”
