Ticket to Paradise halts production due to COVID-19

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ticket to Paradise’ has halted production in Australia due to a serious outbreak of coronavirus.
Sources close to the movie say that stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts have returned home to the United States as a result.
The film began production last year in multiple locations in the state of Queensland and had only been two weeks from completion but reports say that the movie will now shut down for three months – and it is not yet clear when the camera will be able to roll again.
‘Ticket to Paradise’ is being directed by Ol Parker and follows two divorced parents who rush to Bali to stop their daughter from rushing into an unwise marriage like their own.
Filming would make use of the Whitsunday Islands, standing in for Bali, with other locations including Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The movie had been slated for release this October but the three-month halt to production could put the date in doubt.
George previously described his co-star Julia, 54, as a “proper movie star”, even though he finds it hard to articulate what enables a performer to fall into that particular category.
Asked what makes a movie star, the 60-year-old actor said: “I don’t know. I can’t comment on that because I can’t comment on how people perceive or how I am perceived by people.
“I can comment on movie stars in general. I know a few of them and I’ve known some big ones. I was really good friends with Gregory Peck, he was a big one. Newman, there’s some other ones I’m friends with who are movie stars, proper movie stars.
“Brad Pitt’s a movie star, Julia Roberts is a movie star.
“I suppose the only thing—I can’t remember who it was, a government official once said, you know I can’t give you the definition of porn but I know it when I see it.”

Marc Forster to direct Tom Hanks in A Man Called Ove

OHMYGOSSIP — Marc Forster will direct Tom Hanks in the remake of ‘A Man Called Ove’.
The much-anticipated US adaptation of the Swedish comedy will begin production at some point this year with two-time Oscar nominee David Magee writing the script. He will re-unite with Forster after they worked together on ‘Finding Neverland’.
The film has been in the works for a number of years and is based on the Swedish hit novel by Fredrik Backman. The life-affirming comedy tale remained on the New York Times bestseller list for 77 consecutive weeks after it was released.
The book was subsequently adapted for the big screen by SF Studios in 2015 and became the highest-grossing foreign language film in the United States the following year.
Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson and Gary Goetzman are producing with Fredrik Wikstrom Nicastro of SF Studios while Marc will serve as an executive producer alongside Renee Wolfe for their 2DUX2 production company.
Forster said: “When I first read Fredrik Backman’s novel, I fell in love with the notion that friendship has the power to shape a person’s life. I can’t wait to create a film with so much humour and heart alongside Tom and Rita.”
Rita added: “Fredrik Backman wrote a novel that has entertained, moved and inspired countless readers through his character of ‘Ove’.
“The humanity of this story has resonated with people all over the world, including myself. I have always looked for films that bring people joy and, hopefully, create a common experience of recognising ourselves in others.
“It’s an honour to be producing this movie and to be bringing it to audiences everywhere.”

Romesh Ranganathan co-creates and stars in new BBC comedy series Avoidance

OHMYGOSSIP — Romesh Ranganathan is to star in a new comedy series about a man with severe conflict avoidance issues.
The ‘Weakest Link’ host has written and created the new BBC show, ‘Avoidance’ – which has been five years in the making – alongside Benjamin Green, who also directs the series.
Romesh said: “Ben and I first conceived this idea in 2017 and have been thinking about it on and off ever since, so if it disappeared after one series it would be really annoying.
“If I say the BBC have committed to three series in this quote, do they have to honour that?”
The new, six-part comedy series will see Romesh play Jonathan, whose life revolves around his nine-year-old son Spencer, and he’s always deferred the big and small decisions to his partner Claire (Jessica Knappett).
However, his life is turned upside down when Claire asks him to leave so he takes his son and runs, only to get as far as staying with his sister Danielle (Mandeep Dhillon) and her wife Courtney (Lisa McGrillis).
Benjamin Green added: “It was not exactly a tough ask for Romesh and myself to imagine what life would be like for a useless, conflict averse, procrastinating Beta male.
“It was trickier to work out what would happen if he was actually forced to change.
“We are delighted the BBC have allowed us to make a show for all those people that cannot turn an invitation down or tell a waiter they have the wrong order and especially for those poor souls that have to live with them.”
Tanya Qureshi, Commissioning Editor of Comedy for the BBC, added: “Romesh, Ben and the Ranga Bee team have assembled a fantastic cast to bring their modern take on a family sitcom to life.
“We couldn’t be more excited to share it with audiences on BBC One later this year.”

Apprentice contestants ‘devastated’ as Shama Amin pulls out of show

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Apprentice’ contestants were left “really devastated” over Shama Amin’s early exit.
The 41-year-old day nursey owner, who was part of the series 16 line-up on the BBC business reality show, has pulled of the competition early on medical grounds.
Comedian Tom Allen, who hosts spin-off show ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’, said on ‘The One Show’: “It’s so sad because she’s absolutely brilliant and such a clever person and such a lovely person.
“And I know all the candidates were really devastated that she had to leave the process early.
“She would have gone a long way in the competition actually. I’m sure she’ll go on to great things.”
Shama sufferers from rheumatoid arthritis – an autoimmune disease which causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints – and she will reveal on Thursday night’s (20.01.22) show that she is leaving the process because the programme is too “physically demanding” for her.
In the upcoming episode, Shama tells Lord Sugar: “I would just like to say something, Lord Sugar, if that’s OK.
“I suffer from a condition called rheumatoid arthritis.
“Because of medical reasons, due to this process being so physically demanding, despite the efforts the whole team has made to support me, I’ve had to make a difficult decision to leave the process.”
A preview of the next episode showed the teams being tasked to design non-alcoholic beverages.
Commenting on the boys’ performance throughout the series – in which they have lost two tasks out of two – Tom added: “They are either too quiet or too loud.
“Either way they don’t listen to each other very much. I think it’s always about communication with the boys’ team.
“It’s often the boys’ teams early on that let themselves down. Silly boys in their lovely suits but they talk too much and they don’t listen to each other and they come up with some truly dreadful products.”

Fiona Phillips opens up about the negative effects of menopause

OHMYGOSSIP — Fiona Phillips says the menopause has left her “fearing for [her] sanity”.
The TV presenter has opened up about the negative effects of the menopause – when a woman stops having periods and is no longer able to get pregnant naturally – which has seen her become “scared” to do things she used to do “with ease”.
Fiona – who presented ‘GMTV’ between 1997 and 2005 – said: “It’s been going on for …you know, I can’t think, my brain is all over the place.
“I’ve cried a thousand rivers in the past few weeks and I’ve got nothing to be sad about.
“I’ve been fearing for my sanity and am scared to do things I’ve been doing with ease for years.”
The 61-year-old star has called for more support and a better understanding of the menopause, which millions of women go through at a certain stage in their life.
Her biggest fear is that it will mark the end of her career.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “They call it brain fog, I don’t know what I’m talking about half the time.
“God, it’s horrible, I haven’t worked for the first time in my life, I can’t do television work because I’m so anxious and just scared of everything and I’m not that kind of person at all. I have the intent to do everything I used to do, but then your body, your brain, doesn’t let you.
“The fear takes over. I hope to God this isn’t the end of my career.
“If I have a deadline or have a certain time to be somewhere, I panic. It’s a heart palpitation feeling, a lot, most days, most hours.”

Jay Blades cried when he could finally read his daughter’s letters

OHMYGOSSIP — Jay Blades cried when he was finally able to read his daughter’s letters.
The 51-year-old star – who couldn’t read until he was taught last summer – was overcome with emotion after receiving a letter from his 14-year-old daughter Zola, who lives with his ex-wife Jade in Turkey.
The Repair Shop’s Jay told The Sun newspaper: “Reading is something most people do every day and I didn’t know it would mean so much to me. It grabs you emotionally.
“It was the first letter Zola had ever sent me — she had never sent one before because she knew I couldn’t read it.
“Reading her letter gave me everything I’d ever wanted but didn’t think I would ever experience.”
Jay – who didn’t have any qualifications when he left school – was diagnosed with dyslexia aged 31, and he would “cover up” not being able to read because he scared about being “exposed”.
He added: “I’ve learned to cover it up and all my life I was nervous about being exposed.
“I take in loads of information at one time — listening, reading people’s faces, watching their mouths and then storing it in your brain.
“When I come back from filming I just zonk out because it’s like information overload.”
As a mature student, he graduated with a degree in criminology at Buckinghamshire New University, where he used software to read out books and help him dictate essays.
He’s used this software over the past 20 years, but Jay admitted he’s also turned to strangers – and his fiancée Lisa Marie Zbozen – for help.
He said: “Once I got a hospital letter that I knew was an important one and I took it into the street because I had no one at the house and I asked someone I didn’t know, ‘Can you read this for me?’
“With my MBE [letter from Buckingham Palace], I could see it was an official letter but I didn’t know what it was stating, so I got Lisa to read it to me.
“I get a lot of fan mail and Lisa reads all of that as well, because if someone has taken the time to write, it is really important. I’d never just leave it. Never.”

Michael Keaton wanted Batman return to be a quality movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Keaton was determined to make a quality movie as he returned to the role of Batman.
The 70-year-old star will reprise his role as the Caped Crusader in ‘The Flash’ and admits that making a good film was a key condition for his return as Bruce Wayne after three decades.
The Hollywood actor also explained that he considered returning as Batman even before Warner Bros. approached him to star in the upcoming blockbuster.
Michael told SiriusXM’s ‘The Jess Cagle Show’: “I thought, ‘Boy, what would that be like?’ And then, coincidentally, there were murmurs, and I got a call from Warner Bros. They wanted to talk to me about something and there were hints of Batman.”
He added: “It has to be good. There’s no reason to do it if it’s not good. I’m not gonna really change anything.”
The ‘Beetlejuice’ actor explained that he had “fun” on the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) project and praised the director Andy Muschietti.
Michael said: “I just jumped in and had fun. And why would you not? You know, I mean, director Andy Muschietti is fantastic, and it’s really creative. I don’t know. It’s fun.”
He also discussed the difference to playing the iconic hero now to when he last donned the Batsuit in the 1992 movie ‘Batman Returns’.
Keaton recalled: “It was a job. And then the next one was a job, and I enjoyed it. But then over time – and then the third one, I just couldn’t do.
“I just thought, ‘Well, this is not good. This is not good. I just can’t do it. I’ll blow my brains out. Just can’t live with myself.’ And so I walked away.”
The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star added that attention surrounding the role wore him down.
Michael said: “At some point, you’re a jerk if you don’t go (to conventions). This is a legitimate world. You’re no better or worse than this, but I’m naive.”

Peter Safran impressed with Shazam! Fury of the Gods

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Safran feels that ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ is even better than its predecessor.
The 56-year-old movie producer is working on the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) sequel after his involvement in the original 2019 movie and insists that the new project will take Zachary Levi’s superhero to new heights.
Speaking to Collider, Peter said: “I loved the first ‘Shazam!’ movie. I thought it was beautifully done. I thought that David Sandberg nailed that tone so incredibly well. The eye of the needle was so small to get it right, but he really did nail it.
“I feel like the second one has more emotion, more humour, but it also has bigger action, bigger set pieces, some great villains. I just feel like it’s everything we loved in the first movie really turned up to 11. So I love it.”
Peter – whose previous film credits include ‘The Conjuring’ and ‘Aquaman’ – believes the additions of new cast members such as Dame Helen Mirren and Rachel Zegler will make the new blockbuster, which is set for release in 2023, even better.
The producer explained: “I think the addition of some of these new characters with Rachel Zegler and Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu are fantastic editions.
“I love that the kids are all a little bit older now so we get to have a little bit more fun in kind of an edgier fashion with them. Zach inhabits that character in such a beautiful fashion. So to have been able to make a second one of those, it’s a thrill.”
Peter also says that the sequel was a “really smooth shoot” as director David Sandberg was returning from the first film.
He shared: “The glory of having the same filmmaker, David Sandberg, who had lived through the first one and then really knew what he wanted for the second one to amp it up, it was a great shoot. It was very, very smooth. We had an incredible script from Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan so it was a really smooth shoot. I think now obviously having seen cuts of the movie, it’s really reflected in that final product.”

Dancing on Ice’s Rachel Stevens hopeful of ‘all clear’ to return to rink this week

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Dancing on Ice’ star Rachel Stevens is hopeful she can get the “all clear” to return to the ice this week, after fracturing her wrist in December.
It was revealed yesterday (19.01.22) that the star has had to pull out her planned debut on the ITV show this Sunday (23.01.22) due to the injury, and the 43-year-old singer has now revealed she did the damage while training for the programme last month.
She said: “I’ve got a meeting with the consultant this week so fingers crossed as soon as I get the all clear I can go back on the ice.
“It is so frustrating but you know what, these things happen and it’s the risk you take.
“I fractured my wrist at the beginning of December.”
Rachel, who is now hoping to make her ‘Dancing on Ice’ debut on Sunday January 30th, didn’t even know she had fractured her wrist at the time of the accident.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I didn’t realise I had done it at the time.
“Healing time for a fractured wrist is six weeks really, so I’ve just been following the advice of the medics and doing all the advice they’ve told me to do to keep it strong.”
ITV confirmed yesterday that Rachel – who is partnered by pro ice skater Brendyn Hatfield in the show – will not skate on Sunday following expert advice from the show’s medical professionals.
A spokesperson for ‘Dancing on Ice’ said: “Due to an injury sustained in training and on the expert advice from the ‘Dancing on Ice’ medical professionals, Rachel Stevens will not skate in this Sunday’s show.
“We look forward to her returning to the show next weekend.”
It comes after Happy Mondays star Bez was struck down with COVID this week.
He is also hoping to return to the ice on January 30th, but he was not due to skate on this Sunday’s show anyway after making his debut on last Sunday’s (17.01.22) episode.

Kate Garraway’s first Life Stories guests revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Church, Nadiya Hussain and John Barnes will be Kate Garraway’s first guests on ‘Life Stories’.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter has taken over from her former co-host Piers Morgan on the ITV interview series, and she will begin her run with three 60-minute episodes in which she will delve into the lives and minds of Welsh singer Charlotte, former ‘Great British Bake Off’ winner Nadiya, and retired footballer John.
Kate said: “I’ve always loved having the chance to talk to people, both on air and off.
“Everyone has a story to tell and the wonderful thing about this show is that you have the airtime to delve into the areas of guests lives that the viewers might not know about already.
“It’s also a chance to understand more about the bits we do already know about, both good and bad, and hear it in their own words.”
Prior to taking over from Piers, Kate was interviewed by him in his last-ever ‘Life Stories’, after he quit to join News Corp’s new channel talkTV.
Kate previously told how Piers “delved all over the place” into her background when interviewing her on the show.
She said: “He delved all over the place, he delved into my past, exes, career stuff. He has a massive, massive research team.”
During the chat, Kate opened up about the struggle her family has faced amid her husband Derek Draper’s long battle with COVID and the after-effects, for which he still receives 24/7 care at home.
Speaking on the show in early December, she said: “It’s devastated him.
“From the top of his head to the tip of his toe. His digestive system, his liver, his kidneys, his heart, his nervous system. We’re pretty sure that the inflammation did pass through the brain.
“He still can’t communicate, he still has issues with mobility. Fundamentally, he’s in a terrible state. Look, he’s alive, Piers.”

Riley Keough replaced by Odessa Young in Manodrome

OHMYGOSSIP — Riley Keough has been replaced by Odessa Young in thriller movie ‘Manodrome’.
The 32-year-old actress has stepped aside for the 24-year-old star, who will play character Sal in the movie, but Keough will remain on the project as a producer, and she is delighted Young has come on board.
Keough – who is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley – told Deadline: “Odessa is my favourite actor and I am so happy she’s playing Sal.
“She’s brought so much life to the character and we are honoured to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
In June, it was revealed Jesse Eisenberg had been cast in the movie, which will see South African director John Trengrove make his English-language debut.
The thriller tells the story of Ralphie (Eisenberg), an Uber driver and aspiring bodybuilder who is inducted into a masculinity cult and loses his grip on reality when his repressed desires are awakened.
Keough, Gina Gammell and Ryan Zacarias are producing the motion picture for Felix Culpa with Ben Giladi’s Rainmaker Entertainment banner.
Adrien Brody, Ethan Suplee, Phil Ettinger and Georghe Murressean will also star in the film.
Australian actress Young has previously appeared in several movies, including ‘Looking for Grace’ and ‘The Daughter’, in which she starred opposite Geoffrey Rush, Ewen Leslie, Miranda Otto, and Sam Neill.
Young – who also featured in movie ‘Shirley’ opposite Elisabeth Moss – scooped an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in ‘The Daughter’ for her part of Hedvig Finch, the daughter of Leslie and Otto’s characters.

Robert Pattinson could star in Parasite director Bong Joon-ho’s next movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Pattinson is in talks to star in Oscar-winner Bong Joon-ho’s next film.
According to Variety, the 35-year-old actor is being eyed to take on the lead role in the 52-year-old ‘Parasite’ director’s big-screen adaptation of the upcoming Edward Ashton novel, ‘Mickey7’, which is released next month.
The tome tells the story of “an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonise the ice world Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission that’s too dangerous — even suicidal — the crew turns to Mickey. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact.”
Joon-ho is writing and helming the movie for Warner Bros., and last year Robert signed a first-look deal with the studio.
The ‘Twilight’ star – who is playing the caped crusader in their upcoming blockbuster ‘The Batman’ – inked a production deal to develop feature film, SVOD (HBO Max) and WBTV properties.
He said in a statement: “Warner Bros Pictures and HBO have always been synonymous with groundbreaking filmmaking.
“I’m thrilled to be working with them to discover the most exciting new voices in film and television and help bring their visions to life.
“I’ve loved working with the studio over the years and have so much respect for their dedication, their willingness to take chances and their desire to push the envelope creatively.”
Meanwhile, Robert’s co-star Zoe Kravitz recently teased that his transformation into Batman is “incredible.”
The 33-year-old actress plays Catwoman in the hotly-awaited flick and revealed “a lot of work” has gone into making the movie magnificent.
She said: “Rob is perfect for this role. He was incredible. His transformation was out of this world. [Director] Matt Reeves has a lot of heart, and he cares so much for these characters. I’m just very excited for him to be able to go on vacation because he deserves it. I hope the fans love it because we put a lot of work into this.”

Simon Cowell ‘cringed over Britain’s Got Talent wedding’

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell is said to have “looked uncomfortable” as a couple got married on stage during a ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audition.
The ‘BGT’ judge – who himself popped the question to his now-fiancée Lauren Silverman on Christmas Eve (24.12.21) – witnessed Ben and Kerry, from Ashford, Kent, tie the knot during a try out for the new series of the ITV show, and he is said to have been “fidgeting in his seat”.
An onlooker told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “He appeared like he’s still not a man that bothered about weddings.
“I think Simon might have thought it was a joke at his expense at first, but as the ceremony took place he was fidgeting in his seat.
“He looked uncomfortable and David was clearly taking the mickey out of him as he has done throughout the auditions regarding his engagement.
“Simon was making hand gestures to the audience which looked like he wasn’t that interested and wanted to get it over with.”
Fellow judge Alesha Dixon was also shocked by the ‘BGT’ ceremony.
She said: “Just when you think this show can’t get any crazier, we have an actual wedding.”
Elsewhere during ‘BGT’ auditions this week, judge David Walliams is said to have poked fun at Simon for not knowing what a millionaire’s shortbread biscuit it, which prompted the music mogul to joke that the ‘Little Britain’ star could soon be out of a job and end up on BBC quiz show ‘Pointless’.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, Simon said: “I’d be careful if I were you.
“You’ll be out of a job and end up a contestant on ‘Pointless’ next year.”
Earlier this week, ‘BGT’ presenter Ant McPartlin choked up as he and Declan Donnelly co-hosted the show in front of a live audience for the first time in two years.
The 2020 ‘BGT’ live finals were postponed from the spring to the autumn following the start of the COVID pandemic and were pre-recorded with a virtual audience.
Last year’s show was axed completely due to the pandemic, but the co-hosts and judges Simon, Alesha, David, and Amanda Holden reunited this week for the first day of the auditions at the London Palladium.

George MacKay would ‘consider’ James Bond role

OHMYGOSSIP — George MacKay would “consider” playing James Bond if he was offered the part.
The ‘1917’ actor has been tipped as a potential replacement for Daniel Craig as 007 and admits that he would be tempted by the iconic role.
George told the Metro newspaper: “You’ve got to consider it, for sure. I mean, it’s an amazing thing, but it would also be a massive thing.
“I don’t know if that’s a reality but if it ever became one, of course it would be a consideration – but a careful one.”
The 29-year-old star also joked that he would be perfect to step into Daniel’s tuxedo after playing his younger sibling in the film ‘Defiance’.
George added: “I played Daniel Craig’s brother. So maybe I could step into his shoes!”
The actor has had to do plenty of running in both ‘1917’ and his new project ‘Munich – The Edge of War’ and admits that it was “exhilarating” to be sprinting on set.
MacKay explained: “It’s amazing how much exhilaration you get from a burst of physical activity.
“And I remember the camera crew had this amazing rig where they had our cinematographer in the back of a wooden box and his assistant was on this tricycle ahead of him, pedalling, and we sort of had a race, but they were going as fast as they could.
“They were all high-fiving and back-slapping afterwards because it was this really dynamic shot that we captured. It’s tiring doing them again and again but it’s also exhilarating.”
George added that he would be open to applying his running skills to play an athlete on the big screen.
He said: “It’s lovely to have a reason to learn something new. I can get quite heady if I’m not moving about. If you sort of sit still, your mind takes over, which is great. I think it’s important to let your body go a bit when you can.”

Anthony Mackie to make directorial debut on Spark

OHMYGOSSIP — Anthony Mackie will make his directorial debut on ‘Spark’.
The 43-year-old star has tapped ‘King Richard’ actress Saniyya Sidney to play Claudette Colvin, an unsung hero of the Civil Rights era.
Colvin was just 15 when she bravely stood up to racism as she was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a crowded segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama.
The incident occurred nine months before Rosa Parks became an icon of the Civil Rights movement for doing the same thing.
Colvin was initially embraced by Civil Rights leaders for her courage, but was brushed out of history when those same leaders decided a poor, dark-skinned teenage girl wasn’t the ideal face for their public campaign.
Anthony is producing the movie with Kellon Akeem, Jason Michael Berman and Marc Ambrose while Niceole R. Levy has written the script.
The ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ star explained that he came across Colvin’s story while visiting the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis and felt that her story needed to be told after all these years.
Mackie said: “Not only was I moved, I was inspired. It’s great to be a superhero in movies but she’s a real live one living amongst us and I’m honoured to tell her story.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Abbie Quinnen doubts she will ever “fully recover” from her burns accident last year.
The 24-year-old dancer – who is dating former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star AJ Pritchard – suffered horrific burns in an accident in January 2021 when a stunt intended for social media went badly wrong, and the star has been “really upset” leading up to the one-year anniversary this week.
She wrote on Instagram: “A year ago today I survived the most horrific accident I could of possibly imagined! I would love to say I am fully recovered but unfortunately I’m not and probably never will be as I know I’m going to have life long scars!! I have been really upset the past few days & felt really strange as I knew this day was coming! (sic)”
Abbie admitted she is yet to finish having treatments, but she is “getting there” as she accepts and feels “proud” of her scars.
She added: “I’ve just constantly been thinking why did this happen & that I’m so young! I’m 24 years old and I have to live like this for the rest of my life with these burn scars on my body! But i know I haven’t finished my treatments yet, there are other options and most importantly scars don’t define you! my scars are something I am proud of & should be more proud of as they show me everyday how strong I am! It has taken me a long time to accept that but I think I am getting there! I’m ready for this New Year & I am ready to raise as much money as possible for burns patients like myself (sic)”
AJ commented: “You are so Strong .. This year is going to be a Great year. Xxx … & you will raise lots of money running the @londonlandmarkshalf (sic)”
In June, Abbie admitted she was “always panicking” about what to wear since she suffered third-degree burns earlier this year.
The star spoke about having to wear a compression vest 23 hours a day and keep her scars out of the sun following the accident.
She wrote: “definitely am finding it hard to find what to wear at the moment as I have to wear a compression vest 23 hours a day under my clothes and keep my scars out of the sun.
“I’m always panicking about what I’m going to wear before I leave the house so it’s always so lovely to get so many compliments from you all about what I’m wearing! Thank you (sic)”
