Lauren Goodger is pregnant with her second child

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger is pregnant with her second child.
The 35-year-old reality star – who has been in a relationship with Charles Drury, 24, since 2020 – fell pregnant just eight weeks after giving birth to their daughter Larose in July 2021 and suffered from “mum guilt” upon discovering the pregnancy because there will be such a close age gap between them.
She said: “We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really pleased, but being honest I was really in two minds about it. I was like, ‘I’m just getting myself back together – I’m going back to square one. Is this fair?’ You get real mum guilt, like, ‘What about Larose? She’s still a baby, she still needs me, I won’t be able to be there for her.”
The former ‘TOWIE’ star briefly split from Charles back in November 2021 and explained that “a lot went through [her] mind” but ultimately decided to go through with the pregnancy when he urged her not to have a termination.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “A lot went through my mind which is why I’ve held out a bit longer until I’ve announced it. Charlie was like, ‘I really want this baby.’ And I said, ‘So do I.’ I made the decision to go ahead with it and I’m so glad I did. We had that little break [in November] and he came back and was like, ‘You’re not having a termination – I want this family.’ I knew deep down I was going to go ahead with it, but I was scared. I’ve got to think of Larose too. But if I had a big gap between children, I’d get myself sorted, Larose in a good routine and then I’m back to square one. I might as well do it now when I’m in new baby mode.”
The news comes just days after it was reported that Lauren had dumped Charles when he admitted to sleeping with Instagram model Amy Gilbert when they were on a break, leaving the relationship in a “really funny stage” and “up in the air”.
She said: “Last week I was like, ‘This isn’t happening right now.’ It’s a really funny stage – we’re doing our own thing. It’s been a rocky time and it’s been really hard for me. But I’ve got to focus on the pregnancy and the baby. I’m a very hands-on mum, it’s all on me, so it doesn’t feel much different. I’m here on my own with my mum and my baby. Charlie’s really hurt me so I don’t know what the future holds. At the minute it’s all up in the air. We need to get a co-parenting schedule together.”

Doctor Who bosses ‘considering a range of radical options’ to improve ratings

OHMYGOSSIP — Doctor Who bosses are “considering a range of radical options” to improve ratings following slump in viewing figures.
The BBC sci-fi favourite – which currently stars Jodie Whittaker as the titular Time Lord – pulled in an audience of 3.4million for the New Year’s special, the lowest ever since 2005.
A TV insider told The Sun: “The new team are considering a range of radical options in a bid to revive the flagging fortunes of a programme which is adored by millions around the world.”
The source went on to claim that this could see the BBC “put space” between Jodie’s exit from the role and the reveal of her successor, who is yet to be announced.
The source added: “That could see them take the decision to put space between Jodie’s time in the Tardis and that of her successor. Which means she may not be seen regenerating into the next doctor. She has already wrapped filming on this year’s special episodes, and a new Time Lord has yet to be revealed.”
Speculation over who will replace Jodie as the Time Lord has built since her exit from the show was announced, with Years & Years singer Olly Alexander and his ‘It’s a Sin’ co-star Omari Douglas hotly rumoured to be taking on the iconic role, but the BBC has remained tight-lipped on who the new star will be.
A spokeswoman for the show said: “There are lots of exciting plans in store but viewers are just going to have to wait and see.”

Robert Pattinson hints his Batman will be violent

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Pattinson has revealed that his Batman will enjoy venting rage towards criminals.
The 35-year-old star will play the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie ‘The Batman’ and explained that viewers will see the superhero’s darker side, although the Dark Knight will stick to his no-kill code.
Robert told the French outlet Premiere Magazine: “There is the rule with Batman: he must not kill. It can be interpreted in two ways. Either he only wants to inflict the appropriate punishment, or he wants to kill and his self-control prevents him from doing so.
“I imagined it that way from the rehearsal of the first fight, I thought it was funnier: something in him just wanted to slit the guy’s throat! I told myself that if he spends his nights chasing criminals, it is impossible that he does not take pleasure in it. He suffers and it is a desire that overwhelms him.”
The ‘Twilight’ actor continued: “And by dint of knocking, his mind clears, he calms down, he reaches a state close to plenitude. I’m sure in this first fight, he manages to convince himself that every guy in front of him is the one who killed his mother. And so that allows him to vent all his rage.”
Robert explained that his take on Bruce Wayne “practically lives in the gutter” and exploring the character’s grittier side was a key reason for him to sign up for the iconic part.
The star said: “He’s nowhere at home except on the street when he’s wearing the suit. He lives a criminal life, but without committing crimes! I felt like I could get something out of that. Anyway, I could only play a superhero if he was really dirty!”

BGT’s David Walliams in trouble with TV bosses over ‘outrageous behaviour’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Walliams is in trouble with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ bosses for indecent exposure on the show.
The 50-year-old comedian – who serves as a judge on the ITV talent show – was rapped by bosses for “outrageous behaviour” which included stripping down to his underwear, imitating exposure of his manhood and tweaking his nipples in front of head judge Simon Cowell.
The ‘Little Britain’ star couldn’t help pushing Mr Nasty’s buttons by asking a contestant if his talent was getting his manhood out on display.
Simon exploded by saying: “Apologise now” before sending David off the stage away from the set.
He added: “Get out, get out. This is supposed to be a family show.”
Throughout the last week David has managed to get under TV bosses skin by displaying inappropriate behaviour.
A TV insider said: “Because BGT has been off our screens for some time, David is like a schoolboy in his first week back in class after the summer holidays.
“He can’t resist showing off in front of the crowd, which people expect from the funnyman. But sometimes he can take things too far, and that’s just what’s happened this week.
“Simon obviously loves his outrageous behaviour and the fact they take the mickey out of one another, but even he seemed unimpressed with his latest joke.
“He got a ticking off on the first day of filming for the new series, but rather than tone it down it seems he’s taken that as a challenge to be even more naughty.”
David who joined ‘BGT’ in 2012 has previously been known to seek attention by exhibiting wacky behaviour on the show.
Simon previously told the Express: “David is David .He just loves being the centre of attention.
“He’s like all comics, you know, they live for that attention. You’ll never ever change him.”
Despite finding him annoying for wanting to be in the spotlight, Simon looked past his behaviour as he said the show wouldn’t be the same without him.
He added: “As annoying as he is if he wasn’t there, I think you’d miss him.”

Chris Evans cast alongside Dwayne Johnson in Red One

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans is set to star alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in a new holiday film.
The 40-year-old star – who is best known for playing Captain America in the Marvel movies – has been cast alongside the wrestler-turned-actor in the upcoming Amazon production, which has been given a tentative title of ‘Red One’.
The film is being directed by Jake Kasdan, and it’s hoped that it will start shooting later this year, according to Deadline.
The action-adventure comedy is set within the holiday genre and is based on a script written by Chris Morgan. The project has been inspired by an original story idea from Hiram Garcia.
‘Red One’ is expected to be released over the Christmas period in 2023.
Chris achieved global stardom through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Robert Downey Jr – one of his former co-stars – previously hailed him as one of the shining lights of the star-studded ‘Avengers’ films.
The Hollywood veteran also thinks that Chris’ theatre background helped him while they shot the movies.
The actor – who played the part of Iron Man in the Marvel films – said: “At the root of it, he has true humility. I think it’s the reason he was able to kind of come to the front and be our team leader in the Avengers.
“I think a lot of his theatre experience helped, too. Because it was like, ‘OK, I’m going to dress up, I’m going to go out, and I’m going to tell the truth.’ It’s very kind of old-school Spencer Tracy. Although I guarantee you Spencer Tracy never would’ve put on that getup.”

Ivory Aquino cast in Batgirl as first major transgender character in a DC Comics film

OHMYGOSSIP — Ivory Aquino has been cast as Alysia Yeoh in ‘Batgirl’.
The ‘When They See Us’ actress has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max movie alongside the likes of Leslie Grace (Barbara Gordon), J.K. Simmons (Jim Gordon), Brendan Fraser (Firefly), Michael Keaton (Batman) and more.
As reported by Deadline, Aquino will play Barbara’s best friend, and the bartender is the first major transgender character to appear in a live action DC film.
The actress has appeared in Netflix series ‘When They See Us’ and ‘Tales of the City’, as well as the likes of ‘When We Rise’, ‘Blue Bloods’ and ‘High Maintenance’.
‘Bad Boys For Life’ pair Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are set to direct ‘Batgirl’, which is being produced by Kristen Burr, while Christina Hodson has written the script.
The plot for ‘Batgirl’ is being kept under wraps but it will centre on Barbara.
Keaton recently admitted he had to take a “fair amount” of convincing to don Batman’s iconic cape and cowl again, having previously played the role 1989’s ‘Batman’ and 1992’s ‘Batman Returns’.
Asked if he needed persuading, he previously said: “A fair amount. But I wasn’t fleeing it. It just wasn’t in my consciousness and then, when it was, it was a question of them calling when they had something.”
Keaton famously snubbed around $15 million to play the Caped Crusader for a third time during the 1990s but doesn’t want to dwell on the matter.
He said: “I don’t remember. That’s in my past.
“It’s 2021 or whatever the f*** it is — who gives a s***? Let’s talk about things that matter. Years ago someone asked Batman questions. I said, ‘You realise there’s a logjam of bodies floating down a river in Rwanda? Who the f*** cares about Batman?'”

Daniel Craig confirms Knives Out 2 is ‘in the can’ and expects autumn release

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig has confirmed ‘Knives Out 2’ is expected to be released this autumn.
The 53-year-old actor will reprise his role as private detective Benoit Blanc in the sequel to the 2019 mystery movie, and he revealed the forthcoming film is “in the can” and currently being edited by director Rian Johnson.
He told Variety: “We did the second one this summer, in Greece, and then we filmed studio work in Serbia. It’s in the can.
“Rian is editing now, and it’ll be out, I think, in the fall of this year.”
Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Madelyn Cline, Jessica Henwick, and Ethan Hawke will also feature in the movie.
In October, Craig admitted he thinks ‘Knives Out 2’ will be “very different” from the original.
He said: “I’m so lucky to have Rian in my life. He’s such a great writer. That script arrived and I was literally like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I couldn’t believe that he wanted me to play it. I was going, ‘It says Southern accent you went here. Really?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah?’
“We’ve just finished the second one, literally weeks ago. They’ve just wrapped up in Serbia. Dare I say it’s better? We’ll see. I don’t want to tempt fate. It’s different, and that’s the amazing thing.”
Craig is also excited for fans to see the new film.
He said: “It’s still a Benoit Blanc mystery, but it’s very different. I’m very excited about it.”
In September, Craig admitted he could see a long future for the ‘Knives Out’ franchise.
He said: “I talked to Rian the other day; we’ve got this crazy deal with Netflix, that’s great. I said, ‘What’s beyond that?’ He said, ‘Do you want to do another one?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, if you will.’
“As long as we get the ideas, we’ll figure it out; and as long as we’re excited by it, and think other people will be excited about it, we’ll keep doing it.”

“I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to get back to acting and doing what I love!

Peaky Blinders actor Paul Anderson hints at release date for season six

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Peaky Blinders’ star Paul Anderson has hinted the show will be back next month.
The 43-year-old actor – who plays Arthur Shelby Jr on the BBC period drama – has shared a black and white photo of himself alongside co-star Cillian Murphy (Tommy Shelby) in character and revealed they will put their guns “down for the last time” in February.
He wrote on Instagram: “This is the first ever image of Tommy and Arthur.
“We picked these guns up for the first time 10 years ago, and next month we put them down for the last time!
“Coming soon… PEAKY BLINDERS SEASON 6 @peakyblindersseason6 thank you to our amazing fans for waiting and for the incredible love over the last decade (sic)”
No release date has been confirmed for the sixth and final season of the show.
Late actress Helen McCrory – who died aged 52 in April after a battle with cancer – won’t be appearing as she didn’t shoot scenes as Polly Gray when filming resumed in January 2021.
A spokeswoman recently said: “Helen did not film with us in series six but Polly is an ever-present part of the show.
“She is forever the matriarch of the Shelby family and her presence is always felt by Tommy and the rest of the family. Her influence is an integral part of the season.”
It’s said Helen’s character Polly – whom she played from the first season in 2013 – was meant to have a bigger role in the story of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his gang.
Production on the sixth season of the drama was halted back in March 2020 after Helen and Cillian told bosses they weren’t “comfortable” on set during the pandemic.
The following month, she explained: “The next morning I woke and told my producer I’m not comfortable doing this anymore … Cillian Murphy did the same.
“Together with the producers, we approached the BBC and said we’re going to pull this now before we have to do this down the line.”

Ant and Dec enlist famous friends for Ghostbusters mini-series

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant and Dec have enlisted a host of their famous pals to recreate ‘Ghostbusters’ for a segment of ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’.
The pair will be joined by the likes of singer Will Young, former footballer Wayne Bridge, TV presenter Melinda Messenger and ‘First Dates’ star Fred Sirieix in the mini-series, which will run throughout the forthcoming ITV series.
A TV source said: “Every year Ant and Dec worry about how they can make each series better than the last but this time around they think they have cracked it.
“So many good names have signed up for cameos. When you get the call it’s not like you would say no.”
It’s not the first time the pair have invited famous friends to star in a mini-series on ‘Takeaway’.
In 2017, Ant and Dec starred alongside Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton, ‘Harry Potter’ star Warwick Davis, singer Craig David, and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden in comical tale ‘Who Shot Simon Cowell’, which told how the music mogul had been shot at his birthday party.
The source added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Building on the success of their whodunnits ‘Who Shot Simon Cowell’ and ‘Who Stole the Crown Jewels’, this time around it’s based on ‘Ghostbusters’.
“Obviously the boys aren’t shy when it comes to dressing up and with this latest one they have been having a lot of fun with the costumes.”
The 18th series of ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ is expected to launch in a month.

Tessa Thompson hints at romance in Thor: Love and Thunder

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson has suggested that the romance in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be different from past Marvel movies.
The 38-year-old actress is set to play Valkyrie – the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) first LGBTQ character – in the upcoming movie and explained the importance of including the superhero’s sexuality in the new project.
Tessa told TheWrap: “It’s totally exciting. We talk so much about representation and obviously, in terms of the LGBTQIA community, there’s still so much work to be done. But if you look at the comics in the canon, there are so many queer characters!”
The ‘Creed’ actress continued: “It’s hard because Taika (Waititi) and I would’ve even liked to go further, but in the context of the movies, there’s only so much we can do.
“Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of time invested in love stories in Marvel movies in general. I think that will be a little different on the new ‘Thor’, which is exciting. And getting to play a character that historically is not written for somebody that looks like me, all of that felt exciting.”
The movie’s director Taika Waititi previously stressed that romance is at the heart of the new blockbuster, which will also star Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.
The 46-year-old star said: “I think it’s going to be really good. We’ve been writing the script off and on for a year and I’m just, actually this week, doing another pass on it.
“It is so insane and it’s also very romantic. I’m into romances now. I want to make romance. I want to make something that I’ve never done or cared for. I would like to attack something like that.”

Mark Strong and Jodie Turner-Smith join Murder Mystery 2 cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Strong and Jodie Turner-Smith have boarded the cast of ‘Murder Mystery 2’.
The pair will be joined in the sequel by Melanie Laurent, Kuhoo Verma, Enrique Arce, Tony Goldwyn, Annie Mumolo and Zurin Villanueva with John Kani and Adeel Akhtar set to reprise their roles from the first film.
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, who led the ensemble for the 2019 movie, are also set to return for the new project.
The flick will shoot in Paris and the Caribbean but details regarding the plot are being kept under wraps for the time being. Jeremy Garelick will be directing this time with James Vanderbilt once again penning the script.
The first ‘Murder Mystery’ film followed New York police officer Nick (Sandler) and his wife Audrey (Aniston) as they went on a European vacation to reinvigorate the spark in their marriage, only to be framed for the death of an elderly billionaire and forced to go on the run.
Upon its release, the film secured the largest opening weekend of any film in Netflix’s history and is Sandler’s most successful project with the streaming service to date.
Both Adam and Jennifer will serve as producers on the new movie for Happy Madison and Echo Films respectively.
The movie will mark the latest collaboration between the ‘Happy Gilmore’ actor and the streaming giant – as part of a deal that was first signed in 2014 and extended in 2020.
Netflix chief Ted Sarandos said previously: “Whether you know him as Sandman, the Water Boy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Nick Spitz or simply Adam, one thing is clear: our members can’t get enough of him. They love his stories and his humour, as we saw with ‘Murder Mystery’. So I could not be more excited to extend our partnership with Adam and the Happy Madison team and deliver more laughs around the world.”

Ben Foden’s wife Jackie blasts Dancing on Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Foden’s wife has blasted ‘Dancing On Ice’ as a “popularity competition” and “unfair” after her husband was eliminated from the show.
The former rugby player 36, scored 23 out of 40 points for his dance routine to Ricky Martin’s ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ last weekend and was then axed from the ITV programme after a tense skate-off against ‘Lorraine’ reporter Ria Hebden.
But his significant other Jackie Belanoff-Smith was less than impressed with the show.
She wrote on Instagram: “Had my fair share of England for a while, time to get back to the real world.
“What’s the point of saying it’s a skate competition when it’s really just a popularity competition?
“Why divide the skaters into two weeks, groups of your choosing, and why not judge all their scores together after the two weeks?
“What’s the point of getting a bunch of people together and then not judging them together afterwards?
“And what’s the point of having a judging panel when it’s all down to a public vote.
“That’s not a skate competition, it’s a popularity competition. What’s the point of anyone doing this really practicing and trying to learn if you’re just going to be judged on your popularity?
“It’s a bit unfair, and we’re a bit sad, the worst skater wasn’t the first to go, I don’t really see the point. (sic)”
Jackie also had a suggestion about how the show could potentially be improved.
She added: “Yes, it’s how the show makes money but maybe leave the public vote for the save me skate offs or something?
“Otherwise it’s just kind of pointless to even try.”

Happy Mondays star Bez ‘to make Hollyoaks cameo’

OHMYGOSSIP — Happy Mondays’ Bez is set to star in ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 57-year-old musician is said to have filmed a cameo as himself in the Channel 4 soap alongside Nick Pickard’s character Tony Hutchinson, who will hire him as a DJ for the Dog in the Pond’s club night.
A soap insider said: “‘Hollyoaks’ bosses were genuinely surprised by how good Bez is on camera.”
Bez is said to have impressed the show’s bosses, and his role could even be extended.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “There is belief the role could be expanded, leading to Bez becoming a regular star.
“He plays himself, but given it’s in Soapland, there’s no reason why he can’t continue seemingly living his own life in the village.”
Bez is currently starring in ‘Dancing on Ice’, but he had to practice at home last week after he tested positive for coronavirus.
He said at the time: “I’m isolating in my cottage right, so I’ve got these fluffy socks on and I’m sliding about on the lino in the bathroom and I’ve got this big full length mirror I’m looking in, so I’m still practising my balance and not falling over.
“I’m just desperate to get back out there, you know what I mean?”
Bez is planning to return to the show on Sunday’s episode (30.01.22).
Last week, Bez admitted he didn’t have any COVID symptoms, and was grateful to ITV’s “stringent” testing process.
He added: “I’m 100 per cent fine and I’m sending love to anyone who has COVID with bad symptoms.
“I just feel so relieved that ITV’s testing process is so stringent because otherwise I wouldn’t know I’d had it, you know what I mean?
“I’m juicing, juicing, juicing with my cold press juice machine, it sounds like a combine harvester, but I’m doing that for vitamin C to beat this, and apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper.”

Twist and Pulse: Simon Cowell has mellowed

OHMYGOSSIP — Twist & Pulse think Simon Cowell has “mellowed” since becoming a dad.
The dance duo recalled how terrified they were of the music mogul – who has seven-year-old son Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman – when they first auditioned for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2010 but things couldn’t have been more different when they returned to win the all-star ‘Champions’ edition of the show in 2019.
Ashley Glazebrook – who is joined in the duo by Glen Murphy – told the Daily Star newspaper: “The quick answer to that is he was scary…
“I remember seeing him there and he was almost floating like a God. But when we came back for The Champions series, he was so lovely.
“I think it is definitely because he has mellowed from being a dad.
“He was coming up and hugging us. He is a genuinely nice guy. Parents always ask us ‘is he really that nasty?’ But the truth is, he isn’t, he’s actually really nice.”
The pair returned to the show earlier this week, when they wowed fans at the red carpet launch of the new series at the Palladium in London with a brand-new routine to announce McVitie’s sponsorship of the ITV programme.
Twist and Pulse dazzled the crowd as they dipped biscuits into mugs of tea while carrying out their daring acrobatic dance moves, before handing out the treats and hot beverages to those waiting outside in the cold.
They said afterwards: “It’s great to be back where it all began for us, and this new dance routine was a lot of fun to work on. Dunking your biscuits while dancing is definitely a new trend!
“’BGT’ helped change our lives and we hope it continues to do so for many others. We’re also keen biscuit fans so the performance was certainly one we’d been working on for a while.”
Through the new partnership, fans of McVitie’s and ‘BGT’ will have the chance to win top prizes through the new Golden Moments campaign that will offer exclusive money can’t buy experiences including VIP tickets to the live BGT Final at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, London.
The Golden Moments campaign aims to spread stories of positivity and fun across the nation. Competition details will be available across special BGT branded packs including McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs and Jaffa Cakes in retailers across the UK from March 7 2022.
