Frank Skinner wanted to die on stage before he became a father

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Skinner thought dying on stage “would have been [his] ideal way to go” before he became a father.
The 67-year-old comedian has been entertaining audiences with his stand-up routines for decades and has now revealed he initially felt like passing away in the middle of an act would have been a fitting end to his career before he welcomed his son Buzz Cody with his partner Cath Mason in 2012.
Speaking with the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: “Dying on stage would have been my ideal way to go, but since I have had a kid and stuff I don’t think I want to die in the wings anymore. I want to be in the bosom of my family.”
The ‘Taskmaster’ star – who had Buzz, 12, when he was 55 – said he was glad to have welcomed his son later in life because it allowed the comedian to spend more quality time with him.
He explained: “If he had come around during the white heat of my career he would have seen a lot less of me.
“He is better off having me as the bitter old has-been who is around a lot, rather than someone who he just sees once a month.”
Although he is now happily settled down with Cath, Frank admitted he wasn’t lucky with women until he started touring in his 20’s.
He said: “I was one of those blokes who never had much success with women at all until I became a celebrity.
“For me, it was honestly like being a black cab without the light on. Nobody raised a hand! Suddenly my light came on, and I was able to have, I believe the word is, sex. And it was a large part of my leisure pursuits … I had nothing else to do other than have sex, really, and write jokes!”

Tamzin Outhwaite wants to age naturally: ‘It’s a privilege to get old…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamzin Outhwaite thinks it is a “privilege to get old” when so many do not.
The 53-year-old actress – who is best known for having starred as Mel Owenon the BBC soap opera ‘EastEnders’ – is resisting the urge to have any cosmetic work done and is embracing her laughter lines because it shows that she has enjoyed a “full life” to this point.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she told stand-in host Ranvir Singh: “I haven’t gone down the filler route, I’m trying not to go under the knife yet. I just feel like it’s a real honour and a privilege to get old because so many of us don’t. And so with that privilege is going to come wrinkles, laughter lines. I’ve had a very full life with an awful lot of laughter. When I do go to have my facials, they tell me that I’ve laughed too much and I think ‘I’ll take that…’
“Not enough women know about self-care, they don’t have the tools and the self-care tools that I discovered on a retreat were basically nature, cold water, saunas for me, breathwork, yoga, things that are really inexpensive.”
The West End star – who was married to ‘Miranda’ actor Tom Ellis from 2006 until 2014 and has Florence, 15, with him – also preached the value of female friendship as she noted that she relies on her peers “more and more” as time goes on.
She said: “Basically, they are the longest relationships that we’ll ever have, apart from if you have kids. So, they’ll be there to the end and so I really feel like they are the constants in our lives and we all need each other more and more as we get older. ”

Dave Myers’ wife Loliana Orzac still talks to the late TV star: ‘I don’t like the word widow…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Liliana Orzac still talks to Dave Myers.
The ‘Hairy Bikers’ star and TV chef passed away in February at the age of 66 following a battle with cancer and now Lili – who he tied the knot with in 2011 – has admitted that she “doesn’t consider herself a widow” and is still Dave’s wife.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I don’t consider myself a widow… I don’t like the word. I’m Dave’s wife. He’s still everywhere in our house. I talk to him all the time.”
“This was a man who was at his happiest around our table.
“He lit up a room anyway – the man burned with creativity, with interest in everyone – but his passion for life came through particularly when he was cooking for someone, for everyone.
“My husband served up love on a plate.”
Lili recently admitted that there there is a “different layer” to her grief because she could turn on the television and see him there at any moment.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “Everybody who loses somebody in their lives misses them but there’s a different layer because if I turn on the TV, he might be on. There are cookbooks in the house everywhere. He is everywhere. It just transpires and rolls on into this beautiful thing.”
Lili recalled that she was running a hotel in Romania when she met the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star and he ended up staying there by accident, but they soon forged a relationship over email while he filmed his hit culinary series with Si King.
She said: “I didn’t know he was the one. It took him two years to convince me! I was running a hotel and he just accidentally ended up staying there, they were booked somewhere else.
“The jewels that he threw at me at the beginning were words. We met when, he was on the very first series of ‘Hairy Bikers’, and after Romania, they traveled to Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, and India, all beautiful places and he used to send me these beautiful emails about the food, people, the cultures. So I had these wonderful emails about these wonderful trips and it just fascinated me.
“Then we thought we’d meet up and after he finished filming, we used to meet up for weekends in different places in Europe.”

Channel 4 bosses fume as Pete Wicks signs on to Strictly as well as SAS: Who Dares Wins

OHMYGOSSIP — Channel 4 bosses are reportedly “furious” Pete Wicks has signed on to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ because it will interfere with their plans for ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The 36-year-old TV star is due to appear on the challenge show this year after he was forced to quit the programme in 2022 following an accident in which he broke his ribs, and the new series is scheduled to air at the same time as his stint on the beloved BBC show in September.
Now, industry insiders have claimed Channel 4 higher-ups are “fuming” over Pete’s decision to join ‘Strictly’, because it will shift focus away from his planned “redemption arc” on ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ (‘SAS: WDW’).
A source told The Sun’s TV Biz column: “Channel 4 were fuming when Pete was revealed as part of this year’s ‘Strictly’ cast.
“After Pete was knocked unconscious and broke his ribs in 2022’s series, his return to try and pass selection was a big deal and the first time [ex-Special Forces lead instructor] Billy Billingham and the directing staff have allowed a celeb to try out twice.
“Bosses wanted his to be one of the main storylines on the show, a real redemption arc, but now they’ve been trumped by ‘Strictly’.
“All plans for Pete to give interviews for ‘SAS: WDW’ will be overtaken by ‘Strictly’ and bosses are furious — but there’s nothing they can do about it.”
The former ‘TOWIE’ star – who will be joined by the likes of ‘Love Island’ star Tasha Ghouri, singer Toyah Willcox, and blind comedian Chris McCausland on the BBC programme – said he was excited to take to the dance floor, though admitted he also found the prospect “absolutely terrifying”.
During an appearance on ‘KISS Breakfast with Jordan and Perri’, he said: “Dancing live in front of the nation every Saturday? Absolutely terrifying.
“But anyone who knows me knows I love a challenge and trying new things, so I’m genuinely looking forward to getting stuck in.”

Ex-Strictly judge Dame Arlene Phillips weighs in on scandal and admits there’s a ‘pressure’ nowadays

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Arlene Phillips thinks the “pressure” on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is greater than ever before.
The 81-year-old choreographer served as a judge on the BBC Latin and ballroom show – which ahead of its September return has come under fire with some former contestants accusing their professional partners of bullying – from 2004 until 2009 but things that while it has always been a “tough” gig , the “stakes are higher” now because of how everyone on it now is “catapulted” to immense fame.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “It was hard, it was tough, and dancing is tough, we go through a lot with our bodies, but it’s become such a big thing.
“Now people have been catapulted to enormous fame, including the professionals.
“The pressure now is further than it was for the professionals, it’s their own personal fame.
“They (the professionals) all have their own shows now; nothing like that happened (when I was judging), it didn’t have the stakes as high.
“The pressure was there, everybody felt it, but you felt it in your training, in wanting to find a way to become a better dancer, but now is another level.”
The broadcaster has decided that going forward, celebrities will be given chaperones for their time on the show and, amid the official investigation, rehearsals will be recorded.
Former ‘Love Island’ contestant Zara McDermott, 27, recently claimed she was “kicked” by Graziano Di Prima – who will not return for the upcoming edition of the competition – in rehearsals and sometimes “locked herself in the toilet” out of fear even though she signed up to the show fully aware of the dedication that was needed.
Meanwhile, ‘Sherlock’ actress Amanda Abbington made a formal complaint after accusing her dance partner Giovanni Pernice of abusive behaviour, and he was subsequently not included in this year’s lineup of professionals.

Take-Two chief Strauss Zelnick hopes audiences give Borderlands film ‘a chance’

OHMYGOSSIP — Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has urged audiences to give the ‘Borderlands’ movie “a chance”.
The video game adaptation – which has been directed by Eli Roth and stars Cate Blanchett and Jack Black – has been savaged by critics but Zelnick wants viewers to make their own minds up about the picture.
Speaking to IGN, the gaming boss said: “Let’s give the film a chance. A lot of people worked really hard on it.
“The underlying intellectual property is phenomenal, the cast is amazing, I think the look and feel is really terrific. So let’s see what audiences have to say.”
Zelnick also stressed that the success or failure of the film will not have an impact on Take-Two or the future of the ‘Borderlands’ franchise on consoles.
He said: “But to answer your question, no, the performance of the film wouldn’t have a financial impact on us or on the franchise one way or another.”
Zelnick says that Take-Two is “really selective” about deciding which games to allow for screen adaptations and declared that the publisher will “probably maintain” this approach in the future.
He said: “It’s not really core to us.”
Cate explained that the ‘Borderlands’ film is “fun, fun, fun” but acknowledged that it is unlikely to be considered a cinematic masterpiece to rival the likes of ‘Citizen Kane’.
The 55-year-old star told USA Today: “People say, ‘Oh, that was a flop’ or ‘that was a hit.’ But sometimes the films we hold up as the greatest of all time were not financial or audience successes, yet they’ve become classics.
“I’m not saying ‘Borderlands’ is a classic! It’s fun, fun, fun, but it’s not ‘Citizen Kane!'”

Mckenna Grace and Allison Williams cast in Regretting You

OHMYGOSSIP — Mckenna Grace and Allison Williams are to star in an adaptation of ‘Regretting You’.
The pair have joined the cast of the movie that is based on Colleen Hoover’s 2019 novel of the same name.
The announcement follows the release of ‘It Ends With Us’ – an adaptation of Hoover’s book that stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni that is expected to be a big hit at the box office.
‘Regretting You’ charts the complex relationship between Morgan Grant (Williams) and her daughter Clara.
Morgan becomes a parent at a young age and puts her dreams on hold in order to raise Clara. However, as Clara grows into a teenager their relationship becomes fractured – particularly after a tragic accident claims the life of Chris, Morgan’s husband and Clara’s father.
The picture will be directed ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ filmmaker Josh Boone from a script written by Susan McMartin. Robert Kulzer is set to produce the film with Brunson Green and Anna Todd.
Meanwhile, Mckenna has also been cast in the psychological thriller ‘Straight Lies’.
The 18-year-old actress is set to star in and executive produce the flick that is being helmed by director Alex Kalymnios.
The movie is set in 1990 at the height of the hysteria of the war on drugs and is inspired by true events from screenwriter Ren Trella’s life as a teenager.
The plot centres on a teenage girl falsely accused of drug use who is held against her will and must escape a cult-like drug rehab that is supported by the US Government, while her covert CIA agent father becomes so caught up in political influence that he is unaware of the danger she is in.
Mckenna said in a statement to Deadline: “I am so honoured to bring this compelling story to the screen. After speaking with our amazing writer Ren and hearing her true story of what she endured and based the script, I knew this was going to be a heartbreaking, but necessary project to make.”

Rylan Clark insists he’s ‘one of the most masculine people you’ll ever meet’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark has insisted that his camp TV persona is just an act.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant, 35, is renowned for being one of the most flamboyant figures on the box, but Rylan has now argued he’s much more “masculine” in day-to-day life.
He told the Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine: “I’m probably one of the most masculine people you’ll ever meet and no one will f****** believe that.”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – whose real name is Ross – explained his duel personalities were “definitely a Jekyll and Hyde thing”, though emphasised he was “grateful” for the success his Rylan brand has brought him.
He explained: “I could call Rylan a curse, but he’s made me a millionaire. I’m grateful to have been able to do the things I’ve done and had Rylan as the fall guy for it.
“Rylan is my job. If you’re a bus driver, when you go home you don’t sit in your lounge driving a bus. You sit there and watch telly. And that’s exactly what I do. I’m not Rylan when I’m at home so, the second the gate is shut, Rylan is left there, and then I’m Ross.”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two’ star described himself as a run-of-the-mill guy who has a “heterosexual-man blueprint brain”, even though he’s gay.
He said: “That is, I wanted to grow up, get married, have the 2.4 kids, have a nice house and a great job. But I just want to do that with another male …
“I see my role in society as being that guy with the big teeth who goes on telly, hopefully entertains people and then I go home and live a normal life.
“I always said I’d have them when I’d got enough money to support them even if I never worked again. And I’ve got it.”

Helen Flanagan hoping to make Corrie return ‘at some point’

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Flanagan would “love to return” to ‘Coronation Street’ in the future.
The 34-year-old actress – who has Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two, with her ex fiancé Scott Sinclair – played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap until her 2018 departure, and has now revealed she’s keen to reprise her role “at some point”, though thinks returning in the near future would be too tricky for her youngest.
Helen told OK!: “I would never say never when it comes to ‘Corrie’ but the filming schedule could be quite intense for my little boy at the moment. I’d love to return at some point.”
The former soap star added she was determined to return to acting, though emphasised she always has to prioritise her children before signing on to any jobs.
She explained: “I really want to get back into acting. I went for an audition the other day and I did get it, that’s really nice.
“I am a mummy so I always consider my children before I take jobs on.”
Helen is due to appear on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ in an effort to find lasting love, though revealed she had previously been asked to star in the E4 show after she broke up with Scott in 2022.
She said: “I love the show and I was asked before when I had just split up with my ex fiancé but I wasn’t in the right mind space. I’ve been single for two years and I really wanted to do it.”
Although she’s excited to appear on the show, the actress – who will be joined by the likes of ‘Love Island’ star Chris Taylor, ‘Gogglebox’ alum Stephen Webb, ‘Married At First Sight UK’s Ella Morgan, ’Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phillips and musician Jamelia – was nearly “thrown out” of the programme after she broke one of the series’ rules.
Dating agent Anna Williamson told The Sun newspaper: “Helen, I just love her. What I will say about her though – and I don’t want to spoil anything – but Helen has the biggest cliffhanger pivot of a storyline that we’ve ever had in ‘Celebs Go Dating’ history.
“Helen nearly got thrown out of the agency two weeks ago. She did something huge which goes against all the rules of the agency.”

Jennifer Garner details intense exercise regime for Deadpool and Wolverine: ‘I wasn’t Marvel fit’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner “wasn’t Marvel fit” when she signed up for ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
The 52-year-old actress – who ahs Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15 and Samuel, 12, with her ex-husband Ben Affleck – played Elektra in the superhero films ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Elektra’ in the early 2000s but when Ryan Renolds asked her to return to the role for the new film, she admitted that she had a lot of work to do physically before she could play the role.
She wrote on Instagram: “We were on the set of ‘The Adam Project,’ and they gave each other this look they have that can communicate an idea, 20 pages of dialogue, nuclear codes — there is a crazy artistic kismet between those two.
“Other than trying to convince my kids’ preschool buddies that I was secretly a ninja, I hadn’t picked up Elektra’s sais since 2004; I was fit, but not Marvel fit.”
The ’13 Going On 30′ star then undertook a series of intense exercise regimes to be at the top of her game for making the movie and detailed the routine further in her caption.
She said: “As this impossible dream became reality, my bestie and OG stunt double @shaunaduggins and I amped up our training, led by @bethjnicely at @thelimitfit: 1x/day, plus whatever homework she assigned for a second workout. Boxing 3x/ week with @flvcothefuture from @matchroomxchurchillgym. And lots and lots of @onepeloton’s @becsgentry. We had #SuperHeroSummer over here, twirling sais in the backyard and laughing at our sore old bodies.
“I didn’t know that Elektra and I needed an ending, but Shawn and Ryan did. They are gifted in many ways, but seeing and elevating people around them is at the top of the list. ”

Ryan Reynolds reveals Deadpool and Wolverine nearly had more Fantastic Four cameos

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds has revealed ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ nearly featured cameos from the cast of the 2015 film ‘Fantastic Four’.
While the Marvel blockbuster is heavy with surprise appearances – with fan-favourite Chris Evans returning to play his version of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch from his two ‘Fantastic Four’ films – the 47-year-old actor revealed the flick nearly included cameos from the poorly-received 2015 adaptation of the iconic superhero team as well before the plans were dropped due to budget concerns.
When Collider asked Reynolds if the ‘Fantastic Four’ cast – which included Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell – were considered for a ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ cameo, he said: “Yeah, that was a part of it. But like that, you’re never going to get the mislead with like, Chris Evans, you know, with him doing it and the kind of license to thrill after that, with Chris.
“So you know, and also, we were trying to be mindful of the budget. We were trying to make the movie.
“We always understood it’s rated R, you know. It isn’t a blank check, and part of our responsibility is to return the investment that they’re making in us. So I never want a budget that I don’t feel like I can make good on.
“And the more kind of toys you start asking for and the more kind of characters you start wanting to license, the deeper in that sort of point of no return becomes.”
These cameos aren’t the only ones that didn’t make the movie as director Shawn Levy recently revealed the production team was “looking at a 70-name menu of Marvel characters” – including Ben Affleck’s Daredevil.
He told Variety: “Early on, when we were looking at a 70-name menu of Marvel characters, Daredevil was on one of those lists, but never since those earliest of conversations, and never to the point of outreach or offers or anything like that.
“We made contact with everyone featured in the Fox tribute reel halfway through our end credits — and that’s dozens of actors who have been a part of that legacy.
“That was fun to build a love letter to those years, those characters, and all the actors who played them.”

Addison Rae’s Thanksgiving return hinted by director Eli Roth

OHMYGOSSIP — Eli Roth has hinted Addison Rae will appear in ‘Thanksgiving 2’.
The 23-year-old singer and actress starred as Gaby in the 2023 holiday horror movie, and Roth – the director and co-writer of the first and second films – has admitted Rae’s character was “kept alive for a reason”.
He said: “I love Addison Rae. We kept her alive for a reason. It doesn’t feel like a ‘Thanksgiving’ movie without Addison Rae.”
However, sources have told Variety that Rae is yet to officially sign up to the project.
‘Thanksgiving’ was based on the spoof trailer 52-year-old filmmaker Roth made 16 years ago for the Quentin Tarantino-Robert Rodriguez double bill ‘Grindhouse’.
The movie told the story of a serial killer who terrorised the residents of Plymouth, Massachusetts, while dressed as a 17th century pilgrim.
Rae’s character survived, as did Scuba (Gabriel Davenport), Ryan (Milo Manheim), Bobby (Jalen Thomas Brooks) and Jessica (Nell Verlaque).
The movie also featured Patrick Dempsey – who portrayed Sheriff Eric Newlon – Rick Hoffman and Gina Gershon.
Roth confirmed in November that there will be a ‘Thanksgiving 2’, and it will again be set during the US holiday season.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: “BREAKING NEWS! John Carver will kill again!
“Thank you everyone who supported ORIGINAL HORROR in theaters!!! Go see it now on the big screen while it’s in cinemas, sequel set for release in 2025! Taking a year to really get the script right, working on it starting today! (sic)”

Zara McDermott ‘so excited’ about Strictly Come Dancing news

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara McDermott has “never been so excited” after her good pal Pete Wicks signed up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 27-year-old documentary-maker became the first-ever former ‘Love Island’ star to compete on the BBC Latin and ballroom series last year, and her appearance on the show recently hit the headlines again after her professional partner Graziano Di Prima was axed from ‘Strictly’, amid reports of alleged misconduct relating to how he treated her.
Despite that, Zara cannot wait to see ‘TOWIE’ star Pete – who is best friends with her boyfriend, ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner Sam Thompson – compete on the programme.
After Pete was confirmed to be taking part in the show, Zara wrote on her Instagram Stories: “I’ve never been so excited. Love you @p_wicks01”
Earlier this week, Pete became the seventh contestant announced for this year’s ‘Strictly’, just minutes after former ‘Love Island’ star Tasha Ghouri was confirmed for the upcoming 22nd series.
Pete admitted on ‘KISS Breakfast with Jordan and Perri’ that the prospect of strutting his stuff on the ballroom floor is “absolutely terrifying”, but he’s excited to give it a go.
He added in a statement: “Dancing live in front of the nation every Saturday? Absolutely terrifying.
“But anyone who knows me knows I love a challenge and trying new things, so I’m genuinely looking forward to getting stuck in.”
Graziano recently shared his “regrets” about his time on ‘Strictly’ in a candid post on Instagram.
He wrote: “I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from ‘Strictly’.
“My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it’s best for the show that I step away.
“While there are aspects of this story involving external influences that I can’t discuss at this time, I remain committed to being strong for my family and friends.
“I wish the Strictly family and the BBC nothing but success in the future. I also want to thank everyone who has supported my career, both professionally and personally. When the time is right, I will share my story.”
Zara also posted about her experience on the show, writing: “When I was invited to be a contestant on the show it really was a childhood dream come true.
“I fully understood the level of commitment and hard work that ‘Strictly’ was going to be and I dedicated everything to it.
“I am a resilient person and I was fully prepared to put in whatever it took. And so much of my ‘Strictly’ experience was everything I could have dreamt of…
“However, my experience inside the training room was very different. Reports have been made about my treatment on the show and there were witnesses to some events, as well as videos of particular incidents which are incredibly distressing to watch.”

Trisha Goddard to host Good Morning Britain and return to ITV for the first time 20 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Trisha Goddard is to host ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The 66-year-old presenter – who was diagnosed with cancer in 2022 – was a staple on ITV in the 1990s and early 2000s with her eponymous daytime talk show but has now signed on to join the broadcaster’s early morning breakfast show for two appearances next week.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Trisha’s personal story is a real tale of determination and the perfect piece of inspiration for people going through a similar ordeal.
“Despite everything she has been through, she is back doing what she does best — getting into the thick of news and current affairs on a big show.”
Trisha also confirmed the news herself on Thursday’s (08.08.24) edition of the ITV programme.
The TV star first hosted her chat show for ITV in in 1998 and it moved to Channel 5 in 2004 before being axed in 2010.
Since then, Trisha has made appearances as a panellist on ‘Loose Women’ and featured in an episode of ‘Piers Morgan’s Life Stories’ but moved to the US in the early 2010s to present a version of her series that acted as a spin-off of US talk show ‘Maury’.
She returned to the UK in the years that followed and now presents a revamped version of ‘You Are What You Eat’ and, since 2021, has presented on TalkTV.

Ryan Reynolds will ‘never, ever’ reveal the Deadpool and Wolverine joke Marvel asked him to cut

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds will “never ever ” reveal the joke that he was asked not to include in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
The 47-year-old stars alongside Hugh Jackman in the Marvel hit and while he recently admitted that there was one gag that bosses of the comic book franchise advised him and director Shawn Levy to cut, he will never go into specifics about what it was exactly.
e told Collider: “I will never ever say. Honestly, it would be easy for me and Shawn, and certainly, Hugh and anyone else, my entire Maximum Effort company, to sort of position Disney and Marvel as the stern, uptight, conservative parents in this situation, but the reality was, it was the opposite. That was probably the biggest plot twist for all of us was that there was nothing but supreme and unconditional support from them. There was a note about this one line, which is that I was asked to take the line out—I was not even mandated to take the line out.
“To quote someone in a very high position of leadership at Disney, “I’m In for a penny, I’m in for a pound. If you take it out, I’d love it. If you don’t, I will still love and support you, this movie, and all the hard hard work that went into it.” So, at that point, you go, “Do I want to stick with the pride? Do I care? Am I going to die on a hill over one joke?” The answer is, “Of course, I’m going to die on a hill over one joke,” but then you sober up a few weeks later, and you say, “You know what…?”
The Hollywood star insisted that the joke was lacking in “intelligence” to start with so will not be “losing any sleep” over its omission.
He said: “The intelligence and merit of the joke is certainly debatable, but it’s the Pinocchio joke. It replaced what was there before, and I’m not losing any sleep over it. But I gotta say, when they ask that one thing, and they’ve just been partners at that level, which is rare in this business, and people who put their faith and trust in us to not only make a movie responsibly, and finish on time and on budget and get a day and a half of reshoots, which we’re both super proud of for any movie, that’s extraordinary, but particularly a comic book movie, you gotta take that stuff to heart, and you gotta be a good partner. We want to be good partners, always.”

Shayne admitted he will draw on his ‘X Factor’ experiences to “block” the live audience out on the programme.
He said on ‘Lorraine’: “I’m used to being in front of a live audience. People remember me from 2005 ‘X Factor’, so I know what it takes to be in front of a live audience and also try to block them out and imagine they’re not there.
“It’ll just be me and whoever I’m partnered up with, which I’m super excited about.”
Sarah revealed she was yet to tell her mum about signing up for the programme, and she can’t wait to be a part of the show’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
