OHMYGOSSIP — Phillip Schofield told Holly Willoughby she could “lick his face” as they reunited on ‘This Morning’.
The presenting duo were back together on Wednesday (09.02.22) as Phil had tested negative and was able to return after testing positive for COVID-19 last week, while Holly made her own comeback during his absence after spending three weeks in Italy filming ‘Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival’ with Lee Mack.
At the start of the ITV daytime show, Phil said: “You realise I am now fully anti-bodied up – you could now lick my face!”
Holly laughed and said she “actually could”, although she was worried about any backlash from viewers during the pandemic.
She quipped: “I know! I actually could! I’d be scared somebody might come in and pull us apart or something. I mean, you’re now…”
Phil added: “I’m bullet proof for 90 days – allegedly.”
His AGE-year-old co-host giggled and starting poking and stroking him, joking that she’d “work up” to more contact.
She said: “I’ll do that! That’s my beginning bit, let’s see if we get a very angry email now. We’ll work up to licking! Welcome back!”
The AGE-year-old star gave viewers some context for the exchange, reminding people that earlier in the pandemic, Holly said she’d lick his face when they were “finally” able to sit next to each other on set.
Now, she said: “We’re still not really officially allowed to, are we? Not yet. I feel like it’s soon. I feel like it’s really soon. My leg is actually touching your leg under the table.”
Phil joked their reunion was “like a first date”, and admitted he’s missed a lot during his COVID-19 absence.
He told Holly: “I have missed you too. I’ve missed this, I’ve missed telly. I’ve missed everything. I’ve cleaned every single cupboards in the kitchen. I’ve binged on stuff that I haven’t had time to watch…”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Packham has unveiled a pop-up habitat featuring an animatronic leopard in Central London.
The 60-year-old presenter has teamed up with National Geographic WILD on the live installation to mark the start of the network’s Big Cat Week and raise awareness of the threat to the species.
He said: “If we are to protect majestic creatures like leopards, we must stop the destruction of their natural habitat which is occurring at an alarming rate, with the latest research from the Big Cats Initiative showing leopards have lost over 75% of their natural habitat due to urban expansion, resulting in loss of food source and the ongoing threat to poachers and farmers.
“This spectacular installation marking the beginning of Big Cat Week on National Geographic WILD brings to life this natural habitat and asks passersby to consider how we can protect it.”
Meanwhile, Chris – who has narrated ‘Russia’s Wild Tiger’ and ‘Thailand’s Wild Cats’ for the network – hopes the pop-up habitat can inspire people.
He added: “Big Cat Week is such a special event to be a part of, so it was a joy to narrate the programming this year.
“With nature and big cats being a huge passion of mine, I hope this visual representation of a leopard’s beautiful home will allow the public to see just how important it is to save their habitats.”
He also hopes people can learn lessons about how to treat animals much closer to home.
He said: “In our country, if a fox kills chickens or a companion animal such as a rabbit, everyone jumps up and down saying they want to kill it. We want to protect our pets, but we have to look after the predators too.
“We have to learn to live with the predators – and the fox is quite a lot smaller and a lot less dangerous than a tiger.”
The four-dimensional installation – which has been unveiled at Observation Point in Southbank – puts leopards’ breathtaking wild habitat on display.
Lily was created by animatronic expert John Nolan – who has also worked on ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ – and the 1.3 metre long model has over 40 moving parts and a loud roar to surprise bystanders.
‘Big Cat Week’ will be broadcast on National Geographic WILD all this week.

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Cassidy claims she was fat-shamed by ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ producers.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who competed on the BBC’s Latin and ballroom show in 2009 alongside pro dancer Vicenzo Simone – has recalled an “out of order” comment allegedly made behind the scenes referencing her weight, as she noted she was “about four stone bigger” at the time than she is now.
Appearing on the ‘Ry-Union’ podcast, she told host Rylan Clark: “I was about four stone bigger than I am now.
“Vincenzo was quite little. And I remember one week, it was like, ‘Oh we’re going to do this dance, but you’re going to pick up Vincent’.
“And I think about it now and I think, ‘Oh, that was out of order. It was a bit out of order to me.’ You couldn’t do that now.”
However, Natalie – who has played Sonia Fowler on the BBC soap on and off since 1993 – loved being on ‘Strictly’, despite finishing in fifth place.
She said: “‘Strictly’ was the best job outside of ‘EastEnders’. I mean, job? That’s a laugh! Getting up, dancing all day, learning how to dance.”
And Natalie gushed over the “brother and sister” relationship with her dance partner and the “glitz and the glamour” of competing for the Glitterball.
She added: “I had lovely Vincenzo next to me. We were like brother and sister. All week we just laughed the whole time. We just had the best time and I loved it. I loved the glitz, the glamour.”
In 2019, Natalie ran the London Marathon in honour of Albert Square legend Dame Barbara Windsor – who sadly died in December 2020 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease – and credits changing her diet helped her get in shape.
She said: “I cut out rubbish. I cut down on alcohol too, even though I love white wine.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ will return to screens from 19th February.
The variety programme has been fronted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 46, since 2002 and will feature a live studio audience as well an array of celebrity guests.
Popular segments ‘Undercover ‘and ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Out Of Me Ear’ will both return for the new series, with Jeremy Clarkson and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Oti Mabuse set to take part.
Along with the Geordie duo, regular faces Fleur East and Andi Peters will also return to the series, and Stephen Mulhern, will continue putting the boys through high octane challenges with his ‘Ant vs Dec’ segments.
Viewer favourites ‘On Air Dares’ and ‘Singalong’ Live are both back along with a brand-new studio game with kids called ‘Kiddi-eoke’.
There will also be a new mini-series called ‘Polter Guys’, which will see the duo become Ghost Busters with the help of yet more famous faces including comedians Rob Delaney, Jo Brand and Tom Allen as well as Capital Breakfast presenter Roman Kemp and former ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ star Kadeena Cox.
Each episode’s grand finale segment – ‘The End of Show Show’ – will also make a return, and is set to feature the likes of Michael Buble and George Ezra, amongst others.
In a trailer for the show, a narrator explains: “It’s simple, take two cheeky chappies from Newcastle, add star-studded guests and what do you get?
It’s 90 minutes of live television, performed by consulate professionals who can handle anything.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa is among the celebrities who will take part in ‘All Star Musicals’.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress has admitted she “can’t wait” to take to the stage for the ITV show, and she is looking forward to her daughters Ella, six, and three-year-old Mia – who she shares with husband Dan Osborne – seeing her on the programme.
Jacqueline – who played Lauren Branning in the BBC One soap – said: “It’s thrilling and terrifying, and I can’t wait. My girls are going to love seeing me up on that stage.”
Earlier today (10.02.22), ‘Good Morning Britain’ entertainment reporter Richard Arnold revealed the show’s Alex Beresford is also among the star-studded line-up.
Teasing which ‘GMB’ star has signed up for the show – on which Elaine Paige and Samantha Barks will coach the celebs as they gear up to blurt out a classic theatre song – Richard said on the morning show: “Bringing the sound of music, while keeping you company, will be one of us Les Mis on the ‘Good Morning Britain’ panel, because anything goes here and we have to pay the rent.
“Not to mention, hairspray doesn’t come cheap. But who could it be? Let’s line up the candidates please …
“Could it be Susanna Reid? Could it be Alex Beresford? Adil Ray? Full frame and dramatic music, please.
“Will Adil be donning his technicolour dream coat? Well actually, here at ‘GMB’, everybody is talking about … Alex Beresford!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Happy Mondays star Bez feels “awful” that he’s remained on ‘Dancing on Ice’ when some of his fellow stars have been eliminated from the show.
The 57-year-old musician has been a hit with the ITV skating show’s fans, who have voted for him to remain in the competition so far, but Bez – who has been wearing a helmet under his costume during his skates – admits it has made him feel “really bad” to see Ben Foden, Ria Hebden, and Rachel Stevens depart.
He said: “I feel so awful for everyone, like Ben. He skated brilliantly and he was really strong, doing massive lifts on his first skate. I felt really bad.
“Then Ria went out and I felt really bad again. Then Rachel went and she’s so beautiful. I was like, ‘Aarrrgh!’
“We’ve got a group chat and I send my love and that in there.
“I just feel so awful. The judges having the final say is my only saving grace. That stops me completely crumbling about it.”
Bez admitted he is expecting to be voted off soon, so much so he has even been rehearsing the elimination process.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “Last week in the dress rehearsal I actually went through elimination. Now I know what it felt like to get eliminated.”
Bez’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ journey has been a disrupted one after he tested positive for coronavirus last month, shortly after making his debut on the ice.
Fortunately, Bez wasn’t due to skate the that weekend and he was able to return to the show the following week.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Partridge nearly lost his voice completely due to a cyst on his vocal cords.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star – who is currently performing at Proud Cabaret in London – has told how he came close to being left “unable to speak”, but fortunately doctors were able to remove the growth.
He is quoted by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column as saying: “I woke up one day and I couldn’t speak.
“It was in the middle of COVID so it took a while for them to find out what was wrong as no one wanted to look in someone’s mouth at that point.
“They found a cyst and removed it but I could have been left unable to speak, let alone sing, for the rest of my life.”
In April 2020, the 50-year-old star – who is best known for playing Christian Clarke in the BBC One soap – admitted appearing on ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ saved him from cocaine addiction.
The star saw off competition from reality star Spencer Matthews and former rugby player Martin Bayfield to find victory in the 2018 final, and he credits the show and cooking with saving his life.
He said: “Just preparing a meal is an act of self care and that was lacking in my life. I lost Mum in April 2017 and I was already down the wrong path.
“But in the six months that followed, I knew I needed to change. I just didn’t know how to do it and, more ¬importantly, I didn’t think that I could.
“I wasn’t a big drinker, I was a big snorter, yeah, that was my thing. The booze was really secondary, the coke was the thing that was my go to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Oti Mabuse will return to ‘The Masked Dancer’.
Bandicoot TV chief Derek McLean has confirmed the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro will once again be part of the panel on the ITV show, admitting it was a “no brainer” to sign her up again.
He said: “Yes, Oti will be back. She is great. She has that level of dance skill and her critical eye is so good for dance. It is a no-brainer that she is coming back.”
Derek also admitted Oti has an “unbelievable eye” for spotting masked stars, after she correctly identified ‘Strictly’ judge Craig Revel Horwood on last year’s ‘The Masked Dancer’.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column: “It is interesting that last year she was watching Knickerbocker Glory for weeks and not knowing who it was – and then the one time just as he walked off stage and he was no longer concentrating on hiding himself she realised it was Craig Revel Horwood from the way he walked.
“She recognised his gait and the way he walked. She has an unbelievable eye and she is very competitive, so she’s very good.”
Last year’s panel featured Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, and Oti.
This news comes after Oti – who is currently on the ‘Dancing on Ice’ judging panel – admitted it is “not for [her] to say” if she is returning to ‘Strictly’ later this year.
Asked if she would be “gutted” if she “didn’t have time” for the BBC show this year, Oti replied: “Everybody keeps asking me. It’s not for me to say.
“‘Strictly’ is such a big machine and no one is bigger than that show. To touch anything around ‘Strictly’ is such an honour and it will always be who I am. For everyone who’s on it and part of it on and off screen, we all truly love it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has joked he is “in love” with his daughter Dani Dyer’s footballer boyfriend.
The 44-year-old actor has quipped that he is probably “more in love” with West Ham star Jarrod Bowen than his daughter is.
During a conversation about Valentine’s Day on the ‘Sorted with the Dyers’ podcast, Danny said to his daughter: “I know you get very shy around this and maybe one day we will discuss it properly.
“It’s interesting I’m probably more in love with your boyfriend than you are.”
The ‘EastEnders’ actor is a passionate West Ham fan, and he loves that his daughter is dating one of the team’s star players.
Danny admitted he loves West Ham “more than anything else on this planet”.
He said: “West Ham are my one true love. I think I love West Ham more than anything else on this planet.”
Dani, 25, recently discussed her burgeoning relationship with the Premier League player.
The TV star described Jarrod as a “lovely guy”, and revealed they’re “enjoying getting to know each other”.
Dani – who has son Santiago, 12 months, with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence – said: “Everything is so early days. Jarrod is a lovely guy and we’re enjoying getting to know each other.
“But Santiago will always be my main priority, he will always come first. I am concentrating on being a mum and, beyond that, whatever happens, happens.”
Dani also revealed her dad is “invested” in the entire West Ham squad.
And the ‘Love Island’ star is delighted that her burgeoning romance with Jarrod, 25, has the support of Danny.
She shared: “He’s invested in all of the West Ham players because he supports the team and follows some of them.
“He’s like, ‘They’re all my friends.’ I’m like, ‘Right, OK, Dad.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — ITV2 is said to be developing a new show that looks for the worst cooks in the country.
TV bosses are currently on the lookout for the least-capable cooks in the UK for a new series called ‘Bad Chefs’, which has been partially inspired by Channel 4’s ‘Come Dine With Me’.
A TV insider explained: “While programmes like ‘Masterchef’ and ‘Great British Bake Off’ often make us feel inadequate, this is set to make us feel like we’re all Michelin-starred gastronomes.
“It is partly inspired by the likes of ‘Come Dine With Me’ where some of the biggest laughs come from the worst disasters.”
Despite this, it’s hoped the cooks will develop their culinary skills during their time on the show.
The source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “The aim isn’t just to give us the chance to poke fun at some unfortunate souls – even though that is an important part of the programme’s appeal.
“‘Bad Chefs’ also provides them with the opportunity to improve themselves and hopefully enhance their relationships, health or family life in the process.”
Dave Lamb – the narrator of ‘Come Dine with Me’ – previously confessed to being a terrible cook.
The 53-year-old actor started narrating the hit TV series in 2005, but it hasn’t improved his culinary skills at all and he’s happy to take a backseat in the kitchen.
Reflecting on his limitations as a cook, Dave shared: “I don’t cook at all at home because my wife Nikki is so good at it. She has a chef’s qualification and is really passionate about food.
“When we were first going out, I invited her round for a meal. She took one mouthful of my mushroom stroganoff and pushed the plate away.
“That was quite rude and a very cheffy thing to do, and the end of my cooking career!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has joined ‘Waterloo Road’.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress will star as school canteen worker Nicky Walters, who is also a mum to two pupils at the fictional school, in the returning BBC One drama.
She said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the fabulous cast of ‘Waterloo Road’, it’s such a joy to get the opportunity to film in Manchester again and I can’t wait to get going.”
‘Still Open All Hours’ star James Baxter has also joined the cast, as joint deputy head Joe Casey, who will share the job with character Lindon King, who will be played by Vincent Jerome.
Jo Coffey will play Wendy Whitwell, PA to headteacher Kim Campbell, a role which Angela Griffin will reprise.
Other stars who are joining the show are former ‘Corrie’ actress Rachel Leskovac as Coral Walker, the school’s head of English, and ‘Phoenix Nights’ star Neil Fitzmaurice will play history teacher Neil Guthrie.
It comes after Angela, Adam Thomas (Donte Charles) and Katie Griffiths (Chlo Charles) were all confirmed to be returning to the rebooted show.
Executive Producer Cameron Roach said: “We’re incredibly excited to announce our new cast, and we believe that alongside the return of Kim Campbell we’re creating some new iconic characters for the next generation of ‘Waterloo Road’.
“We look forward to the audience joining them in the staff room.”
Adam recently admitted he feels “blessed” to be returning to ‘Waterloo Road’.
The star – who made his acting breakthrough as Donte in the school drama from 2006 to 2009 before making an even bigger name for himself in ‘Emmerdale’ – said: “I’m so excited to go back to where it all started!
“‘Waterloo Road’ was a huge part of my life and career so to go back 15 years later is a dream come true.
“I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to get back to acting and doing what I love!
“I can’t wait to see some old faces and some new. I know this series is going to be the best one yet.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Walsh’s midwife worked on the ‘EastEnders’ set in 2021.
The 34-year-old actress and Toby-Alexander Smith welcomed their daughter Bonnie on December 27, and the soap star power couple have now revealed their midwife, Tamsyn, previously provided labour-related advice on the ‘EastEnders’ set.
Toby-Alexander – who plays Gray Atkins in ‘EastEnders’ – shared: “Tamsyn was overseeing that the actors were doing the right thing.
“We were chatting and she was saying she is a midwife at the same hospital we were going to. I took her number and we ended up having some private antenatal classes with her.
“She said, ‘If you’re happy to have me, I’d love to be part of your labour journey.’ So we said, ‘Absolutely.’ The minute we met Tamsyn, we trusted her.”
Amy – who plays the part of Tracy Metcalfe in ITV’s ‘Emmerdale’ – described the midwife as an “angel”.
She told OK! magazine: “To have someone familiar at that hospital was great. She was like a friend on call all the time.”
The actress also revealed that parenthood has already exceeded her expectations.
Amy said: “We both look at her and cry! All she has to do is open her eyes and look up at you and it sets you off.”
The loved-up couple met in the audience at ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2019, and the pair previously admitted they were surprised to get pregnant so quickly.
Toby-Alexander said: “There’s never a perfect time.
“You could always think, ‘We could do with a bigger house or investing more time in our careers,’ but if you’ve met the right person then that’s it.”
Amy actually feared she might struggle to conceive after she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries when she was 20 years old.
She said: “I always thought falling pregnant was going to be a battle.
“Toby knew how worried I was, especially as I’m a bit older.
“I did wonder if it would ever happen for me, so it feels like a blessing.”
