Mamma Mia 3 is in the works, says Christine Baranski

OHMYGOSSIP — Plans to make ‘Mamma Mia 3’ are already in the works.
Christine Baranski – who has starred in the ‘Mamma Mia’ film franchise – has revealed that producer Judy Kramer is currently working on the next movie in the series.
The 72-year-old actress told The Hollywood Reporter: “I was in London with Judy Kramer at our favourite watering hole, she is planning ‘Mamma Mia 3’. She gave me the narrative plotline of how it’s going to happen. That’s all I can say!
“But, it’s not like, ‘Oh, I wish it could happen!’ Judy Kramer makes things happen.”
The ‘Mamma Mia’ franchise has featured the likes of Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgard and Meryl Streep, and Christine believes that Judy has the pulling power to reunite the star-studded cast for a new movie.
The actress explained: “[Judy] made number two happen, and it was a phenomenal hit. I wouldn’t put it past Judy Kramer to get everybody back together.”
Christine is convinced that the next movie will prove to be a huge hit at the box office.
The Hollywood star – who plays the part of Tanya Chesham-Leigh in the franchise – said: “People are drawn to happiness and to joy, not doom and gloom.
“‘Mamma Mia’ made so many millions of people around the world happy. Is it a little dumb, a little campy? That’s part of its charm.
“When I’m in Europe, I can’t tell you how many little girls want to be photographed with Tanya. It troubles me a little, that Tanya’s their favourite character. But, hey, we’re always attracted to that kind of snappy, sexy lady.”

Mark Wahlberg remains committed to The Six Million Dollar Man

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wahlberg remains determined to make ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’.
The 53-year-old actor announced plans to make a reboot of the classic sci-fi movie around a decade ago, and despite various delays and frustrations, Mark has revealed that he remains committed to the project.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Mark joked: “You know, I have one superhero movie in mind, and it’s ‘The Six Billion Dollar Man’, formally known as ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’, gone up due to inflation.
“It’s grounded, and it’s plausible, real. You know, there is lots of bionics technology and science happening right now. So this is something that has all the wish fulfilment of a superhero, incredible things.
“But I don’t have to wear one of those suits. I don’t have the confidence to walk around in one of those suits.”
By contrast, Mark previously admitted that he was struggling to get the project off the ground.
The Hollywood star believes that he has “an amazing screenplay” in the works – but he’s been frustrated by all of the delays he’s faced over the years.
Speaking to Collider in 2020, Mark quipped: “I think we’re about to call it … by the time it comes out, we’re going to call it ‘Sixty-year-old Six Billion Dollar Man’. We’ll have to change the title then, at least then you’ll know why.
“You know it’s one of those things we just have to get right. I think we have an amazing idea; we’ll have an amazing screenplay. We’re supposed to get it this Friday, so I’m thinking this week, and hopefully, we’ll then, you know, pick a start date and a release date and go make the movie.”

Marvin Humes hails Jedward for ‘amazing’ The Hit List appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Marvin Humes says that Jedward were “amazing” contestants on ‘The Hit List’.
The ‘X Factor’ twins – whose real names are John and Edward Grimes – feature in a celebrity special during the new series of the BBC music quiz show and Marvin, who hosts alongside his wife Rochelle Humes, was impressed at the amount of “name dropping” the pair did during filming.
The JLS singer is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “Jedward were absolutely amazing. They were so up for it and so many amazing stories to share.
“They were name dropping constantly… everyone from Whitney Houston to Gemma Collins!”
Marvin also praised the Irish pair’s performance when it came down to the serious business of answering questions.
The 39-year-old star said: “During the gameplay, they were unstoppable. We were so impressed.”
Other celebrities featuring in the new series include 1980s icon Rick Astley, McFly drummer Harry Judd and ‘The Chase’ brainbox Paul Sinha and Rochelle says it can be interesting watching “confident” celebrities making fools of themselves on the programme.
The 35-year-old presenter, who found fame in girl group The Saturdays, said: “With the celebrity episodes, the contestants have this confidence that they’re going to perform really well, so sometimes it’s quite amazing to watch how the mighty fall.”
Marvin described how celebrity contestants can cause a headache for the production team if they do not know the songs in question.
He said: “Although the celebrities are a lot of fun, we often run out of songs because the celebrity contestants keep skipping them instead of answering the question.”

Amanda Abbington supported by ex-partner Martin Freeman amid Strictly Come Dancing scandal

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Abbington is being supported by her former partner Martin Freeman during the ongoing ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ scandal.
The 50-year-old actress has made a complaint about the behaviour of her professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice after she withdrew from last year’s series of the BBC favourite and has been given a boost by the support of her ‘Sherlock’ co-star – who she was in a relationship with for 16 years and has children Joe, 18, and Grace, 16, with.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Martin has made a point of making sure Amanda is OK with everything that has happened recently.
“They share two children together so have always remained close.
“He was worried and concerned about the things Amanda has been going through.”
Amanda – who says she has received death threats in the wake of her complaints – described Giovanni’s behaviour during rehearsals as “abusive, cruel and mean” and felt that ‘Strictly’ bosses should have a “duty of care” to contestants on the show.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I found Giovanni’s behaviour unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean. I couldn’t sit back and let him do that to other people.
“I had to think long and hard about making a complaint because I knew the backlash I would get. But I would not have been able to live with myself for future people going on that show.
“I know what happened in that room, it’s on video and I have no problem with anyone seeing that. It’s a duty of care that is needed.
“Rehearsal rooms should be a safe space, there is a duty of care and kindness, and that courtesy wasn’t extended to me on this job.
“I was being as amenable as possible and it wasn’t being reciprocated, that’s all.
“And I wanted to complain about it because I didn’t think it was fair — this is a publicly owned company.”

Ed Balls takes break from hosting Good Morning Britain

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls is taking a break from ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The politician-turned-broadcaster caused controversy last week when he interviewed his wife and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper about the riots in the UK and has now revealed that he will be taking some time away from presenting duties on the ITV breakfast show.
Ed – who pivoted to broadcasting when he competed on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ after losing his seat in Parliament at the 2015 General Election – wrote on Instagram: “What better way to celebrate the start of summer holidays than with a pavlova – our family favourite – loved working with Kate (Garraway) last week during such national turbulent times.
“I’m back with Susanna (Reid) at the beginning of September when schools and Parliament return – see you soon.”
ITV defended Ed interviewing his wife by labelling the conversation as “balanced, fair and duly impartial” amid the backlash.
A spokesperson for the network said: “Following a weekend of rioting and national unrest, ‘GMB’ featured a range of interviews and discussion around this national emergency on today’s programme, which included James Cleverly, shadow home secretary, and Yvette Cooper, home secretary.
“We are satisfied that these interviews were balanced, fair and duly impartial.”
This came after Ofcom stated that they were “assessing” the thousands of grievances.
The regulator said: “We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”

Love Is Blind UK will have one-off reunion after final episodes

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Is Blind UK’ will return for a one-off reunion special.
The Netflix reality show – which sees the iconic formula of couples getting to know each other without seeing each other in ‘pods’ before deciding if they want to get engaged before trying to make it work out in the open coming to Blighty – will be coming back to screens on 26 August once the final episodes have aired to get the cast back together with the hosts and real-life married couple Emma Willis, 48, and Matt Willis, 41.
A synopsis of the show – which is currently dropping on the streaming service in installments – said: “It will reunite the cast for the first time since their ‘I do’ or ‘I don’t’ moments. They’ll look back on their time in the experiment and answer all our burning questions.”
Sam Klein – who departed the show after his engagement with Nicole was broken off before all the fiancees went to Corfu – recently spoke out about how the show framed him as the “villain” after the other contestants questioned whether he was there for love or fame.
The 31-year-old project design manager said on Instagram on Sunday (11.08.24): “The show was intense and high-pressure, and the editing hasn’t really worked in my favour. But my connection with Nicole in the pods was genuine and she’s an amazing person.”
He added: “I guess someone had to play the villain.”
When asked if he was peeved with how the “show perceived you as not genuine,” he responded: “I guess it was TV gold.”
This comes after he told the 29-year-old marketing executive – who was also romantically interested in structural landscaper Benaiah – that “I think I love you” twice on the show; once in the pod and for the second time after he popped the question to her.

Halle Berry wants to give Catwoman ‘another shot’

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Berry would love to play Catwoman again.
The 58-year-old actress portrayed the DC Comics character in the heavily criticised 2004 eponymous flick which also starred Sharon Stone, Benjamin Bratt and Lambert Wilson and was directed by Pitof.
Despite the blockbuster being panned, Halle would be happy to suit up as the character again if the opportunity arose.
Speaking to the Canadian Press at the premiere of ‘The Union’, she said: “I would bring back Catwoman, if I really got a chance to. I think what happened to her the first time around was unfair.
“I think she’s way underrated, and I would love to give it another shot.”
Recently, Berry reflected on the film for its 20th anniversary, and criticised its story for being “a bit soft”.
She told Entertainment Weekly: “I always thought the idea of Catwoman saving women from a face cream felt a bit soft. All the other superheroes save the world; they don’t just save women from cracked faces.
“I always knew that was a soft superhero plight, but at that time in my career, I didn’t have the agency I have today or belief that I could challenge that, so I went along with it.”
While she “didn’t love” the backlash to the film, the ‘X-Men’ star emphasised the negativity surrounding the movie didn’t “derail” her, and added she was able to see the funny side of things when she received the Razzie Award for the Worst Actress in 2005.
She explained: “I didn’t want to be casual about it, but I went and collected that Razzie, laughed at myself, and kept it moving.
“A little bad publicity about a movie? I didn’t love it, but it wasn’t going to stop my world or derail me from doing what I love to do.
”
Although she could laugh off most of the criticisms, Halle – who played mutant superhero Storm in the ‘X-Men’ movies – is annoyed that “to this day, it’s [her] failure”.
She lamented: “I know I can carry it. I still have a career 20 years later. It’s just part of my story. “That’s okay, and I’ve carried other failures and successes. People have opinions, and sometimes they’re louder than others. You just have to keep moving.”

James Cameron will direct Avatar 4 and 5 ‘unless he’s hit by a bus’

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cameron is determined to direct the ‘Avatar’ sequels “unless [he’s] hit by a bus”.
The 69-year-old filmmaker is currently working on the third movie in the sci-fi series, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, but he is already looking to the future and is wholly dedicated to helm the next two planned instalments unless he ends up “in an iron lung”.
When The Hollywood Reporter asked Cameron if he was still planning to helm the franchise past the third instalment, he said: “Sure. Absolutely. I mean, they’re going to have to stop me.
“I got plenty of energy, love doing what I’m doing. Why would I not? And they’re written, by the way.
“I just reread both of them about a month ago. They’re cracking stories. They’ve got to get made. Look, if I get hit by a bus and I’m in an iron lung, somebody else is going to do it.”
The ‘Titanic’ director also recently confirmed Michelle Yeoh, 62, would be debuting in the franchise as Dr. Karina Mogue in the fourth instalment instead of the upcoming ’Fire and Ash’ – which is due to release on 19 December 2025.
Cameron told Entertainment Weekly: “Michelle Yeoh won’t be in 3. She’s in 4 and 5.”
He continued: “She will be coming in soon to do her part, which is an interesting, fun character.
“I mean, we’re getting ahead of ourselves now. This whole thing has been planned for years and years. The scripts were all written years ago, through the end of movie 5. So we’ve been working on parts of 4 even as we go along, mostly because we’ve got this young cast. We had to shoot them all while they were still young.
“We love Michelle. She was always a movie star, but she’s blown up into a huge, huge phenomenon. I look forward to working there.”
Speaking about the upcoming blockbuster at Disney’s recent D23 event – which took place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California – Cameron teased what audiences could expect when the third flick hit theatres next year.
He said: “The characters are so alive, and it feels so real. It’s also got very high emotional stakes — more than ever before.
“We’re going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love. The new film is not what you expect, but it’s definitely what you want.”

Ridley Scott’s notes about Alien: Romulus made director Fede Álvarez ‘punch the door’ in excitement

OHMYGOSSIP — Ridley Scott’s notes about ‘Alien: Romulus’ made director Fede Álvarez “punch the door” and “kick the wall” after he read them.
The 86-year-old filmmaker was happy to give Álvarez, 46, some advice on how to make the sci-fi blockbuster which is set in the world of the Xenomorph which Scott created with his 1979 space horror classic ‘Alien’ starring Sigourney Weaver.
Scott has now shared the excited reaction he received from Fede after he went over his tips.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “I was hugely relieved that it was potentially a huge film and I just said, ‘You don’t have to take a note, but I’ll tell you what I think.’ Instead of talking, I’d sit down and take notes. And he reads them privately. [He then] kicks the wall, punches the door, and then comes back and says, ’They were good notes.’”
The ‘Gladiator II’ filmmaker was “impressed” with Álvarez’s work on the movie and how quickly he took on board his feedback, particularly when it came to the movie’s runtime.
Scott added: “Mostly, directors tend to it too long; it was long so you don’t want to lose your dynamic. The dynamics in this kind of movie are everything, and he had so much going on; he didn’t need so much.”
‘Alien: Romulus’ – which stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu – is set between the events of ‘Alien’ and 1986’s ‘Aliens’, which was directed by James Cameron.
Álvarez admitted it was a daunting prospect to enter the franchise, which also includes David Fincher’s ‘Alien 3’, Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s ‘Alien Resurrection’ and Scott’s prequels as well as other spin-offs.
He said: “‘Alien’ has always been the scariest movie ever for me, so to be able to go into that world and bring it to a new generation, and bring it to life in a way it’s never been brought to life before and in such a realistic and almost documentary way, it really was the things that made all my nightmares.”
Álvarez wanted to honour the original movies by using as many practical effects as possible instead of computer-generated visuals.
He explained: “Obviously it’s easier to just shoot an empty space and get some CG creature later on; we didn’t do that.
“We went all the way to create creatures — we did technology of today with the philosophy of the old movies, but with technology of today to create something that people don’t see onscreen everyday.”

Ryan Reynolds offers to return as Deadpool if it helps Channing Tatum get Gambit film greenlit

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds will suit up again as Deadpool if it will help get Channing Tatum’s ‘Gambit’ movie get off the ground.
The 44-year-old actor has been attached to the character since 2014, and was due to star as the mutant superhero in his own film before the project was shelved five years later.
However, since Tatum’s surprise appearance as the X-Men team member in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, both the actor and audiences have pleaded for the ‘Gambit’ flick to get the greenlight, and Reynolds, 47, has now insisted he’ll do “anything” to make sure this becomes a reality.
In a post on his Instagram Stories, Reynolds wrote: “It’s impossible not to love and root for [Channing Tatum].
“When he makes a ‘Gambit’ movie, I’ll return the favour. If he needs someone to carry sandbags, I’m in. If he needs a Deadpool, I can do that. Someone to provide fresh orange slices to the crew, no problem. Name it.”
Tatum recently said that he hoped his cameo in the recent Marvel film would revive the ‘Gambit’ movie.
When Variety asked the ‘Magic Mike’ star if he thinks the overwhelmingly positive reaction to his appearance in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ would kick-start work on his own movie, he said: “I sure hope so. From your mouth to God’s ears. Write it into existence, my friend. Please.”
Tatum went on to reveal he’s made it clear to studio boss Kevin Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger he’s still interested in playing the comic book character who can control kinetic energy.
He shared: “[Of] course I’ve said it. I’ve been saying I want it for the last 10 years. It’s in Bob Iger and Kevin Feige’s hands. I pray to God.”
The ‘Blink Twice’ actor previously thanks Reynolds for allowing him to finally become Gambit.
In a post on Instagram, he said: “There is almost no one that has had my back in this industry more than Ryan. I thought I had lost Gambit forever. But he fought for me and Gambit. I will owe him probably forever.
“Cause I’m not sure how I could ever do something that would be equal to what this has meant to me. I love ya buddy … All things happen for a reason. I’m so grateful to be in this movie. It’s a masterpiece in my opinion. And just pure bad ass joy. I was literally screaming in the theatre.”

Les Dennis compares Strictly Come Dancing to Black Swan

OHMYGOSSIP — Les Dennis has likened his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ experience to the film ‘Black Swan’.
The former ‘Family Fortunes’ host was the first contestant to be eliminated from the BBC show last year and, although he had a “great” time during his brief stint, explained that it was similar to the horror movie as the professional dancers were desperate to push the stars out of their “comfort zones”.
Discussing the recent controversies surrounding the alleged treatment of celebrity contestants on ‘Strictly’, Les told ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’: “I was only there for two weeks and you rehearse with your partner separately.
“I was in a bubble at home or wherever I was on tour – I was in ’42nd Street’ at the time – but I have to say that my experience was great.
“I mean, it’s the hardest thing ever. I used to joke with friends that I felt like I was in ‘Black Swan’.
“It is (tough) because your professional partner wants to win as much as you do, and really wants to push you outside of your comfort zone.”
When asked by presenter Richard Madeley if “tensions” may have arisen due to the competitive nature of the pro dancers, Les answered: “Might be, yeah.”
The 70-year-old star has plenty of experience on both stage and screen but conceded that he was fearful before stepping onto the dance floor on the “iconic” programme.
Asked if he felt nervous, the former ‘Coronation Street’ actor said: “Absolutely – it’s such an iconic show, and you’re going well outside your comfort zone.
“People said to me, ‘Well, you’ve done musicals before…’ but I only ever played the comedian.
“Soft shoe shuffle is about as much as I do.”

‘It’s incredible’: Dominic Brunt can’t believe his Emmerdale longevity

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic Brunt finds it “incredible” that he has been in ‘Emmerdale’ for 27 years.
The 54-year-old actor has played vet Paddy Kirk in the ITV soap since 1997 and confessed that he has no idea how his life would’ve turned out had he not taken the part.
Asked if he still experiences pinch-me moments after so long on ‘Emmerdale’, Dominic told the Metro newspaper’s Sixty Seconds column: “All the time. Me and Mark Charnock, who plays Marlon Dingle, talk about that constantly. I was a welder so I don’t know what the alternative was if I hadn’t thought, ‘I’ll give it a go for a few years and see what happens.’
“It’s been brilliant and we still love the job. I never go upstairs and ask what the storylines are, because I like getting the scripts. It never passes me by how lucky I am and what a privilege it is to be in the job. It’s incredible, really.”
Dominic’s alter ego is set to marry first wife Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) again this week on the soap and says he has never had a “boring day” working with the former ‘Fat Friends’ star.
He said: “Lisa has been a really good and strong friend for years and it’s lovely to be working with her again. She’s absolutely crackers – she drives me insane but in the best possible way! Never a boring day.”
Dominic intends to keep playing Paddy for as long as ‘Emmerdale’ bosses will have him as he also keeps busy away from the Dales by working on horror films with his wife Joanne Mitchell.
He explained: “I’ve got my outlet with the stuff I do with Jo – that keeps everything fresh.
“‘Emmerdale’ have made episodes I’ve been thrilled to bits with, so the fact I’m still here 27 years later is ridiculous and I owe them everything.
“It beats welding – and I loved welding. As long as it lasts, I’ll be there and I’ll be grateful for it.”

Kelly Brook’s ‘persona’ was stripped away on Celebrity Race Across The World

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook lost her “persona” on ‘Celebrity Race Across The World’.
The 44-year-old model and TV star created a glamorous alter ego for her modelling career that was not present during the BBC One show in which she and her husband Jeremy Parisi are one of four pairs of stars racing across South America.
Kelly told Metro.co.uk: “You’re dealing with stuff Kelly Brook doesn’t deal with: Kelly Brook gets a car. Kelly Brook has a glam team. Kelly Brook has dinner bought for her.
“On ‘Celebrity Race Across The World’, Mrs Parisi didn’t have a phone; didn’t have any money; had to get the bus everywhere, and didn’t have a glam team.
“But I’m not even sure if the person you get on the show exists outside of that scenario. We all have different faces and different situations bring those out.”
Kelly – whose competition on the show includes BBC Radio 2 DJ Scott Mills, 51, TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 45, and ‘Ted Lasso’ actor Kola Bokinni, 32 – explained that her judo fighter husband’s “competitive” animal emerged during the race from Brazil to Chile.
She said: “He went into this competitive mode and I’d never seen that side to him before – whereas I thought I was on holiday mode.”
The former ‘Celebrity Juice’ star detailed how Jeremy would “get very quiet and refuse to eat” in an attempt to save money amid fears they were losing out in the race.
Kelly said: “He would go on hunger strike to not spend money.
“You cannot say no to the rotisserie chicken. But Jeremy did. He would sit there with an espresso, just glaring at me, and I’d have a plate of beans and rice, the most amazing steak you’ve ever seen, and a jug of red wine. I loved it.”

Chloe Madeley has rows with ex-husband James Haskell about co-parenting

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Madeley says she argues with her ex-husband James Haskell about co-parenting their daughter Bodhi a lot.
The TV star – who is the daughter of former ‘This Morning’ hosts Richard Madeley, 68, and Judy Finnigan, 76 – revealed that she is often in conflict with her former spouse about how to share custody of their two-year-old daughter.
The 36-year-old television personality told Closer magazine: “We have always found a way to do it but it’s not always great.
“We have really hard times with it sometimes.
“We also still argue – there is no denying that and it will probably be this way forever.”
Chloe added that while some days can be “tricky” there are stretches when they can be “very good friends”.
The blonde beauty recently defended retired rugby player James from the perception that he isn’t a “nice guy”.
She told The Sun newspaper: “There’s kind of like a heavy insinuation that he’s not a nice guy.
“And look, James and I went through our battles. But we’re co-parenting really well, and 50 per cent of that accolade is on him.
“I want him to have some of that respect from people, which I don’t see him getting.”
The couple separated last September after five years of marriage during a period when their ITV reality show ‘Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair’ was airing.
James said: “Chloe and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.”
Chloe added: “Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time.
“Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”

The 84-year-old broadcaster had been married to hairdresser Stephen since 1998 but the family confirmed on Wednesday (14.08.24) that he had passed away following a long illness.
A statement read: “It is with huge sadness and very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Stephen Way, Gloria’s beloved husband, who lost his battle yesterday afternoon.
“Stephen had been heroically fighting his illness… but always with great tenacity and a positive spirit.”
The ‘Loose Women’ star also paid tribute to her husband as she remembered him as an “incredibly kind, generous man” and noted that she will “always cherish” the 25 years she got to spend with him.
She said: “Stephen was a gentleman and a giant of a man, who will leave the most enormous void not only in my life but our entire family.
“He was an incredibly kind, generous, and caring man with a delightfully quirky sense of humour which remained till the end.
“We had a tremendously happy 25-year marriage and did so many beautiful and exciting things together that I will always cherish.”
Gloria was initially married to Don Keating and had Caron – who died in 20024 at the age of 41 following a battle with cancer – with him as well as sons Paul and Michael.
The ‘Rip Off Britain’ host divorced Don in 1992 and he passed away in 1997 at the age of 62.
Last year, Gloria and Stephen celebrated their silver wedding anniversary and the couple returned to Kent castle, where they tied the knot, to mark the occasion.
At the time, she told Hello! Magazine: “I can remember walking into the church, filled with family and friends, and the candles all lit – it was wonderful. We’ve often said we would love to live it all over again.
“Of course, there is physical attraction, but our relationship is full of kindness and humour. We enjoy talking to each other. Talk, talk, talk – that is a wonderful thing.”

‘I never imagined our story would end…’ Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury split after five years

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have split.
The couple – who finished as runners-up during the 2019 series of the ITV2 reality dating show – have decided to call off their engagement after five years together.
Molly-Mae, 25, announced that she and Tommy, also 25, were through in an emotional statement posted to her Instagram account, telling her 7.9 million followers that her focus now is on their 19-month-old daughter Bambi.
She wrote: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.
“After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.”
Molly-Mae will be taking a step back from social media and work commitments as she attempts to come to terms with life without Tommy.
She added: “Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right.
“Molly-Mae x”
The shock news comes just two months after Molly-Mae told her Instagram fans that she and the boxer – the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – were planning to tie the knot in 2025 and that they had been closer than ever after becoming parents to Bambi.
She said: “I think Bambi has made us closer. Any bickers we have are never actually about her! Parenting together, especially recently has been amazing.”
The pair got engaged in July 2023 when Tommy staged a surprise proposal during a trip to Ibiza, and presented Molly-Mae with a £600,000 ring.
