Lauren Goodger considered abortion

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Goodger considered an abortion after falling pregnant again just eight weeks after giving birth.
The 35-year-old reality TV star welcomed daughter Larose in July 2021 and two months later, she and former partner Charles Drury discovered they were expecting again.
Lauren told The Sun newspaper’s Fabulous magazine: “I was in two minds. I wasn’t sure of the right thing to do and was worried if all this would be fair on Larose.
“I didn’t want her to feel confused — she’s been my number one and I would never want her to think that had changed. Plus, the situation with me and Charlie wasn’t great.
“Everybody said, ‘Lauren, don’t go ahead — you’re fine with one child’. There was a lot to think about.”
However, Lauren ultimately decided to go ahead with her second pregnancy and her new baby daughter will be born in July.
She said: “I thought, ‘I’m going to do it by myself’. And I’ve stuck with that. Being a single mum doesn’t scare me. It will be a challenge, but what a lovely challenge.”
Lauren, 35, also revealed that Charles, 24, has been supportive, even though they are no longer a couple.
She said: “He 100 per cent wanted this baby, regardless of our situation. It was always going to be my choice, but he never once said he wanted me to have a termination.
“I have no worries when it comes to Charlie. He loves Larose and will love the new baby just as much.
“He’s always been there and wants to be involved, but it’s going to be mainly on me as the mother, especially when I’m breastfeeding. I wouldn’t want it any other way, though. I don’t have a nanny because I want to do it all myself.”

Danniella Westbrook wants to join Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook wants to join ‘Coronation Street’.
The 48-year-old actress is best known for playing Sam Mitchell in the BBC soap ‘EastEnders’ on and off from 1990 until 2016 but Danniella now has her sights set on joining rival shows ‘Coronation Street’ or ‘Emmerdale’.
Speaking on GB News’ ‘Mark Dolan Tonight’, she said: “I’m looking to the future. ‘Eastenders’ was great, I grew up in front of the nation. But it’s in the past. I am so RIP Sam Mitchell!
“I would love to do ‘Emmerdale’ or ‘Corrie’. I would also love to get back into stage acting where it all started for me. I will be 50 next year and I’d love to one day play Momma in ‘Chicago’.”
Danniella has had a public battle with drug addiction for many years and said it all started when she was abused as a child.
She said: “My drug abuse started well before I was famous. I was sexually abused as a child but I’ve managed to move on a lot with my life.
“And I don’t blame my addiction on that. It was where I was introduced to drugs but it wasn’t the cause.
“Because I am an addict, I would have a problem with lots of things whether it be coffee or something else. I can’t put my issues down to being abused or being famous.
“I am happy today that I’m OK. I live for the moment, I live for today. If I don’t put my recovery first I don’t have a life and my children don’t have a mother and my parents don’t have a child.
“I will never take my condition for granted. I had 14 years of being clean then relapsed so I will always say, every day, that I am in recovery.”

I’m A Celeb to avoid World Cup clash

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ will reportedly air earlier this year, to avoid a clash with the World Cup.
The show – which will return to the Australian jungle for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began – is set to be moved from its late November slot, in order to prevent viewers having to choose between it and the FIFA World Cup.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Two of ITV’s biggest juggernauts – not just of the season but the whole year – are ‘I’m A Celeb’ and its international football coverage.
“So it makes sense to keep them apart, and as the World Cup isn’t going to budge, it makes sense to move Ant and Dec.
“The last thing anyone wants is for viewers to have to choose between the latest from the jungle and a big game.
“At the moment nothing has been confirmed – but whatever ITV do will be in the best interests of viewers.”
The Qatar World Cup will start on November 21 this year, with the final set to be played on December 18.
An ITV spokesperson said: “It’s too early to confirm scheduling for the show.”

Hugh Grant wanted for Doctor Who

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Grant is in negotiations to star in ‘Doctor Who’.
Jodie Whittaker is set to depart the lead role later this year, and with Russel T. Davies taking charge of the programme again ahead of its 60th anniversary next year, he’s said to be keen to bring the ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ actor into the TARDIS to “bring a fresh feel” to the role.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “He offers many attributes – great actor, British, award-winning, Hollywood A-lister and excellent at comedy. Conversations are in progress.”
Russell is said to have big plans for the series and wants to establish a multiverse for various spin-off projects.
The insider added: “The vision is that the show can be a Marvel-like product, building franchises around the Doctor and other key characters in his many lives.”
And with Sony Pictures TV, who own a majority stake in Wolf Studios, who make the show, on board for the plans, as well as BBC Worldwide commerical, it’s hoped any spin-offs will be huge global successes.
The source said: “With the utmost respect to the BBC, in the past attempts like Torchwood were made on a very limited budget in locations around Wales. Now the world is Russell’s oyster.”
Executive producer Matt Strevens recently teased Jodie’s regeneration episode will be “massive”.
He said: “When they approached Chris [Chibnall], saying: ‘We’d love you to do one more – we know the production schedule’s really tight, but what do you think about doing a special for the centenary of the BBC?’, it was a no-brainer.’
“The final story is a massive, feature-length epic – it was huge to shoot – with lots of surprises for fans of all ages. Jodie gets a really good send-off. I think it will push everybody’s buttons.”

George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy honoured at PGA Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy were honoured with the Milestone Award at the Producers Guild of America (PGA) Awards on Saturday (19.03.22).
Director Steven Spielberg handed over the accolade to the Lucasfilm bosses, who he has worked with for decades, and praised the pair for their “courage and utter lack of intimidation” when it comes to getting things done in order to make the best movies they can.
He said: “I feel even in this room, we need to define what producers do. Producers do whatever the hell it takes. Courage and imagination and utter lack of intimidation, the producer needs to know everybody’s jobs, and not how to do them, but how they are done well, which is what makes George and Kathy so deserving of this recognition.”
In her acceptance speech, Kathleen, the company’s president, noted she had met George and Steven at the “dawning of a new age” for the industry.
She added: “We worked side by side through one revolution in our industry after another — revolutions not only in the means of moviemaking, and in the ways movies reach audiences, but also in the composition of our business.
“As women, artists of colour, LGBTQ and differently labeled artists and producers who have fought for and won a place at the table, propelling our community toward a more inclusive, diverse, richer, more sophisticated and nuanced sense of our responsibilities for social, racial and economic justice.
“There’s no one that I would rather share this moment with more than my friend, my mentor and the greatest master Jedi of them all: George.”
George thanked his former mentor, Francis Ford Coppola, and then delivered a passionate speech about the role of a producer.
He said: “To me, that’s the first and foremost job of a producer, which is to do the impossible. And you do it every single day. And then every single day, something comes along to destroy everything you’ve done. And you have to pick it all up at lunch, and figure out a new way to finish the movie, in conjunction with the director, and it’s daunting to say the least.
“But a producer never works alone. One, you have to have a great crew. I’ve always had the best crews,” he said. “I couldn’t have done it without them. And so I think my job also is to gather them all together and inspire them to be the best they can be.”
Elsewhere at the ceremony – which took place at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles – ‘Coda’ won the night’s biggest award, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, taking the prize ahead of ‘Being the Ricardos’, ‘Don’t Look Up’, ‘Dune’,’King Richard’, ‘Belfast’, ‘Licorice Pizza’, ‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’, ‘The Power of the Dog’, and ‘West Side Story’.
Producer Philippe Rousselet – who was joined on stage by director Sian Heder and stars Marlee MAtlin, Daniel Durant and Troy Kotsur, as well as other members of the production team – said: “I think we will all agree that a good movie always starts with a good story. As a producer I’ve always been drawn to stories that are filled with humanity and in a world where we see the lack of it every day, I’ll take this award as a sign that there’s still hope.”
Denis Villeneuve presented Mary Parent with the David O. Selznick Award, while Rita Moreno received the Stanley Kramer Award from Jessica Chastain.
Issa Rae was honoured with the Visionary Award, and Greg Berlanti took home the Norman Lear Award.
Other winners on the night included ‘Succession’, ‘Summer of Soul’, and ‘Encanto’.

Robbie Williams struggling to cast biopic young lead

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is reportedly worried about his biopic after struggling to find an actor to play his younger self.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker and director Michael Gracey recently held secret auditions to cast the lead in ‘Better Man’ but were stunned when they were unable to find a young actor with the confidence to pull off the role, leaving the former Take That singer concerned the project will end up indefinitely delayed.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Michael and Robbie held top-secret auditions to find a star to play the young Robbie recently.
“They didn’t meet anyone they were confident could pull it off.
“Robbie is stunned at how difficult the project has been to get made. And now he’s starting to worry it’s never going to make it to the big screen and he’ll look foolish for hyping it up.
“The London-based studio, Rocket Science, is handling international sales on the project and is hoping for a big hit.
“Robbie has fans all over the world and his story is not short of drama. But if they can’t find a star charismatic enough to play him, the whole house of cards is going to come falling down and it’ll end up in development hell.”
The ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker is due to have an upcoming Australian concert recorded for the film, with fans attending the show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena asked to wear 90s clothing as Robbie will be digitally altered to look as he did back then.
The movie will tell the story of Robbie’s rise to fame and the experiences that shaped him as he became a huge star on the back of hits with Take That and a successful solo career.
Michael has penned the script for the flick alongside Oliver Cole and Simon Gleeson and revealed that the movie came about after hours of conversations with the ‘Candy’ singer and through his determination to tell the story of an “everyman”.
The filmmaker previously said: “Unlike some people who were born prodigies or musical geniuses and you follow the narrative of the world catching up to their brilliance, this isn’t that story.
“Robbie is that everyman, who just dreamed big and followed those dreams and they took him to an incredible place. Because of that, his is an incredibly relatable story. He’s not the best singer, or dancer, and yet, he managed to sell 80 million records worldwide.”

“I love the feeling of the grass under my feet.”
The reality star wasn’t worried about being seen thanks to the 100 trees she planted to block the view of the nosy neighbours.
And the GC has also admitted she loves to “hug a tree” to ease any feelings of stress.
She added: “Whenever I get stressed, I hug a tree. It’s all about the energy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tess Daly and Alison Hammond will be guest judges on the new series of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ presenter filmed her scenes as a temporary panellist on the popular show earlier this week and proved to be an instant hit with her witty humour.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Tess really showed off her edge during this stint and her witty one-liners and humour went down well.”
Meanwhile, Alison is delighted to have been given a slot on the judging panel after previously asking Alan Carr to help her get a job.
She said: “I love ‘Drag Race’. They’re on another level aren’t they?”
Asked if she’d like to be a guest judge, she said: “Oh, I’d love to do it, I’d absolutely love to do it. Can you put a word in, babes?”
The BBC refused to confirm the identity of any upcoming guest judges on the show.
A spokesperson said: “Our lips are sealed. Our extra special celebrity guests will be revealed in due course.”
Previous stars who have joined RuPaul, Alan, Graham Norton and Michelle Visage on the panel have included Michelle Keegan, Melanie C, Geri Horner, Cheryl, Maisie Williams and Andrew Garfield.
Meanwhile, Tess – who has Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 12 with husband and fellow TV star Vernon Kay – recently insisted she never diets and won’t bring up the notion of counting calories with her daughters.
She said: ” My mum never dieted, and that word was never mentioned in our house. I grew up in a traditional northern household where dinner was meat, potatoes and vegetables.
“I didn’t realise there were calories in food until I left home at 19, and I have been on a taste journey cooking for myself ever since. I do not calorie count. I refuse. And I wouldn’t dream of mentioning calories to my young daughters.”
Tess also revealed that she cannot imagine life without “naughty snacks” but insisted that she balances things out by cooking “healthy, whole foods” for the family.
She said “I always need a cuppa at 4pm. And I can’t have it without some chocolate or a biscuit. ‘Everything in moderation. I cannot picture a life without naughty snacks and cake, but I enjoy cooking healthy, whole foods at home for my family.”

Frankie Essex reveals gender of twins

OHMYGOSSIP — Frankie Essex is expecting a boy and a girl.
The 34-year-old reality star revealed last month that she is pregnant with twins and on Sunday (20.03.22), friends and family joined her and partner Luke Love for a gender reveal party.
Frankie’s brother, Joey Essex, shared clips from the celebration on his Instagram Story.
In one, Frankie was joined by her cousin Chloe Sims and she then took to the mic to thank her guests for coming and urged them to go into the garden to watch some fireworks to find out whether she was expecting boys, girls, or “one of each”.
She said: “Everyone come outside and celebrate with us. We are so excited.”
Joey then shared a video of blue and pink fireworks exploding in the sky, before panning the camera over to Frankie, who celebrated by kissing Luke.
He captioned his post: “A proud brother about to become an uncle, congratulations to my sister and Luke. Boy and girl.”
When she found out she was pregnant, Frankie hadn’t planned to find out the sex of her baby, but she and Luke ultimately decided to because they didn’t want any more “surprises”.
Asked if she knows the sex of the twins, she said last month: “We haven’t [found out] yet but we are going to. I didn’t want to, but as soon as we found out we were having twins we both agreed that we’d find out. I would have wanted it to be a surprise, but I think I’ve already had the biggest surprise.”
Frankie has had one baby name picked out for years, so it’s proving difficult to select another as she wants the twins’ monikers to “match”.
She said: “I’ve always had a name in mind, ever since I was younger. When I first met Luke, I told him it. We’ve had to think of names, as it’s so hard to think of two matching names. So we’ve got options.”

Jared Leto urges people to be ‘thankful’ for Marvel films

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Leto has insisted people should be “thankful” for Marvel movies.
The 50-year-old actor recently caused a stir when he claimed the comic book blockbusters were the only thing keeping cinemas open, leading to other films being shut out, and while he paid no attention to the debate sparked by his remarks, he still stands by what he said and insisted he actually thinks it is a good thing.
He said: “I pretty much just bury my head in the sand, say a lot of stupid s*** and then let everybody go have fun with it.
“But I would say it again. I mean, are people upset with it? Do they agree with it? What are they, confused about it?
“If you look at the box office and what people are buying tickets for, I worked at movie theater as a kid, OK, and I’m talking about what’s actually generating revenue to keep the buildings open and the people employed and the ecosystem thriving.
“[Marvel movies] are probably the biggest generators of revenue. So, in a sense, we should be thankful.
“Especially those of us who are big fans of cinema and theaters, we should be thankful that these films even exist. Because they help support the ecosystem, so that other films that are adult dramas, like ‘House of Gucci’, have theaters they can actually be in. That’s my point. Maybe that was lost in translation, but it seems it’s pretty hard to argue with that.
“I mean, I think it’s a sacred thing, cinema. And it’s a beautiful thing. It changed my life.”
Jared can next be seen in his own Marvel movie, ‘Morbius’, and he relished the chance to tackle “three performances in one” with the title role.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I mean, I love that this is a guy, when we meet Dr. Michael Morbius, he’s sick and frail and fragile, he’s searching for a cure for a really rare disease that he has and others like him, and then he becomes strong and powerful and ultimately monstrous.
“So I liked that there were really three performances in one, and there’s quite a big transformation there.”
Jared admitted it was “quite an honour” to be approached for the project because no one has played the character before and it is a very different movie to anything he’s done in the past.
He said: “The other thing that excited me is this is the very first time this character has been on the big screen and it was, you know, quite an honor to be asked to do it.
“I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve never starred in a big movie like this before. I generally am doing different sorts of films and, you know, I just jumped at the opportunity.”
The ‘WeCrashed’ actor had caused a stir with his original remarks last week.
He said: “If it wasn’t for Marvel films, I don’t even know if theatres would exist. It doesn’t seem like there’s room for everyone, and that starts to become a little heartbreaking.”
“I also have gratitude for these movies because they’re keeping cinema alive.”

Denis Villeneuve keeps tight-lipped on Florence Pugh Dune 2 rumour

OHMYGOSSIP — Denis Villeneuve refused to confirm if it’s true Florence Pugh is joining the cast of ‘Dune: Part Two’.
The director played coy and insisted “there’s been rumours” about the ‘Black Widow’ star, 26, taking on the role of Princess Irulan, the daughter of Emperor Shaddam IV, who is yet to be cast, in the second half of the Oscar-nominated adaptation of the cult sci-fi classic.
However, he teased in an interview with Deadline: “It’s going to be another beautiful journey in the desert again.
“It’s the journey where Paul Atreides and his mother, Lady Jessica, make contact with the Fremen culture and meet with the Fremen.
“It’s Paul’s journey against the enemy … It’s a movie that will be more cinematic.”
There have also been talks of Austin Butler being eyed to play Feyd-Rautha.
The ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ actor, 30, is said to be in negotiations to play the sadistic younger nephew of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, who is the arch-nemesis of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet).
Sting played Feyd-Rautha in David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic novel of the same name.
‘Dune: Part 2’ will see Timothee, Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica) and Zendaya (Chani) all reprising their roles, and Denis recently admitted it will be “more challenging” than the first film.
He said: “I will say it is mostly designed. The thing that helps us right now is that it’s the first time I’ve revisited a universe. So I’m working with the same crew, everybody knows what to do, we know what it will look like.
“The movie will be more challenging, but we know where we are stepping. And the screenplay is written. So I feel confident. Frankly, the only big unknown for me right now is the pandemic.”
‘Dune’ has earned 10 Oscar nominations at the upcoming ceremony on March 27.
Production is due to commence later this year, with the flick slated for release on October 20, 2023.

OHMYGOSSIP — Angela Bassett thinks that the sequel to ‘Black Panther’ is better than the first movie.
The 63-year-old actress stars as Ramonda, the Queen Mother of Wakanda in upcoming superhero film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ – which follows on from the multi-Oscar winning 2018 movie – and promised fans that while she cannot reveal specific details, that the flick will “top” its predecessor.
She said: “It will be amazing. Our writer and director Ryan Coogler is the perfect leader. It’s gonna be amazing. It’s gonna top [the first] one. Can I say that?!”
However, the ‘9-1-1’ actress – who stars alongside Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman in what has become the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – was coy about revealing any specific details regarding the film’s plot.
She said: “I cannot [tell you] one single thing about it. Look for it in November!”
Angela went on to pay tribute to ‘Black Panther’ co-star Chadwick Boseman – who passed away in 2020 at the age of 43 following a cancer battle – noting that the tragic actor was such an “inspiration” to everyone on set because of his “big heart” and “great intellect”.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, she said: “He was such an example, such a leader, an amazing talent – we all know that! Big heart, heart, great intellect, and we just hope to raise his standard.”
The initial ‘Black Panther’ film was nominated for seven Academy Awards, going on to win three and earned a reported $1.3 billion in box office revenues worldwide.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is set to be released in cinemas on November 11 2022.

Anne Hathaway used to look up to Dame Helen Mirren

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway used to look up to Dame Helen Mirren.
The 39-year-old actress revealed that she admired Academy Award winner Helen when first starting out in the industry because of her versatility across the business.
She said: “When I was coming up as an actress, I always observed that British actors weren’t film actors, and they weren’t TV actors and they weren’t theatre actors, they were actors. Someone like Helen Mirren, and there are no actual adjectives to describe Helen Mirren because she’s just Helen Mirren, she would do limited series, she would do film, and she be on stage.”
The ‘Locked Down’ actress – who herself is known for having starred in a string of Hollywood movies and won an Academy Award for her portrayal of tragic Fantine in 2012 musical drama ‘Les Misérables’ – is now starring alongside Jared Leto in Apple TV miniseries ‘WeCrashed’ and admitted that she finds the idea of switching between mediums to be “the most exciting way to be an actor” and is thrilled that the concept of doing so has made its way to America.
She told Collider: “That always seemed to me to be the most exciting way to be an actor, so I’m just very excited now that that seems to have found its way to America.”
Anne recently admitted she left her co-star stunned when she made reference to the character he played in ‘House of Gucci’, and revealed that her joke left Jared “split into three”.
She said: “He called me Rivka and I called him Motek, that was how we got around the name thing – he was like, ‘OK Rivka, have a good night’ and I was like, ‘Motek, Just one more thing,’ and I go [in an Italian accent], ‘Father, Son, House of Gucci,’ because you have to!
“I didn’t know what would happen because he’s so intense in his commitment to his process, but I swear to God he split into three.
“It was like a Horcrux: Over here was Jared, over here was Paolo Gucci, and here was Adam Neumann.
“I don’t think he did this, but in my memory, he was like, ‘Waaaaaaaaaah’. He came back in and I was like, ‘Oh dear,’ and he was like, ‘Woah, I think I just time-travelled!’”
