OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Hart told friends she was “going to marry” Sam Ranson after their second date.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who previously admitted she had never been in a serious relationship before falling for Curtis Pritchard in the villa back in 2019 – and her boyfriend Sam Ranson went public with their romance last year, and she was certain she’d found The One.
She told OK! magazine: “I told my friends just before our third date that I was going to marry Sam.
“They were like, ‘You’ve only met him twice,’ and I just told them to trust me on this one.”
Sam added: “I think the first conversation you had with my mum was, ‘I’m going to marry your son!’ You’re not wrong.”
The 29-year-old reality star admitted her family are “very impulsive people”, with her parents getting engaged after just eight weeks before tying the knot the next year, and having a baby the year after that.
However, Sam admitted: “I’m just a little bit slower. I don’t have a timeline in mind… I said to Amy that I want it to be a surprise, I want it to feel like quite a special moment for us…
“Life doesn’t always work to plan and with your fertility, we don’t quite know yet whether we’re gonna have to switch things up… Whether we focus on having kids first.”
Meanwhile, Amy insisted she wants to tie the knot first so she can be “truly selfish” about her big day without having anyone else to worry about, and she’d love to get married in 2023.
She said: “I’d love to get married first, just because I think then you can be truly selfish with your wedding if you get married first.
“Once you have children, all your priorities change. I’d love to get married next year.”
Amy froze her eggs aged 27 because early menopause runs in her family, but she recently admitted she’ll give them away if they aren’t needed.
She said: “For me, it was something I’ve known I wanted to be a mum ever since I was a child and I was in a position to do it.
“So I was like, ‘If it’s going to help me … and if I can’t use them, then I’ll donate them.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anton Du Beke had “never cooked anything” in his life before training for ‘Cooking With The Stars’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge trained as a baker when he was a boy, but he has stepped into the new ITV competition with no experience preparing any dishes.
He said: “I don’t cook at all. I’ve never cooked anything in my entire life. That is difficult for the judges to comprehend and understand really.
“When I said to producers I don’t cook they said, ‘That’s fine but what’s your signature dish’ and I said, ‘I don’t cook so I don’t have one’.
“I don’t cook so the first time I cooked anything was the first morning of training with [mentor Rosemary Shrager]. It was the first time I’d been in a kitchen and cooked something with a pan on a stove.”
The 55-year-old star has “never been bothered about cooking” and “had no interest in going through the process of learning”.
He explained: “I ate out my entire life so I didn’t need to cook or have any desire to cook. Then suddenly you get older and I have a family now.
“My wife does all the cooking but it’s something I felt I’d like to do. During lockdown I had thoughts about wanting to learn to cook but I didn’t as I had no way of learning.
“When they offered me the opportunity to do this in a scenario that I love, it was really the situation that made me want to do the show. I love having lessons. I enjoy competition.”
Anton revealed his family were “delighted” and “thrilled” when he revealed he’d be on the show, but he doesn’t have any plans to put his newfound skills to the test in the future.
He quipped: “I’m never cooking again.”
Hosts Tom Allen and Emma Willis loved having Anton on set though, and the comedian admitted he was always “dancing in the kitchen”.
Emma added: “Dancing at the bar as well. He taught me a little…. I don’t even know what dance it was.
“He didn’t tell me what we were going to do, he just went ‘OK’ and we stood together and he went, ‘To me, one two, to you’ and we danced and I was very happy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Compston has teased the possibility of a future for ‘Line of Duty’.
The 38-year-old actor – who played Detective Steve Arnott in the police drama from 2012 until 2021 – has weighed in on speculation about the chances of more series following the season six finale, and he remains hopeful at the idea of a potential reprise.
Asked whether there was a chance ‘Line of Duty’ could return one day, he told Radio Times magazine: “We’re so delighted that after all that time, people still want us.
“If Jed [Mercurio, the creator] thinks there’s a story, we’d all love to work together again. There’s always ideas, but nothing concrete,”
Bosses of the show – which was written and directed by Jed for the BBC – previously teased season seven, but weren’t sure if it would happen.
Before the arrival of season six, Jed said: “We’re in a situation where it’s not entirely clear that there will be a seventh series. We would hope there could be.
“But we’re having to do our planning coming out of COVID, and a whole bunch of other things… these things aren’t guaranteed at all now.
“A lot of it depends on the key creatives – that’s me and the main actors – finding new stories to tell within that universe. ‘Line of Duty’ may have reached ‘the Chandrasekhar Limit’, at which a mass collapses under its own gravitational force.”
But Adrian Dunbar, who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings, added: “We’ve got to do another series.
“We’ve got to get onto Jed and say, ‘Look, we’ve got to do one that’s not like when we were in lockdown. We’ve got to do one where we’re back on the ground, we’re out there, we’re in the city, we’re having fun’.
“You know, it’s a great city to have fun in, Belfast, so we really want to get back to doing that again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sally Dexter says ‘EastEnders’ is set for a Wild West style showdown.
The 62-year-old star’s character Faith Dingle hasn’t told her son Cain (Jeff Hordley) about the return of her breast cancer, and he thinks she’s being drunk and disorderly, while her drinking has been numbing her pain.
Next week, Faith will host a birthday party at The Woolpack to try and break the heartbreaking news to Cain, but the plan backfires when he storms in and says he wants her to “drop dead” before she opens up about her incurable diagnosis.
Sally told the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column: “It’s like a Western.
“The doors swing, the music stops, all the cigarettes are put out, everyone’s chairs get scraped across the floor and there’s absolute silence when Cain enters the room in the way that only Jeff can do. It was huge fun to film.”
Sally noted her character still loves her son “unconditionally” and she hopes Faith and Cain can reconcile their relationship before her character dies.
She added: “She doesn’t know really how long she has got, so every minute with him is precious, even when he’s really, really awful.
“She loves him unconditionally. But she wouldn’t half like it if they got back together and were friends again.
“But she wants a relationship, not a pity ship. It would be dreadful if we didn’t repair it. We’d be left on a minor chord, the end of the song wouldn’t be finished.”
Meanwhile, Sally recently admitted she felt a “real responsibility” to tell the hard-hitting plot.
She said: “It’s upsetting, but really important as a storyline, because it’s more than a storyline for so many people.
“It matters to people who are going through it as well as people who will go through it. I feel a sense of real responsibility, but also a privilege to be doing this storyline.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ star Liam Llewellyn thought Sir Elton John was two different people.
The 22-year-old contestant – who recently finished his master’s degree in strength and conditioning – left ITV2 viewers stunned during his VT as he made a number of revelations.
As well as admitting he is baffled by raisins being dried grapes, he laughed: “I thought Elton John was two blokes for 20 years.
“I just thought it was like ‘Elt and John’, just like it’s Ant and Dec.”
Liam was coupled up with Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma in Monday’s (06.06.22) launch episode.
He described himself as a “happy man” after being paired up with Gemma, and although she called him “cute”, “fit” and “really nice”, she seemed less enthusiastic.
The dressage professional also left Liam confused when she told him about her pet dogs – both Italian Greyhounds – and 12 horses.
He said: “You have 12 horses? At home? You must have a big house. Well, horses are outside.”
Meanwhile, Gemma is yet to reveal her famous father and couldn’t help but smirk after Liam revealed his love for football.
She asked if he’d played at a “decent level”, and carried on asking questions after he revealed he stopped playing when he was young.
He replied: “I feel like you’ve been with an ex-footballer or something.”
She insisted she was just “interested” in his past, and he eventually stopped asking why she was so intrigued.
Later in the episode, Gemma again came close to revealing her famous father when the Islanders were chatting about their surnames and she revealed her own – but none of the Islanders made the connection.
The first episode also saw islanders play a game of dares, with Davide having to do a “strip tease”.
Gemma refused to perform a lap dance for Liam, and dared to kiss the Islander she wants to share a bed with, the teenager grabbed Davide for a brief kiss, leaving Liam stunned.
Gemma later admitted she felt there was “something missing” in Liam and said she was most “physically attracted” to Davide.
The Italian then got a cliffhanger text which said he will have to couple up with the girl of his choice 24 hours later.

OHMYGOSSIP — Two new bombshells have entered the ‘Love Island’ villa.
Afia Tonkmor, 25, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, were unveiled as shock new contestants as part of a bombshell revelation in the second episode of the ITV2 reality dating show on Tuesday (07.06.22.)
Afia – who works as a Lounge Host at a Private Members Club in London – explained that signing up for the show felt like a “once in a lifetime” opportunity but believes she is still single because she tends to “fall in love too quickly.”
She said: “It just seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet someone, have an amazing summer, just have so much fun, and have a bit of a summer romance as well. But I fall in love quickly, too quickly, two dates I am like, ‘OMG I am obsessed with this boy, he’s everything.”
Afia was joined as a new contestant by Essex actress Ekin-Su who is looking for a “genuine spark” in her love life but admits she can be “quite picky” and isn’t in the villa to make friends.
She said: “I’m looking for that real genuine spark and they just see me as me. I think the concept of the show brings back true and raw feelings. I’m quite picky and I’m not just looking for looks, I’m looking for brains! I’m looking for someone with intelligence, someone who can have good chats. Nothing like cockiness! I’m looking for a serious man and a serious relationship. I’ll bring the whole package to the villa – drama, tears, laughter, joy, and love. I’m looking for the love of my life. I’m not there to make friends. If someone wants to have an argument with me, bring it on.”
Their entry into the sprawling villa in Mallorca happened on the same night that Liam Llewellyn, 22, was dumped by Gemma Owen and was left on his own when she decided to pair up with Monday’s bombshell contestant Davide Sanclimenti.
However, during her first appearance on the show, London-born Afia admitted she wasn’t afraid to go after someone else’s man and warned her fellow females that she would “get what she wanted.”
Speaking on ‘Love Island’, she said: “If I see a guy that I want in the villa I’m definitely going to make sure I get him. Watch out girls, I’m coming for your man!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Owen coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti on Tuesday’s (07.06.22) edition of ‘Love Island’.
The 19-year-old beauty – who is the daughter of football legend Michael Owen – is a contestant on the 2022 series of the reality dating show and while during the first episode on Monday she coupled up with Liam Llewellyn, she was quickly seen kissing Davide, 27, during a dares game on the same night and the pair officially coupled the following evening.
Gemma’s decision to dump Liam and move on to Davide means that the 22-year-old personal trainer from Newport could face eviction from the competition unless he finds a new match by Friday (10.06.22.)
During the first episode of the show on Monday – in what was a new twist – episode of the eighth series saw fans choosing the castmates’ matches having previously been decided themselves in earlier series.
Girls Gemma, Tasha, Amber, Paige and Indiyah joined host Laura Whitmore in the show’s Majorca villa expecting to see the boys walk out
one-by-one.
Deaf contestant Tasha had been voted to be paired up with estate agent Andrew and on Tuesday appeared to be quite happy with her match as she gushed about their time together to her fellow Islanders.
Speaking on the latest episode of ‘Love Island’, she said:”I woke up and he was awake and he had a little smile. He just put his arm around me and it felt so nice.”
Meanwhile, Tuesday’s episode also saw the arrival of two new bombshells in the form of lounge host Afia Tonkmor, 25, and actress Afia Tonkmor, 25 into the sprawling villa in Mallorca, Spain.
Upon her arrival, Afia said: “If I see a guy that I want in the villa I’m definitely going to make sure I get him. Watch out girls, I’m coming for your man!”

OHMYGOSSIP — David Morrissey is reportedly starring in ‘The Long Shadow’.
The 57-year-old actor is set to play former West Yorkshire Assistant Chief Constable George Oldfield in ITV’s upcoming Yorkshire Ripper drama looking at Peter Sutcliffe’s murders from a new angle.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “The victims and their families still blame Oldfield and many of his senior colleagues for not catching Sutcliffe earlier.
“If he had been arrested sooner then fewer women would have been attacked and fewer lives ruined.
“So casting someone who is not knowing for playing baddies or villains is something of a revelation.”
The upcoming drama will tell the true story of the five-year search for the notorious serial killer between October 1975 and January 1981.
More than one thousand police officers were involved in the search, the biggest manhunt in British criminal history.
During the investigation, Sutcliffe was interviewed and let go by police nine times.
Oldfield never responded to the criticism over the case before his death in 1985.
Back in 2020, it was revealed ‘Criminal’ writer George Kay has penned the script for the drama.
He said: “In a story full of eye-watering statistics, one for me has always stood out: Peter Sutcliffe rendered 23 children motherless.
“That one fact in itself demands that any definitive drama about this case should encompass far more than just the story of a police investigation.
“We will focus not just on the police, therefore, but the victims, their families, those who were attacked but not believed, those whose lives were permanently changed.
“This is not the story of a Ripper who hailed from Yorkshire, but the story of how Yorkshire was ripped apart.”
ITV’s Head of Drama Polly Hill previously said: “This promises to be a definitive look at this infamous case.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Neighbours’ final ever scene is expected to see the emotional return of original castmates Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.
An hour-long special of the soap is set to end with the pair, propelled to global fame after their stints as Charlene and Scott Robinson in the show, making a comeback more than 30 years after they left Erinsborough.
The pair turn to each other on Ramsay Street before declaring they are “home” in a farewell episode to be shown on Channel 5 on August 1.
Kylie, 54, last appeared on the show in July 1988, while 54-year-old Jason stayed until May 1989.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Everyone is gutted the show is coming to an end but they are determined to go out on a high.
“Kylie and Jason have such strong ties to the series they didn’t even think twice about returning. The final scene will make fans well up.”
Scott and Charlene’s wedding has become an iconic moment on the soap after it was watched by 20 million viewers in the UK in 1988.
Speaking about her time on the show, which started in 1985, Kylie said: “I will be forever grateful for the experience.”
Jason added: “I think we should be grateful for what it’s given Australia, it’s given actors, producers, writers, directors.”
It emerged in March that ‘Neighbours’ was being cancelled after producers Fremantle Media failed to find a buyer for future episodes.
A Fremantle spokesperson said at the time: “It is with sadness that after nearly 37 years and almost 9,000 episodes broadcast, we are confirming that ‘Neighbours’ will cease production in the summer. Following the loss of a key broadcast partner in the UK, and despite a search for alternative funding, we currently have no option but to rest the show.”
The soap began in 1985 and has also launched the careers of many other stars, including Holly Valance, Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ewan McGregor’s ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ has been slapped with violence warnings in the wake of the Texas school mass shooting.
Disney+ bosses took the decision as the six-part sci-fi series contains a massacre at a Jedi school.
A warning read: “Although this fictional series is a continuation of the story from Star Wars movies filmed many years ago, some scenes may be upsetting to viewers in light of the recent tragic events.
“Warning: Contains violence involving children.”
The message went out on Friday (27.05.22) 24 hours after the show started – and three days after 19 children and two adults were murdered during a school massacre in Uvalde, Texas.
It was shortened later the same day, and now reads: “There are certain scenes in this fictional series that some viewers may find upsetting.”
Disney+ added the first version of the warning early Friday, hours after the start of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’.
Two episodes of the much-anticipated series had already been shown late Thursday (25.05.22.)
The accused gunman in Texas first shot his grandmother in the face, then sent cryptic online messages before he went on his deadly rampage at Robb Elementary School.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’’s plot included a look back to 10 years prior, when Order 66 – or the near eradication of the Jedi – is executed.
The scene opens with a group of “Force-sensitive younglings being trained in the Jedi Temple just before Clone Troopers burst into the building, and began shooting at the Jedi and children” the show says.
No children are struck by blaster fire, but the clips have been described as too “intense” in light of the Texas tragedy.
A Disney spokesperson told Deadline: “’In light of recent tragic events, we recognise there are certain scenes in this fictional series that some viewers may find upsetting and a content warning has been added to the show page.
“We are also working to add an advisory in front of the series as quickly as possible.”
The show stars Ewan McGregor, 51, in the title role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, charting his exile on Tatooine.
It takes place between the ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘New Hope’ films from the ‘Star Wars’ saga.
The cast also includes Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, along with Rupert Friend, Sung Kang, Moses Ingram, Benny Safdie, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Simone Kessell, Vivien Lyra Blair, Flea, Jimmy Smits, Kumail Nanjiani, Marisé Álvarez, Rya Kihlstedt and Indira Varma.
