Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef coming to ITV in 2023

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay’s cooking contest ‘Next Level Chef’ is to make its debut on UK TV screens in 2023.
The eight-part series, billed as “the toughest and most epic cooking contest on TV”, will air on ITV and ITVX next year, and it will see the winner, who will be crowned the Next Level Chef, take home a cash prize of £100,000.
The show will feature three unique kitchen spaces set across three storeys and almost 50ft high, with each floor set to test the contestants’ culinary creativity, agility, flare, and expertise, as they aim to progress to the Next Level.
Gordon will be joined by two of the most elite names in food, who have yet to be revealed, as the trio of judges preside over and mentor a group of talented chefs who will compete against each other to prove they can handle the heat in any kitchen space that is thrown at them.
The Next Level Chef will also win a one-year mentorship under all three mentors.
Casting is currently underway in a bid to find the UK’s very best in cookery, from home chefs to social media stars, with budding chefs urged to apply via www.nextlevelchef.co.uk
This comes after Gordon recently admitted he would love to follow in his 20-year-old daughter Tilly Ramsay’s footsteps and take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, after she competed in the 19th series of the BBC Latin and ballroom show.
He said: “They asked me to do a Christmas special with Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix.
“Secretly, I’d love to do it. I’ve always wanted to dance.
“There’s something so gorgeous about the rumba, the samba, the foxtrot, the tango.”
The 55-year-old star admitted he could even approach producers himself to try to land a spot on next year’s show, although he thinks his daughter would “kill” him.
He said: “I may ask the BBC if I could do it next year. Tilly would kill me, by the way.
“‘Strictly’ shaped her in a way that has made her so much more hard-working, I’m incredibly proud.”

Cate Blanchett to star in The School for Good and Evil

OHMYGOSSIP — Cate Blanchett has been cast in ‘The School for Good and Evil’.
Director Paul Feig has confirmed that the actress will star as the narrator in the Netflix fantasy film, which will also feature Kerry Washington, Charlize Theron and Laurence Fishburne.
Feig told the Annual Women in Entertainment Summit in Los Angeles: “And actually, we just got Cate Blanchett as now the narrator, so we’re very excited about that.
“It hasn’t actually been announced yet – it’s out there.”
The movie is an adaptation of Soman Chainani’s fantasy novel and follows best friends Sophie and Agatha (played by Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie respectively) at The School for Good and Evil, where normal children are trained to be heroes and villains.
Sophie expects to be chosen for the School for Good whilst Agatha believes she is evil, although their friendship is put to the test when the roles are reversed.
Feig, whose previous movies include ‘Bridesmaids’ and ‘Last Christmas’, was excited to “create a world from scratch” with the new film – that is set to be released on the streaming service in September.
He said: “This is the first time I got to create a world from scratch. I read it, and it’s this beautiful story about these two young women and their friendship and how their friendship saves them – going through this crazy experience. And I was like, ‘I’m in’.”
Soman previously expressed delight that Feig had been tasked with bringing his story to the screen.
The author said: “To have one of your favourite directors adapt your book into a film for Netflix is an honour and a dream.
“Paul Feig is a brilliant filmmaker and a master of tone – a perfect fit for the twists and turns of ‘The School for Good and Evil’. I have no doubt that he will make a true fairy tale classic.”

Olivia Cooke to star in horror thriller Breeders

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Cooke is to star in the horror thriller ‘Breeders’.
The 28-year-old actress has been cast in the Lionsgate project that will mark the feature directorial debut of Kelsey Bollig.
‘Don’t Look Up’ filmmaker Adam McKay came up with the idea for the movie with script writer Brian Steele and is producing the flick for his Hyperobject Industries banner together with the company’s Todd Schulman.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but one source suggests that the film is similar in tone to the movie ‘Fresh’, the dating gone wrong thriller that starred Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan and was released earlier this year.
Bollig has won acclaim for her short horror films ‘Asking for a Friend’ and ‘The Fourth Wall’ and her most recent project ‘Kickstart My Heart’ debuted last week.
Lionsgate’s president of production Erin Westerman said: “Her films come straight out of a horror sensibility she’s been honing her entire life, and ‘Breeders’ is a perfect example – it’ll be terrifying and Olivia Cooke is perfect for it.
“It’s also a thrill working with Adam, who originated the idea and will shepherd Kelsey’s project with expertise and a first-rate sense of story.”
Olivia previously starred alongside Riz Ahmed in the film ‘Sound of Metal’ and she recalled how the pair were “bonded by the sheer terror” of performing as a band on the big screen.
She said: “Riz and I were brought together to immerse these skills we just learned and to become a fully realised band.
“It was wonderful to have that experience, because we were then really bonded by the sheer terror of having to sometime soon perform and it made the relationship we had on screen that much more nuanced and deep.”

Megan McKenna will channel Dolly Parton in Glastonbury Festival set

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan McKenna wants to channel Dolly Parton at Glastonbury Festival.
The former ‘TOWIE’ and ‘Big Brother’ star – who also appeared on ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’ three years ago – is set to perform an acoustic set on Sunday (26.06.22) at Worthy Farm, and she is looking to take inspiration from the ‘9 to 5’ legend’s iconic 2014 set.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’ve got some Swarovski-encrusted cowboy boots from Nashville. But I’m ordering wellies – I might not wear the cowboy boots in the actual field.”
The 29-year-old star is also hoping to prove her doubters wrong when she steps on stage at the iconic festival and show that her journey in music goes back further than her TV career.
She added: “I have been judged really strongly over the past eight years.
“Everybody’s allowed their opinions but that’s why people need to come and watch me, because their opinions will change. I haven’t just done X Factor, I was doing music before as well as reality TV.”
Megan admitted she broke down in tears when she was told she’d been booked for such a special event.
She said: “I cried when I found out. It proves it doesn’t matter where you’ve come from, as long as you’ve got good music to back you, and you believe in yourself, you can do it.”
Megan previously opened up about her deep-rooted love of country music, and explained how her initial interest in the genre was sparked by her mum.
Asked about her passion for the genre, she shared: “My mum did like quite a bit of country music like Dolly Parton and Martina McBride but it was when I kept going to musical theatre auditions when I was younger and I kept being told I sounded really country so that’s when I really started listening to country music and started to love it.”

Claudia Winkleman can spot Strictly curse couples

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host Claudia Winkleman can spot which couples might fall victim to the show’s so-called curse.
The 50-year-old TV presenter admits she “knew” former rugby player Ben Cohen and pro dancer Kristina Rihanoff had “got together” when they were paired up on the show in 2014.
Speaking on Friday’s (24.06.22) ‘The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan’ on Channel 4, she says: “The couple I knew had got together were Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff.”
Claudia also admits she has been known to be “leaky” regarding secret information about the BBC Latin and ballroom show, but she remains coy about one question.
When asks if she thinks there were any couples who won the Glitterball Trophy but perhaps didn’t deserve to, Claudia replies: “I will tell you after.”
As well as her TV presenting, Claudia is known for her trademark fringe and the star recently credited her iconic tresses for starting her career.
She said: “People ask what I am hiding with my fringe – and it’s a massive forehead that is repellent. I was born with six extra teeth like a little dinosaur. When people saw me smile they screamed. But when I was 21 and a virgin, I got my fringe and everything started happening.”
Claudia – who began appearing on BBC series ‘Holiday’ in her early 20s before going on to interview celebrities on ‘This Morning’ – is also known for using fake tan for her on-screen appearances, and admitted she is “addicted” to the bronzing product.
She said: “I have always been addicted to fake tan. I like being orange, I think it is because I was born in 1972, I am an eighties kid so everything was like ultra glow.
“Everything was about being bronze and I don’t go in the sun ever. I never leave my house, but I like being orange.”

Coronation Street star Simon O’Brien still gets recognised for Brookside

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon O’Brien still gets recognised for his role in ‘Brookside’ more than ‘Coronation Street’.
The 57-year-old actor – who played Damon Grant in the Liverpool-based show – recently joined ‘Corrie’ as Sean Tully’s love interest Frank Bardsley, but many fans still see him as his former character.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It’s literally 40 years since I first appeared in a soap. You wouldn’t believe it, looking at the state of me.
“But no one calls me Simon. Even when I joined Coronation Street people on Twitter were saying, ‘Oh look, Damon’s in Coronation Street.’ ”
The soap star admitted he’s trying to get used to playing a very different character from the pin-up he portrayed when he was younger.
He said: “I was filming in Hull recently and we were staying in a hotel. I noticed a young waitress looking at me and I said to the other guys I was sure she was giving me the eye.
“After a while she came over and said, ‘Excuse me, my nan loves you.’ It wasn’t even her mum. That dashed the old ego, I can tell you.”
Meanwhile, Simon reflected on his decision to attend an open audition for ‘Brookside’ in 1982, and he only went to try out for the Channel 4 show on a whim, with plans to take his A levels and then do a degree in botany.
He added: “I’d never considered acting, I wanted to be a botanist, I was a real geek, but the audition was on a Tuesday afternoon which was double maths so it was a no-brainer.”
Simon was an original cast member of the soap, making his debut as the on-screen son of Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston’s characters Bobby and Sheila Grant.
He was propelled to teen idol status thanks to the role, before being killed off in a three-part spin-off series ‘Damon and Debbie’.
In the show, widely credited as being the UK’s first “soap bubble”, Damon and Debbie McGrath – who was played by former ‘Emmerdale’ actress Gillian Kearney – headed to York to get away from their parents, who didn’t agree with their relationship.
Simon has gone on to forge a career in property development, but returned to screens to host ‘The Great House Giveaway’.

Lauren Harries warns Rylan Clark about her upcoming book

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Harries says Rylan Clark “should be worried” about her autobiography.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who appeared on the reality show in 2013, the same year the 44-year-old presenter started hosting ‘Bit On The Side’ – claimed Rylan has “been mean” to her and stopped replying to her messages as he got more famous.
She told the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column: “Rylan should be worried. He has been mean to me. I gave him a lot of time. I knew him from when he started out and thought he was a friend. He’d even come and watch me perform.
“But people get high in this business and then forget you. He could have stayed in touch but he doesn’t even answer my messages. I haven’t changed.
“But it seems it’s all about celebrity and ego for some. Eamonn Holmes once told me about celebrities ‘They forget you easily.’ I have a lot of things to say in my book [‘Just Lauren’]. It’s taken me a while to write.”
The transgender star famously appeared on racy Channel 4 dating show ‘Naked Attraction’ in 2019 – which will be re-aired as part of the broadcaster’s Pride celebrations – and she insisted no other celebrity would dare to bare all on the programme.
She added: “It’s the most popular show I’ve ever done and I am the only celebrity to go on it. No other star is brave enough. They have tried but they just cannot do it. Can you see Holly Willoughby on there?
“I did ‘Naked Attraction’ to show how people like me can be accepted. And I think I succeeded. I didn’t get picked for a date and the man was incredibly rude about me and my age but that clip has gone viral.”
Now, Lauren describes herself as a “sex siren” and points to the success of her OnlyFans account.
She said: “I’ve now become a sex siren. I’ve had offers from men from all over the world. And I have been sent no end of d*** pics.”

Natalie Portman ignores bad reviews

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman doesn’t pay attention to bad reviews.
The 41-year-old star’s movie debut ‘Leon: The Professional’ and her role as Padme Amidala in the ‘Star Wars’ prequel trilogy were panned by the critics but the star suggested that the new-found appreciation for the films shows how things can change.
Explaining how she dealt with the poor reviews for ‘Thor: The Dark World’, Natalie told Variety: “I mean, I had it with ‘The Professional’ too.
“It was slaughtered critically, and now, despite having been in Marvel and ‘Star Wars’ movies, it’s the main thing people come up to me about.
“That and ‘Star Wars’ are two examples of things that when they came out, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, this is a disaster.’ And then 20 years later – actually, 30 years later for ‘The Professional’ – its beloved.”
Natalie returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and director Taika Waititi wanted her alter ego to be more than just the love interest for Chris Hemsworth’s titular superhero.
The filmmaker explained: “I’ve seen her play the scientist character in ‘Thor’ 1 and 2, and it just seemed pointless to do it again. That character just feels like a love interest. It’s an Earthwoman who runs around being mortal and not really consequential throughout.”
Natalie will now be playing a superhero in her own right and explained that she had to bulk up for the role.
She explained: “On ‘Black Swan’, I was asked to get as small as possible. Here, I was asked to get as big as possible. That’s an amazing challenge – and also state of mind as a woman.”

Wesley Snipes still hopes for appearance in Blade reboot

OHMYGOSSIP — Wesley Snipes still hopes to feature in the new ‘Blade’ movie.
The 59-year-old actor played the Marvel vampire character in a trilogy of films between 1998 and 2004 and is now hoping to return to the franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project that will see Mahershala Ali take over the lead role.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Wesley said: “Never say never. As long as I’m healthy and in shape, I can rock with them.
“Yeah, as far as my predictions on if something like that happened in future, I don’t know. I don’t know. It seems to me if it would’ve happened, it would’ve happened already. But hey, never say never.”
Despite the lack of an offer from Marvel, Wesley has no problems with Blade being recast and has tipped Ali to make the role his own.
The ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ star explained: “We spoke. The issue of him being cast wasn’t between us, I’m cool with that. I don’t walk around as Blade, so I’m not attached to the character like that. I feel no emotional loss, zero, and I’m happy that he’s being recast and will more than likely do a great job.”
Snipes also revealed that he is yet to be approached by Marvel to make a cameo appearance in any projects from the studio.
He quipped: “No, not as of yet. I’m still working on my acting skills. So when I come up as an actor, maybe they’ll reach out and say, ‘Let’s have a conversation’, or maybe they don’t feel I’m an ensemble player.”
Ali previously revealed that he was “humbled and so encouraged” by Snipes’ praise following the decision to cast him as Blade.
The Oscar-winning star said: “Man, you know, [I’m] humbled and so encouraged by that.
“Because he didn’t have to say that. Wasn’t nobody really asking him like that.
“So for him to come out and say that, somebody I look up to so much, I sincerely appreciated that. So thank you, brother.”

Fred Sirieix up for Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Fred Sirieix would love to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘First Dates’ maître d got a taste of the Latin and ballroom action when he competed in the BBC show’s Christmas special last year, which was won by singer Anne-Marie.
Despite admitting he is “not a natural dancer”, the 50-year-old star is up for strutting his stuff on the dancefloor in the full series later this year.
Quizzed on whether he would do the whole thing, he told the Metro newspaper: “I’m not a natural dancer. It took me three weeks to get that dance and it was a minute-and-a-half.
“It’s mind-blowing all the things you have to think about all at once.
“Would I do the whole series? Yes, I think I would.”
Anne-Marie and pro dancer Graziano Di Prima triumphed on last year’s festival special after scoring a perfect 40 out of 40 from the judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse – for their enthusiastic cha cha.
But Fred wasn’t too far behind, scoring 38 out of 40 from the panellists for his and his pro partner Dianne Buswell’s quickstep.
Craig praised Fred for his “fantastic energy”.
But he also told him: “I did think you were trotting around like a turkey but maybe that was the whole point darling.”
Ahead of the show, Fred admitted he hoped his routine would bring some “Christmas joy” to viewers.
He said: “I absolutely love Christmas so I’m delighted to be taking part in the Strictly Christmas special and to be partnered with the magnificent Dianne.
“I hope my dance moves bring some Christmas joy to everybody watching at home and don’t make the judges say ‘Bah, Humbug.’ ”

Anna Vakili questions Ekin-Su Culculoglu’s morals in Love Island villa

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Vakili has questioned Ekin-Su Culculoglu’s “morals” and accused her of “playing a game” in the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 31-year-old pharmacist – who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2019 – has weighed in on this year’s series and blasted the 27-year-old actress for her behaviour since arriving in Mallorca.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’m not really feeling Ekin-Su, I think there’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance.
“I think she comes across as a bit arrogant but also during the challenge when she drank to the bit where they said, ‘Who’s had sex with their mate’s other half’, and she drank to it.
“That put me off straight away – where are your morals?! That’s a line you do not cross.”
While some have claimed Ekin-Su is simply acting since she arrived in the villa one week after the show launched, Anna isn’t quite so convinced.
She said: “I’m going to take it as this is her, this is her reality. If she’s acting, that’s another thing, I think she is probably just in there playing a game.”
Earlier this week, Ekin-Su and Amber Beckford rowed over “game playing”.
The actress said: “I was sitting there and (Jay) was like, ‘I think Amber and Paige don’t like you’.”
Amber admitted: “I feel like upstairs you’ve been really genuine and we’ve seen a vulnerable side to you but I will add, over the last couple of days I’ve thought, ‘Is she playing a bit of a game?’ ”
Ekin-Su fired back: “What’s your actual issue with me? All you’re saying doesn’t make sense.”
But Amber argued: “You’re playing a bit of a game, enjoying the drama.”
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Chris Evans confirms TFI Friday return with a twist

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans has revealed ‘TFI Friday’ will return as an online-only show.
The 56-year-old presenter – who originally fronted the chaotic show on Channel 4 from 1996 until 2000 before a one-off revival run in 2015 – has confirmed plans to bring the programme back, albeit in a different way.
He told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Of course ‘TFI Friday’ is coming back in September. Can I tell you a bit more about it?
“Oh, sure. The thing is, you don’t need a TV channel now. You just don’t need one.”
Chris insisted the new format will let the team be more creative with plenty of freedom in terms of the length of the show, and what unseen archive footage they can release.
He explained: “It’s amazing what you can do. ‘TFI Friday’ doesn’t have to be an hour long, it could be longer, we could livestream it.
“We’ve got all the annals and the back catalogue and library footage. So we’ve got the David Bowie footage that was never seen, and all that going on.”
Although he’s embracing the future with the ‘TFI Friday’ reboot, Chris previously admitted he has “less anxiety” after scrapping his mobile phone in 2019.
He said: “Even if someone says they’re not going to check their phone for an hour, they’re still thinking about when that hour is up … so you’re still thinking about it.
“It’s the whole ‘don’t mention monkeys, don’t mention monkeys, don’t mention monkeys’ thing.
“It’s both a massive time thief and a massive focus one. I have less anxiety without one — it’s that ping of uncertainty.”
And he revealed the technological advancements in smartphones “scared the s***” out of him.
He added: “Phones have changed so much [in the past three years], but you don’t realise it because you’ve become so accustomed to the micro-doses of the updates.
“It’s you against Silicon Valley but Silicon Valley is hidden behind the screen. It scared the s*** out of me. No thank you.”

Coronation Street star Martin Hancock always wonders how Spider would react to eco-stories

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Hancock always wonders how his ‘Coronation Street’ character would react to eco-stories in newspapers.
The 53-year-old star – who is set to reprise his role as eco-warrior Geoffrey ‘Spider’ Nugent after almost two decades away from the cobbles – admitted during his time away from Weatherfield he couldn’t help but wonder what his character would think about certain headlines.
He told Inside Soap magazine: “I want to say that it was very difficult and challenging [to get back into the role], but I think part of me is Spider.
“I’ve always carried a bit of militancy with me, but not to the same extent. I like to think I’m Spider-lite!
“The funny thing is, going through the years when there’s an eco-story in the papers, it does make me refer back to Spider and wonder how he would react – because I like to think that Spider is my better self.”
Martin first played Spider from 1997 to 2003, and he’ll be back after Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) “puts a call out” for the activist community to help her protest about “binmen not meeting their responsibilities”.
Spider answers the call, and viewers will be wondering how their past relationship plays into the upcoming plot.
The actor said: “Whenever those two have parted ways, it’s always been with love in their hearts.
“The bottom line is – whether they’re together or not – Spider thinks the world of Toyah, and it will always be that way.
“There are some partnerships that are partnerships for life whether it’s together or as friends, it doesn’t matter. Spider and Toyah are like that.”
Toyah has dealt with a lot recently, including the death of her husband Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo), and there’s a chance Spider could have more on his mind.
Martin added: “I think that Spider is a man who wants the best for everyone, but particularly for those he cares about.
“He’s more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on – and who knows what else? You never know with Spider!”

Love Island is returning with two series in 2023

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ will return for two new series in 2023.
The hugely popular ITV2 dating show will be back for a special winter edition in January before the main summer season airs just a few months later from the beloved villa in Majorca.
Paul Mortimer – Director of Reality Commissioning and Controller, ITV2 – said: “‘Love Island’ has once again proved itself to be the nation’s favourite talking point across the summer, and we’re always blown away by the show’s ongoing impact and talkability amongst our younger audience.
“So, rather than just serving up a Summer of Love, we thought we’d make 2023 the Year of Love with two full series of the show.”
The programme – which ranks as TV’s biggest show for 16-34 year olds – will return to South Africa for the first time since 2020’s winter edition in a brand new villa.
Mike Spencer – Executive Producer at Lifted Entertainment – added: “After eight brilliant series, we are excited to be serving up two helpings of love in 2023 by kicking off in January at a stunning new villa in South Africa.
“We can look forward to more romances, bromances and everything in between as we embark on another epic year of love.”
The show – hosted by Laura Whitmore – has helped plenty of people find love over the years, with four weddings and seven babies coming from the relationships formed on the show.
Last year’s finalist Faye Winter admitted without ‘Love Island’, she wouldn’t have met Teddy Soares and fallen in love.
She said: “We know without Love Island our two worlds would never have met.
“We were put through tests which proved our connection was real and untouchable, showing the world that two opposites can attract.
“[We] are forever grateful to ITV, not only did it bring us together but also taught us so much about ourselves as individuals.”
And Molly Smith – who was a 2020 finalist in the winter season alongside Callum Jones – also credited the show with helping spark their romance.
She commented: “‘Love Island’ gave me the experience of a lifetime, the best memories that I will cherish forever, and of course, my soul mate.”
‘Love Island’ airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Love Island villa perfectly recreated in The Sims 4

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Love Island’ villa has been perfectly recreated in ‘The Sims 4’.
Creator Steph0Sims spent a total of 15 hours building the venue for this year’s ITV2 dating reality series, using in-game tools to replicate everything the Islanders are experiencing and viewers are seeing on television including the Beach Hut, the fire pit, balcony, outdoor swimming pool and the communal bedroom.
YouTuber Steph even created The Hideaway for any Sims couple that might want a night alone to WooHoo.
Discussing her process for recreating the Mallorca villa in such astonishing detail, Steph said: “Literally just guessing! Love Island didn’t release any floorplans, so I had to work it out as I went along based on the size of rooms and furniture. Every single object had to be placed individually including all the strip lights on the floor, so I ended up with 15 hours of recorded footage.”
Steph decided to make the ‘Love Island’ villa because she is such a huge fan of the 2022 series on which contestants such as Gemma Owen – the daughter of retired England striker Michael Owen – Danica Taylor, Luca Bish and Davide Sanclimenti try and find true love.
But there is one Islander that Steph just can’t enough of, Ekin-Su Culculoglu, and she intends to make an Ekin-Sim character to inhabit the pixelated villa.
Steph said: “Watching Ekin-su and literally whatever man she is coupled up with sneak around the villa kissing and try to not get caught by others is the only thing I care about. Ekin-su is the main character. Ekin-Sim coming soon!”
Steph says the reason she enjoys ‘Love Island’ so much is because it has so many similarities to the iconic life simulation game.
She added: “Playing ‘The Sims’, especially when you let them go wild and do their own thing, literally feels like watching a reality TV show play out right before your eyes. You never know what they’re going to do next and that’s the fun of watching reality TV.”
‘The Sims 4’ players can download the ‘Love Island’ villa via the in-game community gallery by searching for Steph0Sims. It can be placed on any 64×64 lot, and will cost any household moving 376,520 in Sims currency but requires players to have purchased and downloaded the majority of packs.
‘The Sims 4’ is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
‘Love Island’ airs on ITV2 at 9pm and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and Britbox. It airs on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player in Ireland.

Love Island stars set to be recoupled

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ contestants are set to be recoupled.
The hit ITV2 reality dating show – which so far this year has seen the stars such as Tasha Ghouri pair up with Andrew Le Page and Gemma Owen date Davide Sanclimenti – is set for a shakeup on Saturday’s (24.06.22) show when producers will demand that the Islanders all find a new partner.
The recoupling could be bad news for estate agent Andrew, who was seen in a preview clip complaining that Tasha had said she “wanted to leave the villa” with him after coupling with him over a week ago before showing an interest in new boy Charlie – who turned up as a bombshell arrival earlier in the week.
In a preview clip, Andrew raged: “Yeah, one minute Tasha wants to leave with me and now she wants to get to know [Charlie]. Do you know what? F*** this!”
Just before making his bombshell arrival in the Mallorca villa, Charlie noted that Ekin-Su – who is currently paired up with Jay Younger and WAS visibly shocked at the recoupling announcement – as well as Paige, and Tasha were amongst his favourite girls so far but was “keeping an open mind” until he met all of them in the flesh.
He said: “[I like] Ekin-Su, Paige, and Tasha. But I’m keeping an open mind until I meet them. I might get on with someone I didn’t fancy before. I’m very much on the personality side of things and whether you vibe with someone. Ekin-Su is more towards my classic type. Paige seems like a very, very nice girl. Tasha seems like good fun as well. I find her quite intriguing – I want to find out more about her.”
‘Love Island’ airs tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
