Hilary Swank and Olivia Cooke to feature in Mother’s Milk

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Swank, Jack Reynor and Olivia Cooke are set to star in ‘Mother’s Milk’.
The trio have been tapped to feature in the opioid-themed thriller that has recently wrapped production in New York.
The movie has been directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte and she has penned the script with Madison Harrison. Additional cast members include Hopper Penn, Norm Lewis and Karen Aldridge.
‘Mother’s Milk’ tells the story of a journalist who, following the murder of her estranged son, forms an unlikely alliance with his pregnant girlfriend to track down those responsible for his death.
Together, the pair confront a world of drugs and corruption in the underbelly of upstate New York and discover an even darker secret.
Joris-Peyrafitte said in a statement: “Getting this film made has been a personal dream of mine for six years and assembling a stellar cast like this is more than I ever could have hoped for.
“I’m so excited to bring this story to life with them and my team of amazing producers.”
Swank has several projects on the horizon as she is starring in the drama series ‘Alaska’ and recently wrapped production on ‘Ordinary Angels’.
Olivia is also set to star in the horror thriller ‘Breeders’.
The 28-year-old actress has been cast in the Lionsgate project that will mark the feature directorial debut of Kelsey Bollig.
‘Don’t Look Up’ filmmaker Adam McKay came up with the idea for the movie with scriptwriter Brian Steele and is producing the flick for his Hyperobject Industries banner together with the company’s Todd Schulman.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but one source suggests that the film is similar in tone to the movie ‘Fresh’, the dating gone wrong thriller that starred Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan and was released earlier this year.

Crowd-pleasing Islander ‘already ditched’ from ‘Love Island’

OHMYGOSSIP — A popular Islander will reportedly be ditched from Thursday night’s (30.06.22) ‘Love Island’.
The castmates get a text on the latest instalment calling them to the firepit and one is said to be dumped.
A source told The Sun about how they have already exited the villa: “The dumping came as a total shock to the islanders. One of them has packed their things and left the villa already.”
Andrew Le Page, 27, gets the text asking the Islanders to the fire pit.
When they are seated, Paige Thorne, 24, gets another message informing them the public have been voting for the most compatible couple.
It warns: “Those with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight.”
The latest recoupling did not hold many shocks for fans as Paige and Jacques O’Neill, 23, Gemma and Luca, Dami Hope, 26, and Indiyah Polack, 23, and Andrew and Tasha Ghouri, 23, all stayed together.
But unlikely pair Ekin-Su and Davide were finally reunited after making up following their rows.
Thursday’s episode will also see Gemma Owen, 19, heading to the hideaway with 23-year-old Luca Bish.
It comes after Jay Younger, 28, gets a text saying the bedroom is open, with the Islanders agreeing it’s time for the dressage rider and fishmonger to have some fun.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Gemma excitedly says: “Finally! I feel like it has been a long time coming. So nice it’s just gonna be us two. I’m just buzzing.”
Luca has already been seen sucking Gemma’s toes, after Tuesday night’s episode (28.06.22) was dubbed the “raunchiest show ever” for ‘Love Island’, due to the Islanders’ risqué lap dances.
Gemma performed a dominatrix routine on the show, prompting her ex-footballer dad Michael Owen, 42, to break his silence on her most recent appearances on the series.
He tweeted an emoji of a face with a peeking eye, after saying shortly after she entered the villa: “It’s not something any father wants to watch, is it?”
Before her date on Thursday night’s show with Davide Sanclimenti, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, says: “I feel emotional, I feel romantic, I feel like this is the best things that could happen right now.”
Davide, also 27, tells the lads: “I will try and open myself a bit more,” with Luca replying: “You’ve got to end the date in a kiss you know.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Casa Amor is making a comeback on ‘Love Island’.
Its return was announced on Thursday night’s (30.06.22) episode, with a pink sign illuminated at the end of show announcing the second villa would soon open for business.
It sent fans into a spin, and they said they are expecting Casa Amor to start from Friday night. (01.07.22)
‘Love Island’ narrator Iain Stirling, 34, confirmed the news by saying on Thursday: “The wait is over. Casa Amor is coming.”
A video then showed a camera swooping through the villa, soundtracked by ominous music.
One viewer responded online: “I’m not going out tomorrow night.. It’s casa amor bayyyy-beeeeeeee (sic).”
Others are predicting it will spell bad news for one couple, writing: “Tasha and Andrews final downfall is gonna be casa amor (sic)!”
The now traditional Casa Amor segment sees producers take half of the contestants to a rival villa where they meet a new set of Islanders to test their loyalties to existing partners.
It lasts for around four days, with the lads usually going back to the original villa either alone or with a new female partner.
The development comes after it was reported Casa Amor would makes its comeback from Monday July 4.
A spokesperson for the show said on Thursday (30.06.22): “The iconic flashing neon sign played at the end of tonight’s episode signalling fans will soon see the famous second villa on screens.
“What does it mean for the couples in the villa? Will heads turn? Only time will tell.”
A show insider told The Sun: “Just when the Islanders start to get comfortable in their couples, they are going to get a real shock as they are torn apart.
“This year’s Casa Amor promises to be the most explosive yet thanks to some seriously fiery characters, who have already shown their heads can be turned.”

Curtis Pritchard rules out Love Island return

OHMYGOSSIP — Curtis Pritchard wouldn’t do ‘Love Island’ again.
The 26-year-old star – who came fourth on the 2019 series of the popular ITV2 dating show with then-girlfriend Maura Higgins – has ruled out returning to the villa because he wants to become a full-time TV host and not the star of a show.
He told The Sun: “Would I do it again? Probably not, because I want to move on to hosting.”
The professional dancer – who acted in ‘Hollyoaks’ alongside his brother AJ – has done ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ and ‘The Greatest Dancer’, but now the car geek has set his sights on fronting ‘Top Gear’.
He said: “Jeremy Clarkson and that lot are getting older…
“If they retire – I’ll take their place. And I’ll be at the F1 on Sunday.
“Presenting is what I’ve always wanted to do, and Top Gear is presenting and in a weird way I have presented all my life, so it isn’t that massive of a career change, but is from the dancing.”
He added: “I was into cars since before dancing and did a lot of street sports. I love the adrenaline it brings. I’d love to create a career out of it.”
Curtis – who was best mates with fellow Islander Tommy Fury during their time in the villa – previously admitted he rarely talks to his ‘Love Island’ friends anymore.
Speaking last year, he said: “I don’t speak to that many people from Love Island now. I focus on myself and everything that is going on. Me and Tommy talk every now and again but I don’t really talk to the other guys. We have gone our separate ways and that’s the way it is.”

Sarah Hyland to host Love Island USA

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland is the new host of ‘Love Island USA’.
The ‘Modern Family’ star has confirmed she’s taking over presenting duties for season four from comedian Arielle Vandenberg when the reality show returns to TV later this year on the Peacock channel – and the actress is thrilled with her new job.
She announced the news in a post on Instagram, quoting the show’s famous catchphrase as she wrote: “I got a text!!!! And it’s a juicy one! I can’t wait to be your new host of @loveislandusa #hostesswiththemostess #loveisabeach @peacocktv.”
Sarah shared the words alongside a picture of herself relaxing in a bikini onboard a yacht with a drink in her hand.
She added to E! News: “‘Love Island’ is such an iconic show and I love the dating reality space. I’m just so thrilled and honoured to be a part of this …They always have the hottest people on their show.”
American fans will also be treated to narration by Iain Stirling who has voiced the UK version since 2015. He is replacing previous narrator Matthew Hoffman.
‘Love Island USA’ ran for three seasons on America’s CBS network but is now making the switch to Peacock. The news was announced in May with show bosses teasing the network swap was due to the “explicit nature of the show” and the move will allow for “naughtier games and sexier challenges”.
Peacock’s executive vice president of unscripted entertainment content Jenny Groom said in a statement: ” Love Island is a highly addictive dating format that is primed for a streaming service like Peacock where we can push boundaries and bring viewers steamy and dramatic twists. The series took pop culture by storm after the U.K. format found fans across the world, and we are thrilled to be able to bring an all-new version to Peacock this summer.”
‘Love Island USA’ kicks off on July 19 with a new crop of sexy singles all looking to snatch the $100,000 prize – and find love of course.

Kate Winslet says working with James Cameron again on Avatar was very different to Titanic

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet says working with ‘Titanic’ director James Cameron on his new ‘Avatar’ sequel was a “totally different” experience as they have both changed so much.
The actress starred in James’ 1997 epic about the doomed ship and she has reunited with the moviemaker to appear in his long-awaited ‘Avatar’ sequel ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ – and she admits their working relationship has changed quite a lot over the years.
She told Empire: “Jim and I are both totally different people now to who we were 26 years ago. He is calmer, and I am definitely more hyperactive now.”
In the new film, Kate plays ocean-swelling Na’vi warrior called Ronal and Kate said of the character: “She is deeply loyal and a fearless leader,. She is strong. A warrior. Even in the face of grave danger, and with an unborn baby on board, she still joins her people and fights for what she holds most dear. Her family and their home.”
The actress had to film a number of underwater scenes and revealed she learnt to hold her breath for more than seven minutes. She added: “Seven minutes and 14 seconds, baby! (It was) the most amazing thing for me as a middle-aged woman was to learn something not just new, but superhuman.”
The film is due for release in December, and the original movie’s star Zoe Saldana has admitted she feels nervous about the sequel.
Zoe told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s exciting; nerve-wracking. Humbling as well, you know – the wait is finally over. And we get to share something that we love so much with so many people that we know love it, too.” The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star underwent a dramatic transformation to become one of the blue Na’vi and explained the sacrifices she had to make to get into character. Zoe explained: “Gamora is a much more traditional approach where you wake up at 3 o’clock in the morning and you go through the whole prosthetic process. And then kind of once you see yourself and you feel Gamora on you, obviously, you transform, you know?” She continued: “And when it comes to Neytiri, it’s more of a practice. It’s months of training, not just rehearsing with your director, but training with movement coaches, and travelling to the jungle and getting to feel like what it’s like to make your own food with all the elements that are around you. “And once you use all of that, you do bring it into what we call the volume, which is the set, when you shoot under performance-capture.”

Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton attached to K-Pop comedy

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton are being lined up to star in the road trip comedy ‘K-Pop: Lost in America’.
The 42-year-old actress and the ‘Riverdale’ star, 31, are said to be the first choice to lead Korean filmmaker JK Youn’s flick, Deadline reports.
The script comes from Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, and there is a current draft by Karen McCullah and Kirsten ‘Kiwi’ Smith.
The plot follows “a breaking K-pop group that finds themselves mistakenly stranded in Waco, Texas, just days before their American debut at Madison Square Garden. Left with no phones, no money and no transportation, the group must overcome their differences and a host of crazy obstacles to make it to New York City. Along the way, they learn to love Texas, and Texas learns to love them back.”
Filming is due to commence in autumn.
It’s yet to find a home, but there’s reportedly been plenty of interest out there.
Rebel’s latest movie was Netflix’s ‘Senior Year’, which she also produced.
The ‘Bridesmaids’ actress played the role of a 37-year-old woman who wakens from a 20-year coma and decides to go back to high school to earn her diploma.
Charles is best known for playing Reggie Mantle on The CW television series ‘Riverdale’ and Daniel Bae in the 2019 film ‘The Sun Is Also a Star’.
Meanwhile, Rebel recently came out and introduced her girlfriend Ramona Agruma to the world.
Although the ‘Hustle’ star and fashion designer-and-businesswoman Ramona have been dating for six months, and even attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party together in March, they only recently went public about their romance.
Rebel wrote on Instagram: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”
The pair were introduced by actor-and-singer Hugh Sheridan.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark was “crying all day” and considering quitting showbiz after his marriage ended.
The former ‘Big Brother’ star separated from his husband Dan Neal last summer after six years together, and the 33-year-old presenter shared the bed with his mum Linda, 69, as he struggled with the split.
He told OK! Magazine: “I couldn’t have got through the last year without my mum, she was there for me majorly. She was my entire support.
“At one point, I didn’t want to come back, I didn’t want this job any more – I didn’t want to do anything.”
Linda added: “He’s got this beautiful home, but he was here with me. He couldn’t sleep so I said, ‘Get in my bed with me’.
“He’d lost so much weight, he was just staring all the time. I was crying all day with him, and I was forcing him to eat.”
The former ‘X Factor’ star stepped back from social media, and turned his life around after starting an exercise and diet plan.
Rylan has to “learn to trust again” following the end of his marriage.
He said: “I’ve just got to learn to trust again. I was in a ten-year relationship and when you learn things … it f**** you up.

Gloria Hunniford cracked bone in face after ‘horror’ fall

OHMYGOSSIP — Gloria Hunniford has told how she cracked a bone in her face following a “horrific” fall, and it has left her “petrified” of tumbling again.
The 82-year-old TV presenter suffered the accident when she tripped over a rug onto a “very hard wooden floor” earlier this month, leaving her face and leg “black and blue”, but she returned to the ‘Loose Women’ panel on Wednesday (22.06.22) to tell all about the terrifying incident.
Speaking on the ITV show, she said: “This is my first day out [since the fall] and I couldn’t think of a nicer place to come. I had a big [fall] this time. I tripped over a rug and I took the fall totally on my face. I took it all on a very hard wooden floor.
“I’ve cracked a bone under my eye, unfortunately. There’s a bone under your eye that holds the socket in place, and that is unfortunately broken. As long as it doesn’t take the muscle down my eyesight is good.”
Gloria was worried she might have a clot in her brain following her fall, but fortunately she didn’t.
She said: “I was worried about a clot in the brain, because a friend of mine had a similar fall.
“I was very relieved to know that I didn’t. They [the NHS] were fantastic. They did my neck, they did everything they should’ve done.
“I’m mostly worried about the eye. I feel comfortable now that I know the right person [an eye specialist] to go to if anything happened.
“I also had my chest X-rayed because there was a pain down my chest, which has, fortunately, started to go away.
“I thought it was my sternum, but I think it’s just muscle. My leg is pretty horrific-looking, but it’s all still wrapped in stuff to help it to heal.”
Gloria suffered the fall just a day before she was due to be part of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on June 5th, and she admits it has left her too scared to go to the shops in case she has another tumble.
She added: “I’m a reasonably confident person usually. I don’t want to sit doing nothing, that’s why I’m here today, but it does affect your confidence.
“Even in my own garden, steps I know very well … I’m petrified of falling again.
“I didn’t want to walk on [to the Loose Women set] today and make some stupid mistake and fall over.
“I haven’t been able to go out to shops. I do think I’ll walk along the street now looking for uneven pavement stones and things like that. Falls are bad, this one was bad.”

Love Island’s Jay ‘looking forward to getting to know’ new bombshell Antigoni

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Jay Younger is “looking forward to getting to know” new bombshell Antigoni Buxton.
The 28-year-old investment analyst is keen to find out what the 26-year-old singer-songwriter is all about in tonight’s (22.06.22) episode after the Islanders wake up and find her chilling out in the garden.
Jay – who is currently coupled up with 27-year-old soap star Ekin-Su Culculoglu – says in the Beach Hut: “I feel like Ekin-Su and I moved so fast.
“I don’t want to leave here with a ‘what if’ in my head. I want to leave here knowing that I explored all options.”
Later in the episode, Antigoni chooses Jay, Dami Hope and Davide Sanclimenti to go on dates with, and sparks appear to fly during her date with Jay.
She says to him: “I can already tell you’re attracted to me.”
He replies: “Tell me how?”
Antigoni says: “You haven’t broken eye contact with me once. That tells me you’re attracted to me …”
She also has a good chat with business owner Davide.
Antigoni says to him: “I can’t be ungenuine – it’s impossible.”
Davide replies: “Me too. I can’t fake feelings.”
After asking what kind of boyfriend he is, the Italian Islander replies: “At the beginning, I’m a closed person – I don’t open up really.
“But I am very romantic and I am a very caring person. I always want the best for my girlfriend.”
And she appears to enjoy the conversation during her date with 26-year-old senior microbiologist Dami.
She says: “You seem like good vibes and you’re easy to chat to. We wouldn’t run out of things to say.”
Elsewhere, Ekin-Su receives a text that reveals a new boy is heading into the villa.
The girls glam up and head into the garden to get to know the guy, while the lads watch their potential rival from the terrace.
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Tom Felton used to laugh during Harry Potter scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Felton used to get “told off a lot” for laughing during ‘Harry Potter’ filming.
The 34-year-old actor – who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the wizarding franchise – took a trip down memory lane on Tuesday (21.06.22) when he revealed Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and he admitted returning to the set after so long was very exciting.
Reminiscing about shooting the movies, he said as he showed off the expansion on Instagram: “It’s been over 20 years since I first walked into this building, when I was literally 12 years old, as a young Draco.
“Welcome to Professor Sprout’s greenhouse, I’m very excited. Painstakingly recreated from when I was here 20 years ago.
“I just recall being told off a lot for laughing too much us Slytherin boys got told off a lot for that, to be fair…
“This is the first time I’ve walked in here, about an hour ago, for 20-odd years. I auditioned about 500 metres away.”
The actor admitted one of his favourite things about filming with his co-stars from Slytherin house was the fact they were allowed to “muck about” so often.
He said: “Much like being here, just being allowed to muck about. Broke the rules endlessly and were allowed to get away with it.”
Tom was blown away by how perfectly the set he had filmed on has been recreated.
He continued: “It’s actually unbelievable how exactly similar it is to when we were here.
“You wouldn’t have seen this when you watch the films but the detail, under the desks, over the desks, every bit of detail is put together with huge amounts of time, patience and love.
“There was very little acting done from us because we were just reacting to all the stuff in front of us.”
Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse is part of a new feature at the attraction titled ‘Mandrakes and Magical Creatures’, and visitors will get to step into the shoes of a Hogwarts student by pulling out one of the potted screeching plants as part of the interactive display.
The greenhouse is a permanent addition to the Studio Tour and will open as part of the new feature on 1 July.
As part of the ‘Mandrakes and Magical Creatures’ feature – which runs until 12 September 2022 – the Great Hall will be dressed for the Frog Choir scene from ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’.
Exterior sets are also to be expanded, with new additions including the fountain from the Hogwarts courtyard and a scaled version of the Weasleys’ home, The Burrow, which will both join the greenhouse in being permanent additions to the tour.

Love Island new boy Charlie Radnedge told to ‘f*** off’ as he enters the villa

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Radnedge was told to “f*** off” as he entered the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 28-year-old estate agent joined the cast of the hit reality dating show on Wednesday (22.06.22) but Luca Bish was less-than-impressed at the news that another boy would be joining them in the Mallorca villa.
Upon hearing the news, Luca said: “F*** off, Charlie!”
Meanwhile, 27-year-old businessman Davide Sanclimenti – who is currently paired up with Gemma Owen on the show – joked: “Charlie – the name says everything.”
Just before making his bombshell arrival in the villa, Charlie noted that Ekin-Su, Paige, and Tasha were amongst his favourite girls so far but was “keeping an open mind” until he met all of them in the flesh.
He said: “[I like] Ekin-Su, Paige, and Tasha. But I’m keeping an open mind until I meet them. I might get on with someone I didn’t fancy before. I’m very much on the personality side of things and whether you vibe with someone. Ekin-Su is more towards my classic type. Paige seems like a very, very nice girl. Tasha seems like good fun as well. I find her quite intriguing – I want to find out more about her.”
Charlie was joined as a bombshell arrival by singer-songwriter Antigoni Buxton, who explained that she wanted to do the show after being single for more than a year.
She said: “I’ve been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible. I really just want to say ‘yes’ to things. Why not? It’ll be fun. I’m a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I’ve got nothing to lose.”
‘Love Island’ airs tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Hunter Schafer joins Hunger Games prequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Hunter Schafer has joined the cast of ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’.
The ‘Euphoria’ actress will play Tigris in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ novel, which is a prequel to the four movies that starred Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen.
A post on the official ‘Hunger Games’ Instagram page reads: “All seams unravel. Hunter Schafer has been cast as Tigris in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – arriving in theaters November 2023.”
Rachel Zegler commented: “a babe”
It comes after Zegler was recently cast in the movie as Lucy Gray Baird, the girl tribute from the impoverished District 12.
Nathan Kahane, president of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said in a statement: “When you read Suzanne’s book, Lucy Gray’s emotional intelligence, physical agility, and fiercely powerful, determined singing voice through. Rachel embodies all of those skills – she is the perfect choice for our Lucy Gray.”
Francis Lawrence, who directed three of the previous ‘Hunger Games’ movies, is returning behind the camera with producer Nina Jacobson and her partner Brad Simpson also back for the dystopian sci-fi movie.
Jacobson previously suggested Lucy is very different to Katniss from the original movies.
She said: “Lucy’s a character who is much more aware of the power of her femininity.
“Katniss is much more quiet, a woman of few words. (So) Lucy as a performer is a very different kind of character. Katniss is very survival-orientated. She hunts for her family, she goes into the games because she promises her sister that she’ll be back.
“Katniss knows exactly what she feels and what she values and Lucy is more mysterious and is playing in her own way to the crowd. Lucy is a fun, very different character to bring to the screen.”

Chris Evans thinks Captain America’s suit was the worst of all Avengers

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans thinks Captain America’s suit is the worst of all the Avengers.
The 41-year-old actor has confessed he thinks the Marvel superhero’s patriotic costume wasn’t the best out of his co-stars, including Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man).
Speaking on LADbible TV, he said: “It’s the suit for him, and it works for him, but if we’re measuring against all the Avengers, let’s be honest: It’s not the best. S***, they’re all better than mine. Whether it’s Scarlett [Johansson], whether it’s [Chris] Hemsworth, whether it’s Tom Holland…”
Meanwhile, the ‘Lightyear’ star recently admitted reprising his role as Johnny Storm in ‘Fantastic Four’ would be an “easier sell” than playing Captain America again.
Chris played the Human Torch aka Johnny Storm in 2005’s ‘Fantastic Four’, and its sequel ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’, and he would love the superhero to make a comeback as he doesn’t believe the character has had his “day” yet.
He told MTV News: “God, wouldn’t that be great? Wouldn’t that be great?
“No, no one’s ever come to me about that. I mean, I don’t exactly look the same anymore. That was 15, almost 20 years ago. Oh my God, I’m old. But I really love that character, but I think… aren’t they doing something now with ‘Fantastic Four’?”
Chris starred as Captain America in a whole host of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including 2011’s ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, 2014’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, and 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’, as well as several ‘Avengers’ ensemble movies, the last being 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
He added: “I would love it. That would actually be an easier sell to me than coming back as Cap. You know what I mean? Cap is so precious to me. And you know, I almost don’t wanna disrupt what a beautiful experience that was. But Johnny Storm, I feel like he didn’t really get his day. That was before Marvel really found its footing. So, I loved that role and, you know, who knows.”
Last year, Chris shot down a rumour he was set to return as Captain America.
He simply responded: “News to me.”
Chris also previously shared his excitement to have the “freedom” to pursue other parts.
He said: “I absolutely loved my time with Marvel; I already miss it, but there’s no denying that it is very exciting to just have complete freedom to pursue whatever my creative appetite wants.”

Former politician Gyles was previously partnered alongside Dame Maureen Lipman on ‘Googlebox’, and he sat alongside Dame Sheila Hancock on the show in 2019.
Both of his companions were made dames after appearing on ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’, and Gyles has his theory as to why.
He said: “My wife thinks that’s because the queen must watch ‘Gogglebox’ and felt Sheila and Maureen deserved a reward for sitting on the sofa next to me.”
In March, Maureen ruled out a return to ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’.
She said at the time: “I went in imagining that they wanted me for my wit and my brain. Of course, they just want to show you willies and for you to be shocked.
“Honestly, we were really funny together, but none of that was used. And if they don’t want to use what we gave them, f*** them.
“It is from my point of view. I’m sure they’ll put someone else with Gyles.”
