Dwayne Johnson: Black Adam will launch a new era for the DC Universe

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has revealed that ‘Black Adam’ will “usher in a new era” for the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
The 50-year-old actor will star as the titular antihero in the upcoming superhero blockbuster and revealed that the project will mark a change in the “hierarchy” for the DC Universe that has been hinted at in various trailers.
Speaking to Screen Rant at San Diego Comic-Con, Dwayne said: “That footage is a reflection of our tone. That footage is also a reflection of our director’s vision, who wanted to create something that was different; who wanted to create a movie that was disruptive. But also he wanted to create a movie that would start the pendulum swing in the DC Universe.
“In addition to the hierarchy of power that I’ve been talking about, this pendulum swing (will) usher in a new era of the DC Universe. A new antihero era; a new era of tone, and a new era of story.”
The Rock also revealed that he and the crew will take on board what the fans say in response to the movie to shape the future of the character.
The former WWE star said: “And also, it’s this incredible opportunity that we have at Seven Bucks Productions for Black Adam’s storytelling to build out the DC Universe with disruption and with respect. Listening to the fans, because they’ll always guide you.”
Johnson recently revealed that he is “100 per cent committed” to building a ‘Black Adam’ universe.
He said: “I am 100 per cent committed to not only ‘Black Adam’ but then expanding the ‘Black Adam’ universe, the DC universe.
“I am an optimist from the word, ‘Go’. So, to me and to all of us up here, all universes exist in our heads. I will, we all will, work very hard to make sure we are honouring the mythology but also giving the fans what they want.”

Peaky Blinders film script ‘nearly done’

OHMYGOSSIP — The script for the ‘Peaky Blinders’ film is “nearly done”.
Steven Knight, the creator of the BBC drama about an organised crime family from Birmingham in the early 20th century, has revealed he is still writing the big screen adaptation of the popular TV series, which starred Cillian Murphy and the late Helen McCrory, and it will be filmed in Digbeth, Birmingham.
After being asked on ‘Heart Breakfast With Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden’ about rumours of a ‘Peaky’ movie by Zoe Hardman – who was standing in for Amanda – the 62-year-old showrunner said: “Yes, I can tell you that there’s going to be a film, a feature film.
“Yes, I’m writing it right now. I mean, I’m nearly done writing it, and we’re going to shoot it … I’m setting up some film and television studios in Digbeth in Birmingham,” before being interrupted by a telephone ringing.
Jamie quipped: “Oh, that’s your agent telling you to stop right there, no more details!”
Steven replied with details about bringing the production to its real home.
He said: “Yes, don’t tell them any more! Please! On FaceTime, gesturing! Erm, we’re going to shoot it at the studios in Digbeth, and on location in Digbeth in Birmingham. Digbeth and Small Heath is where the Peaky Blinders actually roamed. So it’s like Peaky’s coming home, basically.”
Steven revealed shooting could begin “within 18 months” and praised the “social community” of fans of the show.
He said: “Well, I’m hoping that we’ll be shooting in … within 18 months. And then obviously, we put it together. Erm, I don’t know, I mean it will depend on the distributors and things when it goes out. But I’m just really looking forward to having a Peaky event where people can watch it communally. I mean, the social media community is so strong and people talk to each other. But to actually be together physically will be really interesting.”
Steven also teased that fan favourites and “new” and “surprising” talent will appear in the period flick.
He told Jamie: “Of course, and some new faces that will hopefully be quite surprising.”
‘Peaky Blinders’ – a global smash hit that ran for 36 episodes over six seasons between 2013 and this year- has long been teased as prime for the motion picture treatment for a little while.
In January 2021, Steven spoke about a film being “in development”, admitting he had a “fully formed idea”.
He said: “We are in development. It’s a fully formed idea and it has a beginning, middle and end. And I think it’s going to be a fitting conclusion to the story told so far, but from it, there will be things I don’t really call spinoffs, but there will be other TV shows that I hope will come out of [it], that will continue to tell the story of this part of society and this family.”
Listen to Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden weekdays from 6:30am – 10am.

Love Island’s Amy Hart and Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon team up to curb online trolling

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Love Island’ star Amy Hart and ‘Coronation Street’ actress Samia Longchambon have teamed up to curb trolling on social media.
The 30-year-old reality television personality and the 29-year-old actress – whose ‘Corrie’ character Maria Windass has been the subject of an online hate campaign – are working together to combine their reach to spread awareness of the impact of cruel comments on sites such as Twitter and Instagram, by discussing the toll it takes in a new video aired on ‘Lorraine’.
Speaking to Christine Lampard, the summer host of the ITV breakfast show, Amy said: “It’s good, me and Samia coming together. I think the ‘Coronation Street’ audience and maybe my platform are different platforms, so [the message] is getting out to a wider audience. People can watch it [the video], resonate with it and tell their friends not to do it.”
The ex flight attendant – who is now dating Sam Ranson, 33 – admitted it was “really full on” when she came out of the villa to a barrage of vile messages.
Amy said: “Before you go in [on ‘Love Island’], they say to you, ‘You might get trolling online, how are you going to deal with that?’ And I used to say, ‘Well, I’ve been a cabin crew for nine years, anything that a passenger has said to me, a troll couldn’t say anything worse.’
“I remember I typed into Twitter, ‘Amy Hart’ when I first got out and it came up suggested searches – Amy Hart teeth, Amy Hart ugly, Amy Hart fat. It was really full on.”
Amy admitted the ITV2 dating show – on which she endured a brief romance with professional dancer Curtis Pritchard – was “so life changing”.
She said: “All the new Love Islanders are about to come out, it’s so life changing. They would have gone away weeks ago as a very normal person and their life will change. It’s an amazing time, but it’s also a real time of adjustment. So I’d say to people, ‘If you can just be nice, give them a bit of a break and don’t abuse them online, that’d be really helpful.’ ”
When asked if she had any advice for the current contestants – who include Gemma Owen, the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen – Amy said: “The block button – take advantage of the aftercare from ITV. It was amazing and changed my life. Also the platforms have lots of settings with comment filters, if there’s something people keep saying, you can pop that word in and the comments won’t come up.”

Miss England turns down Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Miss England, Rehema Muthamia, turned down the chance to appear on ‘Love Island’.
The 26-year-old beauty queen confirmed she was asked by ITV to take part in the dating competition but she was too “busy” to jet off to Mallorca to go looking for love and knows it would have been a risky decision if she’d agreed.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I was approached by ‘Love Island’. I thought about it, but I’m not there. I’m busy with many things.
“With life, there is always a risk when you do something. For one person it might be a negative experience and for another person it might be amazing.”
While she turned down ‘Love Island’, Rehema – who recently graduated with a masters in genetics – is looking for other work in TV.
She said: “I’d love to work in entertainment. I have a few shows coming up later this year. I’d like to do TV presenting. That’s a side of things I would like to tap into more.”
Rehema will be Miss England until a new winner is crowned this autumn.
Six years ago, Zara Holland appeared on ‘Love Island’ and was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after she performed a sex act on her co-star Alex Bowen on national television.
And she later admitted her decision will “haunt” her for the rest of her life.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “I changed as a person. I didn’t want to go out or socialise….
“People applying need to know how serious things can be.
“They see a claim to fame, they don’t see that in ten years’ time, when you’re married with babies, you’ll still be haunted for the rest of your life.”
Zara’s anxiety was so bad when she left the villa that she was put on anti-depressants and she has admitted she still doesn’t feel ready to stop the medication.
She explained: “I was upset all the time and couldn’t stop crying. I was having bad anxiety too. I had this shame and guilt I couldn’t get over.”

Marvel Studios reveal Phase 5 schedule and tease Phase 6

OHMYGOSSIP — Marvel Studios have unveiled their schedule for Phase Five and part of Phase Six, including two new ‘Avengers’ movies.
Around 6,000 fans at Comic-Con on Saturday (23.07.22) enjoyed presentations for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, ‘She Hulk: Attorney at Law’ and ‘Secret Invasion’, while studio boss Kevin Feige shared the details for their other upcoming releases.
After walking fans through the end of Phase Four, Kevin revealed Phase Five will include ‘The Marvels’, which will open in cinemas on 28 July, 2023, ‘Blade’, which will be out on 3 November, 2023, and ‘Captain America: New World Order’, which is set for release on 3 May, 2024. On the small screen, Disney+ will have the second season of ‘Loki’, as well as ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’, and Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.
Phase Six projects announced were ‘Fantastic Four’, which will be released on 8 November 2024, and the two movies which will end the phase, ‘Avengers: the Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ which will both be released in 2025, on 2 May and 7 November respectively.
During the presentation, the ‘Black Pantha: Wakanda Forever’ introduction kicked off with dancers and drummers accompanying musicians Baaba Maal and Massamba Diop, before director Ryan Coogler shared a story about his first appearance at Comic-Con alongside late star Chadwick Boseman.
The filmmaker recalled how the actor squeezed his shoulder in excitement.
He said: “He was really strong and he was getting excited and as the clip went on he was squeezing my shoulder the whole time and when it finished, I couldn’t even lift my arm.
“I felt his hand for the rest of that day. Standing here with you all, listening to that music and thinking about it all, I promise you I can feel his hand on me right now.
He continued: “Chad is no longer with us physically but his spirit, his passion, his genius, his pride in his culture and the impact that he made on this industry will be felt forever. We put our love for Chadwick into this film and we also put our passion.
“It’s a roller coaster of a movie.”

Tatiana Maslany mentored by Mark Ruffalo for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

OHMYGOSSIP — Tatiana Maslany was mentored by ‘Hulk’ actor Mark Ruffalo before her role in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’.
In the new Disney+ show, the ‘Orphan Black’ star plays the lead role of Jessica Walters – Bruce Banner’s lawyer cousin who ends up sharing his transformative abilities after he gives her a blood transfusion – and she’s revealed Marvel veteran Mark was on hand to help her.
She told SFX magazine: “There’s something about Mark that’s just so open. When you’ve worked in this industry for long enough, it can be, probably, quite easy to be closed and to distrust and not to play because you get known for one thing, and so then you have to uphold some kind of legacy of work. But with Mark, you’re meeting somebody who will just spill it all and give it.”
Mark’s character of Bruce Banner appears in the show as well and Tatiana admits their off-screen mentorship mirrored what was happening on screen as one Hulk advised the other.
She added: “So much of the dynamic is (Bruce Banner) importing about being the Hulk and Jen sort of taking what I want and what I don’t want.
It hilariously mirrored what we were doing off-camera as well.”
‘She-Hulk’ executive producer/director Kat Cairo also weighed in on the actors’ work together – revealing the paid had a lot of fun.
Kat said: “They came together and they just brought out the best in each other. And I think most importantly, they had fun. And especially when you’re doing comic book projects, you want to be having fun.”
‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ debuts on Disney+ from August 17.

The ‘Suicide Squad’ actress has been busy working on the ‘Barbie’ movie but she took time out from her hectic Hollywood schedule to pay tribute to the show where she first found fame as Donna Freedman, who she played from 2008 to 2011.
The ‘Neighbours’ Twitter account also confirmed on Saturday (23.07.22) that ‘House’ actor Jesse Spencer will reprise his role as Billy Kennedy and Kym Valentine will be back as his sister Libby, while Carla Bonner will make an appearance as Steph Scully and singer Delta Goodrem will be back as Nina Tucker.
They tweeted: “Surprise!
“You didn’t think we were done did you?!

It was previously confirmed the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce and Natalie Bassingthwaite will be returning to Erinsborough to mark the programme’s final episodes.
The Australian soap will end after 37 years on 29 July.
Back in February, Channel 5 confirmed they were axing the show.
A spokesperson said at the time: “‘Neighbours’ will no longer air on Channel 5 beyond this summer.
“It’s been a much-loved part of our schedule for more than a decade, and we’d like to thank the cast, Fremantle and all of the production team for their fantastic work on this iconic series.
“We’d also of course like to thank the fans for their loyal support of Neighbours across the years.
“We recognise that there will be disappointment about this decision, however our current focus is on increasing our investment in original UK drama, which has strong appeal for our viewers.”

Whoopi Goldberg: You are never fully happy with scripts

OHMYGOSSIP — Whoopi Goldberg admits it’s impossible to be fully satisfied with movie scripts.
Iconic comedy franchise ‘Sister Act’ – which stars Whoopi as singer Deloris Van Cartier who was forced to go undercover as a nun after witnessing a crime – will return for a third instalment with director Tim Federle at the helm, and the returning leading lady has admitted that while she is “hopeful” fans will enjoy the tale, she’s never “fully happy” with a script as it can translate differently when spoken.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she said: “You are never fully happy with the script.
“Sometimes what looks right on paper doesn’t come out of your mouth the right way, but I’m very hopeful that people will be happy.”
Regina Y. Hicks and Karin Gist are in charge of the script.
Tyler Perry and Tom Leonardis are serving as producers on the new flick.
The original 1992 movie followed Deloris, a nightclub singer who is forced to go into hiding as a nun in a convent. She inadvertently ends up turning the convent choir into a soulful chorus with a Motown repertoire – but the sudden popularity of the choir threatens to jeopardise her identity.
The film proved to be a huge hit and spawned a sequel, ‘Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, the following year as well as a Broadway musical.
Whoopi had previously revealed she and film bosses were “working diligently” on a new movie.
The 66-year-old actress said: “For a long time, they kept saying no one wanted to see it. And then quite recently, it turns out, that that may not be true. People may want to see it.
“So we’re working diligently to try to figure out how to get the gang together and come back.”
Whoopi, who featured in the original cast alongside Dame Maggie Smith and Kathy Najimy, also teased that the new film will be “fun”.
She explained: “It’s fun and it feels good. And you know, nobody’s mad. It’s just listen – bad singing, great singing, OK singing and then nuns. What’s better than that?”

Denise Welch wants to enjoy life more

OHMYGOSSIP — Denise Welch plans to work less so she can “enjoy herself” more.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress admitted the death of her beloved dad Vin last September has changed her perspective on things and she’s determined to live life to the full.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “When I lost my dad, it changed my perspective on things. I decided I didn’t have a very good work/life balance.
“My dad was somebody who filled every single minute of his 84 years. I want to carry on that family tradition.
“I just want to enjoy myself. I’m 64 for God’s sake.”
The ‘Loose Women’ star is planning to see more of the world with her husband, Lincoln Townley.
She added: “We are not letting the travel industry disaster stop us from at least giving it a go.
“We’ve been to various countries already this year and we plan to go to more.”
While it has been 10 months since she lost her father to pneumonia, Denise is still “blindsided” by grief.
She said: “My dad was my best friend. We weren’t ready for him to go. I don’t think I’ve ever missed anybody so much.
“It has been months since he died, but grief can blindside you. I spoke to my son about him the other day and we were both crying.
“Every single day we see something and say, ‘Oh my God, Dad would have loved this’. So he’s very much still with us.”
But she has been cheered by messages of support from fans, who used to enjoy Vin’s occasional appearances on ‘Loose Women’.
She said: “People have been so wonderful. A lot of viewers felt like they knew him. He was such a character.
“I have had so many messages from people who have lost parents. I got loads on Father’s Day.”
Denise urged people to stay in contact with their parents while they still can.
She said: “While you’ve got your mum and dad, include them in everything. Ring them more than once every two weeks.
“And never be afraid to say that you love them.”

Tamzin Outhwaite joins cast of The Tower

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamzin Outhwaite will star in the second series of ‘The Tower’.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress is “thrilled” to have joined the cast of the ITV drama series – which firs aired last year and starred the likes of Emmett Scanlan, Gemma Whelan and Jimmy Akingbola – and has already started filming scenes on location in Liverpool.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Tamzin is thrilled to be part of such a fantastic show.
“The character she is playing is brilliant, so she jumped at the chance to do it.”
While it is not yet known who the 51-year-old star will be playing, she’s at the heart of the action as she has already got involved with her first stunt.
The insider added: “Tamzin has been thrown in at the deep end. She shot some really big scenes on location.
“There were police cars everywhere and it was all very dramatic. It’s going to look great on screen.”
It was confirmed earlier this month that ‘The Tower’ will be back for a second season, subtitled ‘Death Message’.
ITV’s head of drama, Polly Hill, said: “It’s a real thrill to be recommissioning The Tower with an excellent cast and script from Patrick Harbinson and the team at Mammoth Screen.
“The characters, brilliantly created by novelist Kate London, certainly resonated with our audience who are keen to learn what happens next.”
The show will see Gemma’s DS Sarah Collins transferred to Homicide Command, where she is asked to re-open the case of a missing school girl who disappeared on the day of Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997, while DI Kieran Shaw (Scanlan) has Lizzie Adama (Tahirah Sharif) and Arif Johar (Michael Karim) investigate a domestic violence complaint about Mark (Charley Palmer Rotwell), who has been accused of beating his partner Georgina (Rosa Coduri) and terrorising their daughter:
A synopsis for the new series teased: “”Lizzie persuades Georgina to tell the truth about what Mark has done to her, enabling Lizzie and Arif to arrest him. However, once the case gets to court, Lizzie finds herself cross-examined on the stand, leaving the whole case on a knife-edge.
“Sarah knows that Fedden has handed her an impossible challenge, but she throws herself into it with typical determination and thoroughness. And, gradually, perhaps helped by the fact that she too was a teenager of Tania’s age back in 1997, she begins to uncover clues that previous investigations had overlooked.”

Constance Wu grateful Chris Pratt was so supportive

OHMYGOSSIP — Constance Wu felt “really fortunate” to work with Chris Pratt on ‘The Terminal List’.
The 40-year-old actress admitted it was “hard” going back to set for the first time after her and Ryan Kattner’s daughter was born in August 2020 because she missed her baby so much, so she was thankful she could discuss the subject with her co-star – who has son Jack, nine, with ex-wife Anna Faris, and daughters Lyla, 23 months, and Eloise, two months, with spouse Katherine Schwarzenegger – because he was going through a similar situation.
She told the Hollywood Reporter: “My first day on set was hard.
“I missed my baby. It was the hardest day to stay at work because it was so emotional, something so many moms go through on their first day back at work.
“[Chris] has another newborn now, but around the same time back then, Katherine and I had our babies around the same time. Talk about someone who really understood what I was going through — Chris was so supportive and kind and caring on set. I’m really fortunate to have had him as my partner.”
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star believes parenthood has impacted every aspect of her life, including the choices she makes in her career but she doesn’t think she’s lost herself along the way.
She said: “I actually feel like I’m more myself than I’ve ever been because [motherhood] really makes you enjoy the present moment rather than always hustling to be someone or get somewhere or do something.
“You get to enjoy your daughter trying a strawberry for the first time and truly it’s beautiful.”
Before having her child, Constance previously admitted she loves her work so much, she goes to acing classed in her free time.
She said: “I love what I do. It’s more fun for me than going to a party. When I have a day off, I go to acting class. I’m there with all the other actors who are struggling and waiting tables and trying to become actors, just because it’s fun. It’s where I feel most free.”

Declan Donnelly welcomes a baby son after the death of his brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Declan Donnelly has welcomed a baby son with wife Ali Astall.
The 45-year-old TV star – who already has three-year-old Isla with Ali – had not publicly announced that his wife was pregnant but hailed baby Jack as a “ray of light” following the recent death of his brother Dermott.
He wrote on Twitter: “Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light. He is wonderful and Isla is beyond excited to be a big sister! D x”
The baby’s middle name is thought to be a tribute to Dec’s regular co-star and best friend Ant McPartlin – with whom he fronts television favourites such as ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’.
The happy news for the couple comes just weeks after Dec’s brother Father Dermott Donnelly died suddenly from a suspected brain bleed at the age of 55.
At the time, a spokesman for the ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ host said: “It is with great sadness that we
confirm the death of Fr Dermott Donnelly who died peacefully this afternoon in hospital surrounded by his family and close friends. We ask for the utmost privacy for the Donnelly family at this difficult time.”
Father Peter Kyi Maung, who served with Dermott at St Joseph’s Church in Stanley, Co. Durham, said: “He was hardly breathing in the bed, it was so sad. They think he had bleeding on the brain. Declan had come to be with him
and their mum was there as well, I saw her at the hospital and it was so hard for her, a mother seeing her dying son. When she hugged me, I knew how much she was suffering.”

Deji Adeniyi and Reece Ford dumped from Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Deji Adeniyi and Reece Ford have been dumped from ‘Love Island.’
The 25-year-old had entered the hit ITV2 reality dating show as a bombshell alongside model Reece but the pair were forced to leave the Mallorca villa on Sunday night’s (24.07.22) episode along with girlfriends Lacey Edwards and Nathalia Compos, having received the lowest number of votes from the public.
Speaking after their exit, Deji said: “I stand by what I did. I don’t want to change anything. I was true to myself, which is why I went for Indiyah and why we got along as much as we did. If anything was fake she would have picked up on it and I would defo have not been myself. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Meanwhile, Swindon-born Lacey, 25, – who works as a professional dancer – arrived in the villa as a bombshell on Wednesday (20.07.22) and admitted she is just “grateful” for the experience and is excited to see how things progress with Deji following their exits from the show.
She said: “I am just honestly really grateful that I got to be a part of the show. I’ve made really good friends and I am excited to see what happens with me and Deji!”
Meanwhile, Nathalia explained that the couples already competing in the villa had such a “strong connection” that she was unlikely to be able to change any of that and predicted that David and Ekin-Su will ultimately be crowned winners of the show.
She said: “‘At the time that I walked in I thought there could be something for me but after being there I saw that the couples in there had a strong connection having been together for a long time so I don’t think more time would change that. Davide and Ekin-Su have a very good chemistry, they get along very well, and they are also very entertaining so I think they have a very big chance of winning the show.”
‘Love Island’ airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.

Katie Holmes recalls simple times in Dawson’s Creek

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Holmes has recalled the simpler times she enjoyed while working on ‘Dawson’s Creek’ as the cast prepare to celebrate the teen drama’s 25th anniversary.
The 43-year-old actress shot to fame playing Josephine ‘Joey’ Potter opposite James Van Der Beek as Dawson Leery and Michelle Williams as Jen Lindley – and Katie has insisted she thinks the show’s “simplicity” helped make it a huge hit.
She told ET Online: “I think it’s simplicity. It was, you know, four kids trying to figure out how to grow up. Going through the emotions of that.
“That was before phones and before the world really changed. So, there’s an element to it – to a right now – that’s very nostalgic. Like, wow, I can’t even remember that time before we were always looking at our screen.”
The show will turn 25 in January with the anniversary of the pilot episode’s debut. It went on to run for six seasons with 128 episodes until coming to an end in 2003.
It comes after Katie’s former co-star Joshua Jackson revealed he fought hard for his character Pacey to end up with Joey on the show.
The 43-year-old actor was “the advocate” for his alter ego to see out the show in a relationship with his on/off partner – who was played by Katie – when the drama came to an end in 2003, even though creator Kevin Williamson was keen to see Joey end up with her childhood best friend Dawson.
Joshua told Entertainment Weekly: “I am the advocate! I was like ‘Hell no! No. No. No. That’s not gonna work for me.’ I had a whole conversation with Kevin (Williamson) about this. “Like ‘Look, I get it. This is the idea that you had in your head, but I’m just gonna ask you to watch the tale of the tape and this is the more interesting end for these characters.'”
Despite his campaign, Joshua had no idea how the show would play out until he received his last scripts. He added: “[Kevin Williamson] only came back to write the finale. So, I knew whenever we got the finale script.”

Madge Bishop returning to Neighbours as a ghost.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madge Bishop is returning to ‘Neighbours’ as a ghost.
The long-running soap opera is set to screen its last episode on 1 August after 37 years on air and although the character lost a battle with cancer back in 2001, actress Anne Charleston reportedly returned to the set to film scenes for the finale.
A source told The Sun: “There was no way that someone as iconic and legendary as Madge wasn’t going to be seen in the soap’s final ever episode. It was just about how they could have her back when her death was such a huge part of the show’s history. It’s very clever. The fans are going to get goosebumps – it’s magical.”
The news comes just days after it was confirmed that Hollywood star Margot Robbie – who first found fame playing Donna Freedman on the Aussie soap from 2008 until 2011 – will also make a return for the final episode.

OHMYGOSSIP — Keanu Reeves’ return as John Wick has been unveiled in a teaser clip.
The Hollywood actor is reprising his role as the action movie assassin for a fourth movie and now fans have been given their first look at his big return in a new promo which shows the character walking through the snow, meeting with shadowy figures, stomping through Paris, France and going through a vigorous training routine.
As the clip plays, a voice over says: “Have you given any thought to where this ends? … No one, not even you, can kill everyone.”
It also features Laurence Fishburne returning as the Bowery King while Ian McShane reprises his role as Winston.
‘John Wick 4’ is due for release in March 2023.
The new trailer comes after franchise producer Basil Iwanyk revealed John Wick was actually meant to be played by a much older actor.
Wick was originally scripted as a 75-year-old man but the part was later given to 57-year-old Keanu instead.
Writing in his new book ‘They Shouldn’t Have Killed His Dog: The Complete Uncensored Ass-Kicking Oral History of John Wick, Gun Fu, and the New Age of Action’, Basil explained: “One of my best friends is Charlie Ferraro at United Talent Agency, who sent me this script from (screenwriter) Derek Kolstad called ‘Scorn’. The lead was a 75-year-old man, 25 years after being retired. “It was the fun of watching Clint Eastwood kick ass. I thought, ‘Okay, there’s probably one or two names you could do this with: Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford.'”
Iwanyk then explained how Keanu came into the picture to play the assassin. He said: “My other best friend in the world, this guy Jimmy Darmody, is an agent at CAA, who at the time represented Keanu. “And he said, ‘Do you have any action movies for Keanu Reeves?’ I remember thinking to myself, ‘Keanu is one of the great action stars of the last 25 years – what happened to him? What’s he been doing?’ And he was directing his movie, ‘Man of Tai Chi,’ and doing ’47 Ronin’. We give him the script, we tell him, ‘Clearly, you’re not 75.'”
