Big Brother spin-off ‘returning alongside main show’

OHMYGOSSIP — ITV are planning to bring back Big Brother’s spin-off show.
The channel confirmed earlier this month that the main programme will return on ITV2 and ITVX in 2023, and it’s now been revealed that the sister show – which has previously been known as ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’, ‘Big Brother’s Big Mouth’ and ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ – is expected to be back also.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “ITV knows that it’s not just the main show that gets fans talking, and the spin-off for Big Brother has always been a favourite for viewers.
“It’s been the spring- board for some huge careers over the years, and its irreverent content and style makes for great telly.
“It’s early days but with the comeback of the main show, all things look positive for Big Brother’s sister to return too. What it will be called remains to be seen, but expect carnage.”
‘This Morning’ presenter Dermot O’Leary co-hosted ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ in 2002 alongside Natalie Casey.
Russell Brand presented ‘Big Brother’s Big Mouth’, with the likes of Jack Whitehall, James Corden, and Davina McCall – who hosted the main show during its run on Channel 4 from 2000 to 2010 – all stepping in at times.
More recently, Rylan Clark presented ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ after taking over from Emma Willis, who hosted the main show on Channel 5 until it came to an end in 2018.
ITV are yet to announce who will take over as the host of ‘Big Brother’ next year, but they have vowed to deliver a programme that will feature “familiar format points” which entertained viewers “first time round”, as well as some “additional twists”.
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2, ITVBe and CITV, said: “This refreshed, contemporary new series of ‘Big Brother’ will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience.
“We’re beyond excited to bring this iconic series to ITV2 and ITVX where it should especially engage with our younger viewers.”

Paige Thorne returning to paramedic job

OHMYGOSSIP — Paige Thorne is returning to her job as a paramedic.
The 23-year-old former ‘Love Island’ star is “excited” about being reunited with her ambulance, because she “really enjoys” being a paramedic, but she plans to do “other things” alongside the role.
She said: “I’ve got a meeting to go back to paramedic work as well, so that will be exciting. I actually saw an ambulance the other day with sirens on. I had like serious FOMO [fear of missing out]!
“I was like, ‘Get me my ambulance back!’ So I’m going to go back into that a little bit and just see what opportunities come from that.
“It’s one of those things – I genuinely just love my job. So why wouldn’t I want to go back to it? I really enjoyed it. But I’ll do other things alongside it.”
Paige is dating Adam Collard after finding love on the ITV2 dating show, and the pair have responded to recent speculation that they may have split after they went to see their own families alone.
Adam – who returned to the villa this year after previously taking part in the show in 2018 – said: “What it was is we’re really big on family. It’s one of the things that I like so much about her, but [turning to Paige] you wanted to go to Swansea and keep her mum happy.
“Obviously that was my job as well, and then I wanted to go home as well. And that was it.
“I think it was just because we’re the only Islanders that did that and we didn’t stay in London. So now we’re good. We always knew we were.”
Paige added: “My mum would have been so upset if I didn’t go home and Adam would have been even more in the dog house.”
During the Meet the Parents episode of the show, Paige’s mum entered the villa and admitted she “didn’t buy” her relationship with Adam, but he has now won her around.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, Paige said: “Oh, 100 percent. She absolutely loves him now. It took all of two minutes when he came to Swansea and she was just obsessed as were the rest of the family.
“So Adam came down and I was like, ‘I’ll throw him in the deep end, just get him to meet all of the fam, all at once’, and he just won the room over as soon as he walked in. I reckon it was the shots that did it, and dancing on the table.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Mellor is set to return to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 46-year-old star looks set to be busy in the coming months after it was confirmed this month he has signed up for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, and now it looks like he’ll be back on the ITV soap as killer Harvey Gaskell.
According to Metro.co.uk, Will has been filming some scenes as his evil Harvey, who is currently in prison.
In the meantime, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star may be thinking about life on the dancefloor rather than behind bars after he became the first celebrity contestant confirmed for this year’s ‘Strictly’.
The ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ actor is doing the show for his mum, but admits it will be a “huge challenge” for him.
He said: “I’m honestly so chuffed to be taking part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this year!
“Not going to lie, it’s totally out of my comfort zone and I know it will be a huge challenge but that’s what life is all about.
“This is also my mum’s favourite show and she’s had a really tough few years so I’m doing this is for her as well. Bring it on!”

Jacques O’Neill attends first therapy session since Love Island exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacques O’Neill has attended his first therapy session following his ‘Love Island’ stint.
The 23-year-old rugby league player admitted the meeting took him “out of [his] comfort zone”, but insisted he has “needed” it for years.
It comes after he was recently accused of mocking fellow Love Islander Tasha Ghouri after a private Instagram Story was leaked online, resulting in Tasha and boyfriend Andrew Le Page unfollowing Jacques on Instagram.
Jacques wrote on his Instagram Stories: “I want to acknowledge the situation that’s happening right now and apologise if my behaviour has caused offence or been misinterpreted the last few weeks.
“I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone and I’ve not meant for anything to come across that way at all. It was not my intention and I’m genuinely sorry if it has.
“Life has been very overwhelming recently and admittedly I’ve probably not handled myself in the best possible way. I take full responsibility for my actions.
“I’m aware I’m far from perfect and that there is work that needs to be done on myself.
“I had my first therapy session on Monday which really took me out of my comfort zone, I know I have needed this for years but it’s only now I have decided to get help. I know it’s a step in the right direction for me even after just 1 session. (sic)”
Jacques insisted he is not seeking “sympathy” and he is now hoping to “move forward” with his life.
He added: “I’m not asking for sympathy, I just want to acknowledge the situation and move forward as positively I can.
“However, I know this can be used as an important lesson for me moving forward and over the coming years.
“I hope I can become the person I want to be and use this new platform to spread a positive message.
“I’m sorry to anyone that I have let down x. (sic)”
Jacques quit ‘Love Island’ early after admitting he wasn’t feeling himself in the villa.
During his time on the ITV2 dating show, his mum revealed on his social media channels that he was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) as a child.
Since leaving the villa, Jacques has admitted he was “so angry” at his mum for revealing he had ADHD at first, but the revelation has ended up being a positive in his life.
He said: “When I got out, I was so ready to delete that, but I was so angry with my mum. I was like, ‘Why have you put that out? It’s looking like an excuse for my behaviour.’
“With me I’m very like … I deal with everything, it’s not about ADHD. We struggle, people with ADHD will understand me, we struggle a lot different to someone without ADHD.
“When I first came out, it was very different for me. I was scared, very scared of life and what was to come next for me.
“When I was in that holding villa after I left, I just wanted my mum, all I wanted to do was just be with my mum and just go into hiding. I was getting so much hate, me and my mum were getting death threats and everything.
“I started getting loads of people contacting me and saying I’m an inspiration with the ADHD side and a bit of a role model.
“I was getting fully grown men messaging me saying, ‘Love you, you’re an inspiration,’ I was overwhelmed with it all.
“If it wasn’t for the people supporting me or giving me that love, I’d be in such a bad place, I can’t thank them enough really.”

Karl Urban says Thor: Ragnarok role was a no-brainer

OHMYGOSSIP — Karl Urban says agreeing to play Skurge in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ was a no-brainer.
The 50-year-old actor was asked by his fellow Kiwi pal Taika Waititi if he’d be up for portraying the Asgardian warrior in the 2017 Marvel blockbuster – which stars Chris Hemsworth in the titular role – and it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.
He told GQ: “I really just got a call from Taika out of the blue saying, ‘Hey, do you wanna come and play? I’ve got this cool role of Skurge. You’d be working with Cate Blanchett.’ I’m like, sign me up. I don’t need to read anything. It was fantastic. I remember turning up to work one day on set and there’s Sam Neil, [Sir]Anthony Hopkins, and just sitting around. And that, to me, was one of my favourite days. When you’re sitting around with Tony Hopkins and Sam Neil shooting the s***. Sam Neil was probably one of the actors that had really inspired me to be an actor. Coming from New Zealand, getting into an international career. And same with Anthony Hopkins.”
Taika returned to helm the latest movie in the series, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, and hailed it his “craziest film”.
The 46-year-old filmmaker insisted the film “shouldn’t make sense”.
He explained: “I’ve done some crazy s*** in my life. I’ve lived, like, ten lifetimes. But it’s the craziest film I’ve ever done.”
The acclaimed movie-maker – whose previous credits include also include ‘Jojo Rabbit’ – admitted that, in a lot of ways, the film isn’t very logical.
He reflected: “If you wrote down all the elements of this film, it shouldn’t make sense.
“It’s almost like it shouldn’t be made. If you walked into a room and said, ‘I want this and this and this.’ Who’s in it? These people. What are you going to call it? Love And Thunder. I mean, you’d never work again. Maybe I won’t after this.”

Matthew McConaughey gets a big kick out of playing villains

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew McConaughey says getting to do “bad stuff” and act “depraved” on screen is a big thrill.
The 52-year-old actor – who previously revealed he once turned down a $14.5 million offer for a rom-com after a six-month sabbatical from the film industry to get away from the genre – starred as deceiver and sorcerer Walter Padick in 2017 science fantasy Western ‘The Dark Tower’, while he also played the titular murderer in 2011’s ‘Killer Joe’.
And Matthew admits playing characters who are evil or up to no good is intoxicating.
However, he believes such roles are only good for actors are “calm” in their own lives.
Matthew is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “Being bad is the best. It just is.
“It shouldn’t be, but getting to do bad stuff or depraved drama.
“And with no repercussions – in other words, you go home, see your family at the end of the day – you know, I like that.
“I think it’s true that you have to be in a calm open space first in your life if you are to do that and I’m glad to say I am certainly there.
“So beyond that, I feel there is a real freedom to shed light on the shade of a character.”
The ‘Magic Mike’ star previously revealed how “no one” wanted to cast him after he rejected romantic comedies.
Matthew became a Hollywood heartthrob after starring in movies like ‘The Wedding Planner’, ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’ and ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’.
He said: “Now, 14 months go by after that six months where nothing comes in, I call my agent every other day, ‘What do you got?’
“‘Buddy, no one is even mentioning your name. I bring up your name they say, ‘Don’t even want to talk about it.’ Now I’m going, ‘I may have just taken a one-way ticket out of Hollywood. I may never work in Hollywood again’.
“But I had a hunch that I was like with each day – You know when you go and you endure something and you’re taking a pennant, with each day you build a little bit more honour and strength to drag it into this, the less it’s even going to be a possibility of me going back. I was not going back.”
However, the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ actor’s plan worked out, as his self-imposed exile resulted in people wanting to get him on board for different projects.
He added: “Guess who is now a new novel good idea for dramatic roles like ‘Killer Joe’, ‘Mud’, ‘Paperboy’, ‘Bernie’, ‘True Detective’, ‘Dallas Buyers Club’, ‘Magic Mike’? Me. I found anonymity in the 20 months.
“I turned into, ‘Where the hell’s McConaughey? He’s not in a rom-com in the theatre in front of me. He’s not in a rom-com in my living room. I’m not seeing him shirtless on the beach, where the hell is he? I don’t know what he’s doing.’
“I found anonymity. I unbranded, and then when those came to me, the scripts came to me that I want to do that dramatic fair, I attacked it with fangs instead and just ate it up, because I knew what I wanted to do, but it was the un-branding. It was the go find anonymity again.”

James May ‘hospitalised after crashing a car into a wall at 75mph when a stunt went haywire’

OHMYGOSSIP — James May was reportedly rushed to hospital after crashing a car into a wall at 75mph when a stunt went haywire.
‘The Grand Tour’ presenter, 59, is said to have cracked a rib and needed a brain scan before he was given the all-clear.
May and co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson, 62, and Richard Hammond, 52, had been filming a dangerous drag-style race for their Amazon Prime show when the accident happened.
A source told The Sun on Friday night (12.08.22): “It looked extremely worrying at first.
“Jeremy and Richard were concerned about their mate and the paramedics swooped in quickly.
“As ever on a shoot of this scale, medical staff are waiting in the wings in case – as they did here – things go horribly wrong.
“James smashed his head quite hard in the impact, and was bloodied by it.
“He was complaining about pain in his back and neck.
“He broke at least one rib and was quite shaken by it.
“He had to abandon filming and Jeremy and Richard had to leave him in hospital and carry on with the trip.
“He was only able to join them once given the all-clear a day or so later.”
The shock comes after Hammond’s 288mph jet-powered car crash in 2006 while filming for the BBC’s ‘Top Gear’.
May’s accident is said to have happened at the decommissioned Olavsvern naval base near the city of Tromsø, as part of a new Grand Tour special which will be released later this year.
The presenter and his co-hosts apparently took it in turns to speed rally cars along a tunnel towards a rock wall at a Norwegian naval base.
The tunnel’s lights only came on as the cars sped along, giving all three just seconds to react as they ran out of space, according to The Sun.
May – ironically nicknamed Captain Slow by his pals – is said to have braked too late while travelling at 75mph and jackknifed into the wall.
The host was also said to have been helped out of his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8 by paramedics, before being taken to hospital for a brain scan and X-rays.
May apparently had to abandon filming while Clarkson and Hammond continued on their Arctic Circle trip without him.

Winona Ryder always gets asked about Beetlejuice

OHMYGOSSIP — Winona Ryder always gets questions about ‘Beetlejuice’ and ‘Edward Scissorhands’.
The 50-year-old actress starred as Lydia Deetz in Tim Burton’s 1988 fantasy horror comedy classic and the iconic filmmaker’s 1990 fantasy romance starring her ex-partner Johnny Depp in the titular role.
Although fans still quiz her on the two iconic flicks, she is also getting plenty of attention for her role as Joyce Byers, the mother of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), in the hit Netflix sci-fi series ‘Stranger Things’.
She told Best UK: “I still get asked about ‘Beetlejuice’ and ‘Edward Scissorhands’ but I’m mostly Joyce or Will’s mom now.”
In May, it was rumoured that 59-year-old Johnny would be making his post-trial film comeback by starring in ‘Beetlejuice 2’.
Fans flooded social media with the claim after they noticed actor’s name seemed to appear on a call sheet found when they said they searched for the upcoming ‘Beetlejuice 2’, set for release in 2025, on Google.
Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B were reported in March to be making the sequel for Warner Bros., though there was no confirmed news on casting or plot at the time.
In the original, Michael Keaton played the titular role, with the cast also including Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis.
The cult classic followed Alec’s Adam Maitland and his wife Barbara (Geena) who die in a car accident and find themselves haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house.
When Charles and Delia Deetz (Jeffrey Jones and Catherine O’Hara) move in with their daughter Lydia, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success and their efforts attract a spirit called Beetlejuice, whose help quickly becomes dangerous for everyone involved.

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt has joined Ryan Gosling in the cast of ‘The Fall Guy’.
The 39-year-old actress has been tapped to star alongside ‘The Gray Man’ star for the new movie, which is inspired by the 1980s television series of the same name.
David Leitch is directing the film and is also producing with partner Kelly McCormick for their 87North banner.
Drew Pearce, who worked with Leitch on the ‘Fast and Furious’ spin-off ‘Hobbs and Shaw’, has written the script and serves as an executive producer on the flick. Gosling is also a producer on the project.
Plot details are not yet known but the movie is set to be released in March 2024.
The original series aired on ABC from 1981 to 1986 and featured Lee Majors as a Hollywood stunt man who also works as a bounty hunter to make ends meet.
Douglas Barr co-starred as his sidekick while Heather Thomas played a fellow stunt performer.
Emily previously revealed that she likes to play adventurous roles and enjoys a “leap into the unknown” when she takes on a part.
Reflecting on her performance as botanist Lily Houghton in the film ‘Jungle Cruise’, the star said: “They give me food for thought. They make me think. I do want to play people for whatever reason, I feel I have an in with them, and it’s really a theory as to why I think I have an in with them.
“So I don’t think I’m nearly as adventurous-spirited as Lily is, but I do love the leap in the unknown. I really do. I love it about every choice I make. I just like to do stuff that moves me, so that hopeful spirit she has was close to home. I loved it. I understood it.”

Chris Kamara has turned to hypnosis to beat speech problems

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Kamara has turned to hypnosis in a bid to combat his speech problems.
The 64-year-old pundit left his role on Sky Sports’ ‘Soccer Saturday’ earlier this year after developing apraxia, a neurological condition that leaves sufferers struggling to get their words out.
‘Kammy’ – who has now launched a football podcast for the BBC with Ben Shepherd – is trying to find a cure and has embraced hypnotherapy.
The Leeds-based hypnotherapist Daniel McDermid has been treating Kamara and described the beloved pundit as an “inspiration”.
Daniel tweeted: “It’s been an absolute pleasure helping you and being part of your treatment Kammy.
“You’re one of life’s genuine gentlemen and an inspiration to so many. You’re doing great and truly deserve every success.”
Chris replied: “Thanks Daniel. You have given me great confidence.”
The broadcaster featured as a commentator on the ITV series ‘The Games’ earlier this year and revealed that he had offered to quit the show following his diagnosis.
Kamara said: “Thankfully I’m on the mend. I did offer to quit but ITV wouldn’t have it, any way shape or form.
But I’d like to thank them for that. They brought in Simon Brotherton to work alongside me in the commentary box, which will be great.
“Simon and I have known each other for a long time. We did Five Live back in 1998 together, when I first started broadcasting. I know Simon and I know how brilliant he is.”
Chris also thanked ITV for their support during the difficult time.
He added: “I’d just like to say thanks to ITV and to everyone who has been so supportive. They’ve been incredible, really.”

Ncuti Gatwa will start filming for Doctor Who in November

OHMYGOSSIP — Ncuti Gatwa will begin filming for ‘Doctor Who’ in November.
The ‘Sex Education’ star was unveiled as the Fourteenth Doctor by returning showrunner Russell T. Davies in May and The Hollywood Reporter claims that he will get the keys to the TARDIS by the end of this year.
Ncuti will take over from Jodie Whittaker, whose four-year spell as the Thirteenth Doctor is set to come to an end in a special episode in October to mark the centenary of the BBC.
Another special episode is set to be broadcast in 2023 to mark the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’, with the Tenth Doctor David Tennant reprising his role and Neil Patrick Harris featuring as a villain.
Ncuti, 29, will return as Eric Effiong in the fourth series of the Netflix hit ‘Sex Education’ and his first full series as the Doctor is unlikely to air until 2024. He is also set to appear in the hotly-anticipated ‘Barbie’ movie with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
The decision to cast Gatwa as the Time Lord has been praised as “sensational” by Matt Smith – who portrayed the Eleventh Doctor.
The 39-year-old star said: “I think it’s the most sensational bit of casting.
“What an actor – he’s brilliant in ‘Sex Education’.
“I think he’s got something ‘other’ that that part really needs.”
Smith added: “I think it’s an inspired piece of casting, and along with Russell [T. Davies, showrunner], who’s such a great leader of that show.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen him in ‘Sex Education’, there’s a warmth and wit and a real depth to his talent that I think … honestly, I think it’s an inspired bit of casting and I’m really, really excited for the show.”

Antoine Fuqua’s career regret

OHMYGOSSIP — Antoine Fuqua says it will “always break [his] heart” passing up the chance to helm ‘American Gangster’.
The 57-year-old filmmaker was all set to direct the 2007 biographical crime film, but departed due to “creative differences” with Universal.
Sir Ridley Scott, 84, ended up taking charge of the flick, which starred the likes of Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe, and Fuqua will always regret his decision to quit but admits, in hindsight, he wasn’t ready for the job.
He said: “It breaks my heart just to say it out loud.
“I didn’t know enough then.
“I don’t think I navigated it the way I should have or had a full perspective and understanding of the business, like the fiscal responsibilities and the pressure that everyone’s under, including the executives.
“You do have to pause and take in the big picture.
“That one got away from me, and that will always break my heart.”
Fuqua is gutted he missed out on another opportunity to work with Washington again, who he has worked with on several blockbusters since 2001’s ‘Training Day’.
In the same interview, the ‘Guilty’ director shared how he instantly clicked with the 67-year-old gangster film legend.
He recalled how he empowered him as a “nervous” newcomer to the directing world on the set of ‘Training Day’.
Fuqua told The Hollywood Reporter: “On [Denzel’s] very first scene, I remember covering Denzel and I got everything I wanted as a director.
“I felt good about it.
“But I’m this young guy and I’m a little nervous. I don’t want to screw this up.
“So I turned to Denzel and said, ‘You want to come to the monitor and take a look to see if you’re happy?’
And Denzel turned to me and said, ‘Man, you’re flying this plane. Call me when you’re ready,’ and then got up and walked away.
Then I looked at Ethan [Hawke, who played Jake Hoyt] and he gave me a look like, ‘Yep,’ and he walked away.
“It was a confirmation that they trusted me. It empowered me to really go for it.”

Aaron Taylor-Johnson had to fight for Bullet Train part

OHMYGOSSIP — Aaron Taylor-Johnson had to fight for his role in ‘Bullet Train’.
The 32-year-old actor plays the British assassin Tangerine in the new action-comedy flick and revealed that he had to compete for the part after turning down the chance to work with director David Leitch on ‘Deadpool 2’.
Aaron told The Hollywood Reporter: “David Leitch actually asked me to be in ‘Deadpool 2’ ages ago. So I met him, but I didn’t do that.
“So when this came around… he was like, ‘Get in line, buddy. There’s like ten other actors who want this job, and they’ve got a bigger name than you do.'”
Aaron picked up a scar from a comedic fight scene with co-star Brad Pitt and was grateful that his character had his own combat style.
He explained: “All these characters have their own fighting styles, and I think that’s important.
“In a lot of action movies, they all fight as if they’ve been trained as martial artists, and you just know that some stunt double is doing everything.
“And I think that’s really boring, whereas in this movie, all these characters fight very differently and distinctively.”
Aaron continued: “That’s when you create the comedy element because you really know who your character is. Fighting in a confined space also adds to that.
“So Brad and I would just go, ‘What if we fight with a packet of crisps and a bottle of sparkling water?’ You start to take from the Jackie Chans of the world and the Buster Keatons of the world, and that’s what makes a David Leitch movie.”

Helen Skelton joins Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Skelton has been confirmed for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Countryfile’ presenter has been announced as the 15th and final contestant for the latest series of the popular BBC dance show.
Helen, 39, previously competed on ‘Strictly’ in the 2014 Christmas special and news of her participation was confirmed on host Claudia Winkleman’s BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday (13.08.22).
Skelton, who is set to begin hosting a new show on BBC Radio Five Live on Sunday (14.08.22), revealed that she only agreed to take part in the programme “the other day”.
The former ‘Blue Peter’ host, who split from her husband Richie Myler earlier this year, said: “I did the Christmas one the other year. The hair is the best, the makeup is incredible, the costumes are incredible. Who gets to go to work and be made to look a bit like Beyonce and have a fun time?
“I thought this is madness not to do it, of course I should do it, it will be so much fun.”
Helen completes a lineup that features Will Mellor, Kym Marsh, Richie Anderson, Kaye Adams, Jayde Adams, Ellie Simmonds, Tyler West, Matt Goss, Ellie Taylor, Molly Rainford, Tony Adams, Fleur East, Hamza Yassin and James Bye.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that plans to host an episode of ‘Strictly’ at Buckingham Palace have been shelved for this year, even though Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are big fans of the show.
A source said: “There has been a lot of back and forth about different ideas and different possibilities … but the likelihood is that it’s probably not possible to pull off an episode in the Palace in the time frame.”

Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti to star in their own show

OHMYGOSSIP — Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti are to star in their own TV show.
The ‘Love Island’ winners confirmed that they will travel to their homelands of Turkey and Italy and cook for each other in a new series that will be broadcast on ITV2.
Confirming the news on Channel 4’s ‘The Big Breakfast’, Davide, 27, said: “Yes I can tell you this.
“We are going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey, for one week in Italy and one week in Turkey. We are going to be on ITV2 and it’s going to be like our own programme.”
Ekin-Su, also 27, said: “It’ll be all real fighting, he’ll be cooking for me, I’ll be cooking for him.
“It’ll be two cultures, meeting families.”
The duo have remained tight-lipped about the next stage of their relationship following the ‘Love Island’ victory, with Ekin-Su revealing that they will announcer their plans “soon”.
Ekin-Su is believed to have put pen to paper on a fashion deal with brand Oh Polly that it thought to be worth more than £1 million following her success on the reality show.
A source told The Sun Online: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand.
“She is the most in demand ‘Love Island’ star ever.
“There’s a pretty well-trodden path for ‘Love Island’ winners. Over the past seven series it’s the usual fast fashion, drugstore make-up and then, of course, teeth whitening and protein shakes.”

David Attenborough is fronting new BBC show set in Britain and Ireland

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Attenborough is working on a new BBC series set in Britain and Ireland.
The 96-year-old broadcaster and naturalist will front a new five part natural history series – which has the working title ‘Wild Isles’ – which has been filmed over three years using “the very latest technology”.
In a statement, he said: “In my long lifetime, I have travelled to almost every corner of our planet.
“I can assure you that in the British Isles, as well as astonishing scenery there are extraordinary animal dramas and wildlife spectacles to match anything I have seen on my global travels.”
In a press release, the BBC revealed the show has captured “dramatic new behaviour, from battling butterflies to hunting sea eagles and killer whales” and it will unveil “a previously unseen wild side of the British Isles”.
The series will start with an introductory episode explaining why Britain and Ireland are so important globally for nature, while the four remaining episodes will each focus on woodlands, grasslands, freshwater and marine habitats.
The show has been shot at 4K resolution, while other technology includes aerial photography, motion controlled time-lapse photography, the latest low light cameras and more.
Alastair Fothergill, Executive Producer, added: “I have always wanted to make a landmark series that really does justice to our own extraordinary wildlife.
“I am sure people will be amazed at what is happening right on their own doorstep”.
Jack Bootle – Head of Commissioning, Science and Natural History – said: “The multi-award winning team at Silverback are creating an eye-opening celebration of British and Irish wildlife that has to be seen to be believed.
