Sarah Jayne Dunn is ‘much more financially secure’ since starting OnlyFans

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jayne Dunn is “much more financially secure” since starting OnlyFans.
The 40-year-old actress had played the role of Mandy Richardson on ‘Hollyoaks’ for 25 years and was dropped by bosses of the Channel 4 soap back in 2021 after deciding to sell racy pictures on the subscription service but has insisted the move worked out better for her in terms of money.
She said: “I was doing photoshoots [for ‘Hollyoaks’] anyway, so I was like ‘If there’s a way of doing these and one making money from it and two moving it away from Instagram then that was the way forward for me. That’s not the way it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened to me. So I’m much more financially secure than I have ever been.”
The former soap star went on to explain that actors do not always make a great deal of money unless they hit the “big time” and added that the “beauty” of selling her risque snaps is that she does not have to go looking for work.
She told The Daily Star newspaper: “The way that these shows work is that to be making more money you need to be very, very busy and if you’re not very busy then you’re not making much money – at all. As an actor you don’t really make very much money unless you make it big, big time. So the beauty of being more financially stable is that I’m not having to go out looking for work for the sake of looking for work.”
Bosses at the Channel 4 soap had initially hoped to find a “resolution” with Sarah over the controversy, but eventually decided to terminate her contract because the show is a “youth facing drama.”
In a statement, a spokesperson for the long-running series said:”‘Hollyoaks’ is a youth-facing drama with many young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both in the soap and outside of it. We take our responsibility to our young audience very seriously and therefore the show does not allow any ‘Hollyoaks’ cast members to be active on certain 18+ websites.
“We had hoped we could reach a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to remain in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue to produce content on OnlyFans.”

Louise Thompson has suspected Asherman’s syndrome

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Thompson has suspected Asherman’s syndrome.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star – who has been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) since the birth of her and her fiance Ryan Libbey’s son Leo in November – has been told she may have the rare condition, where adhesions build up inside a person’s uterus, following a private scan.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: “Harley Street clinic is iconic. Just had my appointment with the kindest and most trustworthy obs/gyne…it’s likely that I have adhesions inside my uterus causing something called Asherman’s Syndrome.
“A hysteroscopy would offer a better look inside the cavity than an ultrasound but because I might need to start thinking immunosuppressants, having non essential surgery isn’t really an option.
“The main impacts of Asherman’s are: painful cramping and fertility problems. (sic)”
Louise had earlier revealed to fans she had decided to go private for a scan on her pelvis because her last ultrasound was “inconclusive”, and she would’ve had to wait “months longer” for a follow-up appointment on the NHS.
She wrote: “Going to go and have a scan of my pelvis. First one in about 3 months. The NHS are saying I’ll have to wait months longer for a follow up appointment, so I’m going private…
“Bit of a joke really when I still don’t have any answers as to what’s going on in that region and the last ultrasound was ‘inconclusive’ and the guy joked that it looked like there was something white and shiny in there.
“My cramping has started to get pretty bad and I still haven’t had a menstrual cycle 10 months sooooo.
“I actually received an investigation report with details thicker than the complete works of Shakespeare the other day but I’m afraid to open it.
“I was also scheduled to have a private hysteroscopy (small camera inside) in July but it coincided with my readmission to hospital for my ulcerative colitis, so it’s been on the back burner. Sometimes I can’t believe this is my life. (sic)”
Louise recently admitted she is “haunted” by the fear she will not be “strong enough” to throw her son a first birthday party in November.
She wrote: “I had a reflexology session the other day (which pretty much doubled up as a therapy session) and we ended up discussing recovery. No surprises there. We agreed that it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are: whether you’re grieving a loss, going through a divorce, physically suffering, dealing with ptsd, dissociation or other mental health conditions, whatever it is… one thing that can make recovery 10x harder is having young children. I absolutely hate to admit it but it’s true. If you’ve been through it, i’m sure you can relate. Having someone (or multiple little people) that 100% depend on you whilst going through a tumultuous time is tough squared. Especially if they’re not at school yet. You have to plaster together that strong facade, sticking to their routine religiously whilst placing one foot in front of the other, reciting ‘this two shall pass’ and PARK your own needs and recovery firmly till the end of the day when you’ve put your little ones to bed and hopefully they’ve drifted off into a DEEP peaceful slumber (the longer the better)… then, and only then, can you unpack everything that is going on in your head. All your emotions are free to spill out into a big fat mess or you can just sit and be still with whatever crap you’re dealing with and try to process it, free from the guilt that you might affect their sponge like brains. As you guys already know one of my biggest recurring fears during this whole process is that I’m going to be all over the place as Leo grows up and that it’s going to have an adverse effect on his development so I try to hide as much as possible during daytime! It honestly haunts me ALL THE TIME. That, and the idea that I won’t be strong enough to throw him a birthday party come November. (sic)”

Mary Bedford ‘shaken up’ after car crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Love Island’ star Mary Bedford has been left “very shaken up” following a car crash.
The 23-year-old influencer took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of part of her smashed-up motor, and admitted she had been left “cut and bruised” following the collision.
She wrote: “Someone must have been looking down on me today… very shaken up, cut and bruised but so grateful to be back home tonight.”
Part of her vehicle’s bodywork on the driver’s side had clearly been ripped off.
Last year, Mary told how she had landed her “dream car”, which is thought to have cost around £50,000.
The star shot to fame on last year’s ‘Love Island’. She entered the villa at the Casa Amor stage of the ITV2 dating show and was taken back to the main villa by Toby Aromolaran.
But he later resumed his former romance with Chloe Burrows, and she moved on to Sam Jackson, before hooking up with Aaron Simpson.
The pair later went their separate ways outside of the villa, but Mary had admitted beforehand she was looking forward to introducing the footballer to her family and friends.
When asked who she is excited to introduce Aaron to, she said at the time: “My friends. He will love my friends. My friends are so fun!
“I can’t wait for him to meet all of them. I’ve got quite a close group of friends but they are all going to literally love him. And then obviously my mum and stuff, they’ll like him.”
Mary admitted she and Aaron were “definitely going to give it a go” after leaving the villa.
She said: “It’s still proper early days for us. Even though it’s only been 10 days it feels like we’ve been seeing each other for months.
“We said we’re definitely going to give it a go on the outside.
“Obviously everything changes when you get out so we said we’re just going to cross each bridge as it comes to it.
“We’re definitely going to see each other on the outside.”

Ana de Armas breaks down in tears as Blonde gets 14-minute standing ovation

OHMYGOSSIP — Ana de Armas broke down in tears after her film ‘Blonde’ received a 14-minute standing ovation following its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy.
The ‘No Time to Die’ star plays late movie icon Marilyn Monroe in the new movie about her life and it was screened for the first time at the festival on Thursday (08.09.22) and received a rapturous response from the audience who applauded for more than 10 minutes as the film’s star wept.
According to Variety.com, Ana’s co-star Adrien Brody – who plays Marilyn’s third husband Arthur Miller – also shed a few tears as the cinema erupted in applause.
Ana spent nine months working with a voice coach in a bid to perfect Marilyn’s accent, and she recently told The Times it was a tiring process.
She said: “It took me nine months of dialect coaching, and practicing and some ADR sessions [to get the accent right]. It was a big torture, so exhausting. My brain was fried.”
After the trailer for the new movie was released, there was some criticism of Ana’s accent online and the actress spoke out to defend her performance.
The actress – who only learned to speak English in 2015, said: ” I feel like whether you’re a Cuban or an American actress, anyone should feel the pressure. My job wasn’t to imitate her. I was interested in her feelings, her journey, her insecurities, and her voice, in the sense that she didn’t really have one.”
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates and is due for release on September 28.

Cynthia Erivo welcomes Wicked split

OHMYGOSSIP — Cynthia Erivo thinks it is “exciting” that ‘Wicked’ will be split into two parts.
The 35-year-old actress will portray Elphaba in the big screen adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical and though she didn’t know it would be two separate movies – which will be released in December 2024 and December 2025 – when she signed up, she’s happy with director Jon M. Chu’s decision because it gives “more room” to tell the tale properly.
She said: “I was like, ‘Well alright then, I guess we’ve got our work set ahead of us.’ It’s full on.
“And kind of exciting, because it means that we have more of the story to tell — more room, more real estate to tell these two stories.”
Cynthia has particularly enjoyed working with her co-star Ariana Grande, who will play Glinda.
She gushed to Variety: “I love her, truly. She is funny and unbelievably talented and unbelievably sweet and truly working hard. We’re both working really hard together. I’m excited for both of us.”
Jon announced in April that the ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel would be split into two because he was concerned about doing “real damage” to the production if he cut it too heavily.
He said in a statement at the time: “As we prepared the production over the last year, it became impossible to wrestle the story of ‘Wicked’ into a single film without doing some real damage to it.
“As we tried to cut songs or trim characters, those decisions began to feel like fatal compromises to the source material that has entertained us all for so many years.
“We decided to give ourselves a bigger canvas and make not just one ‘Wicked’ movie but two! With more space, we can tell the story of ‘Wicked’ as it was meant to be told while bringing even more depth and surprise to the journeys for these beloved characters.”

The 33-year-old actor plays the musician in the biopic ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’ and recalled how Yankovic taught him how to play the instrument in preparation for the part.

“He gave me some accordion lessons, which is something that I can take to my grave that I had that moment. I don’t need anything else.”
Daniel does not expect audiences to take “a moral” from the film but hopes the spoof helps people delve into their own “weirdness”.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star said: “This is not a movie that we expect you to sit down and take a moral from the story.
“But if there’s something to it, it’s about leaning into your own weirdness and that being a way of finding your own happiness.”
Radcliffe continued: “(Yankovic) is so authentically himself and that has led to this wonderful film, as well as his incredible career.”
Evan Rachel Wood portrays pop icon Madonna in the film but doubts the singer will react to the movie.

Ruth Wilson ‘wanted to have some fun’ filming See How They Run

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Wilson joined the cast of ‘See How They Run’ because she “wanted to have some fun” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 40-year-old actress jumped at the chance to star in the mystery comedy film – which also stars Saoirse Ronan, Sam Rockwell and Adrien Brody – because she wanted to enjoy herself during the health crisis.
Asked what drew her to the project, Ruth replied: “It was right in the middle of COVID. It was January 2021 and I was like, ‘We want to have some fun’. I wanted to have some fun. And I wanted to play with all of these wonderful actors.”
Ruth believes that the new mystery film is “particularly fun”.
Asked why the genre is so popular with fans, she told HeyUGuys: “We love to solve a mystery, and we love watching other people trying to solve a mystery. So … I think this one is particularly fun and that’s why I think people love it, too.”
Meanwhile, Ruth recently revealed that she was grateful to work with an intimacy coach on ‘True Things’.
The actress and her co-star Tom Burke were both delighted to work with Ita O’Brien.
Ruth shared: “She was brilliant.
“I’m really hoping it results in more interesting sex scenes on our screens because there’s a dialogue now and there wasn’t one before. Having an intimacy coach now means the discussion can happen in a pragmatic, practical, rational way.”
The film is based on the 2011 novel ‘True Things about Me’ by Deborah Kay Davies. And Ruth first became aware of the story after Jude Law recommended it to her.
She said: “I read it and loved it. I felt that, at the time, there hadn’t been, many stories from that subjective female perspective on this kind of moment in a relationship.
“It felt like such rich territory to investigate because we’ve all had those relationships, almost a rite of passage-type relationship, where you obsess over someone that’s completely wrong for you.”

Darius Campbell Danesh’s cause of death revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Darius Campbell Danesh’s cause of death has been revealed.
The 41-year-old singer and actor died after inhaling chloroethane – also known as ethyl chloride – which is an anaesthetic that can be used recreationally, with “suffocation” also contributing to his demise.
His death has been ruled an accident by the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office
Danesh was found dead at his home in the Berkman apartment building, opposite the Mayo Clinic specialist treatment facility on August 11.
A statement previously released by his family said local police had found “no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances”.
Meanwhile, Darius was laid to rest in his hometown of Bearsden, Glasgow, at the end of August, with his close friend Gerard Butler among the mourners.
Gerard paid a lengthy tribute to his “dear friend” following his shock death.
The ‘300’ star wrote on Instagram: “I am devastated by the sudden passing of my dear friend Darius, a true brother in arms. My thoughts and love go to his wonderful mum and dad Avril and Booth and his two brilliant brothers Aria and Cyrus.
“To those lucky enough to have met Darius for more than a few minutes, they were deeply moved by his infectious laugh and barely containable zest for life. He was always armed with a smile, a booming voice, and a genuinely warm embrace that few could resist-nor would they want to!!! He was an incredible talent, a singer whose voice touched your soul and an actor with great presence. But, most importantly, he had the heart of a lion. It was bigger and brighter than the sun and an energy so contagious he could light up a room in seconds.
“Our boy Darius was always constant and unwavering in his passion for life. But a bigger constant was his dream to inspire others to better themselves. He talked the talk but boy, did he walk the walk. He had such purity of thought, a deep wisdom and constant gratitude for people, for life, a compassion towards all. His hilarious self-deprecating sense of humor (he was funny as s***) allowed him to stay humble – something he valued deeply. Darius’ undying commitment to being of service to individuals- his family, his friends (none more so than me) and to the world at large made him the perfect friend- He led by example but he was also a teacher, as he pushed those he loved to be the best possible versions of themselves. Taylor Swift: ‘It would be a privilege to direct a movie’

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift says it would be a “privilege” to direct a feature film.
The 32-year-old singer/songwriter – who screened her short ‘All Too Well’ at the Toronto Film Festival – admitted she aspires to direct a movie but said it would have to be a special project.
During an In Conversation With… appearance at the festival, she said: “If it were the right thing, it would be such a privilege…
“I will always want to tell human stories about human emotion.”
Referring to female directors she admires, including Nora Ephron, Chloe Zhao and Greta Gerwig, she said: “It’s really beautiful that we’re in a place where the idea of a female filmmaker doesn’t make you roll your eyes or think as skeptically as it once was.”
And, Taylor revealed that she learned about directing from her own music videos.
She explained: “I didn’t go to film school. I’ve been on the set of around 60 music videos and I’ve learned a lot from that process. But when I did it on my own [with her first music video for ‘The Man’], I really began to learn everything, because you have to.
“It was always a part of the process, establishing visuals. The more responsibility I took on, the happier I was.”
Taylor was at TIFF to screen her short film ‘All Too Well’, which stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien as a couple falling in love and then breaking up.
She said: “You can tell a lot about people based on how they fight. She feels out of place and he feels unequipped to handle that.”

Sean Wilson won’t return to Coronation Street

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean Wilson will never return to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 57-year-old actor – who played Martin Platt in the ITV soap from 1985 to 2005 – quit the show over a storyline which involved his character Martin Platt seducing an underage girl and insists he will never go back.
He told The Sun: “I didn’t want to do [the storyline] and suggested they could bring in another actor, but the producer was insistent.
“It wasn’t for me, so I told them, ‘No, I will not be doing that storyline and I suggest that maybe you go and have a rethink.’
“They came back a couple of weeks later and said, ‘No, we do feel that this storyline is going to go ahead.’
“So I said, ‘Well that means I will be leaving the show’.
“Then they decided to unilaterally tell the country that I was sacked, which wasn’t the case, and it was frustrating.
“I think with the individuals involved at the time, it wasn’t surprising that it entered the playground.
“I don’t think there will be a comeback.
“They sent my character to New Zealand, I think they were trying to tell me something.”
Although he briefly returned to the soap in 2018, Sean is now happily working as a cheesemaker, but he hasn’t ruled out a return to acting.
He said: “I still want to act. I just think for casting people the fact that I was in Coronation Street so long is a bit of a stumbling block.
“So, I’ve made this situation where I don’t have to do it. I would still like to though – it’s one of my three loves in life: art, acting and cooking.”
