Anton Danyluk lost 100k on Dubai business deal

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Anton Danyluk claims he he lost £100,000 in Dubai.
The 30-year-old fitness influencer – who appeared on season five of ‘Love Island’ in 2019 – said he made the “biggest mistake” of his life when he invested in a gym nightclub concept in Dubai.
Speaking on Instagram, he explained: “I lost £100,000 in Dubai. Shortly after COVID, I got invited on an influencer trip to Dubai.
“As soon as I got there I absolutely fell in love with the place and I never came home.
” bought myself a Bentley and an apartment on the Palm. I was absolutely living the dream. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.
“I invested £100,000 into a gym concept that was going to be a nightclub gym. Everything that we did went wrong.
“It took us over a year to launch with us putting loads of money into this concept. On top of that, the day of launch the place flooded.
“Myself and my business partner had massive disagreements and it was just an absolute flop.’
“It was the first time in my life that I’d made a bad business decision and it cost me massively. It sent me into a downward spiral and really put me into a bad place.”
Anton also revealed he “slept with a different girl every night” after ‘Love Island’.
He said: “‘Love Island’ completely changed me. Coming off the show I had my personal appearance tour which saw me in nightclubs night after night making a lot of money to be there.
“On top of this, I was sleeping with different women every single night. I became that cocky person again and I was seeking external validation.”

Matt di Angelo to leave EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt di Angelo is leaving ‘EastEnders’.
After his alter-ego Dean Wicks was wrongly arrested and put on trial for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), Matt’s time on the soap is set to come to an end again.
A message on the ‘EastEnders’ Instagram page said: “Farewell to the marvellous Matt Di Angelo AKA devious Dean Wicks. From all the cast and crew at #EastEnders… thank you, you’ll be missed!”
And, in an accompanying video, ‘EastEnders’ Executive producer Chris Clenshaw said: “I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Matt for giving us one of the most vile characters, one of the most hated characters in Britain and on British TV. Thank you for coming back and playing out this next chapter of Dean’s story.”
Matt, 37, told his colleagues: “I really, really appreciate all your work. They’re long days and you’re a class bunch, you really are. So, thank you for helping me and I appreciate it. Thanks very much.”
He added: “It is done. He is no more. “Good riddance!”, you all say.
“He’s fun to play and this is an amazing place to work and I do genuinely love everyone here. Thank you for having me and until the next time?! Bye!”
Matt – whose alter-ego previously raped Linda Carter – admitted he was “surprised” by the outcome of the trial.
He told The Mirror: “There’s going to be a trial and I think the outcome of trial surprised me and it wasn’t what I was expecting at all. So hopefully that makes good TV!”
Linda, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) make up the six who were there on the night Keanu tried to strangle Sharon before Linda stabbed him at The Queen Vic.
Kellie, whose character is an alcoholic, previously said of keeping the secret: “She has to. If Linda falls, all of the other women fall with her. I honestly don’t think that Linda will ever truly find peace for killing Keanu whilst it remains a secret, but I think the guilt of taking the other women down with her would be too much for Linda to bear. She’s also very aware that her children have already lost one parent, and she doesn’t want them to lose another. Linda has to try and remain strong but as you’ll see this week, her drinking threatens to jeopardise it all.”

Ron Howard filming disrupted by snakes

OHMYGOSSIP — Ron Howard had to pause ‘Eden’ filming to “transport” snakes off the set.
The 70-year-old director hired animal experts to look for the reptiles while shooting his latest movie – which is based on a true story and follows three parties who flee post-World War I civilisation to start again on the Galapagos Islands – and occasionally had to stop work in order to get the reptiles moved away from where they were shooting so none of the cast or crew came to any harm.
He told Deadline: “We had to deal with animals. We had snake wranglers. And hour before we shot, they came and started looking for the poisonous snakes. And they kept looking all day long and they found a lot of them.
“Sometimes we’d have to stop if they were too close, before they could catch them and very humanely transport them to a safe place. But we were shooting in Queensland, in areas where it’s pretty infested with poisonous insects and snakes.”
Stars Jude Law and Vanessa Kirby were keen to sleep on the set but were not allowed because of the creatures dwelling there.
Ron added: “Jude Law and Vanessa Kirby were so dedicated…. They wanted to actually live where the Ritters lived, on that set.
“And the only problem is that when the company left, the Creatures of the Night would move in, and there was no way we could allow them to be there on their own. I had to talk them off of that one.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘Happy Days’ actor explained it is important for him to be “changeable” in his work.
He said: “I want to be changeable, always. If you look at my filmography, the one thing that you could say is, well, here’s somebody who didn’t want to do the same thing over and over again.
“Maybe I had done that as an actor on a TV series, but for me, it’s also my nature.
“These filmmaking experiences, they get me out of the house. They get me into the world. I
“’m not necessarily a person who would be hiking, climbing, diving, going weightless, without these movies, nor would I be necessarily learning as much as I learned by making them. And again, also this extension into the documentaries, which I found I really, really love.”

Dave Bautista wants to work with Guardians of the Galaxy co-stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista “really wants” to work with his ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ co-stars again.
The 55-year-old wrestler-turned-actor – who played Drax the Destroyer in all three movies in the series, as well as in other MCU films – previously worked outside of the franchise with Karen Gillan on ‘Stuber’ and appears alongside Pom Klementieff in latest movie ‘The Killer’s Game’ and is keen to look for other projects with his former castmates.
He told ComicBook.com about the possibility: “I hope so, yeah. That’s kind of my goal. I really want, because I’ve done another project outside of Guardians with Karen Gillan, and I’ve done work with Pom now.
“I would like to work with Chris [Pratt] and Zoe [Saldana] outside of the Marvel Universe, as well.”
With ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ director James Gunn now at the helm of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran, Dave admitted he would “of course” consider a role in one of the filmmaker’s new comic book films.
He said: “As I’ve said, and I’ve been very open to that. I guess it just has to be the right part. But I’m very open to it, and I love James and I would do anything to work with him.”
Dave’s latest comments come after he recently admitted his “dream role” was always supervillain Bane, but once he felt he was too old for the part, he’d jump at the chance to play Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor.
When ScreenRant asked the actor which DC characters he’d be open to portraying, he said: “For forever, it was Bane. When I was younger, I wanted to play Bane; it was like a dream role for me. And I got to a point in my career where I just felt like I was just too old to play Bane. I think the physicality of it, at this point in my career and my life, I just wouldn’t be able to do the character justice.
“And then I saw somewhere online that someone posted something of me playing Lex Luthor; an older Lex Luthor. I kind of became obsessed with that idea.”
Sadly for the star , DC boss James opted to cast ‘X-Men’ star Nicholas Hoult as the villain in ‘Superman’, but the actor has emphasised he’s still interested in joining the superhero cinematic universe.
He continued: “Obviously, they moved on from that idea, so at this point, I’m struggling to find my place in the DC universe. But I’d really be up for anything.”

Doug Liman’s first dream was to make ‘big, mindless’ movies

OHMYGOSSIP — Doug Liman’s first ambition was to make “big, mindless entertainment”.
The ‘Road House’ filmmaker always knew he wanted to work on blockbuster action movies but it was only when he got the green light to do that with ‘The Bourne Identity’ that he discovered he was actually more interested in characters.
He told Empire magazine: “I always wanted to make action movies since I was a kid.
“I remember watching the first ‘Superman’ up on a big screen in Times Square when I was probably six or something. I was like, ‘I want to make movies like that.’
“But you don’t get to start making movies like that so I made ‘Swingers’ and thought it was going to be a resume film for me. I never even thought anyone would see it, and it became a little indie darling.
“It opened more doors for me and then I made ‘Go’, but that was still a little indie movie.
“But I had gotten the rights to the ‘Bourne Identity’ book after ‘Swingers’ and I’d shopped it around because people were like, ‘Love ‘Swingers’, what do you want to do next?’ I was like, ‘I want to do ‘The Bourne Identity’. And Universal said OK.
“As a young filmmaker, I wanted to make big, mindless entertainment. And when I started making ‘The Bourne Identity’, I realised that I’m actually interested in the characters.
“I never would have thought that. I’m not interested in just making a dumb spy movie.”
And Doug thinks his latest movie, ‘The Instigators’, reflects his changed ambitions.
He said: “When you look at ‘The Instigators’ all these years later, that car chase [scene] is indicative of who I’ve turned out to be.
“I love the action of the car chase and to have all the fun of shooting it, but I’m more interested in the three characters that are inside the car.”

Nick Knowles doesn’t fear Strictly Come Dancing curse – because he’s tired

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles is too tired to be hit by the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ “curse”.
The 61-year-old presenter insisted fiancee Katie Dadzie, 34, doesn’t need to worry about him finding romance with his dance partner on the show because the gruelling training sessions have left him too exhausted to think about anything else.
He told reporters: “I barely have the energy to walk out to the car afterwards. The Strictly curse isn’t an issue.
“I did a day’s training yesterday, and I literally crawled out to the car and sat with my feet in a bath of cold water for an hour when I got home.”
The ‘DIY SOS’ star has shed almost two stone in preparation for the show.
He said: “I changed my diet. That helped a lot.
“I’ve done about six weeks of training to get fit enough to start dancing.
“That’s the main thing — to be fit enough to be able to do it — because it is unbelievably horrible.”
The father-of-four struggled to get the hang of the moves when he started group sessions with the other celebrity contestants but he’s now enjoying himself, even though the programme is always on his mind.
He said: “The first day of training I didn’t have a good time as I was concentrating on doing it right.
“I had to have a word with myself overnight and come back with a better attitude and start to enjoy myself a bit more.
“The first thing I’ve got to do is try not to look like the honey monster.
“All my brain power is focused, because you don’t really have time for anything outside of this.
“It’s all-encompassing for me and the family, as you do such long hours.
“Doing this show is all-encompassing for me and the family, you do such long hours. “You don’t really have time for anything outside of this and even when you get away from it, you’re trying to eat right. You can’t shut your brain off.”

Tasha Ghouri ‘manifested’ Strictly appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Tasha Ghouri “manifested” her spot on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 26-year-old star – who shot to fame when she appeared on ‘Love Island’ in 2022 – admitted she’s always wanted to take part in the competition and “broke down” when she found out she’d landed her spot on the show.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I am very excited.
“I broke down when my management told me. I actually cried, I didn’t believe it at first. I said: ‘No, you’re pranking me!’ I was sitting next to Andrew [Le Page, boyfriend] in the living room with our dog Luna on the sofa.
“It was the perfect moment to find out. I was just so happy and speechless.
“It is definitely something I’ve dreamed of, so to actually be doing it is mind-blowing. I feel like it’s not fully kicked in yet.
Explaining how she often used the notes app in her phone to write, “I will be on Strictly Come Dancing in 2024 or 2025″, she added: “I’ve been [writing the notes] since February 2023 as a manifestation, and it must have worked!”
And despite the recent allegations of bullying and abusive behaviour by the professional dancers on the show, Tasha – who previously dated Giovanni Pernice – isn’t worried.
She said: “I wasn’t there – I’m here for my own experience on the show. So I’m focusing on myself to just really enjoy it.”
Tasha was born unable to hear and had a cochlear implant fitted when she was five, and has been getting tips from 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who was the show’s first deaf contestant.
She said: “Rose reached out with some great advice, which I was really appreciative of,” she explains.
“As a Glitterball winner, her support gave me a huge confidence boost. Even though our hearing experiences differ, she totally gets where I might face challenges and shared some valuable tips.
“I watched Rose and she was absolutely incredible on the show. She inspired me to put myself out there and go on Love Island.
“I will always be massively thankful to Rose, because she really opened the door for me, for all of us.
“So, hopefully, I do well on the show, follow in her footsteps and make people in the deaf community proud as well.”

Rory Reid feared Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness were too inexperienced for Top Gear

OHMYGOSSIP — Rory Reid feared things on ‘Top Gear’ “wouldn’t end well” when Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness were hired.
The 44-year-old star – who was a co-host on the show from 2016 to 2019 – thought it was “exciting” when the cricketer and the ‘Take Me Out’ host were unveiled as the new main presenters of the programme but was also concerned about their lack of driving experience.
He told Times Radio: “Absolutely instantly, it was the first thing I thought other than this is an exciting development for the show and I’m interested to see how this turns out.
“The first thing I thought was these men, who I’ve been lucky enough to watch on their entertainment journeys and sports journeys, who are fabulous at what they do, I don’t think they have the driving experience to the level where they would be able to do some of the things the BBC asked me to do.”
Rory insisted it “wasn’t for [him] to say” if the BBC gave them extra tuition and care away from filming to make the stars “comfortable and safe” because he wasn’t there.
But he added: “But based on my experience, if you asked me whether putting someone without that level of driving experience in those situations and whether it would end well…? No.”
The motoring expert had asked for extra training himself to be “better equipped” on the show.
He said: “I was actually the one who asked them to give me extra training.
“I think in my second series, I said, ‘listen, can you give me some extra tuition on the specific stunts that you asked us to do during this show?’. And eventually, they gave me a couple of hours with a stunt driver to practise some of the manoeuvres that they occasionally ask us to do.
“But no, there’s no driving lesson when you join the show, they don’t sit you down and give you a five-day course in high-performance driving, they expect you to be able to do what they ask you to do.”
In December 2022, Freddie was left with permanent scarring and trauma following an accident during filming, and the show hasn’t aired since.

Paul Merson hopes to inspire on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Merson hopes to become a source of inspiration through his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ experience.
The 56-year-old former sports star has signed up for the new series of the BBC show, and Paul – who has battled addictions to alcohol, drugs and gambling – hopes to become an inspiration for TV viewers.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he explained: “Being an addict and a recovering alcoholic myself … to show people watching this show who have got addictions, that you can go out and do something like this … is so important. Because addiction takes you away from everything. That’s all it ever does. It wants you on your own.
“Now I’m going in front of millions of people doing something I’m not very good at. I used to think, ‘I can’t do things like that’ but now I’ve got the opportunity to try.”
Paul has admitted to being out of his ” comfort zone” on the TV show.
The former Arsenal star has also confessed to being impressed by his ‘Strictly’ co-stars.
Paul – who has been married three times – shared: “I’ve danced three times in my life and they were all at my wedding.
“I’m so far out of my comfort zone. But it’s good.
“When I got to training yesterday a group of the celebs were already doing their dancing and I was blown away. I just thought everybody was going to be s***. Honestly I’d never seen anything like it. It was very impressive.”
What’s more, Paul admitted that he’s never even watched the hit TV show.
He said: “I’ve never seen it, because it’s on when football is on and my job.
“To go there today and see it all, I just can’t believe how big the show is. From the outside looking in, I honestly did not realise how big it was. This is like … I’ve played in cup finals and in front of thousands and it’s not like this.”

Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Hollyoaks’ star Ali Bastian has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
The 42-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Becca Dean in the Channel 4 soap from 2001 to 2007 – has admitted she was left in “total shock” when she found out the devastating news at the end of June.
Ali – who now lives in Ireland with her husband and two young daughters – is currently having chemotherapy before she undergoes a mastectomy and radiotherapy.
She told OK!: “It was a total shock.
“I have mornings when I wake up and I’ve forgotten… and then suddenly I remember. I’m still trying to process it.”
Ali was breastfeeding her and husband David O’Mahony’s youngest daughter Isabella, 19 months, when she came across a lump.
The mother-of-two – who also has Isla, four, with her spouse – shared: “I hadn’t been breastfeeding Izzy at night but then David flew back to London for work and suddenly she was feeding like crazy. I was thinking, ‘Maybe she’s having a growth spurt or something.’ And because of that, my boobs felt sore. The next morning, I woke up and thought, ‘Ouch, this really hurts.’ And that’s when I felt a lump.”
Ali assumed she had a “blocked duct” and was given a course of antibiotics, but it wasn’t clearing up, so on her doctor’s advice, she headed to a breast clinic.
She continued: “It was a bank holiday in Ireland, so I went straight to the emergency doctor.
“It really seemed like I had mastitis, especially as I had been night-weaning Izzy before that. We thought I probably had a blocked duct. The doctor gave me antibiotics and said that if it didn’t clear up in a few days I should go to the breast clinic.
“But it wasn’t clearing up and the more I felt it, the more it felt like this wasn’t just a blocked duct. I went to my GP and I said, ‘Actually, can I go to the clinic now?’ and she was very supportive of that.”
Ali received the shock news via telephone but was reassured that they said they have “intent to cure” her.
Explaining that the clinic was too far to go for the diagnosis, she said: “We agreed that I would text her and that she would then call me back. I could hear it in the tone of her voice, but she told me in the kindest way possible. She was very reassuring. She said the words that I’m holding on to, that they have ‘intent to cure me.’”
The doctors are convinced her cancer is “hormone-driven” and are doing more research to establish if it’s genetic, however, her maternal aunt and grandmother also had breast cancer.
She is set to undergo a single mastectomy and is still waiting to hear if doing double is a good idea as a “preventative measure”.
The former ‘Doctors’ actress is also being seen by a psychologist who specialises in oncology and has been given a mentor who has had cancer.
Ali has vowed to beat the disease and has every intention of returning to acting.
She added: “I will get through this and come out the other side.
“After my diagnosis, I went on Instagram and saw a post by my friend Dominic Power, my former co-star in The Bill, and I could see he was on set in Hollyoaks. I suddenly had a real pang of, ‘I want to look into an actor’s eyes and do a scene.’
“I really miss it.”

Pamela Anderson: I had to star in The Last Showgirl

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson felt she “had to” star in ‘The Last Showgirl’.
The 57-year-old actress plays a Las Vegas showgirl in the new Gia Coppola-directed drama film, and Pamela has admitted that she relished the opportunity to star in the movie at this stage of her career.
The actress – who has released a documentary and a best-selling memoir in recent years – told Collider: “I think timing is everything. I thought I was never gonna get the chance to do anything like this.
“I kind of thought, ‘Oh, well, that’s what people think of me. I’m just gonna go back to my farm, make jam, and that’s it. I’ll figure out another way to make my life beautiful.’
“But the documentary came out, the book came out, and Gia saw the documentary. She must be some kind of master or prophet or something, but she was so wonderful to send the script to me, and I read it and I was like, ‘Oh god, this is that thing. This is that thing when people read a script and they really realise they’re the only ones that can do it. They have to do it. It’s life and death.’ And I felt that way, and I get chills even thinking about it.”
Pamela didn’t have any hesitations about committing herself to the project, admitting that she felt “grateful” to have been given the opportunity.
The former ‘Baywatch’ actress – who stars in the movie alongside the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, and Billie Lourd – said: “I knew I had to do it. And so I’m just so grateful.”

Kristen Stewart was born to be a director, says Imogen Poots

OHMYGOSSIP — Imogen Poots has hailed Kristen Stewart as “one of the greatest directors” she’s ever worked with.
The 34-year-old actress is making her directorial debut with ‘The Chronology of Water’ – which is an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir of the same name – and Imogen has revealed that she’s relished the experience of working with the Hollywood star.
The 35-year-old actress – who stars in the new movie – told Collider: “She’s really something. She was born to do it. I’m so proud of her.”
Imogen and Kristen are both “incredibly passionate about the project”.
The actress actually likened them both to “sports coaches” when they’re on set.
Imogen explained: “We’d like shout at each other on set like sports coaches. We were both incredibly passionate about the project and had the same energy around it and the stakes were very high for both of us all the time.”
‘The Chronology of Water’ explores themes such as addiction and self-destruction.
Kristen has been forced to overcome various obstacles to get the project off the ground – but she’s always been committed to the idea.
Imogen shared: “She has just cared about this for so long, and she did it.
“I think it was so hard to get it made because the subject matter and I think at several moments along the way, anyone would think ‘Is this even worth it?’ She kept going. She found the right financiers for the project.
“We didn’t have to censor any of the story because that would have been pointless. She’s done it her way and it’s the only way. I think she’s punk-rock and authentic, and she’s my favourite girl. I think she’s amazing.”

Josie Gibson’s son hates her fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Josie Gibson’s five-year-old son isn’t a fan of her fame.
The 39-year-old TV star – who won ‘Big Brother’ back in 2010 – has revealed that her son Reggie hates it when she’s stopped in the street and asked for photographs by fans.
Josie – who also starred on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2023 – told Reach: “He’s a funny little thing, he can’t stand it when people ask for photos.”
Josie loves talking to members of the public – but her son has the opposite reaction.
She shared: “He goes, ‘Mum, you always stop and talk to everybody, it’s doing my head in! We are going to be late. We are late for everywhere we’ve got to go to!’
“Obviously it takes me a while to get there, [he goes], ‘Mum, please just don’t stop and talk, I’m sick of the photos’. But, I like talking to people.”
Josie subsequently suggested that Reggie is unlikely to follow in her footsteps in the TV industry.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter said: “You know you get those kids that love the camera and love their photo being taken?
“He does say, ‘Mum, take a picture of me like this, or take a picture of me like that’, but he doesn’t really love the camera.”
Despite this, Josie thinks Reggie could still enjoy a successful career working behind the camera, observing that it would allow him to “travel the world”.
The TV star said: “If I could choose any career for him, it would be a camera man, not in front of the camera.
“A camera man definitely. You get your job right as a camera man, and you can travel the world!”

Peter Andre issues warning to Strictly Come Dancing contestants

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre has warned the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants that their time on the show will be hard.
The 51-year-old pop star took part in the BBC Latin and ballroom show in 2015 and was eliminated just weeks before the final but as the likes of ‘Love Island’ star Tasha Ghouri, former ‘Coronation Street’ actor Shayne Ward and singer Toyah Willcox prepare to hit the dance floor, has admitted that it is not an “easy” thing to do.
Writing in his OK! Magazine column, he said: “Strictly Come Dancing is back this week and, having done the show, the one thing I’ll say to the contestants is, ‘It’s not easy – you have to work your butt off!’ The judges are all professional dancers, so they’re watching every move you make on stage. You’re learning a real skill.”
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker revealed that he is “rooting” for JLs singer JB Gill and presenter Nick Knowles and that he currently lives in the house once owned by the man who wrote the programme’s theme song.
He said: “I’m rooting for Nick Knowles and JB Gill, just because I know them more, but everyone will be amazing. The man who owned my house before me was the person who wrote the theme tune. He told me the exact spot where he wrote it – which is in my garden. I couldn’t believe it.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant- who is married to Emily Macdomagh, 35, and as Millie, 10, Theo, seven, and three-month-old Arabella with her – revealed that there are plans for himself and Emily to host their own podcast.
Pete – who also has Junior, 19, and 17-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price- wrote: “Emily and I have spoken about doing our own podcast but we want to try something different so watch his space. Strictly Come Dancing chaperones ‘are sat away in a corner’

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ chaperones are “sat away in a corner”, according to Shayne Ward.
The 39-year-old actor is set to compete on the long-running TV show, and Shayne has explained what it’s like to work alongside the chaperones, who were hired amid the ongoing abuse allegations that have overshadowed ‘Strictly’ in recent months.
Shayne told MailOnline: “You can’t see them, but they’re there. If you ever need them, just call and they’re there.
“If you need that duty of care or if you feel like you need anything, something on your mind or worried about anything, or just have a chat, they’re there.”
The pop star noted that while the chaperones are always present, they’re not always visible.
Shayne – who won the second series of ‘The X Factor’ back in 2005 – explained: “They’re not on your shoulder, [they’re] just sat away in a corner.”
The BBC announced plans to hire chaperones earlier this year, and Kate Phillips, the BBC’s Director of Unscripted, promised at the time that the corporation would take any allegations very seriously.
She said in a statement: “Whilst we know our shows have been positive experiences for the vast majority of those who have taken part, if issues are raised with us, or we’re made aware of inappropriate behaviour, we will always take that seriously and act.”
Kate noted that the allegations “fundamentally related to training and rehearsals”.
However, she hoped that the issue would be addressed by introducing a new range of measures.
She said: “Concerns that have arisen have been fundamentally related to training and rehearsals. The decisive steps we have taken and are announced today, act to further strengthen the welfare and support in place for everyone involved with this production.”

TOWIE star Bobby Norris reveals why he signed up for Celeb SAS

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobby Norris wants to “tackle his fears” with ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The 38-year-old reality star -who is best known for appearing on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ and arguing with co-star Gemma Collins – is one of a string of famous faces to have signed up for the next series of the military-style challenge show and admitted that he accepted the offer after realising that he had been “controlled” by his own phobias for too long.
He told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “I’ve got so many fears and phobias, and I’ve let them control my life for so long.
“So I decided that if I could try and even tackle one of them, I’d be happy.
“This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The former ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star will appear alongside the likes of model Bianca Gascoigne, wrestler Anthony Ogogo, and Pete Wicks on the series.
But Bobby’s fellow ‘TOWIE’ star Pete, 36, was recently said to have caused a stir with Channel 4 bosses after he signed up to appear in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for the BBC.
Industry insiders have claimed Channel 4 higher-ups are “fuming” over Pete’s decision to join ‘Strictly’, because it will shift focus away from his planned “redemption arc” on ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ (‘SAS: WDW’).
A source said: “Channel 4 were fuming when Pete was revealed as part of this year’s ‘Strictly’ cast.
