OHMYGOSSIP — AJ Pritchard dumped Abbie Quinnen after she caught him texting another woman.
The ‘Celebrity SAS’ star has left the 25-year-old beauty “completely devastated” as she claimed they had been talking about marriage just days before he announced “out of the blue” that he didn’t love her and their four-year romance was over.
Abbie – who was left badly burned when a YouTube stunt went wrong in January 2021 – told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I’m completely devastated and my world has fallen apart.
“AJ isn’t the person I thought he was. After everything I went through with him I thought we would be together for ever. He has been the biggest disappointment to me.”
Abbie insisted everything was normal until he flew out to South America for ‘The Challenge’ last month, on which he appears with rumoured new lover Zara Zoffany.
She said: “We’ve always been madly in love. We spent every moment together possible. We had so many plans.
“We were talking about getting engaged next year, looking at buying houses, how many children we wanted, which schools they’d go to.
“That’s why when it happened it came completely out of the blue.
“AJ was nervous about going away to film as he wasn’t able to prepare for it as much as other ones he had done like I’m A Celebrity and Celebrity SAS.
“Before he left we had a really emotional goodbye. We hugged for hours and shed tears.
“I knew we weren’t going to see each other for three weeks so I went on holiday with my family.
“At first we were FaceTiming every day, like normal, then he had the phone taken away from him to do the TV show….
“When he eventually got his phone back he seemed different. He wasn’t calling as much and seemed distracted.”
It was then Abbie noticed he was messaging someone else, who she wouldn’t name, and was horrified with his “cold” response when she called him out.
She continued: “Then I noticed he was on his phone quite a bit and that he was messaging a girl who had been on the show with him.
“I only caught a glimpse of the message but it was along the lines of, ‘I need to talk to you, can we meet tomorrow?’
“I just questioned him asking, ‘Why are you messaging her?’ and from that moment on he was completely cold with me. It was so odd, he couldn’t give me any answers.
“He kept saying he didn’t have a clear brain, he couldn’t make any decisions and didn’t know if he wanted to be with me any more.
“I thought we were madly in love and in the space of a few hours he was messaging someone else and my world was turned upside down.
“I couldn’t believe it as we have so many plans. I was shaking and crying and he went grey.”
Abbie moved into the spare room before she and AJ both went to stay with their parents, and they then met for a heart-to-heart.
She recalled: “He was completely emotionless and ended everything. He told me he no longer loved me and didn’t want to be with me any more.
“After ­everything we had been through together as a couple I thought that he would at least be upset that we were parting.
“He was acting as if I was a stranger. It was so hurtful and it broke my heart how cold he was. I was baffled and still am.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Saira Khan claims she left ‘Loose Women’ because producers wanted her to join OnlyFans.
The 52-year-old star quit the progamme last year and has now revealed the “shocking” request for her to join the adults-only platform to go “undercover” was the final straw for her because it left her feeling “humiliated and angry”.
She said: “The straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of the young producers was sent running after me to ask whether I would be prepared to open an OnlyFans account.
“To say I was shocked was an understatement. I could see she herself was mortified to ask me. I replied, ‘You’re asking an Asian woman who has a husband and kids and comes from a Muslim family to open an OnlyFans account?’
“She said, ‘It’s just on your social media you’ve been posting images in your underwear and we thought if you could go undercover to see the kind of response you get from men, it would make a great story’.
“There and then, I knew my time was up on the show. I felt humiliated, angry, disappointed and like fodder.”
Saira was also upset when asked to pose for a mould of her vagina along with other members of the panel and production team as part of an art project.
She claimed she was repeatedly pressured to pose, despite saying she felt uncomfortable.
She added in a column for the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “They just saw me as PR fodder with no respect for my background or culture,” she said.
The former ‘Apprentice’ contestant – who claimed an underwear photo of her was used in another campaign without her approval – felt she needed to quit for the sake of her mental health because the culture of the show encouraged arguments among the presenters and left her a “b**** person I don’t want to be.
She said: “I love TV presenting, but I knew that for the sake of my mental health and my family, I just could not carry on in such toxic working conditions…
I started to realise they just wanted me to tick the box of ‘gobby Muslim woman’.”
A spokesperson for the show “strongly refuted” Saira’s claims.
The representative said: “We strongly refute all of these claims. Duty of care is of paramount importance for all of our panellists. Saira left the panel almost two years ago and we wish her well.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Richie Anderson has been eliminated from ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’
The 34-year-old radio host had been taking part in the BBC Latin and ballroom competition with professional partner Giovanni Pernice but became the latest celebrity to face the chop on Sunday (09.10.22) after losing out to Fleur East and Vito Coppola in the dance-off.
After judges Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood all voted in favour of the former ‘X Factor’ star and her partner, Richie told host Tess Daly: “Do you know what as a ‘Strictly’ fan I always thought it was a magical thing to be a part of, and being here it really is and it’s not just the people that you see on camera, the judges, and you and Claud and the amazing people that I’ve got
to meet on this show. The people behind the scenes in hair, make-up, costume, Tasha our runner, Stef, Jas, everybody.”
The former Sunday League footballer – who has been in a relationship with Dean Eagles for over a decade – went on to explain he had been “so lucky” to dance with Giovanni and thanked his family, friends and other half for their support.
He said: “I also want to thank this guy [Giovanni] as well, he’s been so amazing, and I feel so lucky that I’ve got to dance with you every day. Not only are you a fantastic dancer but you are also a fantastic guy on top of that. I want to thank all my family and friends and my other half Dean, who is in the audience, I love you so much.”
Meanwhile, Giovanni – who last year was paired with ‘EastEnders’ actress Rose Ayling-Ellis and eventually won the show with her – went on to pay tribute to Richie as a “superfan” of the show and jokingly acknowledged that they would be leaving the competition dressed as characters from ‘The Lion King’, following their Movie Week performance.
He said: “I have to say it’s been an honour to be able to dance with you because I know how much you love Strictly Come Dancing,
you really are a superfan. And I’m glad that you got to do this experience and glad that I got to do it with you. It’s been a shame it’s been too short for us but I hope you’ve enjoyed every single second of it, and it stays in your heart forever. Look at us we’ve gone out dressed as Timon and Pumbaa. So lovely jubbly, well done Richie.”
Richie is the second famous face to be axed from the show, following the exit of ‘Loose Women’ panellist Kaye Adams in week one, leaving the likes of former ‘Coronation Street’ star Kym Marsh, Bros singer Matt Goss and Paralympian Ellie Simmonds all vying for the Glitterball Trophy.
Richie and Giovanni will be joining Rylan and Janette Manrara for their first exclusive televised interview live on ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’ on Monday 10 October at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ returns on Saturday 15 October at 6.30pm with the results show airing the next day at 7:15pm on BBC One.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara de la Hoyde has declared ‘Love Island’ will be epic with new host Maya Jama.
Maya is believed to be taking over from Laura Whitmore as the presenter of the ITV2 dating show after the Irish star stepped down over the summer and she will reportedly make her debut hosting the winter version which will be filmed in South Africa early next year – and former winner Cara is adamant Maya is exactly what the show needs.
She told The Sun: “I’m totally buzzing for Maya to take over. I’m going to have to start watching it again now … She’s got so much personality. ‘Love Island’ is going to be epic this winter. I can’t wait.”
Although Maya’s appointment has yet to be confirmed by ITV, she’s said to be in the final stages of finalising her contract.
A source previously told The Sun: “Maya was ITV’s dream option. She is fun, beautiful and a brilliant presenter.”
Laura announced in August she won’t be returning to ‘Love Island’.
The star – who is marred to the show’s narrator Iain Sterling – said in a statement: “Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of ‘Love Island’.
“There are certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult that cannot be changed some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects. I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands.”
Laura initially took over hosting duties to fill in for previous presenter Caroline Flack and she later took on the role full time in the aftermath of her pal’s death in 2020.
She added: “I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Elliott Wright’s wife Sadie is pregnant one year after suffering a devastating miscarriage.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star and his other half – who have three-old son Billy together – announced over the weekend that they are set to welcome a rainbow child into the world in a few months’ times.
Alongside a black-and-white snap of their son kissing her bump by the pool and another of the little one holding their baby’s ultrasound scan, they announced on Instagram: “We have hoped and we have prayed, and now we are so excited to say, another little darling is on the way.
“Over 5 months of growing you, forever to love you.. We can’t wait to meet you our darling baby.”
The couple revealed the tragic news that they lost their baby five months into the pregnancy in July 2021.
The reality star – who lost his dad Eddie in March that year after he contracted COVID-19 – and Sadie revealed they had lost a baby boy.
The 41-year-old star wrote: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we tell you the devastating news that we had a miscarriage and lost our baby boy at 5 months.”
Sadie wrote: “Our hearts are broken into a million pieces and our whole world and dreams have been ripped apart.
“We was so lucky to have had time to spend with our baby after the tragic birth and we take comfort that our darling boy is now up in heaven with Grandad Eddie.
“We would like to thank everyone who looked after us and our beautiful baby at St Thomas’s Hospital, especially our midwife Camella… having you by our side helped us more than you could possibly know.
“We really thank you for all your condolences at this terribly sad time but ask for privacy as family whilst we grieve the loss of our beautiful baby boy.”
Elliott is also dad to Elliott Jr., 15, and Olivia, 13, from his previous marriage.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Heaton is “truly grateful” to be taking part in ‘Dancing on Ice’ after achieving sobriety.
The 43-year-old pop star – who has been married to businessman Hugh Hanley since 2010 and has daughter Faith, 10, and eight-year-old son Aaron with him – battled through alcohol addiction but has now been sober for over a year and is “so excited” to hit the rink when the series returns to screens in early 2023.
“I’m so excited. I can’t believe it. Me and the kids are such fans of the show in general, we watch every series. I’ve always wanted to do it and I’ve always kind of had my name in the mix but I know that I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way my body was and the way that I was 18 months ago so I’m really truly grateful that I didn’t get it back then and I’ve got it this year when I’m a lot stronger and able – hopefully – to commit to it and do everything that I can.”
The ‘Just a Little’ hitmaker went on to explain that “everything is clear” since she gave up alcohol and urged any fans who may be struggling that they can also find the same “strength” that she did to conquer addiction.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “I can’t believe I was here 16 months ago telling my story and what had been happening to me and how I needed to focus on the future. But now we’re here and I feel so lucky. The colours came back and everything is clear. I’m just really focused on the time ahead with ‘Dancing on Ice.’ The kids are so buzzing – Faith came up to me when I found out I had it and she said ‘I’m so proud of you mummy’ and it’s just so beautiful that she is proud of mummy for what I was and what I am now and it just shows strength. I hope anybody watching, where I was and where I am now, if I can do something like this, then you can too. There is help.”
The former Liberty X singer went on to joke that while she has “absolutely no idea” what she is doing, she has been on the ice a “couple of times” already and is looking forward to getting her custom-made boots on.
She added: “I definitely can’t skate! I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, that’s the honesty of it. I’m not a skater. I’ve been on the ice a couple of times just to audition and get my feet moving. But tomorrow is officially the first day in my skates that they got made me with everybody else so that’s the first time that I’m going to be on the ice, realistically.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Preeya Kalidas would “absolutely” return to ‘EastEnders.’
The 42-year-old actress played the role of market stall worker Amira Masood on the BBC soap opera from 2009 until 2012 and would be in favour of a comeback because she loved it so much the first time round.
She said: “I had the best time on that show and I loved playing Amira so, absolutely, I would (go back) if there was a storyline as full of drama as the previous ones.”
The ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ actress went on to describe her first time on the Albert Square set as “overwhelming” because she had been watching actors like Steve McFadden – who plays Phil Mitchell – for years and found it “poignant” when millions of people tuned in to watch her character’s wedding to Syed.
She told Metro newspaper’s SixtySeconds column: “It was overwhelming. I used to watch it when I was a kid so it was bizarre walking on set and seeing people like Phil Mitchell. He came up and introduced himself. He was lovely – he wasn’t Phil, he was Steve McFadden so it was fine. I played Amira Masood and more than 11 million people tuned in to watch her wedding to Syed. I got to wear the most beautiful Indian outfit. The story was so poignant and it won best wedding at the Inside Soap Awards.”
Meanwhile, Preeya added that she was “flattered” to have been nominated alongside Michelle Keegan in the category of Sexiest Female at the British Soap Awards, but noted that it was “right” that the former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who was handed the now-defunct accolade a record total of six consecutive times – was named the winner.
She said: ” I was flattered to be nominated and seen as a sexy female up against Michelle Keegan. She won it but rightly so – she’s gorgeous and super sexy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Bain is engaged to Mollie Lockwood.
The 20-year-old actor – who has played the role of Simon Barlow on ‘Coronation Street’ since 2008 – popped the question to Mollie over a year ago but has kept the news a secret until now and admitted he was getting increasingly “nervous” as the time came for him to get down on one knee.
He said: “We’d been on a romantic night out in Chester for our two-year anniversary, on October 4 last year. We had a lovely meal, then went back to our hotel, took a couple of bottles of bubbly up to our room and watched the sunset from the balcony. That’s when I just asked her. I thought, ‘If I don’t do it now, I’ll keep getting more and more nervous!’ I was pretty certain she’d say yes, but I was still bricking it!
Alex – who has three-year-old daughter Lydia-Rose with Mollie – added that he has known almost since “the day [they] met that Mollie is the “right person” for him and “cannot imagine” being with anyone else.
He said: “My family absolutely love Mollie to pieces. My mum and dad could just see how happy I was when I was around her. I’m a big believer in making that move as soon as you know it’s the right person, and I’ve known that Mollie is my person pretty much since the day we met. She’s got my heart and soul already, so why not seal the deal? I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.”
Alex added that while Mollie is keen to have a wedding at home in the UK, he is tempted by the thought of a wedding abroad for the hot weather.
He told OK! Magazine: “[Molie] pretty set on having the wedding in the UK. Because then we can invite a lot more people and we won’t have the stress of having to fly people out. But I’d quite like a wedding abroad. It’s about the weather for me. I’d consider rearranging my wedding on the day of if it rains!

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly Rainford says being on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is “absolutely amazing”.
The ‘Nova Jones’ star is loving being on the star-studded BBC One Latin and ballroom competition – where she is partnered with newcomer pro Carlos Gu, 28 – despite it being “more challenging” than she thought it would be.
The 21-year-old television personality told Hello! magazine: “It’s been absolutely amazing. It’s everything I thought it would be and more. It’s definitely more challenging than I expected, but it’s so rewarding and topping the leaderboard felt unbelievable.
“I could tell Carlos was going to be the best teacher because he can lead. But he can also do the follower part so he knows exactly where I should be. He’s a tough teacher, but I feel like that makes me a better dancer.”
Molly – who, along with Carols, topped the leaderboard last week with their Quickstep to Beyonce hit ‘Love on Top’ with a score of 34 from the judging panel of Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke – hopes she can continue her streak but knows she can only give her “best”.
She said: “As we’ve done well two weeks in a row, it’s kind of expected that we keep it up, but we can only go out there every week and do our best and hope that it pays off.”
Carlos – who also spoke to the magazine – admitted to loving working with the ex ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star and detailing their good luck ritual.
He said: “This is the first time I have taught somebody who’d never danced before, but she is easy to teach and get along with. She reacts fast and works hard.
“Before we go on, we hug each other and when we finish our performance, we hug again. We’re just experiencing the joy of the moment.”
Carlos gushed about how “proud” he was of his good friend and fellow new addition to the lineup of professional dancers, Nancy Xu, who is paired up with ex ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ star Will Mellor.
He said: “I cried on the first week, where she danced her jive with Will, as it was my first time seeing her performing live. I can’t tell you how proud I am of her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East “couldn’t believe” she was in the bottom two on ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’
The 34-year-old star is currently taking part in the BBC Latin and Ballroom competition but was taken aback when it was revealed she and professional partner Vito Coppola had to dance the American Smooth to ‘Part of Your World’ from ‘The Little Mermaid’ once again on Sunday (09.10.22) to stay in the competition.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it. Of course, you know someone is going to be called but as soon as you hear your name it’s like ‘oh no’. There was so much technique in my dance and three terrifying lifts and I remember after I’d danced on Saturday I was like ‘phew, done it now, I can relax a little bit and think about the next dance’. But as soon as I knew I was in the bottom two I thought ‘Oh no I’ve got to do it again. I’ve got to do all those lifts again. And with added pressure!’ So, I was very nervous; very, very nervous. Vito just looked at me and said, ‘well you get to be Ariel again’ and it is an amazing dance to dance, so it’s really cool that I got to do it again and I guess that’s what I’m going to take as a positive. I’m so happy and grateful that the judges saved us as I’m not ready to stop dancing with Vito. We’re just getting started.”
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant and radio host was saved by judges Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood and – although head judge Shirley Ballas would have opted to save eventual eliminees Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice – Vito admitted that while the dance-off was “unexpected”, he enjoyed getting another chance to perform with his “Little Fleurmaid.”
Speaking on ‘The Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East’, he said: “Of course we always are grateful for the feedback and we take it seriously because we want to work and improve. The comments were kind of the same as previous weeks and that’s OK because it means that we still have stuff to improve on but it’s a shame that they didn’t notice the stuff we had improved from the previous week. Craig asked about head shape and positioning – we improved that. They asked about footwork – we improved that, the frame was better. We did a super dangerous lift, that’s quite difficult to do and they didn’t notice, but it’s OK it just means we have to do more.
“The dance off was unexpected but it gave me another chance to dance with the little Fleurmaid! And I got so many messages from people saying we didn’t vote because we thought you were going to go through. Sometimes people think ‘they’re good, they’ll be safe’ and they don’t vote but people need to vote!”
