Only Fools and Hoses’ David Jason still wears Del Boy’s clothes

OHMYGOSSIP — Only Fools and Horses’ Sir David Jason still wears some of Del Boy Trotter’s clothes.
The 82-year-old actor played the legendary TV character from 1981 until the BBC sitcom’s last-ever episode in 2003, and he still has a number of market trader Del’s garments, including his iconic sheepskin coat and a jumper he wears, much to his wife Gill Hinchcliffe’s displeasure.
He said: “How dare you even suggest that I kept that bomber jacket, and that black cap, and that overcoat.
“I didn’t steal them . . . they were offered to me and because they were memories of my character, I grabbed them with both hands. I put them in a big suitcase and off I went.
“There’s still one sweater I wear much to my wife Gill’s chagrin. She hates it and I love it.
“She says I should give it to charity and I say no, it’s my memories of Fools and Horses. I’ll tell you what I’ve also got, that big sheepskin coat that Del wore right at the beginning.
“Unfortunately, I can’t wear that because it’s too loud but I love it.”
‘Only Fools’ came to an end on Christmas Day 2003 with feature-length episode ‘Sleepless in Peckham’, and the show’s creator John Sullivan passed away eight years later aged 64.
David admits he can’t see another episode ever being made because John is the “only person” he would “trust” with the script, but he recall the pair once turning down the chance to make an ‘Only Fools’ movie.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “I think the company that wanted us to make that film was the same that made the Carry On films. They were very popular and I suppose quite successful. But John and I were not that impressed because they were made quite cheaply.
“Although they were successful and funny, they didn’t look like they were made in Hollywood, did they?
“So we turned it down. And that was the only time we ever considered doing that. It wasn’t given the ideology that it would have some class about it, let me put it that way.”

Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer to team up for Dancing On Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Joey Essex has been paired with pro skater Vanessa Bauer for next year’s ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star will compete on the ITV and ITVX ice dancing competition – which is set to return in early 2023 – with the 26-year-old skater.
The 32-year-old reality star shared several snaps of himself with Vanessa on Instagram, and he wrote: “Ice to meet you”.
Joey’s fellow ‘Dancing on Ice’ competitor Patsy Palmer – who played Bianca Jackson on ‘EastEnders’ – expressed her sheer joy at being paired with Matt Evers, 46, who has appeared in every single series of the show since it began in 2006.
The 50-year-old soap star wrote on Instagram: “OMGGGGGGGG YESSSSSSSSS ITS THE ONE and ONLY @themattevers HOW EXCITING!!!!!!! Let’s do this. He is so gorgeous. @dancingonice THANKYOU. (sic)”
Reigning ‘Love Island’ champion Ekin-Su Culculoglu, 28 – who took the crown on the ITV2 dating competition with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 27 – labelled her partnership with Brendyn Hatfield, 36, “definitely a dream team”.
She recently revealed when she “stopped thinking about everything” she was able to really get into her ‘Dancing on Ice’ training.
Ekin-Su wrote on social media: “Today, my body clicked. I don’t know what happened but somehow, when I let go, and stopped thinking about everything, my body felt like a feather and I glided.”
The trio will be joined on the ice by fellow competitors who include The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran, ‘Hollyoaks’ star Carley Stenson and former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.
Last month, Siva named Joey as his “biggest competition”.
The 33-year-old singer said: “I’ve only seen them skate a few days, but off of that … I think Joey Essex.
“Just trying to stay up! I’m falling down all the time and trying to remember the moves. But overall it’s fun. It is fun. I’ve never skated before, but I feel like I could go a long way. I feel confident.”

Matt Hancock ‘signs up for I’m A Celebrity’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock is set to sign up for this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former Health Secretary is expected to be the 12th celebrity in this year’s series of the ITV show, during which 10 celebrities will enter the jungle on Sunday (06.11.22), and it is then thought Matt and comedian Seann Walsh will head into camp at a later date.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: “Matt is a sensational signing for the show as producers love a star with a story to tell – and they always hope they’ll spill the beans round the campfire.
“He’s the latest in a long line of figures from the political sphere, including MP Nadine Dorries, Stanley Johnson and MP Lembit Opik.
“There’s been a question mark over who the twelfth campmate would be, partly because negotiations over Matt going in were so top secret. It seems Matt was a last-minute signing.”
The 44-year-old Conservative politician previously came under fire after he was caught kissing his aide Gina Coladangelo amid the COVID-19 pandemic, when social distancing guidance was in place.
Matt was recently said to have been approached to appear on the next series of ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
An insider told the publication: “Matt impressed ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ producers when he spoke to them and they want him to take part.
“He would be the biggest name to have signed up for the next series and it would be a real coup for the show.
“Matt knows there is a mixed perception of him in the public eye and he thinks going on the show would reveal a different side to himself.
“It is not unusual for MPs to take part in these kinds of shows and Matt thinks he could go far on SAS, despite it being the hardest of all the reality series on television.”
But a spokesperson for the parliamentary representative for West Suffolk claimed in September that he hadn’t “signed up for anything”, when asked if he was going to appear in the star-studded military endurance Channel 4 show.
They told the publication: “Matt gets a huge number of offers and is asked to appear on TV shows all the time but he has not signed up to anything.”
Should Matt enter the jungle, he will rub shoulders with pop icon Boy George, ‘Coronation Street’ star Sue Cleaver, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Owen Warner, former England rugby player Mike Tindall, radio presenter Chris Moyles, England Lioness Jill Scott, comedian Babatunde Aleshe, former ‘Love Island’ star Olivia Attwood, and TV presenters Charlene White and Scarlette Douglas.

Matt Hancock suspended from Conservative Party after signing up for I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock has been suspended from the Conservative Party after signing up for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former Health Secretary is expected take part in this year’s series of the ITV show as one of two latecomers, after the initial 10 celebrities have entered the Australian jungle camp on Sunday (06.11.22), but he has lost the whip as a result of reports he is going to appear Down Under.
Simon Hart, the Chief Whip, said: “Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect.”
However, West Suffolk MP Matt is not expected to serve in government again, and is said to see the show as an “incredible opportunity”.
A political ally close to Matt told The Sun newspaper: “‘I’m A Celeb’ is the most watched show on TV. Matt doesn’t expect to serve in government again, so it’s an incredible opportunity for him to engage with the 12 million Brits who tune in every single night.
“Matt has always believed in communicating directly with the people he represents – whether that’s getting out and pounding the streets in West Suffolk, through all sorts of media or via those press conferences.
“There are many ways to do the job of being an MP. Whether he’s in camp for one day or three weeks, there are very few places people will be able to see a politician as they really are.
“Where better to show the human side of those who make these decisions than with the most watched programme on TV? “Politicians like Matt must go to where the people are – particularly those who are politically disengaged.
“Matt’s of the view that we must embrace popular culture. Rather than looking down on reality TV, we should see it for what it is – a powerful tool to get our message heard by younger generations.”
A Downing Street spokesperson said: “The PM believes that at a challenging time for the country MPs should be working hard for their constituents whether that’s in the House or indeed in their constituencies.”
It is expected that the 44-year-old politician and comedian Seann Walsh will head into camp when the series is already underway.
A TV insider told the publication: “Matt is a sensational signing for the show as producers love a star with a story to tell – and they always hope they’ll spill the beans round the campfire.”
Matt – who was recently said to have been approached to appear on the next series of ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ – previously came under fire after he was caught kissing his aide Gina Coladangelo amid the COVID-19 pandemic, when social distancing guidance was in place.
Matt and Seann are set to join up with pop icon Boy George, ‘Coronation Street’ star Sue Cleaver, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Owen Warner, former England rugby player Mike Tindall, radio presenter Chris Moyles, England Lioness Jill Scott, comedian Babatunde Aleshe, former ‘Love Island’ star Olivia Attwood, and TV presenters Charlene White and Scarlette Douglas in camp.

Chris Moyles ‘declined iPad during I’m A Celebrity isolation’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Moyles isn’t allowed his iPad during his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ isolation.
That’s according to his “very good friend” Andi Peters, who revealed the former BBC Radio 1 DJ, 48, has been banned from having the Apple device while he and the rest of the celebrity contestants – who include pop icon Boy George and royal rugby player Mike Tindall – are isolating to ensure they are COVID-19-free before entering the Australian jungle.
While appearing on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Tuesday (01.11.22), the 52-year-old TV presenter said: “We’re very, very good friends. I’m so excited to watch him. At the moment, they are all in isolation. ITV has put them in isolation on top of the rules in Australia to make sure they are COVID safe.
“I think this is the part he’s going to struggle with, just being by himself for 10 days. He asked for an iPad, they said no.”
Andi called Chris “determined” and “dedicated” and revealed the Radio X DJ wants to change “the perception” the public have of him.
He said: “He so wants to change the perception of him being an alpha male. He’s genuinely the sweetest man and I think that’s going to come across.”
Recently, Chris – who was rumoured as a campmate before ITV confirmed the full line up this week – admitted he is a “big fan” of not facing his fears.
He said: “Some people say if something scares you, then do it, but I am a firm believer you shouldn’t scare yourself!
“I am a big fan of my own comfort zone, too. I am petrified of heights and getting into camp will be a massive challenge for me.
“Even that rickety rope bridge makes my heart start going. I have never jumped out of a plane or walked out on a plank on a high rise building before and I know I have got to suck it all up.
“In the past, I always said no to offers to take part. But this year, I didn’t say no immediately, and I ended up going to a meeting.
“Now I don’t know why I said yes, but I am a huge fan of the show and I know what I am letting myself in for! My friends who have done it before told me I will have a great time.”

Alison Steadman shocked to discover her father was adopted

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Steadman was shocked to find out that her father was adopted.
The ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star, 76, discovered that her dad George Steadman was adopted was while making her episode of ‘DNA Journey’ alongside Larry Lamb, 75, who played her on-screen husband in the BBC sitcom.
While appearing on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Tuesday (01.11.22) with Larry, she told hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls: “My father was adopted, which I didn’t know, none of us knew in our family.”
Larry said: “It knocked her sideways!”
Alison revealed her father probably didn’t know he was adopted, and she was so “glad” to have her friend Larry by her side when she received the earth-shattering news.
She said: “I don’t think [my father] knew.
“He was eight months old. I was so glad that I had Larry with me honestly because I was just so upset by it, I really was.
“My grandmother, my aunt, my uncle they all knew [and] they didn’t tell me, but they were lovely people that’s the main thing and I love them to bits. But to find out suddenly that my grandma wasn’t my grandma as it was, was quite upsetting.”
The former ‘EastEnders’ star discovered “the same sort of thing” when he uncovered that his mum Jessie White was adopted.
Larry said: “I’d found out the same sort of thing – my mother was adopted.
“And there was a whole chain of things that sprang off that, so I kind of got where Alison was. Mine was kind of easier to accept but Ali’s, this was a big shaking of the keystone.”
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star warned fans of ‘Gavin and Stacey’ to not “hold your breath” about a future festive edition of the beloved sitcom, which last aired a new episode over Christmas 2019.
Larry said: “I wouldn’t hold your breath – and certainly not this Christmas!”
‘Good Morning Britain’ is on weekdays from 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.

Emma Corrin and David Dawson were terrified of making music with Harry Styles

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Corrin and David Dawson were “scared s*******” about sharing a recording studio with Harry Styles as they worked on ‘My Policeman’.
The pair feature alongside the pop star in the romantic drama film and recalled the pressure of making music with the ‘As It Was’ hitmaker so the trio could bond for the project – where they share intimate scenes together.
Speaking at a screening of the movie in New York City, David said: “The first time the three of us got together, we were thrown into a sound booth. We got around the piano and we had to sing for each other, and that was a really clever way of breaking the ice.”
Emma added: “Like a recording studio. Which is Harry’s natural habitat, but we were both scared s*******.”
The film is set in 1950s Brighton and follows the complicated love triangle between the closeted gay policeman Tom Burgess (Styles), schoolteacher Marion Taylor (Corrin) and museum curator Patrick Hazlewood (Dawson) and Emma was grateful to have plenty of time to rehearse for the picture.
‘The Crown’ star – who came out as queer last year and later revealed that they are non-binary and use gender-neutral pronouns – said: “We were really lucky because we had about three weeks of rehearsal time before we started shooting, which is incredibly rare.
“And we rehearsed as groups of three – I think mainly because of Covid, actually – but I wonder how it would have been different if we rehearsed as six.”
‘My Policeman’ highlights how homosexuality was illegal in Britain during the 1950s and Dawson revealed how he approached playing a character during the era.
The 40-year-old actor said: “I have a man who’s very special to me who I worked with years ago, and became close friends with him. He used to tell me a lot of beautiful stories of him growing up as a gay man during this period.”

Whoopi Goldberg: Till was a passion project

OHMYGOSSIP — Whoopi Goldberg committed to ‘Till’ because she was “interested” in the film.
The 66-year-old actress both stars in and produces the movie about Emmett Till – a 14-year-old boy who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955 for whistling at a white woman – and revealed that it was a passion project for her.
Speaking to Collider, Whoopi said: “I’ve only (ever) wanted to do stuff I’m interested in and stuff that I thought was interesting. It doesn’t necessarily have to be interesting to other people.
“It only has to really interest me, that’s always been the same. So getting to do this was a gift because this was not my plan.”
Whoopi, who plays Emmett’s grandmother Alma Carthan in the film, revealed that her role in the movie has changed over time.
The ‘Sister Act’ star said: “At one point I was going to act, but it was years and years and years ago. By the time we got it, I’ve evolved into grandma.”
The project is based on more than two decades of research by Keith Beauchamp and Whoopi explained that she wanted family relationships to be at the centre of the story.
She said: “The story has always been very crystal clear because, of course, we had Keith (Beauchamp), who really is the bones of the project because this is something that he’s been a part of forever. He made the documentary that reopened the case.
“This relationship between mother and son was always a priority. This was when Barbara Broccoli and Fred Zollo and I and Keith sat down, that was always the piece that we felt people needed to get.
“They needed to understand these are normal people. These are people who lived in Chicago, like your grandmother, your cousin, your uncle.”

Eamonn Holmes in pain after fracturing shoulder

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes is in “an awful lot of pain” after fracturing his shoulder.
The 62-year-old presenter is currently recovering after undergoing spinal surgery to ease chronic pain and is “gutted” to have suffered a setback after falling over at home in Surrey, requiring him to undergo another operation.
His spokesperson said: “As a consequence of being laid low by major surgery, Eamonn suffered a fall at home a couple of weeks ago and had to undergo another operation.
“He’s naturally gutted by the setback, but the good news is the surgery on his shoulder went well. He’s now receiving fantastic care and resting.”
Eamonn will now not return to his breakfast show on GB News as soon as he had hoped, but is trying to stay positive.
The representative added: “Sadly it means Eamonn is likely to need a longer period off TV than he first thought in order to get himself better and heal.
“Despite being in an awful lot of pain, he’s remaining positive.
“He is looking forward to doing what he loves most and being back on TV and presenting on GB News just as soon as he can.”
The former ‘This Morning’ host is grateful for the “wonderful care” he has received from NHS staff and also thanked fans for their support.
His spokesperson said: “He’d also like to thank everyone who has sent him get-well messages.
“Eamonn’s focus now is solely on resting, and getting better – which he is determined to do.”
Eamonn previously expressed his hopes that the spinal operation would ease his chronic pain in his back and legs.
He said: “This week a surgeon will cut into my back to hopefully relieve pressure on my sciatic nerves.
“It’s an operation that carries a 20 percent risk of going wrong, but such is the pain and restrictions that I have been suffering for the past 18 months, I’ve decided it is a risk I am willing to take.”

Justin Long wants to make Vince Vaughn’s Dodgeball sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Vince Vaughn has a “great idea” for a ‘Dodgeball’ sequel – but Ben Stiller is “wary” of making the film.
Justin Long revealed he has spoken to his co-stars about the idea of making a follow-up to the 2004 movie, and while he would “love” to reprise his role as Justin Redman in Vince’s planned story, he admitted not everyone is convinced by the potential project.
The 44-year-old actor explained he and Vince had discussed a potential sequel while working together on upcoming festive film ‘Christmas with the Campbells’ so he felt he had to “facilitate” setting up a meeting between his friend and Ben when the ‘Night at the Museum’ star appeared on his ‘Life Is Short’ podcast in June.
Justin told ComicBook.com: “So I had just been around Vince a lot, and Vince had been telling me that he has this great idea for a sequel.
“I don’t know if he had yet pitched it to Ben, but I kind of set up the pitch, I felt like I should facilitate the pitch.
“Of course I would love to do it and I hope that it ends up happening, but I think Ben is a little, what he told me on that podcast was that he’s a little trepidatious about doing a sequel to something so beloved, something that people enjoy so much that.
“It’s very risky, you don’t wanna s*** on the original, you want something just as good.
“So I think [Ben is] a little wary of that, of trying to recreate something that was very specific to that time, but I hope he comes around on it.”
But Justin is hopeful Vince can change Ben’s mind.
He added: “Vince is a very convincing person, so I’m just hoping Vince can convince him with his idea. It’s a funny idea, I don’t wanna say what it is.”
During Ben’s appearance on the podcast, he confirmed to Justin that he and Vince – who played rival gym owners White Goodman and Pete LaFleur – had discussed the idea of a follow-up to the hit comedy.
He said: “It’s a good idea. I just – I feel like – sequel, sequelitis.
“It’s such a good one that you don’t want to…”

Anne Hathaway suggests Devil Wears Prada is ‘relaunched’

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway thinks ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ should be “relaunched”.
The 39-year-old actress starred as fashion graduate Andy Sachs in the 2006 film opposite Meryl Streep – who earned an Oscar nomination for her role as no-nonsense magazine editor Miranda Priestly – and the star thinks the movie could be rebooted with a new set of actors.
She said: “They could relaunch it, get some new people and do it.”
But Hathaway doesn’t ever see herself reprising her role as Sachs, who worked as Priestly’s co-assistant alongside Emily Blunt’s character Emily Charlton, while Stanley Tucci portrayed art director Nigel Kipling.
Speaking on ABC talk show ‘The View’, she added: “I don’t know if there can be [a sequel].
“I just think that movie was in a different era. Now everything’s gone so digital and that movie is centred around the concept of producing a physical thing and it’s just, it’s just very different.
“It is tempting to think about Andy and Emily needing to get Miranda her coffee and she’s somewhere in Europe.
“And then along the way they pick up Stanley Tucci in Italy, who’s at a restaurant. It’s tempting but I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
In 2021, Hathaway revealed she was the ninth choice for ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
Speaking to the contestants of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’, she explained: “I will give you some tea: I was the ninth choice for ‘Devil Wears Prada’. But I got it! Hang in there, never give up.”
Rachel McAdams reportedly turned down the role, while Claire Danes and Juliette Lewis were also considered.

Matt Hancock entering I’m A Celebrity to ‘show human side of politicians’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock is taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ to “talk directly” to those who “aren’t always interested in politics” and to raise the profile of his dyslexia campaign.
The former Health Secretary was suspended from the Conservative Party on Tuesday (01.11.22) after it was revealed he was entering the Australian jungle-based ITV show, but 44-year-old West Suffolk MP insists it is important for people to “see a politician as they really are”, rather than sit in “ivory towers in Westminster”.
In a piece for The Sun newspaper, Matt – who has landed in Brisbane ahead of the show – wrote: “Some may think I’ve lost my marbles or had one too many drinks, swapping the comfortable surroundings of Westminster and West Suffolk for the extreme conditions of the Australian outback, going where there will be few creature comforts, not enough food, and a load of physical tasks involving snakes, spiders and plenty of other creepy-crawlies.
“While there will undoubtedly be those who think I shouldn’t go, I think it’s a great opportunity to talk directly to people who aren’t always interested in politics, even if they care very much about how our country’s run.
“It’s our job as politicians to go to where the people are – not to sit in ivory towers in Westminster.”
Matt was diagnosed with dyslexia aged 18 and has since campaigned to raise awareness of the learning difficulty, and he believes being on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ will help because reality TV is “honest and unfiltered”.
He said: “I want to raise the profile of my dyslexia campaign to help every dyslexic child unleash their potential – even if it means taking an unusual route to get there … via the Australian jungle!
“‘I’m A Celebrity… is watched by millions of Brits up and down the country.
“I want to use this incredible platform to raise awareness, so no child leaves primary school not knowing if they have dyslexia.”
Matt admitted he turned down the show “twice this summer”, but he had a “change of heart” after the programme approached him for a third time.
He added: “So, the truth is, I haven’t lost my marbles or had one too many pina coladas. It’s something I’ve given a lot of thought to. I was elected by the people, and it’s important to engage with voters, especially younger voters, no matter where they are, and show the human side of politicians. That’s what I hope to do.”
Simon Hart, the Chief Whip, confirmed on Tuesday he had suspended the whip from Matt after it was revealed he was entering the jungle.
He said: “Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect.”
What’s more, a Downing Street spokesperson said: “The PM believes that at a challenging time for the country MPs should be working hard for their constituents whether that’s in the House or indeed in their constituencies.”
It is expected Matt and comedian Seann Walsh will head into camp when the series is already underway.
The pair are set to join up with pop icon Boy George, ‘Coronation Street’ star Sue Cleaver, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Owen Warner, former England rugby player Mike Tindall, radio presenter Chris Moyles, England Lioness Jill Scott, comedian Babatunde Aleshe, former ‘Love Island’ star Olivia Attwood, and TV presenters Charlene White and Scarlette Douglas in camp.
Matt – who was recently said to have been approached to appear on the next series of ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ – previously came under fire after he was caught kissing his aide Gina Coladangelo amid the COVID-19 pandemic, when social distancing guidance was in place.

Rachel Shenton joins The Strangers remake

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Shenton has boarded the cast of ‘The Strangers’ remake.
The 34-year-old star has joined an ensemble that features Madeleine Petsch, Froy Gutierrez, Gabriel Basso and Ema Horvath.
The original film was released in 2008 and starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as a couple who have to cope with a terrifying home invasion. It registered as a sleeper hit after being released and came to be appreciated as a cult classic.
A sequel, ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night’, was released in 2018.
The new movie follows Petsch’s character as she drives cross-country with her longtime boyfriend (Gutierrez) to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest.
When their car breaks down in Oregon, the pair have no choice but to spend the night in a secluded Airbnb where they are terrorised from dusk till dawn by three masked strangers.
Lionsgate are planning to expand the story in new and unexpected ways with a pair of sequels.

Lupita Nyong’o starring in A Quiet Place: Day One

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o is to star in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’.
The 39-year-old actress is in final negotiations to star in the Paramount spin-off to the ‘A Quiet Place’ horror movies.
The film is being written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, who helmed the acclaimed Nicolas Cage movie ‘Pig’.
Little is known about the project other than the fact that is a spin-off rather than the third installment in the series. It is hoped that the movie sets up ‘A Quiet Place’ universe for the studio to explore in years to come.
It is thought to be unlikely that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt will return for the latest film, which is slated for release in March 2024.
A third movie in the original franchise is currently in the pipeline with Krasinski returning to direct. It is expected to hit screens in 2025.
Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ along with Krasinski via his Sunday Night banner.
Lupita will reprise her role as the spy Nakia in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) sequel ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and revealed that she supported the decision not to recast the character of T’Challa following the death of actor Chadwick Boseman.
She explained: “That is not the death of the Black Panther, that’s the whole point.
“It’s laying to rest (T’Challa) and allowing for real life to inform the story of the movies. I know that there are all sorts of reasons why people want him to be recast, but I don’t have the patience. I don’t have the presence of mind, or I don’t have the objectivity to argue with that. I don’t. I am very biased.”
