Tim Burton hasn’t ruled out working with Johnny Depp again

OHMYGOSSIP — Tim Burton hasn’t ruled out working with Johnny Depp again.
The Hollywood director and the actor have collaborated on numerous movies over the years, including ‘Edward Scissorhands’, ‘Dark Shadows’, Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’, and ‘Sweeney Todd’.
And the 64-year-old filmmaker would jump at the chance to work with Depp again if the right part came up, despite his recent high-profile legal battles with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Burton is quoted by ComicBook.com as saying: “If the right thing was around, sure… I think with anybody, you just, I never work with anybody even with my friends, it’s not like a party so I always would like to try it with him or anybody to kind of go; what is the part? What is the thing? And then is it the right thing, is it the right character? I take things on those basis and no others.”
Last week, Depp appealed the “erroneous” decision that awarded Heard $2 million in damages in their defamation trial.
The former couple were embroiled in a six-week trial earlier this year over an op-ed the ‘Aquaman’ star wrote in 2018 about being a victim of domestic violence, with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star ultimately winning over $10 million in damages after winning all three of his defamation claims and his ex-spouse winning one of her three countersuit claims.
But on November 2, Depp’s legal team made a filing in the Virginia Court of Appeals, arguing the 59-year-old star should not be held liable for comments made by his attorney, Adam Waldman, who had told the Daily Mail in comments published on April 26, 2020, that Heard and her friends had set-up his client by calling police with a “hoax” of abuse claims in 2016, remarks the jury decided he had made while acting as an agent for the ‘Black Mass’ actor.
Depp’s lawyers argued in court documents that, despite an “emphatic favorable verdict” for their client, “the trial court was confronted with a number of novel and complex legal and factual issues, and although the trial court decided the vast majority of those issues sensibly and correctly, a few rulings were erroneous.”
They continued: “The judgment in Ms. Heard’s favour on that lone statement is erroneous. Ms. Heard’s claim was fatally flawed, and the trial court should have granted Mr. Depp’s motion for summary judgment and his motion to strike the evidence.
“Ms. Heard presented no evidence at trial that Mr. Depp was personally involved in directing or making any of the three Waldman Statements. Indeed, Mr. Depp testified that he had never even seen the Waldman Statements prior to the filing of the Counterclaim in August of 2020.
“Mr. Waldman is an independent contractor, whose allegedly tortious conduct is not automatically attributable to Mr. Depp” and “no evidence of Mr. Waldman’s actual malice was presented at trial” by Heard’s legal team.
“This Court should reverse the judgment on Ms. Heard’s Counterclaim as to the April 27 Waldman Statement, but should otherwise affirm the judgment in Mr. Depp’s favour.”
Heard also lodged an appeal over the verdict, having previously failed in a bid to have a mistrial declared amid claims of jury fraud.

The 32-year-old reality star shared a sweet video of the family on a day out in the park in which her daughter India, five – whom she has with her ex-boyfriend Josh ‘JP’ Patterson – could be seen jumping for joy as she took their sonogram out of a bag.
Binky captioned the clip: “Imagine thinking you’re nearing the ‘oh so quiet’ phase again…. Taurus baby coming in hot.”
The couple married for the second time on holiday in Corfu in the summer, after secretly tying the knot last year.
The loved-up pair got engaged in September 2020.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “The easiest ‘Yes’ EVER! …
“On Friday morning, on their way to the duck pond, Max asked India for her permission to ask her mummy to marry him. I love you Max – you bring out the best in me. I’m so lucky. (sic)”
In August 2019, Binky admitted she had found love again, a year after splitting from ex JP.
Speaking about the day they met at Soho Farmhouse, Binky said: “I was at the bar ordering cocktails, and Max came up to me and said, ‘So, how are you, what do you do?’ And the first thing I said was, ‘I’m a mum!’ I was so nervous about him not knowing that I had a child, so I wanted to get it out there before he asked me any more questions, just to see if he was going to run off or not. But his reply was, ‘OK … And?’ That was so nice and put me really at ease right away.”

Danai Gurira wanted to’ honur’ Chadwick Boseman in Wakanda Forever

OHMYGOSSIP — Danai Gurira wanted to “honour” Chadwick Boseman in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ by “giving it her all.”
The 44-year-old actress starred as Okoye alongside the late actor – who died following a battle with colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43 – in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe film ‘Black Panther’ and has reprised her role in the sequel, explaining that the whole movie was to continue the “legacy” her former co-star began.
She said: “Ryan [Coogler, director] actually talks you through it first, and then you get the script much later. So I was able to really think about a lot of what he’d told me before. And then, yes, then the script came later, and yeah, it was no small task. It was like, ‘Okay, this is amazing, but this is also a… It’s a lot to accomplish. The whole goal of this movie was to honour Chadwick and that was really at the core of why we came back together after we’d lost him, was about honouring him through the legacy he started.
“So, with him as an anchor and the memory of him as such an anchor, it was just knowing that watching him work the last time and how much he gave of himself at all times. You just go into this giving your all as well. And that’s how you honour him.”
The ’Avengers: Endgame’ star went on to add that director Ryan – who was also at the helm of the 2018 movie – is very “collaborative” on set and things can “shift” considerably in a small amount of takes.
She told Collider: “He definitely does some pull-asides. He’ll come and talk to you, or he will pull you a little to the side. He’s very collaborative. When he sees something he’s telling you to, ‘Try it this way,” or, ‘Try it that way’ or he’s changing up a line with you. He’s really in it with you. On the day of, it’s very much that moment in the process, where we’re really cooking, is on the day, on the set. And that’s where an idea will spark him. There are things that can shift in what you have done over several takes that could shift in the next take because something’s clicked and that’s exciting.”

EastEnders star Kellie Shirley is pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Kellie Shirley is pregnant.
The 41-year-old actress – who is known for having starred as Carly Wicks on BBC soap opera ‘EastEnders’ from 2006 until 2012 – is expecting a child with husband Phil Davies and explained that she can “connect” with the baby now she knows she is expecting a boy.
She said: “We found out we’re having another boy. As the pregnancy was a shock, I felt like I wanted to be able to connect with the baby more. I didn’t have a preference – I just want the baby to be healthy.”
The ‘In the Long Run’ actress – who is also mother to seven-year-old twins Pearl and Louie with Phil – went on to add that the news came as a shock because she was on-set filming for CBeebies in Manchester when she took ill and had never considered that she could be expecting as she had “hardly seen” her husband.
She told OK! Magazine: “I was literally on my hands and knees feeling horrendous and the on set medic called John, said, ‘Are you sure you’re not pregnant?’. I was like, ‘Oh no, I’m hardly seeing my husband! It’s just this heat.’
Kelli added she was eventually persuaded by John to do a test and was greeted with a “really lovely surprise.”
She added: “Then I was being sick for a couple of weeks and he said, ‘Go and get a pregnancy test’, so I did. It came back positive straightaway. I was like, ‘Oh my God, John was right!’ It was a really lovely surprise. I feel very lucky.”

Daniel Radcliffe: ‘Emerging naked from giant egg for Weird is second weirdest thing I’ve done’

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Radcliffe says emerging naked from a giant egg covered in goo for his new film ‘Weird: The Al Yankovic Story’ is the “second weirdest thing” he has done on film.
The 5ft 5in ‘Harry Potter’ actor, 33, added he didn’t think he was “physically” right to play spoof 6ft singer Weird Al, 63, until he realised the film wasn’t aiming for accuracy and was as zany as the funnyman’s lyrics.
Daniel told NME about shooting a scene in which he emerges from an egg during a drug trip: “I think that scene, coming out of a giant egg while naked, covered in goo, playing the electric guitar, is the second weirdest thing I’ve ever done.
“I think it’s still second to Paul Dano riding me like a jet ski in ‘Swiss Army Man’, but it’s those two then clear daylight before anything else.”
He added about his initial reluctance to take the part: “When I was approached, I thought, ‘That’s really cool, but I feel like there are people closer to Al, physically’.
“I didn’t get at all what the premise of the film was. Then I started reading the script and realised, oh, naturalism and accuracy is not part of their game.”
Daniel said the fact his girlfriend Erin Darke, 38, and her family are Weird Al fans helped persuade him to take the role.
He added: “My girlfriend Erin, she’s been to three concerts and her dad and brother have been to even more.
“That was when my induction into the fold really began… every road trip or Christmas, there will be an Al soundtrack. There’s a lot of Al in our lives.
“I was like (to Erin), ‘Absolutely do not tell your family’, but when we did, the reaction was great.
“If it hadn’t been good I could never listen to Al again but I also might well be single and would certainly never be allowed to see the in-laws again.”

Lupita Nyong’o: ‘Cast of Black Panther sequel visited Chadwick Boseman’s grave before shooting’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o says the cast of the upcoming ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ film visited the grave of Chadwick Boseman before shooting.
The actress, 39, who reprises her role as Nakia from 2018’s ‘Black Panther’, which starred Chadwick before his death in 2020, opened up about the tribute in an interview for the new issue of Ebony magazine.
She said: “We visited his resting place before we started filming and we had that moment as a cast.
“We went with the new cast who hadn’t met him as well. It was our way of continuing this journey.
“It really doesn’t feel like we have anything to prove to his spirit. I feel very, very centred about how we brought him along with us.
“(Director) Ryan (Coogler) had an artist make this necklace that has Chadwick’s image on it and he wore it every day. So he’s been with us, he knows what we did.”
Chadwick died aged 43 after being diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, though he kept the diagnosis largely private, and Marvel insisted shortly after his death that they would not recast his ‘Black Panther’ character T’challa, saying they would instead dedicate the sequel to the late actor.
Lupita’s co-star in the follow up, Danai Gurira, 44, who will again play Okoye, said in Ebony about the impact of Chadwick’s passing: “There’s a grief navigation that we were going through as we were stepping back into living in this world without our leader, our King and our brother. That was a really specific journey to take in it.”
Letitia Wright, 29, who plays Shuri, added in the same joint interview: “I knew that he was in a better place, but I selfishly wanted him to still be here… with us, with me.
“But for myself, I use the film as a love letter to Chad. Every scene, every word I utter is with fullness and with life as he would want me to live it, you know, as he did live.”

She said: “I had my first child, David, when I was 18 and my second, Emilie, when I was 21.
“During those early childhood years there were times when being able to heat the home and put food on the table was a worry. We had a very tight budget and had to make tough choices.”
“I was lucky enough to have my children’s father and a big family network to help and support me, but I know that isn’t the case for so many people.”
Kym – who also has 11-year-old daughter Polly with her ex husband Jamie Lomas – admitted how “awful” it was to thik
Kym – who is now hitched to Scott Ratcliff – said: “As a mum it breaks my heart. To think there are people out there who aren’t able to buy nappies for their children or to give them a safe place to sleep each night is awful.”

Sophie Livingstone, the CEO of the charity added: As the cost-of-living crisis deepens, demand for our service keeps growing and more families need our help in providing these essentials.

Giovanna Fletcher wants to buy manure

OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanna Fletcher wants to buy manure.
The 37-year-old star – who is married to McFly singer Tom Fletcher and has Buzz, eight, Buddy, six and four-year-old Max with him – went back to her Italian roots for new documentary series Made in Italy’ and was inspired to become so sustainable after visiting the poor town, she is now on the lookout for animal waste so she can grow her own crops.
Asked if making the programme had made her given her a more sustainable approach to life, she said: “Definitely! I’ve got some spots in the garden that I definitely want to turn into vegetable patches and make it into an all-year-round garden that’s giving us stuff. At the moment on the school run, I keep spotting signs for well-rotted manure. I’m like ‘There’s the manure, I need that’ and I’m getting ready to buy it. I’ve always loved growing tomatoes, peppers, chilies. It’s great for the kids too! Walking around the garden and having a little meander around and being able to pick stuff off, it’s lovely.”
The ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’ winner added that it was “really special” to visit her father’s home country and enjoyed getting to spend time with her dad even though she has her own life now.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “I think anytime we’re away and I was missing my kids, it was that realisation that we are dad’s kids and although we’re in our 30s, he’s now getting that time to spend just with us that he never gets. I think as soon as grandkids are in the mix and people have their own lives, the parent doesn’t get the one-on-one time so that was really special to spend that time with him. And going back to Italy and discovering more about his upbringing and the place we visited so often as kids. There were tears but there was so much laughter as well! It was just really special – all the things that make dad great, going back to the roots and discovering why they are there. It’s actually quite a poor region and discovering what that means to people in terms of growing their own food. My granny would reuse everything. She was like a Wonderwoman. Everyone tries to erase all of that now but that is journey and that is your life lived. Whatever land people have, they utilise it.”
‘Made in Italy’ is set to air from Sunday 13 November on ITV.

James Haskell: Mike Tindall will win I’m a Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — James Haskell thinks Mike Tindall will win ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’
The 37-year-old star is close friends with fellow rugby player and believes that royal Mike – who is married to King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall – will be victorious in his current stint on the ITV reality survival series.
He said: “Mike is very capable. He is very calm, he’s a calm guy and doesn’t suffer fools. So he’s a big competitor. So, actually, a lot of people when they go into the jungle they have all these preconceptions and nerves but Mike just dived straight in there and got straight in. All the ideas you have of the things you’re scared of – like I’m not keen on spiders and bugs – as soon as you’ve got food, campmates and other people to let down you just throw yourself into it. Mike is quite a private guy anyway and he’s part of one of the most famous and best families in the world.
“I think Zara will go out there and I believe Mike’s gonna win it so we’ll see.”
James – who competed on the series himself in 2019 and finished in eighth place – added that Mike has done “brilliantly” so far with his “competitive spirit” as he adapts to life in the Australian jungle alongside the likes of footballer Jill Scott, ‘Loose Women’ presenter Charlene White and pop star Boy George.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, he added: “Ultimately, you’re used to doing something that is bigger than yourself so trying to motivate people and understand when it’s time to motivate people and understand when it’s time to push and relax. Mike’s done that brilliantly. He does that with our podcast, he does it with me, and he does it with friends and family. The only problem with that is it can sometimes spill over into competitive spirit. You saw last year with Naughty Boy trying to push people who aren’t used to being pushed and don’t know how to be competitive. I thought Jill Scott was fantastic, she just didn’t bat an eyelid. You will see that come to the fore, that sports mentality.”

Cillian Murphy and Danny Boyle fear they could never make ’28 Days Later’ now

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy and Danny Boyle fear they could never make ’28 Days Later’ now.
The star and director of the 2002 zombie flick say the opening scenes in a deserted London would be impossible to obtain and only happened due to looser security pre-9/11.
Cillian, 46, told NME: “The world changed after (we finished shooting) because of the September 11 terrorist attack.
“We’d have never got access to Westminster Bridge, put half a fucking bus down there by Number 10 (Downing Street) now. We had total access. That would never happen now. That time is gone.”
Danny, 66, also told the outlet: “The central city security was almost unrecognisably relaxed compared to what you will understand as city centre security now. That changed with the millennia and we benefitted from deciding to shoot those early mornings in July.
“We hired all these girls to be traffic marshals. One of them was my daughter who was 19 at the time and they’d say, ‘Would you just mind waiting here? We’re making a film…’ It’s just bizarre the way it worked.”
Cillian also said about changing his character’s accent: “Jim was written as English – and I was doing a terrible London accent (in the audition.)
“It wasn’t really connecting but Danny kept asking me back, which was really nice.
“I was in awe of Danny, having grown up on (his films ‘Shallow Grave’ and ‘Trainspotting’), you know, before I was ever an actor. Then they said ‘just play him Irish’ and when I played him Irish, I kind of unlocked something.”

Paul Mescal went method by using Scottish accent throughout filming of ‘Aftersun’

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Mescal went method by using his Scottish accent throughout filming of his new film ‘Aftersun’.
The ‘Normal People’ actor, 26, said he and director Charlotte Wells discussed making his character Calum an Irishman so he could use his native brogue, but decided to stick with him being from Scotland.
He told the Sunday Post (06.11.22): “I stayed in accent for this throughout filming. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and Charlotte gave me her blessing.
“But going to the Edinburgh Film Festival for the British premiere of ‘Aftersun’ made me nervous. It’s like taking my accent into the lion’s den.”
Paul landed a role in the film after ‘Normal People’, based on Sally Rooney’s novel about teenage lovers, won him a TV Bafta for best actor and became the BBC’s most-streamed series of 2020.
‘Aftersun’ is based on director Charlotte’s haunting memories of her last holiday with her dad and has been critically acclaimed as a masterpiece.
Paul plays thirtysomething dad Calum in the film, and said he fought hard for the part despite an unwritten movie rule ambitious young male actors should never play fathers early in their careers.
He added: “I read ‘Aftersun’ when I was preparing for another film, ‘God’s Creatures’, and immediately thought, ‘I will do bad, bad things to be in this film.’
“I wasn’t really aware of the politics of ‘you shouldn’t really be playing dads, you’re 26.’
“I just thought that this was a fantastic character and I was going to do everything I can to play Calum.”
The “bad things” Paul did to get the part included making an audition tape of himself dancing to Blur in his kitchen and teaching himself tai chi by reading ‘Tai Chi for Dummies’.
He has been tipped for Best Actor awards for his performance as an Edinburgh man taking his daughter Sophie, played by newcomer Frankie Corio, 11, as they holiday together at a budget resort in Turkey following his break-up with her mum and as he struggles financially.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? ending after 19 seasons

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ is to end after 19 seasons.
The improvisational comedy – which is the American version of the classic British sitcom – first aired from 1998 until 2007 before being revived in 2013 but actor Colin Mochrie announced that the show will begin shooting its final season in January 2023.
He tweeted: “Hey everyone. Hope you are enjoying the current season of Whose Line. In January, we shoot our final season. Thank you all for the support over the years.”
Host Aisha Tyler quoted Colin’s tweet and emblazoned the post with a string of red heart emojis but no other members of the cast – which includes the likes of Wayne Brady or Ryan Stiles – appear to have commented publicly on the cancellation.
The current season of the long-running series – which started up on ABC before moving over to The CW – has included guest stars Padma Lakshmi, Darren Criss, and Gary Anthony Williams and is currently four episodes into its last season.
The original version of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ – which followed four performers conducting a series of short-form improvisation games in front of an audience – first aired in the UK from 1998 until 1999 and was presented by Clive Anderson.
Last month, Colin explained that the show is “very special” to him because of the friendships he has built during its long run.
He said: “It has certainly given all of us a career and a chance to be able to do this. Personally, all these guys are like my best friend. I grew up with Ryan so I’ve known him the longest. Greg was the first American I met when we did the British version. We’ve all become really good friends and really enjoy each other. Professionally, the fact that I’m making a living doing something that didn’t exist when I was growing up constantly amazes me. ‘Whose LIne’ is very special to me.”

Jeremy Clarkson says James Corden seems ‘up his his own bottom’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Clarkson says James Corden seems “up his his own bottom”.
The ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ presenter feels the ‘The Late Late Show’ host – who was recently banned from the Manhattan eatery Baltazar – comes across as a “disgusting, bad-tempered plagiarist” after Ricky Gervais accused the 44-year-old funnyman of robbing one of his jokes.
The 62-year-old broadcaster wrote in his Sunday Times’ newspaper column: “When there are hot and cold running assistants eager to indulge your every whim it’s very easy to become a monster.
“We can all become exasperated when things don’t go to plan on a night out. But why did James order an egg yolk omelette when it wasn’t on the menu? It’s a sign of c*** flu madness.”
Jeremy admitted to seeing diva behaviour like the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ star’s when he filmed ‘Star In A Reasonably Priced Car’ feature on BBC Two’s ‘Top Gear’- alongside Richard Hammond and James May, with whom he now presents ‘The Grand Tour’ on Amazon Prime Video.
He said: “We’d mark them for how rude and late they were and for how many people were in their entourage.
“And here’s the funny thing – if they’d just become famous because they’d won a dancing competition they were often rude and late.”
Jeremy ruled that James was “obviously so disconnected from the real world” that he needed to reset.
James addressed the drama on the CBS talk show – which he is leaving in summer next year – and admitted he was “ungracious” to the wait staff at the French bistro, prompting his banishment by the Soho restaurateur Keith McNally.
He said: “Because I didn’t shout or scream, I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language, I’ve been walking around thinking that I haven’t done anything wrong.
“But the truth is I have made a rude, rude comment. And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment, it was ungracious to the server.”

Alison Hammond struggled to breathe in her costume on The Masked Singer

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond struggled to breathe in her costume on ‘The Masked Singer.’
The 47-year-old TV star was revealed to be Witchetty Grub on Sunday’s (06.11.22) special edition of the musical game show – which saw a slew of famous faces conceal their identities with costumes inspired by ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here’ – after performing M People hit ‘Moving on Up’ and was amazed that she managed to keep her appearance a secret but revealed that she had “almost zero oxygen” in the multi-layered outfit.
She said: “Can you believe it? You know what I’m like, I’m like the worst one at keeping a secret. But I did really well. I had to sign something and obviously, there would have been legal proceedings if I’d told anyone so that was the main reason that I didn’t tell a soul. It was brilliant! Witchetty Grub chose me. They said ‘You’re gonna be Witchetty Grub’ and I was like ‘Okay, that’s fine’ and when I saw the costume I was like ‘I’m really a Witchetty Grub!’ It was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever had to do mainly because if you look at the costume there is a head inside another glass head so the amount of oxygen I had inside was – it was like zero! I was really struggling! So I had to play it down. Those moves you saw me doing, that’s all I could do because I just wasn’t physically capable to sing, be in those two heads, and dance as well so I just had to concentrate on getting the vocals out. It was so hard. One of the most challenging things I’ve ever had to do.”
The ‘Big Brother’ star – who competed in the show alongside fellow former ‘I’m a Celebrity’ campmates such as Sinitta and Vernon Kay – went on to describe her experience on the show as the “most bizarre thing ever” because of the lengths she had to go to hide her identity while at the studio and was even called by her character name by production staff.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “Ten minutes before you get to the studio, you’ve got to put on this outfit, a black t-shirt that says ‘Don’t talk to me!’, you’ve got a balaclava, gloves, socks and you have to make sure that none of your skin is showing. Then you’ve got this helmet that goes over your head so that’s when you go into the studio and someone is leading you round the whole time. They’re calling you Witchetty Grub the whole time. I became Witchetty Grub. It was just the most bizarre thing ever!”

Lola Pearce will marry Jay Brown at Christmas in EastEnders

OHMYGOSSIP — Lola Pearce will marry Jay Brown at Christmas in ‘EastEnders’.
This year’s festive edition will see the hairdresser (Danielle Harold) – who is mother to 10-year-old daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) – tie the knot with the funeral director (Jamie Borthwick) after she was given the tragic news the operation to remove her brain tumour was not successful.
A source told the Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “It’s the big seasonal plotline and there won’t be a dry eye in the house.
“EastEnders fans will be rooting for Lola to be happy after the traumatic news that she is dying of a brain tumour. The highly-charged scenes will be a big hit.”
The news of Lola’s departure was first revealed in June as bosses outlined their intention to kill her off with “grace and care” as they consulted brain tumour charities to make sure the storyline is respectful and accurate to those going through the horrific ordeal, which was partly inspired The Wanted star Tom Parker, who lost his battle with the disease earlier this year, aged 33, and was survived by his wife Kelsey, 30, and their two children, Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two.
The insider also detailed that the pair – whose relationship has been on and off again on the BBC One soap – are getting cozy “in real life” and not just on Albert Square.
They shared: “In real life Danielle and Jamie have been getting very, very close.
“Talk of the duo has been rife on set. Let’s just say they won’t have to stretch themselves when filming the romantic scenes together.”
Danielle – whose on-screen mother is set to be played by Patsy Kensit – “can’t wait” to explore other projects after bringing Lola to life for ten years.
The 30-year-old actress -who left the soap in 2015 after joining in 2011 before returning in 2019 – said: “I want to work on other things and play other characters. I can’t wait to get out there and see what’s possible. I’d love to do a drama — something with a beginning, middle and an end to the story.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jill Scott can “sleep anywhere.”

I would always get my sleep, because I can sleep anywhere and that’s probably why, because I got used to it. ut eating as well. I’d be stopping at the services and just grabbing anything. Some of the food I’ve eaten, like a Dairylea Lunchable just to get some energy. I was ill quite a lot. I’m touching wood right now because I think in the last eight years of playing for City I’ve only been unavailable for one game. It’s the coffee, it helps your immune system as well.”
The former England player went on to explain that she had to cover her own expenses during the early days of her football career but feels “fortunate” to have experienced the “journey” of the sport and has made “so many good friends” along the way.
She told The Daily Mirror newspaper: “When I first started there was a lot of travelling and we didn’t get paid to play football, so a lot of the time you were covering your own expenses. I should’ve had shares in petrol back then. But back then you could put £5 petrol in and that would probably get you up the motorway. It wouldn’t nowadays. But I feel so fortunate that I’ve actually lived the journey of the game and made so many good friends. Because back then it was like, ‘Can someone let us sleep on the sofa? I’ve got training tonight.’ It was literally like that, but you made such good friendships through that.”
