Myleene Klass loves being ‘part of the action’ at Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Myleene Klass loves to be “part of the action” at Christmas.
The 44-year-old pianist – who has daughters Ava, 15, and Hero, 11, with ex-husband Graham Quinn and three-year-old son Apollo with fiance Simon Motson – hates the idea of missing out on family fun because she’s stuck in the kitchen making a traditional turket feast, so she has created the My Christmas Hero meal kit as part of her My Supper Hero venture.
She said: “The Christmas Hero is perfect, not only is it utterly delicious and impressive to serve but it’s super easy and fuss free to prepare.
“Christmas is all about having fun with the family. I like to be part of the action rather than spending all my time in the kitchen prepping and cooking.
“My Supper Hero and the beautiful kit we have created specifically for Christmas allow me to have it all, wowing my friends and family with fabulous food and making sure I’m enjoying the magical time making special memories.”
The kit, which has been created by Myleene and her co-founder Jamie Barber requires just five minutes of prep and features Ballotine of Suffolk Bronze free range turkey breast, wrapped in rare breed smoked streaky bacon, confit Koffmann potatoes roasted with garlic and herb butter, creamed savoy cabbage with mature cheddar cheese, carrots and parsnips braised in orange juice and glazed in smoked garlic honey, whole grain mustard glazed pigs in blankets, rich, thick sage and roast turkey gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, corn bread, and rare breed pork stuffing with cranberries, sage and onion.
Myleene previously spoke of how much she treasures the homemade gifts and cards her children make her for Christmas and other special occasions.
She said: “On Christmas morning, there’ll be a flurry of wrapping paper in our house.
“I prefer gifts that are handmade so I always tell my girls to just make me a card.
“I keep each one they’ve ever given me in a memory box.
“These are precious times and I want to enjoy every fabulous moment.”

Kate Winslet returning to Dark Season after more than 30 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet is returning to ‘Dark Season.’
The 47-year-old actress made her professional acting debut in the six-part sci-fi children’s serial – which was the first drama to be penned by Russell T Davies and followed three teenagers fighting to save Bishop Grave School from an evil teacher – in 1991 and has now teamed up with the ‘Doctor Who’ showrunner to play the part of Reet once more as part of an audio drama titled ‘Dark Season: Legacy Rising’ and is “delighted” to be going back to the beginnings of her career.
She said: “I was delighted to be asked to come back! It’s been genuinely moving and wonderful to revisit those early days of my career. What a way to start, with the now-legendary Russell T Davies! I really treasure those early moments when I learnt so much. Those invaluable early days starting out as a small fish in an enormous pond…. it was a pivotal time in my life.”
The ‘Titanic’ star – who has gone on win an Oscar and act in more than 50 blockbusters since her time on the BBC One show but will reunite with former co-stars Victoria Lambert, Ben Chandler, Grant Parsons, and Brigit Forsyth for the project – explained that the audiobook will be “very special” because it will appeal to a new generation of young people.
She added: “Now, the story goes on and there’s a whole other generation of young people who will enjoy ‘Dark Season’. It’s been absolutely lovely to be invited back and to be able to give my voice to the character again after so many years, is very special. It’s been a privilege to revisit that world and reunite the original cast. I don’t think anyone could have expected Kate Winslet returning to the role of Reet for Big Finish, but to record scenes with her interacting with the rest of the original cast has been a real thrill.”
The sequel series will also star Aitch Wylie, Bethany Antonia and Jacob Dudman as three new teenagers in four new stories titled ‘Spring’, ‘Sumer’ ‘Autumn’ and ‘Winter’ and Russell explained that returning to his first series has been one of the “greatest joys” in his life.
He said: “This has been one of the great joys of my life. The first show I ever wrote, back again, with brand-new adventures! And to get all the cast back together – Kate, Victoria, Brigit, Grant and Ben – is the greatest compliment of all. All of us united in very happy memories.”

Tony Adams: Strictly had been getting tough for a few weeks

OHMYGOSSIP — Tony Adams felt that ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ had been getting “tough” in the weeks leading up to his exit.
The 56-year-old former footballer – who has been married to Poppy Teacher, 49, since 2004 – had been taking part in the BBC Latin and ballroom competition with professional partner Katya Jones but was unable to take part in the dance off on Sunday (13.11.22) because of an injury so withdrew from the competition and admitted that he only took to the stage in the first place because his wife and mother-in-law were in the audience.
He said: “It’s been getting tough for the last couple of weeks, I had a little bit of a hammy last week and I went out there and danced, and then on Thursday I pointed my toe down, bit of retraction and went ‘oof’. We didn’t do anything on Friday and then they gave me the choice, they were very professional the BBC, the physio was first class, they said ‘It’s your decision Tony, do you want to go for it?’ My wife said “my mum’s coming, you’ve got to dance!’ I looked into her eyes and she went ‘Come on!'”
Meanwhile, the former Arsenal player – whose last performance on the BBC Saturday night favourite was a Jive to ‘Land of a Thousand Dances’ – explained he was not sure he was going to get through his final dance but joked that he had “fallen in love” with Head Judge Shirley Ballas after weeks of receiving “very constructive criticism” from her.
Speaking during his first interview since his exit on ‘Strictly – It Takes Two’, he told presenters Rylan Clark and : “I’ve loved it all to be honest with you. I’ve thrown myself into it all. I was not sure that I was going to get through that [the jive] to be completely honest with you, roly polys are for six-year-olds not 56 year olds!
“It’s a bizarre show isn’t it, let’s be honest, we’re all different age groups, different standards, and you come in and you just do your best. I really listened. The week before she’d been very complimentary as well, and very constructive with her criticism at the times when she was. I’ve fallen in love with Shirley, she’s my favourite!”
In the joint interview, Kaya explained that because the Jive was the first time he had looked at her properly, she ended up “forgetting all the steps” and joked that he will now think it is her fault they are out of the competition.
She said: “For the first time he actually looked at me like, “I’m dancing with you Kat!” I so wanted him to get every single step right I think I forgot all my steps if I’m honest with you, watching it back… he’s going to blame me for us leaving the competition now!”
However, Tony assured Katya that he “absolutely loved” being partnered with her and believes he has gained a “friend for life.”
He added: “I have too much to say but I’ve absolutely loved it, I’ve gained a friend for life!”
‘Strictly – It Takes Two’ continues every weeknight at 6:30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ airs on Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One and BBC iPlayer

Matt Hancock will NOT be facing Tuesday’s trial on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock will not be facing the next Bushtucker Trial on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.’
The 44-year-old politician – who served as the UK’s Health Secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic – is currently taking part in the jungle reality survival series and has so far taken part in six consecutive trials to win food for his campmates, but the public has now decided that comedian Babatúndé Aléshé, radio star Chris Moyles and pop icon Boy George will all face Angel of Agony on Tuesday’s (15.11.22) episode.
Following the announcement made by Ant and Dec that Matt would not be taking part in the trial, the campmates cheered and when Boy George learned of his fate he exclaimed: “Well, at least there’s three of us!”
Earlier in the show, Matt – whose streak of six consecutive trials is beaten only by ‘Coronation Street’ actress Helen Flanagan’s total of seven in a row in 2013 – was placed underground in a coffin battling with snakes to win stars for camp and came away with a total of seven but could “sense” that his co-stars were wanting to have a go.
He said: “I don’t know why [they keep voting]. It’s become part of my morning routine. You get up, you brush your teeth, you have a shave, do a trial, and go back for lunch. Sometimes they get me to do a challenge as well. Nobody has said that they want to do one instead, but you can sense it.
Elsewhere on Monday’s episode, ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter Scarlette Douglas and ‘Hollyoaks’ star Owen Warner took part in the Deals on Wheels in an attempt to win extra treats for camp.
The pair were challenged with counting up cash from eight currencies and working out their respective currencies but failed to complete the task in time – marking a first in the show’s history – meaning that the camp did not get a trivia question via a phone call that would have unlocked a luxury.
Upon returning to camp, Scarlette told her co-stars: “Do you know why you didn’t get a phone call? Because we didn’t complete the challenge in the right time. We’re absolutely devastated and we’re so sorry!”

Chris Moyles: The BBC handled my exit so badly

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Moyles felt “cross” after being suddenly replaced by Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1.
The 48-year-old star – who is currently taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ – was a regular fixture on the station between 1997 and 2012 but was hastily replaced in his slot by Nick Grimshaw in a move that he believes was handled “so so badly.”
Speaking on Monday’s episode of the ITV reality survival show, he told campmate Matt Hancock: “I left happy, I was a bit cross after I left and I was cross… they handled it so badly, so badly. So I went in with my agent and the controller and we sit down and he goes, ‘Look, this isn’t very easy, I think it’s time we wrapped the show up. We’re going to announce in the news at half 10 that Nick Grimshaw’s taking over.”
The UK’s former Health Secretary appeared shocked as he exclaimed “No!” and Chris went on to explain that his agent tried to defend him in what became a heated argument with BBC executives.
He added: “My agent went, ‘That’s out of order’ and it all got a bit steamy. And I’m like, ‘Both of you calm down, stop.’ I said to the boss, ‘You can’t do that.’ He goes, ‘Well if we don’t do that, it’ll get out.’ I said, ‘Well up until 60 seconds ago, I didn’t know about it. So, after 15 years, you can’t do that. I have to announce that I’m coming off the breakfast show and we have to work out what’s happening. This is not a two minute conversation and that’s naughty.’ So I said ‘Look, trust me, I’ve been here a long time, let me make the announcement and then I’d love to get involved with how we then announce who is going to take over.’ And they announced it at 10.30 the next morning. We finished at 10 they announced it at 10.30 that Nick was taking over. I was just like, ‘Ok, alright.’ But, they gave us three months to say goodbye, which was great. So I said, ‘You know, thanks for everything, cheers.”
Matt – who had compared Chris’ abrupt end with his BBC radio show to his own time in politics – asked him how it felt to be ousted after so long and Chris replied that he took a year off and eventually met now-girlfriend Tiffany Austin while on holiday.
He said: “I decided to take a year off at that point. And that was fun. I went and rented a house in LA for a month, text all my mates that lived there and people I’d got to know going, ‘I’m back in town for 4 weeks, let’s get a coffee, let’s get dinner, let’s go to the pub.’ And I had a little life. And that’s where I met Tiff. She was living there.”
Reflecting on his conversation with Matt in the Bush Telegraph, Chris said: “When you do the breakfast show on Radio 1 you get these amazing opportunities coming your way, but you always know in the back of your head, one day that will finish. So when it did finish, to do the musical, to do my own tour, and then meet my future girlfriend – then my life changed entirely. So, no regrets, all happy, it’s been a good journey so far.”
‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ watch the next live episode tomorrow at 9.15pm (Tuesday) on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.

Miriam Margolyes ‘joins Doctor Who cast’

OHMYGOSSIP — Miriam Margolyes has reportedly been cast in ‘Doctor Who’.
The ‘Harry Potter’ actress is said to be joining the BBC’s sci-fi show as part of the 60th anniversary celebrations next year, and she will appear opposite David Tennant when he returns to the TARDIS.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “With an acting career almost as old as ‘Doctor Who’ itself, it’s a surprise to think she hasn’t already featured in an episode over the past six decades.
“But that only makes her even more of a prestige addition to a cast which already features Neil Patrick Harris and Catherine Tate, who returns to play the Doctor’s assistant Donna Noble.”
According to the report, Miriam was a “natural choice” for the role.
The source added: “The show’s creators felt that she was such a great character in real life that she was a natural choice to play the character she will have on the sci-fi show, which the BBC are keeping a closely guarded secret.
“And at the grand age of 81, her career is enjoying something of a renaissance at the moment.”
Last month, Jodie Whittaker made her final appearance as the Thirteenth Doctor in BBC Centenary Special ‘The Power of the Doctor’, and viewers were left shocked and surprised when she regenerated into a familiar face, that of Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.
Returning showrunner Russell T Davies has now revealed that this incarnation of the Time Lord is actually the Fourteenth Doctor and he has teased that fans can expect “plenty more surprises” in the three specials coming in November 2023 to mark the sci-fi show’s 60th anniversary before Ncuti Gatwa becomes the Fifteenth Doctor.
He said: “If you thought the appearance of David Tennant was a shock, we’ve got plenty more surprises on the way! The path to Ncuti’s Fifteenth Doctor is laden with mystery, horror, robots, puppets, danger, and fun!
“And how is it connected to the return of the wonderful Donna Noble? How, what, why? We’re giving you a year to speculate, and then all hell lets loose!”

Henry Winkler regrets rejecting Grease role

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Winkler regrets turning down the chance to star in ‘Grease’.
The ‘Happy Days’ legend didn’t want to be typecast after rising to fame as Arthur ‘Fonzie’ Fonzarelli – also known as The Fonz – on the classic sitcom, and he thought the role of Danny Zuko was too similar.
He told CNNs Chris Wallace: “It was so bad that not only could I not find work, but I was sitting at my desk at Paramount and I literally thought, ‘Am I ever going to find anything with as much impact as the Fonz?’
“How will I know? Will anybody ever ask me? I’m not getting any offers.”
An offer did turn up, but Winkler snubbed the chance to play Danny, with the part eventually going to John Travolta.
Asked if he feels like a “damn fool” for rejecting ‘Grease’, Winkler said: “Yes. I am.
“I only realised years afterwards… I thought, ‘I’ve played the Fonz. I don’t wanna do it again, but it’s already happened, I’m already typecast.’ ”
The 77-year-old actor – who currently appears with Bill Harder in HBO’s ‘Barry’ – joked his life could have taken a very different turn if he’d accepted the offer.
He added: “I should’ve just shut up and had a really good time making that movie.
“Now, I go home, I say no, and I have a Diet Coke. John Travolta goes home, and has done the movie, and buys a plane.”
Despite his own legacy on the big and small screen, Winkler previously revealed he writes fan letters to other actors.
He explained: “I think if you see something it is so incredible, if you see a performance like Sam Rockwell as Fosse [in ‘Fosse/Verdon’], you have to write a letter.
“If you see Patricia Arquette in ‘Escape From Dannemora’, you have to write a letter. I write fan letters.”

Margot Robbie’s female-fronted Pirates of the Caribbean film scrapped

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie’s female-fronted ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film has been scrapped.
The 32-year-old actress admitted a “really cool” story had been in development with Disney “for a while”, but that project is now over.
She told the new issue of America’s Vanity Fair magazine: “We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led – not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story – which we thought would’ve been really cool, but I guess they don’t want to do it.”
In May, executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer – who has worked on all five ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movies – confirmed he was in talks with Robbie about developing another film in the franchise.
He said: “We’re talking to Margot Robbie. We are developing two Pirates scripts – one with her, one without.”
It was first revealed in June 2020 that Robbie was set to reunite with her ‘Birds of Prey’ writer Christina Hodson for the project.
One of Robbie’s latest roles sees her star as nurse Valerie Voze, in David O. Russell’s comedy-thriller ‘Amsterdam’, and the actress recently told how she sent the director to sleep while filming the motion picture.
She said: “One day he made me come in to read, like, 40 pages of dialogue. I start to read and he says, ‘No, no, no. More calm, more relaxed’.
“So I did it again and he was like, ‘No, no, no. I want you to read it like you just took three Xanax’. I thought to myself, ‘I’m putting him to sleep’.
“He was [drifting off] like this, so I stop and ask him if he wants me to put more energy into it.
“And he goes, ‘No! You’re doing it perfectly’. So I did the whole thing until he was fully asleep and snoring.”

Amy Childs ‘needs to know’ the genders of her unborn twins

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Childs “needs to know” the genders of her unborn twins.
The 32-year-old reality star is already mum to Polly, five, and son Ritchie, four, from previous relationships but is expecting twins with current boyfriend Billy Delbosq, 38, and explained that she needs to be more “organised” this time and would “never” find out the sex if she was pregnant with just one.
She said: “We’re finding out the genders for the twins because I thought about how lovely it would be to do a gender reveal for me, Bill and the family, or if we do something just us two. Billy is a first-time dad so he obviously wants that excitement of finding out. We’re definitely finding out because I feel like I need to be organised. If I was pregnant again with just one baby, I’d have never found out the gender. It would have been a surprise. But with twins, because it’s such a shock to us, we sort of need to know what we need to get. We need to be prepared for it.”
The ‘TOWIE’ star has also ruled out the option of giving birth at home because she feels she would be left unable to look at her house in “the same way” and is also classed as “high-risk” because she is carrying twins.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she added: “I do think as well if I had a home birth I don’t think I’d be able to look at my home the same way. It’s really mad because even when I had Ritchie and Polly at Broomfield Hospital in Essex, I literally went past the place about three weeks after and it gave me the heebeegeebees. I thought, ‘Oh my God I can’t look at this place, it makes me feel ill’. With twins, I’m high risk. I’m not high risk personally as I’m fit and 32 and whatever, but I’ve learned that when you have twins it’s classed as high risk. But I’d never have a home birth anyway in case of any complications and if anything happened.”

I’m A Celebrity planning Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? bushtucker trial

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ is to stage a bushtucker trial based on ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.’
The star-studded survival show – which returned to screens last weeks and sees a host of famous faces live in the Australian jungle while undergoing trials to win food for camp – will reportedly air a challenge in the format of the ITV quiz show, titled ‘Who Wants To Look Silly On Air?.’
A source said: “The trial is a jungle version of Millionaire and should be a lot of fun. Two people will have 60 seconds to answer six questions. Just like on the real show they will have options like Phone a Friend, Ask The Host (Ant and Dec), and 50/50.”
However, in keeping with the theme of the reality show – which this year stars the likes of former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, ‘Coronation Street’ actress Sue Cleaver and pop icon Boy George – the contestants will be getting covered in odorous debris as they attempt to answer questions.
The source told The Mirror: “But they will have some added issues you don’t normally get sitting in the chair looking at the questions as they’ll be getting covered in stinky custard, batter, fish guts, molasses, and slime.”
On Thursday (10.11.22), it was revealed that Matt, 44, who was the UK’s health secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic – will face his third trial and join pop star Boy George when they head to a Cucaracha Cafe in scenes to be aired on Friday night.
On Thursday, Matt took on the Tentacles of Terror trial and managed to collect 11 stars for himself and his campmates.
The controversial politician held his breath underwater and stuck his hand into a cage of lobsters, as he went in search of the stars.
But despite his impressive effort, Matt was still selected for the next Bushtucker Trial.

Georgia Toffolo feels ‘sorry’ for Matt Hancock on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out of Here

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia Toffolo feels a “tiny bit sorry” for Matt Hancock on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out of Here.’
The 44-year-old politician served as the UK’s health secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic but is controversially taking part in the ITV reality survival show and former ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Toff, 28, – who was crowned Queen of the Jungle herself in 2017 – explained that she is trying to “compartmentalise” the situation and think about the MP in two different ways.
She said: “What I’ve been trying to do this week is compartmentalise. So I thought about Matt Hancock the MP who has abandoned his constituents, that’s that. And then I look at a campmate who has just gone in into quite a tricky situation and I think as a viewer you will always feel a little bit uncomfortable with someone being rejected and I can’t help but feel a tiny bit sorry for him.”
The ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ star went on to add that she has noticed that Matt – who was suspended from the Conservative Party after
signing up for the show and is about to face his third consecutive bushtucker trial – is “craving likeability” and feels if she needs to “give him a chance.”
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “But I really am being strong on this – there really are two separate thought processes for me. There the Matt who is going in there and one thing I’ve noticed about Matt Hancock is that he is craving likeability and I think when you do behave like that in a camp setting you can’t help but feel like ‘Oh, I’ve got to give the man a chance!'”

Ellie Taylor ‘absolutely astounded’ to still be in Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Taylor is “absolutely astounded” to still be in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Ted Lasso’ star and her professional dance partner Johannes Radebe scored 22 points out of 40 last weekend, after topping the leaderboard the weekend before, when Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke awarded her a seven, Shirley Ballas gave out a five, while Craig Revel Horwood gave the pair a measly three.
Despite the underwhelming result, the 38-year-old comedian sailed through to week eight, and is still shocked she made it past the third week.
She said: “I put up to week three in my diary and crossed my fingers that I’d make it. I’m absolutely astounded that I’m still in in week eight and I can almost see Blackpool, which is obviously a massive thing in the ‘Strictly’ calendar. I can smell the fish and chips.”
According to Ellie, there is no such thing as constructive criticism.
She said: “No one wants to get criticism anyway do they … I’ve suggested to producers we get rid of the judges, get rid of the eliminations, we all just learn to dance and after 13 weeks we get a certificate.”
Ellie, who shares four-year-old daughter Valentina with husband Phil Black, admits the youngster is “a bit confused” by her mum dancing with another man.
Speaking on Saturday’s (12.11.22) ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, she adds: “She’s a bit confused by that. She gets sad that Johannes and I don’t finish our dances with a kiss. And she asked me the other day, I’ve started sleeping in a different bedroom so she doesn’t wake me up in the middle of the night, and she said to me, ‘Is Johannes up there, do you sleep with Johannes every night?’ And I was saying, ‘No, he’s at his own house, darling.’ ”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Saturday, at 10.00pm on ITV and ITV Hub.

Sue Cleaver reveals she is adopted

OHMYGOSSIP — Sue Cleaver was adopted at birth and met her biological mother by chance as a young actress.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star, 59, – who has played the role of matriarch Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap since 2000 – is currently taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’ and revealed to her campmates in the Australian jungle on Friday (11.11.22) that she had never been her “authentic self” as a teenager and was put in touch with her real mother during her early twenties.
She said: “Acting saved me. I’m adopted, and I had a lot of attachment disorders that I think started in my teens. Trying on personalities like coats, like ‘Is this who I am?’, ‘Does this suit me?’ I was never my authentic self, ever! It was when I was at drama school, so I was about 23 or 24. The Royal Exchange were looking for little tiny parts to be in ‘Oedipus’ that David Threlfall was doing. There was an actor in the show called Michael N. Harbour and when we walked in on the first day, he turned to David and said ‘Oh my God, she’s the absolute double of my wife when I met her! He just said to me ‘What was your date of birth?’, I said ”2nd of the ninth 63′, he said ‘Where were you born?’, and I went ‘Barnet.’ He rung his wife and said ‘I’ve found her.'”
The ‘Band of Gold’ actress went on to explain the resemblance between herself and her biological mother was “uncanny” but knew she had done “what she needed to” as a teenage mother and had managed to have a “lovely relationship” with her ever since.
Speaking to shocked campmates including Scarlette Douglas, Matt Hancock, and Seann Walsh, she added: “You see pictures of her at sort of like 20, and then [pictures of] me and it’s uncanny. She was 16 or 17 when she had me. I think she did what she had to do and I’m glad she did. I was brought up in a very loving family. I’ve got two half-sisters who are both in the business. Kate is huge in animation and Emma was an actress. My mum and my birth mother, we’ve all met and been out for dinner kept in touch and had a lovely relationship ever since. So it’s a nice ending, I’m very lucky. ”
Reflecting on her revelation in The Bush Telegraph, Sue noted that she is usually a “private person” but felt “really safe” amongst her co-stars.
She said: “I’m usually quite a private person and I just opened up. I feel really really safe and I think everyone else does. Naturally, these things just come out. It felt good, it felt good to share.”

Matt Hancock wants ‘forgiveness’ after breaking his own lockdown guidance

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Hancock wants “forgiveness” after breaking his own lockdown guidance.
The 44-year-old politician – who is currently taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ – served as Health Secretary during the COVID-19 pandemic and had implemented lockdown rules across the country which prevented household mixing but was caught having an affair with aide Gina Coladangelo and has now described his actions to his campmates on the show as a “mistake.”
He said: “No I did not break any lockdown rules. I didn’t break any law! Guidance is guidance but it was my guidance, that’s why…it was a mistake because I fell in love with somebody. It’s true! In a way, lots of the campmates ask questions that the public has got as well so it’s only respectful to give straight and truthful answers. That’s why I’m apologising for it. It’s bigger than just a sorry. Well, there you go and that’s one of the reasons that I regret it as much as I do.”
However, Matt – who was suspended from the Conservative Party after signing up for the show – was then quizzed by ‘Loose Women’ anchor Charlene White about his overall response to the pandemic and defended the decisions he made but claimed that he is looking for “forgiveness” through his appearance on the show.
Speaking on Friday’s (11.11.22) episode of the show, he added: “The pandemic as a whole, I’m much more robust in my defence of it. PPE for instance, of course, I saw what happened too but that’s because we needed masses more PPE and so did everybody else in the world. There’s reasons so much was taken. And ultimately, those problems were caused by the virus and not the people who were trying to solve the problem.
“What I’m really looking for is a bit of forgiveness. That’s what I’m really looking for. We all make mistakes. I made a pretty big one.”
Following the comments, ITV newsreader Charlene, 42, joked that she could have been “knocked down with a feather” and was seen to give the MP a hug when he got emotional.
Speaking in The Bush Telegraph, she said: “Well, you could’ve blown me down with a feather. That was not what I was expecting at all. It is a very human reaction when you can see when someone is getting upset is to give them a hug.”
Prior to the discussion, Matt took part in an eating trial with Boy George and had to eat a sheep’s vagina, a camel’s penis, as well as a cow’s anus and brought back 11 stars for camp, with ‘Coronation Street’ star Sue Cleaver joking that she “appreciated” his efforts and wanted to “draw a line” under the political tension following his explanation.
“What I do appreciate is that you did eat a sheep’s vagina for us. And life isn’t black-and-white, we are all fallible and we all f***up! It was the elephant in the room and I was glad that he’d said us and that a line should be drawn beneath it. ”
Following a public vote, Matt is to face his fourth consecutive Bushtucker trial on Saturday’s episode but will this time team up with ‘Hollyoaks’ star Owen Warner as the pair tackle ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’-themed quiz titled ‘Who Wants to Look Silly On Air?’, which will see the campmates follow a game based on the ITV quiz show whilst being doused in various unpleasantries as their co-stars watch on from the sidelines.

Kym Marsh almost quit Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh almost quit ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 46-year-old actress revealed a crippling panic attack during rehearsals which with her professional partner Graziano Di Prima, 28, almost led to her pulling out of the BBC dance show.
She told The Sun newspaper: “It just came over me, almost out of nowhere, and I couldn’t carry on.
“I’ve always suffered from panic attacks. It’s something I don’t mind talking about because I know it can affect anyone at any time.
“Sometimes it has been ages (since an attack) and then suddenly one just hits.
“Everyone thinks that because you’re on the telly you must be amazingly confident, but the truth is that I’m not always and this is how that comes out.
“I don’t know exactly what caused it, I think I’d had some harsh comments from the judges the week before, I’ve been working other jobs at the same time too, so it’s tiring, and I just lost my confidence completely.
” I went to pieces and said ‘I don’t think I can do this’.
“At that moment I wasn’t sure I could even carry on with the show.
It’s hard to explain, you don’t see it coming. I’ve had therapy for anxiety and tried things like that but it can still just creep up, usually just when you could most do without it.
“There were a lot of tears, and a few of the other guys had to step in to help me and they cancelled the rehearsal at that point.
“Everyone was great in the crew and the production, Hamza (Yassin, wildlife presenter and fellow contestant) was especially kind.
“He just calmed me down and tried to remind me ‘We’re only dancing’.”
Kym also praised her dance partner Graziano for helping her get through the panic attack.
She said: “It was Graziano who really pulled me through.
“He’s just the most incredible man and we’ve got really close, even though he had no idea who I was beforehand.
“Now he comes over to our house once a week for dinner.”
